The staff are all exceptional, very friendly and eager to help. All professional and very welcoming. We were traveling with a 2 year old and at some point I ran of nappies. My husband was at a work conference at the time and I wasnt comfortable going to supermarket myself as I noticed crossing the road can be quite tricky at times specially with a toddler. The reception and door man staff offered to buy the nappies for me and the door man visited several shops to try and obtain the exact ones I needed. Always going above and beyond! Rooms are clean and spacious, food was wonderful. Kids club was exceptional, huge space with variety of activities, toys and clean bathrooms.
Cons: Minor points really - sometimes water wouldnt be replenished in our room, some of the laundry wasnt washed properly and still smelled though they quickly rectified this once we brought it to thier attention.

Sehr angenehmes, freundliches Ambiente. Wir hatten die Junior-Suite mit Aufmerksamkeiten im Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab ein sehr groĆes FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cksbuffet, das man im Freien genieĆen kann. Das Fitnesscenter ist sehr gut ausgestattet.
Cons: Dass es den GƤsten am Pool gestattet ist zu rauchen. Wenn man direkt daneben liegt, wird man durch den Rauch belƤstigt.

Nous l'avons signalĆ© Ć la rĆ©ception, il nous a Ć©tĆ© rĆ©pondu que le service d'Ć©tage viendrait mettre un sur-matelas. Le problĆØme a donc l'air d'ĆŖtre connu.. il serait peut-ĆŖtre temps de changer les matelas ! Concernant le Spa, mĆŖme constat. La prise en charge par la praticienne est d'une telle rapiditĆ©, sans intimitĆ© pour se dĆ©shabiller, qu'on est bien loin du moment de dĆ©tente recherchĆ©. Encore une fois nous sommes bien loin des standards internationaux et des standards BarriĆØre. Je passerai sur les cocktails commandĆ©s Ć la piscine qui arrivent aprĆØs le plat casiment terminĆ©, dans un verre rempli pour moitiĆ© et presque imbuvable. C'est Ć se demander ce jour-lĆ s'il y avait un barman sachant les faire alors que la veille ils Ć©taient excellents. Pour finir, notre vol Ć©tant Ć 18h nous avons demandĆ© Ć conserver la chambre moyennant supplĆ©ment bien sĆ»r et la rĆ©ceptionniste a refusĆ©. Raison, la chambre est en arrivĆ©e...alors que la veille elle nous prĆ©cisait que l'hĆ“tel n'Ć©tait pas plein...aucune envie donc de faire un effort pour la satisfaction client. En conclusion, hĆ“tel plus que dĆ©cevant pour un Ć©tablissement BarriĆØre alors qu'il en a le potentiel et que je ne conseillerai Ć personne vu l'absence de qualitĆ© des prestations.

Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll, dezent, die RƤume grosszĆ¼gist (unser āNormalzimmerā hatte 46m2 und zwei BƤder), das inbegriffene FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cksbĆ¼fett vielfƤltig u frisch. Und dann die Entspannung am Pool, gepflegte AtmosphƤre, grosszĆ¼gig. Als letztes: das Personal, der Service - so beindruckend, weil leise, zugewandt, aufmerksam und freundlich- wie wir es in Europa kaum noch kennen - ganz ehrlich: wir hƤtten auch eine 11 vergeben.

I was very disappointed that we stayed at hotel & Ryads after our stay at Sofitel. My friend had wanted to try this hotel out but it was disappointing. When we got dropped off, the doorman did not help us with our bags, greet us or tell us where to go. We asked him where check in is. Then after checking in at 3- we had a tour booked at 3:30 and wanted to get our luggage in our room before but no one brought it up until my friend went down at 3:20 to get it herself. The room was nice but turn down service wasnāt comparable- not really much except closing the curtains and placing a bottle of water next to the bed. The restaurant is dated- looks quite old and thereās nowhere Iād want to spend time in the hotel (thereās an indoor lounge). We did enjoy the spa and the gym. There is a nice steam room and pool. Overall, I wouldnāt stay again.

