Mohamed and Marie were wonderful hosts at breakfast, what a charming place. Lahcen, Ibrahim, Youssef, Nezha, or Amal were always attentive at the riad’s reception. This is what makes Riad Dar Justo Hotel Boutique & Spa special, the people who work there. In addition, they offer a good breakfast, tasteful and delicate decor, multiple spaces to enjoy the riad, rooms with every detail considered, all in the heart of the Medina, giving the feeling of being in a place far removed from the world.

Cons: Sem nenhum reparo a hospedagem

It’s beautiful. It smells great. Everyone is so nice. I like the morning breakfast. It was just the right amount of variety… light enough… and option for made to order egg dishes.

Cons: Really not much to complain about. It takes a few tries to get comfortable with the route walking to and finding the location but it becomes intuitive after you walk in 2-3 times.

Very stylish with a lot of attention to details.

Cons: We were the first at breakfast in the morning and they were still setting up the buffet. The helper and the waitress did not say good morning when we entered or left. When we checked out, the lady at the reception did not say goodbye or anything. I was really shocked at how they are trained to talk or rather not talk to guests. The air conditioning is very noisy.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Justo, my rooms was perfect, I had an upstairs/ downstairs bed combo on my own, plenty of room to spread out. I used one bed for my clothes and the other to sleep. The bathroom was spacious, and everything was clean. The staff were outstanding, the reception staff were a delight, so friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem and they provided some fantastic restaurant and food options. Breakfast was good, a selection of cooked eggs with a range of other things to eat - and the spa, I ended up there twice in our 5 night stay for massage. Amazing!

Cons: The location is a little hard to find and sometimes on maps it doesn’t show exactly where you need to go. However this is not bad as the location is quiet and if you put in one of the close by shops maps will lead you to a location of which you can work your way around.

This hotel everything we were hoping for from a Marrakech riad. It was stylish, quiet, beautifully decorated and smelt of orange flower blossoms. There was a small pool. The bedroom was the cosiest and the beds lush. There was a lovely rooftop terrace with a restaurant serving sumptuous Moroccan cuisine. Staff were fantastic - always polite and helpful. Nothing was ever too much. It's location is literally in the centre of the medina, so absolutely fantastic, yet it remains so quiet so you feel very apart from the hustle and bustle. It does mean that you have a 5 -7 minute walk to and from the nearest taxi, though. But they have concierge who transport your luggage in and out, so no issue at all. I really cannot recommend this place enough. It is SUPERB! Their spa is also top class.

Cons: Nothing.

My stay at Riad Dar Justo was not great. We found the staff to be unhelpful and did not provide a warm welcome or support when asking general questions such as taxi services/spa/general support. When booking our weekend trip to Marrakesh we had a simple criteria, be close to the action but quiet on an evening, the ability to get a beer or wine if we desired and authentic with the quality you’d expect from a hotel. The Riad Dar Justo ticked all of the boxes, extremely clean, friendly and pleasant. We stopped in one of the standard rooms as I didn’t want a mezzanine floor room, I can sleepwalk so that’s a bit of a no no. The Riad itself is beautiful and great to explore, see the pictures! Breakfast is a broad selection of pastries, cakes fruit, cold cut meats/cheese toast and omelettes and fantastic French style coffee. A must by the way is to arrange transfers with them both ways, this is in two parts, minibus to the walls of the city, then a porter to the hotel, oh and bear in mind that it’s a rat run, so it would be flustering for the first getting to the hotel. All in all, we got lucky with this little gem and can’t fault it!

Riad Dar Justo is beautiful! From the moment we walked in with the beautiful aroma of orange flowers, to the moment we left, we had a wonderful stay. It is peaceful, spacious and beautiful throughout. The staff were amazing and kind. The rooftop restaurant provided delicious food and a quiet space to relax after busy days exploring Marrakech. It is ideally located in the medina. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay! Tip: definitely opt for the airport transfer, it was good value and the riad would have been hard to find on our own before we knew our way around.

Absolutely amazing Hotel, beautiful and like stepping into the set of a movie. Our view of the pool from our room, was such a wonderful surprise upon check in. Yusuf at the front desk was so helpful showing us around and always had a smile and a polite word to say. He Truly made us feel at home. The restaurant had a delicious and very extensive breakfast as well and the dinner was so exquisite, I’m happy we chose to eat there every night. You also definitely can’t miss the Hammam experience at the spa, you will leave feeling like a new person! Hahar, Aliza and Hamsa took such great care of me and made the experience very delightful. I loved it so much I went again the next day. I highly recommend you visit the spa! Overall, excellent hotel and I would definitely visit again.

