Love staying at the Argana, it was our 4 th time in 12 months. The hotel has a Moroccan ambience, well located and the staff from the receptionist to the room maid are very welcoming and helpful. The food is good especially the amazing home made omelettes at breakfast. We will be returning to the Argana in 2026 to enjoy the excellent hospitality 🙂

We spent four days here with friends from November 11-21, 2025, and were initially impressed by the many positive aspects of the hotel. It's clean and pleasant, has a friendly atmosphere, and the staff is always smiling and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, and the linens and towels were fresh. The food was good, and the pool, gym, and entertainment were enjoyable. The location is excellent for exploring Agadir. Unfortunately, despite these positives, our stay was severely marred by a serious hygiene issue: bedbug infestations in two different hotel rooms. We experienced numerous bites all over our bodies. Even after the hotel kindly changed our room, the problem persisted. The attached photos—all taken in the hotel room—show swelling, inflammation, and bite clusters on my arms, legs, hands, and neck. For several days, we were unable to use the pool or many hotel amenities due to pain, itching, and skin irritation. We were also forced to purchase antihistamines, steroid creams, and room disinfectants ourselves, which generated additional costs and stress. Although the staff were polite and apologetic, the hotel offered no compensation for the health issues, inconvenience, lost vacation days, or the costs we incurred. In most European four-star hotels, such situations are typically compensated—for example, with a refund, a free stay, or a significant discount on a future visit. It's a shame that none of these solutions were offered here, especially considering the severity of the problem and the fact that it affected four guests and occurred in two rooms. We sincerely hope that the management will take immediate and comprehensive measures to eliminate this problem and bring guest service standards in line with international hospitality standards

Lovely hotel..friendly staff..Noisy room right next to nightclub till 5am...we got moved next morning.. Plenty food fresh fruit etc its based on a Mediterranean diet Nice pool area kept clean Experienced my 1st moroccon Hammam and massage I felt great after it . Evening entertainment is not great needs revamped and improved Beach area 10 minute walk away Plenty taxis always get a price before you travel Lots to see and do if you take time out to explore Several Airport security checks including random one inside gate area only for UK citizens 🙄 on way home Would I return??yes a holiday is always what you make it yourself Drinks are expensive in pool area Cheaper in upstairs bar or local pubs etc Weather was fabulous for November 2025

I had the one of the best experiences in Morocco. I had great customer services from the beginning. My room was not as advertised and the gentleman at the desk sorted it out with no problem. Excellent facilities and well maintained. Great variety of food, fresh fruit and very patient staff. The facilities were being repaired and painted, I saw the pool being cleaned every morning and I witnessed exceptional levels of cleanliness and hygiene. I am returning in December of 2025 and can't wait. Great accessibility to the beach with a plot for the hotel guests. Close transport links to the city or to the tremendous souk. Carrefour market (like a Tesco) is a ten minute stroll.

A very pleasant place. The hotel isn't crammed into the city center, but everything is close by. A short walk to the modestly developed hotel beach takes just a few minutes. Even a bit of evening noise from the pool and Spagos bar didn't bother us. The only drawback was the monotony of the meals, with unfortunately limited vegan options. Any complaints are promptly reviewed by the staff and resolved immediately. Any shortcomings are made up for by the atmosphere created by the entire hotel crew, with a special nod to the "gang" of animators. 😄

Hotel clean, staff lovely but if you want to relax then avoid this hotel, we found it extremely noisy especially in the evenings disco nearby till 3am ,we arrived at 8pm and by 1am there was a queue at reception wanting to change rooms us included ,they did move everyone ,our next room had garden views ,lovely and quiet till the guest appeared next door. Then a burst pipe the last 2 days, buckets down in the corridor which was fine ,but they never emptied them causing the corridor to flood continually. The hotel is away from the beach ,we didnt mind as we like walking , market was fab, local restaurants were great too, as the food in hotel was dire, NEVER HOT so had to eat out. Not for us

We have visited Argana 5 times and each time the hotel has improved so much upgrading rooms and areas . The staff are friendly and kind and can not do enough for you . Solo travellers you will feel very safe , I went with family . Be aware the drinks are really expensive probably too expensive . The food is delicious around pool area and good value for money . Entertainment is ok but after a few visits maybe a change ? One thing only to score the 4 stars is the pool is so so cold during winter months . The spa staff are wonderful Kind and friendly . A good value hotel that just keeps improving and hopefully will hear the points I made .

The overwhelming feature of the hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in reception, the restaurant and especially housekeeping. Our room had a side view of the sea, the little garden ( and also the empty building next door) which suited us fine as it was very quiet. We couldn't hear anything from the pool or the nightclubs which did bother some people we spoke to. The one issue we had with the hot water was swiftly dealt with once reported. Breakfast was very good but we were less happy with dinner. It was reasonable for me but very slim pickings for my vegetarian husband, One night he only had dessert as the supposed vegetable quiche advertised turned out to be quiche lorraine which has meat in it. We gave up for the last few nights and went out (there are some nice restaurants nearby). The pool was warm enough and deep enough for a swim and there always seemed to be sunbeds available when I went there. The hotel isn't far from the seafront which is lovely to walk along. The weather was very good indeed and we really enjoyed our stay. If we went again it would be B&B though in order to have better food choices in the evening.

Argana hotel is as always our go to hotel in Agadir . We have always enjoyed our stays here. The hotel continues to be improving under the guidance of Hadil. He has always been most accommodating person and is always happy to help customers but also take any suggestions of improvement onboard. The girls on the front desk were very nice and a special thanks goes to Karima who had a high a very high level of customer service and was a great and helped us at all times in the most efficient manner. In fact all the staff around the hotel have a good level of friendless and customer service . In terms of the hotel this hotel is still as always very well maintained and each time we visit there is always new improvements happening. We noticed the hotel now has a new bar / chill area near the pool side next to the main bar for people to relax, meet up and listen to music and relax and in our case watch football on a evening in. There is always shows on at night which are good to watch and pass the evening away. The food available is very good standard at both breakfast and in the evenings ( we only booked half board this time) and there is always a lot of choice of what to eat. The pool is well maintained and there are things to do like yoga in the mornings and some pool exercise sessions during the day and plenty of sun beds to relax. This hotel is a great stay for those looking for a good hotel which is of a good value and for those to be close enough to the beach and also close enough to the local shops and community and amenities. The only improvement I would suggest is that the hotel aims to continues to improve its Internet connection for the rooms . I know some improvement has been made but it did go on and off at times and more stronger stable internet connection and capacity will help customers enjoy their stay even more. Over all another great stay and a very big thank you to you Hadil and all your staff for looking after us and giving us another memorable stay.

On arriving we found out that there was a £5 charge for the gym per person each day for a one and a half hour session, our agent failed to inform us about this. My wife has OCD and as with all holidays she will clean the room to her standard and then unpack. Our room was dated but its location was as we had booked. During the first two weeks of our stay we spent most of the time at the reception and in our room because we had no hot water at all. The maintenance staff would come and fix it and it would last for a day or two or not be hot enough for a shower. On one occasion they arrived at 10.30pm leaving after an hour with the water only warm enough to wash our hands. We finally had to move room which was located on a lower floor with not so good a view. We wasted the day packing, cleaning the new room and moving our belongings to the new room. My wife was unwell on two occasions, the second time was when we had moved room and she was unable to go to the restaurant so had her meals in the room. The restaurant staff were very helpful in this situation. The entertainment in the evening is outside by the pool which was facing our room. This started around 8.30pm amd finished around 11.30pm. The volume was so loud that we could not sleep and although we requested that the volume was turned down slightly every night our requests were not met. In addition the hotel next door would have music just as loud until 2am. The food was okay but it was a fixed weekly menu so the variety was very boring after a while. They charged £2.50 for a 1.5 litre bottle of water in the restaurant which you could buy in the shop next door for 50 pence. We had to buy our own tea, coffee milk (lactose free) and bottled water as these were not provided. The one star for this hotel is for the following members of staff in the restaurant namely Taki, Hicham, Abdellah and Nabaya the house keeper as they helped us to enjoy some of our stay.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are so welcoming and go out of their way to make your visit stress free and enjoyable . We had a wonderful experience in the spa, you must try this if you visit. The animation team are great fun and have lots of activities for you to take part in day & night. The concierge staff are so helpful… especially Miriam who went out of her way to sort us a new room when we arrived and was always there with advice etc when needed, nothing is too much to ask. The restaurant staff are lovely also and the food is amazing. I’m already looking for dates for us all to return. Thank you for making our holiday special

We are currently here. Good points Check in speedy Animation team are amazing especially khalid, Entertainment throughout the day and night for adults and kids WiFi good throughout the hotel Central location Private roped area at the beach Rooms cleaned daily Shower gel and hairdryer in rooms You can hire towels. 100d deposit for swimming pool towel and when your holiday finishes you get your money back Make sure you have money for the taxes when you go to check in Bad points Rooms desperately need updating Some of the waitresses are very rude especially if you don't tip them with every purchase. One was really rude to my husband last night all because we didn't tip her for a bottle of water You can't take your own food into the hotel. The beverage manager went crazy at us all because my son had a mcdonaods burger. He said he was turning the cameras on and all sorts. It wasn't a pleasant experience Prices at the hotel are very expensive use local shops for water and drinks for your room. 30d at the hotel for a small can of fanta at the shop it is 6d for a big bottle at the shop outside the hotel At night the beverage staff insist you buy drinks if your sitting on the chairs for entertainment etc. Every single person sitting at the table has to buy drinks regardless. Night club's surround the hotel so if you are in Rooms facing them etc you will hear music until 5am

Mariam at reception was so kind and helpful. We had some issues initially but she happily helped resolve them without any reluctance or hesitations. It was our first time in Agadir, we will definitely be back soon. The only criticism I have is the variations at breakfast. They need to change variety of pastries at breakfast. It was the same breakfast everyday, I would have preferred changes in pastry flavour, cakes, waffles, also my room was not cleaned daily, and toiletries replaced. Otherwise pool area and room was lovely, location, area ad ambience was also fantastic.

