Central, big room, clean and big private bathroom, nice rooftop. The lady working there was very kind and even showed where to do a very local hamam close by.
Cons: The place is hard to find, even with gps. Staff told us upon arrival that we had no reservation and did very little to try to figure the situation out. They also spoke no english and didnt read french well so communication was already hard. After pushing for a while that we really had a booking, they made a call and all of a sudden we could check in. We left the room before 09.00 to go for a tour and left our bags first in the kitchen area but we’re told to leave them in the room. Coming back we got angry messages and comments about occupying the room and that we needed to checkout. That’s what we did in the morning? Then the boss calls and tells me to leave the room, not believing me when I said I didn’t set my foot in the room after 09.00. I only did as told about the bags, and then spent some time in the kitchen area until catching my train. The man working there still seemed bothered by my staying in the kitchen area and made comments several times about if I was gonna leave soon. There was probably some miscommunication between the staff and the boss (who was never there) but it surely didn’t feel nice to be wrongly accused of occupying a room.

Niente.

Alles in allem keine positive Erfahrung. Personal spricht auch kein Wort englisch.

Cons: I booked this riad last minute for my family, hoping to spare them the trouble of searching for accommodations after a long trip. Unfortunately, they ended up facing exactly what I was trying to avoid. The rooms were damp and smelled of mold. To make matters worse, the towels provided were not clean (although these were promptly replaced with cleaner ones). When we raised concerns, we were offered alternative rooms, but they were no better. Since I had booked via Booking.com just 1–2 hours before check-in, I requested the riad (on phone) to waive the cancellation fees, explaining the situation. Not only did they refuse, but the management outright lied, claiming they couldn't process a cancellation without consulting higher-ups—which clearly didn’t exist. A few hours they ended up refusing it for other reason, which is another lie: They said my family actually never did the check-in. 😂 Even Booking.com’s support team, who remained professional throughout, couldn’t hide their disbelief at the excuses this riad’s management made over ~50-55€. This was less about the money and more about the sheer lack of care and honesty. We ended up booking somewhere else and so should you.

Riad Felloussia is a terrific find. Location is great for Meknes, Just in the medina by Bab Mansour, I literally stepped out of my taxi from the station and found it - Its a lovely traditional Riad set around a gorgeous garden courtyard and the roof terrace gives an amazing view over Meknes’ main square. Madame, Rachida and Habiba are the kindest and genuinely friendliest and funniest hosts I have met. The room was huge, clean, with a comfy bed and the best shower I have had in Morocco ! ( I think my bathroom was originally the Riad’s own, mini hammam) I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I spent 3 nights there and loved it. I was travelling as a solo woman and had the loveliest most comfortable time at this fab spot. Meknes is a great city to visit. They’ll cook you a tasty dinner too for an extra fee.

Beautiful riad. The room was very, very spacious -- biggest riad we stayed in. The staff was kind and lovely, however didn't speak much English. We got by okay, though. Located in the Medina, so it is a bit of a maze but once you figure it out, it's a great spot.

I stayed for a month. The house is really pretty. I had a private terrace as well. The location and the staff were great. Super nice and welcoming. Please keep in mind that no taxis reach the Riad as it’s within the old city. As a solo traveler, I felt safe in the Riad and within the old city as well. I would recommend for shorter stays, not longer stays.
Cons: The breakfast was repetitive. The rooms do not have many amenities like hair dryers, irons, or fridges. My room had an ac, but not sure about others. I asked for a kettle after two weeks—they provided the kettle, but the rooms don’t come with these amenities. I stayed for a month, but regular cleaning services are not provided. The bedding and linens are really old and not well-kept. Paid for a month and was late by two days. I didn’t ask for a refund for the first two days but asked if I could stay for one extra night within the same total bill and was refused. They gave me a discount but still charged me.

Beautifully renewed Riad, But poor maintenance.
Cons: It needs maintenance. Our bedroom door was broken and couldn't be locked. Shower didn't work and was clogged. Terrible bed & linens. Nickita, who kind of runs the place, tries hard to make up for the inconveniences but she can only do so much. Roof terrace only accessible for the young & fit.

All was OK, until....
Cons: Nice place. However, had just spent 10days touring the south & the Atlas in establishments a third of the price, sleeping in freshly laundered sheets each night. Here we are expected to sleep under a used blanket & used duvet! So if you wish to stay here, bring your own sheets. Advice, book elsewhere.

