What a fabulous hotel! You can see why it's no.1 of all the hotels on Agadir on trip advisor. Friendly, fun and helpful staff- can't do enough for you. Massive rooms with balcony, lovely pool area, lots of seating and great bar downstairs with the funniest bar staff- Special shout out to Hatim! So many orange taxis- very cheap if you want to go into town or any where really. Agree the fare first before you get in. The hotel is near to the beach which is lovely with good service. £1 is 12 Dirhams so everything is very cheap. Everyone gets a tip so always have cash on you. Only couple of minor things which would help...their ironing boards don't have legs so you have to rest it flat on the side bench, which kills your back. Please invest in ironing boards with legs. Breakfast is nice but the toaster takes 10 years to toast bread so please get a new one and please get a microwave so that food can be reheated if necessary. Apart from that excellent hotel and we'll be back!

The team at the hotel are fantastic - especially the front of house staff for whom nothing is too much trouble and who are very positive and friendly. The restaurant food is excellent, we ate off the bar menu - great value and superb steak! The hotel is very clean, not too big, and offered us a very relaxing base from which to explore Agadir and the wider region. In addition, it's only a ten minute walk to the beach, so a great location.

Stayed here for 4 nights in January for a winter break. Lovely peaceful small hotel - immaculately clean, large, cosy rooms with a nice relaxing pool area. Staff were welcoming, super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was really good. Special shout out to the waiters and the guys at the bar; as a Muslim woman I was reluctant to stand around the bar if I needed tea/coffee etc but they always noticed I was there and came to ask what I needed quickly and were very attentive. I would have given 5 stars except for the noise from the neighbouring rooftop bar on a couple of nights; it would start around 9 and continued until well after midnight. Couldn’t sleep and the guys in reception called the bar a few of times to ask them to turn down the noise, but it didn’t really help. Also the hotel is just a 10-15 minute walk from the beach but a fair distance from everything else. However, lots of cheap taxis available to get around. Recommend visiting the Crocodile park! *We had a wonderful stay overall and would stay again. Tip: Hammam was a huge disappointment; masseuse didn’t speak English, no explanation as to what was going to happen, we were just asked to change then left for long intervals semi naked. I’ve visited hammams but this was poor and the full body massage was rubbish. Avoid

We have just come back from a 5 days break at Hotel Timoulay we had a amazing stay cant fault the hotel at all The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are big with a lovely balcony with a sea view. We asked for kettle and tea making facilities and the room had a fridge. We both really enjoyed the break each morning that was very fresh, a good quality and selection in every morning. The staff were welcome, happy and attentive so no complain here at all. We ate the buffet meal the first day for ease at £16 each which was again a good quality. We also loved it was medium size hotel and felt like a quiet oasis away from it all as it was on the edge of resort. We both liked it was on the edge of the area as it was a 10 minute walk to the sea promonade which was lovely walk along the sea to main marinia of adagir, 50 minutes. There were cafes , bars and restuarants along the way and lots of very cheap orange taxis outside the hotel you can use for further a field trips out and you don’t pay more than 20 to 30 dirhams. We both used the Spa facilties for a 2 hours hammas session, with massage and body scrub on misty/cloudy morning and so glad we did as so relaxing and well worth the money as so reasonable priced compared to the UK. The only negative I have is more to do with agadir as this is development area so there is building work still going on in pockets .

First the positives, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are very attentive, happy and welcoming. Rooms were huge, lovely balcony. The breakfast was as expected, no complaints but all very samey We ate at the hotel once in the evening, buffet meal, £16 a head, probably wouldn’t again but it was convenient The negative is that the hotel is so far away from everything! It’s surrounded by unfinished buildings, roads etc, the walk to the marina/restaurants etc is about 45 minutes. The orange taxis outside the hotel are useful but don’t pay more than 20 dirham

The staff were fantastic—welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent, offering a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Breakfast was truly outstanding.
Cons: The WiFi experience is poor, with frequent fluctuations. The room’s finishing requires attention to maintain a clean and well-kept appearance, as elements like the furniture and mirrors feel outdated and worn. Additionally, the room is not restocked with water daily after cleaning, leaving guests to purchase their own. Providing at least two bottles of water per day would greatly improve the stay.

Myself and a friend stayed here for 3 nights, and we were hopeful based on previous reviews. We weren't disappointed. It's an absolutely beautiful hotel. We were early and able to check in straight away. The staff were incredibly friendly, and greeted us with complimentary Moroccan tea. Our room was on the lower ground floor, on the same level as the pool and restaurant. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The beds were really comfortable. There was a kettle with some tea bags and coffee sachets (however no milk), and small fridge. The bathroom had a nice walk in shower with complimentary soap and shower gel. The TV in the room had a few channels, though only news in English. It also had access to Netflix, Disney+, Prime etc, although wifi wasn't always great for this. Free wifi throughout the hotel worked well on our phones. Breakfast was typical holiday continental buffet style, with fresh juices, coffee and tea. Also an omelette bar outside that also offered waffles on occasion. We had dinner one night, which was 200MAD (£16) buffet with plenty of choice. We used the spa, which was very relaxing and offered lots of great value treatments. Highly recommend. 5-10 minute walk to the beach. A bit further takes you to some restaurants, though not many along the beach like a lot of resorts. There were a lot of restaurants and bars in the main town, about 10 min walk away, plus shops and pharmacy if needed. Plenty of taxis outside the hotel. We would definitely visit again.

What can I say, this has to be the friendliest, cleanest most accommodating hotel I think I have stayed in. The staff cannot do enough for you when you are there, the guys on reception, the doorman, the waiters, bar staff and the cleaners work very hard to make you feel comfortable and make sure you enjoy your stay. We made so many friends whilst we were there. The service is 1st class and I can't recommend it enough. We were in Room 316 where the WiFi was not at it's best. When we went down to reception they gave us our own router and it worked like a dream! Nothing was too much for them. Thank you to all the staff for such an enjoyable stay and we will definitely be back.

We LOVED our stay here and would seriously consider returning sometime soon (not something we would usually do). The hotel is just large enough to have decent facilities such as a beautifully kept pool with sunbeds and a decent bar serving a wide range of drinks and snacks until midnight each day. But it is also small enough to maintain an intimate, friendly and peaceful atmosphere. Without exception, the staff were all warm, friendly, polite and super helpful. We've never known a hotel so clean and the reception/concierge team were always eager to help with anything we needed. We booked bed and breakfast and we were pleased with the variety on offer for breakfast each morning. The bar prices were also very reasonable for a hotel. It's a short walk to the beautiful beach and clean pool/beach towels are available from reception each day. We also really enjoyed the Spa treatments we booked. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, peaceful hotel with a boutique vibe and without the all inclusive crowds then Hotel Timoulay is perfect.

By far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was so spacious and clean! We arrived early and the hotel still allowed us to check in early. We had problems with the WiFi being on the highest floor, but staff resolved the issue straight away by providing us with a private router. All staff members were so polite, friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Khaled, whom my 2 year old son developed such a good friendship with and absolutely loved! Food was really good too! Special shout-out to the special lady who made the fresh omelettes and Moroccan pancakes! 10/10 hotel. No complaints.

Absolutely fab charming small hotel. Nothing is too much trouble in every department. The cleaning is outstanding, the ladies never stop. Pool guy also very attentive. Even picked up my bracelets and it then by my sunbed. Reception staff day and night are also brilliant. My friend broke her flip flops and he lent her his! Bless. Until we could get to the shops to buy another pair. Concierge very helpful. Restaurant staff excellent. Lunches always slightly different if we ordered the same thing. Breakfast egg station excellent. Breakfast always good choice and fresh and hot. When fridge broke they were there straight away and fixed it! And the explair fan in bathroom. Instantly. Tip.. Ask for a kettle for your tea and coffee, they do have them. We have full use of the spa and Hammam. Excellent. 3 times in tnt week we were there. Highly recommend it. Although slightly back from the sea, it is lovely and quiet and only takes 4/5 mins stroll to the beach. The rooms are massive. Big plus there. Beds very comfortable. No complaints what so ever. Just compliments. Never seemed busy or crowded at all. Plenty of sunbeds. Nice little shop there as well. Maybe they could put on a show once a week with a themed evening. As there is no entitlement there. Excellent. Well done!

