Very very nice. Rooms are very large, service is impeccable. Rooms are very clean We had an early morning schedule, about 1 jour before normal breakfast, but we were accommodated to meet our schedule. We ate at the Riad both of the nights we were there. Beautiful surroundings, great service and delicious food. Great experience

There was a fridge in our room and we had a cold bottle of water every morning. The people working and the services and especially the food (both dinner and breakfasts) were incredible. The room was elegant, the walls weren't thin. The location was lovely. Honestly, I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I returned to Fez.

Cons: Can't actually think of anything I didn't like.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful (especially at reception and Bryan (sp?)- he consistently went out of his way for us). Having a small bar in the lobby area was a nice feature to enjoy a cocktail before or after dinner. The bar area (and the entire Riad) has a very nice atmosphere. The location is right in the medina on a quiet side alley, which made it convenient for shopping and enjoying the medina, but a very peaceful spot. We're very glad to have stayed here. It was a highlight of our 2 week trip.

If I could give this place a MINUS Zero I would.

Cons: Rude, pushy, No Power, no one around to ask. Terrible service. Zero communication, even before check in. Do not respond to messages and still trying to get a refund. Do not even have the common decency to respond to me. You cannot stay somewhere that has no power and not be compensated especially when it is supposed to be 4 stars. Utterly disappointed.

Absolutely gorgeous riad but not a great stay. Staff not at all warm, helpful or welcoming; breakfast extremely mediocre. Room very pretty but not comfortable and bathroom smelled of sewer gas. For a 5-Star hotel, I would’ve expected small touches like e.g., replenishing the bottled water or taking away day old welcome pastries, but that didn’t happen. Very disappointing.

Beautiful Riad with great customer friendly staff. The Riad was built in the 17th century and has magnificent architectural detail. Our room (concubine room ) was large with an amazingly beautiful bathroom. Four poster bed that was supremely comfortable- we slept very well. Nice breakfast and great, quiet location off the main street and easy entry to the souk. We loved it here!

Great place better than expected But I have a suggestion for the owner I see that you have a bar over there and he is in the knowledge capital of the Muslim word I wish you would’ve show some respect and hide the bar and only give it to the people who ask for that way he can respect the people that they don’t drink and accommodate the people that they drink But at the end, I wish she takes it out completely. He has a beautiful place people gonna come to him no matter what.

This is the most spectacular hotel we have ever stayed. It is so unassuming from the outside but once you step inside it is of palatial proportions and decor. We were in awe of how ornate this hotel is. Even the rooms were beautiful! Despite it being a historic building, the comforts were of the highest quality. We had an amazing stay. The staff were super helpful and provided the best service. They even went out of their way to make breakfast for us at 6 am. I would give this hotel a 200 out of a 100 if I could.

We stayed at the Riad Myra for 3 nights. This place is jaw-droppingly beautiful! The courtyard is spectacular with the fountain and blue tile. Our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. We had breakfast 3 days and each time the offerings were a little bit different. We also had lunch and dinner and the food and service was outstanding! A shout out to Brahim (spelling?) as he always greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a wonderful place to stay in Fes!

Absolutely beautiful riad. We stayed for 2 nights and it was the perfect location, stunning, clean and the staff were so helpful and hospitable. I asked to change rooms and they were so kind and helpful and made me feel very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and there is a bar for those who want a glass of wine beer or spirits. I don’t know why the trip advisor rating is 4.5 stars it is 5 star all the way. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and tranquil place to stay. Thankyou to all the staff for making us feel welcome. This place is stunning. Breakfast in the courtyard is the most perfect way to start your day in Morocco. Food was divine and slightly different each of the 3 days we stayed. We didn’t eat dinner here but it smelled terrific. We had a few drinks in the bar which was nice and subdued way to end our days. We also did a hamman experience which was an amazing experience - It’s not for everyone but we loved it.

