The location is great. It’s one of the very few Riad style hotels that a car can pull up at the door. Most other Riads you have to walk with your suitcase for quite a way. And the location is great for the medina and outside the medina as it’s on the edge. Lastly, it’s Riad but more like a hotel. So you get quite an open space with sunshine by the pool area, gardens and rooftop. Lastly the staff are lovely. Kind, funny and attentive.

Cons: Nothing really! Only thing is sometimes it’s hard to get a bed by the pool to sun bake. But that’s about it!

We had a wonderful stay at Les Jardins de la Médina. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and full of charm, and the pool and gardens are the perfect place to relax after exploring Marrakech. What truly made our stay special, however, was the team. From the Front Office to the restaurant, Housekeeping and everyone working behind the scenes, we were always welcomed with genuine smiles, kindness and outstanding service. Everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to the Front Office team, who were always available to help us with information, recommendations and anything we needed. C’est la 4e fois que je viens , j’apprécie le cadre ravissant avec son jardin magnifique , la belle piscine , le personnel d’une grande gentillesse du personnel , et en particulier Zouair Amane du restaurant et Khadija la masseuse adorable du SPA

Cons: J’ai trouvé que la nourriture au bord de piscine et la qualité des plats au restaurant avait beaucoup baissé par rapport à ce que j’ai connu qui était délicieux . Le Club sandwich était immangeable , pain brûlé et rassis , dedans des restes de bout de fromage avec des bouts de laitue . Je l’ai donc rapporté au serveur qui ne me l’a pas fait payé . Quant au couscous de la mer , c’est une montagne de semoule avec plein de champignons ! on cherche le poisson , 2 crevettes et 2 bouts de calamar immangeables.

Cons: Burde vært regler for å spise ved bassenget. Var en familie som fikk levert mat fra Mc Donalds som de spiste på solsengene. Både barna og de voksne gikk også rett ut i bassenget etterpå uten å først ha vasket hendene. Så lenge hotellet serverer mat med egne sitteplasser i restauranten ute, burde det ikke vært lov å spise på solsengene, uhygienisk. Personalet sa ingenting på dette selv om vi gjorde dem oppmerksom på disse gjestene.

The pool and gardens were a beautiful oasis. The breakfast options were amazing! Room was clean and comfortable with very good quality air conditioning, which was very needed in the summer heat. Location was quiet but still within walking distance to great restaurants and attractions. Gym facilities were good and the dinner we enjoyed there was really amazing. The staff were always so friendly and professional. We also had a lovely welcome, with delicious Moroccan treats, some refreshing cool drinks and flower petals in our room to celebrate our honeymoon.

Cons: Only suggestion would be to supply some water in the gym area and maybe a fan, as working out in this area was pretty hot. But in saying that it was such a beautiful spot to exercise looking out over the garden.

Un plauso speciale va alla cucina: si mangia benissimo! Ogni piatto è stato una delizia, con materie prime di ottima qualità. A fare la vera differenza, però, è stato il personale: sempre disponibile a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta con un garbo e una professionalità rari. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati dal primo all'ultimo minuto. Consigliamo assolutamente questo hotel per un soggiorno totalmente immersivo in questa bellissima città.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens to relax it, especially by the pool which is big enough to swim in. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk through the medina to the main square. An oasis of calm from the noise and hustle of Marrakech. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice and lovely to eat lunch or dinner in the shade of the garden. Rooms have every amenity.

Great value for money. Service and staff were very friendly. Beds were comfy and water pressure good. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was a good spread. Good location as well - on the edge of the Kasbah and walkable to centre without being very busy and chaotic.

Le jardin est formidable. La piscine e très agréable. Le restaurant très agréable à part le nombre incroyable d'oiseaux qui essaient de picorer dans nos assiettes. Vraiment très gênant. Le personnel ne voyait même pas que les oiseaux se servaient sur le buffet du petit déjeuner. Pas très appétissant et surtout hygiénique et dangereux au vue des maladies qu'ils œuvrent provoquer.

Cons: Malheureusement je pense que nous avions la chambre la moins bien placé car elle donnait sur le bar et le restaurant et les fenêtre étant assez ancienne, le tout faisait que c'était assez bruyant jusqu'à minuit. Mais cela n'a pas empêché que nous passions un merveilleux séjour.

