Cons: La chambre au dessus de la reception ne permet d'etre au calme en debut de soirée, aisni que coté rue, le bruit s'entendant assez distinctement. The resort building was very beautiful, the location was excellent, the staff were polite, and the breakfast was good.
Cons: Unfortunately, the internet in our room did not work. After one person took a shower, the water turned cold, and the second person had to wait for it to heat up again. Also, there was no Do Not Disturb card for the door in the room.

Prachtige authentieke riad. Verschil in klasse kamers is groot. basis kamers zijn echt klein en donker. Luxere kamers zijn prachtig en passend bij de accommodatie. Fijne plunge pool op het dakterras. Heerlijke pluk om bij te komen van alle indrukken van de stad. Warm ontvangst, behulpzaam personeel, uitgebreid vers ontbijt, ideale locatie om lopend de stad te verkennen, taxi stopt net iets buiten de Medina van hieruit kan je uitstapjes maken in de omgeving. Uitstapjes via receptie geregeld. Erg goed georganiseerd allemaal. Contact via WhatsApp snelle en duidelijke communicatie.
Cons: De entree was niet duidelijk aangegeven en in aanbouw. De oude bogen naar de patio zijn laag met scherpe punten, mijn man heeft er blijvende littekens aan over gehouden. De geregelde taxiritten vanuit het hotel moesten aan het einde van verblijf cash afgerekend worden, dit kan niet met een creditcard of bankpas. Onze koffers hebben dag van vertrek in de ontvangsthal gestaan. Tassen waren nat geworden van de fontijn.

I almost never do bad reviews since I do prefer advising on the good ones. However, in this occassion I did felt massively disappointed. Probably the only thing I liked about the hotel was the location and the pool.
Cons: It would be a long list but trying to resume it: In my opinion, the photos dont match the actual status of the propperty. Unfortunately everything is extremely old and the whole place needs renovations. Another disappointment was, that by check-in, they gave us a room that wasnt meant to be, one that was dark with no windows. After complainning they did gave us a room that matched the photos of what we booked. Still disappointing conditions but at least matching. Its difficult to understand why would they give the customers worst rooms instead of the better ones by check-in. Adding up, we tried to contact them in advance to check the parking and other situations and we never got an answer. In general the service is poor, the hotel poor, the beakfast is poor and for the price, there are so many other better options. We travelled around Morocco for 2 weeks and I can say this hotel was the only one we didnt like.

Hemos estado cuatro amigas pasando unos dias en el Riad y nos ha encantado el sitio, es una maravilla. A sido una estancia maravillosa, resaltariamos la ubicación que es excelente (5 minutos andando del Riad a la plaza Jemaa el fna), el personal muy amable y las piscinas que tiene. El último día que teniamos que dejar el Riad para el mediodia, nos dejaron guardar las maletas en un cuarto hasta salir hacia el aeropuerto. Muy recomendable. Volveriamos a repetir!

The location was superb - a 10 minute walk from Jemma-el-fnaa down some back roads which took you away from the bustle of the streets. . The Riad itself, Moroccan style throughout, was charming and if the weather had been warmer it would have been nice to sit out on the terrace or use the swimming pools. The staff were efficient and polite. There was a good choice for breakfast and we had one evening meal which was enjoyable. The courtyard was lovely and would have been nice to eat and relax in but, again, the weather defeated us.

The riad hands down is beautiful! I would reccommend it. It’s lovely at night and in the morning. Mohammed is the best! He settled us in all by himself.
Cons: Expecting the room in the photo & description and not getting it, then getting it at the last 2 days. So the transfer was soo stressful because we have a schedule and they were moving on their schedule. I got sick with the stress! The confusion they created amongst themselves and with me just stressed me out! Youssef tried his best to fix things but the other front office staff just wasn’t very accommodating. All I wanted was what was shown me and so I expect what I paid for. That’s not a favor… that’s my right. Photos mean a lot to a Traveller so there should no confusion. I think fixing website room photos would do you good.