Excellent small hotel, I have never seen staff who work as hard as these guys, everyone is so very helpful and lovely. Myself and my sister are vegetarians we were half board. Food is excellent quality and traditional Moroccan style plenty of chickpeas and beans. Salad and side vegetables. Pasta and soup avail (sometimes meat) One night there was not really a main for veggie only side dishes so the manager offered for chef to make us a pizza, so very kind. We had room 315 floor 3 excellent view of beach and pool. There is a noisy bar which plays music but we just shut our balcony door. Room was large and spotlessly clean. We had a problem with leak in bathroom, reported it when we went to dinner and it was fixed by the time we came up…that’s super service. Our WiFi was dodgy in room but great everywhere else. We had a tv which had Netflix on. The pool area was immaculate, plenty of sun beds and seated area. In terms of area a 10min walk to beach but we didn’t venture out much tbh We used the spa a couple of times and would highly recommend, the girls were all superb.i cannot praise the staff enough who make this hotel a friendly, clean and laid back hotel. So if you want to relax and recharge the batteries this is the perfect place to do it in.

From start to finish, our stay at the Timoulay Spa and Hotel was excellent. The staff are excellent, nothing is too much, incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed on a B&B basis, breakfast was always delicious and the 'egg station' first class. We ate in the evening at the hotel too and on top of very generous portions, the food was on par with local restaurants. Impeccably clean throughout, great facilities and a very relaxed stay. We would highly recommend a short or long stay here. Fantastic holiday made even better by the staff.

We stayed here in summer 2025. Its an absolutely lovely hotel. The rooms are a very good size, and they're kept spotlessly clean by cheerful cleaners. The pool area is lovely with an adequate number of sun loungers. There's a cute little gift shop too. The breakfast is OK, though there could have been a little more choice. The layout of the hotel is excellent. Drink prices are fine. The balconues are a good size with pool views. Its in a quiet area but red taxis are always available. 10 minutes walk to Founty beach with a lovely sea front walk to the marina if you have time. When it came to exchanging currency back to pounds they didn't have sufficient sterling, so we had to take euros, which was a bit annoying. But overall a great experience and lovely relaxing hotel.

An excellent first stay at the Tomoulay. The rooms were exceptional, clean, spacious with lots of storage over looking the pool. An extra nice touch was the sun loungers on the balcony. Staff were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much for them. As a first timer at this hotel I can understand why many other guests had returned!
Cons: Slightly out of the centre of Agadir, I would say a 20 minute walk however this did not bother us at all as we liked to walk in the mornings and evenings. As an alternative the staff at the hotel were always on hand to arrange a taxi if requested.

Never been to Morocco before this trip, but we will definitely return and definitely to The Hotel Timouley 👍 . Welcomed to the hotel with a Moroccan tea, check in was quick and smooth. Our room wasn't ready as we had arrived early, so we sat by the pool and had a coffee. We had a suite ( room 108 ) very clean and very spacious, consisting of two bathrooms, a living room and two sofas, a smart TV in each room. There is a mini fridge, which will keep things chilled but not too cold. The balcony has a table, two chairs and two loungers. Bathrooms have shower and shower gel and soap. Towels & sheets are changed daily. Housekeeping is first class. The hotel is a quiet oasis and the staff are devoted to customer service, they cannot do enough for you, in a really sincere way. Don't expect music by the pool, this is a place to relax, take a beer or a coffee, & relax on a lounger. ( Plenty of loungers so no lounger wars) Drinks and meals available all day from the restaurant, coffee is 20 Dirams, ( about £1.60) same for a can of coke. If you fancy a snack, hamburger, kebab, and pizza is available for around 70 Dirams ( approx £6) In the evening you can try the hotel buffet, which is changed daily. The buffet is plentiful and fresh, lots of traditional Moroccan dishes and sweets, as well as other western, European dishes, such as pasta etc. Food is of a high standard, veg options too. The buffet is 200 Dirams, (around £16.50) really good value. You can eat from a menu too, Al a carte. There is a guy who pops up at the lobby who organised trips to various sites, including the souk etc. The orange taxis outside will take you anywhere, you need to confirm the price before hand, it's odd at first to haggle but you get used to it, it's all done with a smile. To get to the Marjan supermarket 5 mins away, it costs 20 Dirams ( approx £2.00 ), so real cheap to get a taxi. This hotel is highly recommended.

We stayed in Agadir for 4 days at the hotel. It’s a pleasant and quiet hotel , tucked away . It’s a 5 min walk to the beach front , taxi are easy to get outside the hotel . The staff are very attentive and always there to help . Check in process was great and easy on our arrival . It was our anniversary and they did the room up with lovely balloons and towel decorations , which was sweet . The hotel was very clean and I always say staff cleaning the communal areas . Breakfast was nice and not overwhelming with too many dishes . There is no tea making facilities in the rooms . And we got a hand steamer for the clothes instead for an iron . So you may want to bring your own iron . I would definitely come back to this hotel for the fact it’s calm , clean and staff are very attentive .

Lovely little hotel, stayed with my daughter for 1 week in August 2025 and had a great time on the whole. Reception staff are lovely and helpful. Housekeeping are fabulous, bar staff disappear a LOT so expect to wait for a drink during the day especially. Rooms and hotel grounds are well maintained and clean. Our balcony was absolutely huge with 2 sun beds and 2 chairs - didn’t get any sun or breeze however so trying to dry swimwear was a challenge! We ate breakfast buffet most days, always eggs and plenty of choice, with fresh omelette/pancakes/waffles made to order. Lunch menu is good with huge portions and reasonably priced. Dinner we had once which was a buffet so what you’d expect really but all was hot and tasty with a decent choice. Pool nice, cold to begin with as always but soon feels good. Hotel very quiet. I expected a quiet hotel but not even background music just sports noise coming from bar. My 10 year old enjoyed the pool but we only had 2 days at the pool more than that I think we would have been a little bored. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach but a good walk away from any real life of the area.

It would have been so much better scoring if there had been hot food. The Christmas Eve banquet meal was an added bonus and this was a special occasion but again the food was on the cooler side of my taste. Room was clean enough once the dust storm had been cleaned up.

My husband & I were pleasantly surprised by Timoulay Hotel & Spa. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the staff were friendly & easy to talk to, the atmosphere felt warm, relaxing and inviting. The rooms were spacious, clean and smelled gorgeous. We had a lovely view overlooking the pool, the sea and Oufella Kasbah mountain side on the 3rd floor. We loved that the hotel wasn't too big, so it was lovely to see other guests daily to build a rapport and chat with them. All staff, including the cleaning staff, were friendly and professional. One day, the cleaning staff set up an outfit for me on my bed with a face made from grass and flowers! My husband & I thought it was a charming, creative and funny touch to add to our holiday. The food selection at breakfast was great and tasted delicious; it set us up for the day. We also loved the lunch and dinner options. It was within easy walking distance to the beach - around 5 minutes. A bit further from the city and some other attractions, however, a taxi ride was both easy and quick. Easy to set up tours if you need to do so through the brilliant hotel rep. We did the camel ride, city tour & quad bikes - all were brilliant tours. My husband & I would come back to the Timoulay Hotel, Agadir, and recommend it to others. Thank you, Timoulay staff, for such a pleasant and wonderful stay!🥰

Spotlessly clean. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Lovely helpful staff. Excellent breakfast choice. Location, short walk from beach.
Cons: Not much I didn't like but as we had opted for a suite, the balcony overlooked a dusty car park and main road, Most rooms seemed to have lovely pool view, though we did have partial view of the sea.

