Lovely quiet spot in traditional setting in Medina but well located to get to main square. Really appreciated the free mobile and made great use of Google maps! Hotel charming- very clean and elegantly decorated with little nooks to relax in. Huge bathroom and wonderfully comfortable bed. Good breakfast in lovely setting. But the best bit are the staff. They work well as a team and manage to achieve a perfect balance of attention to detail, being discreetly in the background yet making you feel part of a close family. Amazing experience

Excellent service from moment of booking. Suggestions given on sight-seeing and trips which were extremely useful and booked for us by the Hotel. Warm welcome and the beautiful architecture and furnishings of the various riads were much appreciated. Excellent restaurant serving Moroccan dishes and wine. A highlight was learning to cook a tagine, flatbreads, etc and then eating the results in the restaurant! It was a lot of fun! The riads are ideally situated close to the Bahia Palace and the souks.

I recommend Angsana heritage collection to anyone visiting Marrakech! It is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle of the city ensuring a rest after a busy day exploring. The service and staff made the experience ten times better, very attentive and friendly. The breakfast is the best I have ever had and kept us full almost till dinner! We will come back here if we visit again.

Just coming to the end of a wonderful 4 night visit to Marrakech and the Angsana Riad Collection. It’s a crazy city but we had a fabulous time and the Riad was a hidden gem. It’s just off the main market streets which are only a short walk away. The staff are so warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The Riad we stayed in is only a short walk away from the main hotel but it was fabulous, very traditional but has everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. The reception staff are super helpful and the food was amazing. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back!!

We have just come back from our trip and stayed at Riad Blanc. We were part of a wedding party and had two of the Riads booked out. The room was exceptional! spacious, clean, gorgeous decor it was perfect. Every single member of staff was amazing and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was superb! It’s situated in a perfect location for exploring! In the centre but just outside the hustle and bustle so you could enjoy the quiet when you wanted to. We enjoyed taking a cup of tea and snacks up to the roof terrace in an evening and taking in the surroundings. Would highly recommend staying here for your trip!

On 25th October 2025, we got married in Riad Si Said and what an unforgettable experience all thanks to this amazing riad, the staff and the wonderful homely feel of this place. We stayed for 7 days in total, our friends and family stayed for 4 days and everyone had an incredible experince. The staff are the most wonderful and incredible people I have met on my travels, from the multiple Mohammeds (multiple spellings), Aziz, Souki, Syeed, Nadia, Sabah, Fatima to the door staff, chefs and cleaners - everyone is so kind and welcoming. The attention to detail is 5 star and service beyond expectations. Si Said is a stunning Riad over 300 years old, fantastic rooms which are beautifully decorated and a calm oasis in a bustling city. The food in incredible and all our wedding guests said it was one of the best meals they had in Marrakesh. Breakfast is a wonderful experience for your taste buds (Tagine eggs is a must) and they go the extra mile with service (my fiance before the wedding had a sore throat) and they made her a wonderful tea remedy to help. I can not speak highly enough of the riad and the people who work here, they created an unforgettable experience for me and wife as well as the guests. This is our Marrakesh home and this is the only place we will now stay when visiting Marrakesh (this was our 5th time). We have always had fantastic service in previous Riads but this place is on another level. The location is perfect, 5 minutes from everywhere and excellent value for money. Very clean and a quiet place to rest tired legs and enjoy a mint tea by the relaxing pool! If you are on a city trip to Marrakesh this place is perfect, if you are getting married here, this place (with the incredible Sabah who I could write a whole 5 star review for as well) is the most idilic and magical place to get married in. Until next time Si Said!

From our early arrival , ahead of check in time , Ahmed at the front desk made us feel truly at home in this gorgeous riad . Each member of staff that we met during our 3 day stay couldn’t have been more helpful and kind . Our room in si siad was Extremely comfortable , spotlessly clean with surprise little touches each day .The offer of a mobile phone with local sim was especially appreciated .we remarked the discreet way that everything was done throughout the riad .The food at the hotel was some of the best we had throughout our 2 week trip to Morocco. The spa was amazing . We felt both relaxed and uplifted when it was time to leave and will definitely stay here if we return and highly recommend. Finally Ahmed couldn’t have done more for us , my husband and I agreed he was a real ambassador for Moroccan hospitality and an absolute gentleman .angsana are lucky to have him

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment that we arrived, the reception staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and everyone was so friendly and professional. The food was exceptional — every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors. Housekeeping did an outstanding job keeping our room spotless and comfortable throughout our stay. A special mention to Ahmed, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out. Thanks to Ahmed and the entire team for such an excellent stay — we can’t wait to come back.

"I stayed at the Riad from September 26th to 29th. We had a wonderful experience — it's located close to the main palaces and just a 10-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa square, as well as other charming spots. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. All the staff were incredibly kind and always ready to meet any need. A special mention goes to the Riad for providing guests with a mobile phone with Google Maps (which is essential), so we didn’t have to use our own phones with data roaming. A big thank you also to Ahmed Ait Mhend, who works at the reception and was extremely helpful in coordinating with our external drivers for all travel arrangements."