Overall I thought it was excellent. The room was very well appointed and tasteful. The location was excellent, 6 min walk to the main square. The bar and restaurant were handy, lots of other roads don’t have bars. The staff were amazing. I travelled with my elderly mother and at times she was a little confused. The staff were very patient and kind towards us which was really appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommends the riad to others. I did a lot of research prior to going and I’m not easily pleased, it was excellent.

Cons: Nothing really. If I were being picky the plunge pool was really cold and I didn’t feel able to have a dip. Not sure if it is like this normally or the time of year.

Really good hotel and great staff. The only issue was that it's was really loud and difficult to sleep. I think this was due to our room placement (on the corridor/stairs to the restaurant and bar). It was loud at night and in the morning when setting up for breakfast. It's a shame about the noiseas I would have came back the next time I'm in Marrakech as everything else was great.

Our stay at this property was magical! The gentleman who assisted us with the check-in made the stay amazing by accommodating our requests. This is a fairytale property, and the staff member's service is exceptional. Kudos to the management team for operating this property at a world-class level. The restaurant was amazing and really set the vibe in the evening. If you’re searching for relaxation and tranquility, this is your property. It's a little challenging to get to the hotel with luggage- I recommend getting a porter at the taxi drop. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and the location is good.

Cons: This is silly- the artwork can be improved to make this property more beautiful. I recommend removing large nudity prints and other cheap prints for a family-friendly property. Get original art!

Great location in/at the edge of the Medina. Staff very helpful, arranged transport and guide for us. If you have not been here before, suggest you arrange transport from the airport BEFORE arrival, and call for the hotel porter when you get to the Medina gate to confirm what they look like (cabs can't enter, it is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel, and depending on your flight and baggage you may not want to lug it yourself). Google maps worked flawlessly for our visit, lots to see within 20 minutes on foot. 8 minute walk to the center square, there are many great restaurants in the area. Good food at the hotel, lovely fruit and croissants for breakfast. Will absolutely stay here again for any future visit.

1. Very friendly and helpful staff 2. Amazing big comfortable bed which is incredibly useful when you travel with a toddler 3. Very clean everywhere 4. Nice restaurant in the hotel with the terrace. A lot of people are complaining in the reviews about the breakfast but I think is quite complete: eggs, hotcakes and pancakes, fresh juices, pastries, ham and cheese, fruits, jams, milk and flakes, variety of teas and good coffee etc 5. The way to the riad is a bit isolated but is totally safe at any time of the day. And after exploring the city is quite common to have this type of roads. 6. Do not hesitate to order the transfer from the hotel, is the same price and much more comfortable than official taxi from the airport. And the best of all the kindness of the staff, thank you very much! We had lovely time!

The staff were friendly. That is as good as it got…!

Cons: Oh boy! Where do I start? After staying in multiple amazing Riad, we wanted to conclude our trip with a little more luxury. Based on reviews we booked Justo. What a huge disappointment. No personal service. No ‘home’ welcome. The place is 4 Riad joined together and as such, it is now a hotel… A hotel badly in need of some work! Our room was over two floors, child downstairs on a single bed, our double bed squeezed into an area ‘just’ bigger than the bed. There was little ‘traditional’ feel. Noise levels were high. The upstairs terrace in need of repair and renovation with no nice vista. The restaurant was cozy at night. The food ok but not great. Menu in multiple languages catering for tourists🤷🏻‍♂️ Breakfast was a buffet disaster with a real lack of Moroccan tradition or authenticity. I may as well have been in a chain hotel. Quite simply it was ridiculously overpriced and huge disaster. So much so, we had paid for two nights and stayed just one, opting to move to another Riad and incur the additional expense. In summary, this is not a Riad. It’s not an authentic Moroccan experience. At best, it’s a completely overpriced, badly in need of renovation in the middle of the Medina - no doubt its USP. Just go elsewhere…!

I brought 11 people to Dar Justo for a brand trip for my company and it was a perfect experience to wrap up our trip. I would come here again in a heartbeat. The food is excellent, the staff is kind, the rooms were unique and cool. Honestly 11/10

Cons: The acoustics. We all felt like we had to be quiet all the time but that isn’t really a big deal

The riad itself is very nice and the location is really good (a short 5 min easy walk to the square). It has a lovely roof terrace with many different areas to sit. The breakfasts were really good and service and staff were great. Fabulous mint tea.

Cons: I have given a lower rating for this riad due to our room. We had one of the family rooms on the ground floor next to the pool. The room was very dark with very little natural light. The lighting was poor and a lot of the time we had to use the torches on our mobile phones to look for things in our bags or around the room. The two bedrooms are very tight, which is fine, but as there is no space for luggage upstairs, we had to leave our bag downstairs in the seating area below our stairs. The wooden stairs in the room are very cool to look at, but not practical in terms of safety, especially in such poorly lit conditions. There are sensor lights on the stairs, but they are just not bright enough. Our toilet was also not securely attached to floor so was not steady to sit on. Would I recommend this riad, yes I would BUT I would stipulate to have one of the rooms on the upper floors. I would also recommend the owners of the riad add more lighting below the stairs in these rooms. One last point, the website states free airport transfer, but this is not true, they charge you Euro20.