This place was a hidden gem. I was really considering staying at a smaller Riad and I'm so glad I chose Palais Sebban. First, it's stunning! Everywhere you turn the room is filled with gorgeous tiles, carvings, lamps, decor from decades/centuries past. I want to come back in the warmer months when I can enjoy the pools and roof decks/bars. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was better than I could have expected. The location is just inside the medina walls, so it's easy to get from transport to the hotel and from the hotel to areas outside the medina. We couldn't have had a better stay.

The interior is spectacular, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We attended the NYE soirée and the Friday evening music, both of which were fantastic. The courtyard is a beautiful place to have dinner and relax in the evening. A major highlight was the effort they made for our daughter’s birthday — cake, singing, and so many smiles; she’ll never forget it. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the souk and many key sights.

This is a Beautiful Riad very close to the outer wall of the Souk, 5 minutes walk on the outside of the wall will take you to the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa) and two minuetes walk inside will take you into the hussle and bussle of the madina shopping. Where the Riad is located is a very quiet area so you will not hear a sound from the traffic or the souk. The decor is fantastic, the staff are really friendly, the breakfast is very good with a great choice, food in the restraunt is top class and the benifit of the bar with an open fire was great. Entertainment was provided on two nights at dinner, a traditiona Morroccan Duet with Belly Dancer on the first night and a brillant Magician going from table to table the 2nd night. My recommendation would be, you arrange collection from the airport throught the Riad as it can stressfull ariving out of the airport to TAXI TAXI TAXI and their driver will take you close to the Riad and organise the porter to meet outside to take your baggage and walk you to the Riad as I have seen people say they found it difficult to find. We could not recommend this Riad HIGHLY ENOUGH, thanks to all for a wonderful stay.
Cons: I would be great if a member of staff remained in the breakfast room to help find things and explain about some of the food options.

The hotel was beautiful and situated in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the very busy souks. The terrace was a relaxing place to sit and watch the sun go down. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious and the fire in the bar was very welcoming as the weather had taken a turn for the worst. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
Cons: The menu in the restaurant, whilst delicious, in my opinion needed to be different for lunch and dinner or changed more often.

With its stunning architecture, it has the bones of a true 5-star destination, but a comprehensive revamp and a higher standard of service are needed to bridge the gap between its potential and the current guest experience. The breakfast quality was good, the service timing needs improvement. Despite 9:00 AM being a peak hour, the hot breakfast was only prepared in small batches in a tagine upon request rather than being ready for arriving guests. This led to a wait of over 30 minutes, which was disappointing as multiple groups were left waiting for food.

Esperienza fantastica. Assolutamente da rifare e consigliata. Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questa stupenda struttura, insieme ad una coppia di amici. Riad bellissimo, pulitissimo e molto profumato, situato in ottima posizione per visitare la città: nel centro cittadino, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale, ma allo stesso tempo in posizione molto tranquilla e sicura. Personale disponibilissimo e molto cortese. Buona colazione. Abbiamo anche usufruito di 2 pranzi al ristorante del riad e più volte del servizio bar: tutto ottimo e consigliato.

It was our first riad experience in Morocco and we loved it. Location is not the most convenient because taxi won’t go there and it was a little tricky to find it but once inside it was a different world of wonder! Beautifully designed facility with a beautiful rooftop and a wonderful and accommodating staff! Breakfast is buffet style and was good. They offer one complimentary half hour massage but we didn’t have the time to enjoy it. Overall a very good experience!

Cons: El dueño se paseaba dando órdenes y mostrando su descontento constantemente por todo el Riad haciendo la experiencia bastante desagradable ya que se notaba que no estaba contento con nada. La habitación no tenía ventana al exterior, solo al patio interior del Riad. La cama era bastante mala y el baño necesitaba una reforma urgente.

The Riad was beautiful with lots of places to sit and relax on the rooftop and the location was so central for exploring the souks and seeing all the sights of the medina.

What a property! Outstanding service, the entire place leaves you speechless. From the front desk, to the restaurant and to Ali, the driver who took us to the restaurant and the airport were just all so kind and just so helpful. Our room was so beautiful with a balcony. I mean I still dream of this place. Room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. We couldn’t have stayed in a better place for our 10 year anniversary.