Perfect combination of quiet yet close to the new part of city and old town Medina. Lots of restaurant and cafes all walking distance. We stayed at the Naoura for a week over half term. This is a good hotel however I struggle to accept the 5 star rating. The service was at time chaotic and confused. We had two rooms, one a nicely refurbished suite and the other a three bedroom Ryad which was looking very tired. We had a constant battle to get complimentary water, had to chase for toilet paper and to get room service plates etc removed after use. All this despite spending Ā£1000 per night for the Ryad room alone. The SPA pool is in desperate need of refurbishment with some electrical fittings hanging loose in a wet environment which was a worry, as children are allowed in before 1pm. The outdoor pool is very nice, the hotel location is brilliant. Amine in reception was always trying to help. The staff in general were always pleasant and tried to help but I fear lack managerial direction.

Cons: Rooms are poorly insulated, windows onto the balcony are old and lock themselves when closed while being outside. If you are travelling alone, you may be forced to shout for help outside the hotel balcony hoping a member of staff will be there to help and let you back inside your room. Breakfast is not as good as it should be for an hotel of this level. Bathrooms (Shower and Sink area) do not have doors.

The end of the trip we had a suite, which was exceptional. As for the staff...courteous, friendly and helpful. The location was great, just a short walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and into the medina. Breakfast was good and the dining areas, both inside and outside, are very comfortable. I would definitely return to this hotel should I return to Marrakech.

The pool was super clean and the towel boys provide plush, thick, new towels. The service at this hotel is second to none. I would say the service here is as wonderful as any Mandarin Oriental hotel worldwide. We had room 225 overlooking the pool. Gorgeous spacious room with a king size bed. East straight 10 minute walk to the famous market/souk Jemaa el-Fnaa. The location is the crossroads between the modern Marrakesh and old Marrakesh. The location is 10/10. The hotel is perfect for a family vacation and can be very romantic and sexy for a coupleās getaway. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service overall. The restaurant had delicious and affordable breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are big and comfortable. We did the couple spa massage and it was excellent. The location is also great. Walking distance to the tourist attractions. We used the taxi service in town to avoid walking a lot and it was affordable and easy. There is no Uber. We also used the hotel transportation which was a little higher than taxi but worth it. Overall I totally recommend it. 5 star hotel services

I stayed at this property for five days and stayed in a four bedroom raid at $820 USD a night. With prices like that you would think youāre getting five star service and top notch accommodations. That was not what we got. Instead we found a dead cockroach, left dish from room service for three days, and an air conditioning system that broke down every night. One night it was so hot we had to go to the front desk at 2am and see if someone could come fix it. The bathroom also had a moldy and sewage smell to it and the floors were completely filthy itās as if they didnāt mop the floors in a while or do any type of deep cleaning in a while. In terms of service it was lacking, when ordering room service on the phone they never got the order right. They would come to the door one or two time to retake the order and still get it wrong. Their restaurant price are expensive but food was delicious. If youāre going to spend this type of money Iād say stay at the four seasons or Nobu.

Super locatie, Medina goed bereikbaar. Ligt net buiten het centrum waardoor je geen drukte ervaart van het centrum. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Sfeer in hotel is goed. makkelijk te bereiken vanuit de airport. Het zwembas is supergoed verwarmd : 28 graden heerlijk om in te springen en vrij groot 20-25 meter lang schat ik. Erg comfortabel. Ook voor kleine kinderen. De kamers zijn fraai en warm ingericht veel ruimte, fijn balkon. deurklinken sanitair netjes. Hoewel de fitness ruimte werd verbouwd hebben ze vervangende fitness ruimte gemaakt. Waarschijnlijk is fitness ruimte volgende maand klaar. (zie onder)
Cons: Belangrijkste wat tegenviel waren de bedden: wij vonden ze te hard. Het personeel heeft het opgelost door twee dekbedden op de matras te leggen. Door de houten vloer heb je snel zand binnen. Het handig om af te spreken met houskeeping om dagelijks te dweilen. De fitnessruimte werd helaas verbouwd, Wel hadden ze vervangende fitness gemaakt: hardloop, fiets liggend en fiets gewoon; trilplaat en dumbbels tot 5 kg. Er was een fitness trainer aanwezig die je kan helpen. Fitness bank.

