L’hôtel est charmant et confortable, avec une bonne literie. Le balcon est un véritable atout. L’établissement offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix et bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal.

Cons: La connexion internet dans la chambre était mauvaise, ce qui rendait impossible la connexion de la télévision pour regarder autre chose que les chaînes arabes. Nous étions au premier étage, au dessus de la salle du petit-déjeuner et avec vue sur piscine, et le bruit des chaises au petit-déjeuner et sur la terrasse le matin était un peu gênant.

Large room with balcony and beautiful handpainted furniture Excellent restaurant Walking distance to decor shops and department stores and 20 minute walk to YSL museum 24hr reception desk. We had an early 3am departure. They organised coffee and croissants for us to have in the lobby and a taxi to the airport, which we paid for.

The facilities were modern and spacious. The room included a small balcony which whilst not having a view per say provided a larger rest area for me to enjoy. The restaurant whilst pricey provided an excellent array of options for food. The quality of the food and drinks were great. The location was in the modern area of Marrakech and the area was safe to walk around and enjoy the various shops, restaurants and facilities around.

Cons: Le deuxième jour, notre chambre a été inondé suite à un problème technique de l’hôtel. Toutes nos affaires ont été trempé. Il a fallut descendre à la réception et insister à deux reprises avant qu’on nous change enfin de chambre. Personne ne nous a proposer de prendre nos affaires affaires pour les faire sécher plus rapidement. Personne ne s’est « excusé »pour le desagreament … Aucun geste, aucune aides, aucune excuse. L’hôtel propose des excursions organisé environ 3x le prix de ce qu’on a payé en passant sur Getyourguide, ou avec des locaux dans les commerces touristiques !

Location was good although it often required walks or cabs to the old town area. The included breakfast was a little unusual in that it was always 3 croissants, yogurt, and a cheese omelet whether you wanted it or not. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent!

Cons: No options in the included breakfast was a minor issue. I understand that is probably done for efficiency. We often felt as though we were wasting food.

Excellent restaurant food and the room balconies are a bonus. Front desk is very helpful. Rooms are nicely decorated and have air conditioning, closet space, and mini fridge. The murals on each level of this riad style hotel are beautiful. There is a small outdoor pool if desired.

Cons: The breakfast they serve is wasteful; too many items given to each person and we only eat a third of it. Makes more sense to have a checklist of what each person wants and just bring those items on the tray. Rooms are quite small compared to the photo angles online that appear much larger than they are. There were a few sketchy people wandering or just sitting on sidewalks in the neighborhood.

L'hôtel est très bien placé en plein centre de Gueliz. Youness le réceptionniste a été très réactif à mes demandes. je recommande cet hôtel. Cela fait deux fois que j'y ai séjourné.

Cons: Il y avait une fuite d'eau dans les toilettes. C'est dommage de gaspiller autant d'eau alors que le pays est en stress hydrique. L'eau est un bien précieux qu'il faut sauvegarder.

The staff, especially at reception, was very friendly, polite and welcoming. The location of the hotel was good, in a safe area, and you can easily reach sights in both Gueliz (such as the Jardin Majorelle and YSL museum) and the medina on foot. Breakfast was okay, with a selection of cold salads that changed daily, pastries and eggs.

Cons: The building itself is a little tired and room cleanliness could be improved. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm, but in the heat of Marrakech this was not a problem.

Cons: Stench of sewage emanating from the bathroom when I went to bed. I realised now why the plugs were in the sink and bathroom. Aircon was ancient and made so much noise all night that it was hard to get a decent sleep. Everything is just “dated”, I can imagine it was quite the place in its day, but those days are long gone.

I liked the small pool area and dining. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The decor was pleasing. The staff were helpful.

Cons: I am a light sleeper unfortunately if you had a room over the pool you had air-conditioning noise even with your own off. If you had a front room maybe the street below is quiet most of the week bit I was there Saturday evening and it was noisy. Music and restaurant goers below and cars honking as they left.

