Everything was great. The location was really good in Oarzazate, the room was clean, and quiet. You can use the pool anytime of the day. They have european breakfast. And the staff is really nice too.

Cons: The shower was a little weird since the water comes out of it to the floor very easily. My door room and almost all of them have a problem with the card's to open it. It was a little annoying to open the door, some eletric problem was going on.

La posizione è eccellente, a piedi si arriva alla kasbah Taourit e al centro (consiglio una passeggiata serale in centro, carinissimo e animato da gente stupenda)! It is a typical Ibis hotel, lives up to the standard. We chose it mainly because of the price which was really good and the pool. We were pleasantly surprised about the pool as it was nice and it was open at all times so we could use it in the evening as well. The rooms look like the pictures and it is nice that they also have for example hair dryer in the room as you dont have to ask to get it but its just there.

Cons: There was no plug to charge phones close to the bed which was annoying but thats really the only bad thing.

Super séjour ! La chambre, et surtout le lit avec son sur-matelas, était très confortable. La piscine est propre et agréable, avec un maître-nageur, ce qui est vraiment rassurant. Le personnel est adorable et à l’écoute. Un grand merci à la personne qui s’occupe du ménage au 2ème étage, un travail fait avec beaucoup de soin. Dix jours comme à la maison, merci beaucoup !

Cons: Ce que j’ai moins apprécié, c’est le petit déjeuner. Le choix n’est pas assez diversifié, surtout quand on y reste dix jours, c’est dommage de retrouver chaque matin la même chose. Les viennoiseries sont souvent trop cuites, trop sèches, voire pas assez, et certaines petites pâtisseries comme les madeleines étaient immangeables, trop cuites. De plus, le personnel du petit déjeuner m’a paru un peu moins accueillant que le reste de l’équipe d’accueil et les agents d’entretien, qui sont adorables. Enfin, pour les repas du midi et du soir, beaucoup de plats annoncés à la carte manquent souvent, ce qui réduit considérablement le choix réel.

We enjoyed the pool during our stay. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. Reception staff were always friendly and greeted us warmly each time we came in. The bathroom was clean and well stocked, with towels replaced regularly. The location was excellent—very close to the town centre and the Kasbah.

Cons: While I understand the challenges of a hot climate, the dining area had a noticeable number of flies, which at times made it difficult to fully enjoy our meals. Additionally, the meals felt overpriced, especially considering the hotel's more basic standards and the general cleanliness, which left something to be desired near floor level. Beds were too firm but this seems to be common throughout the country. Some staff appeared to lack engagement in terms of customer service. We never knew where we could get pool towels from. One restaurant staff member in particular stood out—perhaps due to inexperience or a lack of proper training—as he was slow to seat us, delayed in bringing menus, and on a few occasions did not follow through on our requests. This ultimately discouraged us from dining further at the hotel restaurant or ordering food by the pool, even though we observed other local guests doing so.

Attention à ceux qui réserve l’été, l’air climatisé n’est pas assez puissante pour refroidir la chambre. Il fait aussi chaud dans la chambre qu’à l’extérieur. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas bon et que dire du restaurant pour souper. Je vous recommande de manger à l’extérieur

My friend & l stayed at Ibis central for 4 nights. We were allocated 308, the keys did not work so reallocated 323 very quickly. The room was small but we didn’t mind for only a 4 day break. There was hanging space only, no drawers. We kept smaller clothes in our cases. The air con was a life saver as it was July & 40 degree heat plus. Bathroom was a little dated & the shower caused a mini flood when used. Towels were changed daily. Soft white bath towels. Our reservation stated ‘free breakfast’ however the booking company did not mention this on the hotel copy, so every morning we were asked to pay, resulting in the same conversation daily! I showed my copy of the reservation. Breakfast was continental, no hard cheese slices but plenty of other choices, scrambled egg, boiled egg, Danish pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast, jams, juices, warm Moroccan pancakes & pastries, fried potatoes & herbed sliced tomatoes. Dates & olives. A varied selection. The hotel also offered a selection of food from the Ibis kitchen. We liked chicken sandwiches (panini). Sadly fries were cold the second time. I heard several complaints regarding food from others, which put us off eating dinner at Ibis. We spent the warmest part of the day in the pool. The pool was pretty clean, the tiles around the pool became very hot & were very slippery when wet. The area around the pool was cleaned daily. Many day guests paid to use the pool, it occasionally became very busy. Basic but nice hotel.

OK hotel like other Ibis but with moroccan flair. The rooms are standard but have a mall fridge. I got a room with a balcony, nice. A/C works well, bed sleeps good, no outlet near the bed but close by. Small desk and chair. Warm shower with soaps. Pool is nice, pool staff is friendly. Wifi works ok on the 2nd floor. Not great. Breakfast was ok but many items are not refilled as often as I would like. Walking distance to the center with many good restaurants.

Hotel was excellently located and was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful pool. We had a nice breakfast and lunch at the hotel. Mohammed (one of the waiters) was absolutely fantastic and definitely deserves a special mention for his hard work professionalism.

