This is a beautifully renovated, very comfortable riad in the southern medina. Staff are friendly and helpful and manager Hassan was kindly and keen to advise--offering suggestions as to what to do and where to go but never pushing an agenda. We did take him up on a suggestion of a trip to a hamam and it was an excellent choice. Breakfasts were varied and large. This part of the city is slightly quieter than the northern area around the souks, and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. There are good restaurants nearby and some fascinating areas--the kasbah is close--as well as beautiful palaces to visit and mosques to admire.

Cons: I can't think of anything we didn't like. We had a fabulous time and this charming riad, its staff and its location was a big part of that.

We’re Americans who visited Marrakech in November 2025. The riad’s quiet location was a welcome contrast to the hustle and energy of the Medina. It’s beautifully decorated, with well-furnished rooms in traditional Moroccan style. The courtyard and rooftop sitting areas are peaceful and scenic, and breakfast was delicious, featuring local produce and freshly baked items. I can’t say enough positive things about our host, Houdaifa. He met us at our drop-off point—since transport can’t navigate the narrow alleyways—and walked us the short distance to the riad. He welcomed us with mint tea, provided an informative orientation to the Medina, and offered thoughtful recommendations for nearby restaurants and sights, all spot on. Each morning, he checked in to answer questions and ensure we had everything we needed, and he also arranged our transportation to our next destination. His team was equally accommodating and customer-oriented. An ideal host in a beautiful riad. Highly recommended.

Cons: Can’t think of anything to improve; the experience was exceptional.

On a adoré notre séjour

The riad was beautiful and peaceful, in a quiet street at the edge of the medina. We had two rooms which were decorated differently (one more modern, recently done, the other less so) but both charming and big, with plenty of furniture. Houdaifa and the staff team were incredibly kind, available at all times, and good with recommendations.

Cons: The water flow in the shower (room in the top floor) stopped a couple of times. I did not raise it with the Riad as we were already leaving but I should have, I am sure they would have explained or sorted it out.

There were four of us friends and we all agree: it's a perfect 10. Houdaifa is unbeatable, as is the rest of the staff at the riad. The entire accommodation, rooms, beds, décor, bathrooms, breakfast, terraces... beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, with exquisite attention to detail. The location is perfect, a 10-minute walk to the Medina and other places of interest. The staff adapt to your schedule to offer you the best service, advising, helping and pampering you. I would always return and recommend it at any time.

Cons: I can't say anything negative, everything was perfect.

Houdaifa and his staff did everything to make our stay in Marrakesh comfortable and enjoyable. He answered all our questions before our arrival (in our English language). He arranged for safe and convenient travel from the train station to the Raid. He gave excellent guidance on the area. The Riad is cozy, quiet and yet within a short walk to Jemaa al-fnaa and pickup points for our tour. Houdaifa and his staff really cared about our comfort and enjoyment of our stay in Marrakesh. Highly recommended for travelers of all experience levels!!

We had the most perfect stay here! The place is beautiful, staff super helpful and friendly, it felt like being with family. We had the family room and it was spacious and comfortable- large bathroom, one doube bed and two proper beds for our teens. We asked for airport transfers and dinner on arrival and they organised everything perfectly for us. Breakfast each morning was fabulous and generous and the one day we needed earlier, they did it for us no problem. Excellent location to walk everywhere and easy pick up point for tours. 100% recommended, we will stay again and already thinking when we can come back! Thank you to all your wonderful team!

