The location
Cons: One of the worst Novotel experiences. The staff was completely negligent to help me and my family with the luggage. The room pictures and in real life were not at all similar. The air conditioning in the room and lock were broken and the staff said it was going to be like this. The reception had a currency exchange option which one of the staff members declined to help us saying its closed but after 10 minutes the other staff member was happy to help. The breakfast was complete garbage and was completely stale. Honestly a waste of money and very poor experience to have from Novotel.

Cons: Le sol de la chambre était sale et collant, les draps et le lit de mauvaise qualité. Le prix est excessif pour la prestation. Le buffet du petit dejeuner est primaire, pas de choix, pas de quantité. Les photos sur le site ne sont pas du tout réel (ni la déco ni le standing y est present). Je n y reviendrai plus. Mauvaise expérience.

Cons: The chair in my room was broken. The facilities were run down. There were plates and dishes left in the hallways. My fridge needed to be defrosted and had a bad odor to it whenever I opened it. The safe in my room kept breaking. Overall, it felt like Accor and ownership have decided to let this hotel run down. The staff were pleasant though.

The staff is very good. Location is great as you may park the car overnight in a garage that serves multiple hotels. Easy access to souq.

Only 2 things I liked. 1. Even though they initially said via this site, that couldn't do early checkin, when we arrived at 10am, they still checked us in. 2. The location to the old souq and others were still within walking distance.
Cons: Reception staff did not have patience when the credit card didn't work at the beginning, was being very dismissive and rough swiping the cards again and again, until we tried with another supplementary card and charges went through. Initial room given didn't match what we booked, didn't have a sofabed. Then they changed the room for us that matched what we booked. Not enough towels, no floor mats in toilets in the beginning. Breakfast was quite lousy for the price, we ate twice, but saw food recycled e.g. potatoes and sausages became dry as it was recyled and reheated again and again. They didn't allow breakfast to be charged to the room, and insisted we pay on the spot - they kept us confused at first they said it can be charged to the room, then later said it cannot. They also didn't want to arrange airport transfer and asked us to negotiate with the white taxis waiting outside. Key cards were so sensitive, it kept getting reset. Everytime we came back from tours, we had to go back down to reception to get the key cards fixed.

Cons: I didn’t liked quite a lot of things starting from the staff’s behaviour they were very rude seems to be unwelcoming bot like a novotel standard. Secondly rooms were decent not upto the mark and finally as novotel usually have facilities for room arrangements but they didn’t had any which is understandable but when I went to ask them in the reception the manager was extremely rude and said we don’t have time for this nd told me to go to the local market and get what ever i need

Отличное расположение: напротив ж/д вокзала Casa Port, удобно добираться из/в аэропорт. С 12 этажа прекрасный вид на город и порт. В номере огромный телевизор и устойчивый вай-фай, что было далеко не во всех отелях Марокко.
Cons: Раздельный санузел, что не очень удобно: дверь в туалет расположена у самого входа, а чтобы руки помыть, приходится идти через весь номер. Также весьма запутанная система "светильники/выключатели", их очень много (!!!).

Cons: Very bad experience. We arrived very late in the evening around 11:00 pm but nevertheless the two rooms we had booked, each for four people, were not prepared. We waited several time to check in because there was a long that line and only one service person. Once we entered the room only a double bed was prepared while the sofa bed was not prepared. Although we called the front desk several times the attendant took almost 20-30 minutes to arrive and by that time it was almost 1 a.m. There were no towels for four people but only for two, and the room and bathroom were overall dirty and decaying. To top it off there was a nauseating smell in the hallways leading to the room. Very bad experience.