The hotel is beautiful, with a great location about a 25 min walk from the main square. The staff were particularly excellent - extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons: Compared to other 5* hotels we’ve stayed in, we felt this hotel was over priced. The TV in the rooms is quite small, and I felt the room didn’t reflect the pictures online - online it showed open fireplaces and a much more spacious area, whereas our room had a small seating area with a sofa. The bed was also 2 single beds pushed together - although there was a mattress topper connecting them, it’s still quite uncomfortable and not what we’d expect when booking a double room. It was also our honeymoon so not ideal. There was also no iron in the room, and we had to call reception who offered us a steamer - this took much longer than an iron would have done which meant we were rushing to get ready. Breakfast options were good, and the food was delicious, however we had to ask for the egg station to be opened on 2 mornings as there were no staff manning it (despite breakfast being open) which was a hassle. Overall, a good stay but not value for money - we’d expect more.

The rooms were really spacious, beautifully done up and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of space to unpack which is often overlooked. The shower was powerful and the bathroom was well laid out. The breakfast was fantastic. Beautiful pool and gardens and the tortoise family were regularly entertaining.

Cons: We ordered room service and left the tray outside our door, it was still there two days later until we asked to have it removed. We asked for our children to be close to us, there were on the same side of the hotel but not close at all. Their room smelled of sewage.

The whole experience was exceptional from the start to finish. The staff could not help enough, especially when it came to dealing with the gluten intolerance, providing freshly made and tasty gluten free bread at every meal. Cons: Rygning. Jeg undrer mig over hotellets rygepolitik. Der måtte ryges/vapes ved både poolområdet og restauranten, hvilke var til stor gene. Hotellet har så mange små områder, hvor man kan trække sig hen for at ryge. Vi var der på et tidspunkt hvor en gruppe røg cigarer hvilke chikanerede alle omkring poolen. Der blev ikke taget hensyn til de familier med børn der var der eller nogen af os andre. Det samme var gældende i restauranten hvor man sidder og nyder dejlig mad omringet af et selskab på 6 som oser på deres cigarer. Dette er desværre et kæmpe minus

Everything! This hotel / Riad was perfect for our 3 night stay. Delighted we stayed in an authentic Moroccan accommodation. Situated a 15 minute walk from El Fnaa Square, it is a welcome oasis of calm after a day exploring the vibrant city. Breakfast was outstanding and staff could not be more helpful. We had dinner on two occasions and it was really good. We also enjoyed a hammam treatment in the hotel spa - fantastic way to end a trip to Marrakech.

I wanted to treat myself after an exhausting trip across Morocco and also booked additional treatments like Hammam, etc. The staff was friendly but totally disorganized. Even after reconfirming all my bookings it didn’t work out properly which was really frustrating. I think that shouldn‘t happen for a place where you spend such amount of money.

The property was in an ideal position. We enjoyed walking around the area with a guide seeing all the amazing buildings. We stayed in a Sultane double room which had a wrap around balcony. The room was on the top floor and it was as though we were amongst the trees. It was wonderful to hear the birds sing. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was all amazing. The chef would not be out of place in a top London restaurant. The staff were wonderful.They were so helpful and eager to please.

Le petit-déjeuner est le meilleur qu'on ait eu lors de nos 16 jours au Maroc. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très agréable et professionnel. Les lits sont très confortables, l'espace avec le balcon privé, le hamac et la douche extérieure est un vrai rêve! Il y a plusieurs petites attentions très appréciées. Le jardin aussi est un rêve en lui même, et on peut y consommer de l'alcool en toute intimité. Nous sommes arrivés avant l'heure du check-in et nous avons pu profiter de la piscine. Il y a aussi une petite boutique qui peut dépanner (par exemple pour de la crème solaire ou maillot de bain, car nos bagages sont arrivés après nous...) Tout nous a plu vraiment.

Cons: Lorsque nous y avons été il y a eu des petits problèmes de plomberie et on n'a pas eu d'eau froide pendant quelques heures, et il y a aussi eu un peu de bruit près de la piscine dû aux travaux. Puisque l'établissement et tous ses services et consommations sont quand même chers, une consommation offerte aurait été appréciée pour ces désagréments.

Cons: Der Service ist sehr freundlich, aber manche Dinge gehen unter oder wirken etwas umständlich. Am Buffet sollte beispielsweise immer genügend und vollständiges Besteck bzw. Geschirr vorhanden sein. Es fehlten aber immer kleine Gläser für Marmelade oder kleine Löffel, bespielsweise. Aber die Kellner waren ausnahmslos freundlich und zugewandt. Im Bad könnten die Handtücher mal ersetzt werden; die haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Bei dem gehobenen Preis sollte das selbstverständlich sein.