Cons: The only minor criticism is that staff for the bar for cool drinks were few and far between - sometimes we had to walk the hotel to find somebody on bar service during the day. During the evening it was absolutely fine.

Brahim on reception along with the car park security guard provided excellent service and should be regarded as an example to some other staff at this hotel on how to properly represent the brand and provide a great customer experience

Cons: The chap running the restaurant was very busy trying, unsuccessfully, to service all the guests using the restaurant. Maybe he should have stopped the four other staff from watching the football on the TV and then he would not have been so busy and customers would not have to keep getting up to find out why it took so long to order coffee/get the bill etc. The food was good though. The next day, the cleaning chap turned up 30 minutes after breakfast started, annoyed early morning guests and flushed all the dirt and food that was on the floor straight into the pool. Maybe a clean at the end of the night would have been appropriate and I have no words for the action of flushing the rubbish straight into the pool

Cons: Zelo slabo vzdrževane sobe, slabe vzmetnice in vzglavniki. Postelja je bila tako majava in škripajoča, da se nisi mogel niti obrniti, ker sva se bala, da se bo postelja zrušila na tla. V sobi je delovala le ena vtičnica. V Maroku smo vedeli, da od nastanitev ne moremo veliko pričakovati, vendar smo pričakovali, da bo Ibis ponudil kakovostnejše storitve. Zajtrk je bil podpovprečen. I had a great stay in the ibis Ouarzazate hotel. Nice staff, if you had a question they were there to help you. I rented a car, but also without a car you can move by taxi. Next to the hotel was 24/7 police, it felt really safe. Good breakfast and I enjoyed the big swimming pool. If I’m back in Ouarzazate I will be back

La propreté de la chambre

Cons: Le réceptionniste me fait parcourir des km pour aller faire du change, impossible de s’installer et prendre une douche avant alors que la réservation avec cb = paiement garantis. À mon retour les clients suivants ont pu s’installer et payer plus tard. Deux poids deux mesures. Ils ont pensés comme je suis franco-marocains ça passe crème. Les serveurs font semblant de pas te voir car flemme de servir. Pour trouver parasol etc il faut se débrouiller seul. Le matelas pas confortable mal au dos. Aucun niveau de service. Les femmes de ménages sont top. Tous les autres employés pas au niveau pour bosser pour accor. Mieux vaut privilégier un bon hotel local

Central location close to Kasba Tourirt. Room size was pretty decent; didn't feel cramped. The breakfast spread in the restaurant was pretty good and tasty too.

Cons: I would have preferred an tea/coffee kettle to heat water or make tea/coffee when I felt like. Also a mini bar to stock water or other perishables would have been nice. I don't know if Ibis provides these only in some rooms or none. Also the water pressure in the bathroom shower was lower than I expected and in the morning, I could get only lukewarm water ( as compared to hot the previous night) despite running the water for a few minutes. I also wished the reception staff smiled more; maybe it was that particular day but I found them to be rather tense or preoccupied-the doorman was chirpier.

Hotel was as expected. I ordered a taxi in the reception. I got a price before I entered the car. At the airport the price was 50% higher. Main problem was that the drive refused to give me any kind of receipt and as it was a business trip this gives me extra problems to hand in my experience report.

Cons: Beds were hard, bar prices - extortionate not just for alcohol - a bottle of water 30 dirham which is about £2.43 for a 1.5 ltr bottle that you can buy in the shop for for about 50p, no kettle , breakfast was poor. Place needs updated. Dogs barked in the middle of the night every night.

Very polite and proactive hotel porter. Water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good. Mattress was comfy, sheets were clean. Staff at front desk were helpful when we asked for an iron and scissors.

Cons: No bottled water provided for guests (kind of a drag coming on a late-night flight, they charge MAD 30 for a big bottle). Shower and bathroom floor leave a lot to be desired. Dated interior design overall.

Camera assegnata n° 134. Appena entrati mancava l'aria per il forte di fumo di sigaretta, probabilmente intriso in tutto. Riscontrato scarico del bagno rotto e chiusura della porta che dava sul terrazzo, anch'essa rotta, non chiudibile. Tornati in reception e segnalati i problemi con richiesta di cambio camera che ci dicevano non possibile. Ci mandavano subito l'operario che smontava e sistemava lo scarico del bagno. Lo stesso confermava che la serratura della porta non era riparabile e abbiamo dormito 4 notti con la porta, virtualmente aperta. L'arredamento scarno e datato, c'era una sedia in camera che probabilmente risaliva all'apertura dell'hotel. La colazione delle prime 2 mattine è stata decisamente scadente, con i prodotti mancanti e che non venivano reintegrati, oltretutto dovevamo pulirci anche il tavolo prima di sederci. La terza mattina colazione perfetta in tutto, pulizia compresa. Soggiorno decisamente deludente, sotto la media di quanto pagato e probabilmente non riprenoterò la catena IBIS. Avevamo soggiornato anche 1 notte all'IBIS di Marrakech e anche questo era sotto la media del prezzo e delle stelle.