Cons: It’s a shame they don’t do more with the rooftop terrace. We went up a few times and were the only guests up there, was nice but they could make it more of an experience for sunset drinks. Also bring some ear plugs - if you’re in the courtyard facing rooms you may hear low level noise from people eating breakfast or dinner. We had ear plugs and slept well

We love this Riad. The room is fabulous. The staff was wonderful and the spaces to relax, reflect artisanal craftsmanship., plaster, wood, a fountain and mosaics. Lovely roof top space to relax. One of our favorites in Morocco. We also suggest dining in the restaurant and the breakfast beignets or donuts, freshly made were divine.

What a wonderful surprise! The property had just 14 hotel rooms, but they were all very large and beautiful! It was built in the 15th century as a large private home and converted into a hotel around 20 years ago. I can’t express how wonderful it was to spend time there.

A truly exquisite experience of Fes, located in the central medina. The Riad has incredible food served in a romantic and intimate setting, the service is attentive and so thoughtful, and there's a great rooftop where you can relax and also enjoy the best of Fes at sunrise or sunset. Really special experience.

The Riad was stunningly beautiful and full of charm. A real oasis of peace. Our room was palatial - huge and beautifully equipped with a huge door leading onto the courtyard with a fountain.

Cons: The breakfast was very good but instead of leaving things on the table to self-serve we had to ask. For example refills of coffee - instead of a flask (as other Riads use) we had to ask.

Riad Myra is a beautiful property. The Riad itself is stunningly decorated, particularly the internal courtyard (which is even more beautiful than in the photos!). The rooms (and property as a whole) were spotlessly clean. We stayed in a double room on the third floor and it was very comfortable and, again, beautifully decorated. Large bathroom with a nice shower and bath, with fresh towels and toiletries provided every day. The roof terrace was undergoing renovations whilst we were staying but you could see that - once completed - it would be a great place to hang out. The breakfast provided each morning, included in the price, was very adequate and enjoyed within the stunning internal courtyard. Riad Myra’s location, just five minutes from the blue gate, is very convenient and a perfect place to explore the old medina from. Not too difficult to find either, compared to some of the Riads we saw in the heart of the Medina.

Cons: On the whole it is hard to find any fault with Riad Myra, however very minor improvements could be made. It would be good if reception could provide a map of the area and maybe some suggestions for restaurants, cafes etc. We asked and they did not have any such information. The wifi did not work for the last 24 hours of our stay, which was a bit of a pain and, again, the staff were not forthcoming with an apology or a suggestion for local internet cafe when asked.

Amazing riyad with the warmest of staff and helpful. We had a dinner and breakfast here. Dinner was pastilla for the vegetarians and lamb tagine for the others. Breakfast was served at the table each day and an assortment of made to order eggs , pancakes, breads , fresh fruit salad and fresh orange juice with coffee or tea. They have rooms of all sizes and some very spacious and some small.  The bathrooms had modern faucets and water pressure was great. Some rooms are like up a turret and a bit of a hard climb. The courtyard is beautiful and a good place to hangout. Like most riyads rooms are a bit illventilated. One of the best Riyads we stayed in during our trip to Morocco.

the location is great, the hotel is gorgeous, breakfast is wonderful. staff is very friendly. overwall we enjoyed our stay.

Cons: first day the breakfast variation was great, including fresh oat porridge and eggs. But the next day felt like a letdown. Maybe it was because the manager wasn't around. we set in the dark having breakfast and they didn't searve us porridge and eggs and the pastries were less appealing compared to the previous day. But overall the breakfast was still great, just not as good as first day.

Although i’m a Moroccan, however it is my first time i visit Fes as a tourist (with my family) and with some greats friends who came from the USA (as family)to visit Morocco the first time: Fes is really a must to visit, however to make your journey great in Fes/Morocco, this luxury Riad is really unbelievable with high value for money and great service. An other important id love to add is to have one of these very high professionals tour guides (elhakim or ahmed)they can be contacted by the riad, they made our journey in Fes for me as local and for my friends unforgettable and very inspiring and interesting thank you Riad myra and thank you elhakim and ahmed

