Cons: La musica en el bar de la piscina de la azotea. Muy fuerte y hasta muy tarde para mi gusto. Tambien es verdad que las habitaciones no tienen las ventanas insonorizadas ni aisladas adecuadamente. Con lo cual se oyen muchos ruidos y también dejan pasar el frio.

Estás literalmente al lado del zoco, de los restaurantes principales y de todos los puntos clave para visitar Marrakech sin complicarte. El servicio está a la altura de las cinco estrellas: atención cercana, rápida y profesional. El hotel ofrece todos los servicios que se esperan en esta categoría y se agradece la dedicación del personal en todo momento. Ideal para quien quiera vivir Marrakech desde dentro, pero con comodidad.

Cons: Como punto de mejora, nadie del personal hablaba español: ni recepción, ni botones, ni restauración. Algunos tenían nociones básicas, pero poco más. No es un drama, pero en un cinco estrellas se espera algo más de idiomas.

Bin bereits etliche Male dort gewesen , denn es hat den Charme eines alten Grand Hotels und ist von der Lage unschlagbar. Ich kann sofort loslaufen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und bin auch schnell wieder in dieser Oase. Das indische Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet und der Blick über die Dächer himmlisch.

Delighted to have found this gem. Room was spacious and spotless, bed comfortable, large room (105) even though I am sure it was probably one of lower priced rooms. Could not fault it. The pool and communal areas inside and out are very relaxing, please remember to look up in reception at the ceiling….quite impressive. Breakfast was fab, lots of choice with excellent attentive staff. Nothing was a problem. The biggest plus were the staff, though I would say it goes for all the Moroccan people we met, friendly and courteous to a fault. I would highly recommend this hotel and a visit to Marrakech.

Beautiful hotel with lovely bedrooms and great location. We loved the bedroom and the view of the mosque. The location of the hotel was also excellent and we could walk to the souks directly. Breakfast was lovely and we had both lunch and room service dinner during our stay and both were excellent. It was my birthday during our visit and the hotel left a cake in our room which was a lovely touch! It was extremely hot during our stay and the AC in the bedroom was ice cold for which we were most grateful. We didn’t use the pool as it was simply too hot and we had a busy schedule but it looked lovely.

It's everything you could imagine a dream hotel should be. A magical place in a magical location. The restaurants are all excellent, the spa is amazing and each of its three pools has a unique twist. Rooms are all exceptional, even the most 'basic', which anything but basic and almost every room is unique and like the best room you'd find in other hotels. The mini suites are exceptional. Staff will move mountains for you and breakfast is good, particularly taken on the poolside terrace. We have been a few times now and it keeps getting better (we always pop in to potential alternatives in Marrakesh, but none make the grade). We will return.

Cons: If I was to be really picky, the check-in takes a while, but you are seated in the shade and offered Moroccan tea and petits fours.

An amazing hotel in the middle of the busy Madina. Few minutes walk to the madina, for street food and lovely streets of bustling shops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was so lovely to get an upgrade to a suite which was simply amazing. The Indian restaurant on the rooftop had some of the best Indian food we’ve had, specially the biryani. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel if we’re back in Marrakech. Thank you for a faultless stay.

Just spent 5 nights in this supposed 5 Star Hotel Good points : Close to Medina Pool area is nice, but not enough sunbeds for guests, towels left everywhere and staff don’t tidy them away, sunbed cushions never cleaned. Spa is good Bad points ; Hotel in general is very tired, furniture in reception is badly stained. Rooms, where do I start….. Bathroom Sink, and shower full of black mold Wardrobes smell fusty Rugs and sofa badly stained No mirrors in bedroom Beds, terribly uncomfortable big dips in the middle from age of bed. Bath Towels have holes in. In General very dirty hotel Food…. Had a Tagine in Resturant , this was pleasant and Indian Resturant food was good Breakfast, not a bad choice but ignorant staff, have to ask for cutlery, napkins, coffee numerous times before it arrived. Take what you want from this review, but we were very disappointed. This traditional hotel needs a huge overall

Cons: The food was disappointing in all the three restaurants, even the breakfast buffet was limited. The food in the French restaurant was particularly poor on the night we went, which was my husband’s birthday. For a five star hotel the food was really below par.

