Everything! The service was very polite and responded to all our questions. Rooms are beautifully decorated with attention to details. Spacious bathroom and very comfy bed made our sleep flawless. Rooms are well located and we couldn’t hear any neighbours. Breakfast was protein/ carb based and served its purpose. We loved quite pool side and library. Strongly encourage to use SPAand Hammam to unwind after or before long flight.

Cons: That we had to leave!

Great place to stay in a good location not to close to the main parts of Marrakech but mostly walkable, the staff here are so friendly and nice and are always on hand with help and information. Rooms are big and clean there’s a television with a couple of English news channels for those interested, breakfast is very basic but the food available to purchase at other times of the day is really good and they sell alcohol here. Stay here rather than a hotel that you probably stay in every other time you go away, you won’t regret it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem with Warm Hospitality in the Heart of the Medina This riad was a wonderful surprise—very unassuming from the outside, but once inside, it’s beautifully decorated and full of charm. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I was welcomed with traditional Moroccan mint tea and treated to a hammam right after arrival, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of travel. They also sat down with me and charted out my entire next day on a map, offering great tips for exploring the Medina. The room was cozy, air-conditioned, and peaceful—with strong Wi-Fi and everything I needed. I slept soundly that night. They also have a delicious menu of drinks and food available on-site, which made relaxing at the riad even more enjoyable. The courtyard is stunning, and everything felt very safe, clean, and inviting. A perfect first night in Morocco!

Tom and Nora were perfect hosts at their riad. They always had a smile and stopped to talk to everyone. The staff was incredible. This was a 5 star experience. Everyone from the front desk people to the chefs were professional and always had a smile. They go above and beyond to ensure their guests are happy. They booked all my excursions. I will always have fond memories of this establishment.

Cons: This was a perfect experience

My wife and I have recently returned from a 1 week holiday in Marrakech staying the Les Borjs. The riad is owned by Tom and Nora, who have spent a considerable time getting the riad to the very high standard that it is. We were greeted at the desk and taken through to the court yard where we had our first mint tea and Moroccan pastries/biscuits. What a greeting! Our cases were taken up to our room whilst we were having our tea. This is just the beginning which just goes to show you how good the hospitality is. The rest of our stay was just fantastic. Les Borjs was our oasis of calm from the frenetic and chaotic pace of the Medina. Tom and Nora, and all of the staff - from the cleaners to the front of house, were just so hospitable and provided us with some much information during our first stay in Marrakech. We would definitely recommend this riad sooo highly and if we were to visit Marrakech again we would have no hesitation in staying, provided Tom and Nora would have us back. Shukran

Very welcoming, lovely proprietors .. location is a short walk to the souk so ideal if you want to be able to get everywhere on foot. Very clean and decent sized rooms. Reminded me of a well run b&b

Cons: Having stayed at a few hotels during this trip with direct reference in terms of cost vs size / service and location, we felt this was a tad overpriced. Check-in wasn’t smooth, and our room had a persistent odour. The rose petals sprinkled everywhere including on the toilet lid just meant I had to collect them from every surface and sleep wasn’t the best as the sheets and beds in general weren’t the most comfortable plus it was quite noisy and sound really carried. I was startled awake a number of times.

The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, they helped us organize our stay, provided maps and recommendations about things to do and booked some spa treatments for us in at the hotel spa (highly recommend to go for Hamman & massages!). The location was very good, inside the Medina, walkable distance to the main attractions and places of interest, but the surroundings were calm and quite during the night.

I liked the fact women were in the front desk and general manager. I liked that there was a tip box in the entrance and we were encouraged to tip there as to make sure everyone (including those we didn't see or interact with were tipped). I enjoyed the cooking class I took and the kindness and patience of Chef Youssef and Nadia while I was taking my cooking class. The class was the highlight of my trip to Morrocco. Overall a very pleasant stay except for location ....details below.

Cons: I liked a lot of the hotel services but was a bit disappointed on the location. it's a bit far and in not so good neighborhood. I realize it is NOT the fault of the hotel but an undesirable man approached us at the entrance and tried to scam us for money for directions. He was rather persistent and not a good experience. We had stayed at another Riad for 3 prior nights in a better neighborhood so we were able to tell the difference.