The facilities were amazing, it has a lot of decorations and the staff is great. The room was comfortable and spacious.
Cons: We had to bend down everytime we wanted to go to the bathroom, my boyfriend hit his head a couple of times. The bathroom sink was clogged, we informed it to the Reception an hour or so after checking in. We went out, came back, and it was never fixed during our brief stay.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to be. A real oasis of calm and fabulous artistry in the middle of the (wonderful) mayhem of the medina. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, something slightly different each day.

The location is perfect. The staff were amazing. The property is traditional and spectacular. The food and drink is reasonable price wise and really nice. The breakfast was tasty with different things each day. The staff were so accommodating and organised the airport transfer and a balloon trip which was amazing.
Cons: The only issue was the noise at night. We had a room above the restaurant and on one night there was a really loud party of people who were rowdy late at night (and we’d been up early for a balloon trip).

Cons: Unfortunately during our two night stay there was some heavy rain and wind which meant our room only had no power. The rest of the place had power. This power outage also broke our phone chargers. I understand this isn’t exactly the hotels fault, but they weren’t the most helpful during the no power, and no complementary drinks etc offered. We ate in the restaurant once, the food itself was pretty delicious however it arrived wrong and not according to the menu description. The breakfast was average.

Cons: Disappointing stay – not worth the price We stayed two nights at Riad Palais Sebban during our week in Morocco, staying at four different riads, and this was by far the worst experience. It’s hidden deep in the Medina, and we had to get help from a local just to find it. When we arrived, staff took our passports and asked us to wait for tea, but after 20 minutes no one came, and my husband had to go and ask for our room key himself. Our Prestige Room was up several steep flights of stairs, dark and musty, with a very odd layout. The toilet was right beside the bed, and the open shower and vanity were across the room. The bed was uncomfortable, and when we closed the curtain, the whole rod fell off the wall. Breakfast was poor, with cold eggs and crepes, so we only had coffee and fruit. For the price, we expected much better service and comfort. Not sure why this riad is rated so highly — in our opinion, it felt more like a 1-star stay.

It is a really beautiful property with amazing over-the-top Moroccan decor, and multiple terraces with direct views of the Koutoubia tower. The staff was all very kind and helpful - especially Hamza 1 and Hamza 2 at the restaurant and the manager of the front desk who was kind enough to upgrade our room.
Cons: The common areas are beautiful and well kept, but the Deluxe queen room felt way too basic for $220 per night - in serious need of maintenance and the queen size bed was not actual US queen size. The bathroom was small and dingy, felt stained and just needed a complete facelift. On the second night they kindly upgraded us to a larger room/suite with a king size bed and beautiful authentic decor. Even in this suite the bathroom was very basic, dark and just didn’t feel clean. Some mold growing in spots too. Overall the quality of the rooms do not match the price level at all or the type of property.

Un superbe séjour en amoureux. Le personnel est au petit soin très sympathique et souriant. Le riad est atypique et au calme. Il est doté de 3 piscines dans un cadre idyllique au cœur de la médina. Nous avons logé dans la suite Berbère qui est tout simplement immense avec une décoration tout aussi typique du riad. Nous avons également très bien dîné au sein du riad et nous avons adoré profiter du petit rituel de déguster un bon thé à la menthe. Le prix est certe élevé en revanche pour la destination sinon rien à dire.

Gorgeous Riad in the heart of the Medina. Very close walk to most attractions and great restaurants. The Riad is beautiful with many courtyards, two pools, a large rooftop and helpful staff, especially at the front desk and with transportations. We loved our spacious room overlooking the courtyard and a large bathroom. We found our stay to be quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning and WiFi worked well. We also took advantage of the laundry services and airport transportation. We were so grateful for our stay here.
Cons: The bathroom lacked a proper door. The door is completely carved out and see through. It is a pointless door, I like privacy in the bathroom like most people. We also struggled with how hard and uncomfortable the bed and pillows were. We woke with our backs hurting. The breakfast is supposed to start at 7:30am but it really doesn’t start until 8am. We found it very disorganized and there so much staff but felt things were never ready. Even when we went down at 9am instead they didn’t have any cups, plates or silverware and we had to ask for each thing.