The room we had was very spacious, well equipped and cozy. We even had a little terrace. The location was nice for someone who doesn't want to stay in the medina, close to some nice restaurants and a bit more modern.

Cons: The breakfast was bad in my opinion and could be improved. They throw a few sticky supermarket pastries on a plate, give you a sugary yoghurt and serve that with store bought orange juice, marmalade and honey. It's cheap and just bad quality. For the price we paid, I expected more, especially since we had better experiences in cheaper riads in the country. Apart from that, perhaps because we were in the 5th floor, the water pressure in the shower was low.

All started well with a friendly greeting from the hotel manager ,but then it was just down hill .The hotel is in desperate need of redecoration and the rooms are very small with a balcony that is not big enough for two people to sit on. All of the above would have been acceptable for a short stay except for the appalling attitude of the male waiting staff. They were rude arrogant and downright disrespectful to my wife and myself .The 2 waitresses Dunya and Iman were and absolute delight and made the breakfast time a pleasure . Well done girls but as for the rest of the staff they need seriously shaking up.

Cons: Le transfert reservé de l’aéroport en avance à l’arrivée - pendant la nuit - n’a pas été respecté. L’hotel ne s’est pas excusé. Donc tout le monde marche dessus, bonjour les microbes, pas hygiénique du tout. La banquette marocaine est jolie, mais même principe, pas nettoyée donc pas propre. J'ai eu la peau qui me grattait... Les draps sont rêches, très durs, j'avais l'impression de dormir dans du carton. Pas de wifi de 15h au lendemain 11h. Nous sommes quand même dans un pays étranger, nous avons besoin d'être joints et de joindre nos proches. Je me retrouve avec 40 euros de frais pour avoir utilisé ma puce française pour une soirée. J'ai demandé un fer à repasser à 18h, il n'y en avait qu'un seul pour tout l'hôtel. Après avoir réclamé, cela a agacé, et on m'en a apporté un à 21h45, cassé. J'ai repassé mes vêtements mouillés, une catastrophe. Alors si vous n'avez pas les moyens, c'est ok, mais ne vous attendez pas à quelque chose de sympa. Si vous êtes en galère et que c'est le dernier choix, oui, mais autrement, il y a mieux au même prix ailleurs. Le prix n'est pas justifié, je suis désolé, il y a mieux pour le même prix.

That said, what truly made the difference during my stay was the receptionist, Marwa. Her professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help went above and beyond. She was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making guests feel comfortable. Honestly, if it weren't for Marwa, I don’t think I would have stayed more than one night. If you're looking for a modest hotel with great service, especially at the front desk, Marwa alone makes Hotel Le Caspien worth considering.

Je dois prendre du temps pour lui prouver qu’il s’agit du total des 2 nuits et pour finir nous payons en dirhams par carte, il ne sait pas utiliser le terminal, appelle de l’aide, et convertit avec un taux qui n’est pas celui du jour affiché au comptoir et évidemment moins avantageux pour nous.Nous demandons le taux actuel !! Il a corrigé, le cumul de toutes ces erreurs laissent une mauvaise impression dès l’arrivée

Hotel situato nella zona nuova di Marrakech, dove a soli 5 minuti a piedi troverete un moderno centro commerciale con Carrefour Market e Place Gueliz piena di negozi, bar e ristoranti. Noi avevamo un'ampia camera matrimonia dotata di TV, aria condizionata, frigobar, armadio, balconcino e bagno privato. Abbiamo provato la piscina per tutti gli ospiti, consigliata dopo una giornata in giro per Marrakech. Pulizia ottima, ogni giorno veniva rifatta la stanza e pulita. L'hotel dispone anche di un bar e ristorante. Alla reception si possono stampare le carte d'imbarco per l'aereoporto e cambia denaro contante. Possibilità di spostarsi per il centro città con taxi o autobus (fermata più vicina a 8 minuti a piedi).

Cons: La struttura avrebbe bisogno di una maggiore manutenzione.