The property was wonderful and the perfect size/amount of guests. The pool was amazing with the perfect sunbathing area. Breakfast was good and we had option of having to our room as well which we did a couple of times. The location was ideal, close to walk to most places and we only got taxis if we were eating out at night time. We often had lunch at the hotel pool restaurant which was lovely also and relaxing atmosphere. The only thing I would have to complain about is the AC in the rooms, we weren't sure if this worked properly and both My mum and I had a stuffy nose/sore throat in the mornings. Overall staff couldn't have been nicer & the rooms/facilities were perfect and I will definitely be back!!

Fantastic and clean hotel. We traveled as a family. Had a great time during our stay. Hotel had a Great swimming pool, hamam, beauty bar. There is a small kids club but my kids were not interested and would prefer the swimming pool. Staff were super friendly and present. The hotel is great it the city is ok. Maybe itās somewhere you want to visit once!

Iām beyond disappointed in my stay with this hotel. First of all the rooms were boiling at night, we asked if we could have assistance with the AC( I assumed it wasnāt working) as it was so hot at night, we were told there is no AC in this hotel. We then asked how about a fan? The reception staff laughed and said no madam no fans and hung up. We booked treatments at the spa and were told we have to pay in cash only or no treatments. So we booked one treatment for the same day as we had the cash for that. This should have been a simple wash and blow dry. My sister attended the appointment after swimming expecting a wash and blowdry. The hairdresser proceeded to blowdry her chlorine filled dirty hair. She asked can I have my hair washed please itās full of chlorine. To which she was told I donāt do washing and tried to carry on blow drying her hair! When at breakfast, we would sit and wait to be addressed, noticed or have our orders taken. We would see tables with 3 staff to them but ours was empty? No idea what the prejudice was here but Iāve never experienced it so. Was very disgusted by it. One night we ordered room service, the online menu in the welcome pack wasnāt working. So we went to reception to ask for a menu. They said they donāt have any. So we went back to the room called the room service option, told them and they said we only have the following. Which were limited options very limited, it wasnāt even late at night but no apologies for any inconvenience.

Cons: AC was inconsistent and didnāt work for the first day. None in breakfast restaurant either. We were promised our parents would be looked after for the day they were there themselves but they were asked to leave the room earlier than agreed and had to stay out in the heat for the whole rest of their last day. No response when I emailed my complaint. Had to ask at least twice or remind again when ordered something at restaurant or to the room. Considering itās a small boutique feeling hotel, there isnāt a lot of personal feeling or understanding of their visitors.

We rented a ryad in a 5-star hotel which was expensive. We naturally expected luxury level accommodations. I'm sorry to say that this wasn't the case. Our ryad was due for a renovation. In terms of service the staff was friendly but sometimes things would take a long time. For example, both the light bulbs in one of the bathrooms were out and we had to ask for them to be replaced two days in a row, for it to finally get handled.

the ryad was beautiful with incredible furnishings hotel resto was decent albeit I got a dodgy stomach from a meal one day the location is the best thing though you can walk pretty much anywhere in marrakech within 20 mins
Cons: Wi-Fi was terrible all the way through, service was patchy apart from when you complained and the manager got involved who was incredible by the way - really went out of his way after the issue happened to make sure we were happy. but fix the Wi-Fi honestly a 5* hotel like that to have poor Wi-Fi is not good enough - just couldnāt work there all the way through the trip

This is an excellent 5 star hotel in a great location very close to the centre of Marrakech. The rooms are very large and beautifully presented. The central swimming pool is great and it was a delight to stay there. However there were 2 significant issues: 1) The air conditioning was turned off for winter. The rooms were warm 23deg at night and this was too hot for comfortable sleeping. When I pay ā¬400 a night I expect to be able to control the room temperature. 2) The noise transfer from the room above was completely unacceptable. Every foot step on the hard floor above, was heard directly below. The occupants of the room above returned each night at 1am and walked around their room for 30-60 minutes before finally going to sleep. This woke both of us up each night and in not acceptable for a hotel of this quality and price. Overall an excellent hotel that is let down by 2 serious issues. If these issues are resolved we would be delighted to return.

