Très bon emplacement sur bel environnement de la ville. Joli patio. Très belle terrasse panoramique bien aménagée (piscine de la taille d'un jacuzzi). Booking nous a proposé un surclassement en tant que client nous avons donc choisi la chambre de base pour obtenir une plus spacieuse suffisant pour nous, ce qui fut fait lors de notre arrivée avec un réceptionniste accueillant. Chambre et surtout salle de bain extrêmement propre.

Cons: Mur de la chambre ornée de belles lézardes déjà rafistolées où on pourrait passer le doigt. Je n'ai jamais vu une penderie aussi ridicule en plus pour une chambre ""luxe"; un petit triangle dans le coin du mur derrière un fauteuil ou on peut éventuellement accrocher, de biais 2/3 chemises. Une ampoule d'une des 2 lampes de chevet changée à la va-vite extrêmement aveuglante par contre une applique murale ne fonctionne pas. La télé orientée vers le plafond et la fenêtre et non pas vers le centre de la pièce avec une chaîne allemande à priori car pas d'explication, pas de notice. Mesdames si vous mesurez 1,60m et moins abandonnaient l'idée de vous maquiller dans la salle de bain car le miroir est placé trop à cause du mitigeur du lavabo surdimensionné. Battant en verre qui sépare la chambre de la salle de bain coince contre le plâtre du mur. Personnel du restaurant pas très agréable. Les plats ne sont pas bien cuisinés, quel que soit le plat De plus au dessert, une glace qui est ni liquide ni consistante mais qui s'effrite avec des glaçons ce qu'il est le témoignage de la chaîne de froid rompue! Pas bon au goût ni pour la santé. Petite précision à part: une publicité à l'hôtel montrait un tour de 4h pour visiter Volubilis nous avons opté pour cette solution le lendemain. Un chauffeur francophone correct mais pas très loquace qui en son temps avait été G.O maître nageur au Club Med, ok ben, moi aussi.. Au retour après avoir visité le site + la ville d'à côté nous lui avons demandé de nous laisser directement à la gare. À l'arrivée il nous a demandé un supplément car c'était soi-disant plus loin! je suis habitué à des demandes ayant voyagé partout dans le monde mais là vraiment offusqué! Sur tout le périple kilométré il n'y avait aucun préjudice ni de temps ni de frais supplémentaires. De plus le chauffeur avait été libéré plus de 20 minutes avant les délais prévus.

Le rapport qualité prix est très correct, bon accueil du personnel. La restauration sur place est de qualité, bon couscous finement parfumé. Nous avons pris l'option Hammam marocain pour deux, expérience sympa à tarif correct. L'hôtel propose de réserver des "grands taxis" pour faire des excursions en dehors de Meknès, nous sommes allés à volubilis et Moulay Idriss, nous avons apprécié et les tarifs sont donnés avant la réservation donc pas de surprises.

We had a pleasant stay. The small rooftop pool was very welcome and refreshing during the hot summer days. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons: The holder for the handheld shower in the bathroom was broken (Sherazade Room). This needs to be repaired, and the bathroom door scraped against the floor. These were small details but easy to fix. Perhaps this can be brought to attention. Tip: more variety for breakfast over the days.

Bajo nuestro punto de vista se pueden mejorar las tortas tradicionales. La habitación muy bonita y el baño de 10. Cama extragrande muy cómoda. El personal pendiente de cualquier detalle y siempre con simpatía. Valoramos la piscina y el espacio de la terraza que es un buen premio después de un día caluroso. Cons: L'insonorisation de la chambre est très mauvaise à cause des fenêtres. On entend fortement la circulation mais aussi les discussions des voisins lorsqu'ils sont dans la salle de bain. Il n'y a pas de rideau opaque dans la chambre des enfants donc ils sont réveillés tôt par la lumière. Le frigo n'est pas très performant.

Ottima la posizione, pochissimo distanza da Bab el Mansour e dal Mausoleo di Moulay Ismail, appena fuori dalla medina con estrema facilità di parcheggio, vicinissimo se non fronte all'alloggio. La Riad di per se è grande, pulita e bella, ha sicuramente visto tempi migliori e qualche riammodernamento la renderebbe perfetta. Il terrazzo con la piccola piscina è uno spazio graditissimo per momenti di relax nei caldi pomeriggi estivi. La colazione è completa con prodotti freschi e viene servita nella saletta al piano terra, elegantemente apparecchiata per chi volesse cenarvi. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. We hadden moeite met het vinden van een taxi (die het adres begreep), het personeel heeft daarom het adres in het Arabisch op een blaadje geschreven. Het ontbijt was erg lekker.