The place itself is very beautiful and breath taking. The staff will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and all your needs are met. We had a 8 month baby with us and the staff were soo accomodative. The guy who helped us with the checking in process, helped us with an adaptor since we had forgotten ours at a previous riad and the lady who served us our dinner were very kind and polite.(Apologies i forgot your names😊).

Cons: Nothing much, just some mosquitoes at night but we survived.

I stayed here my last 2 days in Marrakesh after my family departed. I decided to have a few solo days and this was the most perfect Riad for this. It was tucked away from the busy sucks but close enough to walk. I felt safe being there as well as walking the streets around. I would absolutely recommend Les Borjs de Kasbah if you are looking for a riad in Marrakesh. The food and service was great. The director, Tom, was kind and made sure to introduce himself. I have no complaints about my stay except that it was too short. There is also direct access to the front which made for easy transportation arrangements. I would absolutely visit again.

This is such a great place to stay. Comfortable, clean, well equipped rooms. Fabulous friendly and caring staff who are always around to help if needed. The owners are on site regularly and always take time to chat to each guest. Beautiful facilities such as the lovely pool area and the courtyard for drinks and meals. Good breakfast each day and we enjoyed a few good lunches and evening meals too. Great spa treatment too! Quiet location at the edge of the Kasbah near to 2 gates so easy for transport pick up / drop offs. Easy 15 minutes’ walk to Saadian Tombs, Baihia Palace, Tinsmiths Square and lots of cafes/restaurants. We had such a good time here, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you to everyone at BK.

It’s in the centre of Kasbah, only ten minutes from the airport, but it is so peaceful when you enter the Riad. The staff were so lovely and friendly and could not do enough to make our stay extra special. Our room was very comfortable with a luxurious four poster bed and lots of Moroccan character but also had up to date amenities such as air conditioning and a good shower. The pool was a great area to relax and cool down and they operate a full waiter service for food and drinks. There’s also an excellent spa which we made full use of!

This riad is beautiful. The owners and staff are lovely, extremely friendly and helpful without being overbearing in any way. Rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and so clean. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and all delicious. I really appreciated the peacefulness and the sunny pool area was wonderful. I felt very safe as a lone female traveller. I booked a single room and it was spacious and well equipped, it didn’t feel like a tiny room. I walked all around the city and found this to be a great base, it’s also very convenient for the airport, it’s in the old walled city but on the side nearer to the airport, it can be reached by taxis which can stop outside. A great stay.

What an amazing place! This is a family run business and you can really tell from the attention to detail. Many of the employees have worked there a long time. Tom and Nora know how to ensure guest have a great experience. They personally introduce themselves and ensure you get a tour around, explaining where everything is. The mint tea on arrival was a welcome addition. I've never visited a hotel before that offers such a personalised service. What we liked: Getting to know about the restoration/build of the hotel and all of the craftsmanship that went into it (no power tools used - everything was done by hand!!!) Found my sweet spot with this place. It is on the edge of the city centre which meant it was very quiet both day and night and only the sounds of nature can be heard. It was walking distance to the main square. It’s also perfect for warmer conditions as there were amble outdoor spaces with lots of shaded areas. I think one will be cold in cooler weather conditions. I stayed in several Riads in Morocco during this trip and this was the only place that actually offered healthy choices and plenty of variety for breakfast. Whilst the swimming pool wasn’t large it looked a lot bigger than other Riads in city centre. I appreciated the traditional artistry of the building….stunning……and the most friendly service I received compared to any other Riad I stayed so far.

Cons: One side of Kasbah location is very rough and underdeveloped. I had to hold my nerve…,… once inside the property it’s a completely different vibe……I got used to the area very quickly

The staff provided amazing service and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were friendly, attentive and gave us information about the local area. The front desk staff also helped us, especially with a local taxi driver who overcharged us for our journey from the airport. Nadia helped me organise a surprise anniversary dinner for my fiancee. She did a brilliant job of creating a romantic private setting for us to enjoy a wonderful dinner.