Overall we were very happy with this hotel. The mini suite room was spacious with a large balcony. The pool areas are both great , although we mainly used the rooftop pool. Loved the fact that this pool had Indian and Asian options for lunch and food was lovely. Staff overall extremely friendly and professional. Special call out to the sunbed pool guy who really looked after us. Location of the hotel is perfect for market/souk and main square - surprisingly we got zero hassle from traders in the souks which was very refreshing and made just wandering around easy. Outside hotel we enjoyed great food at Cafe Arabe which had a lovely rooftop vibe and Cafe Des Épices for lunch and did a superb food tour. Room wise- our mini suite was in a different block (above the spa/meeting rooms) from the building around pool . We were on first floor which gave us a pool wall view although could see the top of the Koutoubia tower. I think if you asked for a higher floor you would have a much better view. Areas for improvement? Around the pool , the drinks service was erratic and it was difficult to get the waiters attention which was irritating. At breakfast - they have the SLOWEST toaster I have ever encountered, so set aside an extra 10 minutes waiting time .. the bacon was often undercooked.. But overall an exceptional hotel and we would return !

Les efforts des encadrants pour rendre le séjour agréable. Aussi bien au restaurant indien qu'à la réception ou le chef concierge KHANJARI Abdessadeq trouve une solution magique à tout. Merci à lui c'est la deuxième fois que je viens et c'est la deuxième fois qu'il règle les problèmes de main de maître. Le décor est raffiné, le personnel est gentil . Le rooftop avec sa piscine est magnifique et la maitresse de maison toujours souriante. Je ne vais plus ailleurs.

Cons: le WIFI , c'est le deuxième message que je remplis le premier a subi une coupure de wifi le spa et fitness qui ferme tôt à 20H alors que la journée on profite du soleil. Des horaires décalés seraient appréciés et aussi une participation de 25€ pour la piscine du spa dont le jacuzzi intégré est froid me semble abusif.

It looks ordinary from outside but it is a completely different story inside with the pool, garden, rooftop and nice lighting. The rooms are also very nice. It has a Moroccan charm for which you would go back there again even though the cappuccino in the bar was bad. The Indian restaurant had bad food but with good service and nice rooftop setting. Breakfast was better.

This is a great hotel in the heart of Marrakech with a great range of facilities and beautiful gardens. We booked a mini suite and we were delighted with it, especially its location overlooking the gardens. We arrived early as we were not informed of the checking in times by our holiday provider but this was no problem for the hotel. We were made very welcome by the reception staff and treated to mint tea and pastries in a shaded area by the pool until our room was ready. The room was exceptional, beautifully presented and in a wonderful location. One point though, the walk to and from the room involved a flight of about 4 or 5 steps outside the French restaurant and these really need better lighting as my wife nearly tripped going down them in the dark one evening. A central handrail would also be helpful, especially for older guests. We stayed for four nights and wished it could be longer. Breakfasts were buffet style with a wide selection of cooked and continental style foods. We had an evening meal on two of the evenings of our stay. The Moroccan style restaurant was marvellous with a good selection of tagines and other foods, but we felt the food presented in the Asian/Indian style restaurant lacked authentic Indian flavours. However, the staff in both restaurants were wonderful and provided a great service. My wife treated herself to a massage and hammam in the hotel spa and felt totally rejuvenated afterwards The hotel is centrally located so it was just a short walk to the souks and the Katoubia Mosque, or a short taxi ride to Bahia Palace, the Jardin Majorelle and other tourist attractions. Reception helped us with a taxi on one occasion while on other days we grabbed our own taxis. We only had one minor glitch and that was when we had to cancel a pre-booked trip due to medical reasons which made one of the receptionists seem a bit annoyed. Otherwise all the staff - the receptionists, the morning and evening restaurant staff, the chambermaids, the porters, the security and the spa staff - were all great, providing a five star service with a smile and relaxed attitude. We are looking forward to a return stay.