The riad is everything you would want for a stay in Marrakech, i.e., a haven of peace, a place that offers a retreat into tranquility and calmness away from the mad and chaotic street life of the Medina. As is typical, the rooms are spread around a serene courtyard with a pool. Our room, for a family of four, was spacious, very clean, cosy, and the beds were comfortable. Everything is meticulously maintained and the riad's stunning design and architecture were tastefully complemented by the traditional Moroccan furniture and decor. There is a rooftop terrace with views of the neighboring El Badi Palace, the walls of which are almost within arm's reach, and were under restoration during our stay. The proximity of the palace, as well as the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, makes the location very good. It's about a 15 min walk from the riad to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Between the riad and the Bahia Palace, there are several places to eat; we had a good lunch at Cafe Mazel. On our arrival, we received a very warm and friendly welcome from the manager and host Houdaifa, who provided us with a map and many pointers to getting around and places to visit, as well as practical advice about safety and related issues. This put us immediately at ease and ready to start our visit in the best way. Throughout our stay he was always very helpful, kind and attentive, as were the other staff with whom we had contact, namely Fatima and Younes. We were served with a great breakfast to start each day, with fresh fruit and juice, coffee, pastries, bread, jam, and different Moroccan specialties prepared by Fatima. Overall we were really pleased with our choice of the Riad Maison Arabo-Andalouse for our accommodation and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone else planning a stay in the Medina.

Cons: Nothing to report!

This is my favorite of all the places we stayed in our 2 week tour of Morocco. The multilingual staff is the absolute best; offering advice on where to go and what to see complete with maps, buying spices for us in the market to ensure we paid an appropriate price, making reservations, ordering takeout for us one night when we were too exhausted to go back out and welcoming us “home” at the end of a long day exploring. We stayed in Nours, which has a bedroom, bathroom, private sitting area and private rooftop terrace, and enjoyed a few hours respite from the hustle of Marrakech each afternoon. Delicious breakfast is served each morning, fruit is always available and whenever we asked for anything the staff was happy to help. The RIAD is on a quiet street away from traffic but just minutes walk from the Bahia Palace and main sites. Don’t miss the opportunity to make this your home in Marrakech.

Breakfast was always welcomed and a good way to start the day. Staff was always over the top helpful. Location is excellent and easy to get to and a great jumping off point. Houdaifa was very helpful and engaging. He made the stay easy and memorable.

Cons: Nothing really. But there are no elevators and the stairs could be challenging for anyone who is mobility challenged. Also, the beds are very firm. Not an issue for us but again, some like a softer bed.

My group and I stayed for a quick weekend and had the most amazing time. Having never been to Morocco, we weren't sure what to expect, and to be honest were a little nervous. Houdaifa and his staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We had seamless transport to and from the airport, and he even offered to wake us up and walk us to the pickup spot for one of our early morning tours. The breakfast was simple but filling, the property itself is clean, big, and breathtakingly beautiful. A perfect example of Moroccan architecture and style. It is a short walk from the main square and close to all the best shops and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here as my group and I will definitely be if we ever get the chance to come back!

Houdaifa, the manager, and staff were wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make our visit memorable. Houdaifa was a font of information and helped us with reservations and tour bookings, along with giving us tips to make our trip even more enjoyable. When I told him that there seemed to be a cat trapped inside a disused building near the riad, he and Eunice, one of the staff, actually walked across roofs to make sure the cat was released. Now, that is literally going above and beyond! We definitely recommend this Riad and will stay there again on future visit.

We love this riad! It became our home-away-from-home while in Marrakech. It's just fantastic in all aspects. The location is wonderful inside of the medina and it's not a very far walk with your bags from where the taxi can drop you off. We arrived at night and they met us to help carry our bags and make sure we would find the way (which was greatly appreciated). Houdaifa manages everything and he is extremely easy to communicate with. He made lots of great recommendations, answered our endless questions, and entertained our children daily. Everyone else who works at the riad are so extremely helpful as well! Beyond this, the building itself is just beautiful inside. I feel like we admired the architecture and tile designs all over the city, but in reality, the inside of the riad is just stunning. Our room was fantastic with lots of space for our family of 4 and heaters in each room. We did not spend very much time on the rooftop as it was December/January and chilly for our Florida blood, but we did go up a few times during the day to see the view and admire the storks, as well as at night to see the stars. We hope to return to Marrakech one day and plan to stay here again! (Note, the pictures on booking.com don't do the property justice; it's so much nicer in person!)