The staff was really friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with Moroccan tea. They helped us navigate through the city by providing a smartphone with 4G which allowed us to use Google Maps. Finally, they also booked taxis for us which was very convenient.

Thanks a lot to the team. I will sure come back and I will recommend your beautiful Riad to my friends.

We had the absolute best time at the Ansagna Riad! From the moment we booked, the service was exceptional. We arranged a private airport transfer through the riad in advance, and despite a flight delay and a late check-in, everything went smoothly and seamlessly. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and always ready with great advice and local recommendations. One especially thoughtful touch was receiving a mobile phone with data upon check-in—such a helpful perk for navigating the area! The riad itself is actually a collection of various stunning riads, all beautifully decorated and accessible to Ansagna guests. Each space had its own unique charm and tranquil atmosphere. The hotel arranged a day trip to the Atlas Mountains and a visit to a local Berber village they actively support—an enriching, authentic experience we’ll never forget. They even surprised us with a birthday cake, which was such a sweet and personal gesture. Breakfast each morning was delicious, featuring fresh juice, fruit, and a lovely variety of local treats. Ansagna Riad truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed at the Riad Bab Firdaus part of the Angsana Heritage Collection. This was a two minute walk from the reception down the Rue De La Bahia. We took a private taxi from the airport to the hotel which can only drop you off 200m down a small lane from the reception so my advice would be to have a contact number from the hotel so you could call them and they can meet you. (Make sure you have the address of the hotel when you get a taxi because most of the taxi drivers don't know it) The hotel isn't that easy to see until you are on top of it. We were greeted like royalty, served Moroccan tea and cakes and we were given a hand made bracelet. After signing in we were also given an android mobile phone with access for free to Google, Maps and very helpful information regarding restaurants and contact numbers for the hotel. You can just use this at any time through out your stay. The rooms were very Moroccan and very clean. Breakfast was served to you with moroccan cakes and bread. Eggs tea coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice was also served. The Location was prefect. Two minute walk and you are in the heart on the moroccan culture which is quite an eye opener if you haven't been before. Watch out for the scooters bobbing in and out of the pedestrians. 7 minutes to the Medina Market. We have had a lovely city break. Thank you

We arrived later than expected due to a flight redirection, but were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The front-of-house staff greeted us with traditional pastries and mint tea, which was a lovely touch. We were even invited to choose a fragrance for our room—a unique and thoughtful detail. During this time, our luggage was taken directly to our riad. When we arrived at the riad, we were immediately impressed by its traditional décor, spotless cleanliness, and beautiful design. The room was immaculate and stocked with lovely local soaps and other thoughtful touches. The hospitality throughout our stay was outstanding. Every member of staff was welcoming and helpful, especially our breakfast server, who truly stood out. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan spread—plentiful, delicious, and beautifully presented. The riad’s location is ideal. It’s just a short walk through the souks, full of charming items for sale, to reach the medina. Yet it's far enough removed to offer peace and quiet, allowing for restful sleep and tranquil mornings. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a relaxing massage at the spa, which was a highlight of our stay. To summarize, this traditional-style riad was the perfect place to stay. Fantastic location, exceptional hospitality, delicious food—everything you could want for a memorable visit to Marrakech. We would recommend it 1000%!

Fabulous riad collection run by fabulous staff. Friendly, courteous, extremely helpful, professional and considerate. We found them through our first package holiday ever with Tui. Can't fault them. Be clear if stairs are an issue for you. Dinner at Riad Si Said was amazing too. Plunge pool at same Riad available to you if you stay in one of the others. All close together. Breakfast in your own riad courtyard however and also outstanding. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Riad Tiwaline! The room was so comfortable, and kept so clean and tidy by the lovely housekeeping team, it was the perfect base for us- somewhere to really relax after a busy day out! The roof terrace really made it for us too. Every member of staff we came across while staying here was nothing less than friendly and accommodating. We have never stayed somewhere before where we have felt truly welcomed and at home. Everyone was just so friendly and enthusiastic- from front desk staff to those in the restaurant, we did not meet one rude or unwelcoming person! We loved experiencing their enthusiasm over dishes in the restaurant or day trip opportunities. Speaking of which, the food was amazing, not one meal disappointed, the service was fabulous, and we left every meal feeling incredibly satisfied! We were made to feel very safe here too, in a country we know not much about it was a really nice touch to be able to reliably book taxis through the front desk and be walked out to our taxi, and also to have access to a phone with which we could use maps or contact staff. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would return!

The environment is one of peace and calm with wonderfully curated decor sympathetic to the country and its culture. The staff were outstanding in their helpfulness and friendliness. They could not have done any more to ensure that our stay was a very pleasant and enjoyable one. If you don't feel welcome here you won't feel welcome anywhere! Both breakfast and dinner were delicious in flavour and generous in helpings, prepared with authentic local ingredients and recipes. We let slip that we were there for a special wedding anniversary and that day, when we returned to our room, they had dressed it with rose petals and swans fashioned from towels - very thoughtful! Overall, exceptional value for money and a memorable experience.