Nothing at this place is likable.
Cons: We checked in and shown to our room. It was not what we expected as we had paid for an upgrade. Shortly after we were shown our room, the manageress came up and asked us for cash. Apparently a city tax although we had already paid that through Booking.com We complained that our room door didn't lock and the manageress assured us the room was secure. It was not, so we ended up carrying our valuables and passport with us on the first day of sightseeing. When we went out for dinner, we commented on the fact there were padlocks on some of the doors, which seemed odd. The next morning, when I went to have a shower, the shower tap was broken and grotty and there wasn't any hot water. The manageress tried to convince me there was hot water and we had a "discussion" for over an hour. I told her that hot water is mandatory, and without hot water to our room, we would be leaving and asking for a refund. She tried to get us to take a dirty room that had just been vacated. When I told her the rooms don't even lock and there is no security, is when she pointed out that is what the padlocks are for! Honestly, padlocks on the door of your room is not acceptable. Neither is no hot water with grotty showers and used toiletries. When I told her I was leaving, she burst into tears, pulled my arm and begged me not to leave. She said the owner would sack her immediately. Nobody needs this on Holiday. We moved to other accommodation. The owner refused a refund.

Well located in the medina - only a short walk from the Place Lahdim. Easy to find and to get to - the signs are easy to follow. Exceptional hospitality. Their chicken tagine is one of the best I had throughout my trip in Morocco (and they pulled it together with only an hour's notice). The area around the Riad is very walkable. I also loved the garden in their central courtyard. Definitely a place to relax and enjoy.

The facility is clean and actually much much nicer than it appears in the photos. The Riad staff were polite, kind, and professional, but we found the overall experience was not as welcoming as other places we stayed, all the lights were out in the main areas after 7, and the whole place felt very hushed early in the evening.

Hotel location is excellent, the most of touristic places are near by walk. We stayed just one night, but we can say that the staff is very friendly and helpful.Room was clean, spacious and comfortable but it had a humidity smell and door did not locked from inside, but this was not a big deal and did not ruin the night. If you visit touristic sites in Meknes and you have to pay, do not give your ticket back to anybody for any reason, just keep it, and always ask for your ticket at the window. Some workers resale the tickets and take the government money.

This riad is really beautiful and the room we had (suite) was big and clean. The bathroom was so particular and beautiful! Breakfast was good (bread, typical local bread and marmalade + coffee or tea and fresh squizzed orange juice) but could be improved with different products such as fresh fruit/cheese/etc The location is perfect: just one minute walking by Bab Al Mansour and with a beautiful view on the main plaza. I would defenetely recommend a stay in here!

We had to wait 3 hours for the manageress to arrive. The lady who opened the door could not speak English and had to phone someone to come and assist us. Although the Riad was tidy, the room we were to sleep in was like a dungeon with no windows, all the walls and bathroom were damp with the smell of mold. Anyone with the slightest chest problem would have been seriously sick. When we asked for another room, we were told that it would cost extra. A truly horrible place.

This riad is situated next door to the plaza and the big door. This make it very convinient. It is not easy to find you have to walk on the main street until you see a sign over your head. and then you need to follow it. The Riad balcon is actually over looking the plaza with a great view. Like I said a perfect location. We took the nice room with private bathroom with a big bath but the Riad water tank is not big enough to fill the bath :( The staff prepare a nice Morocco breakfast.

I stayed for 2 nights. Spacious room, spotlessly clean. Convenient location, nice roof terrace. Good breakfast. My only gripe was hassle over the price of a private taxi to Volubilis. We agreed a price in the evening then the next day when we paid a different woman tried to tell us it would be more expensive. Apart from that it was a great choice.

I stayed here this past weekend as one of two Riad's my family was in for my wedding. On the first night we booked an extra room last minute, on the second night I left and my sisters moved into the room, and on the final night I moved back and my sisters left. Though the guests were in flux, the service and cleanliness was not. Every morning they asked what time we'd like breakfast, the rooms were cleaned every day, and it was a wonderful oasis to relax and stage.

Little details like no soap for showering. Room came with half a roll of toilet paper and no extra one, this was a problem in the middle of the night! No one there to open the door for us when we arrived. Waited for quite a while and a neighbor was kind enough to call the person in charge for us. Other than that it is a beautiful property well situated. Could use a bit of upkeep and maintenance in the bathroom. TV did not work.

The staff, Zora and Nadir, with the help of a man [can't remember his name], are amazing hosts, and they keep a very clean environment within the riad. Zora is also a great cook! However the rooms require a good painting and some other improvements would be helpful, such as more lights and heating (nights get pretty cold). Not neon lights, of course. Yellow light is needed to keep with the style. Just add more. They did a very good job marking the way to the riad through the little alleys of the medina. You can have a petit taxi drop you off on the main street, and you'll get there in a minute.

Very atmospheric riad run by very nice people. In a bit of a rabbit warren of a location but central to the "sites" of Meknes...which are sadly few. Breakfast was typical Moroccan which means lots of varieties of doughy breads and some OJ. Excellent price for the room and service. Would not hesitate in suggesting it to a friend.

