Everything was beautifully kept. The interior rooms and the shared areas and the pool and rooftop were just stunning and absolutely delightful.
Cons: The beds and pillows werenât our favorite. The mattress was hard and the pillows were hard, which made it difficult to sleep. But these things are always a matter of opinion.

We didn't do breakfast but had dinner at the Riyad on 3 evenings, in spite of all the choice of restaurants in the area we preferred the hotel where you could pre order on the day from the menu and enjoy the cool courtyard, to be honest I didn't see any other restaurants I wanted to eat at. Something I think is worth pointing out as many hotels there mislead travellers, this hotel serves alcohol (Beer) and offers good quality bottles of wine (extra charge) with dinner which we took up on the roof terrace to finish, the other big plus is all the rooms have a mini fridge. All these Riads are tucked away down alleys sometimes quite labyrinth like, don't be put off by that, if you have any concerns you can ask the hotel to send someone out to meet your taxi and guide you in. The staff were brilliant and helpful, we doubtfully asked if we could get some tea in the afternoon, English tea arrived with a small jug of milk and with little pastries bordering on petite fours, absolutely brilliant.

The location is perfect for exploring the Medina but itâs also easy to get to other interesting sites. The breakfast on the terrace was fresh and delicious. The riyad is really beautiful with several different and peaceful areas to relax. The pool was a bonus with very hot weather. We had dinner in the Riyad which was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We were in a lovely room but be mindful there were narrow and winding stairs to get to it. Our luggage was delivered to our room by the very helpful staff however so that was not a problem.

Staff were wonderful. The hotel location is incredibly quiet, even though it is a 2-minute walk from the souk. The roof terrace was wonderful and is a very strong positive for the hotel, perfect for sunsets. Great small pool for hot days. We had a very enjoyable dinner at the hotel. The design of the room was perfect. Would very happily stay again and recommend to family/friends
Cons: Wi-Fi is slightly patchy (due to building design/thickness of walls). But the Wi-Fi speed was extremely quick when close to a router.

Brilliantly located just a 5 minute walk from the main square. An oasis of quiet and tranquility in the bustling city. Staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble
Cons: Pool is in a courtyard that doesnât get any sunlight so itâs freezing cold. Bed wasnât very comfortable and we lost power to our room 2 out of 3 nights.

I cannot recommend enough this Riyad. It is beautiful and comfortable, but even more, the staff was super helpful and kind. This kindness was not only given to us as guests but to any people that we ran into at the market place (they were so polite that the walked us through the streets a couple of times so that we could find some places). It was an amazing and heart warming experience.

Great communication. Host/ess and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were received on time at the airport by the driver and greeted and escorted from the square the the Riad smoothly and without delay. A beautiful excursion to the mountains was arranged by them.
Cons: Breakfast during our 4-day stay was delicious, but options and variation in the food would have been appreciated.

Nice place, nice people working there. Rigth at the center, at the city, lovely roof area. Great breakfast But if you a not clear you are gonna get the expensive solution. Simple dinner, trusting the chef not to strong and with out koriander, ended up being a 4 course meal. If you are booking a ballon trip its cheaper, going with getyourguide, same for a trip to ait ben haddou

The staff could not have been more helpful. They were good with a friend who had mobility issues which had not been anticipated before the holiday. The staff met us at the nearest point in the old part of the Medina to which a taxi can come and took our luggage. They were happy to book tables at busier restaurants and even show us walking routes. This Riad is lovely with an interesting history and a great collection of historic artefacts. We would strongly recommend it for any able bodied traveller as it has lots of stairs and quaint low doorways

The place has a nice view from the roof terrace. There are some nice artifacts and breakfast is good.
Cons: The cleanliness in the main reception could be improved. The hotel can feel a little tired- suited are beautiful but i was not aware that we would not be given the full suite with living space when i booked as i had the previous stay. Staff are lovely but the main host could be friendlier and more attentive/upbeat in her communications.

The owner of the riyad was so lovely, really attentive and proper. The facilities were good. Even though our room didn't have air conditioning, they put in a powerful fan. And because it was so hot, they even brought us an extra fan without us asking. I like to sleep with two pillows, but there was only one, so I made do with what I had on the first night. When they cleaned our room, they brought an extra pillow. They even made us breakfast earlier than usual because we had to leave early. Overall, it was an amazing experience and really made our holiday. I would definitely recommend it.

Traditional Riyad in the Medina. The food was excellent and presented incredibly well. The staff couldnât do enough - especially Said - who stands out and is a perfect gentleman and goes way beyond the expected to please.
Cons: Needs a little TLC but need to remember that the city suffered from the earthquake last year - so repairs are ongoing. To reach Riyad El Cadi, you need to walk approx 150m from the Souk and whilst perfectly safe - can look a little intimidating. We had no issues whatsoever.

Beautiful old Riyad. Stunning architecture. Brilliant locations. Staff were brilliant. Very attentive.
Cons: I think it was about the actually lay out. It at so quiet there that you can hear a pin drop. Problem with that is that you can hear everyone and it disturbs your sleep. Last night there were a group of Swiss guys outside my room in the courtyard talking really loud and smoking hash till 1am so impossible to sleep. The issue with the rooms is that if they were normal hotel rooms they would be more sound insulated etc. Also my room had a window with no curtains so the light from the outside blares through flooding the room. On numerous occasions I had asked to turn the outside lights ofd as they were left on to sometimes you 1:30am in the morning. Itâs a lovely old style Riyad but if youâre a very light sleeper then ask for a room away from the courtyard. My room was in the ground floor right next to all the noise and activity.

