Great location, right near everything. Most of the staff were friendly apart from the odd one or two at reception. Yong was amazing, his recommendations for day trips were spot on.

Our stay at M Social Phuket had a disappointing start due to the room assignment and the lack of clear information regarding the room view before arrival. However, the way the situation was handled afterward made a real difference. I would especially like to thank Monica, the Front Office Manager, for her professionalism, understanding, and personal attention. She listened to our concerns, followed up personally, and made a sincere effort to improve the rest of our stay. The anniversary cake, fruit, personal note, and thoughtful arrangements were greatly appreciated by my wife and me. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. I believe clearer communication about room categories and views before arrival would make the guest experience even better. Overall, despite the initial disappointment, we left with a much more positive impression and appreciated the genuine care shown by the team.

My overall experience was excellent. The hotel is ideally located in a prime tourist area, with two shopping malls conveniently attached to the hotel and a wide variety of restaurants nearby. The beach is also within walking distance, which was very convenient. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would be happy to stay there again in the future.

Our experience at M Social Phuket was, without question, one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We deliberately waited more than a week before posting this review to give the hotel an opportunity to resolve the situation. It remains unresolved. Our tour company reserved and paid for a Stylish Double Room. Instead, we were assigned a room with a single bed and an overwhelming moldy, musty odor. The stench was so severe that we immediately returned to the front desk and requested another room. We were told that there were no other Stylish Double Rooms available and that the only other room available was an “upgraded” room, for which we would have to pay an additional 5,200 baht (approximately US$155). We were given no meaningful choice: pay an additional 5,200 baht or stay in the room with the unbearable odor. So we reluctantly paid. Within approximately 20 minutes, the hotel’s explanation completely fell apart. As other members of our tour group entered their rooms, complaints began pouring in. Several guests had also been assigned single-bed rooms despite the tour company having requested double-bed rooms. Multiple rooms had moldy/musty odors and significant humidity, and one room even had a plumbing problem requiring a plumber. In total, approximately 10 rooms affecting more than 20 guests had significant problems. And then something remarkable happened. After telling us that no other rooms were available, the hotel suddenly found replacement rooms for other members of our tour group that very same evening—within approximately 20 minutes of us paying 5,200 baht because we had been told there were no other rooms. Apparently, rooms were available after all. The so-called “upgrade” we were required to purchase was essentially a pool-view version of the room category we had already paid for. We were not looking for a complimentary upgrade. We simply wanted the clean, comfortable Stylish Double Room that had already been purchased. Guests should not have to pay an additional 5,200 baht because the hotel assigned them a room with an unbearable odor. As complaints from our group mounted, the hotel eventually acknowledged that there was a significant problem. Staff were sent to affected rooms with dehumidifiers, rooms were sprayed to address the odors, and a plumber was sent to deal with the plumbing problem. The affected guests were subsequently moved to different rooms. Within hours of the check-in fiasco, our tour leader held a group call apologizing for what had happened. She informed us that the affected guests would be moved and specifically stated that we should not have been charged the upgrade fee, because we had already paid for our room and it was the hotel’s responsibility to provide a clean and acceptable one. Our tour company immediately requested that M Social Phuket refund our 5,200 baht. Instead of simply correcting the situation, the hotel delayed responding for days. Then the billing situation became even more concerning. When our tour company continued pursuing the refund and requested documentation of what the hotel had charged us, the hotel provided paperwork showing that we had been charged 3,900 baht and that a 1,300-baht credit had been issued. There