We chose this place primarily because it seemed more like an organic and cozy Riad compared to all the other posh Riads in the Old Quarter that came with a ‘luxury boutique’ vibe which felt a bit contrived. And this fabulous place lived up to our expectations to the tee! While the decor and design were not too overboard they did have the right amount of heritage charm. The Room had such a romantic riad charm with colorful tiles and vintage beds etc. LOCATION: Excellent location with easy access to the main roads(for cab/car pick up) as well as a quick walk to all key points of interest in the Medina DINE + DRINK: A lovely courtyard setting for the restaurant and an uber-cool vintage vibe for the bar made this a perfect place to spend our entire evening without having to step out. They do have a decent selection of local wines too. ROOM: We stayed in one of the Suites, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Came with a lovely Sofa / Living area along with a corner bedding area; VIEW: View of the courtyard; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa-quality toiletries FACILITIES: No Gym or Pool, pure Riad Chill! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to MOHAMMED who attended to all our needs including hosting us at the bar/courtyard during the evening HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Food was great, location great

Cons: Air conditioner did not work properly and only blew hot air. Mini frig temperature was not cool. Check out was delayed as no one was there, regardless of our notifying the staff that we planned to depart at 0815. Plus, once the manager arrived, only after the concierge telephoned her several times that we were waiting, she could not get the credit card machine to work properly!

We stayed at Riad Myra for 3 nights on holiday in the La Concupine suite which was simply fantastic!! Huge king size bed – clean and beautifully decorated. Excellent location – near the medina. Price reasonable. All staff were extremely attentive, polite, courteous – spoke many different languages including English. Special thanks to Safa, Khouthar and Zinab. Breakfast was very filling – a variety of options. Delicious dinner available at the Riad – sufficient variety on offer. Manager Ibrahim is just the sweetest kindest man who tried to accommodate all our requests with a big smile. Thank You Ibrahim 😊 Once you walk through the front door, you will be left speechless with the beauty inside – just amazing Riad!!! Very spacious. When the roof opens – little birds can fly inside. The chirping of the birds and the trickling of the fountain sets a beautiful, serene environment – you just do not want to leave. We highly recommend Riad Myra

The location of this riad is perfect: three minutes walking distance from the blue gate. Although in the middle of medina, it was very quiet and safe. The room was very cosy, clean and comfortable, furnished in typical Fez style. The staff fantastic, always available, polite and very helpful. The interior of this riad was outstanding: blue tiles everywhere, mosaics and Moroccan furniture. You literally live the atmosphere of medina with a luxury accommodation. My wife booked the hammam that was superb; we also tried the food prepared for us by the cook that was delicious. Definitely recommended.

Cons: Everything was perfect!

The room and the courtyard absolutely gorgeous, it’s quite accessible from the road. Loved it

Cons: First incident- when I arrived at the Medina in Fez, my driver had called the hotel to come pick me up and help with luggage , we waited and waited and nobody came, eventually I had to find my way and hope that I wouldn’t get lost. Second- I had checked in from a long road-trip so immediately I got in, went straight to bed. For some reason that I still have no idea why, the butler kept knocking on my door over and over again rudely interrupting my sleep. The one time I answered, he said it was to get my passport but I already submitted my passport copy on check-in. He still came back again and this time I just ignored because there’s absolutely nothing that couldn’t wait till morning.

Everything about this historical Riad tucked into the Old Medina of Fez is magical. The space is stunning - soaring room ceilings, a three story glass covered inner courtyard that is an art and architectural dream of intricate carved stucco walls, carved cedar ceilings and doorways, and hand crafted geometric mosaic floors. The delicious full breakfast included with the room is served in the courtyard. The staff is kind and attentive. The location is in a quiet small street/alley of the Medina, but an easy convenient walk to all Medina sights. Highly recommended.

Riad Myra is very well located within the Medina, with easy access to the souks and the main road. It is a gorgeous riad - luxuriously decorated. The central courtyard was lovely to sit and relax in - we spent two evenings playing cards and sipping mint tea in the courtyard. The breakfast was comprised of the same menu as every other riad in Morocco (we stayed in 8 overall through our 2 week trip) but the food was better quality than you will find on the streets. Laundry was done within 2 hours one day! But the main attraction was the staff - particularly Ibrahim and Zenab, but really everyone - very courteous, friendly and helpful. Ibrahim went above and beyond on all things - he went out to purchase a suitcase for us, and helped us connect on Jumia to order McDonalds in one night; when the online order had issues, he got on the phone to coordinate it with Jumia.