The Riad was nice and quiet even though it was central to all the bustling markets and squares of Marrakesh. A perfect place to stay to explore the surrounding areas. Good accommodation and good sized rooms. The best part of the place was Said who made our stay there memorable. A very kind, knowledgeable, humble and helpful man. A true asset to the Riad and all it has to offer. Went out of his way time and time again to help make our stay perfect. Thank you.

The riad and the room were beautiful. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. And the food and coffee was excellent. My only negative was the location - its a trek down countless back-alleys and doesnt feel super safe walking alone at night, though it is well lit. Not something that can be changed - and they did send a porter to meet the vehicle and carry the bags - but something to be mindful of.

this property is simply brilliant. it felt authentic, and the public areas were extremely thoughtfully curated. we dined here and the food was good. the location is also very handy for the main square. eating breakfast in the terrace overlooking the roof tops of Marrakech was lovely. I must mention khalija, who was front of house and ran the place with great efficiency and confidence, extremely helpful and considerate. also mention to Hassan who looked after our every need when we dined there.
Cons: not much TBH. we stayed in the master suite, which gave us loads of space, though if I was looking to criticise the layout for the bathroom was a bit strange, you had to go through it to get to the bedroom, and the furnishings/ cupboards in there were dated.

Staying at the Riyad ElCade in Morocco was an exceptional experience that felt as if I was being transported back to traditional Moroccan life and culture. From the start, I was welcomed by friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by gorgeous architecture that gives off a sense of wonder and mystery. The accommodations were perfect for a relaxing getaway, with all the amenities you would expect from a top-notch resort. The room service was excellent and always available when needed. The beds were comfortable, and the staff did their best to make sure every need was met. The highlight of my stay was the 4-course dinner in traditional Moroccan style that was served each night. Each course represented a different region or style of cuisine, ranging from Tagine cooking to Berber cuisine. But what really stood out were the fresh ingredients used to create each plate - succulent vegetables, tender meats, and exotic spices made each meal unique and special. Even better were the homemade touches such as hand-rolled couscous and freshly made breads that truly captured the flavor of Morocco's culinary heritage. Overall, my stay at Riyad El Cade was exceptional - from its stunning location to its impeccable service and delicious food, it truly provided an experience like no other. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation in Morocco!

A fantastic place very close to the madness of the city providing a oasis of calm and quietness. Being built from 5 adjoining houses there are narrow corridors and staircases but that just adds to the character of the place. Central gardens dominate the spaces around the rooms with several lounge areas to relax in. A stunning roof top terrace provides extensive views ove the city and the Atlas mountains beyond. Service is exemplary and nothing too much trouble. Will certainly recommend and return.

First time in Morocco. Arrived at the airport as planned and the car arranged by the hotel was eagerly awaiting our arrival. Took us straight to hotel no fuss, This place was like the Tardis. First impression Looked small from outside but as you go in the hotel triples in size. Had a very friendly and informative host Khadija, Map given to us with a complimentary drink on arrival. the workers were also very friendly and would happily assist whenever asked and always offered to make a drink every time we went exploring the hotel. the room we stayed in was amazing and the WIFI also was great. It was also bang in the centre of the old Medina and the famous marketplace outside our door place. Everything around us was walking distance and if we needed to go further taxis were readily available. Thank you Khadija, Marwan and Badar for always being available to answer any questions and providing useful information about activities. Would highly recommend this place, And when I visit again InâShaâAllah this is where Iâll be staying. Thank you for a great visit and experience.

Though my family and I have traveled around the world, the search for a Riad felt very challenging due to many Riads not accepting children and lack of riads with rooms that could accomodate our family. We finally found Riyad El Cadi which had larger rooms (Ottoman Suite, Master Suite, Blue House) and decided to book given the great reviews. I can say without hesitation that this turned out to be a wonderful decision for our family. Riyad El Cadi is very well situated for navigating around the medina. It is impeccably clean and well-maintained. Service is top notch - we had a few hiccups due to things perhaps getting lost in translation, but anything we arranged through Julia or Khadijah was perfect. Lastly, they upgraded us to the Master Suite from the Ottoman suite and the size was perfect for our family of 5 (three children, 10, 7 and 2). We had our own private patio as well as a minibar and private rooftop terrace. If you are traveling to Marrakech with a family (or not), I cannot recommend this accomodation enough. Thank you, Julia, Khadijah, Karim, Said and everyone for making our stay so memorable that it feels like a delightful dream. The Khan family hopes to see you all again someday insha'Allah!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of the Riyad El Cadi. The Riyad is situated directly in the middle of Marrakech right next to the bustling markets, itâs a great place to explore this amazingly interesting city. On arrival at the hotel rather late in the evening the Riyad provided us with a beautifully home cooked Moroccan meal which we ate in the lovely surrounding of the Riyads courtyard. The breakfasts on the roof terrace were also especially delightful.