Les Borjs de la Kasbah is outstanding in every way. The riad is tastefully decorated and there is beauty around every corner. The staff are truly exceptional. The restaurant is top-notch, offering some of the best food in Morocco - with a wonderful breakfast every morning. And the location can’t be beat.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. It is located in a less crazy and busy area of Marrakech, close to the airport, but with shops and amenities readily available. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and so very helpful. The accomodations were beautiful, well-appointed, clean, and with so many little "extras" to enhance our experience and comfort. This made our stay most enjoyable and relaxing. We have found a magical oasis of comfort and beauty in Les Borgs de la Kasbah of Marrakech. The experience here has, most certainly, gven us a reason to stay in Marrakech upon our return to Morocco.

Overall a pleasant experience with 24/7 reception service which is important for a city that doesn't sleep. Most restaurants do not open until noon and flights can still be coming in into the early AMs due to delays. My comment is more about the room description on booking.com. For all types of rooms it says includes balcony, patio, and terrace. Since I was a single traveler when booking.com asked how many people will be staying, I put one, but didn't know I would be receiving a single room with no balcony or patio. The bed was kid size and room very small, so I didn't feel I got the full experience of the riad. If I knew that was the case, I would've selected 2ppl and had an actual full size room. Thereby, loved the facility, but room was below expectation due to mis-info in marketing.

The atmosphere is great, and the staff is very attentive and nice. Breakfast is really good and all based in natural ingredients. We had a perfect massage at their SPA. We stayed at the suite and the views over the swimming pool, the light of the room, etc, made our stay even more memorable. A place to live the Marrakesh experience fully...

Cons: They made a mistake in the bill, adding a dinner that we didn't make, all good at the end, but they should ask for the signature of the ticket, like all hotels do, to avoid these misunderstandings, also the waiter coming to us saying that she served us dinner was totally off as we really didn't, so probably she confused us with another couple. This should not happen in a place like this leaves a bit of a bitter taste in a wonderful overall experience.

We loved staying here. The only thing was the air conditioning in our first room was not working properly- it was our fault for not saying something about. It wasn’t a big deal - we still were comfortable and would stay again!

The property is very well maintained, it was a new experience for me staying in a riad but I felt completely comfortable here. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room had good AC, there was a TV with movies in English for entertainment. The staff is very attentive, warm and friendly. I felt safe here and although on a busy street inside it is very quite. The spa was an amazing experience, very relaxing. My first time with Hamman and I would recommend it. The pool is a good size with toilet facilities, shower and service. The owner Tom and his Wife Nora are very welcoming and seek feed back to inprove on an already excellent service. My most pleasurable experience here was the food from the restaurant. The food did not disappoint one bit. I did the half board which I highly recommend. The food was delicious, every night was a nice surprise of flavors. In all I would highly refer this place to anyone visiting the area. For myself it was a very quiet place that I could relax and feel safe.

This hotel inside the old city has a wonderful staff! The rooms are spacious and centered around a lovely courtyard. The bathrooms were also spacious although my 6'1" son had to stoop in the walk in shower. The bathrooms were missing wash cloths and conditioner but I think those are American expectations. I would also recommend slippers as the floors are lovely tiles. The spa is lovely and there is a pool to cool off after a hot day exploring. The staff is what makes this hotel wonderful! This was my first stay in Marrakech Medina. I was a little hesitant at first but this was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this Riad. The staff was extremely welcoming and even arranged to make sure we got dinner since we arrived just about closing time for the kitchen. We were greeted with tea, he explained how the room heater, the TV etc worked when he brought us to the room. The food was good. The room clean. Staff extremely friendly. If you have never been to the Medina in Marrakech, please know that it is a maze and is a maze to get to the hotel. The taxis can’t drive into it. You will need to walk from the taxi drop off which can be confusing. We had a guide take us, but just be aware ahead of time.