So we first came to this hotel 21 years ago! During the intervening years we occasionally stay elsewhere (when we have been in a large group we’ve had a riad) but we always come back to this hotel because it is just so comfortable: the rooms are so spacious; the pool area is so spacious; the location is perfect and the staff are lovely - some of them have been at the hotel since we first came! Oh, and the hammam - divine…and the harira soup, love that soup (can I have the recipe please?)

Cons: The so-called air conditioning is not controlled by the guest, but it is set for the entire hotel. The coolest our room ever got was 25.8 Celsius. Marrakesh is a very hot city. Paying four to $800 per night, it is an excusable to not be able to have a cool room for sleeping.

Les 4 piscines chauffées sont hyper propres et grandes pour un établissement en plein centre ville. Grandes terrasses et chambres très confortables et spacieuses.

This was a total oasis away from the hustle & bustle of the Medina. As soon as we walked through the door we felt relaxed. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. We had lunch most days by the roof top pool which was amazing. Our pool view patio room was very quiet and clean, giving us three very peaceful nights sleep only to be awakened by bird song. Breakfast was very good, great selection to choose from and again good service. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying near the Medina.

Terrible front desk staff. We stayed at the hotel from Aug 2nd to Aug 6th, and we wanted to complain about one of your hotel front desk staff Mr. Abgl. Mr. Abgl was terrible and rude, at the last day when we checked out. He asked us whether we took any drinks from the mini bar, and we said yes, 2 cokes, one sparkling water, and one Sprite. He doesn’t trust us and called the house keeper and insisted that we took one Coke Zero but we never drink Coke Zero because we don’t like artificial sweeteners. He charged us 185 for all drinks and I asked him the price for each drink but he didn’t answer. This guy wasted our time for around 15 minutes just because he doesn’t trust us, if you don’t trust us then why you asked, you should just make sure your mini bar checking system is correct or don’t provide mini bar. .

The staff were warm welcoming and attentive. The hotel was clean and well set up. It's located in the Medina and so much of what you want to see is mostly within walking distance. There are amzing rooftop bars and restaurants close by plus the hustle of the SOUK. We went in Aug. It was scorchio - so beware that. But it was our first time in Marrakech and we definitely want to go back, and to explore more of Morocco.

Our stay was incredible. We had requested a room in a quieter area, and the team provided us with an amazing suite in a very peaceful part of the hotel. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was very spacious. All the staff were extremely kind and attentive. We were unwell during our stay, and they prepared a suitable dish for us. The hotel has a beautiful architectural design. I highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to rest and relax while still being close to the Medina.

Cons: Consider replacing the cushions on the sun loungers. Having a first-aid kit with a contactless infrared thermometer and a blood pressure monitor would be useful to quickly check for any discomfort when a guest is not feeling well. These are small improvement sugestions. We really liked everything in the hotel :)

We have just had five nights at this wonderful hotel. A special anniversary for us and we were upgraded on arrival-thank you. The room was very spacious with a superb bathroom and balcony and the daily flowers and petals such a lovely touch. Ibrahim who welcomed us was superb, as were all the staff-by the pool, reception, on the doors and in the bars. We were so comfortable in our room and the pools are a dream. We watched the sunset and sunrise and had the most memorable and magical time at the hotel. Centrally located we were seconds/minutes from everything but once in the hotel it really felt like an oasis. Both pools were superb with ample sun beds which are padded too. The rooftop pool was our favourite, especially later in the day. Sky bar affords wonderful views too! We will have to go back and miss it already. Such a beautiful hotel and authentic with a touch of class and luxury. Definitely 5 stars and worth every penny. Breakfast was excellent too! Cannot recommend this place more highly. Thank you and hope to be back very soon!