This has to be the worst Novotel I have ever stayed at. I have been a Accor customer for more years than I can remember. We asked for a early check in so I could do some work. Despite being a silver member at the moment ( I have been a gold and platinum) they charged about 65 euros for the privilege despite the room being ready. The bed linen was filthy the towels as well and they were falling apart worn out. We went to the bar for a drink, it did not look much of a bar and we were told there was only beer no spirits. So we went to the IBIS next door where we were well looked after. We came back to the Novotel and the bed linen had been changed for clean and clean towels. It was very cold so we put the AC on heat but it was cold so no sleep and also the pillows were hard. So no sleep and the ventilator in the bathroom was noisy and did not switch off when the lights were turned off. The room was for a disabled person and when my wife had a shower and the water filled the bathroom as the drain away was not working properly. I needed the toilet but did not dare walk in the bathroom for fear of slipping on the flooded floor. We have complained yet again and gone to the Ibis. We tried on numerous occasion to call the reception from the room but no answer. I will also mention that after booking this hotel I emailed them regarding a disabled room. I had no reply. Clearly management need need to take charge of this hotel and make some changes immediately to make it work as a Novotel should do.

Except for location everything is below grade when compared to a 1 star hotel (if there is one). On top of my head. - Front desk is unresponsive - Showers dont work- u can easily burn yourself as temperature fluctuates. I got saved as there was no pressure if you raised to your head level (5 feet in my case); - Small insects hovering over buffets (breakfast or other meals) - TV - only 5% channels work - Air Condition- forget it- thank god it was breezy outside This one pulls down average for Novotels worldwide.

We ordered food and didn’t come. Also not easy to reach the people with calling , no one pick up the phone. It’s really bad service and after many calls we got our pasta. It’s a very simple food to prepare. So many things. We asked for help to get a taxi from the door man. They brought us to the taxis in front of hotel one. They asked 150 dirham for 3 km. We asked outside taxi, they said 50 dirham. We took that taxi then coming back to hotel we took normal red taxi. Driver said it’s 10 dirham. Unbelievable!!!

This Novotel was a straightforward hotel that we booked for a couple of nights in transition between the airport and train to Marrakesh. For that purpose, the hotel was just fine. The view from our high floor room was great, looking over the old town and toward the giant Hassan mosque. The location was also ideal for a quick visit to the central market. Breakfast was a nice spread. This place was good for a no-frills inexpensive stay.
Cons: The rooms were a bit cramped for a family of 4 but not bad. The restaurant was out of some options for dinner, but it was fine enough as well. The air conditioning was hard to get working as well, and didn't really work in either of the rooms we stayed in (we stayed a night in each direction of our trip). However, the outside air was cool so we just cracked a window.

Flight got canceled due to weather conditions causing us to miss our connecting flights and the lack of compassion and the unprofessionalism from this establishment was horrible. They respond online like they are trying to help but it’s automated and they don’t care. Called long distance and they put me on hold then hung up the phone, when I tried calling back, they kept hanging up the phone on me. I will never use this hotel nor recommend. Based on other reviews I can see I’m not the only one. Disappointing! Hope this isn’t a reflection of what tourism is like.

No deberian de habilitar estos sofas para dormir. No hay sitio para aparcar el coche. El recepcionista nos indico que le ralizarian un regalo a mi mujer por su cumpleaños de febrero y se acabo la estancia en el hotel sin recibir nada. Cons: Wir sind geschäftlich unterwegs gewesen. Das Hotel war nicht in der Lage uns Rechnungen auszustellen, wie wir sie brauchen. Nach mehreren Reklamationen telefonisch und per E-Mail, haben wir eine zusammengewürfelte Rechnung bekommen, die nicht unsere Anfrage entspricht. Die Übernachtungspreise sind bei einer Übernachtung nicht korrekt gewesen. Auf unsere Reklamation zu diesem Punt wurde auch nicht reagiert. Im Ibis-Hotel neben dran haben auch Kollegen von uns übernachtet. Dort hat die Rezeption die Rechnungen nach unsren Anforderungen sauber fertiggestellt. Ibis und Novotel gehören doch zu Accor. Novotel soll von Ibis lernen !