Our tour through northern Morocco ended here and we were able to have a wonderful restful night before departing on our journey back home. Location is good for Majorelle Gardens (10min walk), and ok for the Medina - bit of a long walk (approx 30 mins to main square) in the heat but an easy taxi ride. Food for breakfast was a bit wasteful, as they bring an entire tray of food for each person - far more than we wanted for breakfast, so we just asked them to take some things straight back so they weren't wasted. A buffet may be a better idea, or personalised order. Food in the main restaurant in the evening was exceptional. And the cocktails were also very good.

Cons: The small pool is located through the restaurant and there are tables close around it - so I can't imagine that anyone uses it as a pool, as you would be very self-conscious. The roof top terrace was closed, which was a shame as it would have been nice to have an area just for a drink rather than sitting in the restaurant.

Het hotel is erg authentiek veel oude elementen in het pand echt prachtig. Je waant je zo in 1001 nacht. Onderhoud zou wat beter mogen. Kamers erg klein wel redelijk bed. Bij de receptie waren ze vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. De ligging is fantastisch overal dichtbij. Wij zijn in het restaurant gaan eten op de laatste dag. Hier hebben we mindere herinneringen aan. De bediening is wat stug maar vooral gehaast voelde ons wel uit het restaurant weg gekeken. De prijzen zijn best hoog ook van de dranken als ik 120 euro moet afrekenen wil ik hier wel een leuke avond voor terug en niet binnen 45 min buitenstaan. Mijn man had zijn voorgerecht nog niet op en toen kwam al het hoofdgerecht bord van voorgerecht werd weg getrokken ze wilde nog het restje bij het hoofdgerecht leggen. Vlees van mijn man was ook teveel doorgebakken dit is netjes opgelost.

Arrived at this lovely more traditional small hotel to be greeted by lovely staff, especially Marwa ( the lovely lady on reception)😁.This hotel is ideally placed between the main hub of Marrakech and Le Jardin Majorelle and the more modern shopping precinct (ideal for a quick cool off). It might be an older style hotel but it spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and food in the restaurants was fabulous with relaxed atmosphere and very helpful staff. Taxis and trips can be organised from reception making it such an easy holiday . Can’t fault it in any way. Will be returning soon I hope .

First stop in Morocco.. this hotel was selected as it was ranked high. It is in Guliz area, a suburb created by the French away from the Medina. Walking to Majorekke at ok, Kasbah a bit far. Many shops and eateries nearby. Easy to get taxi. Rooms were comfortable but in a Moroccan style, I disliked the red carpets on the floor, suspecting dirt lurking in it. Bathroom was good, had a bathtub which we never used, and it was set high and with a glass partition so it was difficult to climb in and out of it. Shampoo and soap provided. Breakfast was good, served dish by dish with some variations. Ordered your own style of eggs. Had no hot water 2 out of 6 days that we stayed. Took long time to fix it. Door cresks6 when opening and closing. Reception was OK, thanks to Yusof who was helpful unlike the other young lady Receptionist who seemed to suffer from multi personality traits, most of the time she was angry, sometimes pleasant. She needs to be counselled. Ate at Tarbena, just in front of the hotel.

De hygiëne in het hotel was tiptop, het ontbijt was uitgebreid (geen buffet) waardoor het te veel was. De upgrade die we kregen was fijn omwille van het grote terras dat we daardoor hadden.

Cons: Personeel kon vriendelijker zijn. Kamer was bij aankomst om 15u niet klaar, 30 minuten moeten wachten (zou maar 5 min zijn). Daarenboven had ik een issue met betaling van de navette naar het station waar ik me vergist heb in biljetten (600 dirham ipv 60 dirham), daar ik dit pas later op de ochtend doorhad wordt dit helaas niet erkend door de accommodatie. Dit geeft een negatieve nasmaak aan dit verblijf.

La terrasse du "roof top" au dernier étage n'est accessible qu'en ascenseur. La porte vers l'escalier de secours est verrouillée d'où un gros risque en cas incendie La piscine est toute petite.