The staff was ok but what I thought I was going to get versus what I actually received was a bit disappointing.

Cons: I was traveling with a friend and booked a deluxe double room. The first room we were shown was spacious and decent, but it didn’t have a double bed as requested. The staff said they would upgrade us, but the new room ended up being smaller, with a tiny bathroom and two single beds pushed together to make one. The phone in our room didn’t work, so we couldn’t reach the front desk for help with things like arranging an earlier airport transfer or assistance with our bags. We had to carry our luggage down ourselves in a very small elevator. We decided to eat off the property and didn’t spend much time using the hotel amenities. Since we were only there for one night, it was fine but for the price, I wouldn’t stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel within the walls of the Medina (old town), located in a quieter area. It’s within walking distance of all the main attractions, but if you’re feeling tired or it’s too hot, it’s easy to catch a taxi. The hotel is a little oasis amid the chaos of the Medina. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. All the common areas meet the standards of a true five-star hotel.

From the moment we checked in, we were met with incredible kindness and attention - greeted with a welcome drink and sweet treats. Our room was large, comfortable and had a beautiful balcony which allowed us to enjoy the peace and quiet of Moroccan paradise outside the hustle and bustle of the medinas/souks. The beds and pillows were comfortable and perfect to come home to after busy days of touring. The bathroom and shower was comfortable with good water pressure and products. There is a beautiful pool area and chairs to lay out. The daily breakfast was amazing - very big selection of food and I especially loved the omelet/egg bar where you could decide what you wanted to eat that morning. The service in the restaurant and the front desk was 5 star, specifially Taoufik and Hafid - Zouhair (our favorite waiter) was friendly and anticipated any need in the breakfast before we knew we needed it! Abdeljhafour and Zakaria were also great. Overall, I would highly recommend this riad for a unique and authentic experience in Marrakech - comfortable, great location - walkable to everything! Also - loved that the taxi could drop us and pick us up right in front of the riad, so no need to travel far with luggage!

The location in the medina is just what we wanted being in the old part of Marrakech. The hotel garden surrounding the outdoor restaurant and swimming pool was an oasis of greenery and calmness. The staff at the Reception Desk, Restaurant and bar were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative was our Superior room. We chose this room based on the pictures on the Expedia website which were the newly Refurbished rooms ours was not and was rather dark shabby. Although kept very clean it was not what I was paying for and it did not spoil our holiday in Marrakesh. I believe the price of the room should reflect what you are actually getting.

J’oubliais l accueil à l arrivée lors du checking … on nous invite à se poser dans les jardins avec serviette fraîche , des pâtisseries , un jus excellent et on nous demande de choisir parois des senteurs laquelles on préfère pour nous mettre chaque soir sur nos oreillers . MAGNIFIQUE .

Les prestations sont excellentes, le personnel j’en parle même pas ( aimable, serviable, sympathique et très souriant ) Les prix ne sont pas du tout excessifs. Je ne parle meme pas non plus des soins hamman et spa ( je pense qu’ils font partie des meilleurs di ce n’est le meilleur que nous avons expérimenté jusque là). Si nous devons revenir à Marrakech, nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel.

J’ai passé 4 jours magnifiques aux Jardins de la Médina et je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix, alors qu’au départ j’hésitais avec des hôtels plus réputés à l’Hivernage. 😍 Les points que j’ai adorés : • Localisation idéale, à la fois proche de la médina (10/15 min d’une marche très agréable dans le quartier de la Kasbah) et facilement accessible en voiture depuis l’aéroport. • Luxe sobre des chambres, très spacieuses et confortables : j’avais réservé une chambre standard et elle était immense. Très propre et avec une climatisation efficace et silencieuse. • Un personnel exceptionnel, toujours sympathique, serviable et avec un mot gentil pour chaque client. • Un restaurant ultra pratique, avec une cuisine variée et excellente, à des prix très honnêtes compte tenu du standing et de la qualité servie (et des prix exagérés pratiqués par beaucoup). • Une adresse assez intimiste, qui offre un vrai sentiment de calme et d’exclusivité, loin des grands hôtels impersonnels. Le lieu est splendide : on entend les oiseaux chanter toute la journée, ce qui donne l’impression d’être dans une oasis au cœur de Marrakech. ✅ Franchement, un séjour parfait – je recommande à 100 %.