Perfect location to round around the city, easy to walk to the touristic spot or other destination in the city, the room has a better view of the ocean as well.
Cons: Toilet they kept in the other corner of the room and its hard to get the water inside, we had difficulties during our stay and informed them to arrange a bucket just for us, as a muslim its hard to deal with it.

I really like the location, the bed was super comfortable and the view of Al Hassan Mosque was phenomenal. The service was very good!
Cons: I didn't like the breakfast offerings. I find it crazy you can't get proper coffee inside the hotel. Only the machines, and concernigly they didn't understand my concern with my allergy to the powdered milk. Didn't have coffee that morning. Room was starting to show signs of being worn down, bed was not laid properly, only housewife pillows on the bed, and the additional pillows were house wife pillows but no pillow covers. No dressing gown or slippers provided.

Cons: The Novotel experience fell short of expectations, and I cannot justify its five-star rating—it barely earns three stars. The property is outdated, lacking upgrades and modern facilities. Breakfast was surprisingly basic for a brand like Novotel, offering only a limited selection of items. The washroom setup was the most inconvenient: a separate toilet area with no connection to the main washroom, no sink, no trash can, and no water or bidet—a truly baffling design. The room itself was dusty, with visibly aged towels, dirty sofas, and carpets that seemed untouched by deep cleaning for ages. Overall, it lacked the comfort and quality one expects from a hotel of this caliber.

Très bon emplacement à 2 pas du port et de la corniche. Très propre.
Cons: Airco qui ne fonctionne pas. Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre (en décembre). Obligé d’ouvrir une fenêtre. Salle de bain qui laisse de l’eau s’échapper donc de l’eau partout. Pas assez d’essuies malgré les nombreux rappels.

Staff were very nice and kind. They helped us for several our requests very kindly. I was glad to chose this hotel because of their hospitality.
Cons: Facility was nice but just few improvements could be appreciated for house keeping. We had only one coffee, one toilet paper (no spare), etc. but not a big deal.

Relatively modern hotel, rooms are clean, they hired the dumbest architect to design bathroom, putting toilet seat in a separate room next to the room door, to wash your hands you have to go back inside the room where sink and shower are. well located for business travelers, next to train station and old city, they have a problem wiping the tables, they simply add new cover on whatever the previous person left in the restaurant.

Jawad and Yusuf in reception are wonderful and helpful. I was given a room with a great view of the Hasan II mosque which I appreciated. Rooms are comfortable and clean with plenty of light and plugs! Breakfast is very good. Proximity to Casa Jose is great.
Cons: When my daughter and I were checking out, there was nobody around to help and nobody answered the phone to call someone to help! She went down and came back herself with a cumbersome brass luggage cart which we loaded our suitcases onto...we took it down the elevator ourselves. Coming out, she bashed her hand when the heavy cart ran into the corner of the reception desk. The guy there (nobody I knew) just looked at her and went back to checking his phone; he stayed behind the desk with no inclination to help two women rolling heavy luggage through the lobby. We wheeled the cart thru the doors, to the street and there was another employee absolutely not interested in helping us. When the taxi came, he finally did put our luggage in the trunk. I have stayed MANY times at the Novotel and this visit was very unpleasant at the end.

It was a challenge to sleep in the room given the musky/mildew smell. The wall I slept next to had water damage. My sheets had step marks on it. It was difficult to sleep in. The location was spectacular as it was across the street from Casa Port.

Outdated hotel and more like a hotel you’d stay at near an airport. The location is great and walking distance to one of the train stations in Casablanca. We also got a room facing two major construction sites and the noise was annoying while we had to leave one of the windows open to get air from outside. The whole hotel needs professional cleaning and renovation. It was very busy when we stayed in it and I’m not sure where the revenues are going.

This hotel needs a major renovation, absolutely disappointing. dirty couches, dirty carpet and nothing was good about the rooms. I stayed in Sydney in Novotel and expected the same results. Only the breakfast was excellent.