From arriving to departing nothing is too much trouble. Arrival and check in was super simple - We arrived early before the room was ready we were checked in and offered a drink in the bar where a no pressure excursion guy came to show us what trips we could book and what’s around the area, no pressure at all to book any just really useful information… we were given a map with key bits of info should we need them. Outside the hotel there is always the small orange taxis waiting to take you wherever you want to go. The location is ok the end of the main promenade up a very slight hill, we walked from the hotel to the very end of the opposite side where the marina is we stopped for a drink half way but was a beautiful flat walk once on the promenade. For the less mobile the taxis are very very cheap. Hotel VERY VERY CLEAN Breakfast was nice, look outside for the snack hut they serve omelette, fried eggs and waffles on some days… delish We were on B&B ate once at the restaurant for dinner as a buffet style for a set price was ok Snack bar open throughout the day serving pizza burgers salads etc, breaks the day up to take shade from the sun for a snack Pool Pool guys work hard to keep the pool super clean and ensure that everyone has a bed and brolly if you want it, we never had any issue getting a bed and never saw any towels laying about without people on them which makes a refreshing change! Rooms Ours was massive, pool Facing large bed and great shower Would I stay here again if in Morocco? Wouldn’t stay anywhere else now……so yes yes yes!

Just returned from a 14 night stay at Timoulay Hotel and Spa and I have to say it is a fantastic hotel. On arrival we were greated at the entrance by security who took our suitcases and directed us to the reception desk, check in was quick and easy. We were shown to our room which was on the third floor, it was very spacious with a HUGE bed, plenty of storage, a smart TV, spotlessly clean throughput and a balcony with a pool view and a glorious view of Agadir. We had opted for bed and breakfast, which was a buffet with plenty of choices, hot and cold options, was always fresh and a great variety of options. There are plenty of loungers round the pool and again everything was super clean. You dont need to take beach towels to the pool as the hotel provides guests with towels, just ask at reception. The bar is well stocked and food can be ordered too. Located about a 8-10 minutes walk from the beach and about the same to the nearest restaurants and shops. There's also a ship at reception selling everything from postcards and souvenirs to crisps and chocolate. I know I've said it previously but this hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was tidied and fresh towels supplied EVERY day. All the staff from the doorman to the receptionist, cleaners and waiters were super friendly and helpful. There is WIFI throughout hotel but if the signal in your room isn't great, the hotel can provide you with an additional router! Also use of the safe and Aircon is included!! Honestly just such a great service all round. We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. There is only one negative and that's the hotel next door. Hotel Borjs, it has a rooftop bar, which has very loud music pretty much every night of the week and it does go on till about 1am, but if you close your balcony doors it does reduce the noise to a level that allows you to get to sleep. This would not stop us going back, we loved our stay, the hotel, the staff, the food, the high level of service and the cleanliness of the hotel were all top quality.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in May and we can honestly say that it was a wonderful place. All staff, from the security guards to bar/waiting staff, cleaners just everybody really couldn't be more helpful, polite and caring. Located just 5 minutes from the beach, the hotel is medium sized, which makes it more personal and pleasant, with great facilities. The food served was of good quality and plentiful. The outside spaces and pool were spotless and well looked after. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will book here again.

It was quiet and very clean, like a oasis of relaxation
Cons: The staff not so gentle in the reception, I’ve booked a package of hammam who was supposed to last 1 hour and a half and it lasted barely 1 hour, the massage berbère wasn’t different of the relaxing massage but more expensive and they have no beach.

A gorgeous hotel with friendly staff who will do whatever they can to help and accommodate you. The rooms were big and spacious. The pool was checked daily by the lifeguard who took great care in keeping it clean and up to standard. The reception staff were friendly and helpful aswell as the security team which were very welcoming. The hotel was lovely and quiet which was very peaceful and made the holiday really enjoyable. It is quite a walk from the main section of agadir beach - possibly 45-60 minutes so something to bare in mind however we walked half way down the beach in 20 minutes to some lovely restaurants and also into agadir bay which had lots of food options also.

Lovely hotel, small enough that you get to know & chat with the other guests every day. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds. Staff very polite & helpful. Food ok, usual buffet stuff. Alcohol more expensive than thought due to government tax-approx 3.5-4 dirhams for a half pint bottle lager. Rooms very spacious & clean but air conditioning could be better as got hot at night especially as quilt on bed no top sheet! Overall had a lovely relaxing time 🙂

This place is immaculate! The staff take their pride at making the place so clean. Everyone is friendly and professional. This place is perfect for relaxing. No loud music by the pool or evening entertainment. If you are looking for a place to chill, this is the one! Nothing is ever too much. The beach is a good walking distance. The food can be repetitive but no major issues there. The downside is if you need to stock up on supplies for your whole stay, you need to get a taxi to get to the supermarket. You get a free bottled water when you check in and that's about it. Everything else, you have to pay. Lots of places to go and see and personally a humbling experience. Everyone from all walks of life are there for one thing, making the most of each day as if it's their last.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Such a clean hotel, the staff are always buzzing around cleaning. They leave lovely touches in the room each morning. Breakfast was ok, look for the omelet bar which is outside, we didn't see it on our first day. Some breads and pastries, potatoes, turkish sausage, sauted veg, very wet scrambled egg, yoghurt, cheese, turkey slices etc. It wasn't wonderfull but you didn't go hungry. We rented bikes l9cally and the hotel manager very kindly stored them in a locked room overnight for us. 5 min walk to the beach and restaurant promenade area. The rooms were huge, with a sofa and balcony. No kettle in room but could hire from front desk if needed. Not really the place for kids, more of an adult hotel. I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, bar staff were excellent. Rooms were lovely and large, toiletries provided. Breakfast was minimal and the same everyday this is a reason for 4/5 compared to the breakfast choice in Marrakech. Had water provided first day but then had to pay or buy in local supermarket. Hotel was at far end of prom but restaurants were within walking distance. Pool was lovely and beds available each day. Could not fault the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.

We booked a spa and hammam. It was excellent. The staff were really professional and super friendly. We enjoyed the pool after a long car trip in the desert. The room was very clean and spacious for the 3 of us, but it was a bit warm even though we had the AC on.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was more like a lunch buffet for our taste. A lot of warm dishes and sweets. This is a minor detail that the hotel can easily improve. For example, there were two different kinds of yogurt on the table, but nothing that could be added to it. Or you could get a nice, warm waffle, but no whipped cream, only jams were available.

In Agadir for the first time and only a long weekend, but we will definitely return! When we do it will be without doubt back to Hotel Timoulay. The hotel is well located with minutes of everything you might need, beach and restaurants. The walk to the marina was long but fine if you enjoy walking. The rooms are huge! With the biggest bed I have ever slept in! Shower temperature was sometimes a bit hit and miss. Lovely pool area and no issues generally with finding sun beds. Bar was reasonably priced although there was no issues with drinking your own drinks poolside. The whole hotel was very, very clean. What made the experience, was without a doubt the staff, they were always so willing to engage in conversation and nothing was too much trouble for them. From reception, to cleaning staff, bar staff to security man. I have never stayed in a hotel with such fabulous staff before ~ if they read this, thanks for making our stay such a wonderful experience. We were b&b and the breakfast was fine, particularly the outside kitchen for fresh omelette, pancakes and waffles. A couple of odd items on there like pasta bake and boiled veg but lots of other options.