Cons: Er liepen mieren over het bed. Toen we aankwamen zagen we 2 verdwaalde mieren maar ook toen we wakker werden zaten er 3 mieren in het bed. Ook is het gek dat er een raam bij de douche is waar mensen van buiten naar binnen kunnen kijken. Je kunt dit niet afschermen, als er mensen naast zitten voel je je bekeken. Ook krijg je geen flesjes water op de kamer.

Moroccan hospitality is well known and appreciated. However there's an exception to every rule and this place has been unfortunately the exception in our journey accross the country. Upon our arrival a young lady offered us a tea with reluctance while she was apparently managing the paper work for our stay. After some good twenty minutes she came back to rudely inform us the room would be ready in twenty more minutes and disappeared, not before answering my question about the possibility to enjoy the pool in the meantime with a sore sentence stating the pool was not available that day although it' d be the day after. We assumed that was not true as it indeed turned out later on. When she finally came back after 30-40 minutes more, she announced the room was ready, so we took our 3 pieces of luggage plus several travel bags, and our four-year old, ready to take the stairs up to our room, without any intent to help from her side and finally thought that after an hour we were able to take a rest, she rudely demanded me to pay the whole stay. I was surprised and loaded with our luggage, and remembered myself I had guaranteed the payment with my credit card so suggested we could maybe go to the room and pay afterwards. This terrible request frpm my side only deserved the following response: here things are done like this. No doubt. That's why we won't come back, even if the rest of people there were nice to us.

Nette riad met parking (plein) voor de riad. Je hoeft enkel de parkeerwacht te betalen. Vriendelijk personeel. Alle comfort. Centraal gelegen. Nu zijn er vele restauratiewerken bezig in de stad (medersa, bab el mansour), waardoor er vele bezienswaardigheden niet te bezichtigen zijn. Meknez is op dit moment minder interessant om te bezoeken. Lawaai van de straat 's avonds (wegens de dunnen luikjes), eenmaal 's nachts is het wel rustig. Dit hoort er bij. Levendig plein om de hoek (place el hedim), mausoleum van Moulai Ismail,

De ligging is gunstig voor bezoek aan de stad. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid. Je kunt je auto voor de deur op het plein parkeren tegen betaling. Ondanks dat het midden in de stad ligt is het er 's nachts rustig. We waren er maar voor 1 nacht op doorreis.

Cons: De routebeschrijving via Booking.com klopt niet. Die stuurde ons de medina in en we kwamen ergens anders uit. Niet handig met de auto in die steegjes. Geef het adres in via Google maps en je komt bij het grote plein uit !!

Ruime kamer, comfortabel bed, ruime en schone badkamer. Alles exact zoals omschreven. Vriendelijke hosts. Ontbijt op het dakterras kunnen nemen, wat erg fijn was. Op het moment zijn ze bij de riad naast wel flink aan het verbouwen. Moesten de ramen goed dicht houden ivm stof. Ook op het dakterras erg stoffig. Kan de accomodatie niets aan doen uiteraard, maar goed om te weten als je op korte termijn boekt. Verder niet veel overlast van gehad. Overdag wat lawaaierig, maar ze beginnen niet voor 08:30 was onze ervaring.

Cons: Waterdruk in de douche niet erg consistent. Verder nergens iets op aan te merken. Fijne riad!

Während unserer zweiwöchigen Marokko Reise mit diversen Unterkünften war dieses Hotel das schönste von allen. Der großzügige Innenhof und die wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit kleinem Pool waren das Highlight. Von der Terrasse lassen sich die zahlreichen Störche und Stare beobachten. Das Zimmer ist großzügig, hat sehr bequeme Betten, ein sauberes Bad mit heißer Dusche (das ist in der Preisklasse in Marokko eine Seltenheit). Das Frühstück ist sehr ausreichend und das Personal sehr herzlich. Wer möchte kann auf der Dachterrasse zu Abend essen. Wir haben ein anderes Restaurant gewählt, da wir kein Tajin mehr essen wollten. Die Medina ist nur einen Katzensprung von hier entfernt. Ich kann jedem hier die Übernachtung sehr empfehlen. Für diejenigen, die mit Auto anreisen, die Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Tür. Es werden auch Massagen und Hamam angeboten vom Hotel.