We stayed for a week and had a great time. The hotel is centrally located and very welcoming. The food was very good, if a little limited in the evening, but that didnāt matter as there were lots of places to eat. However the best thing about the hotel are the staff, who are brilliant! Very professional but also very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return

The hotel is excellent. Location is perfect walking distance from Jemaa El Fnaa. Room are spacious and very clean. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choices. The staff are very professional especially Karima at the front desk. She is very kind and very helpful. It was my birthday, she suggested to my wife to make a surprise. She decorated our room and send us a birthday cake. It was an amazing surprise. I will definitely come again to this hotel very soon. Thanks a lot to all the staff.

Beautiful upscale and spacious property a nice walk to the medina. Amazing breakfast buffet and really good coffee. Servers all very friendly. Little bit of a mix up with our room as we had our first night as part of a tour and extended two nights through Expedia. Had to change rooms after Day 1. Would have rather they put us in the room we could stay in for three nights right away.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights at the Hotel and Ryads BarriĆ©rre Le Naoura and had a wonderful time. We were personally greeted by the manager Hicham Halquani. He warmly welcomed us and surprised us with an unforgettable upgrade! The rooms were very spacious with fresh flowers, bottles of water, and fruit provided. The closets were very large and provided ample room for our clothes. The sizeable bathrooms had both a shower and bathtub. The terrace overlooked the pool and was quite roomy. The oversized pool and lounge chairs were quite refreshing as it was over 100ā each day. We had breakfast each day and the food was amazing! Omelets were made to order, there was a wide range of fruits, pastries, breads, cereals, yogurts, fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee, and of course-mint tea! The location is ideal on a quieter street a few minutes walk to the main square Jemaa el-Fnaa where the you eat and shop in the fouks around the square. The staff made our stay very special and made sure we were always comfortable. The concierge Amine was always available and had answers to any of our questions. We would love to come again to Marrakech and stay at Le BarriĆ©re again and would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We can as strangers and left as family. Because of the world class hospitality at the Barriere Le Naoura, Marrakech will always have a special place in our hearts!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, the staff were so helpful. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, there was a huge choice & it was all delicious. The hotel was very clean, the staff were attentive. The only small drawback was that the drinks were extremely expensive but you are in luxury surroundings!

We visited the hotel for our first trip in 2 years and to celebrate a birthday. We were not disappointed - the staff immediately made us feel welcome (even sending a cake to our room) and the whole trip everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We made use of all amenities, including the spa for a great massage. We would have liked service around the pool to be a little more available but appreciate it was busy at times. Otherwise couldnāt fault. Highly recommended (worth mentioning this seems popular with families). A good or bad thing depending on your situation!

The property is very well Managed! The grounds are exceptionally designed with awesome plants all around the property. Due to covid lockdown, the night life was too quite. Their breakfast was excellent. The staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The charge for coffee in the room was not acceptable. They charge 30dhms for each coffee pods (nespresso). Great location and wonderful hotel. Definitely coming back.

Location is excellent especially when travelling with children. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is kept very clean, and the staff are willing to help- although I must say I didnāt agree with people reserving their sun loungers first thing in the morning then not using the till later in the day. We ate in all three restaurants and the food is very nice- I would suggest making the bar restaurant Or eating areas non-smoking as it ruins the experience of being in there. Children's club seemed friendly enough although we didnāt use it. Beds were comfortable, nice size rooms. Spa was good- kids can use between 9-12. I had a massage which was good. The location is perfect to walk to the markets, souks etc- not noisy and the doors are good enough to keep the nose out. I would stay here again.