Cons: The room was very cramped and lacked privacy because it had a big glass window and door opening onto the landing. We could see into other rooms and they could see into ours if we opened the curtain. It was also very noisy which made it hard to sleep. The room was so cramped the mini bar/fridge was in the bathroom opposite the toilet. The communal spaces in the Riad were beautiful but there were so many tables and chairs both in the restaurant and on the roof that it made everything seemed cramped and claustrophobic so it lacked the peaceful charm of other riads I’ve stayed in.

First off, the location, very close to one of the gates to the Medina was exceptional, as getting in and out with luggage was easy. The gardens and pool inside were wonderful, just the place to relax and cool off in the heat. My wife was VERY happy with the comfortable bed, as was I. Staff was exceptional, tending to all of our needs. Food and drink were also top notch! We ended up staying an extra day because it had everything we needed. Thanks!

Cons: Das Frühstück vom Geschmack und Auswahl. Auch gehörte das Riad mal Renoviert/einer Grundreinigung unterzogen.Insbesondere der Eingang bzw. Weg zum Riad gehört dringend Renoviert. Anscheinend sind sie aber dabei, jedenfalls auf der Terrasse. Es ist allgemein schon sehr abgewohnt.

I’d like to share a fair and honest review of my stay at this hotel. What I liked • The hotel had beautiful interiors, exactly like the photos. Everywhere I looked was picture-perfect. • The staff were kind and responded quickly to requests. • Although check-in was at 2 PM, I arrived early and they kindly let me into my room an hour in advance. • The staff helped carry my luggage when I checked out. • Even though I ordered food just before the kitchen closed, they happily accepted my order, and I was able to enjoy a delicious soup late at night.
Cons: What I found disappointing • The breakfast was limited in both variety and quantity. Not all dishes were covered, so flies were landing on the food, which was unpleasant. • The coffee machine was out of order for three days, but no one fixed it. • Guests are not allowed to bring in food or drinks from outside. While I can understand restrictions on alcohol, juice, or meals, I found it unreasonable that even bottled water was not allowed. Especially in hot weather, it would have been helpful to have water from outside for taking medicine or drinking at night. • Although I booked for three people, only two sets of amenities (towels, glasses, etc.) were provided. • The bath towels were unusually stiff and rough. The bathrobes were also hard and even torn. I think they should consider replacing them or at least using fabric softener. • The room had two air conditioners, but one was broken and leaking so much water that it pooled on the floor. The water even reached the electrical switches, which felt dangerous. At first, the response from the front desk was simply “don’t use that unit,” but after contacting them three or four times, they finally sent someone to repair the leak. • For three nights for three people, the total was £700. I wasn’t expecting luxury, but honestly, I don’t feel the hotel delivered value for that price.

The location is perfect for the touristic attractions and the more luxurious restaurants. The well known restaurant Safran is just 5 min walking. The room is very clean and the hotel facilities are perfect. There is a nice swimming pool. There is a second swimming pool, but this one had no water during our stay. They have a bar where they serve alcoholic beverages. In the morning there is a buffet for breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Heineken beers in the minibar were expired and we had two different pillows. One pillow was very nice and soft and the other pillow was very hard.

Very impressively restored riad. The main pool area is great, the pool is nice and deep and perfect to cool off in after a day in the Medina. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The riad is well located, a few minutes walk into the Medina from a road. Minor things: they don’t have non alcoholic beer in the bar when it is otherwise very common elsewhere. There is no shower curtain etc so the floor tends to get a bit wet.

Cons: The breakfast buffet looked pretty, but I couldn’t eat most of it because I was so grossed by the amount of flies and bees that would just sit on the food. We’re talking 10-20 bugs at a given time. I know Marrakech has a lot of flies and bees, we saw them all over, but the Riad should invest in more bug prevention to avoid contamination of the food. Additionally, the main entrance to the Riad needs some work. It looks like a construction zone and does not set the stage for a 5 star hotel experience.

Tutto il personale è estremamente cordiale e sorridente, ma soprattutto sempre disponibile. Avevamo la camera “Tichka”, dalla quale, salendo una sola rampa di scale, potevamo accedere ad una delle tre piscine del Riad, quella un po’ più “privata”, su un terrazzo meno affollato, il che garantiva un vero relax. It was a really amazing and well maintained place, so beautiful. The staff were nice and helpful. There were 2 pools, where we mostly used the little on the rooftop, very useful during the hot summer days. It looked like they were building a third pool. Breakfast was good, with many local dishes and freshly squeezed orange juice. The location was great, close to one of the city gates of the medina, so it was easy to get a taxi, but away from the noise and chaos of the souks. It was a quiet area that seemed very safe. We would happily be staying here again.