Every corner in this riad is decolated wonderfully with Moroccan Style ítems. In addtion to the beautiful interior design ítems , there are two turtles in patio! Dinning room is a miracle in cozy Arabian night touch. One draw back in my room on ground floor is fantasma sell of sewer.

The place is clean, close to the Hdim Square, close to shopping, nice sitting on the roof overlooking Hdim Square. The square has Wedding hall,if there is a wedding at night (usually weekends) it will be noisy until 5 am, so keep this in mind, breakfast simple and OK. This riad has 6 rooms total,4 downstairs and 2 upstairs. Main street is not far away, couple minutes walking distance, finding the place the first time can be little challenging.

Not very easy to find the hotel, but it's just next to the square, excelent location for sightseeing. Staff are quite helpful but not good at English. My experience in the hotel is good, I do recommend the hotel to travellers.

Great food, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect location overlooking Place Lahdim next to Bab Mansour make this lovely Riad a perfect romantic getaway spot. Not for people with cat allergies, however!

Well located in the medina, and near the square. Small courtyard, but very large and comfortable room. Staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Enjoyed watching TV in the lounge with the friendly resident cat. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace, over-looking the square, was fantastic.

Lovely riad in an excellent location. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful. The food is excellent as well...so good that I asked for a cooking lesson which they happily arranged. We went through the medina to get the ingredients and them back to the riad to make a delicious tagine.

I did not expect the place to be so cold. This appears a common problem in Morocco At this time of year and I was not expecting it. yes there was heatin g in the room but it would need to be on 24/7 to keep the place comfortable I subsequently met a Swiss group who had to give up on a riad as it was so cold and book into the Hyatt before they felt they would get pneumonia. THD COLD I suggest you advise visitors especially Americans who could not tolerate this level of cold. IN the Atlantic Hotel in Agadir, we had to request the heating controller and there was a slight reluctance to give it to us een though in all other respects that hotel was excellent In addition on arrival on our first evening, we asked the manager to suggest a restaurant. She suggested Sweet Sultana. When we arrived it was again freezing and when we asked for heat, they put on a Superser!!!! It was totally inadequate and with no other guests it was miserable,When we asked for dessert, they had none. My abiding memory of Morocco was he cold at night and it appears to be the general visitor experience. I suggest you warn future visitors

We travelled to Meknes in february. The Riad was nice, the personel was wonderful but at night the rum was quite cold. There was a gas heather in the rum. But for security you were not allowed to turn on the heather durintg the whole night when you were sleeping. AS a result of it ; it was very cold at night in the rum. (BUt this problem is not existing during summer time of course). Fellousia riad is very easy to find in the Medina and we can warmly rekommend it to others.

Cons: - very cold in winter - weak both wifi and 3G connection, basically no Internet in some rooms Pros: - friendly staff Personally disliked: - old/ moldy smell - hard to find/long narrow passages in the old town, pretty scary at nights - ancient styled bronze showers are very inconvenient for daily use.

Hard to believe that this Riad was built in 1364 and has been beautifully restored. It is conveniently located to the Medina but it was very hard to find due to the map provided on google was incorrect. The only thing I guess that I did not find good was the fact that we had to come up with cash in order to cover the expense at the Riad. Many travelers like my self make reservations before the trip and add our credit card info to book reservations. However for whatever reason the credit card was never passed along to the Riad. So make sure you carry cash money for any expense at the hotel. Overall I had a good experience with the staff and was pleased with the accomodations. I would stay there if I find myself in Fes again.

Riad Felloussia is situated in a fantastic position just outside the medina of Meknes. The staff are very welcoming and happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The riad itself has lots of quirky little corners, with good-sized rooms and well-decorated communal areas. It offers a great value place to stay for anyone visiting Meknes.

The map on the hotel website wasn't very clear until you had actually found the riad and knew what to look for. We arrived in the city in the dark and had some very nice policemen show us the way after we had given them the address. In the light of the morning we saw that there were signs posted on the way, but I don't know that we would have found our way in (navigating with bags) on our own in the dark. Our room was huge, and very comfortable, with a great shower, but no windows for natural light. The location was very central, great for stopping in and out throughout the day.

Easy to find, picked up a petit taxi from station and he dropped us off near their sign into the medina-not far to walk and signposted.Zohra is a lovely lady and her 2 helpers are both very charming and welcoming.Bedroom was spotless-roof terrace great to watch over the square at night.Sadly we did not eat in-but the menu looked fantastic and was all home cooked- will do next time!! Excellent breakfast -more than enough and all freshly cooked/prepared. Great shopping in Meknes.