We enjoyed our Monday to Friday stay here in March as a couple. Perfect for a short get away, clean hotel, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Bathroom spacious and shower fantastic. Pool side small but there was enough sunbeds- not sure how well this works in peak season! Pool water freezing...but it was March so expected! Breakfast included; people complaing about this but there is something for everyone. My other half is Eastern European and he loved all the hot food (that we would think was a evening meal!) For his breakfast! Omelette from outside kitchen was lovely. Drinks reasonably priced and staff members were lovely. We used the spa and they offered a wonderful treatment- was very relaxing and again at a good price. I unfortunately had a accident whilst I was away and the hotel catered excellent for me then being in a wheelchair (they provided it) for the last 2 days of my holiday. We would rate here and definitely stay again for a short trip. Had everything we needed and was clean, spacious rooms (newly done) and wonderful staff. Thankyou Timoulay 🥰

The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure guests felt welcome and satisfied. They truly excelled in maintaining happiness among their visitors. The breakfast offered was both delicious and enjoyable, and the hotel's restaurant served quality meals at reasonable prices. The Timoulay Spa was excellent, providing a truly relaxing experience with attentive services. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, making it easy to enjoy seaside outings. Additionally, the excursions organised by the hotel were well-managed and added great value to our stay.

This is a tranquil hotel. It is clean and well maintained. The staff are attentive. The pool is large and comfortable with plenty of poolside loungers. The bar is well stocked and comfortable. It was a lovely few days.
Cons: I'd advise that you pay for meals and drinks at each round to avoid any misunderstanding.

The staff were exceptional always friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and very spacious. We were allocated a room on a high floor as requested, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss if you don't like sweet foods (plenty of cakes and pastries) The food wasn't always labeled as to what was in it and when I asked if a dish was vegetarian they didn't know. They could use a larger pool as sometimes there wasn't enough room for all the guests. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a great stay in Agadir.

Just arrived home after a week’s holiday to Morocco staying at Timoulay Hotel and whilst it was far from a bad experience, there are a couple of things that could be improved. I’ll start with the main positives as there are lots of them. First of all as mentioned in many other reviews, the cleanliness of this hotel cannot be faulted and hats off to the cleaners who must work around the clock to keep on top of everything! I don’t think I saw a single spec of dirt in our room or in any other part of the hotel for our whole stay. All the staff were friendly enough and on arrival we had our suitcases taken to our room which is always a nice touch! Reception were always on hand to help if needed. The rooms are huge and have everything you need apart from a kettle which would be nice for the first morning cuppa! We had a pool and seaview room which was lovely. We paid for the 3-day (it’s not whole days, it’s only 1.5 hours on 3 days you choose) sublime spa experience at the hotel which was good, although very very similar on each day (Hammam and a massage basically) and at times it felt rushed in the Hammam. I probably would have just paid for one Hamman and a massage if I knew this would be the case. All the ladies were friendly nevertheless! Location was reasonably good and it was about a 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to the closest beach restaurant and 10 minute walk to the nearest “town” which has a few restaurants. We used taxis a lot to get about to places that weren’t walking distance, but don’t get them from outside the hotel as they rip you off!! You can get them cheaper if you go away from the hotel a bit. Now onto the not so good things…. The food! The food was really not good. We paid for breakfast and dinner and what a mistake that was. For breakfast, yes you do have an egg station however omelette for 7 days gets a bit boring. The other hot options for breakfast on some days were cauliflower cheese, tuna stuffed tomatoes, tuna pasta, green beans, potatoes…. They do have bread and a selection of croissants but the hot options were just awful which is what I feel like I have paid for. Dinner was even worse, basically what you get for breakfast but maybe with a different meat dish thrown in there. We went out to eat most nights as otherwise I was going hungry. I’m not a fussy eater but I was pretty disappointed at what was on offer. There was also a cat caught jumping up and eating the tuna pasta at one point. There is a rooftop bar next door which plays loud music every night until the early hours which can be heard very clearly and will keep you awake. Worst of all we had to have the door open as it was too hot to have it closed. The air conditioning was blowing out hot air so when I told reception about this, I was told it’s because it’s not “hot enough” for the air conditioning yet so they haven’t turned it on and it’s to be used as a heating unit. Now coming from a Brit who is used to single digit temperatures, sleeping under a duvet in 15-17 degree heat is hot and I needed air conditioning! But had to settle with the door open which obviously just made the noise seem louder. The WiFi doesn’t work in the room, I only got WiFi when I was in the bar/eating area/pool area so something to bear in mind if you rely on this. Also housekeeping starts really early like 07:30, scraping tables and chairs in the room above you which woke me up as it was so loud. The pool was absolutely freezing, I managed to get in once after a lot of deep breathes but something I was expecting. Sun beds are reserved early morning which is annoying, especially when a towel has been there 09:00-14:00 and still no sign of the people!! The hotel is very quiet in the evenings, no entertainment and not even any music in the bar area. I think I was in bed before 21:30 on the two nights we stayed at the hotel for a drink. Overall, if you are looking for a very quiet, out of the way hotel then this might be the one for you. My main issue was the food unfortunately and that is a real shame as I am a massive foodie! I wish we hadn’t paid for it. We also booked a couple of excursions through getyourguide.com which were brilliant and defo recommend them - again cheaper than the ones advertised at the hotel and you can see other people’s reviews to see if it is worth doing.

We truly did have such a lovely week full of nothing but sunbathing, reading, eating, exploring and sleeping. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, nothing was too much - we were able to check in early for no extra fee and with what seemed to be no fuss, we were offered Moroccan tea while we waited a few minutes for our keys to be given to us etc. We were told that somebody would come to see us and give us a map/show us some possible excursions we could do during our stay which was all fine. We decided to book a couple - the Crocopark which we actually really enjoyed, and the sunset camel ride with BBQ overlooking the King’s Palace - this one, not so good. Not good at all, infact. We’ll go back to this. The hotel is in a great location - a 5 minute walk to the beach with restaurants and shops one way, and a 10 min walk to more of a ‘town’ and shops the opposite way. The pool was FREEZING, but I managed to get in a couple of times. Sun loungers are good, comfy, but quite a few are reserved and never used during the day which is a shame. I think staff could be a lot more pro-active in that area. The food we had was mostly good - the omelette/pancake/waffle station was our favourite and something we made the most of daily. There was always a wide selection of bits and pieces to go for at breakfast and we didn’t struggle at all to have a good, fulfilling breakfast. Lunch by the pool was also good (it’s the same as the room service options and also the dinner menu if you don’t get the buffet) - burgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, omelette, salad etc etc. We tried the evening buffet one night which was not really to our taste, but it was ok - very expensive for what it was though, around £15 per person for some picky bits on a plate. The room was VERY spacious, very clean and offered a lovely view over the pool (with a sea view too). The mattress was again, a little hard for my liking, but that’s personal preference. There aren’t many English channels on the TV but there’s Netflix/Prime/YouTube etc if you care to watch TV - and also if the WiFi doesn’t drop out. WiFi only really worked consistently around the pool/restaurant, rather than in the room. Again, not a huge deal breaker for us. Housekeeping start very early, around 7am you can hear the staff talking and laughing quite loud outside the room whilst they are sweeping and mopping etc - my partner slept through this, but I’m quite a light sleeper. Which then leads me to mention the noise from the hotel opposite, which is a lot. Every evening there is music playing quite loud until the early hours. Not enough to ruin my holiday or bother to move rooms, but noticeable. I heard other guests talking about it too, so it wasn’t just us. All of the staff were SO friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing felt like too much trouble at all, but I wasn’t so keen on the ladies from the Spa waking me from a nap on a sun lounger to try and sell me a massage. Back to the camel ride. Eeek. We were sold a camel ride with beautiful scenic views, finishing off with a BBQ by the river overlooking the King’s Palace, where we would dine at sunset watching flamingos. This couldn’t have been further from the truth. I was soooooo disappointed. We were picked up on a party bus that had no seats left, so we had to sit up front with the driver while the host just stood up in the back, and the closer we got to the camel riding spot, the more we realised we had made a mistake. We were driven down a dirt track and taken to what can only be described as an actual slum run by children, with loose dogs running around, and camels and horses just tied up. It may well have been close to the King’s Palace, but it was probably the place where the servants are sent to sleep and raise goats. Granted, we went to ride camels, but we didn’t expect what we experienced. The whole thing felt dirty, slightly dangerous, there were awful smells, piles of rubbish, malnourished animals, all topped off with clouds of mosquitos which enjoyed feasting on us. We were loaded on to a camel (with quite a lot of shouting being directed at tourists), walked in a loop along a dirt track with no view, taken to a river where people were fishing (no flamingos), and returned to the base camp where we sat and waited for iftar to finish before we were acknowledged further - completely respect the religion, but maybe don’t run this excursion during Ramadan so that people aren’t just left lingering for a long period of time with no idea what’s going on. Oh, and the man leading the camel asked for a tip before we were allowed to move away from the camel. The sun had already set and we were clearly not having any sort of sunset BBQ overlooking flamingos. We asked if we could be returned to our hotel because nothing was quite what it was supposed to be, and we both felt uneasy. This didn’t seem to be an issue, and when we got back to the taxi, there was already another angry couple waiting to be taken back to their hotel too… Everybody was looking at each other questioning what on earth had happened. Not sure what was on offer at the BBQ because we didn’t stay, and actually I’m not mad about it. Maybe we were all sold a dream. If we had seen the rep, we would have asked for a refund but sadly we flew home the next morning and didn’t get the chance to speak to him about it. I’d like to hope that the hotel are able to offer some sort of compensation, as they were the ones who suggested we sat down with the rep. Although not a reflection of the hotel, it did definitely tarnish our last evening of what was otherwise a lovely holiday. I don’t usually write reviews and I’m so torn about this one because the hotel was genuinely lovely, but I’d hate for someone else to go through what we did by booking some of the excursions. Oh, you can only pay him cash, too. Both of our trips the transport was late to collect us too. But again, this isn’t the hotel so it may all be irrelevant. Would we stay here again? Absolutely yes, in a heartbeat. Thank you for having us!