Cons: The massage experience was a little underwhelming. Only relaxing type massages were on offer, no deep tissue etc. And the massage therapist did not communicate well - I was not left alone to undress before the massage, and she just abruptly left the room once the hour was over, with the door ajar, and when I finally caught on and got up to close the door to start dressing again, she barged in without knocking.

A beautiful riad right on the edge of the medina. The riad is a great sight in itself. The restaurant was excellent and the staff kind and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in a traditional Moroccan style. The location couldn't be more convenient - while it is in the medina, it is close enough o Place Batha, so getting there by taxi or car is not a problem. Also, it is just a few steps away from the main sights, such as Bab Bou Jeloud or Medresa Bou Inania. I would definitely come back again. The hammam was also nice.

Cons: While the staff on the spot were super nice and helpful, they would not reply to messages via booking.com or e-mails before our arrival. While according to booking.com we were supposed to get a 45 sq m suite with a separate living room, we got a different, smaller one. Still, it was big enough and we did not complain to the hotel staff so we can't blame them for the mistake.

5 star stay. Excellent experience. Amazing staff. A royal experience. We were a group of guys and landed late into the night but management had contacted us prior for airport to riad accommodation. We were greeted by extremely courteous drivers at the airport. Entering the riad, walking into the rooms, waking up to the beautiful courtyard and greeted by amazing staff with incredible breakfast - is an experience of a lifetime. For couples, friends, just about anyone.. you won't regret this beautiful place. While we had never been to a riad before, this place actually felt like home, warm and cozy. Morocco can be overwhelming especially the Medina and the markets and the tourist traps on the streets but this place is an oasis. Have nothing less to say. We had dinner multiple times and it was good. Dessert is the best!

The Riad was just perfect. We booked two rooms and both were in excellent condition and beautiful. Minibar was full, one room had a bath and one with a shower but lovely traditional setting. Breakfast in the morning was great with fresh orange juice, coffee, mint tea, variety of Moroccan bread and eggs with fresh olive oil. Location was also great you have a few coffee shops and small shops to buy drinks etc only steps away from the riad but bab boujloud or ‘the blue gate’ is roughly a 4 min walk so super close. You have all the shops and small restaurants around there as well. Overall this is a great place to stay. If you’re usually a person who likes nice hotels but don’t mind a touch of traditional then this will be perfect for you. Also the beds are super comfy with lovely bedding.

While Riad Myra is architecturally stunning as most riads in the medina are, the praise stops there. When we checked in, we were taken to the only room on the third floor, which may once have been a maid's quarters and seemed to be the only room that did not have a view of the beautiful courtyard. When I inquired if we could pay extra to have one of the lovely room on the second floor, I was told they were all booked even though the doors on 2 rooms were left open at night and we could see they were empty. For laundry service, they charge appx. $4 per shirt. I was told alternatively that I could drop my laundry at the laundromat down the block and it would be much cheaper. Unfortunately, the laundromat was still closed at 10am when I left with my guide for our tour. My guide suggested that Ibrahim could drop off the laundry when it opened as a courtesy (for which I would have tipped). He responded that it wasn't the hotel's responsibility but would take it as a courtesy. When I returned he told me he took it and they were closed. I found out from my guide later that he lied, the laundromat was open and he never bothered to take it. Worse, he did not smile at us even once during our stay and looked sullen and put out by us. We went to the roof at night to see the view and found workmen who were renovating it bathing in a fountain because they were apparently living there while it was under construction!! I heard scraping chairs above my room all night. There must be better!