The location was outstanding. I looked at many other hotels at similar price points and reviews, but I'm so happy I settled on this. It is right on the edge of the Medina. Within 30 seconds of leaving the front door you can be inside the first undercover souk, yet you can't hear a trace of the hustle and bustle from inside the hotel. The facilities available were excellent. We did not try the spa or gym, but the choice of restaurants and the quality of the food and service were exceptional. We were also greeted warmly each time we visited the bars and the bartenders remembered our orders. We really enjoyed the pool to cool off in the middle of the day and thought the sun loungers were good quality. They were also always available even though it was a busy hotel.

We really enjoyed it here. It is like an oasis, just yards from the bustling centre. Once inside, all is calm. Lovely pools, nicely kept gardens and a kind welcome. Interior decor is dated - taking this down to 4 stars - but perfectly functional and spacious. Breakfast was very good, with super friendly service from the lovely ladies making omelettes and pancakes (Moroccan - yum) to order. Plenty of fresh fruit too, nicely made pastries and other hot breakfast nibbles if they are your thing. I stuck to fruit, yoghurt, omelettes and / or pancakes which meant I didn't need lunch. Great. Great Sky Bar - calm and relaxed with friendly staff - and I was told the spa was very good. I would recommend this hotel.

Cons: Wir würden beim nächsten Mal eher außerhalb des Hotels essen. Sowohl im indischen Restaurant als auch im marokkanischen Restaurant stimmte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. Besonders die Küche hat unsere Erwartungen bei einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel leider nicht erfüllt. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von der Qualität und dem Geschmack der Speisen, was den Gesamteindruck unseres Aufenthalts etwas getrübt hat.

This hotel was truly exceptional — the best we experienced during our trip to Morocco. The rooms are spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom absolutely stunning, featuring an enormous walk-in shower. The swimming pool and spa facilities are also outstanding, offering plenty of sunbeds across the two outdoor pools and a beautiful indoor pool. During my stay, I unfortunately fell ill. However, the reception team and housekeeping staff handled the situation flawlessly: they promptly arranged for a doctor to visit me in the hotel and organized special in-room meals according to the doctor's recommendations. While getting sick while traveling is never pleasant, the way this hotel managed the situation was truly impressive, demonstrating their ability to handle even the most unexpected challenges with care and efficiency. Top class authentic hotel, we loved it as soon as we walked in, the staff roundly do enough for you, as our flight had been brought forward our rooms were ready earlier. 3 restaurants to choose from, (Morrocon, Curry and international) there was also a snack bar, all food was excellent and reasonable priced. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and tasty. 2 swimming pools, one on ground floor and one roof top. Rooms were large, toiletries available along with a bottle of water each day. Hôtel is ideally situated for all sights within the Medina walls. I cannot recommend this hotel and the staff enough.

Stayed for 4 nights as part of a tour. Overall facility is old and tired and in need of refurbishment. Carpet runners on floor are well worn. Hallways have sensor lights which are slow acting and remain dark for half the corridor traveled. WiFi is slow. Perhaps being part of tour gets the worst room but cabinet doors are scratched and worn. Tiles on floor and in bathroom can use a scrubbing. However, very good service from the hotel staff. Breakfast selection is limited. There are 3 restaurants in hotel. International, Moroccan and Indian. Tried the first two and both have a limited menu. Location is right by the market which for those looking for a busy area with endless shops can be a great convenience. In summary, not a 5 star and at best a 3.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, we had a beautiful spacious suite with all the amenities you could ask for. Both pools are lovely and a good temperature and never too busy so no problems getting a bed everyday. The location is perfect for the medina, we ate lunch at the hotel everyday and found a good choice on the menus, and ate in the indian one night which was great and the french although very quiet the setting was beautiful and the food was good. The staff were great and we would definitely come back.