I've rated my review 3 based purely on the hotel. First impressions were "it's a bit dated" however this isn't necessarily a bad thing as it was very traditionally Moroccan which we liked. All the staff, with the exception of the pool bar staff, were very friendly, helpful, polite and respectful. Very impressed. Didn't get many names but I'd like to mention lovely Lubna our housemaid and Abdul in the restaurant who looked after us very well! We had pool facing room which was spotlessly clean if a little dated. The mattress and pillows could do with replacing though, my pillows were lumpy foam..not the best. The towels were also tatty and old but clean and changed daily. Downside of a pool facing room is the evening entertainment. Oh my days is it loud and goes on til late so be warned. We were Half-board and the food was lovely, beautifully presented and we were spoilt for choice. If you couldn't find something to eat you're far too fussy! All the waiting staff were very attentive and lovely. The pool area was spotlessly and the seating area by the pool is lovely. There is a pool bar that serves food but we found them to be quite slow and not particularly friendly unlike the rest of the hotel staff. Downside for us and this nothing to do with the hotel is the surrounding area. Yes the beach is within walking distance and the promenade is lovely for a walk but there's very little else around. The marina is small and not particularly pretty compared to some we've seen on other holidays to Turkey or Malta and alot of the shops around it are closed down with just a few little restaurants and coffee shops open. There are places to eat outside of the hotel but few and far between. We've always had lovely streets to wander in the evening with little bars and restaurants to sit in and watch the world go by but not here, unless you want Maccies or Pizza hut which are just across the road. We visited the Oufella(Kasbah) which is worth a visit and we also did a Camel ride and buggy drive both of which were great fun! I would say that if you want a relaxing hotel holiday where you can chill around the pool or you like the onsite entertainment/activities then it's probably fine otherwise I'd say they're are many more much nicer destinations to choose from.

My husband and I visited Morocco for the first time to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, from the 7th -16th of October 2025. Our experience in Agadir was absolutely amazing — we truly enjoyed every moment of it! We stayed at Hotel Argana, which turned out to be a great choice. The location is perfect — within walking distance to the marina, the souk, and many other local attractions. The hotel itself has a mix of modern updated rooms and some older ones. We were initially given one of the older rooms, which we weren’t too happy with, but this was quickly and efficiently resolved by the lovely Mariam at the front desk. Mariam was absolutely wonderful — friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. Without any fuss, she upgraded us to a modern room with a beautiful pool view. We were so pleased with her assistance and how she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She also helped us book a fantastic hamam and spa experience at the hotel, which we highly recommend! All the staff at Hotel Argana deserve recognition — from the front desk and door staff to the restaurant team and the lovely lady who cleaned our room each day. She always left our bed beautifully decorated with the throws, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone worked so hard to make our stay special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Argana and in Agadir. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, and we left with such happy memories. We’ll definitely be returning — next time with our family!

We had a really lovely time at Hotel Argana. We were initially a little disappointed with being in one of the older rooms, but as there were so many other positive points about the hotel we got over it! Everywhere was spotlessly clean and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was varied and tasty and our waiter Mohamed really looked after us 😀 The pool was a great size with plenty of sunbeds and pool towels (refundable deposit) and the entertainment was entertaining! Shout out to Adbel! 🤩 Great deep tissue massage at the spa - definitely recommend! All the staff work so hard, couldn't do enough for us and made our stay really enjoyable. We'd definitely return!

Stayed at this hotel 8th -16th October with my 2 teenagers (16 & 14). On arrival we had issues with our Balcony door and the lovely gentleman on reception was happy to give us a room upgrade. This hotel has something for everyone, great staff that make sure your experience is memorable and fun, particularly the pool and entertainment staff, who took a moment to chat to everyone, particularly the lovely Yusef, who gave great travel trips on other areas of Morocco such as the blue city. There is evening entertainment for young and old, and the show changes nightly, everyone is encouraged to get involved. The teenagers used the Spa and my son cant wait to visit again for the breakfast Harcha. The hotel isn't as close to beach as we thought but only a 15 minute walk away, also you can book excursions in the reception if you aren't sure of outside tour companies. Only downside is, there isn't a particularly quiet side of the hotel, we stayed facing main road, but after first night we hardly noticed, if youre a light sleeper take earplugs. Our room was lovely and clean and our room attendant was in every say with fresh towels and lovely designs on bedding. Pool bar offers food all day and they have a fab menu and great staff. The kasbah has a large screen for football and sports, theres also a barbers, mini market and a lovely wee cafe if you fancy a great cheap breakfast / lunch rather than in hotel. There are so many restraunts and shops within walking distance, and lots of little cheap cabs all day and night (just agree price first) we found somewhere new to eat each night. My first visit and wont be my last.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Sepember. The rooms are nice and spotlessly clean, our maid was so lovely. All the staff are very friendly and we were always greeted when entering and leaving the hotel. Food - we were half board (I upgraded from B&B because of the good food reviews) what a mistake. Breakfast was ok but the evening meal was probably the worst I've ever had. We chose to eat out after the first 2 nights, as did most other people we spoke to. Drinks are very expensive. Take your own water into the restaurant. Drinks - as I've said very expensive. The cocktails are undrinkable, my pina cold split into 2 with just water at the top it was awful. Pool - is lovely but freezing, it's cleaned every day, as is the whole pool area. The sunbeds are jet washed and wiped down. In fact I've never seen so much cleaning in a pool area. There was some room renovations going on and it was sometimes noisy around the pool. Entertainment - the team are happy and enthusiastic but the programme is repetitive and boring. Yoga and darts in the morning and aqua aerobics in the afternoon. We went out most nights, but what evening entertainment we did see was very dated. The magician was a throw back from the 70's, snake charmer was just out to make money from photos, bingo took about an hour a game. Karaoke and Miss Agana. There is little or no entertainment for children. Night club - our room overlooked the pool so we were'lucky'. The noise from the outdoor night club was thumping out music until 1 am, it was so loud it was as if the music was playing in your room. As I said we were lucky as some rooms at the front had a club that was playing music until 5 am. When the clubs closed there was a lot of shouting, singing and car doors slamming. Don't expect a good night's sleep. Spa - this was a lovely treat and the staff made us laugh. But again when we were supposed to be relaxing, all we could hear was drilling. The worst thing for us was that we picked up a stomach bug and spent the whole of the second week on the toilet, we are still being effected by it 3 weeks later, despite receving medication. We thought we could have picked this up anywhere until we spoke to other people who also had it. It was rife in the hotel with even the staff having it. On the whole, we made the most of the holiday but we not recommend this hotel if you want a quiet relaxing holiday.

Rooms are good. But toilet has smell sometimes from drain system. You can exchage pound in the reception with good rates. 3 meals with lots of choices of dishes without drinks including tea and water. Only breakfast has tea. Water bottle is more than over priced than outside shop. Riddiculus. All inclusive advert and no water was a big shock. During the meal time tissues are available upon request. Room service everday. No iron. One complimentary tea and water in the room which is refillable with charges. Charge for ironing clothes by per is expensive.

It truly is a lovely hotel. Close to the beach, the shops and restaurants, I say restaurants but you really don't need one, all the meals at Argana are wonderful, well cooked, hot food is hot and cold food is cold. Serving a salad onto your plate with a dessert spoon though is a little tricky. Housekeeping do a fabulous job erything everywhere is spotlessly clean. We were on the 4th floor and our room attendant was amazing and thoughtful. The only complaint was the guy who did the announcements for the entertainment decided to do this bedroom voice and mainly in French, the only words I understood in the 21 days we were there was, ladies and gentlemen and children. The rest of the time the microphone was half way down his throat or so it sounded to me. Ignoring that I would highly recommend Hotel Argana as a perfect stay in a perfect location.

Facilities at the Argana are wonderful with the Animation staff busy all day from Yoga in the morning to Water Polo and Aqua Aerobics/Dancing in the afternoon and they are so friendly. It’s the staff in Argana who really make one’s stay so enjoyable from Abdul and team in the restaurant to Karima and her team in Reception. They go a long way to ensure an enjoyable stay and always with a wide sincere smile. It’s always such a pleasure and I look forward to a return visit in the New Year.

Could not recommend the Argana Hotel more! we LOVE it. Really would recommend this hotel to anybody. Couples , families or solo travellers will not find somewhere nicer and friendlier than the Argana Hotel. This was out 3rd time visiting and we will be back next year to make it a fourth time... The location, the rooms , the cleanliness ,the food and all the staff are wonderful and make this hotel are wonderful experience. A good gym on site, great yoga put on for free in the morning in the sunshine and entertainment with the brilliant outdoor staff all day from water aerobics, to darts to table tennis . They always have a smile on their face and are such good fun. The food is great and has a wide variety at both breakfast and dinner and the service staff are great, Abdel the waiter meeting us with a smile each morning. The dessert selection is top tier. Fresh omelette and pancakes in the mornings are fabulous and served with a smile by the lovely chefs . The front of house staff including Karima and Miriam, the other ladies and the men on reception and porters were all so helpful and nothing was too much trouble when we asked for anything. Our room was beautiful and the cleaning ladies were exceptional and lovely and friendly and every day our room was left immaculately clean. The hotel was close to the beach, bars and restaurants and the souk is close enough to walk to or there are taxis outside the door if you don't fancy walking to practice your bartering skills!

This is my favorite hotel in Morocco. I've been there at least 15 times and I keep coming back. 😍 The reception staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting you with a smile every day. 😍 The entertainment team is fantastic, both during the day by the pool and in the evening. The fire show performed by the entire team, especially animator Abdel, is amazing. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Delicious and diverse food every day. Renovated, modern rooms. 😍 Plus, the Spagos Bar by the pool, where you can eat delicious food and drink amazing drinks! Definitely my favorite place in Morocco. ❤️

Cons: The beach is so far away to be considered “beachfront”. No shuttle service and no disabled access either — it’s literally a 10–15 minute walk up and down a hill. Take a screenshot of the room photos online because they’re false advertising. The rooms are very outdated even though the pictures make them look modern and sleek. It’s loud at night with street noise and club music. The windows are thin as paper — you can hear everything: cats fighting, people talking, cars honking. Absolutely ridiculous. No free iron — only an overpriced ironing service. Full board doesn’t even include drinks with meals (the only full board I’ve ever been to that doesn’t!). You only get hot drinks, juice and water at breakfast. The waiting staff are rude and barely pay attention unless you’re buying something. We constantly had to ask for cutlery or napkins more than once. Entertainment seating is a joke — way too limited for the size of the hotel. People start reserving seats from 7pm even though the shows don’t start until 9:30pm, so loads of people end up standing. The corridors are constantly wet with no hazard signs, which makes walking around stressful — especially in the mornings. Barely any plug sockets in the room — only one, so we had to keep switching chargers. The sink got blocked three times in a week. A horrible sewage smell came out of the air con, so we stopped using it, which left the room boiling hot. The food is hit and miss and very repetitive. Breakfast was the only meal I actually enjoyed. The food is nearly always lukewarm or cold, and the queues at breakfast are ridiculous because there aren’t enough staff. The fruit juices are powdered and overly sweet — nothing fresh at all. Drinks and snacks are massively overpriced. The mini shop next door is three times cheaper — 25 dirhams for a can of Coke at the hotel, or 7.5 for a 1.5L bottle at the shop! The bed was the worst part — rock solid, uneven and just awful. I even came home with backache. Definitely not a 4-star hotel — I’d barely give it a 3, and only because it’s clean. Wi-Fi is terrible and the water isn’t always hot. ⸻ Pros: Asma, who cleaned rooms 1135 and 1138, was absolutely amazing — so sweet, friendly and accommodating. She cleaned our rooms every day and honestly made the stay worth it. Evening entertainment was actually decent — fire breathing, magic shows and interactive stuff. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Good location — close to shops, McDonald’s, KFC, etc. ⸻ All in all, I’d definitely come back to Agadir, but not to this hotel — you couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Stayed at the hotel argana for a week with my partner. Staff are absolutely amazing, so warm and friendly. Abdul in the restaurant was the most amazing host at meal time. Always ensuring we had exactly what we required. Food was lovely, always hot, plenty to choose from and so tasty. If you are looking for authentic dishes then this is the place to be. If you are vanilla with your food choices then look somewhere else (not a chip or chicken nugget in sight) which was perfect for us as we like to sample local dishes when in other countries. Entertainment team were brilliant, all staff so friendly and welcoming. Always had a smile to great you and always polite and courteous 😄. We did ask to move rooms after the first night as the room was near the attached nightclub and noise was too much for us. This was dealt with immediately and the second room we had was lovely with amazing views. The hotel is spotless and cleaners work hard at maintaining the cleanliness continuously. We will be back to enjoy the delights of this hotel and more importantly it's wonderful staff.