Lo que mas me gusto fue la decoracion muy autentica y elegante además de la amabilidad del personal. Me habian asignado la habitación que daba al ascensor y les pedi que me la cambiasen a otra y lo hicieron sin problema. Además necesitaba quedarme en el hotel a gestionar unas cosas en el ordenador antes de salir y también me dejaron gestionarlo tranquilamente. La habitación además tiene doble cortina por lo que queda totalmente aislada y se duerme super bien. Las camas super cómodas!

The placement of the hotel makes it an ideal destination for anybody who wants to experience the different parts of Marrakech. I managed to discover all of the city by foot and its proximity to the train station, jardin majorelle, and gueliz makes it perfect to go to especially during the fall and early spring season. The room was also really relaxing with great space, comfortable beds and a very cozy decor. Finally the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming across all the departments and id recommend this place to anybody.

Il y a plein de restaurant autour de l’hôtel ( y compris dans l’hôtel). Je tenais à remercier Marwa pour sa bienveillance, sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et son sourire. Elle est toujours prête à rendre service. Très agréable. L’hôtel est à 5min en taxi de la place Jemaa El Fna. Il y a souvent plusieurs taxis qui vous attendent en bas de l’hôtel. The hotel and rooms are beautifully appointed. The staff is extraordinarily helpful. The inclusion of a tasty breakfast made for a fast start to the day. Short cab ride to the medina. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops, galleries and the Majorelle Gardens, Berber Arts and YSL Museums.

Cons: The pool is in the dining room - one needs to walk through the dining room in swim attire, and poolside chaises are removed and replaced with tables and chairs mid afternoon to prep for dinner. Sitting poolside to read is not an option.

Se debería mejorar la limpieza de mesas entre clientes. El personal es muy atento y servicial. Hay opción de recogida al aeropuerto, servicio que desaconsejo porque es más caro que un taxi o que un vehículo privado contratado por booking desde España. La ubicación no es demasiado buena, está situado en la zona nueva de la ciudad, donde hay muchas tiendas y un ambiente más cosmopolita. Sin embargo, el centro neurálgico de Marrakesh, donde está el zoco y la parte histórica está a una media hora andando. Aunque el hotel nos ha gustado mucho y hemos estado muy a gusto en él, no volvería a escogerlo por la ubicación algo apartada respecto al centro de la ciudad antigua.

Just returned to the UK following a Monday-Friday visit staying at the hotel Caspien. Hotel is really well situated with plenty of restaurants close by. However, we had such an enjoyable meal on our first night so we ate at the hotel on two other occasions. Staff are very helpful and really can’t do enough for you. Medina is within walking distance however we used taxis as trying to cross the road is a scary business!! I probably won’t visit Marrakesh again as I have done all I wanted to do, camel ride, hot air balloon ride etc, but I would definitely recommend this hotel should any of my friends think about visiting this city. After staying in the Medina, we decided to spend couple of nights in the new district. This hotel seemed to offer nice rooms, in a convenient location at a good price and so it was. The staff there is amazing: when we first arrived the guy at the reception was very welcoming and he also offered us an upgrade and let us stay in the Suite even though we had booked a normal room and this was obviously very much appreciated. The next day we met Marwa (hope this is how you write it) and she is just the kindest girl, caring and smiley. She booked us a taxy to the airport, printed us our flight tickets because in Marocco is still recommended to have them physically and made sure that the kitchen would prepare a take away breakfast for us as we had to leave the hotel prior to when they officially start serving breakfast which was just the bee's knees. The hotel was nice, clean with a nice terrace and restaurant but the staff is what made the difference for us. Thank you!

Cons: Location was good but if your a tourist I would recommend staying in the medina because its more fun! Pool felt too overlooked by the restaurant to feel comfortable lounging around unless your a supermodel.