My partner and I had a fabulous experience with Riad Myra across all platforms. The rooms where spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful, the Riad itself was stunning with a relaxing feel to the place, with a generous spread at breakfast. The thing that made my experience with Riad Myra unforgettable, was the kindness and family feel provided, in specific by the owner to me. I had some complications at customs, and the owner of the Riad heard about my problem and personally approached me and checked up on me. Once he heard about my situation, he personally drove me around, and helped out every step of the way with officials, shipping companies, translating for me, taking me up and down and being very patient through the daunting process. He asked for nothing in return, except that we where happy, our problem was solved and enjoyed our stay. To me that is something you just wont get from a large scale hotel or many companies without a price tag. I am forever grateful for the experience I had with Riad Myra, if I was to visit Fez again or recommend somewhere to stay in Fez, I would hands down recommend the family hospitality of Riad Myra.

Beautiful riad, very good breakfast, reliable wifi.Easy to find. Loved bathrove but there were no slippers?! Reception girl was very very helpful. Girls and boys whi served brealfast were smiling and charming. It would be nice to tell guests when check8bg 8n that you have to order your dinner from menu after breakfast. We ended up to flow Ibrahim to restaurant next to foubtaib with coloured l8ghts at night and it was total scam.Fixed menu forc250 or 200 MAD where after us arriced 4 big groups of tourists.Waiters were busy, no good service, neither food. Riad Myra have to find way to feed their customers and not reconnend rhem eateries with no good quality of services. Most probably Ivrahum by thus sabotage your riads restaurant as no doubts he as all tour guides get commisiob from the clients delivered.

We were originally booked for 4 nights however upon arrival they were overbooked. They placed us in a nearby Riad, nice but not quite as lovely as Riad Myra. We were in the other Riad for 2 nights. To make things right they treated us to a lovely traditional Moroccon meal one night and we were upgraded to a suite for the remaining two nights. We were more than pleased. This has been by far the best, loveliest, most welcoming Riad we have stayed in Morocco. The service is outstanding and the rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable. Treat yourself and stay here. We would highly recommend this Riad.

A beautiful Riad with easy access from a taxi or walking. The staff are outstanding...helpful and knowledgeable about Fes and surrounding areas. The breakfasts are delicious and served with care and hospitality. We paid a bit more and had a “comfort” room which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but the room made up for it. Bed was comfortable and spotless. A real oasis in the somewhat chaotic Fes. Staff arranged two tours for us which were outstanding. Can't say enough about the place. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was great. We also had dinner while there which was also great. Staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. We discussed options for activities not only around Fes but in other cities as well. We even discussed bargaining for reasonable prices in stores and markets. Everyone was kind and it really felt like a warm stay. The Riad is beautiful right down to the bathroom within our room. A set breakfast is included. Wifi available in all areas. Apologies in advance for the lengthy post, but I wanted to make sure to tell our story in full so other travelers can take it into consideration when making their decisions from among the dozens of high quality places to stay available in this amazing city. I'm a pretty seasoned traveler -- I have been a reviewer on this site since 2003 -- and this is the first hotel I have ever checked into and then immediately back out of. We arrived on a rainy afternoon to find the Riad Myra apparently abandoned, except for a rather indifferent young woman in a parka who despite her ostensible role as the front desk agent on duty seemed hard-pressed to locate our reservation (we had splashed out on a "Suite Prestige," the highest class of room available), even after I showed her the confirmation on my phone and she herself called it up on her computer. We took seats in the absolutely stunning central atrium -- a soaring daylit space with beautiful tile work and a charming fountain -- where after a time someone brought us some very welcome mint tea from the kitchen. After 15 or so minutes of sitting there and speculating on why the woman was having so much trouble with the reservation and why the place seemed so empty, the front door banged open and we got what turned out to be the answer to both questions: a massive tour group of perhaps 16-20 people who were apparently occupying the entire rest of the hotel. As the various members of the group made their way to their rooms, we were in

We have stayed at a few 5 star riads in Morocco. This one is among the few that deserve that rating. Hot water shower seems like a given in a good hotel, but seems to be a luxury in Morocco's best riads. At Riad Myra, the hot water never stopped running! And the king bed was not just two twin beds put together like everywhere else in Morocco! The manager as well as the two clerks Mohammad and Mehdi were fantastic and always at our service. Room was clean, and kept clean daily. The included "continental" breakfast was a breakfast for kings! I would recommend Riad Myra to anyone

This hotel had all the right elements of a good experience, mine was not as much. We were given an "upgrade" to a room on third floor with a strong smell of some kind of oil with candle burning underneath and right on top of a drainage hole. Asked for the removal of it but upon removal the smell of drain started to come in, clearly the oil was there to mask the drainage issue. the smell was really bad unbearable, we asked for the change of room, despite having almost a half empty hotel, the staff kept us there for a night and then to yet another looking room. The interior of the hotel is impressive, breakfasts are good. WIFI comes and goes as it pleases.