On the fence with mixed reviews on this hotel. On arrival staff at desk were fab. We had one 3 bed room. And a family suite. The family suite was brilliant value for money. With balcony over looking the pool. A bedroom, living room and bedroom attached. The 3 bed pretty standard but all you'd need. Clean. Full of smellies, toilet roll and towels. Entertainment- was ok. Advertised as starting 9.30pm. By the time it started was 9-50 on times. Which is late for younger children. We found that with the background (tv) you visually couldn't see much on the stage unless you was really close. The music was too loud and overbearing to go with the acts. - with entertainment come noise..... this is probably one of the downsides of having a family suite. It's VERY loud. Right up until past midnight. Clear and loud. Which means no early nights. My 3 year old daughter couldn't drop off until it finished. Whilst noise is expected, this is a different level of noise. The Karoke was unbearable. Although we laughed through it seeing the funny side of the awful singing. Staff- the hotel staff, cleaners, front desk are amazing can't do enough for you! My son lost his wallet. We didn't expect to see it again. Asked at reception. They had held it for us. Returned with his money, cards everything. ❤️ The outside bar and tables- so we weren't aware before being told off many occasions. You can't get out of the pool and sit on the sofas. You can't take your buffet food out from the dinner hall to eat on the tables. You have to purchase the food they sell from there. This also applies to drinks. You can't buy drinks from inside hotel, and take them outside. They're seperate from hotel apparently. We were a family of 8 and tried to move chairs to accommodate and make seating area larger. We wasn't allowed and told off for doing so. One of the kids had bought their bottle of water down. Told off for drinking it at table. Another bug bearer- the cash machine charges and has a rubbish exchange rate. However, the shop next to the hotel, and the bars do not take card. It's cash only. The drink prices are very overpriced for Morocco. However, standard for tourism. The daily entertainment is a great way to break up the day. they are a great team, really try to interact. Friendly. Although we didn't get involved in much there was water sports. Yoga, dance, darts. Food- I found the food great, good variety. Different tastes from the world. Very cultural. Beautifully presented and plentiful. That's if your not a fussy British eater. For the love of children around the world I think the buffet would benefit from a kids corner with some fries. But that's being picky. The one issue was that using the tongs in the hot pots, I kept having electric shocks. 🤣 also spotted some kid using his hands to grab sweetcorn out of the bowl to plate. Although that's not hotel issue. 🫣 Hotel excursions/day trips- there's a great variety. We did crocpark with the hotel. However, dont be scared to shop around. They were very reliable and trustworthy, no hassle. The transfer bloke was amazing! Happy to tell us the history of town em route to croc park! BUT there's better prices. GetYourGuide came out great value. A fraction of the price. We booked the rest through this. Location- fairly central if you know where your going. It's very few and far between with shops etc so not really sure we seen it all 🤣. beach isn't far, was handy to have beds there free. I will say despite mixed thoughts and feelings. We as a family with all age children felt wholly safe in this hotel. I think that is the main. Is it 4*?! Probably not in my opinion. However, our stay was a great first experience in Morocco and I'm still glad we chose this hotel.

Good location just 10 minute walk to private beach. Was clean Took awhile to get clean towels. At times had to ask for more toilet roll. Gym - sufficient equipment for basic workout. Had to be re located twice on arrival. Noise level in first room too loud. Next to night club. No rooms initially avaliable for our needs on arrival. Had to stop in room all together first night. Third room was alright. WiFi was not consistent. Alot of buffering. Signal varied throughout hotel, could be improved. Check out - as flight back home was in the evening, could have benefited from more time to have access to our rooms. No milk alternative options eg almond milk, oats milk, rice milk. Would have like cereal for breakfasts but unable to because no other milk options. Staff friendly did what they could to help.

The hotel was pleasant. I was put in a ground floor room, which had a balcony facing the childrens play area. Opposite a high wall which hid the next doors hotel, although it didnt hide their noise. The room was adequate, a large bed (single room), a sliding door wardrobe, and a chair. Bathroom was ok. there was a fault with the shower, which they fixed asap, hair dryer available. Basics, nothing exciting. the bed was HUGE! and rather on the hard side, which for some may have been a problem, but I was fine with it, slept like a dream most nights. Breakfasts were plentiful. Lots of fresh fruit and cereals. Eggs cooked fresh, bread was fresh, they had various breakfast meats which were nice, and also croissants etc, which sometimes were a little dry. tea was free flowing, as was coffee. NOTE:this is the only time it was free with meals Dinners were good, lots to choose from again. fish or meat with many different vegetables and salads, and many small cakes to try! Entertainment for us was a bit hit and miss. I think it was mainly directed to the youger kids for the most part, a snake charmer, who was ok, but couldnt hold a tune (lol) and a belly dancer, who I think was more interested in getting photos taken than actually doing a proper dance. other nights we were out so missed all the fun! but they had a karaoke night and a miss argana contest too. these usually ended by 11 p.m. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, where they have their own little private area. It was rather quiet when we went, but should imagine height if season would have been full. nice to relax and feel safe tho. Lots of dogs around, and cats. Sand looks nice, but if you go for a wander, beware of hidden rocks, and cigarett ends, as well as the odd dog poo. all in all it was a lovely week. I wouldnt call this hotel a 4 star, but it was pleasant enough, and the staff were brilliant, the lovely lady that tidied my room was adorable I wish I had got her name. although the bar staff were friendly, they were very slow with orders.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Argana in Agadir. The hotel offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with clean, comfortable rooms and great facilities. The location is very convenient, close to the beach and local attractions. What made my stay even more special was the outstanding service from the staff, especially Karima. She was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out and made me feel truly looked after. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Argana for anyone visiting Agadir. Great value, excellent service, and staff who genuinely care about their guests.

Our stay at this hotel in Morocco was a mix of positives and negatives. To start with the good: the restaurant offered a great range of food with different cuisines, and both the restaurant and bar staff were extremely polite and helpful. The pool area was very clean, and in general the entertainment was enjoyable. However, there were issues that spoiled what could have been a much higher-rated experience. Drinks were expensive and service at times was slow. More concerning was the behavior of one of the entertainers. He was overly flirtatious with a guest before a bingo game, and not surprisingly, she ended up winning the prize — which made the whole thing feel fixed and unprofessional. His behavior wasn’t just noticed by us either: two separate parties we befriended during our stay also mentioned, unprompted, that they felt he was far too “hands on” and inappropriate with them. If not for this odd and uncomfortable behavior, we would gladly have given more stars, as many aspects of the hotel — from the food to the friendly staff and clean facilities — were very enjoyable. Hopefully management takes this feedback seriously so that future guests can enjoy their stay without these issues. As for the maids, and the room cleanliness, - they were exceptional. Fantastic at what they do and truly deserve a lot of credit - we are soo so grateful for their hard work and efforts.

Just got back from a 7 day visit. The hotel is lovely and all the staff very helpful. We were in room 2130 and want to give a special shout out to our cleaner who was absolutely amazing. Overall a great stay but if u are wanting to visit pls be aware that it's very noisy with entertainment by the pool being loud and the 2 on site bars and onsite nightclub open til 2am. I mean very loud to the point u can't sleep til they have closed! Great if u like that kind of thing but exhausting if u don't. Also when u leave the hotel u will continually be approached by beggars in the street asking for money and even when u politely say no they will follow you and continue to ask. Avoid the Souk El Had as that is an awful place with the vendors inside grabbing ur arm to try and drag u into their stall and really pushing u to buy things. Def not recommended. We also saw so many sick and ill stray dogs and cats everywhere we went which was horrible. We went on an excursion for the camel ride at sunset and bbq and that was absolutely brilliant. Our guide Rasheed was a truly lovely and helpful guy and the food afterwards at the bbq was so good and so much of it. All in all an 8/10.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh and varied every day. Overall the hotel, rooms and dining area were clean. The pool and sun loungers are clean and there is enough for guests. A private beach on the ocean is 10 minutes from the hotel. Plenty of space and enough sun loungers. I'd like to point out that the staff is very friendly. The cleaning staff, receptionists, entertainers, and waiters all do their jobs well. I'd especially like to thank the entertainers for their patience and kindness. During my stay at the hotel, there were many guests with disabilities, and they had the same opportunity to swim in the pool, dine with their loved ones, and enjoy the evening entertainment as everyone else. Location is great as well - next to the hotel taxi service, small local shop with all needs, local park with fountains, palms and kids playground. The only thing I would like to improve is free drinks (non-alcoholic). It would be great if the hotel provided free water and tea during lunch and dinner.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city. The beach is a 10-minute walk. The hotel is generally in good condition. Our room was of a good size and had a partial Seaview due to how our block was situated to the next block. The safe in the room you had to pay for. Food in the restaurant was fine but can be a repetitive bit. You have to pay for drinks separately, but I really think the water should be free for dining, maybe limit 1 bottle between 2. Pool great, plenty of sunloungers. The staff are great, especially housekeeping. Few negative points, can be noisey from road traffic and nightclubs. The glazing on patio doors was pretty useless. For the price overall, I would say the Hotel is value for money

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Argana the staff are wonderful and are more than willing to help if needed . The Hotel it self is spotlessly clean and our room was comfortable and air conditioned which was a blessing. Breakfast is delicious and food at the pool bar is nice and inexpensive only little drawback for me was the beach is a nice walk but it is worth it Argana have their own private area and they have a couple of lovely men there throughout the day ensuring beds are available to Hotel guests . Over all we enjoyed ourselves and will return .