I booked this stay for a surprise 30th birthday present for my partner. I contacted the company regarding some questions about the stay, recommendations for food, tourist attractions and any activities that I thought we may like. I was greeted with fantastic customer service from Nadia. She was brilliant throughout the lead up to our trip, answering any questions that I had and even giving up to date weather forecasts! Nadia also helped me book a surprise Hot Air Balloon ride on the morning of my partners birthday, which was unreal. The staff at Angsana Heritage were also wonderful. The manager met us from our drop off, carried our bags and walked us a few minutes to the location from a busy area. They provided us with a mobile phone for our stay, to use for google maps(which was very much needed!) and also to contact them if we had any issues returning to our Riad. Such a thoughtful touch. The traditional Moroccan breakfast was very good, again service was very attentive and welcoming. To top it off the night porter even surprised us with a birthday cake once we arrived back from dinner for my partner, very unexpected but appreciated! To my surprise, Nadia came out of her way on the morning of our departure to walk to our Riad and introduce herself to make sure we had an enjoyable visit and stay with them. Wonderful to meet such a kind young lady. The Riad itself was incredible. The architecture and detail was second to none and so much more than we expected. Cannot recommend staying here enough.
Cons: The one tiny thing that didn't meet expectations was the weather for our sunrise hot air balloon! Cloudy and overcast wasn't planned. This just shows how much of a good time we had.

It's difficult to know how to rate this hotel as for majority of things we had no complaint - the staff were absolutely lovely, great breakfast, the housekeeping excellent and the riad itself (we stayed at Si Said) was a beautiful building. However our experience was significantly marred by the intrusively loud lobby music which was played for long stretches of time during the day and late into the evening (this particular riad is the main restaurant for the other riads). We don't mind the noise from conversation, but the 'muzak' just wouldn't quit! As the room openings face inwards, with shutters and single glazing, there was no way to effectively block out the sound. In addition, there was intermittent mechanical noise directly below our room coming from what we think was a macerater from a toilet below which regularly woke us during the night. We really needed our riad to be a quiet oasis from the frenetic streets outside and unfortunately we were left exhausted from lack of sleep by the end of our holiday.

Location was excellent. It's down a quiet alley, just a few minute walk to the medina. Our room "Melleh" in the main riad was beautiful. Richly decorated and a huge space which was excellent for a 6 night stay. We enjoyed the aromatherapy scent of the day. Housekeeping was great. The breakfast was filling and the service staff were wonderful. The hotel can arrange pick up/drop off from the train station which was very convenient. I would 100% definitely recommend a stay here. The medina can be exhausting and it was so lovely to return to our room at the end of the day.
Cons: Water pressure was a bit low, but we were warned about this at check in as it was due to a water shortage. Also the shower was slow to drain with water pooling- we did not mention this to staff. Since the rooms surrounds the in house restaurant below, there can be some noise from diners/music, but it is quiet by 10pm.

From the moment I arrived at Angsana Heritage Collection Riads in Marrakech, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and personal, with the staff offering traditional Moroccan tea and a lovely introduction to the property. Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, making me feel truly at home. The riad itself is a stunning blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern comfort. Breakfast was delicious and served in a charming courtyard setting—an experience in itself. I also enjoyed a traditional hammam and massage arranged by the riad, which was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Location-wise, the riad is ideally situated within walking distance to many of Marrakech's key attractions, yet still offers a peaceful retreat from the busy streets. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and luxurious experience in the heart of Marrakech.

We stayed at Riad Tiwaline for a week. On arrival from the airport, our taxi was matched at the car park by a young man from the main Riad, Si Said. He helped with our luggage and took us to reception. We had a lovely welcome and whilst passports were being logged and our luggage transported to the.Tivaline we were offered mint tea and some tasty small pastries. For a deposit we were given a mobile phone, in order that if we had any problems we could phone the hotel, whose number was programmed into the phone. We also had access to Maps on the phone in case we got lost through the myriad of alleyways and shopping lanes. We were then taken the short walk to the Tiwaline. The Tiwaline has just six guest rooms over three floors. It is a lovely old building and it immediately felt calm and welcoming. There is a roof terrace, which sadly we didn’t get much use from as the weather was really quite chilly for the time of year. There were two really comfortable lounge seating areas and the courtyard offered a further seating area plus the chairs and tables for breakfast in the mornings. After the hustle and bustle of the city, the.Riad offered peace and calm on your return. Zachariah attended us at breakfast. He was efficient and welcoming. The breakfast was a good start to the day. Although you choose your breakfast the day before from the card left in your room, the staff never complained if you decided to change your mind. My husband really enjoyed the omelettes. The cake offered at breakfast was lovely and most mornings we would ask Zachariah if we could take it with us for later. It was lovely to return to the. Riad in the afternoon and make a cup of tea to have with a cake. We never got to meet the lady cooking breakfast, but she did a fab job! As did the housekeeping team. The Riad was spotlessly clean. Plenty of tea and coffee. Freshwater was available to refill bottles. Toiletries provided. The bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at the Si Said. Do not expect fast food! The food is cooked to order and it’s clear that the chef enjoys his job. The meals are delicious and very well presented. The food in Morocco was for me the surprise highlight of the trip. I don’t enjoy particularly large meals but I do enjoy tasty food and love to try new dishes. The Moroccans really know how to use the spices available to them. Eating out in Morocco is similar in price to the UK in the quality restaurants and cafés. However, in most the food is outstanding and it is well worth trying local dishes and not necessarily just sticking to a tajine. . Visit the spice souk nearby Andy our will see and smell all the wonderful spices that the Moroccans have access to use. The Riad is extremely well situated and only a short walk from the Palace Bahia. 10 minute walk from the main square, Jemaa el Fnaa. Closer in the other direction is the tin smiths square or Place des Ferblantiers. A fab place for coffee or lunch and watching the world go by. If you want to avoid the hawker in the area, go to the upper floor of the Kosy Bar. If you want to go on a trip to the Atlas mountains, I would suggest you ask the hotel for a reputable company to take you, or book directly through them. Ensure you clarify at the time exactly what is included in the trip.It may cost more but probably worth it. We booked a trip with someone who looked and sounded very plausible, based in the tin smith’s square. Although we were told everything was included, when we finished part of the trip with the guide, he then demanded an additional.100MAD (approx£10) per person. We would absolutely return to the Angsana Riads again. We were very pleased with the. Tiwaline but also heard good things of the.Riad Blanc which is part of their collection and close by, so perhaps would there.