Staff were very friendly.Room very clean. The hotel on the whole very quite, however two days in a row woken early by cleaners, before 8.scrubbing in hall way, as it echos, then other time, moving and scraping of furniture in room above.Spoke to others that were staying and said the same. No fault of hotel, but nightclub opposite lould,if your light sleepers .shops and bars further out then stated.if your not great walker, Again no fault of hotels but rough land out front, with quite bit of rubbish and stray dogs. All hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely massage by Alisha. Did say shame that nothing going on in the evening.even some games like cards dominoes,as understand it is a quite hotel . Plus maybe a dart board or French boul,in a small part of grass, for something to do during day, just to get couples talking??.loved that on whole it was quite, but just a little something to do,as everything out further then expected.

Lovely hotel. Absolutely spotless, nice buffet breakfast. Booked a deluxe room. It's huge, big balcony with a pool and sea view. Nice big bathroom. We only stayed 4 nights as a short break but would stay again. It's a short walk to the promenade where there are restaurants, bars and shops A walk to Agadir Bay is about 20/25 mins but a taxi is only a few pounds.

We just had a week in the Timoulay Hotel and Spa. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. However, a couple of things took this from 5 to 4 rating for us. The hotel itself is very nice. Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool area, and comfy beds. What marked it down for us was breakfast and housekeeping. Breakfast can only be described as unusual. The hot buffet breakfast could consist of.. Pasta bake alongside cheese topped tomatoes filled with tuna, cauliflower rice alongside bowls of lentils, fried aubergine, cooked carrots, and green beans. A lot of items are cooked with onions! There was a good selection of pastries that went down well. The other negative for us was the early arrival of housekeeping. Our initial visit was around 08:30 to our room, which was a bit of surprise when we were in bed. Definitely put the "Do Not Disturb" on the door. However, we were woken early every morning by the furniture being scrapped (during a clean) in rooms above and around us, which was really annoying after a while. Having said that, we would go again. Location to beach front and restaurants (in front and behind the hotel) were in easy walking distance.

The pool is beautifully manages with big loungers as well as sun beds, the hotel provide pool towels which really helps and are always fresh. The pool is very sheltered and reflects the sun giving an all round warm and sunny area. Breakfast is fresh and varied, with something to suit everyone from fresh fruit and yoghurt to an array of great pastries. They make fresh omelettes and pancakes to order and you have the choice on seating inside and out. The rooms are great with balcony’s over the pool or to the seafront. Our suite was spotless and the attention to detail the girls give is amazing. The beds are firm, wide and comfortable. TVs with Netflix and Amazon prime. Our favourite thing is seeing girls arrange towels and making their daily sculptures inc small people and romantic swans.
Cons: Everything suited us well , we like the proximity to the each. The sunsets from the balcony’s and location to restaurants locally.

Great size room & balcony. Comfortable bed. Pool area was very well kept. Good buffet style breakfast with plenty of selection & option for omelettes from chef outside. We ate in the restaurant one of the evenings, there was a fantastic selection & food was delicious. We used the Spa twice, we had a Hammam massage & it was so good we went back later in the week for full body massage. Prices were very reasonable. All the staff were very pleasant extremely helpful & very attentive. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.

The hotel is located at one end of the beach area - just a short walk to the beach itself. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity as well as mini-markets and alcohol shops. The room was on the top floor with a sunny terrace overlooking the pool which was the main selling point for us as the weather is constantly good. Fairly comfortable bed. Wifi was reasonable. Lovely swimming pool which is not heated but is covered overnight so that the daytime temperature for a dip is very pleasant.
Cons: One of the main downsides is the neighbouring Al Borj hotel which has an infamous Rooftop bar which caters for very noisy events that last well into the early hours of the morning. We used our airconditioner to drown out some of the noise. Breakfast was reasonable but one night we ate in the restaurant and it was a rather poor standard. With the intention of coming back to Agadir for a longer stay, we visited various other hotels/hotel apartments and found the Timoulay to be high-priced compared to elsewhere.

Overall stay here was good. It's a little away from the main area of the town but taxi always available outside. Staff helpful, even if service was a little slow at times especially if there were many people checking in. Area by pool very nice. We had a suite and space was great. 2 bathroom, bedroom and living area with balcony. Main shower was very slow and poor to drain though, and wifi was very patchy and not reliable in room, but fine in main areas of hotel. Had a bit of an issue with shuttle service booked by hotel to take us to airport. Didn't realise it was a shared service and driver made us feel awkward about having to give change. Otherwise good stay and would consider using hotel again if in area.

Immaculately clean, the hotel is small and friendly. Staff are superb, everywhere is spotlessly clean. Really good value. Included breakfast was a bonus especially if you're ok with a Continental offering, hot options are shall we say eclectic although they are happy to cook eggs to order. The hotel cat, I now believe every hotel should have one (or more)
Cons: No false advertising by the hotel, but the outdoor pool isn't heated so only for a quick dip when we visited at the start of December. Lack of hot water, was ok through the day but if you like a shower before bed was usually running cold after 10PM. Better maintenance, the guest bathroom in our suite was missing a door in the shower, and some loose handles etc

We had the most amazing 3 nights at Timoulat Hotel and Spa. The hotel has a feeling of incredible luxury and restfulness that you get with some big hotels but the friendliness and warmth of a smaller hotel. The staff at reception were always incredibly friendly and nothing was ever too much of an ask. The room was spotlessly clean and massive! We got a suite which was worth the upgrade space wise as we had a bathroom each. The breakfast each morning was all you would want and the pool space was a perfect suntrap all day. The staff throughout our stay were always friendly and kind and professional and clearly actually liked their jobs which is so nice to see. We commented that we have never seen so much cleaning and care and attention at a hotel before! We would also recommend the spa facilities - the treatments are luxurious and relaxing and finished our stay nicely. About a 25 minute walk along the seafront to the most happening parts of Agadir but the quietness and the comfort we felt in the location was perfect. One thing we did notice when we were sat in the “living room” area of our suite was the noise from the rooftop bar over the road often went on until midnight, but we didn’t hear this in the bedroom and bathrooms. We will most definitely be back

The hotel was kept spotlessly clean in all areas. Pool area was mopped, rooms were cleaned daily with great fun in the linen setup, bathrooms were kept spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout
Cons: Whilst breakfast had all of the expected Moroccan breakfast items, the additional hot items were at times disappointing with what looked to be an re-appearance of some items from night before eg pasta bake, moules marinerre and fried potatoes. Staff were great, we were given a room upgrade as our room wasn't available on arrival which was amazing! Everything was clean. I had a fabulous massage which was very cheap by UK standards. Breakfast choices were good.
Cons: The hotel is dated now and not that luxurious. I wouldn't call it 4*. Not the hotels fault but there were people sitting around the pool being overtly racist which I did not like - do not come to Morocco if you feel this way. There was a smell in the room and the wifi wasn't great.