Cons: Die Liegen auf der Dachterrasse sind ziemlich hart und es gibt nicht genug Polster für alle Liegen. Das Wasser im Pool ist nicht beheizt, das kann im November etwas kalt für den einen oder anderen sein. Das ist allerdings auch das einzige, was es zu kritisieren gibt!

Modest looking on the outside, this riad is tastefully decorated inside, calm, and pleasant. And, it is in an excellent location for walking around Meknes. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the ones with rooftop seating. Very nice, helpful staff. There is a parking lot just outside the riad. If the taxi driver isn't sure, call and ask the staff to explain where you should be dropped. We stayed in one of the superior double rooms at the end of September, 2024. The room was not overly large and it did not have outside windows, but the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and fresh. Good small soaps and packets of shampoo provided daily. (Using the lower shower head kept the water inside the shower.) Breakfast was served by pleasant waitstaff in a very nice dining room. As in most riads, breakfast was tasty but carb-heavy. The coffee was excellent. We had dinner one night on the roof. We took our own wine. Good food and a pleasant view.

Cons: No one wants to hear their partner using the toilet. No one. A proper bathroom door should be installed, along with a bathroom vent/fan, and the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom should be up to the ceiling.

Het hotel is net een oase, ligt net buiten het drukke stadsventrum. Een plek waar je tot rust komt. Net voor de deur een ruime parkeerplaats waar het personeel ook behulpzaam is. Het personeel can het hotel is ook onwijs vriendelijk. Het dakterras met een klein zwembad was een toevoeging. Het ontbijt was ok. Verwacht niet te veel. Wel mooi ingerichte binnenplaats die ook gebruikt wordt als ontbijtruimte. De kamer is voor ons groot genoeg. Het is een traditionele riad met heel veel decoratie. Mooi ingericht.

Cons: De badkamer is wel aan onderhoud toe. Hier en daar stoffige en minder goed bijgehouden stukken waardoor het ook onhygiënisch oogt. Ook omdat de deur van de badkamer niet helemaal dicht kan, komt de vocht de kamer in. Het bed vonden wij minder comfortabel. Zelfs met de airco kan de kamer (in de winter) best koud zijn.

Cons: Chambre (#12) du côté route très bruyante (klaxons, gens qui hurlent, motos). Les nécessaires de salle de bain sont vraiment rudimentaires, voire manquants (un savon-shampoing de la taille d’un échantillon, pas de kleenex). Pas de wifi dans ma chambre le premier soir (mais le problème a été corrigé le lendemain). Pas de bouteille d’eau offerte dans la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner strictement identique chaque jour (mêmes raisins, même yaourt à la vanille, même confiture, etc.) et avec des produits bas de gamme (pain blanc, thé Lipton industriel, un fromage blanc industriel, etc.).

A beautiful looking riad in a great area however it lacked the friendliness that all the other riafs we've stayed at offered. The female manger who greeted us was lovely, unfortunately the male manager on the evening and next morning shift was gruff, unfriendly, unhelpful and intolerant of guests children. No greetings or farewell and he didn't offer or assist us with carrying our luggage downstairs. His attitude changed the whole feeling of the place. Such a shame as I couldn't have faulted anything else except the beds are very hard and dinner although nice, quite pricey. Hopefully the owners see this review and do something about the manager.

Nota molto grave, arrivati al check out non era possibile pagare con la carta! Questo non va bene.

The common area was quite nice and they served a great breakfast.

Cons: Our room was small and cramped, and did not correspond to the pictures we saw when we booked. The small pool is in full sun all day and does not have a water circulation system, which means that it was extremely chlorinated.

Cons: Plaatsing handdoekhouder tegenover toilet was ongelukkig waardoor ik hier onzacht mee in aanraking kwam met het hoofd.

Quarto espaçoso e limpo com uma casa de banho grande e boa. Terraço com piscina muito agradável apesar de ser pequena e pouco profunda. Pequeno almoço completo. Jantámos uma noite no restaurante e gostámos muito.Pessoal simpático. Estacionamento junto ao Riad. Boa localização para conhecer Meknes a pé.