Great riad very well located in the Medina. Amazing service from the Staff especially Mohamed who was very helpful all along the week. Breakfast are typically marocan and very good. The only negative point, the evening are a bit noise as the restaurant is always full u til 10:30 pm but a details compare to the rest of the experience. A great place to go.

The entire staff team were friendly and provided exceptional service. We felt extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our enquiries were answered quickly before we arrived. The staff helped us with luggage from the taxi to the Riad as it is inaccessible by car, provided a welcome tea and sweet treats on arrival, assisted with restaurant bookings , even escorting us to one and let us check out an hour later than due. The room was lovely, spacious and immaculate, decorated in true Moroccan style. There was a daily change of essential oils provided to burn in the room and a lovely gift of a mini tagine. Breakfast was absolutely delicious comprising of fresh fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, a variety of breads, cakes & pancakes, jams, choice of egg dishes and fresh tea and coffee. The staff also made a delicious and unexpected birthday cake for my husband, which we both really appreciated. Thank You.
Cons: It would be quieter to have a room on the levels above the ground floor, just because breakfast is served from 7.30am on the ground floor, but this did not mar our stay in any way.

Fabulous first visit to Marrakech. We stayed in the Road si Said and were met in the nearby parking area on arrival. The Road arranged our return airport transfers which was smooth and hassle free. Despite arriving early, our room was ready for us and whilst we enjoyed a truly delightful mint tea and Moroccan pastry platter as we checked in, our luggage was swiftly taken to our room. Throughout our stay, the staff could not have been better. They were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent - it was such a nice change to have the opportunity to try local specialties for breakfast. The freshly squeezed orange juice was out of this world! The location of our Riad was ideal - a stone’s throw from the chaos of the medina yet the Riad was a haven of peace and tranquility. Would thoroughly recommend!

The important thing to recognize with Marrakesh is the location and type of your hotel influences the experience you will have. If you are looking for an authentic Moroccan experience inside the Medina this location is perfect. You have an easy 2-3 minute walk to one of the main streets in Medina. The Bahia Palace and Culinary Museum for cooking class also just a few feet away. The exceptional team will make you feel like you have arrived at your Moroccan home. The Riad Blanc suite I stayed in was beautifully appointed with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was large. Plenty of space to unpack in to wardrobes. A small mini fridge was in the room where I was able to store my water bottle filled from a water cooler in the courtyard. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and comfortable my entire trip. Mohamed, Kamal, Mr. Mahman and the whole team went above and beyond to make my experience special. They even procured a tagine for me to bring home when stores closed early to break fast. The ladies in the Riad Bab Firdhous Hamman provided a relaxing and unique experience. Breakfast is included and extensive. There are rooftops at the Riads but if you are a sun worshipper looking for a place to get a tan next to a pool this is not the place. The knowledge of the whole team and their willingness to go above and beyond made this 5 day trip a memorable Moroccan adventure that I hope is the first of many.

This was an idyllic riad near much of the medina. The service was outstanding. They met us near the tombs where we were let off, and guided us through the side alleys personally. After making us feel welcome and settled with our very early check-in, they supplied us with a phone for navigation and to call the hotel if we needed something. Their environmental awareness is string too. Very little in the way of disposables. They supply safe filtered water and refill the soaps, etc. The courtyard is beautiful as was our room. Service was always with a smile.

Beautiful Riad experience. Very quiet and staff was tremendously friendly and helpful. Conveniently located to all restaurants, shops and museums / attractions. Did not compromise on comfort, style and premium-ness for the sake of staying in a Riad in the Medina. Many great home goods and rug shops around the corner. Visit Mohammed just down the corridor of the Riad. He’s such a lovely man and very reasonable and fair pricing for rugs & ceramics. I will 1000% stay here again!