Beautiful setting in a great location. Restaurant menu had a wonderful selection and all the food was delicious. The hamman is located on site, which was very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions.

Cons: The welcome is very similar to a hotel checkin; however, very little information was provided concerning breakfast time and location. The traditional hamman was okey, there was very little communication during the process; as a first timer it would have been helpful to know a bit more. Overall, it was a good experience, but not one that I would repeat. :)

Riad Dar Justo is located in the middle of the Medina. A lot of the sights, including the main square Jemaa-El-Fna, are a short walk away. All of the staff are wonderful & ever so friendly.

Great location for exploring the city of Marrakech. Very safe and easily to navigate the busy streets. The roof terrace was lovely and sunny and good for a drink after exploring.

Cons: The breakfast was a little poor, more choice was needed and items need to be replaced quicker when they run out. The staff also could be a little more attentive. The room wasn't exactly as described on the internet, there was no sitting area, but it did have two sleeping areas which was good for travelling with kids.

Amazing Riad. It was better than we expected and the staff were really friendly and also helpful. On arrival, the lady checking us in gave us a map and showed us the popular tourist attractions as well as information on our surroundings. Great location, very close to the markets and there is also a spa next door to the riad which is perfect! The food at the restaurant was also great. We would 100% recommend.

Cons: Difficult if you bring lots of luggage as the roads are not great. However, there were people available to carry your bags at a fee.

Riad Dar Justo is a great hotel to stay in. Great service, very clean rooms and delicious breakfast. The only tip I can offer is to contact the hotel before your arrival so someone can receive you from the car. Cars cannot go close to the hotel. It is about 900 feet away from the limit that cars can go.

the place is beautiful. and it has so many hidden seating areas. a great place to hide away from the hustle outside the door. the food is fairly priced. we liked that as many other hotels have US prices for tourists. the room was beautiful and the spa area and women working there super nice. I would come back and stay here. the location is perfect by the way.

Cons: well, the staff is loud in the morning. it is really difficult to sleep from 7:30/8:00 because you can hear everything. I didn’t like that we didn’t receive any upfront communication about the Hammam. The Hammam gets very quickly booked. and when we arrived they had no space any more for a full treatment. would have been great if they would have asked us if we would like to book a slot up front. The breakfast is just ok max. 5. This is our 4 riad/ Hotel in Morocco and it had the worst breakfast. The pancakes and bread didn’t taste fresh. I would have expected more. especially for the price. Also, the price per night is too expensive honestly. it should include a Hammam service. Generally we didn’t feel that we were taken care off. On a rainy day we weren’t offered any support with our bags. It’s a really beautiful place but it’s just not weird because you don’t get the same hospitality as in other spots in Marrakesh. nevertheless I would stay here again, especially during warmer months.

Location is unbeatable - in the center of the Medina but at the same time outside the fuzz of the Souks. The property is very nice and has a great rooftop terrace where a good breakfast is served. Overall very convenient if you are visiting Marrakech for few days and want to be a walking distance to everything,

Cons: The building is old and the soundproof is below average. Even when the windows were closed, you could still hear every noice coming from the corridors and inner courtyard making your sleep a bit difficult and at times annoying especially when the Riad is full. Given that it was a Riad, there were no windows facing the open air and there was no fresh air circulation leading to unpleasant smells coming from the bathroom drain being stuck at the room. Given all the above, we found it overpriced for the experience we got.

Beautiful Riad with eclectic design located in the centre of the Medina in Marrakech. Nice layout and decoration. Also a hammam next door which belongs to the same Riad.

Cons: A long walk via a pedestrian only route (from Bab Laksour) to the accommodation, about 450 metres, only accessible by foot. A footman can be hired through the reception. Dimly lit narrow lanes to negotiate at night. I felt that the room we received which overlooks the small pool was overpriced for size and quality and was noisy with other guests and staff passing by late at night or very early in the morning and woke us up several times during our stay.. Breakfast was good in general but could improve the quality of the coffee and cheese which is processed. A more varied evening menu would also be a plus.

The location was excellent, and the hotel is charming. Our second room had a lot of space and the whole facility was clean.

Cons: The first room the hotel put us in, smelled like it needed to be aired out. The room was small. The drain in the shower also did not work, so I stood in a puddle of water. We asked front desk to change rooms, which they were happy to accommodate and did so right away, but then placed us on the room that I believe was below the restaurant. It was AWFUL. It was noisy at 2300hrs with furniture being dragged across the floor. Then again at 6 in the morning with furniture being dragged across the floor again. Extremely disappointing when the hotel has all these little charming nooks for you to relax, but essentially I am paying for the room to sleep. And we could not sleep because of all the noise. The place was clean, but it was not relaxing, did not provide the minimum a guest expects in a hotel - SILENCE while sleeping. It was not worth the price. It really put a dent on the last 2 days we had in Morocco.