Cons: Roof top stank of bad drains … lift kept breaking down with people in it … could access the pool as a rusty heater by the pool steps …also on arrive was asked for the city tax which I owed after a long journey even before being given a key to my room …. Receptionist was asking for 52euro rather than only 52 DH !! So watch out for that … I had to show him in writing what I actually owed and had to then ask for a receipt as he first asked me to prove that in written which I could 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ patio doors in your room don’t lock and many false promises to fix it … unfortunately I had booked with them for four night 😢 didn’t move as with my hubby who is disabled… Breaking was a joke of stale sweet pastier and stale coffee from a flask not even hot … fruit juice wasn’t even fresh …. thank god for the little local cafes

Cons: Stale pasties everyday with horrid coffee that was made hours ago in the flask so not hot or fresh .. food served on a tray no choice given …lift kept breaking down with people in it…. Couldn’t have access to pool as rusty heater in the way… roof top stank of bad drains yet they set a make shift restart on it and food was brought up from god knows where in a lift .. bad electrics in rooms needs to be brought up to date or simply closed .. can’t believe it’s on your sight … dirty carpet mats down everywhere

Location is just perfect. Room quite small but still was has it all necessary for week long stay with nice small balcony to use for rest time. Breakfast as continental not the widest choices but staff was super helpful in providing extras, like omelette and more coffees. Definitely will stay here when next time visiting Marrakesh.

Hôtel traditionnel très propre et bien équipé. Nous avons été accueilli de la meilleure des manières par Yassine. Les chambres étaient propre et confortable. Nous avons même eu droit à un petit déjeuné à emporté car nous partions tôt le matin. Je recommande !

Very well appointed clean hotel. Rooms are spacious and we even got upgraded. Breakfast is full with eggs and was freshly prepared. Staff helpful at checkin and also got us a taxi to get to the airport. Location is handy to the train bus and airport.

Great staff especially Marwa and the lads in the Taverna restaurant. Good location as walking distance to the Medina and near small shopping mall with supermarket.Room is clean but bathroom needs refurbishing and pillows are horrible. We had the room with little balcony and it was lovely to sit there. I read from other reviews that it could be noisy at night and I think that could be an issue especially if the hotel is busier. We were at the room facing the pool and I could hear the people talking and the music because the pool has the outside restaurant. It wasn’t bad when we were there. Breakfast is the same everyday but we don’t mind that. Hot drinks, selection of bread and pastries, Oj, choice of eggs - that’s all we need.

Goede ligging in Gueliz, weg van de ergste drukte en lawaai . Schoon, de poetsdamesteam was constant aan het werk, alleen ze verliesde het gevecht tegen kalkafzetting op de kranen (maar blijkbaar is dit een probleem in heel Marokko). Schoon en comfortabel bedden. Aardige receptie. Ik had constant problemen met de keykaart, maar het werd goed opgelost. Top restaurant! Zeker aan te raden.

Cons: Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd op een dienblad, met als resultaat dat je vanalles krijgt dat je niet eet en eten dat je zou willen niet krijgt. Ze kunnen beter overschakelen op een buffet.

Cons: The breakfast.. An airline style tray of pre selected items that I didnt chose put in front of me. Pastries were stale. No menu/ choice. Pre mixed weak milky coffee , watery orange juice . No visible staff ( although plenty laughter and merriment from the kitchen area) I only went once choosing a great bakery down the road with fresh pastries and great coffee. - some areas of hotel dated decor

Lovely staff, upgraded us for a higher room, which had bigger balcony with pool view so a bit quieter too (esp at night). It has a few restaurants, we liked the Tapas but didn't yet try the french one, which is supposed to be great, so will do that next time. The continental breakfast was ok but gets boring after a few days. Location is ok, Near to shops, bars & restaurants in a small but quite busy street in the new town, which is 30 min walk from old town (Medina).

Cons: It's good for the price but could just do with a facelift!

THe breakfast was good but a variety can be planned as it was the same breakfast for all 4 days that I stayed. Also, I already suggested to the staff there (Imen, who was really a great host) that they dont have to fill everyone's plate with all the breads (Croissant, danish and bread) as I noticed a lot of people wasted their bread which is a lot of food waste.

Cons: The balcony doors did not close completely in both the 2 rooms that I stayed. It gets very noisy especially as you can hear people shouting even while you are in the 5th floor.