Stayed here on a Jet 2 package deal with wife and oldest daughter. In a nutshell I thought the hotel was decent enough, the room we had (a triple) was big enough and had a decent sized balcony which we were lucky enough to overlook the (slightly distant) sea from. The food was reasonable...as with many buffet style packages it can get a bit samey but they did their best to vary things and there was always something edible, even for my vegetarian daughter...though a "vegetable quiche" she ate actually contained meat. The staff were all helpful and very friendly, from the receptionists to the cleaners to especially the waiters. The evening entertainment was fine too for those into that sort of thing. There is parking outside for anyone bringing a car, and a free underground public car park on the opposite side of the road. But...and it is a big but for me....and this is no fault of the Argana...there is a nearby hotel / nightclub which plays very loud music way into the early hours and often during the day too. Without ear plugs to sleep at night this would have been a nightmare for me being a bit of a light sleeper. This was a deal-breaker for me so I won't be back personally. It's a real shame as everything else was fine.

Wonderful stay at Argana Hotel! Warm hospitality, tasty breakfast, clean rooms. The highlight of my stay was the Hammam experience. Overall, the spa gave me a truly memorable experience, and I would highly recommend it. 🌷

Room has basic needs met, beds clean with a firm mattress, 2 pillows with different firmness, bathroom has minimal stock of shower gel and soaps. Towels & toilet roll provided. Hairdryer supplied. Kettle & 2 small cups but no tea/coffee or spoons. Water as a general human need is only supplied on arrival or purchased at the bar or restaurant. Wardrobe door slides shut whilst using. Had to prop open whilst trying to hang up clothes as room on a slant. A few hangers provided. Plenty of drawer and cupboard space. Extra blanket and pillows available. Apartment door had to be slammed as the door latch not working correctly. Balcony door not safe as one side did not lock. Bar staff not table watching. Ordering drinks at mealtimes is hit & miss. You’re not given a bill and the staff are so busy that you have to pay them at the end of your meal. The restaurant is too small to facilitate the amount of guests at breakfast and dinner. Lunch is quite laid back and less busy due to not everyone has full board. Service slow and they seem to gather together to chat. Waiter service in the restaurant is much to be desired. Food service needs reorganising, tables left with plates and finished meals, waiters wandering around not really focussing on setting tables for new diners, people left waiting for drinks, cutlery and service. No set routine for waiters. Good selection of hot and cold food available. Pasta, rice and fresh salad. Fruit and deserts delicious. Food displays untidy and serving spoons left dirty or completely missing as been used for other food. A wipe down by the chefs could help the area remain a little tidier and more organised. Food area felt rushed as people just grabbing food with no thought of other guests. Reasonable turnover of fresh hot food brought out into the restaurant. Breakfast has fruit juice and a coffee machine. But no cups or glasses available. Cups did become available but are too small for a normal cup of coffee as the machine will overflow the small cup as the machine is not set up for small size. Entertainment crew were brilliant during the day. Poolside activities well organised. Slip and slide and aqua fit and ping pong tournament. Sun beds available but need to hire towels at reception for a small refundable deposit. Nightclub adjoining the front of the hotel. Open Saturday nights 9pm-6am. Noise and traffic associated with that. Door and windows need upgrading/soundproofing. Overall laid back atmosphere and service could do better. It’s a work in progress. Definitely not a 4* The pool needs a deep clean as the floor is literally green with algae or so it appears. We didn’t get in the pool as it looked so filthy. Also the detergent/slippery fluid used for the slip and slide is just washed into the pool during the activity. Staff seemed very friendly with the French quarter. But seemed less enthusiastic about help/service for English. This was mentioned by several guests throughout our visit. We just felt that the staff were overun and no direction from senior staff was being given. Staff seemed to not want to take orders from you around the bar area. We had to go to the bar to order. Which seems pointless as they are waiting staff. Not watching staff. Also after waiting and hour for them to come and take my payment for drinks. I decided to take the payment and receipt back to my room and pay in the morning. As I didn’t trust the money to be safe from others taking it. This resulted in being woken at 11:30pm. By waiting staff (that didn’t want to take my money whilst I was actually in the bar). And DEMANDING payment for drinks I had not paid for. I gave them the receipt with the payment wrapped inside. As I was prepared to pay it in the morning. I found this intrusion TOTALLY UNNECESSARY. As it was caused by THE STAFFS inability to do their job. And not me try to get free drinks. You will also find better quality food and drink in the Toro restaurant for 50% cheaper than the hotels food and drink prices.

Fantastic location—30mins from the airport and just a quick 10-minute taxi ride to the souk. The hotel itself is good for agadir, with friendly staff who made the stay enjoyable. While the buffet was on the smaller side, the food was tasty. The rooms could use an update and were quite dim in the evenings, especially with hallway lights often turned off, which made getting around a bit tricky. On a brighter note, the barbershop next door The Art of the Barber Shop is a hidden gem—super stylish and staffed by a genuinely great team. The GYM is the best one ever seen abroad! Top class for Morocco. Definitely worth a visit!

Just returned back from my second visit at this hotel & im already wanting to go back! Hotel is modern with a twist of Moroccan culture & designs, clean & bright. Staff were so welcoming & always had smiles on their faces. Big shout out to Oussama, Abdel, Amin & Ismail for making our stay unforgettable and fun! Great hotel for kids, families & friends. Evening entertainment was great whether it was a fire show, kareoke, magic show or the kids entertainment! The hotel is situated very close to shops, bars & restaurants and also has its own private section on the beach which is about an 8 minute walk away but you do pass lots of shops & cafes so definitely feels quicker! 10/10, if you’re thinking of booking… do it!

The total experience in Hotel Argana was amazing thanks to Karima at the reception who was able to attend to us in the Most pleasant manner to change our room to a more comfortable room. This made our stay fabulous as we could oversee the pool area and events the hotel had straight from our balcony. I would definitely recommend Hotel Argana moving forward.

The hotel is fine, clean but staff are rude and not very helpful. We're a family of 3, in the room there was one cup and glass, the beds and pillows were very hard, the shower was cold and no more than a dribble. The noise from the traffic on the main road could be heard all night making it very hard to sleep and you can hear every door slam and every foot step. We asked to be moved was told to come back the next day, went back and was offered a room with two single beds and bed settee, which we felt was not suitable for a teenage boy. Food is average, restaurant area small and gets very busy. The does not except card payments, cash only. Overall the stay we OK but will not be returning.

Nice room and services, staff friendly and helpful. We did tip the porter (Omar) and maid (Shwet) just to be sure! Omar, Shwet and Mohammed the waiter were stand-outs. Had entertainment by the pool every day. Toilet got blocked and was fixed immediate. Beware there are two nightclubs in the vacinity, taxis are very loud beeping as they tout for business. Sea view is worth it though for more than just the scenery, as we avoided facing the pool, which is worse I hear...or didn't! Food was hit and miss, be prepared to get extra refreshment out of the hotel unless money's no object, as only full board available. Check the food is cooked thoroughly, a little 'rare' sometimes for my constitution! Private Argana beach is a good 20 mins walk, but worth it if you don't want to fight for pool seats.

The hotel was a great experience overall. I booked with my family, for the first time in Morocco. We enjoyed every single bit of it. The hotel is extremely clean, not far from the beach and the central markets, shopping centre and souk al Had. We also have an indoor spa & beauty place called Arganine Spa which I booked & was satisfied with. The food there is a wide variety which changes each day, waiters and all staff & reception are very polite & friendly.

It was our first time in Morocco, compared to the European standard we have different expectations, 4 star hotel is 3 star hotel. Firstly we booked the room with garden view but the view was on a street and rubbish from hotel, there was unpleasant smell from the bathroom every day. We had booked full board but there is a few different restaurants in hotel and you have to pay separately, overpriced, otherwise you can't sit around the pool you have to buy something. I didn't like that every morning you have to "reserve" the pool chairs as people were getting up in the morning and placing towels on chairs around the pool otherwise there was no chance to relax around the pool, not enough chairs for everyone. We visited the hotel beach which is 10 minutes walk from hotel. The good things about the stay was food, you can always find something for yourself, children were happy with the choices. Entertainment for children around the pool everyday and in the evening as well. The staff from hotel very professional and friendly. On the last day we checked out at 11am but we could stay around the hotel until our evening flight ,which I really appreciated and we could book the taxi to get to the airport.

I visited Hotel Argana to receive the Hammam and spa service. It was a phenomenal experience! Amina did a great job with the hammam as I felt completely cleansed and then Fadwa just worked her magic by giving me an amazing 1 hour massage and made me feel rejuvenated! I am definitely planning to go and visit there again as it was such a great experience for me!

Review of Hotel Argana, Agadir We stayed here for a week (Saturday to Saturday) and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing overall. Transfer: The airport transfer provided by the hotel was terrifying. The driver was erratic, often straddling lanes on the motorway, ignoring speed limits and speed bumps, and with the check engine light clearly illuminated. The vehicle did not feel safe to travel in and certainly wasn’t what was described when booking. Hotel & Rooms: The hotel itself is dated and in need of serious maintenance. Our first room had a patio door that wouldn’t close properly and a loose bathroom door handle. We had booked a garden view room (as reviews warned against the poolside), yet were given a poolside room instead – the equivalent of trying to sleep in a nightclub, which is impossible with a 1-year-old. When we raised this with reception, we were told to come back later. On returning just before lunch, we were told we were “too late” and had to come back at 10am the following day. Another sleepless night. The next morning at 10am we were again told to come back at 12:30pm for a new room. Why this couldn’t be resolved the first night, or why our original booking wasn’t honoured, remains a mystery. Our second room brought new problems: a shower door that wouldn’t close (causing flooding unless we built a “dam” of towels), a cracked toilet seat, and despite being “further” from the pool, the noise was still intrusive. Location & Surroundings: Leaving the hotel is exhausting. From the moment you step outside you are constantly harassed – from people selling fake sunglasses and “genuine” goods, to children asking for water or money, and street sellers trying to put bracelets on you. The hotel advertises a private beach, but in reality it’s a 15–20 minute walk through constant hassle. Once there, the “private” section for Hotel Argana guests is even more run-down than the hotel itself. Agadir itself feels very much in the early stages of trying to be a tourist destination. Unfortunately, the dirty streets, the smells, and the unrelenting pressure from locals keep you trapped in your hotel. Even trips out left us bored, unsatisfied, and always on guard for the next scam or hassle. The souk was the only highlight, but even there you cannot stop for a moment without being surrounded. Positives: The hotel staff were generally nice and tried to be helpful, but the systemic issues with the hotel and the area outweighed their efforts. Conclusion: As a seasoned traveller, I would not recommend Morocco, and certainly not this hotel. Even on the flight home, we found ourselves swapping “war stories” with other holidaymakers whose experiences were just as bad, if not worse. Sadly, this was a holiday we were counting down to end rather than enjoying.