This Riad was utter perfection. The ideal location at the edge of the souks and with the airport pick up the mini break was easy and stress free. Our room had the most beautiful view over the stunning courtyard and was cool with AC and so comfortable. We loved the rooftop pool after a hot day at the souks and with the robes provided it felt so luxurious. The delicious breakfast set us up for the days and the staff were just so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. I’ve already recommended this Riad to all my friends. This place made our holiday and we felt we didn’t even need to visit the Palaces as the Riad gave us the beautiful architecture we were after.

The rooftop pool was ideal at the end of a hot day and the breakfast was amazing and set us up nicely for a day in the Souks. Wonderful Riad in a great location. I loved my stay here. My room was more spacious than I thought it would be, felt like a suite. Amazing decor everywhere, the whole place is just beautiful. Staff were also exceptional, really helpful and attentive. I also recommend the restaurant - I didn't feel like going out on my last night so I ate at the riad and was blown away by the quality of the food. Some of the best I've had in Morocco, I wish I'd eaten there on my first night too so I could have sampled more dishes.

Firstly, Architecturally this hotel is something special! It's restoration and upkeep using original methods and details is phenomenal. There isn't a corner of this hotel that isn't beautiful. Secondly, this hotel feels like a home with its incredible staff. From our very first meeting, on the side of the road at our airport taxi, to each member of staff that playfully joked and made faces with our little daughter or the friendly greetings from staff that are forever smiling. Nothing was ever too much. The concierge was great help organizing tours, taxis and requests. Thirdly, we ate in the restaurant for all of our meals and found the food delicious - with a young child we couldn't be out late or in the heat and the hotel offered the perfect oasis. Shaded by the pool for lunch, tucked in the air conditioned bar at night or out on the patio for breakfast. They provided a comfortable baby crib for our little one and made her feel so welcomed. Our room was gorgeous and unique and had imperfections that let you know it was an original and not a replication. AC is perfect in the summer heat.
Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but our room was located close to the exit from the riad and as a result some guests tried opening our door at night. The hotel put up signs to deter them, but guests will be guests and didn't read. This wouldn't stop us staying here again.

The staff were absolutely amazing — every single one of them was polite, helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. A true example of what hospitality should be like! The rooms were beautiful and spotless. Although we didn’t get exactly the rooms we had booked on Booking.com, we didn’t mind at all. The riad is so cozy and charming that we quickly forgot about it. The food and drinks were delicious, with plenty of variety. If you wanted something different, they would even go out and get it just for you. Truly exceptional service! The location is perfect: everything is within walking distance — Djemaa El Fna, the Koutoubia Mosque, El Badi Palace, and Bahia Palace are all about 15 minutes away on foot. I highly recommend this place to everyone — it is absolutely worth the time, money, and experience! 🥰😍

Absolutely everything was perfect! we arranged to be picked up from the airport (150dh) and were met as arranged. We were dropped outside the medina walls and a lovely man met us can took our luggage to the Riad. We were welcomed with mint tea and biscuits, and were given a map with helpful hints and advice. We decided to have lunch and wow! The chicken pastilla! So good we had it twice. Despite booking a standard room, we were given the beautiful “red” room.The doors are old and part of the history of the building. It would be criminal to put modern locks on them and so several doors are locked with a chain and padlock. I saw someone has complained about this - no idea why - it’s probably safer! The breakfast was also incredible - eggs, bread, fruit and nuts, cakes, Moroccan pancakes, cold meat and cheese. All delicious. The main pool is by the restaurant and we felt a bit self conscious to use it, so we were delighted to find about small pool on the roof with comfortable sun lounges and towels provided. The location is perfect, close enough to everything but not in the carotid heart of the medina. We cannot recommend it enough!