Les Jardins de la Médina sont un lieu absolument idyllique. Vous entrez dans un véritable havre de paix, où vous pourriez rester des jours en apesanteur, à écouter le chant des oiseaux, comme une volière à ciel ouvert, à regarder traverser les tortues sur la terrasse, à caresser le chat qui se prélasse sur un coussin ou sur les carreaux par-ci par -la, à refaire dix fois le tour des jardins, et monter sur le toit terrasse qui offre encore d autres points de vue et espaces merveilleux pour rêver, respirer, regarder, écouter et observer au loin le dédale des toits de Marrakech, entre les rames des palmiers, qui laissent entrevoir la Koutoubia tout au fond. On est dans un jardin merveilleux, protégé, chouchouté. Le personnel est absolument gentil et disponible, la piscine absolument merveilleuse, au milieu des grands arbres, et le petit déjeuner copieux, typique et fabuleux. La chambre elle-même était un bonheur tellement elle était décorée avec goût, c est un vrai luxe. Une mention spéciale aussi pour les repas merveilleux pris sur la terrasse, et la cuisine exceptionnelle du Maroc qui est ici maniée et remaniée avec goût et originalité. Tout était parfait et vraiment dans le moindre détail, si bien que chaque coup d'oeil vous semble être de l'ordre de l'œuvre d'art. On ne s'en lasserait jamais et on en prend plein les yeux, encore et encore. Merci aux Jardins de la Médina de nous avoir offert ce séjour inoubliable. Nous recommandons vivement bien sûr !

Cons: Total unverständlich ist der Umstand, dass das Restaurant nicht klimatisiert ist und, bei 40 Grad Hitze, nicht mal Ventilatoren aufgestellt werden. Die Wasserdampf-Düsen laufen den ganzen Tag, wenn aber niemand da sitzt. Abends waren sie ausgeschaltet und man geschwitzt wie verrückt. Das Wasser im Pool hatte eine leicht bräunliche Farbe, was den Schluss zulässt, dass es nicht sehr sauber ist.

Bei dem Hotel handelt es sich um ein relativ großes Riad. Von der Straßenseite völlig unscheinbar, versteckt sich im Innenhof ein sehr schöner Garten mit Swimmingpool und verschiedenen Sitzecken. Unser Zimmer hatte zusätzlich eine kleine private Terrasse mit Tisch und zwei Stühlen. Die Ausstattung des Raumes war durchaus in Ordnung, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was aber nicht störend war. Das Bad war sauber, sowohl eine Wanne als auch Regendusche und Brause waren vorhanden. Wir haben dort drei Nächte verbracht und abends jeweils im Hotel gegessen. Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren sehr gut. Das Personal war überaus freundlich.

Cons: Die Umgebung des Hotels in der Kasbah war nicht gerade toll. Die Gassen laden nicht unbedingt zum Bummeln ein und nette Straßencafes oder Restaurants mit Tischen vor der Tür sucht man vergebens. Da unterscheidet sich Marokko doch stark von Spanien oder Italien.

Les Jardins De La Médina is a gorgeous oasis in the busy town of Marrakech. With it's stunning palm trees, big pool and pool bar, it really is a sign for sore eyes. Our room was huge, it has a private balcony and a super king size bed. They come by your room twice a day - in the morning for clean-up and in the afternoon for some additional pampering. Breakfast is buffet style - a lot of options to pick from both cold and warm. Lunch and dinner options have good prices, great options depending on diet and preference. We did a couple's Hamam, I had a full deep-cleanse facial and my husband had a haircut and a professional shave - all of which were great!

Cons: The hotel leans more toward the old-school vibe. Their schedule for the restaurant is fixed and quite confusing: you can't eat whenever you want and also food options change dramatically between lunch and dinner. We ended up waiting until dinner to eat again after breakfast, which was not great. Breakfast is also underwhelming - I was expecting something a bit nicer given the price point and overall quality of the hotel. Drinks are very expensive at the bar and they seemed a little short staffed as it did take a really long time to get things delivered. You are also quite far out from the centre which is a plus and a minus - we enjoyed staying just on premise but you are then limited to their facilities the whole day!

The hotel is a hidden oasis right inside the old walls of Marrakesh. Each room is different and beautifully designed. The hotel is calm and tranquil. The breakfast, lunch and dinner we ate at the hotel was amazing. We tried two treatments and a harman at the spa which was out of this world.

La piscine est un atout.. très agréable de s'y rafraîchir. Très bon petit déjeuner et le personnel pro très aimable et attentionné. Nous sommes partis à regret.