So my fair and honest opinion this is my 1st time in morocco and at the argana Hotel. We arrived late at night there was an issue with check-in, so asked to sit and wait wasn't long we was given our room. The room was ok. we weren't happy as we were on the ground floor with no balcony with a sitting area right outside our room, and it felt like we had no privacy. We asked for another room and was told to go back in the morning, and they will sort it ok thats fine. Went to reception was told room will be ready by 2pm put our luggage in the holding room. 2pm came our room wasn't ready asked to wait another half an hour ok so went back at 3pm room still not ready our tui rep was not helpful. As we wanted to get changed and go out, this was holding us back from doing what we wanted to do. I complained that it wasn't acceptable to keep us waiting and I wouldn't ha e minded if I was just told a later time in the 1st place. So we were allocated another room and told us it was a better room. Yes, with a view, but other than that, we had a flickering light in the bathroom. The toilet roll holder is missing from the wall, the bday was blocked. The draw handle was hanging off and it went from 2 single beds to sharing a bed with my son. The phone didn't work. I reported the light 3 times and still didn't get fixed. I had to ask maintenance myself to fix the light. No warm water off an evening so was cold showers. The shower flooded every time you used it. The towel rail was loose. The rooms are not the cleanest for a 4 star hotel. Breakfast there is not much choice in food it gets really busy from 9.30 you have to wait for glasses and plates long queues for anything that is being cooked omelettes and pancakes etc. If you go down at 10.20 there is nothing left and they don't refill so it's only whats left I crnt comment on lunch or dinner as we were bed and breakfast. The hotel lunch was ok. There isn't much choice to choose from and I found the drinks more expensive than the uk even though the shop next door you can buy 6 drinks for the price the hotel charges for 1 but they are ran by the same people from the hotel. Most of the staff are very friendly and the waitering staff are helpful and friendly 1 lady seems to work harder than the rest was always happy to serve and always guessed my order as we almost always order the same drinks unfortunately I didn't get her name but a massive thank you for your hospitality me and my son are greatful I found the reception staff rude, but maybe that's cause I complained when my room wasn't ready on time. And also on my departure day they was told my flight was delayed and didn't bother to pass the message on to me when I asked them to call me a taxi as my transport hadn't turned up just allowed me to get a taxi this is clearly no mistake as we was the only ones leaving at that time and to be told by the rep they was told twice to pass this information on. Pool area is clean we never struggled to get a bed even though people would put towels out from 8.30 am and not use them untill 10.30 11ish. The entertainment staff are very good and friendly will do anything to get you involved they are a fantastic bunch. The noise from the hotel next door is very loud of a night but it didn't stop me from sleeping The spa is very clean and the staff are friendly would recommend using. We also booked so trips with the hotel. The 4x4 safari day was fantastic would highly recommend. The horse riding I would not its basically in the middle of nowhere with nuffink to sea or look at. there are better options out there where you can ride on the beach Quad biking was also very good but my son loved it so much we booked again but with a different company outside of the hotel and again was 100 times better we road on the beach and in the desert so again just think before booking and we also booked crocparc either way I don't think you can go wrong. Overall we enjoyed our holiday cause I'm a believer its what you make of it but with a few minor things making me feel that some of the staff don't like English people I wouldn't return to this hotel some changes need to be made

Hotel was welcoming, quick check in, non of the passport photocopying. Diner is served 7-10pm, we had a late flight, therefore went to the snack bar and the food was excellent. You have to pay city tax, and for the safe. Breakfast and dinner had decent choice, although repetitive. Swimming pool is small but decent. Gym is excellent, Jet2 customers get it free otherwise 50dh. Walking distance to the beach, which leads to the Marina, Provate beach, find number 12 spot. Plenty of restaurants along the beach, nice dessert and coffee spots in the Marina. Taxi is fixed rate 50dh to Marina, but you can download indrive app. Take cash, exchange bureau available pretty much everywhere, or you can exchange in reception, the rate is not as good. Avoid hotel excursion, he tried to charge 400dh transport to Danialand, I paid 50dh using the app, 100dh at top end.download Get you guide app for excursions, very reliable and competetive. Avoid Paradise Valley, rude vendor there, spoiling his countries image, a country that is safe and beautiful. Danialand and quad biking are a must. The hotel is not the best I’ve stayed, but it’s the cheapest, so please look at it in relative terms. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

POSITIVES Argana was reasonably priced. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by reception staff. The gym staff, cleaning and catering staff were all very nice and lovely people. Fridge, kettle was provided (but no teabags or water or mugs). Room sizes were good. NEGATIVES We had 5 rooms and unfortunately the state of the hotel didnt live up to expectations. Door handles were broken, curtain hooks were not attached properly, the food gave a few of our people food poisoning, towels dirty, wobbly toilet seat, rooms had loud music coming from outside, sink would move at every touch. Shower was so small that the towels were above the toilet which i can guarantee they've fallen on or beside the toilet more than once. Our 5 rooms were spread out sparsely over 2 floors and opposite sides of the hotel, not sure if this could have been improved due to how busy the hotel was. wifi was terrible. Was not working especially in the evening and this had been raised 3 times, each time we were told a technician will be over, however it never happened, we felt fobbed off Expecting a reply from the quality manager saying "we remain committed to improving our services and facilities. Thank you for your comments". We would not reccommend this hotel unless this hotel gets some added investment and they start respecting their customers experience. A hotel makes or breaks a holiday and this hotel is one to avoid, avoid, avoid. For once, we were happy that a holiday stay had ended. Unfortunately.

book 3 night for this hotel I stayed only for 1 night instead of 3 nights because the rooms was not hygienic health safety and it was mouldy everywhere in the bathroom on the shower head block toilets, the electricity in the room was weak, some of the sockets dismantle poor Wi-Fi, no parking space ' poor breakfast including dinner ) " poor service and rudely behave staff. Staff entered our room without our any consent. Honesty I am very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The next morning I made a complaint to the hotel manager, that me and my family are not happy to stay at your hotel and would like a partly refund for the remaining nights soon as possible. The manager agreed to proceed with the refund on my card he mentioned it shall take up to 10 working days, now it's been nearly a month and still not received my refund. After chasing them up for the last few weeks, they have advise me to contact hotel management team head office for a refund.

Not a good hotel: Our rooms was not ready when we came. Got only one keycard per room. And even if was a family of five with two rooms, we got rooms at the same floor but so far apart that almost was possible. When try to sleep it was a lot of noises from both sides of the room. Traffic and entertainment, disco and people in the corridor. Breakfest beetween 9-10 was awfull. Too crowded so it was not possible to find places to sit aswell as always lack of glasses and forks and knives. Too many people at the same time. The Wifi was terrible. We noticed right away and told the resepction, and she had heard it berfore, I could tell, but did not help us at all. To advertise that hotel has wifi is rubbish. Wifi only worked by the pool or in the reception. Towels we rented for pool was worn and washed out. Everytime we changed them. Food in the bar tasted horrible and they covered the table with dirty tablecloths The gym was very nice, but you had to pay extra each time per person. SHould be included.

My experience was really good. No doubt the staffs are lovely, abdulrahman, hassan and the house keeping lady khadjah that cleaned room 2130 were all amazing. The front desk team were also very helpful. My family and I had a good time at the hotel and i have endorsed the hotel to friends. But i would implore the hotel management to do something about the WIFI as it was really slow and sometimes not even connecting. Asides that, it was a fantastic stay and we had a good time especially the meals.

The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and obliging. Rooms are a good size for a family of 4 and have a nice sized balcony. The air conditioning works well and isn’t too noisy. Housekeeping are great. The hotel is in a handy spot with not too long a walk to get to the beach or main attractions and there’s a lovely park across the road with a number of play parks in it for kids. We were dinner, bed and breakfast and I have to save meal times were a bit of a chore. The buffet area is quite cramped and there are a lot of people at the one time in the area making it difficult to get food. There is a good choice of food, with it constantly being replenished. Dinner is between 7 and 9 which is quite late for families with young children. My biggest drawback would be the constant level of noise around the hotel. The entertainment team around the pool work hard and provide different activities. The evening entertainment, which starts around 9.30pm, is incredibly loud and mixed with the music coming from the club behind the hotel is almost unbearable - especially the later it gets. The club goes on through the night with loads of noise as people come and go (right through until after 5 in the morning when the taxi/car horns start going). Overall, the hotel is a good base and is well situated for exploring Agadir. Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s just not to the place to stay if you like some quiet (especially through the night).

Everyone we came across was so polite friendly and helpful, weather was beautiful, room and food was also spot on!! Have already booked again for next year 😁 our first time in Morocco and cannot wait to return to The Hotel Argana, we had a fantastic time. A slight glitch on the first night as the aircon did not work but after reporting to the reception we were moved to another room the next day. We met lots of lovely people here and a big shout out to Abdul, Mohammed and Badil (apologies if misspelt) in the restaurant they made us feel so welcome as did all the staff. The food was excellent, lovely pool area and bar with a great choice. As for noise at night we had no issues and slept very well. Thank you for making this a truly amazing holiday 🙏🙏

Breakfast and dinner was decent with lots of options. The hotel had lots of activities going on during the day and night which were really good like the pool sports during the day and magic & fire show during the nights. It’s important to note that gym is not free for anyone like us who assumed it was included in our booking. You do however, get much more variety of equipment than those of other hotels.

We had an amazing stay in the hotel. Food was very good, varied and plentiful, the entertainment team was great and my daughter had a blast in a mini disco, as well as during the day entertainment (water polo, aqua aerobic). The location was very good - a beach is 10 minutes walk away with a private area with loungers and umbrellas, the cleaners do very good job, porters are very nice, all in all was amazing for the price and we will be back in October. The pool area is very nice, as is the bar. There is area for improvement in the restaurant as it is very busy and the staff does not manage to keep up with the service through no fault of their own, so maybe staggered meal times with time slots selected by guests would help to manage the numbers. Also it seems that the furniture could be changed for newer, and the waiters stations could have a big bin and shelved trolleys to discard the food and put plates away and all this could be hidden behind lovely morrocan dividers. It would help as otherwise the used plates and food are stashed on small tables and it makes for an unpleasant view and delays cleaning. The only other thing is the mattress, for me they were super hard, however my family did not mind, so maybe a topper available for those who need them? These things were minor however. All in all a great experience.