Cons: Communicatie was waardeloos. Was ons dezelfde kamer beloofd met dezelfde prijs als de 1e keer. Kamer bleek overboekt te zijn en moesten meer betalen. Ik had mijn jas laten liggen, zou klaar liggen zodra ik terugkwam in het hotel. Kreeg hem pas een dag later terug. Ontbijt lag open en bloot buiten waardoor vogels mee aten van het ontbijt. Niet hygiënisch.

We cannot fault Palais Sebban at all - everything was just perfect. We arranged to be picked up from the airport (150dh) and were met as arranged. We got dropped off outside the medina wall where a lovely man met us and carried our luggage for us for the short walk to the Riad. We were welcomed with mint tea and shown to a table on the beautiful terrace where we were given a map with some helpful hints and advice. We decided to have lunch and it was amazing! The chicken pastilla - wow! Despite booking a standard room, we had the beautiful “red” room. The doors are old and part of history and it would be criminal to put a modern lock on them, so a lot of doors have a chain and padlock- absolutely no problem with this at all. (I saw someone has complained about this - no idea why!) The air conditioning was a godsend! There is so much choice for breakfast - cakes, fruit, eggs, bread, Moroccan pancakes, cold meat and cheese. All delicious. The main pool is by the restaurant and we felt a bit self conscious to use it, so we were delighted to discover another small pool on the roof with comfortable sun loungers and towels provided. The location of the Riad is perfect- close enough to everything, but not in the chaotic heart of the medina. We cannot recommend it enough!

I saw a lot of great reviews online before booking at the Palais Sebban. The place lived up to the reviews that I read. Two things that I enjoyed that I did not see mentioned in other reviews. The Riad actually has two pools. In addition to the pool in the courtyard of the Riad (which appears in many pictures) there also is a small pool on the rooftop terrace. Also, the Riad has a Friday night dinner with local performers. The menu is the same as the other nights, but having the local performers is a really nice addition.

We had a mixed response to Palais Sebban. The pool was a refreshing respite from the heat and the Riad is an interesting place. We only booked a standard room and we found it to be small and very dark, too dark to see some things clearly and maintenance was an issue. During our stay they had a French fashion promotion which meant the pool area could not be used whilst this was on. We came home after a long, hot day touring Casablanca to find the fashion show on and staff tried to shuffle us out of the way and to our rooms very quickly. We certainly did not feel like welcomed guests. They are also too focused on making money from drinks and food and have a warning that you cannot bring food or drink into the property. This is ridiculous in a place where you need to use bottled water for drinking and cleaning your teeth and subsequently go through a lot of water. They provide water for the first day then you are meant to buy from them. They do make an effort with breakfast but this is not as impressive when you realise it is all laid out on a table in the sun with flies crawling over the food and birds dropping into eat from the table.

Een adembenemend mooi riad met prachtig binnenplein. Het personeel is echt ontzettend vriendelijk en wil je overal mee helpen. Ze hebben ook prachtige bedrijfskleding aan, iets wat we bij andere riads toch wat minder zagen. Met twee kleinde zwembaden en een massage/hammam genoeg ruimte om ook even lekker te relaxen. De massage was ook voortreffelijk.
Cons: De eerste nacht hoorden we medewerkers die keihard aan het afwassen waren. Daar zijn we een keer van wakker geschrokken rond een uur of 00:30. Afgezien van dat niets.

It looks even better than the photos!! I booked the deluxe double and I think we got an upgrade to the Atlas room which we have our own private terrace!!! The room looks incredible super beautiful the architecture around each corner of the riad is breathtaking. The hamman spa was also great, tried 30mins hamman and 30mins massage, the hamman was like a sauna and exfoliating, then you get covered in mud as a mask! I love the massage!! The lady is very cheerful and kindhearted, her massage is the best!!

What made the place were the beautiful staff in particular at reception and at breakfast. I am a coeliac and the staff went out of their way to make fresh gluten free bread at breakfast. This place is excellent. If you've narrowed your choice down to a few places to stay, just book Palais Sebbon. You will be so glad you did. We booked it for a Monday, went to dessert Tues, weds and Thursday (just took a rucksack each), back to Palais Sebbon on Thursday night and Fri night so we left case at hotel, which made it so easy. The staff are happy and helpful, the food is amazing and well presented and very reasonable priced. The courtyard is the perfect place to relax with a wine. The pool, fountain, and candle lit lanterns are mesmerising. I am usually ready for home, but I really did not want to leave Palais Sebbon. Bottled water, towels, hair dryer, shower gel, and shampoo all provided in room. A total retreat, can't wait to return.