The staff were both polite and helpful and the accommodation itself was exactly as described.. we enjoyed our traditional breakfasts in the courtyard of our riad, and Mohammed our waiter looked after us extremely well. I cannot fault the staff or the accommodation..
Cons: We were not happy about having to walk through a building site to get to and from our riad. I mean literally walk through it.. piles of rubble lined the walls of the narrow street and the wooden scaffolding above looked very precarious.. Whilst we understand they need to repair the damage done by the earthquake last year we question letting guests stay in accommodation next to these repair works. We asked to be moved to the main Riad but there was no availability.. 3 of the riads are accessed by the street with the building works referred to so we were not alone traversing the cement mixing etc!

The staff were very helpful. Let them take you to meet taxis since they cannot get to the door. The breakfast was good and filling. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: Be aware that there are sometimes drain smells and you need to leave windows open for a while. We stayed in Lydines which is about 15 minutes walk from the other riads. There was no restaurant or bar at Lydines but this wasn't a problem because the 5 star Almaha hotel is just around the corner. Nevertheless, the hotel is well located in the Casbah and an easy walk to the main Fnaa square.

Excellently located near a convenient taxi drop off point, not something every riad can claim in the Medina. Not far from the Bahia Palace it was in easy walking distance of much to see. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The riad itself is beautiful. The location of the riad is good, pretty much everything within the Medina is within walking distance.
Cons: Our room was small, and there was very little privacy. It was basic, but we expected more for that price. Also staying at a riad in the medina meant we heard quite some noise from outside and the other guests in the riad. Good to be aware of this. It wasn’t explained to us, but we ended up staying in a different building than what we read on Booking, slightly further out of the Medina. Still a good location though, but 10-15min further out by foot.

Our stay at Riad Bab Firdaous within the Angsana Riads collection was nothing short of perfection. The attention to detail and guest satisfaction was evident from the start. Facing an adapter hiccup upon arrival, the staff swiftly provided a solution, exemplifying their commitment to guest comfort. The thoughtful provision of a phone for the duration of our stay showcased their dedication to convenience. We indulged in a couples Hammam and massage, a truly 5-star experience leaving us thoroughly rejuvenated. The included breakfast was not only delicious but also served with impeccable hospitality. The strategic location, merely a 7-minute walk from Jma el Fna and a 5-minute walk from Bahia Palace, made exploring the surroundings effortless. With essential amenities like a taxi rank, ATM, and pharmacy within a minute's reach, the Riad Bab Firdaous ensured that every guest's needs were met seamlessly. In essence, our stay was characterized by exceptional service, luxurious amenities, and a prime location, making it a memorable and delightful experience.

Cons: Only negative thing was the water pressure in the shower, it took a long time to wash the hair. Although our flight was delayed until 2am, we were picked up at the airport and brought to the riad. Please remember to specify the number of people to accommodate the vehicle. Mohamed and the others were very friendly and helpful, just like Moroccan hospitality! A real Moroccan breakfast 10/10: no fake French breakfast with croissants. Everything was natural, local, of high quality, and the various crepes and breads cooked on the spot: amlou, fruits, juice, honey, olive oil, white barley soup, etc. Amine, our waiter was excellent during our stay. The cook was also excellent. A Moroccan stay with European standards.

We booked a different Riad Bab Ferdaous because of its new and fresh feel and the in-house hammam. At arrival (in then evening) we were unexpectedly moved to Si Said. Si Said has got the history oozing out of every part, which in itself could be great for anyone looking for that. What we loved most of our stay at Si Said, was the hugely warm, welcoming and helpful staff. Our hammam experience in Riad Bab Ferdaous was fantastic! Breakfasts at Si Said were wonderful and huge!
Cons: We stayed in the Lady of the House suite. It has history, it's huge, and... it could do with a bit of caretaking/renovation/love. In all honesty it felt a bit tired and abandoned.

We enjoyed a romantic memorable stay at Riad Blanc which was beautifully furnished, quiet, had a lovely pool and spacious roof terraces. All rooms had hand decorated furniture, good showers and air conditioning. We particularly liked that all riads were environmentally friendly with refillable water machines to avoid plastic bottles, also shampoos & shower gels were also refilled in each rooms. Staff were professional, friendly and very helpful, they arranged a surprised birthday cake for my husband’s birthday - thank you. The location was convenient and central, short walk to the Fnaa Sq and Bahia Palace yet the area was peaceful and safe even in the evenings. Food was consistently good and they accommodated vegeterian and different dietary needs. Breakfasts included home made pancakes and home made jams. Even if you are not staying at there, it would be a worth while to visit the restaurant for a meal. Spa had good facilities - hamman, a jet pool and amazing therapist, just amazing! Overall excellent stay and we would highly recommend.

This property has 6 different traditional riads for you to enjoy in a quiet safe neighbourhood. Staff work very hard to help guests and food at the restaurant was delicious yet reasonably priced that we ended up eating there a few nights, it was much better than other touristy restaurants in Medina. Spa is run by Banyan Tree spa trained therapists from Indonesia and the treatments were excellent, this is one of the reasons we chose this riad. We had opportunity to stay in different riads with beautiful pools and sun terraces. This hotel is definitely one of the best traditional riads in the old town with 5 star service, multi-lingual staff, good showers and bath with plenty of hot water, all bedrooms are air conditioned. They offer excellent value for money and we had memorable stay. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. Thank you very much.