was just one problem: That did not match what actually happened. Our credit card was charged the full 5,200 baht. We had our original receipt showing 5,200 baht. And we never received the 1,300-baht credit reflected in the documentation provided to our tour company. Because of this discrepancy, at checkout we specifically requested another copy of our final hotel bill so that we could compare the hotel’s own records. Our final checkout bill also showed 5,200 baht. So the documentation the hotel provided directly to us at checkout matched our credit-card charge: 5,200 baht. Yet the documentation provided to our tour company showed 3,900 baht and a 1,300-baht credit that we never received. We asked hotel management to explain why the documentation provided to our tour company differed from our original receipt, our final checkout bill, and the actual charge on our credit card. We never received a satisfactory explanation. Our final attempt to resolve this with management was even more disappointing. On our final evening, we spoke directly with a manager. She claimed that she had personally been present during our original check-in discussion and stated that we had been offered multiple options and voluntarily chose to purchase the upgraded room. That is simply not what happened. More importantly, she was not present during that interaction. This was the first time we had seen or spoken with her. We told her directly that she had not been present during our check-in discussion and therefore could not possibly have personally witnessed the conversation she was describing. She became silent and had nothing to say. We again explained what actually happened: we were told that there were no other rooms available and that our only choices were to pay for the upgraded room or remain in the room with the unbearable odor. The manager then told us she would speak with her supervisors and call us back. She never did. We eventually had to contact her again ourselves. She continued insisting that we were not entitled to a refund. We also questioned her about the discrepancy between the paperwork provided to our tour company and the 5,200-baht charge reflected on our receipt, checkout bill and credit card. Again, we received no satisfactory explanation. Finally, when we told her that we intended to describe everything that had happened accurately in a public review, her response was: “Why do you have to say all of that?” Because all of that happened, and future guests deserve to know how this situation was handled. This was never about wanting a free upgrade. We had already paid for a Stylish Double Room. When the room assigned to us was unacceptable because of the overwhelming odor, the hotel had a responsibility to provide an acceptable room. Instead, we were told there were no other rooms and required to pay 5,200 baht to move—only to watch the hotel find rooms for other guests shortly afterward. Then came days of delays over the refund, conflicting accounts from management, a manager claiming to have witnessed a conversation she was not present for, a promised callback that never happened, and billing documentation provided to our tour company that did not match our receipt, our final hotel bill, or our credit-card charge. More than a week has now passed since our stay. We intentionally waited before posting this review because we wanted to give M Social Phuket the opportunity to correct the situation. As of the date of this review, the 5,200-baht charge remains on our credit card, no refund has been issued, and the unexplained discrepancy in the billing documentation remains unresolved. Hotels can have maintenance problems. Rooms can occasionally have problems. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a hotel responds. A reputable hotel should respond with transparency, accountability and respect for its guests—not by requiring guests to pay extra to escape an unacceptable room and then spending days disputing responsibility for the charge. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at M Social Phuket. Based on our experience and the way management handled this matter, I cannot recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at M Social Phuket and overall I’d rate it 7/10. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and in an excellent location. It’s literally right next to Jungceylon Mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, restaurants, and getting around Patong. There were a couple of downsides. Overall, if location is your priority, M Social is a good option. However, if you’re looking for luxury and great value, there may be better hotels available in the same price range.