Beautiful riad, great experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home. Having walked through Marrakech for 5 days we conclude that the riad is located in one of the best parts of the city. In the building you feel the past history with its different stories. Travelling solo for the first time, I was greeted with such kindness, love and respect. The owners of the Riad, Paolo and Kadir showed a genuine interest and have been so kind in their hospitality. A special thank you goes to Mohammed, a man of strong values anchored in love and compassion - he went out of his way to make me feel at home and showed me around the city on my first night. If you want to indulge in the depth of the Marrakesh, look no more than this place. Trust this review to elevate your experience in Marrakesh should you decide to make the right choice and stay in this beautiful home. With love, Mohammad Ali

Cons: There is nothing that I did not like.

staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. location was central for our sightseeing. Room that we had booked met expectations…clean, comfortable bed, private terrace. pre arranged traditional meal one evening was excellent and breakfasts were good and varied.

Cons: bathroom - shower didn’t function effectively.. very little water. heating/ air conditioning system was very loud in the nights. key issue for us was the fact that there was major work to replace sewers immediately outside the property - so access to the Riad along the small lane was dangerous. Plus the work was loud and created lots of dust. each day work commenced at 8.30 am and finished at 19.00 with the exception of one day when work continued till midnight! we were advised 24 hours before our stay that minor work was going on but… this was not minor work and we feel we should have been advised accordingly and given the choice to keep our booking or cancel. we appreciate that external work is outside of the Riad’s control but we should have been notified with more accurate information.

We had a frankly amazing time at Maison Arabo-Andalouse, everything is just top, from the beautiful decor, the excellent breakfast, even super fast WiFi (rare in our Marrakesh experience!) and most of all Gianpaolo and Mohamed who are fabulous hosts. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Marrakech. Lazy mornings on the terrace right next to the Badi Palace and the nesting storks there we'll remember forever!

Morocco generally--and the medinas of the cities especially--can be a challenging cultural experience for Western travelers. The staff at Maison Arabo-Andalouse made our family feel like we were guests of their family. The facility embodies the elegance of an earlier time; just what we were seeking in Marrakech. But the staff and owners are so much more than that. Just steps from most of the major sites and the hubbub of the souks, MAA is a welcoming sanctuary where we would've loved to say longer.

An oasis of calm and beauty in the kasbah. Mohammed and the staff went out of their way to help us enjoy Marrakech including restaurants, places to see, a hamman, organising taxi to and from the airport. The private terrace adjoining the living room was a lovely place to rest in the sunshine after a day’s wanderings.

The hosts were wonderful and made us feel very comfortable about our travel plans. They arranged our travel to and from the airport. Once we arrived they discussed our plans while in Marrakech and made additional suggestions, made dinner reservations for us, and even called our guide companies to confirm our tour arrangements. The breakfast and afternoon tea were fantastic and be sure to take them up on their offer to dine on the beautiful terrace. Our daughter summed up the stay perfectly … as we left she said it felt as though we had been house guests of dear old friends. We highly recommend.

This is a fabuleus and amazing Riad. The Riad has a meditarian autencic style with and Marokkon and jewish influences. We loved the room we had with the terasse with view to the patio. The breakfast on the roof was very nice. The personal and the owner did their outmost to help us in al kind of questions we had. The owner told us a lot about the history of this Riad which enjoyed to luisten to. This is a very speacial place and i hoop to return to this place some day.