We were fortunate enough to have had six nights in this Riad. Having read the reviews prior to staying, all I can say is that they were not overstated. If anything they were understated! The fabric of the property is exemplary. The attention to detail evident at every level and faultless. In life nothing is perfect and neither is this Riad, but what is clear is that they go the extra mile to make you part of a wider family experience. There is one remarkable and outstanding feature of this Riad. The staff. We spent time tasing to them and its clear that the investment in the staff is well placed. They are polite, courteous, super friendly, clearly content with their lot and that radiates across to the guests in every aspect of their work. Its a family owned and managed operation and they do this with passion and ownership. Their staff are like family and are treated as such. The petals on the bed, the undivided attention to any request, but above all the smiles! It is rare, so very rare that I write with such abundant praise, but it is well deserved, so very well earned. We may never get in this Riad again due to it's popularity but that's life. Thank you and well done. You made our stay comfortable and luxurious. Near faultless.

Excellent riad within the Medina, but on one of the quieter roads meaning it's quite possible to escape the 'craziness' of the streets. This riad is larger than most (being made up of around 6 buildings knocked together) and as such has more of a hotel vibe (numerous lounge areas, bar, pool etc.) Service is generally good and pricing is reasonable by Western standards (although certainly higher than local Marrakesh pricing). I found WiFi connectivity was sketchy but apart from that would definitely recommend for a few days stay in the city.

I switched my reservation to this Riad due to proximity to the souks and also due to its high rating from customers. It's really quiet inside that you will hear the lively chirping of birds in the morning. The staff were very prompt with responding to my emails. The breakfast is first rate. Room large with aircon and heater which was much appreciated in March. Only 15min from the airport and taxi arranged by the hotel. A lovely hotel with great facilities. The music/food/dance evening was very entertaining. All looks modern and fresh with great attention to detail. The only minor suggestion to the owners... for room 107 is better sound insulation for the window overlooking the lobby.

Rebuilt and presented in traditional style this hotel still provides the modern conveniences you would expect. Public areas like the central courtyard, bar and restaurant are both welcoming and relaxing. Very quiet and calm, a respite from the busy and noisy streets of the Medina and Kasbah. We only spent one night, but it was a lovely experience, from being welcomed with mint tea and cookies to a fabulous breakfast the next morning before we left (we both thought it was the best meal of the trip!) Our room was very comfortable (a nice touch: flower petals on the pillows and around the sink/tub) and conveniently located on the ground floor just off a small courtyard with lots of greenery. The public areas were nicely done, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was in the Kasbah, within the Medina (old walled city) but was very conveniently located.

Nice hotel with very pleasant staff, lovely breakfasts with good selection to chose from. room was very comfortable with a small but adequate swimming pool in a enclosed private area . A good 15 min walk to the hustle and bustle of the main square along a narrow road that has a lot of motorbikes, horse & carts, taxi's an pedestrians all mixed in together! We stayed for two weeks but I think a week to 10 days would have been better. Food around the hotel was limited and the hotel evening meals while O.K were not the best and very expensive compared with other restaurants in the area.

We stayed here for a week in February and were delighted with the standard of the hotel and the lovely helpful staff The hotel is situated in the Kasbah and is an oasis of peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. It is a leisurely 15 minute walk to the main square. The swimming pool are is great and we had a wonderful hammam and massage. The staff went above and beyond when we had a bad experience at a restaurant one evening and we arrived back at the hotel at 10.45 having not eaten!! They provided 6 of us with a cheese platter with bread olives etc although the staff had their coats on ready to go home! All in all a lovely hotel and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

"Smash hit" was the easy listening classical music at breakfast! As if you have breakfast with THE queen in London!!! In addition, the "Heathrow Airport" approach to safety and security of the Riad was equally impressive (for lack of a better word :-) Well, so... that tells it all. While the place is a great place to be in all other respects, it lacks the more local, Moroccan authenticity that we experienced at other riads in Rabat and Fes. One more thing... there is no hot water at all times. BON JOUR!