My mom and I stayed at Palais Sebban for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The perfect location, excellent staff, clean room with a beautiful balcony. Everything about this Riad is so well thought out. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and felt so private and special. THE BEST PART was the amazing buffet every morning, it was always different foods and I went to sleep looking forward to the breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, I will be back!

Très beau riad proche de l'entrée de la médina, parfait pour découvrir Marrakech. Le riad est grand avec plusieurs terrasses et espaces pour se retrouver et se reposer. 2 piscines disponibles (celle de la cour principale et une plus petite & isolée, sur le toit). Le personnel est très gentil, professionnel et prévenant. Nous avons eu droit à un massage gratuit pour une personne à notre arrivée.
Cons: Notre chambre était plutôt bruyante car proche d'une zone de passage dans le riad et assez sombre (ce qui peut être le cas dans un riad nous en convenons). Mais le confort est quand même au RDV et isolé des bruits de la ville.

Cons: Some of reception staff (ladies) not all well trained. Staff has to recognize the age of guests when allocating rooms. Young people get the easy to reach rooms, elderly the worst. I was given the room with too much stairs. But when deying this unconvenient located room, they offered a suite. Sounds great. But lamps at the bed too dark to read, so had to get up and walk to the door for the main swith of lights. Window curtains not working. Not possible to close the 2 wings door easily. You have to use a chain with a locker. In case of emergengy, it will be difficult to receive help, if you lock yourself from the inside. So just I pushed the the door back, which was a strange feeling as anybody could enter. The suite was an Indian Moghul suite, which I was wondering to find in Marrakech. The bathroom was repaired with a strange wooden cupboard, which didn´t fit the other decoration. But I have seen other nice rooms.

Ce Riad fabuleux est situé à quelques pas de la Koutoubia et de la place Jemma El Fna. Dès qu'on pénètre dans cet ancien palais, on se croirait au pays des mille et une nuit. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la déco raffinée, tout est fait pour un dépaysement total. Les 2 piscines sont des plus agréables et le calme règne, on ne s'imagine pas le tumulte de la ville à quelques pas de là. La cuisine est également excellente et raffinée.

Cons: 部屋に敷かれている絨毯が不衛生で、足に虫に噛まれた跡が残りました。シャワールームと洗面が簡素過ぎるので、もう少しグレードアップして頂ければ使いやすいと思います。部屋全体が暗いので明るいランプが必要だと思いました。連泊の2日目にも無料のミネラルウォーターを補充して頂きたかったです。city taxの支払いが事前に出来れば良いと思います。荷物を運んでいただく際リヤカーを利用して運んで頂ければなお良かったと思います。

State of the art architecture and hospitality. The details of the Riad are at the level of the palaces that you visit in Marrakesh - an extremely rich history and attention to detail. Every place of the Riad is very well thought and has a unique atmosphere - from the entrance to the interior courtyard where you eat, to the rooftop with the pool and of course the rooms. Everything was very confortable and had a calming feeling, much needed when you arrive from the busy streets of Marrakesh.

We hadden de berbere suite met een heerlijk terras. Daar hebben we enorm van genoten; ruim, rustig en prive. Het hotel zelf is een ware bezienswaardigheid; prachtig! We hebben een avond er gegeten en het was oke; er was live muziek en dans wat wel erg de moeite waard was.
Cons: Cappuccino bij ontbijt zou ik erg gewaardeerd hebben. Nu moest je bijbetalen. Taxi via hotel liet ruim een uur op zich wachten. Je kan beter zelf een taxi op de airport nemen.

The Riad Palais Sebban is a beautiful,calming space and in an excellent location. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by everyone who works as they make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food the hotel offer is great and plenty of vegetarian options. The reception/concierge are very knowledgeable and provide great advice about what to do in the area and how to travel to places. I’d recommend booking a taxi with them if arriving to Marrakech airport, instructions are easy to follow and only £15

The riad is in an excellent location and the property is beautiful. A wonderful escape from hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We had a large group and everyone was very happy with the Riad. Dinner and Breakfast were lovely. It was a great start to our Moroccan Adventure. I highly recommend this property.