The owner Mohammad and his family were extremely welcoming and accomodating - helping out with maps, restaurants and transport. beautiful location - piece of calm paradise in chaotic Marrakesh. The Riad is really elegant with lovely rooftop terrace. my room had an amazing private terrace - loved having a wine there in the early evening! great location too - 10 mins easy walk to Djemma El Fba where the markets are and minutes from from many restaurants, shops and saadian tombs. 10 min drive to airport. breakfast was great and different each day. highly recommend

Cons: no negatives. Great experience

We stayed for 3 nights. The riad is lovely, our room (bahia) was a nice size for a couple. Nicely decorated, comfy bed, and hot shower! The owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. The terrace was a nice place to relax, especially fascinating was watching the storks nesting on the adjoining badii palace ruins. The location is perfect. I thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in Marrakech for Christmas 2019 for four nights. GianPaolo and Mohammed were really helpful with the arrangements around our stay. They organized a pick up from and shuttle to the airport. At the Riad the futher staff Younes, Fatima and Zahra were always really nice and forthcoming with just about everything. Our room itself was on the upper floor and had a nice rooftop where we could sunbathe during lunch time. The riad itself being quite close to the main attractions like Mellah, Jamah el Fna and the Baadi palace for instance, was really quiet. In December it can get really chilly at night and in the morning. But we had a heater in the mail living room and bathroom and an AC that can heat in our room. One day when we got back from a day trip to Casablanca late in the evening, Younes even pre heated our room, which was awesome. Breakfast with fresh Orange juice and great marmelade and Morrocan style Omelette for instance was always really plenty and very delicious. When we left very early for Casablanca they even prepared a take away bag for us und arranged a cab from the street so that we don't pay more than necessary. All in all we really had a great time at the Riad Maison-Arabo-Andalouse and can deeply recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place not too far from the main attractions with great staff. Thanks again to GPaolo, Mohammed, Fatima, Zahra and Younes.

Mohammed, the riad host, could not have been sweeter, nicer and more accommodating. 1. airport pickup easy. They messaged immediately after booking to set up and had driver waiting for me with a sign in my name. Van was large and held all our luggage. 2. Checkin was easy with mint tea and cookies. Mohammed gave us a map and showed us where to go and to eat. He also insisted on carrying luggage to room. 3. room was large and quiet and cool. had an AC and heating unit. We were there in cooler rainy November, so option for the latter was nice. room also had large private terrace overlooking the courtyard. 4. Breakfast is served in dining area, but when I asked for coffee in my room, the whole spread was delivered to our room. Strong coffee, juice, fruit, croissants, pastries, bread, local jam, and “pancakes”, etc. 5. Every time we left, Mohammed made sure we knew where we were going, how to get around, and had his info just in case. He was like a dad in a good way. He genuinely cared about us, yet didn’t make us feel judged for coming home late after a night out on the town. 6. Location was perfect. 5-10 min walk to souls and main square and all tourist attractions. I even went running. What to know: It’s not resort style. Accommodations are more than sufficient, but not luxury. Minimal ammentities. WiFi is unreliable. When it works it’s great, but don’t depend on it if you need to get work done.

We stayed here for three nights and it was the best place we stayed all trip. The Riad is gorgeous, the room was amazing, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place can be a little hard to find at first (the street it's on doesn't load correctly in Google Maps) but the staff were extremely helpful and the owner came out to collect us when we were dropped off from our desert tour, which saved us having to find it at night. The location is great, it's right next to the main palace (in fact you can view the walls up close from the Riad's roof terrace) and the main square and souks are only a 10-15 minute walk away. We will definitely be staying here again when we are next in Marrakech and would recommend it to anyone!

I booked Maison Arabo-Andalouse last-minute, and I was a bit nervous as I've never booked a 3 star hotel in Europe/Africa before (I travel internationally for work and fun, and I'm a bit spoiled!). Turns out my nervousness was entirely unfounded - this was one of the best stays I've ever had anywhere! The location couldn't be better, the riad itself is like something out of a movie, and the service is unlike anything I've experienced before. Staying here is like learning you have an eccentric uncle with a FABULOUS riad who's been sending you invites for years that all got lost in the mail - that is actually how Mohammed treats you on arrival. After insisting that I relax and enjoy some mint tea, he immediately arranged a fantastic guide, PERSONALLY WALKED ME to dinner every night (and adorably waited up until I was "home"), found me a cosmetics store when I realized I'd lost my makeup, and miraculously packaged my enormous shopping haul into something the airline would check. The thing about Marrakech is that it isn't so much a place as an experience. It's exciting and mesmerizing and overwhelming and amazing, but it's full of unwritten rules and hidden gems that are incredibly difficult to navigate the first time around without an insider who really cares that you have a magical trip. Are there more modern/higher end riads in the medina? Yes. Can you find a place with 10% "fancier" decor? Yep. Are they worth it? Not a chance. I'd take Mohammed and his riad every time!