Sometimes life hands you a gem. That gem is Angsana Riads. The riad is gorgeous. At over 300 years old the building has character and charm that is breathtaking in every carving of the gorgeous pillars within the courtyard walls, to the brilliant tiling and special fountains that adorn the dining areas. The hotel itself is gorgeous and close enough to the Jema El Fna that you can walk everywhere. Breakfast is a lovely and custom spread, with fresh breads, pastries and fruits along with delicious mint tea and eggs cooked your way. The dinner is some of the best food I’ve had, and I’m picky. Nothing compares to the staff though. They are amazing and accommodating and have perfected their jobs beyond my wildest expectations. Amin specifically was a favorite of ours, so gracious and helpful. The front desk assisted us on everything from getting us a top notch guide for the city to walking me to a store so I would not get lost or have trouble communicating. I was so sad to leave, and was treated with nothing but respect and overwhelming kindness all week. The rooftop is gorgeous, the pool is darling, and each room is perfected and curated in a beautiful Moroccan style that is stunning no matter how often you see it. From the time we checked in and they served mint tea, and assured us we would be accommodated as best they could, to their warm send off at the end of the week they shone brighter than any star you can see from the rooftop. We home to make this place our home again.

The support staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and that we were comfortable. The Riad itself was absolutely stunning with so much architectural detail. The facilities were extremely clean and quiet, allowing us to relax and unwind after a long trip to the desert. The Spa facility was wonderful and relaxing and restaurant served delicious food. We could not have asked for a better stay! Thank you!

Perfect for a very central stay in the old part of the city of marrakech. Stayed at Riad Dar Zaouia (1 min walk from the reception at si said) and also Riad Si Said - both rooms were lovely and very comfortable / quiet. Riad si said has a pool and also a large roof terrace. Staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. Si said is the main reception building but they did supply a phone to reach them at any time with any problems when staying in one of the other riads in their collection. You can use any of the facilities at any of the riads in the collection. The spa was also relaxing. Make sure to book the hotel airport transfer as taxis are keen to overcharge. Airport transfer organised by the hotel was very comfortable. Overall a brilliant stay in marrakech with very good and friendly service.

Very disappointed and feeling injured. This never happened. I paid for two two-bed rooms large and comfortable superior category as in the photo presented by Expedia and the hotel put us in another infinitely lower category, in another street building, in a lower level place than booked by myself. I have photos to compare with what I was offered and what I booked. We blame Expedia for offering me a category and photos of what they do not have. I arrived early at the hotel and as room was not available we went out for a full day tour. On our return, tired, we had to face this absurd and disrespectful situation. Without having somewhere to go in an unknown place, already night, we were forced to accept but we will stay only one night here, the two that we booked. I hope for a proactive action from Expedia because I paid for something I did not get to enjoy in Marrakech. I am waiting for your answer.

Gorgeous traditional Riad with lovely kind staff who look after you. Beautiful building with sun terrace in higgledy streets just a little south of very central part of the walled city of Medina - a great location. The very fab Kasbah Cafe is less than 10 minutes walk away where you sup mint tea overlooking beautiful palace and huge storks nest. Breakfast at Angsana is hearty, lots of croissants, pasties and cake, but you can order fruit or omelette for a less calorific option. No evening food there, but there's takeout delivered or there's plenty on offer at their sister hotel where you can also get (expensive) wine, but we went out locally and ate very well indeed without the booze as is traditional. WiFi is a little slow. Parts of the roof was a tiny bit leaky in places, under pressure of the extreme rain we had, but I'd definitely stay again, it's great.

Our first night in Marrakech was a real eye opener!! The Angsana Riads are fabulous, the staff could not do enough, location is good on edge of Medina and only 10 mins walk from the famous Jemaa el Fna square. Best breakfasts of the whole trip. Would definitely use as our base again.

The hotel is well located in a quiet spot in the Medina. We had one large suite and one comfort room. The suite was enormous and well appointed, but the comfort room was very small and basic. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, especially Mohamed. Luc, the manager, was also a good source of information about what to see and do and where to eat.

It's right in the centre but it's all peace and quiet. The riad's are very pleasant and the setting is very calming. The staff is super friendly. Especial mention of Yussuf from the breakfast service. That guy is selfless love to the world, so kind he is. Overal very happy with my stay in Angsana Riad's. One minor thing: They do charge a fee of 36,60 a night on top of it which is a shame. They should have made this inclusive in the deal they offer so there are no surprises.

Be careful when booking this riad. There are 2 Angsana Riads in Marrakesh. I wanted to stay in the one with luxury bedrooms shown in Expedia but was sent to the inferior riad. The address in Expedia was wrong (it was for a restaurant) so arriving at the riad was a nightmare. The breakfasts were great and staff very helpful in arranging restaurants and taxis (although the latter weren’t very punctual). I won’t go back as I don’t like being deceived and there are better value riads in Marrakesh. Angsana riads should be deleted from Expedia until they make it clear which riad is which and provide accurate prices and addresses.