The stay was very good - we booked half board the choice for the buffet is crazy and so tasty. The menu changes every day and includes everything you can think of from juices to desserts to starters. The entertainment is really good - every evening there is a different show. The only downsides are you have to pay 2 dirhams to use the locker in the room which I’ve never seen in any other hotel and they don’t provide ‘free water’ during dinner which I feel is slightly inconsiderate. I would definitely recommend this hotel you will not be disappointed.

The hotel itself wasn't actually that bad, it's cleanliness was excellent (apart from the pool), most staff very polite, the room we stayed in was ok but very loud. Our room was facing the main road which by the way was extremely loud because of the traffic. The sound of passing cars wasn't the problem it was the beeping of their horns that was.. no exaggeration but at least 3 or 4 horn beeps every minute up until late. Then just gradual beeps all throughout the night, very busy road. The hotel is situated next to traffic lights too and as soon as the light changes from red everyone beeps. I'd recommend a room on the opposite side. Residents on our landing and the room above us very loud, kids running in hallways, furniture been drgged across the floor (our ceiling). Our ear plugs came in very good use and helped us sleep. There was rooms been renovated so during the day the noises of drills and banging were frequent. The pool, although it gets "cleaned" every morning the floor of the pool is very slimey, if you put goggles on and swin to the bottom there's debris everywhere I understand most of that cant be controlled because of the winds etc but the slime/grime not nice. Other than that it's decently sized. Plenty of sun loungers around not many people holding beds before 9-10am you'll always get a bed not matter the time of day. The entertainment team was good, talked to everyone and would help if you needed their assistance. One of the entertainment team took particular interest in the females and gave them alot of attention but boys will be boys huh. They have a few activities during the day at set times and obviously the night time entertainment too, we didn't sit out and watch the entertainment for 9 out of the 10 nights we stayed so I couldn't possibly comment. We chose not to stay and watch them mainly because of the prices at the bar.. if you drink alcohol make sure you have plenty of money to spend on it. The waiters don't like you just sitting there without drinks you will get "mucky looked" each time they pass you and you start to feel uncomfortable with that after a while. If your english I'd probably think twice about staying here, they absolutely would prefer if you were french, Spanish, Moroccan well any nationality but english really.. the day reception staff and the snack bar team (pool side) bring the place down (unless you are giving them lots of money) Our room key stopped working 4 times on the first 5 days and once again later on in the week. This was because apparently the key was next to a mobile phone.? Well they only told us this after the 3rd time but it still happened and didn't work when kept apart. Every time we had to approach the desk we never got greeted, not even with a friendly smile. In fact the only time they was happy smiley and talkative is when they took my momey when I booked a hammam and massage. The waiters at the snack bar were the same towards us. One of the afternoons i visited the snack bar for a drink i greeted the waiter/server at the bar with a smile and hello how are you and literally nothing in response, her fa e didn't move. I ordered my drink and she took my money and that was it. We only stayed for breakfast, the food was good. Plenty of savoury options, fruit was a good selection, hot drinks available from drinks machine, also fresh juice available. Eggs/omelettes are available, you just have to tell them what you want takes minutes until ready. Pancakes toppings there too. The room cleaner was brilliant, very friendly and approachable. From what i gather each floor has a designated cleaner the one we had on our floor was faultless. We left money amd other valuables on the bedside tables etc and nothing went missing ever. She did a excellent job everyday and we tipped her handsomely on our last day. Front door security were very pleasant, greeted you with every pass you made through the doors asked how you were etc they are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. The hotel location overall is good. The beach is a 10 minute walk which of course has a lot of restaurants which is handy! McDonald's literally across the road, souk is about a 30 minute walk, taxis are very easy to get as soon as you walk out of the hotel within a minute you'll find one. We wouldn't stay here again with the same team that currently work there. Improvements needed in hospitality 100%

We asked before we came for a quiet room due to the nightclub noise that was put on previous reviews because we have a toddler. Do not ask this before your arrival. You’ll get put at the back of the hotel near the busy road. We had paid for a superior room, don’t bother. They’re all the same. We asked to move out of room 123 which was very dated and the views were of delivery’s of sand and building materials. All times of day. See pics. We got moved to room 106 which was much better. More spacious and walking out onto the roof terrace bar. It was noisy still but we didn’t mind noise from things that make your holidays nice, like entertainment. Everything seemed to be much better until last nite. Obviously renovating a room above us.. hammer drilling all nite, hammering and dragging stuff about. Not good. No sleep at all. Drinks are extortionate. 2 draught beers were 180 dirhams from round the pool. The same bottles in Windsor bar are much cheaper which is strange.

I'm spending my vacation with my family at this hotel. The hotel standard is definitely a plus, the Wi-Fi is very fast, and there's a wide selection of food. The spa center does a great job — I feel like a new person. Good place for vacation and spend time with family and a lot od atractions.

Staff at desk tried to overcharge city tax so that set the tone really. Room was booked for 5 however it was a room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Television did not work . Sent the engineer at 10pm and he couldn’t fix the issue. No TV during the whole stay. Lights in bathroom didn’t work so they sent someone to install new bulbs at 9pm. Can hear the traffic at night even with windows closed. Breakfast was decent but always crowded.

I would say there was positives and negatives for me and my families stay here at Argana hotel. Starting with some positives, I would say the location is excellent, local shops, cafes and off licence right next to the hotel as well as taxi and the beach was only around 7-10 min walk. We found our room which was a junior suit to be nice and spacious. We had the extended balcony which was nice, it allowed our children to run around although the view was obstructed by a tent so we could not see the pool for example. The lobby area had pretty decor. We had the all inclusive and found a variety of food choices although make sure you get there early. Some negatives for the hotel to take on baord and improve in. Number 1 is the cleanliness, especially the cutlery and glassware in the hotel restaurant was very poor. The plates and glasses that came back out after use was dirty, sometimes greasy. Many people would look at the glasses to pick the cleanest one. Towels were very worn down and had a funny smell to them and the bathrooms could do with a upgrade especially the toilet. Very noisy in the night because of the live music. We had little children with us. It goes on till 11pm and sometimes beyond. Balcony floor was very dirty, if you walked out without shoes then your feet would turn black instantly. If the hotel can drastically improve on our negatives, we would happily return to this hotel if we came back to Agadir.

Had enough entertainment for family. Having the children play room for toddlers was great. The swimming area. Also having entertainment every night was a plus, as every night there was something different. Maybe the toddler swimming pool can be upgraded to a larger one. Was close to beach and restaurants. The buffet dinner was always so much to pick from.

Good location with lots of food places nearby. The carrefour is also a short distance away aswell as the shops. Beware when paying the local taxes as they tey to fob you off. We paid an extra £40 when this was noticed and we told the staff we were taken to management who then.tried to justify himself by giving us free massages in the hotel spa. Animation team good however very less females in the team at night time so my girls felt a little uneasy. Breakfast is usually crowded between 8.30 and 9.30am and isnt managed well you are left to look for a table yourself which is hard with kids as some people pull chairs to tables leaving no chairs at tables. Sometimes its very busy to the point where no cups or glasses are available.

This hotel offers a basic room with a pool. Food is varied but many dishes are very bland. The hotel pitches as an international standard but falls from this at many levels… We arrived with a family of 4. Our room was made up for 3 people so had to go and sort this. Not all pillows had pillowcases. We wanted to all sit on the balcony, but there were only 3 chairs… when we asked for another we were told that “it’s normal to have three” and we didn’t get one. The safe didn’t work. Room was small for a family. Beds were so hard that both my wife and I woke many times in the night to try to get comfortable. The nightclub next door is extremely noisy (and we are not very sensitive to noise) and finishes at 5am. Maids repeatedly took the towels away first thing in the morning, not replacing them until later and often we had to ask for the right number. Drinks at the bar are eyewateringly expensive, and they do not allow you to charge to the room nor to pay by card. International prices, but not international hotel standards. Food is varied but bland. Everywhere in Morocco you can get delicious fruit juice for breakfast… except here which was extremely disappointing. Shoddy service with a waiter demanding a tip on each sitting which made meals uncomfortable before we had finished. Pool area is nice and there were always enough sunbeds. Kids enjoyed the afternoon entertainment. The private beach area is a 15 min walk and was fine, but no ability to buy food/drinks there.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in mid- February. The hotel had been recommended by a friend. It suited our needs, but with a few touches could have been better. Due to our flight we arrived early, so could not check-in until 15.00. We had a wander around the hotel and then went for a walk around the area, before returning to the pool bar for a drink. As others have observed, it was more expensive than the UK for alcoholic drinks. We returned to reception at 15.00 and were quickly checked in. We had requested a quiet room overlooking the garden and were given room 1135. The design of the hotel meant we were zigging and zagging the corridors to get to our room. Upon entering the room we found a complimentary 1.5 ltr bottle of water provided. This was not repeated for the rest of our stay. The room had bedside cabinets, a TV, small fridge, desk and chair. There was a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table overlooking the gardens. The bathroom had sufficient towels and toiletries that were replaced daily. We had a couple of issues; a bulb in the bathroom didn´t work and there was no plug for the vanity basin. The bulb was quickly replaced, but we never got the plug. The room had heating/air-conditioning advertised. When the maintenance man came to change the bulb we asked about the air-con intimated that it didn´t work. The only English language channel was BBC world. The Wi-Fi didn´t work in the room, but was good in reception and the bars. We were half board and found the food was very good. The evening meals were themed. Moroccan, French, Italian and Spanish. There was a list of menu items outside the buffet restaurant. However, the actual selections seldom met up with this list. There was always something to eat (especially if you like seafood), and there was a very good salad range. Bottled water (1.5 ltr – 20 MD) was available for purchase as were other beverages. Breakfast again had a good range of options, but don´t expect an `English´ breakfast. There was an omlette chef, (who was very busy). Get there before 09.00 to get a table! The hotel had several bars. However, they charged different prices in them. The pool bar was about 20% more expensive than the indoor Windsor bar (like a cross between a pub and a gentleman´s club.) The hotel has several add -ons; a nightclub, Ofruits café and a small supermarket. We found a `Suprette´supermarket (turn left out of the hotel and walk 50 metres) selling 5 litre bottles of water for 13MD. We went to the souk, reputedly, the biggest in Morocco. It cost 30MD in a taxi each way from the hotel. There is a charge to use the toilets, so have some change available. The souk was divided into different areas; clothing, tech, food etc. and had a food hall area in the middle. We also visited the Kasbah. It´s a 30 minute walk to the cable car from the hotel and gives you good views of Agadir. The cost was 120MD each. The Kasbah was 90MD to go inside. We preferred to walk around the outside of the wall as far as you could. You get good views of the port and the marina. One day we walked along the corniche towards the Marina. There were plenty of souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. However, the area had a feeling of being half built with various structures in a state of disrepair. Morocco is very bureaucratic. As we were travelling with Ryanair we had printed our boarding cards off prior to departure. Even though we were only carrying under seat bags, we had to go to check in and get the boarding card stamped. Then passport control checked everything before the Gate staff at Ryanair. Another issue is the currency. You cannot get it outside of Morocco. We changed up 50€ at the airport just so we had some currency to pay for the bus into Agadir. After that we found that the Bureau de Change gave competitive rates. Credit cards are not widely accepted in Morocco. If you want cheaper alcohol try Uniprix (about a 10 minute walk away). We found the area to be very safe and had no problems going out of an evening, finding interesting cafes to visit. I hope you find this review useful.