I had high expectations for M Social Hotel, but unfortunately, the room quality was incredibly disappointing and felt more like a 3-star hotel. Here are the major issues I encountered during my stay: TV Connection: The television kept cutting out and frequently had no signal. Bathroom Design & Safety: The shower area has no door or curtain. As a result, water continuously floods the floor outside the shower stall, creating a very dangerous and slippery hazard. Furthermore, the water pressure was weak, and the storage shelf inside the shower is installed in a very awkward position—it gets in the way of washing and I actually scratched my arm on it. Severe Lack of Soundproofing: The main room door offers zero sound insulation. I could clearly hear every single sound from the hallway—people walking past, talking, and other rooms opening and closing their doors. How can a brand-new, supposedly 5-star hotel have such poor room quality? Aside from its stylish, modern design and the convenience of being directly connected to the shopping mall, the actual stay experience was deeply substandard. For your reference, I spent the first two nights of my Phuket trip at a 5-star pool villa, so I know exactly what 5-star standards should be. M Social completely failed to meet those standards. I will definitely not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

This was the BEST hotel I've been in Phuket so far, M Social. Room was very clean and nice with all ammendities supplied. Near to the mall with access thru the lobby. Bangla road was just across the hotel. Pool, u can just hang out there whole day. Breakfast menu changed everyday. Stayed there for 6 days, and unfortunately my SQ flight was cancelled to the next day. INSTEAD we decide to come back to M Social and extend 5 more days there. A total of 11 days!! The Hotel Garden: I was so impressed to learn they use fresh Thai herbs grown right in the hotel's own garden. You can really taste the difference in the freshness of the food! The Pizza: Don’t miss out on the pizza here—it is excellent! we always odered by the pool. The Pool Bar is a great place to relax, thanks to the wonderful team. A special shout-out to Bow and Bryce (or Bank) —he is a fantastic entertainer, very funny, and always has a smile on his face. He made every visit to the bar a pleasure. I’d 100% recommend M Social Hotel Phuket to any families with young children travelling to Phuket! This was our second time staying there and the staffs and service rendered to us were really consistent as per our last visit in July 2025. Staffs offered to help us with the bags, we were also offered a welcome ice-cream and cold towels during check-in and everything was seamless! They even helped us with our stroller and offered us a baby cot for our 3-month-old. We loved the fact that it is seamlessly connected to Jungceylon and the Big C supermarket is literally just 2 mins away. Perfect for us! I’d like to commend on the staffs working at the Beast and Butterflies during the breakfast shift (7-9 May). They were sooooo patient and welcoming, one staff (i did not get her name!) even offered me a cup of coffee. That was really sweet of her. They were also very professional and calm despite having to handle annoyingly loud and entitled tourists from India (they are the WORST!) Auan, the staff during check-out was also very warm and friendly. He bid us farewell and told us to come again. We will definitely be back again next year because we already missed Phuket, Auan, the yummy breakfast at M Social & the overall experience in M Social!

And the best part was the location very central to everything and all though you’re in the middle of it all it’s still very peaceful and quite when need be. Hotel is very well located in the center of Patong very close to Jungceylon mall. Rooms are nice but the hand wash is right inside the room which is not a great feature! Overall it was a good stay ! Room with pool access was great !! Breakfast needs a bit of improvement staff needs a bit of training I thought the servers at the breakfast restaurant were quite rude and unwelcoming!!

I booked a 14 days stay at M Social Phuket. My family also stayed at this hotel and booked multiple rooms. Much of the communal area needs updating such as the pool tiles and bathroom. Our rooms had ants when we arrived and we were quickly accommodated, however the second room had the same issue and on a lower floor than we initially had. My aunts room had a plumbing leak in her room. My sisters room had issues with the drywall cracking and creating debri on the floor. This hotel is central to all things Phuket and the customer service was as expected, however, not worth the money. The hotel needs updating and their are plenty other hotels nearby that would be just as satisfactory. Not the worst stay, but I would stay elsewhere next time.

Все вещи, чеки и бумажные пакеты тоже были влажные из-за этого. 3. Сложно было дышать, чувствовался запах плесени 4. Много каких-то насекомых в номере. Появлялись комары, хотя мы не открывали окна 5. В ванной черная плесень, было не очень приятно вещать свои полотенца к этой стене 6. Раковина в ванной тоже была грязная, зеленая. Вода плохо сливалась

We took our two little boys (9 & 11) to M Social. We had 2 pool access rooms and we stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are very beautiful and kept very well. It was a great atmosphere as it fell on SongKran Water Festival. We stayed at this hotel for the first time and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. We loved everything from the amazing friendly helpful hotel staff, to all the facilities. We spent hours in the beautiful pool. Our buffet breakfast was amazing, they had a great spread. It's located right next to the Jungceylon mall and is very convenient for food and shopping. Special thanks to the lobby staff Win, Candy, Tulip & Snooker. We will definitely be back!

Loved our swim out room. Huge pool, nice poolside bar and dj playing chill tunes was a nice touch. The lady at the front desk (Snooker) was amazing during our stay! She helped resolve an AC issue and took care of us by including by some nice extras and following up to ensure all fine. Excellent service !
Cons: Breakfast had a huge variety, we had it for the 6 days but it suffered on quality (eg stale falafels consistently, stale pita bread, pork belly dish was 90% fatty bits? etc). On the positive side: Noodles were done well as was the sushi, spring rolls & omelettes.

If you love staying in patong, but don't want to be amongst the crowd, M social hotel is the best hotel to stay in, its connected to Jungceyln mall, perfect location. Rooms are very clean, staff are super friendly, made check in and check out easy, they were very accommodating. The only down fall is the lifts had no aircon, other than that, its the perfect hotel and budget friendly.

We had a great experience at M Social Hotel in Patong, Phuket. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was very rich and varied, with plenty of fresh products, which we really enjoyed. Both the room and the hotel were very clean and beautifully designed. A nice touch was that the hotel has two nearby reception areas, and the staff kindly transported us between them using a golf cart. Unfortunately, we only stayed 2 out of the 5 nights we had originally planned due to our initial flight being canceled, so we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the pool, which looked very nice. Highly recommended!