This hotel was built around refurbished original Moroccan houses, to create a Riad - internal courtyards including a heated pool area, with cosy well designed morrocan style rooms off. The atmosphere was sumptuous and exotic. The staff were amazing. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is small and architecturally very interesting, with rooms around a series of courtyards and galleries. Dining is in a large central courtyard with a fountain, orange trees and bright with bougainvillaea. A smaller courtyard, usually used for breakfast, can be used if it rains as this has a sliding transparent roof. Our room was spacious, comfortable and light, with windows on two sides. The pool is small but well equipped, set in a very attractive courtyard with bougainvillea, jasmine and palms. My wife and I stayed for 10 days and during that time we experienced nothing but excellent service and consideration.

Walking into the riad was like walking in to a tardis. It expanded and was progressively more wonderful each step of the way. Great Moroccan decor, fabulous court yard with chairs and tables to wine and dine with lovely little sitting areas with seating and cushions, 'chill' was shouting out. The staff (although I would like to call them our hosts) all spoke some English and French and were very accommodating, answering questions on the locality - where to go and where to eat. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't tend to believe all the reviews - but as someone that has been doing marrakech for 10 years now and work there off and on, I can confidently say that I will be back. I like being near the medina but I don't like being right bang in the medina with all the small roads leading to riads - this really ticks all the boxes. Don't even have to walk, the car can stop right outside. I like villas and apartments but find the Palmeraie a bit isolated when I like the flexibility of just walking out the hotel/villa. Also apartments and other hotels in gueliz are fine if you like to walk. In short this is my new base in Marrakech

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Hands down! I cannot speak highly enough about the staff. They were exceptional and examples of what everyone in the hospitality industry should aspire to. I got sick during my trip and they treated me like a member of their own family. Their care was such a comfort and you can tell that they are sincere in their desire to accommodate you so that you have the best stay. Over our weeklong stay we tried a selection of items from the menu and everything we tried was delicious. My favorite spot in the hotel was by the pool. Pictures cannot capture how beautiful it is. The pool was the perfect temperature and the courtyard was sunny and beautiful with its flowering vines. The room was spacious, well appointed, and nicely decorated with traditional style that was also comfortable. Well lit with separate tub and shower, ample storage, and a comfortable bed. My room overlooked the courtyard with windows that opened so you could hear the birds chirping from their nests in the flowering vines. If you wanted to get out of your room, there were plenty of seating areas in the public areas that you could tuck into. There was good attention to detail: the mint tea and Moroccan cookies we were greeted with, the flower petals placed daily on our bed, the complimentary bar snacks during happy hour, the music selections during dinner, and even the towels at the pool were super soft. You can tell the owner and staff make the extra effort.

There are few things that you need to consider before booking a room in this hotel. First, it is a bit difficult to arrive, specially if you are planning to drive to it. The hotel is located inside the medina, and unless you know your way, you won´t be able to arrive without asking for the help of a local. The staff is really nice and the room was comfortable. We just had to keep the doors of the bedroom closed, and it was isolated from the noise of the street. The staff uses a air freshener which is quite strong. My girlfriend had to ask the receptionist to keep the windows open because she was getting a headache. The breakfast is simple but good. The dinner was delicuous. However, in our last night, there was a party and we were not informed. It was quite noisy and uncomfortable, we couldn´t have a pleasant dinner because of the loudy guests, and they stayed partying until past 11 pm. It would have been nice if the hotel manager had informed us of the noisy event. It would have made it a better experience. Overall, it is a good place to stay and not far from the main sightseeings. However, I don´t believe that we would make another book in the same place if we ever return to Marrakesh.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at the Les Borjs for 4 nights. We were in suite 107, quiet, spacious and romantic. Located close to the souks (15-20min walk) Les Borjs is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle, yet accessible from all major tourist spots on foot or short cab ride. Full service restaurant, bar and spa meant you really didn't have to venture out if didn't want to. And most importantly, the people... The staff are unbelievably polite and accommodating, nothing, and I mean nothing(!), was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking for a charming, relaxed, comfortable stay in Marrakech!

Loved our stay and upset we couldn't stay longer! Everything was perfect. The staff are all amazing, above and beyond service with a smile. The grounds are so beautiful and relaxing, a nice place to unwind after a hectic day in the medina. We ate at the restaraunt a couple of times during our 1 night stay. Delicious food and so well priced. Also has a great wine list. Tom the owner is an absolute legend!!