This was my first time in Marrakech. When I arrived in the city I felt it was very intense. Mohammed the Riad Manager sensed this and made sure that my stay in Marrakech was a wonderful one. He made sure to offer services to me that he felt would make it easier for me to get comfortable in his city. He arranged my transfers to and from the airport since I had very odd flying hours. He made sure that I didn't have to put any money in the hands of the drivers or other vendors, as he took care of it completely for me. He also arranged two places for me to have dinner, a horse and carriage ride, hammam appointment, and got me a really great personal guide. On my first night Muhammad even had to come find me in the city as I had gotten lost. That was a great relief! I really appreciate Muhammad and his staff for all of their help while I was there. What's even better is I don't speak French nor Arabic, only English, but Muhammad and his staff and I were able to communicate well. I appreciate their patience. Lastly, he put me me in a room at the very top of the Riad. It had its own beautiful patio and it was very well appointed. The suite was clean and comfortable. The bed perfectly firm and it had its own individual AC that worked very well. He also made sure that my breakfast was served there on my personal patio if I wanted. I really appreciate the team there again. It was a beautiful stay. I would come back again and bring my family and friends.

We had a great stay at this Riad. The location is amazing - right in the heart of it all, yet quiet. The staff was super helpful and friendly and truly enhanced our stay with their friendliness and helpfulness. They booked a session at a hammam for us that was quite a treat. We could explore the Medina and come back to cool down or rest anytime, it was so convenient. There was a miscommunication and the staff were under the impression that one of us was handicapped, so we were given a the first floor accessible room. I would say that the other rooms on the higher floors (which we saw) were nicer, but if you are handicapped they will go out of their way to make sure you are accommodated! Our room stayed quite cool without a/c, but they have them available if you need it - that is a bonus in the hot climate of Marrakesh.

Staying at the Riad was one of life's special moments. The building itself is so beautiful and historic whilst the teams only wish is that you have a fabulous stay. Nothing was a problem for the staff and they went well above and beyond all expectations to make my stay with them enjoyable. The Riad itself is perfectly positioned to avoid getting lost on your way back to it. I've previously stayed in another Riad where I got lost several times. Abigail thank you to all the team

Was advised to phone ahead to and have taxi driver speak with hotel. When we arrived Mohamed met us and took our bags and guided us the short distance into the medina where the Riad is located. Once there the service was nothing but exemplary. We were tired but wanted lunch close by. No problem. A tasty lunch was made up and delivered to our room. After a rest Mohamed showed us how to get around in the surrounding walking streets. Breakfast was delicious and served where and when we wanted. Our room was a mini suite with terrace. Very exotic, to us, decor with comfortable bed and roomy shower. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Maison Arabo- Andalouse. Also it is well located in the medina to most of the tourist sites which a previous house we rented (and loved) wasn't which had us lost in the medina more than a few times. At the Maison it was easy in comparison to find our way around.

My partner and I spent 4 days at the Arabo-Andalouse - it truly made our fist visit to Marrakech a special and memorable one. The location was 5 minutes from the souk yet the Riad was situation in a quiet alley so it was perfect for us. The most remarkable point that made all the difference was the personable service and hospitality we received from manager Mohamed and his wife. No request was too much - the attention to detail and thoughtfulness made us feel extremely spoilt during our entire stay. The Riad was clean, organised, with good wifi and air-conditioning and the room was very spacious. We especially loved having a home cooked breakfast every morning on the rooftop surrounded by beautiful plants and a great view. If you're looking for an authentic Riad with a personal touch and excellent service - I would recommend the Arabo-Andalouse

If you want to experience authentic Marrakech at its best, stay at this Road. Old world to the core (there is no television) this place will be known for owner Paolo's attention to details and information about Marrakech, manager Mohammed Janat taking care of all nitty-gritties and Fatima's yummy breakfasts - cheese omelettes and crepes are to die for. It is very close to Medina and Jemma all Fena. Only two disappointments: they don't serve lunch or dinner and the bathrooms should have more modern amenities. While it is old world, there is a very good free WiFi in the rooms. And the air conditioning works too.