There was great buffet style breakfast with good selection of choices and you could order fresh omelet with your preferences every day. There is buffet style dinner as well, if you haven't booked half board, you can pay 200 DIR to participate or you can just order individual dishes from the menu (you can do this in room service as well). They also offer beer, wine and cocktails too, which is great. They've also got me a bag of gluten free bread for breakfast, which I really appreciated. For some reason they didn't seem very accommodating about this when I enquired in advance, but when I was there they were really helpful and willing to source this for me by the morning, so I was really happy with that. They also explained what was gluten free at dinner. The offering at the buffet dinner was different each day, we were really happy with the choices on our first day (variety and taste were both good), but the next two days were not that nice... (less choice and less tasty too) so I guess it depends on the cook. Parking was just by the pavement right outside the hotel or on a piece of land just across the road from the entrance. There was also a gym and spa but we haven't used those. You can also ask for towels for the pool. And the rooms have great sound proofing windows that keeps the outside noise out fairly well, however you could hear some noise from rooms around you.
Cons: There was an awful smell in the bathroom, which just got stronger towards the evening, the only unpleasant thing about our stay there... They cleaned our room properly every day, but the smell kept coming back, so I think they should install those air freshener devices that release air freshener periodically, would really help!

Room was very spacious with a full living room seperate to the bedroom which was perfect for an evening watching TV if you wanted to. Lots of wardrobe space for two people also and a really great shower. Pool was fantastic with plenty of loungers around with umbrellas if needed. There is a great road of restaurants and cafes about a 10 minute walk from the hotel which was perfect for nice dinners. Reception staff and door staff also super lovely and helpful.
Cons: The buffet wasn't the best, but for the price it served it's purpose. The fitness suite also wasn't the most advanced, but we were on holiday, so didn't mind too much. Tours offered were overpriced and limited, so I would recommend going onto tour websites and finding options yourself.

A really lovely, small hotel on the outskirts of the main city of Agadir, but close to an up-and-coming new district with restaurants, shops, cafes, etc. Only about 5 minutes walk down to the beach and the promenade. The staff at the hotel were all super friendly, helpful and polite for us and were only too happy to help. Nice little pool area with a good number of beds around it. We never struggled to get a spot at any time of the day. All the food and drink we had at the hotel was nice and reasonably priced. We had beauty treatments and massages in the spa, which we all thought were fantastic value. The rooms were a good size and our balcony (2nd floor) had a nice view out to the sea. 2 separate beds instead of a double, although they were comfortable. Temperature in the room stayed a good range. Generally really quiet, other than the odd movement from people above. Décor simple, rooms clean and bright. Cleaners often added some really lovely touches to the rooms (towels in heart shapes, etc.) My daughter fell in love with the cute adopted hotel cat, who mainly sleeps in the foyer. I think overall, we really liked our stay and would definitely go back, if we chose to return to Agadir.

We stayed at the Timoulay for 5 lovely days. The hotel is lovely, modern and clean. We had a suite which had two bathrooms(!), a generous double bedroom and living room with a sofa bed for the kids. (No kettle for tea though which would have been nice) On arrival we had a basket of fruit waiting in our room, which was lovely. The staff are absolutely fantastic, polite and always ready to help. We also had breakfast included, which was very good. Lots of options and a chef who would make your eggs just the way you wanted it, and also offered crepes and waffles on some days. There is a lovely pool area - the hotel was quiet when we were there- I believe this was their off-season but it was nice to not have lots of people and actually enjoy the space. The only downside for us, and why I haven't given the hotel 5 stars, is the location. The hotel is the middle of what felt like wasteland, with lots of litter strewn about and not much in the way of shops or other amenities nearby. To get to the main drag, (Agadir Bay), which has some fantastic restaurants, you have to navigate a somewhat intimidating walk, past abandoned developments and I just felt unsafe doing that at night. You could take a taxi but it's only a 10min walk so that seems an unnecessary cost. As much as I liked the hotel, I think I'd stay somewhere closer to the Bay.

Great hotel - very modern design and interior, but the staff and service are on another level - they could not do enough to help and ensure your stay is perfect. Stayed in a suite which had a large bedroom area, was fully kitted out with 2 bathrooms, living area with fridge, and large patio overlooking the pool. Had breakfast in the hotel and it was very good.
Cons: Hotel bar is quite quiet and we only had drinks the first night. There is another hotel close by with a lounge on the roof that was much more lively though.

Beautiful hotel, very clean with lovely pool view, and lovely facilities in the room. Even gave you shower caps. Breakfast was nice and they kept topping up with plenty of food. Very nice people with lovely manners. Taxis available outside to take you where you want, minimum will charge 50MAD. Cleaners do a wonderful job, keep the place lovely and clean. A little away from the hustle and bustle but let's you have a good nights sleep. Definitely would stay here again. Book well in advance to get a good price
Cons: A/C was not working in one of the rooms but was ok because the room was overall manageable temperature. One of the bathrooms had a drainage smell

The suites are superb. Spacious and with two bathrooms. Spotlessly clean. All staff extremely friendly and helpful
Cons: The breakfast choice was limited. The same 3 cereals every day. Most of the hot options not to our taste - pasta and roasted veg mostly. The fruit selection was basic - I'd have liked to see slices of melon and pineapple for instance.

We had a comfortable one night stay before flying early out of Agadir airport. Staff were all wonderful and very friendly (and multilingual!) We checked in after 3pm, and managed to book spa / hammam treatments on arrival, which made for a wonderful last day of the holiday. The restaurant is very relaxed and next to the pool. The hotel also has a handy gift shop, understandably pricier than the market but nonetheless useful for spending last few dirham! The room & balcony were spacious and comfortable for our family for 2 adults and 2 small kids.

The hotel is spotless, the staff polite and very helpful, large comfortable rooms, very quiet at night and fully equipped. The pool area is stylish and relaxed. Staff are willing to help with any queries, such as taxis, excursions, and currency exchange. Ideal location just a short walk to the beach or to Agadir Bay which has lovely restaurants. I travelled as a single woman with my son, and we had a wonderful time. The hotel was way above my expectations, and we can't wait to return.

Excellent service from the moment we walked into reception. They weren't expecting us as there had been a mix-up on the booking system. This was quickly rectified, and we were checked in early. Great room looking out/ backing onto pool area. Great selection on buffet breakfast, fresh, cooked to order on omelette, etc. Bar area and prices were good with sports on TV"s....Eurro's, Tour de France etc. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like about the hotel. It wasn't in a central location, but it wasn't far down to the promenade, and a good long walk along the beach gave you a look at what was on offer.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and again the experience is surprisingly good. The hotel is intimate (compared to the beachfront behemoths) and well managed. Service and cleanliness - impeccable. Spacious rooms and well-kept common areas. About 5 minutes to the beach. The only minus (it's not the hotel's fault) is the ruined surroundings towards the city.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a suit which was very spacious. The beds were very hard and we had to ask for softer pillows. We also had to ask for bathrobes and slippers which were advertised as part of our booking. The food was generally good.