A serene Riad nestled within the bustling Medina. The whole place smells like a spa Riad. It is across a few different levels and has a very peaceful rooftop. Our room was clean and comfortable. There is a helpful central desk, including someone dedicated to booking spa treatments. They also helped us with a taxi to the airport, which was reasonably priced.

Cons: Our room was not huge but was nicely done.

Anne

The location is superb although the Riad is situated down a lane that is not accessible by taxi. Book the Airport shuttle and you will be brought to the edge of the Medina by taxi and then a man will take your luggage in a cart to the Riad. The Riad is right in the middle of the Medina, in the middle of the souks and minutes from the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and some lovely restaurants (Le Jardin, Terrasse des Epices and Cafe Arabe (serves alcohol).

Cons: There is no lift and a lot of steps to navigate if you want to access your room or the rooftop restaurant where breakfast and other meals are served. There is also no way of contacting reception from your room if you have a problem or need help.

the layout and interior design, the small pool and the roof garden restaurant. Breakfast was also very good. we were also given a nicer room as it was our wedding anniversary.

Cons: While staff was generally nice the manager looked a bit under stress. a more smiling rather than just helpful attitude would be welcome. We had a fantastic stay albeit cut short by the current Covid crisis. This is a beautiful Riad right on the edge of the Medina and what makes it even more special is the staff. They are always happy to help and this was highlighted when it looked like we could possibly be finding ourselves stranded awaiting a rescue flight and the management offered us our room free of charge until we were repatriated. I would highly recommend this hotel and would once again like to thank the management and staff for their kindness during a difficult time.

The experience if staying in a riad was actually very nice and this one has beautiful patios and structure, however our room was a box with almost no ventilation and a lot of moist that you can even smell permanently. Also, the terraces do not have the charm and beauty what I have experienced before in many other riads. Finally, although most of the staff was nice and friendly, the people at the front desk are not too professional, sometimes address your requests in a very rude way, and the way they offer you fees for services (trasfers, excursions...) feels very fishy, like nothing was established, they were cheating and you had to bargain like in the shops of the medina... Sadly, I have to say that Dar Justo would be a much more pleasant place if they would take care of these details, but as it is now I think it is not worth the price. I’d rather go somewhere else next time.

We happened upon this riad by luck. We had booked accommodations at Dar Habiba based on beautiful photos and what appeared to be a lovely locale. Upon arriving, we quickly realized we were in a backpacker-esque low budget hotel. Unacceptable, we frantically got online to look for something else. My friend remembered she had been there the year before because she had used the spa services associated with the hotel. Thankfully they had one room left and they sent a porter to retrieve us and transport our bags. We felt like we had arrived at an oasis. We headed up to the rooftop terrace for dinner, where we received the most courteous and attentive service from Hicham. We stayed there for 5 hours. The riad has numerous lounges and nooks where you can escape and enjoy relaxation.I would describe the decor as simple elegance. We felt so fortunate to have found this lovely riad, especially because they closed the day we checked out for two weeks of renovations. As beautiful as it was, I couldn't see the need for them, but it shows the high standards that they have. I highly recommend this riad.

They gave us a room on the ground floor right in-front of the pool. We heard every person walking through the courtyard from our room, from non-guests coming in to take photos inside the pool area, to ppl coming in and out late night. I was there late April so it was not hot, but the room felt very humid and wet.... the towels would not dry. Also, when we wanted to turn no the A/C it was nonexistent.

The hotel and staff were great! Very friendly and accommodating. The only negative thing I have to say is that this hotel is in the middle of a Medina and a bit hard to find especially at night. My friend and I had difficulty finding it and had to ask locals for help (asking for help is not free- FYI). The front desk and restaurant staff made our stay very lovely. The rooms are cool during the hot summer days and the pool is refreshing.

The room and hotel were nice looking however the AC was not working in our room. They told us they fixed it but when we got back from dinner we realized it was still not working. It was really hot in there so we asked for another room and they told us no. We opened the windows to get some air flow but they opened to the lobby which was bright and loud. Again the next day we asked someone else on the way out about the AC and when we got back from our tour it still was not fixed. We pulled the thermostat off the wall and realized all it needed was batteries. I guess the "technician" couldn't figure that out. After talking to 4 people they finally got it working for us and then proceeded to blame us for being hot because we had the windows open. With the exception of one women, the staff in the hotel and restaurant were really not helpful or attentive. They acted as if they were doing us a favor.