The riad itself is beautiful and well designed. The service however was lacking on all parts. The manager made us feel very uncomfortable as he would constantly be watching us without comment and smiling. My wife was really, really uncomfortable with the way he would watch us in silence during breakfast and in between. The wifi disconnected constantly (at least 10 times every hour) and the breakfast was some of the worst we had in Morocco. The eggs were undercooked and the crepe like patties were bland and starchy. Our introduction to the Riad was not well explained and we were under the impression that we could eat dinner whenever. It was only later explained on our last day there that we were supposed to order our meal for dinner 24 hours in advance so the staff could go purchase the ingredients to serve us. The manager booked us a tour guide that cost way more than the standard guide costs (I looked it up after and compared). We already felt as though we could not trust many people in the medinas to give us the right price for services and all and this mistrust was then extended to the Riad when we booked a tour guide. We felt as though the manager was getting a cut of the profits for taking advantage of tourists like us. The women working in the Riad were wonderful and always kind and respectful. Another issue we had was regarding hidden fees. When we checked out of the room we ended up paying an additional $70+ for taxes and fees. I would not return or recommend.

Riad Myra is absolutely stunning. The main room you see in the pictures is even more beautiful in person! We booked a suite which was essentially 4 rooms of space and each room had beautiful wood carvings, stained glass, and mosaics... you essentially were able to see some of the city's biggest exports in just one room. The room was clean, the facility was lovely. We ate breakfast in the mornings at the Riad and had dinner one night; their food was delicious! They also have a lovely rooftop where we drank tea for a few nights and listened to the call to prayer. This hotel was a true five stars, however, thanks to the great service of the staff. The manager on duty was amazingly helpful and accommodating! The Riad is wonderful, makes you feel royal! The recommendations of the manager for food, shopping, and tours were spot on. He arranged for a tour guide for half a day, which was wonderful: we went through otherwise very hard to navigate narrow streets to see authentic handwork. The hotel itself is an ideal mix between tradition and comfort. While everything had an authentic feel, it still was very clean, comfortable and convenient. From the outside it seems very basic and unassuming (like all Riad designs), but once you enter this one, it's like wow. Customer service is truly exceptional. Wonderful stay -- and we would have loved for our trip to be longer. If we go back to Fes (and we should) then this hotel will certainly be on top of our list!

My husband and I loved the traditional style of this Riad, with its beautiful blue tile walls and architecture. Our room was very spacious and elegant, with a large comfortable, four poster bed and a spacious bathroom with a full bathtub and bidet. My only complaint is that I couldn't get hot water when I wanted to take a bath. The water stayed lukewarm. This Riad is around the corner from the Medina so walking everywhere was so easy. In warmer months, the Riad has a full rooftop area where guests can dine and take in views of the city.

I am an architecture lover, especially Hispano-Moroccan. The Riad Myra was beyond expectations with its superb plaster carving, wood work in doors and windows, and soaring columns. The riad had a beautiful center court with fountain that has a closable cover for the indoor-out door feeling. The courtyard itself was transformed into a living room with deeply cushioned Moroccan sofas and wood or brass serving dish coffee tables. A quiet place to sit and relax.. The suite I stayed in had a 20 ft wooden ceiling. If you want to go ack in time and stay in a wealth Moroccan's home, the Riad Myra is for you. The staff was personable and tried hard, but was not always top notch. Of course, the experience is of a home, not a hotel.