Positives: This hotel is quite stunning with its artwork and architecture. It had many staircases and areas to explore, understandably with an authentic Moroccan influence. There is a swimming pool and an outside bar area which was very pleasant. The staff were wonderful, particularly Abdul, the restaurant manager, and Henen, our cleaning lady. The Moroccan people are very warm and friendly - all staff exceptional. Negatives: The negatives are the prices for drinks in the bar areas and their absolute reluctance to use debit or credit cards, it must be cash, with a very poor exchange rate. Many guests complained about this. We only used this outside facility once. The maintenance of the hotel was very poor, especially the bathroom areas. We were in a so-called deluxe room, but the bathroom was so small. The shower head constantly fell on the floor, and a maintenance worker came to fix it, but when having a shower, it was even worse; he had only put one screw in instead of two. Even when it stayed in its socket, it had a tendency to shoot up and point to the ceiling, squirting water all over the porcelain and the floor. We used all our towels to mop up after getting dry! Also, the flush mechanism constantly failed on the toilet. We put up with it for 5 nights until my husband slipped and fell heavily on the wet floor. After this we changed rooms, which was very small with a large bathroom. This time, the water leaked from the toilet cistern when using the toilet, so our feet were wet! This was Room 127. We didn't want to appear moaners, so we stayed put, we placed a bathmat around the toilet stand. A big negative for us was the concept of vegetarianism in the evening buffet restaurant. There were very little to no vegetarian options, but so much fish, meat and salads. We mostly ate salads with bread. After a week of a 10 day holiday, I asked Abdul, the restaurant manager, if I could please, possibly have a margarita pizza; he complied and, on another occasion, an omelette. I must, however, point out that the buffet breakfast was good for us with fried eggs or boiled eggs. We did eat a lot of eggs in the 10 days we were there. Despite all the foregoing, we did have a wonderful time because of the warm welcome we received and lovely exceptional staff - always smiling.

Great little stay with family and friends. I was apprehensive before travelling due to some reviews but fears were laid to rest early. I'll start with the reviews from others. The noise from the night club. Our room eas located right above the front of the club (room 4144) and could we hear it..yes! Did it stop me, my wife or 9 and 4 year old from sleeping no. The only occasion I feel this would be a problem is if you kept your patio doors open on an evening. Next, breakfast time. Was it busy whereby people were queuing for food and there was a shortage of cups/ glasses. Yes, which was mildly frustrating but a lot of the queues were for rhe fresh eggs/ omelettes being made or for coffees. However in a hotel that size it is fully expected especially during peak times of 8:30-10:30am. We normally went for breakfast around 7:30/ 8am and it was alot quieter! Onto the rest. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much to ask from checking in, room cleaning, table service to checking out. The food in the pool side restaurant was well priced (we only did bed and breakfast) and whilst the alcohol and soft drinks were pricier than bars on the promenade, it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The animation staff and activities for kids were brilliant and was a welcome restbite for parents during the day. The evening entertainment was mixed. Some were good others were so so. Overall a solid hotel that is currently modernising and renovating the rooms. Will be back!

Avoid this hotel! We checked out first thing the following morning after arrival because of multiple issues, even though we were booked for 5 days. The room was dirty, with a gross layer of dust/dirt on all flat surfaces. Goodbye any clean feet. There were hairs in the bathroom and the sink was blocked. The toilet was not even secured to the floor! Hotel Argana does not have air conditioning, Expedia have been made aware of this, however they are still advertising that it does. We were advised by multiple members of staff that the entire hotel does not have air con, simply heating only. Don’t let the control panel fool you, it will come up with an error code when trying to switch it on. The rooms are not soundproofed, you can hear everything going on outside, whether from the halls, to the rooms next door. The food leaves a lot to be desired, you can expect better from a cheap buffet giving you lukewarm food, barely passable as edible. We ended up just eating fruits for the 1 night we stayed. Breakfast the following morning was no better, with stale croissants and bread. This is not a 4 star hotel, how this rating was achieved is questionable. Avoid this hotel at all costs! We thought the negative reviews were just the anomalies, and chose to ignore. That was a mistake.

Great hotel will really friendly staff. Abdul in the restaurant was excellent and went above and beyond to look after us at lunch and dinner. Entertainment on every evening which was great but unfortunately our room was leading right out on to it and was a bit noisy but it was worth it for the lovely room. There was also a nightclub right beside us that was really loud until 2 am every night. Not the hotels fault though

We found the Reception staff helpful but check the local charges that you pay on arrival. The hotel is smartly decorated throughout with new furnishings on all floors apart from the second which still has the old doors and furniture. Virtually all of the rooms face the swimming pool which is attractive. The young guys manning the PA system usually have it at a reasonable volume but like to have it really loud at times. Our main issue was in the evenings when they have it very loud until 11pm. No chance of a quiet drink on your balcony or in your room. The food and restaurant are OK but can get quite crowded and noisy at peak evening or breakfast not helped by the same background music every day. We were on full board which was an excellent deal but went down to the beach area two evenings where there are 4 good restaurants and you can get a main course for two and bottle of wine for less that 40GBP. There is a desk in Reception where the guy will arrange trips. We did the half day city tour and one to the Medina which were both good.

Efficient check-in. Disappointing that we were overcharged for the hotel tax. Thankfully, having read previous reviews, we knew that the hotel does not accept cards - only cash: MAD, Euro or Sterling. Buffet breakfast was varied and fresh. Staff friendly and efficient. Room (1128) needs to be updatedand the hall leading to it needs a lick of paint on all the bedroom doors. Nail clippings and hair on balcony (not ours|!) Bathroom requires attention. The shower was not fixed to the wall securely but it did work well. The noise from the bar by the pool was very loud as was the nightclub next door (until the early hours) Good location and only a short walk to the beach, restaurants, cash machine and mini supermarkets.

Overall this was a very good stay considering the price we paid. Location is good, right on a main bus route, walking distance to the centre, and not far from the beach. Staff were all so friendly, they did all they could to help us with anything we needed. The rooms can be very noisy if near the nightclub or the pool entertainment, after a couple of bad nights we were moved to one away from both. The food is varied and plenty of it - although items (and crockery/cutlery) tended to run out later in the service period. Cleanliness was variable, the floor in the bedroom was not cleaned well (hence bring slippers), and the bathrooms need an overhaul.

Our one-week stay at Hotel Aragana was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Initially, we stayed in rooms 4102 and 4104, where we encountered an issue with an unpleasant odour in the bathroom. The staff promptly addressed this by relocating us to new rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel offers a varied culinary experience, with a different food theme each day and a wide range of options to choose from. While water is not included with lunch or dinner, guests are welcome to bring their own. Pool towels are available for hire at 100 dirhams, with the deposit refunded upon return. The location is convenient, with numerous taxis readily available. The fare to the souk is approximately 45-50 dirhams. There is also a mini-market nearby and familiar dining options, including Pizza Hut and McDonald’s. We also took advantage of the hotel’s hair salon and spa services, both of which provided excellent service. For families, there is a small play area for children. One consideration for families is the surrounding area, which can feel a bit rough at night, with some beggars around. In summary, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aragana and look forward to returning in the future.

Checking was meant to be in for 3pm however we didn’t get keys until 05:30pm… only one room ready… the AC in both weren’t working. Staff at reception were slow and did not show willingness to rectify the situation. In a crisis, such as loosing my sister-in-law, the hotel staff were no help and instead were causing my anxiety to increase by not letting us use their phone to locate her. However the cleaner Khadijah was AMAZING, she should be working at reception, she has people’s skills and was very lovely to us our entire stay. Would never stay again at this hotel.

Please be aware city tax is higher than what is stated when you book. Ended up paying £37 instead of the £29 quoted We booked a sea view room but ended up in a suite which was large and spacious. Food can be hit and miss. Mainly chicken meat fish and pastas but they did have something to eat for everyone. Mainly french and moroccan cuisine, no chips for kids except on one day out of 6 that we stayed. The service at the resturant is slow. Setting tables and cleaning up takes forever. Have to ask several times before you get a bottle of water. There is a McDonald's and pizza hut just accross the road and a variety of other resturants that we went to when food wasnt great. There is a nightclub on either side of the hotel but luckily we were on the quieter side of the hotel so wasnt a problem for us. Beach is a 10 min walk which is exclusive for the hotel which was good. Overall a good stay but rooms do need upgrading

The room was un desperate need of a refurb, the ventilation system sent all kinds of dust and particles into the room and caused my son an asthma attack which he had not had for over 10 years, we had to get an ambulance to hospital. In general, low quality, but well meaning friendly staff.

This is a super friendly hotel staff are very professional and the food is really good . The hotel is super clean . It has its own private beach which is free to use and lots of sunbeds by the pool.Entertainment day and evening . It can be very noisy at night from the surrounding nightclus and hotels and as this is a family hotel there are a lot of kids. Would recommend as a value for money.

Food in restaurant, breakfast and snack bar are terrible. Very poor food quality. Even basic items like tomatoes, coffee or cheese sandwiches are inedible. Services are extremely slow. Waiting time if you are lucky on a quite time could be at least 30 min. The establishment as a whole is falling apart. Shower leaking, towels old and discoloured. The Bed is however comfortable. Avoid the spa even if there are deals too good to be true! People come in and out the treatment area to speak with your masseuse while you are trying your hardest to relax.

If you had a poolside view, it was lovely watching people swimming and enjoying their holiday throughout the day, but at night the hotel put on ungodfully loud, obnoxious music/events that sounded like I was in a stadium watching a concert. there was no soundproofing and it was impossible to get to sleep. at times the staff were rude, leaving us with no towels to have a shower, towels would be supplied on request post-1500h The air conditioner barely cooled the room on hot days. the staff would only take cash as payment for the room despite the debit/credit card machine working. the food within the dining hall was at times unseasoned and inetable. I was significantly disappointed with the hotel as a whole, for the amount spent. staff despite being tipped quite well (on our behalf) were accusatory about not returning an ice bucket from the bar stating that they would not give us another one unless we proved that the original was returned. We did explain that the cleaning staff took the original ice bucket and asked them. the coffee shop attached to the hotel next door, whilst had great interpersonal service attempted to miss lead us with payment, a bill that cost 100 DHD, paid with a 200 DHD bill, receiving 50 as a return and then being caused that we didn't give the member of staff a 200 DHD note. I found the holiday experience exhausting and disappointing. there is room for improvement and I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to others travelling to Agadir.