Completely different from what we found on the website and when we reached there.. filthy rooms, cockroaches coming out of the bathroom, very poor approach have to drag bags for 500 meters, no restaurant, breakfast was only bread and jam!! Stayed only 1 night out of the total 4 nights .. most horrible experience ever.. I am even surprised that this is Angsana property

A large wooden door in a Marrakech street opens to an amazing courtyard garden complete with fountain and pillared balcony. Quiet and secluded, the perfect retreat from the busy, noisy buzz of the Marrakech souks. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the staff were extremely attentive with nothing too much trouble. Great location for restaurants, markets and the main square. We will be going back next year for a long weekend.

Very friendly staff, gave recommendations about nearby shops and places to visit, and helped us haggle with a taxi for a good fare to the airport. Provided a local phone so I can easily get in touch if I needed anything while out and about in Marrakech (and I did!). Beautiful, clean and serene surroundings. Excellent amenities with free water from common dispenser (essential in summer). I slept well and loved my one-night stay.

I stayed a week at Riad Si Said and had a wonderful time. This lovely riad is very central, within the Medina (old town) and close to all of the main locations - just a 10min walk to Djemaa el Fna. The staff were superb and very attentive, as well as very friendly. They were keen to accommodate any request, no matter how big or small. The breakfast was very tasty and filling - a very welcome and much needed start to the day. All in all, I would definitely recommend this riad. It was a safe, calm, peaceful, clean and relaxing place to stay.

I have travelled all over the world and stayed in hundreds and hundreds of hotels and I would rank the Angsana in the top five hotels I have stayed at without question. It is an authentic and traditional Riad, beautifully restored, right in the heart of the Medina, with the most wonderful and friendly staff and the most incredible Moroccan food served in their courtyard restaurant. When you enter the hotel, the hustle and bustle of Marrakech is replaced with peace and tranquility. An oasis in the heart of a vibrant and exciting city. You really feel the culture of Morocco and more importantly you feel a part of it.

We stayed in the main Riad building (there are 6 in total), which had the advantage of the restaurant and pool being under the same roof. The property is well appointed with interesting and diverse art and architecture. It is a bit of a maze inside as the old building has been divided up in ways not originally intended. We had a large suite which was at the top of two flights of steep stairs (AFTER entering the suite). A little odd, but quite comfortable once up there. Staff was uniformly professional and friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

It’s pot luck if you stay in the main Riad Si Said represented in the images. We stayed in Riad Bab Firdaus that ihosts the Spa. Whilst only 3 minutes from the main Riad, where breakfast is provided this Riad is not staffed and the roof terrace is poorly equipped with a few loungers. Main Riad Si Said restaurant and service is very good. Had we stayed there my rating would would also be 5.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay with the Angsana collection there were 2 issues which they did not rectify. The first was that we were not given a room in the riad we had been told we would be staying in, and so were not as central as we would have liked. The second was that the Riad was understaffed so that we had to be very insistent about having our breakfast on the roof terrace. The staff were very kind and helpful and we would recommend staying in a Riad rather than a hotel

This Riad could also be considered a 5 star hotel. The staff is exceptional. It was our first time to Morocco and they helped explain the city, provided maps, and a cell phone to call them on in case we got lost. We planned to travel the next day and a staff member even went out and bought our train ticket for us. They were exceptional. The Riad was incredibly beautiful, the tiled walls, beautiful carpets and art on the walls. The entire Riad smells incredible of the local flavors. They even have amenities in the room waiting for you upon your arrival. We were so satisfied with this Riad we would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed 3 nights a this lovely riad. It is one of a group of riads managed by Angsana. We initally had trouble finding the place because it is located on a quite alley away from the noisy main road in the souk. But once we entered the property, we were shocked by its beauty and its traditional charm. The property was beautifully renovated and kept in good shape. The staff couldn't be nicer and more attentive. Breakfasts which are included in our rates come with pastry basket plus a la carte items on the menu. Our room was comfortable with a lot of Moroccan design details. We even had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at Angsana collection hotel in Marrakech last week. We stayed for 5 nights. I had been in communication with Angsana manager Mrs. Nadia Oujibat for last few weeks. She is outstanding in responding to questions and offering helping with booking tours etc. When we arrived, couple of Angsana staff members took our luggage from the parking to the Riad. We had booked the suite with two rooms. It was beyond our expectations. It was more than perfect in very detail. The suite was decorated antique tiles, ceiling and furniture but everything was in excellent condition. It felt like that we were in palace room. The Riad helped us booking trip. Riad’s manager Mr. Luc helped with all the tours and spent a lot of effort to make sure that our family get the best and comfortable trips outside Marrakech. The night before we were leaving, Mr. Luc arranged a formal dinner for our family with two waiters only dedicated for us. Every staff member at the Riad was very pleasant and friendly. Every time, we sat in the common room with fireplace, they offered us tea or deserts. We have travelled in lot of countries but this was the best ever stay we had in a hotel. We are planning to go back to Marrakech again a in a year and will stay in this property for sure.