We recently stayed at the hotel and while the hotel itself was good, I was extremely disappointed with the service. At the Rooftop Indian Restaurant, we had a terrible experience. Our food took over an hour to arrive, and to make matters worse, we were served chicken instead of vegetarian food. When we inquired, we were told that the kitchen was too busy to handle the number of guests. This is completely unacceptable, as dietary preferences and restrictions should be taken seriously. Additionally, the breakfast service was equally frustrating. When I requested hot chocolate, instead of simply fulfilling the order, the manager gave us a lecture on how to order properly. We were then handed a pot of milk and chocolate powder and told to make it ourselves, which was both rude and unprofessional. When we raised these concerns with the front desk, we were assured that someone would get back to us. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for a response. This lack of follow-up only adds to the disappointment. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues promptly. Poor service like this leaves a lasting negative impression and affects the reputation of your hotel. I would appreciate a response regarding the actions being taken to ensure such incidents do not happen again.

Beautiful hotel close to the Medinah. It's French owned. All Westerners staying there. Room is very comfortable and clean. Mint tea and cookies welcome. There are rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom. We stayed at many hotels on the trip and this hotel had the most comfortable beds. Breakfast has a lot of variety and made-to-order eggs and crepes. Very busy property. Highly recommend. Rooftop is beautiful.

This hotel cannot be trusted to honor bookings as per booked & paid for. We were a group of six (3 x couples) travelling for a celebration. All of a certain age and with a lifetime of travel experiences. Each couple booked rooms with either terrace or balconies overlooking the gardens of the hotel as we envisaged enjoying our morning coffees or evening wine on same balconies/terraces. On arrival we were each allocated rooms overlooking the medina with only windows & no balconies/terraces. On complaining to management we were told there was nothing they could do as the hotel was full. The manner is which this was dealt with was most disappointing the staff did not care or were unable to empathize with our disappointment. There was no offer of any kind of a goodwill gesture of a monetary refund, bottle of wine, dinner etc.etc. The attitude was simply tough luck. As this was a celebration our rooms had been booked almost a year in advance therefore there was no reason or excuse as to why this should have happened. If we had wanted rooms overlooking the Medina without balconies then we would only have paid for that category of room. Why pay extra for a balcony/terrace if you don't get one? Marrakech was a great experience despite this hotel and with so many alternatives to choose from there is no reason why anyone should risk booking this hotel.

Unfortunately, our initial hotel was cancelled by Expedia so we had to scramble to get another hotel. This hotel, far surpassed by apprehensions about it. The rooms were okay and most of the staff were very polite and helpful, especially Adel Latif at the concierge desk and the head concierge Abdessadeq. The restaurants on the other hand were horrendous, especially the Moroccan restaurant. I found service to be generally subpar in Morocco but this place is far beyond anything else. On top of that, they told us that breakfast was not covered and that we would have to pay 21 Euros per person per day for a frankly less than ordinary breakfast and even though we did not go to breakfast every day, they still charged us for it. In fact on 2 days of our stay they charged us twice for breakfast. Unfortunately, I did not even notice these bogus charges until after we had left, since our flight was very early in the morning and I did not have a chance to look through the bill properly. Additionally, there were all kinds of other bogus charges for the MiniBar, which we absolutely did not use. All in all, an incredibly disappointing stay. Definitely not worth the outrageous rates

We stayed here for 3 nights on our first ever visit to Marrakech. From booking the hotel staff were responsive, attentive and accommodating; that continued during our stay. The hotel is ideally placed for the main square, souks and attractions. The accommodation itself is tranquil and well serviced. We found the restaurants and bars perfect if you don’t fancy eating out or prefer a quieter environment. Every meal we ate was perfect. The hotel will organise collection at the airport, which is probably wise if it’s your first time in Morroco, but use the doormen to order a taxi for your return trip - it’s a cheaper option. People have commented on the quality of the concierge; we found the same - nothing is too much trouble. Happily stay again.

We spent 4 nights here. From the minute we stepped in the front door it was like entering an oasis of calm. Absolutely beautiful pool area. Everyone was so friendly, in particular Mohammed & Fatha at the restaurant by the pool for lunch. Also Yassine was extremely helpful. We were given a beautiful room and although it didn’t have a balcony it was very spacious and spotlessly clean. I visited the spa and had a very relaxing massage with Sana. The only person who I felt was unfriendly was unfortunately the receptionist at the spa who barely smiled when I went to check in to the spa. She made me feel as if I had done something to offend her! But don’t let this put you off … everyone else was extremely professional and courteous. This was my 8th trip to Morocco and by far the best hotel we have stayed in. I can’t wait to return!