This was our first time in Marrakech and we didn't quite know what to expect. What a great welcome we got from GPaolo and his staff. Nothing was too much trouble - even arranging for me to visit a dentist having broken a tooth while flying out! Recommendations for eating, places to visit and trips to take helpfully provided by GPaolo; and all proved reliable. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight, and we enjoyed an excellent full Moroccan meal one evening in the riad, provided by the staff. The staff took care of us to the extent of one of them waiting on the street corner - on one occasion for a couple of hours - just to make sure we got back to the riad safely at night! Helpful tips on local customs including how to handle bartering in the souks. Excellent value all round.

Our family of four stayed at the riad for four days during the month of August. We traveled with our two children (8 & 9) and stayed in the family suite, which was not only beautiful, but also roomy. The entire hotel was immaculate (even the bathroom in our room was beautiful & clean). Our room also had air conditioning and wifi. Since we were there in August I just want to point out that the hotel has a plunge pool (although small, we were very grateful for it!) The raid was close enough to the main square to walk, but far enough to have a quiet's night's sleep. Also, we were able to do laundry for very cheap. A large laundry bag cost us about 200 dirhams ($25). A great breakfast (including fresh fruit, coffee, tea, croissants, fresh bread, jam, etc..) was served beside the pool every morning. Mohammed attended to our every need and made us feel like family. The raid would not have been the same without the attentiveness of the staff.

First the pro's: Maison Arabo Andalouse was very well located for all the of the main attractions (5-10 mins walk away from the main square and Souks). Additionally, Mohammed and the other staff were incredibly helpful. Mohammed really went out of his way to ensure that we found the right places and you could not have been a nicer host. Room is large, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is fine. Now the cons: We did not find the Riad to be particularly comfortable - with cold floor and dull lighting - very difficult to find your room at night. We had booked for 3 nights but left after 1 as it did not meet our requirements of comfort (the shower and bathroom were cold and overall the room felt very basic), not really what we were expecting. The pool is also only available in the summer months and is small. I liaised with Paulo who was in Italy but responded to my emails. This is an ok Riad - but not value for money. For the same price, you can stay in pretty decent 4* hotel which is more comfortable/superior. Although, the hotels tend to be away from the Medina (20 min walk or short cab ride away).

One of the smoothest trips we have had from being met at the airport and driven to hotel through to checking in, receiving a welcome traditional Mint tea and shown to our room. Paolo and his staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. We felt very at home and would happily have stayed longer if we could. Everything was just as we had seen and read and we would recommend this Riad for anyone to stay in.

The day after booking we were emailed by the owner to ask about our flights and introduce himself. We continued our email correspondence right until departure, arranging airport transfer and looking at some tour options. We were met as arranged on arrival and taken to the Riad in a small road in a back street within a few minutes walk of the Badii Palace (the top floor of the riad has a view of the ruins) and 5-10 minutes to the Jemaa El Fna square. We were given tea and biscuits on arrival, shown our rooms and explained the procedure for locking the doors, heating etc. The room was very impressive - a huge private terrace, the bedroom, shower room and a lounge. It was all tastefully decorated and furnished in the Moroccan style. There were plenty of plug points for charging laptops etc but the wifi didn't reach our floor. However the views and terrace more than compensated for that! Paolo could not have been more helpful - any time we wanted to visit somewhere, be it an attraction, somewhere to eat or an excursion, he was on hand to help and advise, as well as providing endless glasses of mint tea! Everything - service, price, breakfast, decor is excellent. Paolo and his staff are, without exception, superb - friendly, courteous and helpful. We had a brilliant meal on the last evening, cooked by Fatima and served by Paolo - a delightful ending to a memorable stay.