Cons: O quarto apenas tinha uma janela que dava a um pátio interior, pouca luz natural. A maior parte dos monumentos visitáveis estavam fechados por obras de restauração.

L'accueil du personnel et du gérant super attentifs aux moindres souhaits. Super petit déjeuner et souper on y mange très bien , la petite piscine olympique est très agréable après les visites. Séjour super agréable 9 ans après la première visite...on n'attendra plus aussi longtemps pour y retourner...

De locatie is super, personeel is uiterst vriendelijk, mooie kamer en een lekker zwembadje op het dak. Ontbijt is ook heerlijk!

Cons: De Riad zelf kan er denk ik weinig aan doen maar er waren veel mieren. Ik had een zakje snoep 's nachts op de plank onder de tv gelegd, redelijk afgesloten zoals ik dat thuis ook doe, en de volgende dag waren er duizenden mieren. Verder was er op onze eerste dag iets van een feestje dus veel lawaai. Het is er erg gehorig dus als iemand langs je kamer loopt en praat hoor je dat goed 's avonds/'s nachts. Tweede dag was het veel rustiger en hebben we meer kunnen genieten.

Superhyggelig personal som vartet oss godt opp. Servicen var super. God mat, og fine rengjøringspersonal. Hamamspa var godt. Vår venn ble syk på tur og da var personalet ekstra hjelpsomme med å finne mat og drikke hun kunne spise. Vi er så takknemlige for oppholdet vårt og velger gjerne dette hotellet på nytt. Vi fikk god hjelp til bekledning til bryllup og det var stas å få låne leppestiften til Esme (veldig fin farge også)!

Cons: Vi mislikte meget sterkt at airconditon ikke fungerte som lovet. Den ble stilt inn på 18 grader, men det ble aldri kaldere enn 28 frader på rom noe som medførte svært dårlig søvnkvalitet og mengde slvn

Nous avons passé 3 jours magnifique avec ma famille dans ce Riad. L'emplacement est très bien. Le personnel très accueillant, chaleureux et soucieux de notre bien être. Riad magnifique et la cuisine très bonne. Je recommande vivement, très bon rapport qualité/prix. Encore un grand merci à Nordine.

Me da pena que no recuerde el nombre de la chica que esta en recepción, fue muy amable y muy guapa siempre con una sonrisa dispuesta ayudar(Debí dejarle propina se lo merecía pero en ese momento no tenia dinero en efectivo).. Es la mejor persona de todo el hotel.. La habitación era grande y maravillosa, me encanto, unas ventanas grandes que da al paseo y ves la ciudad.

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft im Herzen von Meknes. Die Zimmer sehen aus wie 1001 Nacht. Das Frühstück ist bombastisch, besser geht nicht. Man startet mitten in Meknes, 5 min von der Medina entfernt Das Personal ist super freundlich, wer da kein Trinkgeld gibt, hat kein Herz. Die Dachterrasse mit Pool ist super chillig. Sofort buchen!!!!!

The hotel is in a great place in Meknes, within easy walking distance of everywhere you would want to visit. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but beautiful, bed was a little uncomfortable as it was in two distinct pieces.

Das Riad liegt direkt an der Medina, hat aber den Parkplatz vor der Tür. Das war unser Wunsch, nachdem wir uns vorher in der Medina von Fès ziemlich verirrt hatten. Die Möblierung und das Bad waren modern, was uns nach einigen traditionellen Unterkünften sehr erfreut hat. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse ist eher zum Planschen, aber die Terrasse und das Riad sind sehr schön angelegt. Das Frühstück war toll, frisch und sehr vielseitig.

Cons: Wir haben im Riad zu Abend gegessen, es war relativ teuer und hat uns leider gar nicht richtig geschmeckt und mein Mann war danach etwas krank.

Bel hôtel avec salon et patio bien agréables. Seul point négatif : le lit de notre chambre était collé contre le mur, ce qui oblige l'un des deux occupants à se livrer à un exercice de gymnastique pour en sortir ! Pas vraiment pratique s'il faut se lever pendant que l'autre dort !!

Le personnel est super sympa et attentionné...1 vrai Riad ! ça change des imitations. Là on est vraiment relax et comme tout le monde est sympa et souriant ....tout va bien. Nous recommandons sans problème. Cela fait plusieurs fois que nous y allons. Aucun souci. On recommande le tajine Kefta et le couscous végétarien..1 délice.