I would have two suggestions to enhance the stay further: (1) Look at options to sound proof the doors a bit more - there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic but the door didn’t keep sound out from the corridor well. (2) A guide in the room to facilities - staff very kindly provide an introduction but the space it quite large and has so much to offer that a little map would be helpful :)

The Indian restaurant was amazing - excellent authentic Indian food and you can eat by the pool. Staff were all so lovely and helpful and they all spoke several languages. Also really central for visits to the medina - no need for taxis at all and there were several rooftop restaurants to visit a short walking distance away.

Cons: We had not booked for breakfast but did go in one day not realising that it would be hugely over priced for mediocre food. I would advise anyone to go elsewhere for breakfast. There are places a short walk away with better food for a lot less money.

Heel mooi en comfortabel 5 sterren leisure hotel. De locatie is erg goed voor het verkennen van Marrakech: vlak naast het Place Jemaa el Fna, de souks en de Koutoubia moskee. Heerlijke pleisterplaats om lekker te ontspannen na een verhitte dooltocht door de stad. De kamer was iets kleiner en donkerder dan we hadden verwacht, maar comfortabel en schoon. Goede bedden. Gratis mineraalwater op de kamer. Men serveert alcoholhoudende drankjes op het (discrete) overdekte terras, bij het zwembad en in de bar. Ontbijt (buffet) erg goed. Goed getraind personeel. Hotel heeft eigen beveiliging. Valetparking naast het hotel; keurig.

Cons: Het hotel ligt in een doodlopende straat waarvan ook nog eens is aangegeven dat die verboden is in te rijden. Erg moeilijk te vinden hotel dus. We zijn er wel 3x vergeefs langs gereden. Achteraf bleek het arabische onderschrift bij het inrijverbod een uitzondering voor bestemmingsverkeer in te houden. 😊

super location! you can enter the souk right in front of the hotel. no car or taxi needed. hotel big enough to have a good infrastructure like breakfast buffet, bar, restaurant. Staff in restaurants very friendly but unfortunately also very slow. It takes forever till you get your food but at least you could go for a drink in the bar, where you get your wine much faster :-). Maybe also info someone needs to know: you can eat everything in the hotel! we never had a stomach problem. We returned to the hotel not the first time, we will for sure come back because we overall love the hotel!

The hotel is generally very beautiful, with separate spaces for different purposes, which is highly appreciated. The rooftop swimming pool and bar are nice features offering a good relaxing break. The piano bar has a nice old style atmosphere to it, you see people smoking indoors which is surprisingly pleasant as you don’t see that these days anymore. The pianist-singer did a great job, kudos to him! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower and bathroom is quite spacious and clean, the towels are also usable, iykyk.

Cons: The spas in five-star hotels are typically open for guest use, but not in this cheap place. Even La Mamounia doesn’t charge extra for guests to use an indoor pool. This policy was quite disappointing and felt somewhat shameful for them. I ended up going to another hotel for the spa instead. The entrance looks quite old at first glance. The staff at the rooftop bar need much better training in guest relations, as one of them came across as slightly unprofessional.

A bit dated yet fantastic hotel. The room & bath size and comfort was amazing. They decorated the bed & bath with rose petals which was a pleasant surprise. We loved the location, close to restaurants, taxi stand, and just stones throw from many must see sites such as Koutoubia mosque, Medina & Jamaâ El-Fna market, etc. And the food was reasonably priced and very tasty. It’s a true 5star experience with 24X7 room service, which we tried in wee hours of the morning, and they delivered promptly. Would definitely stay here again!

Cons: slightly dated decor and the hotel is showing it’s age somewhat, but not too bad.