Cons: Imprévu à l'arrivée. La chambre réservée n'était pas disponible mais le problème a été résolu le soir même par la direction.

The location was about 20 minutes walk from the medina which was ideal as it was a quiet place to relax when not exploring. The breakfast was a very good buffet breakfast with omelettes made to order. The gardens and pool area were beautiful and quiet. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and pleasant. If I were to return to marrakech I would stay here again without a doubt.

Once we walked through the door it was like an oasis of calm. It was a beautiful hotel, lovely gardens, restaurant, food and fantastic pool area. The spa was amazing too! Room was great with lovely features and a roof terrace. Most of all we liked the people working at the hotel, so friendly, kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They were a very efficient team. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it.

Сервис один из худших, встретили плохо, посадили, принесли чай с сахаром даже не спросив, с ним или без как в остальных местах, вонючие полотенца для рук. Не сказали сколько ждать номера. При заказе чего либо в ресторане ждать нужно вечность, даже воду. Номера с видном на патио, это номера с видом на стену соседнего здания, очень шумно с улицы. В номерах халаты настолько рваные, что должно быть стыдно их использовать. Комната возле бассейна для смены одежды даже не закрывается.

Friendly welcome, beautiful building, fabulous gardens and gorgeous rooms (we had 113). It's maybe 15 minutes from the main part of town, but oh so worth the steps when you retreat to what is an oasis. Six out five stars!

It is a little haven in the Old Town of Marrakesh. Beautiful gardens which offer serenity. The restaurant and bar all face the gardens and pool which makes it a lovely place to eat . The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the food was very nice . The hotel upgraded our room to have a terrace which was a nice addition as at this time of year the pool was predominantly in the shade.

Cons: The waiters during dinner could have been a little bit more attentive . They could disappear for some time and forget when you had asked for something . This could be exasperated by being sat indoors where you were at times hidden. The housekeeping could have been better. We had aglass shelves and a glass table , all of which remained extremely dusty our entire stay . We were given a choice of sprays for our pillow when we arrived but our pillows never smelt of any spray so it seemed like a gimmick. The housekeeper also took our bath towels and didn't replace them and took our second key. We didn't raise the shelves whilst we were there and I am sure that the hotel would have been on it straight away but it shouldn't be like that for the standard of the hotel.

Eine traumhaft schöne Oase! Nach dem Trubel in den Souks taucht man ein in die malerische Atmosphäre und magische Ruhe des Gartens. Sehr freundlicher und zugewandter Service. Die Betten sind von bester Qualität und haben die Erholung perfekt gemacht.

Cons: Manchmal könnten der Service einen tick aufmerksamer sein. Nach angebrachter Kritik, weil eine Reservierung nicht geklappt hatte, war man dafür umso bemühter.

Lovely riad with a wonderful atmosphere and very nice, special touches. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice food.

Cons: Our room was very, very dark and did not live up to photos on the website, hence somewhat disappointed. Due to layout of the room, it also felt very cramped. Unfortunately there were road works just outside the riad, so getting to and from the riad was very dusty and not very pleasant. Obviously just a temporary problem, but frustrating.

Fantastisch hotel, prachtige tuin, fijne sfeer en extreem aardig en adequaat personeel. Wij hadden een solarium kamer met dakterras met douche en 2 bedjes. Hotel is gelegen in zuidelijkste puntje vak de Medina. Een rustiger gedeelte wat wij erg prettig vonden. Zeer goed gelegen tov vliegveld. Wil je naar het centrum van de souk, is dat ongeveer 30 min lopen. Is goed te doen. Moskee, paleizen op 15 min lopen.

The hotel’s gardens were beautiful, an oasis of greenery with birds buzzing round and singing, even tortoises, didn’t see many creepy crawlies. Pool was heated and seating around it was good. Our room was beautiful on the first floor with views of the pool and gardens and with a little balcony. I had booked a garden room and was not disappointed.

Cons: We were disappointed with the food. Breakfast was nice, beautiful plain yoghurt with thick honey and fresh fruit. Choice of hot breakfast afterwards. Breads very fresh . Nibbles that came with drinks in the evening were local and very delicious and came very generously, served us as a starter. The dinner menu was less exciting, think a more local menu would have been preferable.

Home to a former princess the hotel retains an air of charm and elegance. Heritage seeps from its pores while lacking non of the comforts of a modern hotel which tend to lack soul. The hotel centres around apparently the largest private garden in the medina peppered with shady places to sit, a lovely veranda to eat under and a cute pool for lolling in the afternoon after a hectic jaunt around the souks - nearly perfect.