The staff are just the best! So friendly and welcoming, and so very helpful. You feel cared for and looked after by all of them. The customer service and warmth we experienced here is by far the best we have ever experienced. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide range of foods to suit everybody. Most of us were veggies and 2 vegans, but we managed to feel satisfied most days with the buffet. The hotel was very clean and visually stunning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Easy to arrange taxis to locations and trips out.
Cons: Would be amazing to have some more vegan friendly options on the lunch menu. The lunch menu wasn't to our liking. The dinner buffet would have been more suitable if they had more options for veggies and vegans. Some people had problems with WiFi connectivity in their rooms, but others were fine.

They also stop along the road to offer you lifts anywhere you wish to go. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

I did not use the pool, however the stay overall was great experience. We enjoyed breakfast as they had toast/eggs/yogurt and just basic things we liked. The rooms were nice and got tidied everyday. I travelled with my 3 sisters and we had 2 rooms next to each other. What we loved about our stay was the staff! We were so welcomed and they helped with whenever we needed. The security guy Idris was absolutely lovely as well as the receptionists. We will be coming back for sure.
Cons: The location was abit further than we expected as it was not in the middle like some hotels but its a good place if you want to relax/stay in the hotel to use their facilities.

Great base to explore Agadir. Staff were super helpful, it was very clean and great value. We had some issues with noisy neighbours and they sorted it immediately without any fuss. The location is on the edge of the tourist area but red taxis were so cheap if you didn't fancy walking then we hopped in one of those. We didn't even get to use the gym and I'd still say it was great value for money.

Incredible boutique hotel. What a gem of hotel. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The daytime receptionist was outstanding: welcoming and noting our departure time said she would organise a packed lunch for us as we would miss breakfast. The night receptionist was very attentive and printed our return boarding tickets within 2 minutes. It was an absolute delight staying here . The hotel was immaculate , the pool was well maintained and clean. The huge room was spotless, very comfortable beds and freshly docorated. The food was delicious, plentiful and well presented. The large double sunbeds and plush seating area were cleaned every day. They obviously have great employees with a focus on customer service . Having previously been at the bigger all inclusives in Agadir I would defintely return to this boutique hotel with personalised service. Highly recommend for a tranquil and bespoke experience.

They are so kind and welcoming. They’re incredibly helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. One of my best hotel experiences ever!
Cons: The WiFi signal in our room was very bad and it meant we had to do all our internet use in the main reception area or during breakfast etc. Also meant that we couldn’t use the smart tv in the room as it constantly lost signal. We’d would also have liked to have a coffee machine in the room.

The staff were exceptional in every area of the Hotel. They just couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The Timoulay Hotel & Spa is spotlessly clean and the food for breakfast caters for all tastes; evening meal available in buffet style (all you can eat for €20) or A La Carte menu also available. Beds were very comfy, the delux double is a very large room. The bathrooms are spacious and super powerful showers with oceans of hot water. Anything you need can be requested at reception, we asked for a kettle, no problem, got one immediately. Free pool towels for all guests. I recommend everyone gets a treatment in the Spa, it’s wonderful and the staff are delightful 😊

We recently stayed for 4 days (3 nights). We arrived early at 11am. Check in was 3pm. The hotel reception manager Ms Imane was so kind and helpful. Seriously running around to help you out asap! She gave us a nice sea front room immediately instead of waiting 4hrs. The rooms are cleaned everyday. I mean the floors in your room are WASHED each day! That’s why there are no cockroaches or ants hanging about unlike some of the other beachfront hotels here. In the morning the breakfast was great with the omelette station to cook the eggs the way you like them and fresh juices! In the evening we had dinner at the hotel’s buffet restaurant which was a little expensive at 200DH each and 20DH each for soft drinks in cans. But hey, the selection of starters, mains and sweet dishes was one of the best I’ve seen. Eat much as you like and stay as long as you like!

Pool, restaurant, bar facilities were very good and all staff especially reception were fantastic. The organised airport pick up and return trips were on time and efficient. The one excursion organised via hotel rep was first class, good value for money and the camel ride was memorable for all the right reasons.
Cons: WIFI - Once we moved away from the main areas as lobby, restaurant etc the wifi was less effective and non existent in our rooms! We expected better. There was no atmospheric music around the pool or inside which might be an improvement going forward. Not being able to buy local currency via a bank card at the hotel was something you might want to look at in future. Even if you limit it to a minimal amount it’s better to have this facility. It was suggested we make a withdrawal from a bank instead but one wasn’t local nor convenient in our time-frame.

Returned to this hotel and as good as the last time. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Pool guy was superb - friendly, eager to help. Breakfast is a large choice - with omlettes to order fresh. We were only B&B, but ate once at the restaurant. Food was good but service slow - really needed more staff. Stayed in a suite - well worth it for the extra space and sea view. Do not forget the spa - we used it on 3 occassions. Therapists excellent. Price really good. Well worth a visit.

Room was amazing. Spacious and fab view. Receptionist (female) was so helpful and pleasant. Pool was clean and inviting. Comfy poolside area and beds. Pastries, breads and salads at breakfast were delicious. Some of the 'hot food' was nice. The excursions were great. Birthday cake generously supplied free of charge.
Cons: No tea and coffee making facilities in bedroom, which upon waking was really lacking for me. No ambience in dining room or bar. For example they could play some relaxing music in there and in the lounge. Felt a bit unsafe walking out from the hotel at night. It was quite far out from 'other' hotels or people walking around. This restricted our evenings to the hotel unless we got a taxi which we did on 2 nights. Perhaps a complimentary shuttle bus? (2 females). The breakfast hot food was not hot, the scrambled eggs were cold which was disappointing. Not enough tea selection at breakfast and on one occasion had to ask for tea as it had not been 'topped up'. The hot selection at dinner was not hot, only lukewarm which was disappointing for me. A large bottle of water was expensive in the hotel.

We only stayed one night but wished it was longer. Several aspects stand out but the best was how helpful and friendly the staff were during our stay. They helped us arrange restaurants, taxis, held our luggage after we had checked out until our late transfer. The waiting staff for lunch and breakfast were very friendly and accommodating (we were a large group). The bedrooms were large, spotlessly clean and most had a lovely balcony looking out onto the pool area. We ate lunch in the hotel twice and had breakfast once. The food was very good and very reasonably priced (as was the drinks - they do serve alcohol here - not everywhere in Morocco does). The pool area was very pleasant, spotlessly clean and a lovely place to get some winter sunshine (it was 23C when we stayed here in late February). Overall we would definitely return.
Cons: No complaints.

Me and my girlfriend, we completely enjoyed our stay, even though we stayed only for 5 nights. The girl at the reception Imane, she was just amazing and so kind and helpful in every respect. She went out of her way to help us. All the other staff, from the reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping, the pool area were very friendly and serviable. The breakfast was fantastic a full continental breakfast with an omelette stand, every morning different things were served (pan cakes, crepes, waffles). All the common areas, the bar was so clean and shiny. Just immaculately spick and span. The room was amazing, the first time we stayed in a suite, there were two bathrooms, with a separate bedroom, saloon with balcony, two very comfortable couches. All in all it was just a wonderful and relaxing stay. The beach was less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: The few things we found not to our liking were that in the hotels menu card for lunch and dinner they weren't a single typical local Moroccan dish, (NO couscous, NO tajine). It was mainly burgers, pizza pasta... Very disappointing. There were no grocery stores of any kind near the hotel or money exchange or tabac. There were a few taxis in front of the hotel but they were ripping off and charging way too much. So you need to be very careful, even the taxis called by the hotel left expensive personally.