The Riad was beautiful!! It was definitely an oasis inside the busy medina. The service was excellent. A quick breakfast was prepared for us because we were leaving at 5:30am. Transfers to the airport was prearranged and on time. We were helped with our heavy bags.
Cons: The Riad was so beautiful but I think we missed some of it's features due to our short stay.

GORGEOUS place. Beautiful gardening/flowers surrounding all the common areas; beautiful architecture everywhere you go; attentive, friendly staff; very clean, well-kept room. Delicious buffet breakfast. On a quiet street but still close to several points of interest. Such a great value!!

Il Riad è una perla che non ti aspetti di trovare nel caos di Marrakesh. Patio centrale meraviglioso e piscina stupenda. Fa venire voglia di rimanere tutto il giorno lì a rilassarsi. Posizione perfetta, davvero comodo per muoversi verso tutte le attrazioni principali, con una fermata dei taxi a soli 5 minuti a piedi.
Cons: La nostra stanza purtroppo non aveva nessuna finestra che affacciava sull'interno o che comunque potesse essere aperta con facilità. Questo rende la camera un po' maleodorante dal momento che rimane sempre chiusa. Si poteva aprire solo la porta che dà direttamente sul letto quindi abbastanza scomodo. Sarebbe utile aggiungere una luce all'interno della doccia perchè praticamente ci si fa la doccia al buio.

This is a building renovated in some style over the last 20 years from a ruin by its French proprietors.
Cons: My stay was ruined by the unwelcome spectacle in the foyer of a male member waiter repeatedly beating a female cleaner and harrassing her no matter where she went to escape. When I drew this to the manager's attention, he said that men in Morocco believe they can treat women this way and that she was divorced with a young baby (deserving then?). The waiter and cleaner were summoned to his office and then went straight back to work, with the waiter giving me the evil eye. In Europe, this would have merited instant dismissal and very probably police intervention, but Morocco clearly works in very different ways. I remain shocked by what I saw, and perhaps more so by the condoning of this aggression by the manager.

Nos alojamos solo una noche, pero fue suficiente para enamorarnos del lugar. El riad es precioso, con una decoración cuidada al detalle y un patio con piscina que parece sacado de una postal. Al llegar, nos recibieron con té y pastas de bienvenida en ese mismo patio, un detalle que nos encantó. La habitación era muy espaciosa, con una cama muy cómoda, muchas toallas disponibles y todo impecablemente limpio. Teníamos que salir muy temprano (a las 7 de la mañana) y, aun así, nos prepararon una bolsita con fruta para el camino. Un gesto que demuestra el nivel de atención y cariño que ponen en cada detalle. ¡Recomendadísimo!

Just returned from a perfect Spring break in Marrakesh. This Riad is breathtakingly beautiful, quiet and perfect in all ways. We had some wonderful meals and enjoyed beers on the many terraces. The staff team were super friendly and helpful. This is our 2nd visit and we cannot wait for the third!

This is my 3rd stay here and with so much choice in Marrakesh that should speak volumes. There are many beautiful places to stay of course but I love the traditional Moroccan decor and the original Palace in which the Riad is situated is really beautiful. There is enough space to relax and the rooftop has great views over Kesh and the mountains. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant in the Riad is excellent and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the medina. There is also a liquor lisence which lots of places don't have so one can enjoy a glass of rosé by the pool. There is also a second little pool on the roof which is great for little ones. The access to the Riad is also fantastic being a short walk from one of the entry points onto the medina which makes everything so much more convenient. If you have small children then book a room overlooking the courtyard so you can have a quiet dinner while they sleep and you can hear them.

This is a stunning riad, everywhere you look there is something beautiful. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was nice, and we ate a couple of times in the hotel and the food was great.
Cons: Our bedroom was lovely, but there was no storage drawers at all, which meant our room was untidy for our stay as we were living out of our suitcases. There was shampoo and shower gel but that was it, I would have expected at least some body lotion and conditioner in a hotel of this standard.