I traveled to Angsana as a female with one other female. The hustle and craziness of Morocco can be a bit overwhelming but the staff made us feel safe, welcome and at home. They went out of the way to ensure we were always happy content and safe. So much so that either Cous Cous (his nickname) or other security would meet us in a crowded area every night and walk us safely to our room. One night, Cous Cous even walked all the way to the square because it was a bit late and as two females we wanted to feel more safe. All if all the rooms were cute, clean, cozy and the distance was a very easy walk to the main market. The only issue we had (which turned out to be quite pricey) was that the wifi in our room was horrible. Being that our carrier didn't allow for international coverage in Morocco at all, our only hope was wifi and to not have reliable or strong service in our hotel room resulted in a very high bill.

Angsana Riads are perfectly situated within walking distance from the main square, souks and palaces. The staff and Service is beyond all that I could expect. Nadia had contacted me prior to my visit to make sure all my needs were met and I felt so assured. Check in was great with mini pastries and drink as they took the time to get to know us . So professional yet warm. We were given a phone too in case we ever needed assistance or guidance. A huge help for any tourist. Our raid had a spa below and the smell was incredible, the place quite and tranquil! Each morning we stared off with a lovely breakfast before setting off on our day. Staff will go out of their way to greet you, walk you to a place and help you. We would definitely stay at the same raid on our next trip to Marrakech. A huge thanks to all the staff for such a memorable stay!

The staff was very friendly but the facility is in bad condition. Two days before our checking out, I told the front desk to cancel our shuttle reservation but he was so reluctant to do it. They don't have shuttle but car anyway and charge $170 to the airport. However a Texi driver offered $100. The shower dead was broken and bathroom was that clean. We need to have sippers when taking showers.

This is not your regular 5 stars hotel. The reception and our room was desperate but close to each other. Basically a Riad is like a house with rooms. The rooms are clean and get cleaned and tied everyday. The he breakfast is no an open buffet, only what's on the menus which is limited.

My mum and I had a great experience at Angsana from check in to departure. Every member of staff were extremely friendly and catered to all our needs including providing ground floor room and assistance for my mum who has mobility issues, and serving breakfast before opening for our early morning flight. Would be a good choice if you want to be close to old city. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My recommendation is pool should be heated water as it is not possible to use it due to the fact that it is under the shade and overall area is cold. Also rooftops would be used more and would have more welcoming feel if decorated in better syle.

My friends and I stayed there for four days. The rooms stayed true to the historical architect. The entire staff was really nice, including the gentlman named Couscous! We ate all over town only to return back to the hotel restaurant. The fish was a small portion but very tasty. My friends loved the lamb and honey chicken. It was the best we had in Marakesh. Very flavorful! Since our flight was leaving early in the morning, they bought us our breakfast before we left for the airport. Very thoughful. The staff were very attentative. They provided us with phones which we used to call the front desk and one another just to coordinate, at no cost. It had a very intimate feel. I would stay there again if I returned. It was walking distance to catch cabs and also to the market area and square. The rooms stayed true to the traditional architecture. My freinds had the massage and hamam there which they enjoyed.

this hotel is all about service. the staff go out of their way to get things sorted for you. they have valuable advice they book excellent restaurants they get things delivered to your room and all from the goodness of their heart. it is a collection of different Riads. this affords privacy. it felt like we had our own house. we didn't use the spa and frankly there are cheaper spas in the area. breakfast is good too and in terms of location you can't ask for better. djemma el fna is a short walk away and other attractions such as bahia palace etc are at your doorstep. definitely would recommend and come back here.

When I was shown my room, I was blown away by how spacious it was - a separate sitting area, a huge bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a beautiful old bathtub and shower. I love that the company is restoring its properties and preserving the original work as much as possible, instead of completely gutting them. The hotel amenities (spa and restaurant) were also top-notch, and the staff could not be friendlier or more attentive.

The best part was its not very far from jama el fana (square market) it's around 10 mins walk to where the main attraction is. The hotel comprises a collection of six properties which are scattered across a small area near the Musee Dar Si Said. Main riad has all amenities (except spa). However, other more obscure buildings are very basic. Rooms are tiny even as levels improve. Wifi in some buildings is to standard, whilst in others is non-existent and hotel has a major issue in maintaining consistency throughout the properties. Furniture in some rooms are dated (and in some cases dangerous), whilst in others are to standard. I know this because I went through three rooms before settling on one which was alright. All in all, the hotel is not befitting of an Angsana property - I booked principally because of the brand's strong presence with its Banyan Tree properties here in the UAE. However much was left to be desired. Except... for the staff, who for the most part were courteous and went out of their way to assist and provide information. My review is somewhat coloured by my experience in Marrakesh itself. We visited in July and the heat was sweltering. The old town in Marrakesh does not have the infrastructure to deal with this weather and street cafes, shops and places for tourists to visit do not have air conditioning. In addition to this, street traders are often pushy and get annoyed if you don't buy one of their trinkets or eat the poor fare served at their eateries. For what its worth, the freshly squeezed juices are excellent.