De locatie is goed, je loopt meteen het centrum in. Ruime kamer met mooie moderne badkamer. Het ontbijt was heel goed, overdadig gewoon. Je moet wel van zoet houden. In de buurt ook restaurant waar ze alcohol serveren.

Cons: Wij hadden kamer op begane grond en dat kan wat gehorig zijn. Het zwembad boven is heel bescheiden te noemen maar wel fijn dat er ligstoelen zijn. Het 1 persoonsbed had wel heel hard matras.

Riad centrale con ampio parcheggio pubblico proprio davanti. La nostra camera al primo piano era un pò piccola, ma adeguata per la sosta di una notte. Vicinissima la medina e le principali attrazioni. Bello il terrazzo. Colazione nella media. Il basso punteggio è per la pessima cena, altrimenti potrei dare 7

Cons: Non cenate assolutamente qui! Ho ordinato un tajine di carne macinata (polpette) ed è arrivato con la carne ancora congelata! E' evidente che hanno piatti preconfezionati che scaldano al momento nel micro onde.

Sehr herzlicher, freundlicher und gleichwohl professioneller Empfang. Das Riad hat eine sehr zentrale Lage, Abendessen im Riad war vorzüglich. Das Frühstück wurde uns auf die wunderbare Dachterrasse serviert. Wir genossen die Aussicht, die gepflegten Pflanzen und den kleinen Pool. Die Lage ist äusserst ruhig. Lärm kommt zeitweise vom öffentlichen Parkplatz neben dem Gebäude.

Cons: Nichts zu beanstanden. Dafür dass in Meknes alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gleichzeitig saniert, restauriert und erneuert werden und demnach alle geschlossen waren, kann das Hotel nichts.

Super nice and comfortable room, great breakfast. Very nice view from the terrace and the staff was very nice and helpful. During our stays in other riads sometimes there was issue about smell from the bathroom but in this riad they managed to block this very well and we didn't have any issue.

Un Riad bien situé, beau, avec des chambres spacieuses. Un parking payant existe devant le riad. Le diner a été bon, avec des salades en entré, une tajine poulet comme plat et un dessert. Nous avons la "mal chance " de tombé pendant le salon international de l'agriculture, donc beaucoup de monde partout et un concert devant le riad qui a duré jusqu'à minuit...

Cons: On nous a vendu un massage complet avec gommage, masque pour le visage, enveloppement avec argile et nous avons eu pour 1 heure le gommage et massage dans un petit cagibi...

+ location was really good, close to the Medina + we could easily park our motorbike in the public parking lot in front, and it was safe for 2 days + the Riad itself is really nice, very peaceful in the middle of an agitated city + breakfast is ok, typical marocan, nothing special

Cons: - our room was not the greatest, it had street view and it was really nosy at night. We were hearing the trafic through our plugs - the bathroom din not have a ventilator, all the humidity was in the room generating am unpleasant smell and constant humidity - the hot water for the shower was not working unless you opened the sink faucet at max hot water - the room was small, but we booked a standard room, not sure if the other ones are better

A good stay; great housekeeping staff; good breakfast (included). Centrally located. Friendly service. Room we stayed in was Ok. Comfortable rooms. Clean . Overall may needs some renovation/sprucing and attention to details. For example- No international channels on Cable. But for the right price I would highly recommend it.

Wunderschönes "Riad" in bester Lage. Die Besitzer und das Personal sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird serviert und ist hervorragend. Nur ein paar Minuten von der Medina entfernt. Ideal gelegen für einen Ausflug nach Azrou und Ifrane.

We had a lovely stay! Such a nice Riad! Location was very good. Big rooms and beautifull decorated. Staff was super friendly. You can book trips with driver from the Riad. Diner was excellent. Roof top terrace to relax with little pool. Breakfast very nice. We recommend the Riad!!

Cons: They definitely didn't give me the room I booked. I paid for comfort which is more then the basic lead in room and 100% I was put in the worst most basic room. It was not in any of the pictures, it made awful sounds at night you couldn't sleep like a constant rumble and bang. Plus it's on terrace with no curtains on bathroom windows ect so people at pool can see you naked in the shower. Breakfast was basic.