Great value hotel . Our room was on the first floor with the corridor open air .Unfortunately every night there was loud thumping music & singer from an open roof bar oposite us 12.30/45 Also a pump Like noise in n the hotel that seemed to come on about every 45 min for 10 mins which was very disturbing & annoying.Such a pity as otherwise a great hotel nice big room ,great shower & decent breakfast although a bit shy of n the fruit.
Cons: Noise at night time

breakfast can be taken in the dining room or on the adjoining terrace. Good selection of cereals, fruits, meats, cheese and breads. Individual tastes also catered for by the friendly staff.
Cons: there are a number of undeveloped sites and derelict properties adjacent to the hotel, but it is only a short walking distance to the the beach and to the new city of Founty.

We loved the room. It was very spacious and bright. The furniture and the paintings were very nice. The woman from reception was lovely and supportive- thank you for everything! The hotel was 10 minutes from the beach and it had a nice pool with sunbeds.
Cons: - the door from bathroom was doing a terrible noise so we had to leave it open all the time; - when we had a massage, we were expecting a small greeting with a cup of tea and maybe a short questionnaire about the health condition and massage; - one night we had dinner and the fish we ordered (John’s fillet) did not have any taste at all :(. - the breakfast is varied and ok, but not quite Morrocan (in case you would have expected it) - while this is not the hotel’s fault, in the fields nearby you can see uncollected garbage. This is somehow something common you will see in Morroco.

Stayed here for 4 nights in January. Considering the price, absolutely delightful. Nice clean bedroom with separate sitting area. 5 sports channels, two English movie channels, and good wifi. The weather was 21... just perfect for us. The pool was clean, and comfortable sun beds. The gym was a nice addition. The breakfast has a nice range of edibles.. and if there is something else you want (we like fruits) they will do their best to find it for you. JUST ASK. Staff really friendly and helpful. We felt very safe wherever we went. Way beyond our expectations. Only twenty rooms in the hotel - so community feeling. Well done to all the staff and thank you. The hotel is around three miles from the main town, but there's a lovely sea promenade peppered with restaurants and coffee shops to break up the walk. Taxis are cheap. 15 minutes east of the hotel is a collection of enjoyable restaurants and coffee shops with good quality food at reasonable prices. We went to Mr Fish and Yazuki - both exceeded our expectations.

The bedroom was comfortable, well-sized and clean. Staff were very friendly. There was a bar and restaurant which served decent food. The breakfast buffet was very good. The outdoor swimming pool was a joy - though unheated.
Cons: The location is okay but not wonderful as the area is rather on the outskirts of the central region but, nevertheless, it's a short walk from the beach. The marina area - which has many restaurants - is a 30-45 minute walk away. The wi-fi could be improved. We stayed for two nights and on one of the nights, in particular, we were disturbed by loud music into the early hours of the morning from a neighbouring hotel. Also, the sound insulation between rooms could be better. Generally, it's a very nice hotel with very pleasant staff but it does have a couple of negatives.

Staff were extremely friendly from reception to night porter to restaurant staff. The food choices for breakfast for super. Try the Moroccan pancakes. We ate lunch almost everyday on the terrace. The prawn salad was amazing. We also had a Hamman in the hotel. One of the most memorable experiences ever. We booked the sunset camel tour with the hotel which was also fantastic.

Spacious, well laid out room with comfortable bed and good sized balcony over looking the pool. Sofa in room. Great sunbeds. Quiet location. Peaceful feel. Short walk (downhill) to the beach. Nice view to the beach outside room. Moroccan sofas in communal area. Hotel clean (except outdoor dining -see comments below) Nice breakfast food, especially freshly cooked omelettes, hot buffet vegetables and bread for toast. Nice pool.
Cons: Waiters not clearing away dirty finished with plates at breakfast resulting in birds landing on them and then pooping on the table and chairs. This poop was then not cleared up by hotel staff and I ended up with bird poop on my hand once and on my dress once. Having to ask for plates, bowls, mugs, orange juice etc at buffet breakfast as resources not replenished by waiting staff. This happened on most days. Plenty of staff just not seeming to notice when things needed replacing; clearing away; cleaning; replenishing. One waiter did work hard and tried his best (said his name was ‘Aladdin, like in the film’). Unresponsive waiter staff and hotel manager to my reported concerns about these issues. So issues continued throughout my stay. Waiter actually arguing with me about curdled gone off milk in my coffee rather than simply getting some fresh milk! Why?! Hotel food from snack menu was poor quality. Poor quality trips/ not as advertised. Wet stairs to breakfast area due to cleaning at same time as breakfast hours. Very slippery.

Cons: spa could've been better, it was mid. left for a good 7-10mins to relax by myself, was expecting a full 30mins massage but it was less. check-in could've been better for a 4* hotel (tea drinks or welcome drink). shower was quite bad, water kept going all over the place since the shower screen wasn't big enough so it didnt do its job. despite the cleaners cleaning it, it still shouldn't have to happen.

Always smiling and very helpful. We also had a spa there and it was really good! Definitely recommend getting a massage while you are there. Also the hotel is walking distance to many places like the beach, morjane (big supermarket) and Agadir bay which has many restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is centrally located which was ideal when going out in the evening or planning excursions. Although it is central, it was very quiet at night. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I had terrible WiFi in my room so they installed a router in my room which I appreciated! The room was spacious and had a lovely view.
Cons: The food was poor - I paid for breakfast and only ate twice during my stay. Dinner is overpriced and not good quality and the bar food was awful. It was a bit irritating having to request amenities that are usually in 4 star hotel rooms such as a kettle, teacups, and iron. I requested a transfer to and from the airport via the hotel and my transfer to the airport arrived 45 minutes late which was not ideal.

Lovely, welcoming and helpful staff, we were offered Moroccan tea on arrival. The suite is a great size with a very comfy super king bed and lovely large balcony. Food by the pool was reasonably priced and mostly tasty and the hotel is very clean.
Cons: Breakfast was pretty basic and missing some chopped fruit for the yoghurt, although the fresh juice selection was nice and you could ask for eggs to be cooked to your liking. The traditional decor and style in the room is nice and we liked it, however, the room could be updated with new items and some artwork maybe to give it a pop of colour as it’s very white and brown. More could be done to enhance the lovely Berber style. Some people were playing their own music by the pool out of a speaker, we found this bizarre as it’s not for them to expect that everyone will enjoy their music! I would always listen to my music on headphones, as everyone has different taste and some people are looking for quiet. Maybe a policy of no music speakers by the pool would be good 👍🏼

Fab breakfast and decent location - easy to walk to the beach (not the main area). Had an amazing massage too for a decent price! The staff were helpful and accommodating.
Cons: The "double" bed was two twin beds put together so it wasn't very comfortable, and neither were the mattresses. Walls / ceilings were thin. We could hear every footstep from above us and it sounded like they were moving furniture often. We had a "sea" view - you could see it a bit but mostly our view was a huge roundabout and cars everywhere, so being on the balcony wasn't particularly relaxing.

We had a fabulous time at the Timoulay .. the staff were over and above with great service and so friendly The food was delicious. The only complaint I had was that the pool was very cold and on booking .com it was stated that the pool was heated. That was dissapointung for my Grandson. . Very clean and staff were perfect. Mary and family
Cons: Pool not heated.

The room was clean and that is about the best I can say of the whole experience.
Cons: The wifi was non-existent, a basic of any hotel. Although not the direct fault of the Timoulay, the hotel next door was blaring music from the rooftop bar well into the night. There was no one there- we could see- it would have been embarrassing were it not so annoying. We could not sleep, the Timoulay really needs to talk to their neighbor hotels. It’s like they want to be the Vegas strip, but its in an awkward suburb. Terrible location, both in terms of hotel itself and its unfortunate spot next to the Borj hotel, the lame music thumping neighbor. Don’t stay here if you value sleeping.