We read mixed reviews before booking, so we were apprehensive for our stay. We’d emailed about airport transfers ,when we arrived there was no one there, had to sort our own taxi at midnight-complained at the desk, the problem was never resolved. they gave us the wrong room, we booked a double with a sea view& balcony, the room we were given was nothing like the photos on booking, it was outdated, had 3 single beds, (not much use for me and my husband) was by the busy road, air con didn’t work and half the lights worked, we went back to reception to complain who said they ‘were having problems with rooms tonight’ and to come back at breakfast for an ‘upgrade’. Also the door didn’t lock upon leaving the room, nothing was done about this. It was 1am at this point so we had an awful night sleep in a hot, noisy room. The next morning we were told we could have a ‘superior room’ -when in fact this is what we actually had booked, had to wait until 2pm for the room. hotel is undergoing construction work-there was hammering/banging/drilling around the pool/in the building all day until 9pm. Breakfast was good, lots of choice , but dinner was just okay. go outside the hotel for authentic Moroccan food. The staff at the pool bar were lovely but the cocktails weren’t made correctly. There is a night club right outside the hotel and depending on where you are in the hotel you can hear this into the night. there was a sign to say work was 11am -5pm, these times were not stuck to.

The staff were great the food was amazing the pool was lovely and it was close to the beach. BUT it was the noisiest place I have stayed in my life! There was lots of building works going on but that will finish soon. The major thing was the very noisy entertainment and pop music until about midnight each night and then on two of the nights the night clubs all around the hotel were at full volume until 3am. Not even noise cancelling headphones could stop the noise! And I had been given a 'quiet' room! The food really was brilliant and there was sunshine flooding in to the balcony the whole day but I could never stay here again simply because of the out of control noise.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had got such a good deal we were thinking the worst! The service and friendliness of all the staff was amazing. Our chambermaid Hananna was so approachable and helpful, and our room was always immaculate with wonderful towel art too. Both Sazah and Soufraine were such attentive waiters, as were they all. The food was very good often fresh food being cooked as you waited. There was building works going, as others have said, which was a little disruptive but staff tried so hard to minimise the disturbance and mess that it gave off at times. Think they are nearly finished now though. Thank you to the hotel for a wonderful stay

My second time in Argana, cant fault it. Breakfast is delicious and friendly staff at the breakfast service. Reception staff very friendly and upgraded my room for free, this was a very nice surprise and I instantly felt like a valued guest. The room service time was brilliant, I cant remember the lady’s name, but she always serviced the room to high standards. Will definitely stay again

We were exhausted after our flight and despite hotels.com saying check in from 2pm, we didn’t get room till 3.45pm after repeatedly asking. The hotel reception says check in is from 4pm. Noticed families sitting in reception daily awaiting checkin till 4pm. The hotel reception team was not very helpful, offering limited information- not sure if element of language barrier. All lights go off at night in hotel corridors and are on motion sensors which is not very nice when you step out if your room and are faced with darkness. Our room was not like the photos at all. It smelled musty. Toilet was not properly cleaned from last stay. Old wooden panel behind toilet covering a waste pipe which smelled. Room was cleaned but no new toilet roll or towels left. We had to constantly asked for these and often when we tried to call reception there was no answer. Housekeeping knock once and then just walk into room - which is not very nice from privacy point of view. Noise and music from local nightclub Pros - Shop just outside for snacks and water. Snack bar is good for sandwiches and drinks but would not buy evening meal from there. 10-12 minute walk to beach and have private beach on main agadir beach. Taxis outside. Good breakfast - omelettes great but would be nice to have bread slices to toast. Would not stay here again - not really worth the nightly price, 3 star hotel at best.

Total bait and switch on the first room. The balcony was inaccessible. Their idea of an ocean view was to put me up against an alleyway. No problem right? It’s just a simple, misunderstanding. Instead they gave me aTotal bait and switch on the 2nd room rm as well. Instead they gave me a pool view. I paid for the most expensive “superior Seaview“ room. All the staff at the counter became immediately perplexed. Huh, guys. You understand my English and French up until you realized you effed up. Stuck with a pool view at a “superior Seaview” room rates. Not pleased, because even then it wasn’t a pool view. It was the view of a rooftop of a restaurant and a discotheque with karaoke. Since they couldn’t do anything thrice over, I simply called Expedia. Thanks Expedia for the $25 credit. That takes care of the first night. How about the second night? What about the next day? Hotel Argana I will never go back, nor will I ever recommend. Expedia, you have a bit of work to do with the refund

The property is clearly in transition via some strategic renovations. This can be a little disruptive. The staff are unbelievably courteous, attentive and helpful - special mention to Rachida in taking good care of my surroundings for the whole time I was there. The food quality was below par but acceptable. The noise in the evening took some getting used to. The car park attendant was amazing despite very limited number of available spaces. Considering the price and all the positive aspects, this is a little I would return to in the future. I get the sense that it can only get better. Good work everyone.

The hotel was nice the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nice, dinner not always great but ok on most nights. Area was very noisy as there is a club right nextdoor. That was probably the biggest downside to the whole thing. The Beach is not too far away about 5/10 minute walk. Souk Al had is close by so good for shopping. Most of the people we met were friendly in the local shops and the surrounding area. I would stay at the Argana hotel again but the noise is very off-putting for me, not my scene.

Staff were great but hotel is not at the standard they deserve to be working in. Meal times are like a plague of locusts as the food disappears. You don’t get the room type you booked and tried to put us in a terrible room to start with (so bad they said they would change the next morning before we even seen it). Third room was okay but not what we booked.

The Argana is a lovely hotel. Staff very professional and friendly. The hotel is lovely the reception area is nicely designed around a riad. Food was great. Hotel clean and very nice to spend time around. Although not a resort hotel, you could quite happily spend most of your time just in the hotel. seemed well suited to families, nice friendly, fun and safe feel around the hotel. If you’re purely focused on the room then possibly not the best hotel. The room I had was good, but those with high expectations might be slightly disappointed. Negatives the WiFi is dreadful and the gym was ok but is an extra charge.

Although they showcase only the suits, when we checked in they placed us in the basic rooms, which are very poor and bad looking, definitely not 4*: no shower head, dirty, missing bulb, AC not working. After highlighting the issue we were upgraded to a family suit (like the ones in the picture) the following morning and those were very good: clean, newly furnished, equipped with all you need such as a nice bed, working AC and a fridge as well. Standard 4* requirements. Our stay was quite pleasant, The hotel is like a resort equipped with a decent restaurant, pool, shisha place and area full of shops and close to the beach. the only issue encountered was with the shuttle service which arrived 45 minutes, and almost missed our flight. this is not acceptable as it was booked 2 days in advance. Additionally, they were unable to provide alternative transport solutions as time passed and some staff members refusing to book a taxi on our behalf just to save money

V loud music at night from Next door pub, and its vvv loud , if you are the one who goes to bed early or have young kids not a place for you.Breakfast good options and tasty food . but needs better management, long queues , not enough cups or glasses have to wait around for them ALWAYS which i v annoying , queues for omelete or pancakes can take upto 30 minutes which is not ideal.

We have also enjoyed the daily breakfast and dinner, the food was delicious and made with care. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Argana for an enjoyable stay.

We made reservations through Hotels.com which stated check in at 2pm we arrived at 2:30pm and we were given the key to the room at 5pm and when went to the room the staff were about to enter it to clean it so basically the room wasn’t ready for us, we had to go back downstairs for another 45min, we had to go downstairs one more time to ask for towels and hand soap or even shampoo. The Air Conditioner wasn’t working and we were told that someone is working on it and it should work at night or in the morning (it didn’t work until the third day) and you can’t open the window because it’s super noisy outside, we didn’t even get an apology for that. Keep in mind that if you include dinner with your reservation drinks are not included. Also it’s difficult to find parking on their on site parking lot.

I didn't like the 12 "significant" (including unsafe) factors within the room, and the 3 "major" shortcomings pertaining to the general operations of the hotel. Not a hotel for individuals without children between the ages of 3 to 21! And, not a hotel for individuals who do not enjoy extremely loud hotel blasted music/noise "every night," nor a hotel suited for seniors and/or handicapped persons.

Comfortable and quiet room (once the entertainment finished), breakfast a bit manic at peak time...probably better to arrive late if you can't make thecearly shift. Good location for access to beach and town, pleasant staff. Quirky decor in the court yard where our room was included murals of tigers etc, but shame it was pitch black at night. The lights have been put on sensors that activate far too late. We thought we'd walked into a derelict building!

It was everything that we needed! Fantastic value for money. Went for 10 days full board with 2 kids. Food was great and good selection. Room was perfect and cleaned daily. Kids enjoyed activities: pool, basketball and table tennis. I enjoyed relax time. There is private beach within few minutes walk too. Hotel is in perfect location. Staff are very attentive. Something to note is hammam is not working, WiFi works very occasionally and don’t work in the room, there is a daily charge to use gym and extra charge to use spa and bar service is extremely slow. After first few days I gave up on complaining about this as it made no difference and chose to enjoy my holiday.

For the price I paid which included the buffet breakfast the hotel was very good. The pool is large so I can imagine that at busy times of the year there is space for lots of people. If you want a quieter room don't have one overlookong the pool because there is a nightclub (not the hotel's) behind and they play music until midnight. The other rooms are quiet.

I booked a suite with my family and had an 7 months old infant .When I turned up they gave me a tiny room with 3 beds. After complaining they kept me in a small room for first two nights and then moved me to a suite. The first room was really bad water leaking and smell of sewage, i complained to front desk and the lady was making excuses saying Expedia overbooked me and they are fully booked and cannot give me a another room. I spoke to the manager after waiting hours as every time i go over to speak the ladies at front desk make excuse that he is not available. As i was not budging they had no choice but to let me speak to him. I had to wait hours for the maintenance to come and fix hot water or toilet flush kept braking. Or fix the leaking. It was a terrible experience. No water in room and had to buy water from outside and carry it to the room which is other side of the hotel. Only 2 lifts and really poor condition it needs a huge improvement. Cleaning staff are very nice thats the only good thing about the hotel. Loud music coming from nearby hotel and going until 2am, my child was struggling to sleep. Best advice book somewhere else. Even with the bad reviews i still booked this hotel due to suite was available and they still managed to give me a tiny room and blame Expedia for overbooking. And refused to refund my first two nights money. breakfast and dinner and very good. They do not provide any water during meals which is absurd as Not everyone drinks alcohol