Firstly Auan spoke to us every morning with a smile👏Then the breakfast team each one of you greeted us with smiles! Meen, Njoy Yoyo and Rondon were the only names I remember but you all made our breakfast so special. A big mention to the tall egg station guy, the best eggs benedict ever! Breakfast had so much choice and all beautifully presented👏👏❤️ Next the lobby bar, we loved this place in the company of the lovely duo, playing while we had a cold drink, big shout out to Lloone, Juhn and Jackie.👏❤️ If I have missed anyone I apologise all you staff are superstars, you made our stay so special. It was a great place and hospitable, however, during breakfast, it was many isdues, stafg seem stressed and overworked and if you ask tgem may i have tge spoon, tgey rudely redpobd, you can ho and get it yourself ( Joy) it eas not impresdive and they have only two coffee machines and very slow for many people to get coffee andca big line up, it can be improved and be a better place

Had a wonderful and memorable stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, location, staff and room was great,Yoyo looked after us 100% (we were spoiled) and Auan was always there to help when needed,Bebe and Im were excellent in the Bincho Izakaya restaurant, which was well worth the visit…..would highly recommend.

An amazing stay with family having room with pool view (sunkissed wing). The hotel has two wings connected by a mall. Free buggy service available between the buildings. Staff at reception, bell boys, club car drivers, room service, restaurant, pool are amazing and always ready to help with a smile. We are absolutely impressed! Yoyo did an outstanding job as Service Manager – extremely professional, attentive, and truly dedicated. You can immediately tell that he puts passion into his work. The service was fast, friendly, and perfectly organized. The food was excellent – fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. Everything was simply amazing! Located in the very center of Patong, it is an ideal place for anyone who does not like long trips around the city. Within a few minutes of the hotel you will find a restaurant, a bar, a massage salon, a market, a boxing stadium and many other tourist attractions. Although the hotel rooms are very well isolated from the noise of the street, due to the location I do not recommend this place to people looking for peace.

We spent 4 nights here and had a wonderful experience. We booked the pool-access rooms, which I highly recommend. My parents-in-law absolutely loved the private jacuzzi attached to the room—it was such a treat to soak there before stepping right out into the main pool. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. My kids were thrilled that they could rent underwater scooters, which kept them entertained for hours! The staff were consistently polite and professional throughout our stay. Another huge plus was the massage center located right next to the pool—very convenient and high quality. A truly enjoyable and relaxing stay for the whole family!

We stayed at M Social Hotel Phuket for 10 days and had an amazing experience. The room was beautiful, modern, and very clean. The hotel atmosphere is stylish, safe, fun, and vibrant. 📍 Location: unbeatable — walkable to nightlife, the beach, and the mall. 💛 Service: truly outstanding, especially at breakfast. We were welcomed warmly every morning. Yoyo always checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and Gong was a pleasure—serving fresh fruit and juices daily with such kindness. Big thanks as well to Beam, Meaya, and Abo. Even the staff transporting guests between hotel wings were friendly and fun. This hotel truly made our Phuket stay unforgettable. A fantastic hotel in Patong for travelers who want to be in the middle of the action, with comfortable rooms, solid breakfast, and a great vibe. We had a fabulous time at M Social Phuket during our week-long getaway. We chose this hotel because we’re not beach-resort people - we prefer to be in the thick of the action, and the location could not have been better. The hotel is attached to Jungceylon Mall, a large complex with a wide range of shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore without going far. Location and vibe: Right in Patong’s core, so you can step out and find plenty of dining, nightlife, shopping, and entertainment options. The hotel itself has a cool, contemporary vibe that fits the energy of the area. Rooms and comfort: We stayed in the Social Cosy room, which was perfect for our needs - comfortable bed, clean, stylish, and well laid out. While we didn’t spend much time in the room beyond sleeping, it met and exceeded our expectations for a city-center stay. Dining and facilities: Breakfast was great with a good variety to start the day. We didn’t use the gym or pool, but there were no concerns when we checked them out. Service: The staff were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and responsive. Value and recommendation: Overall, we’d definitely recommend M Social Phuket and would stay here again on our next visit. Super chic hotel with a calm, relaxing vibe. Everything was spotless and the room was spacious with a great balcony. Location is a win - connected to the mall, tons of restaurants and shops nearby, and even walkable to the beach. Didn’t know much about this place before booking but so glad we did.