Cons: Nothing to dislike - perhaps the two and a half evening service at dinner could pick up the pace a tad.

Cons: L’attente à l’accueil pour notre chambre, le repas est très long à être servi. Nous avions notre repas et toujours pas nos boissons. C’était la deuxième fois pour nous mais rien à voir avec la première en 2021 !!!! Petit déjeuner agréable .

The Jardin de la Medina was a peaceful and tranquil oasis on the edge of the medina. Rooms are lovely and have a traditional Moroccan vibe. Lovely pool and spa. Nice breakfast and lovely food from the restaurant for dinner. What makes this hotel is the staff who are so courteous, respectful and welcoming. We cannot praise them enough and they go above and beyond.

Cons: Mein Zimmer hatte kein Fenster mit Aussicht nur in den angeschlossenen Vorgarten. Das Fitnessstudio hatte keine Handtücher und kein Wasser, im Spa wurde nicht auf das gebuchte Treatment eingegangen oder sich vorgestellt.

L’emplacement entouré de ces magnifiques jardins, l’hôtel est spacieux le rooftop très sympa. Le restaurant est très bon, le spa exceptionnel toute l’équipe est incroyable Fatima et himene, et toute l’équipe de l’accueil et le restaurant vraiment très professionnels très patients, ils ont tout fait pour nous arranger tout le temps, certains des membres de l’hôtel sont là depuis 20 ans. Je retournerai de sûr rien que pour toute l’équipe. Le lit était vraiment très confortable. Je recommande.

The location is very good and it is indeed an oasis in the Medina. So nice and peaceful once you go through the door into the hotel. Staff are very friendly and was easy to organise an airport pick up as well as a guided tour of the medina, which I would highly recommend doing your first day there. Our rooms were lovely and the pool area very picturesque. This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and I’d certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Mi è piaciuto tutto di questo hotel, la piscina, il giardino è eccezionale, la cucina del Ristorante ottima sia quella più internazionale che quella tradizionale marocchina, abbiamo cambiato camera al terzo giorno di soggiorno e lo staff è stato gentilissimo supportandoci nel cambio della stanza. L'hotel è molto comodo alla piazza principale a piedi si raggiunge facilmente in 15 minuti. Dopo tanti anni a Marrakech questo è l'hotel che nel complesso mi ha soddisfatto maggiormente.

This is a beautiful hotel that is a relaxing oasis away from the chaos of the city. The staff were amazing and always very friendly, and couldn’t do enough for you. Our solarium room was fantastic with its roof top terrace with two sun beds and an umbrella. We booked a massage and it was the best massage we’d ever had. The hotel has amazing gardens and much to our delight some resident tortoises which we fed. We also had the wonderful experience of seeing one of the baby tortoises. I read previous reviews and saw the photos but this went beyond all expectations. We loved our stay and didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much to Amina and her team and in particular to Haveed in the restaurant who was a delight.

Staff is friendly. Breakfast good.

Cons: Don’t be surprised if you think that room you booked isn’t the one you booked. Pictures of rooms they have on Booking are completely different than when you see it in person. On Booking are new but hotel itself is old. We wanted full refund and leave but as that wasn’t possible, as a compensation they offered other room and gave 20% money back.

This is a small hotel with a distinct Moroccan feel and beautiful gardens that hug the pool and rooms. My room was a little tired decor wise but had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (including my own at home!). Excellent aircon and a free bottle of water each day. The stone floor in my room added to keeping it cool in the hot August sun of 46°C but it seemed grubby, as on wiping up a spillage of suncream, a fair amount of what look like dirt, came up too . Benefit of the doubt would say it could be discolouration from the terracotta floor tiles. The tiny ants crawling out from the edge of the sink taps in the bathroom were somewhat disconcerting. Great shower, though the hot/cold signs were transposed and I stupidly didn't cotton on until I'd asked the plumber to look at my cold shower! (Room 119). The room overall was very charming, which was just as well. The little outside sitting area was also a nice addition though not used as i was alone. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food at breakfast was abundant however the evening meals were disappointing depending on your choice. Lovely pool area but as usual people leave towels and belongings to reserve them whilst disappearing for hours. The hotel is in a convenient quiet spot not far from some shopping and attractions that are walking distance. We got taxis to venture further for dinner on three occasions out of our six nights. We did the sunrise hot air balloon experience which was excellent.