Our flight was delayed so we didn't get in until very late. Mohammed met our taxi and rolled our bags to the hotel and showed us to our room. We were starved, so Mohammed walked us to the square to get a bite to eat in the cold, rainy weather late at night! The next morning he gave us suggestions and instructions of places to see, a tour of the riad which is gorgeous! Breakfast was included in our price, though it was sparse, yet great with fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, bread, butter, apricot and strawberry preserves and bananas and oranges. Something warm like eggs would have been greatly appreciated. To their credit, the last morning our bread was still warm because we had to eat it very early. They only speak French, Arabic and a limited amount of english so communication was challenging at times. Even so, we plan to return later in this summer. We recommend this riad!

Well-located in the centre of Marrakech but far enough from the hustle to feel like an peaceful haven. Our room exuded Moroccan charm with beautifully carved wardrobes, lanterns, tiling and romantic lighting and made us feel like royalty. GPaulo and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we felt welcome and safe in a city that can be intimidating for those without experience. We only had a couple of days and their suggestions for places to visit and eat were invaluable to make the most of our short stay. The room was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning / heating worked brilliantly and there was an excellent shower with endless hot water. We managed to spend just a short time on the terrace but found it a welcome spot to retreat with a book and appreciate some sun. GPaulo ensured everything was arranged for our onward journey to the mountains, even calling the hotel to check the booking and arranging for them to send a taxi to pick us up at a very reasonable price.

Maison Arabo Andalouse was a beautiful Ryad, but what really made the stay was the little man running it! Mohammed was AMAZING!so helpful so kind and generous - really made our stay what it was. We were trully looked after and the Ryad was in mint condition and very homely. The neighbourhood was fairly quiet and a bout a 5 minute walk from the main square. We prefered that as we got peaceful nights sleep. Once again,. THANKS MOHAMMED!!! Shukran!

The Riad is a traditional Moraccan house built around a courtyard with a plunge pool and garden. It is superbly decorated and furnished, it is an oasis of calm and tranquility in the midst of the madness that is Marrakech. The staff are friendly and hospitable, nothing is too much trouble. Your host Paulo is knowledgeable about the city, the sights, where to eat and drink and goes to great lengths to ensure you enjoy your stay - far better than any concierge service I have used in large hotels. This riad is highly recommended for its location, style and comfort - I will be going back!

A lovely riad in a great location in Marrakech Really helpful owners who go out of their way to make your stay in the city as interesting and informative as possible and ensure nothing is too much trouble. Home made breakfasts of fresh fruits and breads. The riad is in a very small passage but minutes from the main square and adjacent of the Badi Palace but is so peaceful and quiet.

After a bit of confusion on the part or the taxi driver (he clearly did not know where to go) we were greeted at the front door by Mohammed. He ushered us into a gorgeous central courtyard and served us tea and cookies while we filled out the obligatory forms. He was a fountain of knowledge and made sure to ask us about any specific requirements we had. He even scheduled a time to show us how to get to all the major attractions from the hotel and made sure we knew where we were going. His recommendations for tourist sites were impeccable and he told us how much items SHOULD cost when we were haggling in the markets. He then went to the trouble of booking our train tickets for our departure because since we were travelling on a holiday he worried that they might be sold out. The Riad is beautiful....has an amazing view of the storks at the Badii Palace and is well located. A short walk to the Djemaa el Fna (the main square) as well as other major tourist sites within the Medina, it is also far enough away from the night time noise that you get a wonderful relaxing get away. We will definately return to this Riad for it's prime location, beautiful rooms and of course the BEST SERVICE we received in Morocco. I would sleep outside on the roof just to have that service again.