A superb hotel in an ideal location. The hotel is run professionally, guests can enjoy complete privacy or chat to staff in the lovely ground floor dining/sitting area. No extras were pushed, but if we asked, we were able to obtain good advice and added services. The central courtyard with fountain and comfortable seating was a welcome contrast to the sometimes manic feel to the souks. All the drinks we ordered from the hotel were super. This Expedia trip was unbelievably good value.

I discovered that this place was built by the Bennani family then sold to the Lazrak family (famous families from Fes) and now owned by the man who ran the ElMamounia famous landmark hotel in Marrakech. It did remind my young age days living in similar home in the same old city. This was a real treat and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the old living of the Moorish heritage in center of the old medina close to everything. I will return during one of these musical festivals in Fes held every year.

Riad Myra is beautiful. The tiles and carving decor are stunning. Very close to Bab Boujloud and the two main roads through the medina. There are petit taxis just at the end of Rue Salaj (by the Poste Maroc). It lacks the personl touch of a smaller riad (I stayed in a four room riad in marrakech where you know all of the staff by name) but it's friendly. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice, olives, eggs, toast and either a baghrir (similar to a crumpet) or msemen (fried layered bread) and lots of sweet condiments.

Although my boyfriend and I only got to stay 1 night at Riad Myra, we will never forget our experience. The lobby area is breath-taking as soon as you walk in. Ibrahim at the front reception greeted us upon arrival, and we were immediately served Moroccan mint tea and cold towels, which was a welcome surprise after trekking all the way from the desert earlier that day. He then informed us that he had upgraded us for free from the Comfort Room to the Concubine suite, which looked like an exhibit out of a museum with all the beautiful furnishings, canopy bed, and decorative walls. Inside the room, we were given complimentary bottled water and cookies. Wifi was strong the whole time. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones we had ever slept on, and we've stayed at a lot of hotels before! The breakfast the next morning was also wonderful and the best of our time in Morocco. We were served fresh yogurt, Moroccan mint tea, coffee, eggs tajine, toast, 2-3 types of pancakes / breads. It was such an amazing experience overall. The Concubine room, the quality of service, the fact that everyone could speak English well, the convenient location in the Medina, and the sheer beauty of the property itself. Could not recommend Riad Myra highly enough, and would definitely stay there next time we're in Fes.

Poor light in bathrooms & stairs. No hand rails in bath/stairs. Cramped rooms. Breakfast of two eggs (we're 3), bread&wheat items, plain yogurt, bland & no decaf coffee! Jam & honey. If you want to have Americans visit, offer both the American breakfast foods and the breakfast foods of your country so there are choices. If you wanted dinner you had to let them know so the food could be ordered before hand. Bring extra toilet paper. This is my opinion, not my hubby's. No creamer for the coffee. Hot water was iffy for showering.

This luxury riad is amazing. Near the train station Casa Voyageurs, and main attractions. Great restaurants in the area and excellent food at the riad. Complimentary wireless Internet access. Our room was not only comfortable but luxurious. A quiet sanctuary after strolling the souks in Fes. Staff is very accommodating. Complimentary breakfast was varied and delicious. For those who said in other reviews that the whole area around is dirty, that is correct, but most places/cities in Morocco ARE dirty. We were really excited when we arrived and all seemed well...until we couldn't take a shower because there is no hot water (most of our stay- I got one luke warm shower in). The tiles on the floor of the room were loose and breaking from the floor. Yes the Riad is beautiful but if I can't take a hot shower after a long day in the market and have to deal with the houseman's teenager style eye-roll behavior - I can't give it a good reveiw. I also read online before going that this place tries to double charge you when you check-out. I printed my hotels.com materials anticipating this - and it happened. Overall a clean place but not a great experience.

Hotel created from lovely old house in the medina with lots of (presumably) original features and atmosphere. Uniformly welcoming, helpful and friendly and highly recommended. Breakfast plentiful and varied day by day. Two points to make; 1) beware the meal on your first night, or at least check the price. We paid 300Dh each, my wife had a vegetarian tagine as main course in the 3 course fixed menu. This is more than twice the price of some restaurants in the neighbourhood; and 2) the lane outside is noisy so maybe best to avoid the room number 2 with windows overlooking it.
