Magnifique hôtel avec accueil au top. Ils m’ont accueilli tard et ont été aux petits soins. L’accompagnement a été fait jusque la chambre afin de me laisser de l’eau et valider ma satisfaction. Je conseille aux familles de s’y rendre.

Warm and friendly staff, especially at the reception, ready to help but the hotel was a disaster: no warm water, moths inside the room. Technical staff not able to have dialogue in English, also they do not communicate thru the reception staff. Good location.

Clean & comfortable room & beds. Bathroom had extra towels & a bathrobe like at home! Breakfast buffet had ample of choices. Front-desk & kitchen staff was extra kind to send hot water+salt in room for a nasty cold & sore throat (gargling) & even allowed to take steam inhalation in hotel's kitchen under supervision!

Excellent hotel, but the best thing about the hotel is the wonderful staff, especially Ms. Manal and Ms. Jihan (at the reception), who dealt with us with all honesty and their service was excellent. فندق ممتاز لكن افضل ما في الفندق هو طاقم العمل الرائع وخاصة الانسة منال والانسة جيهان ( في الاستقبال ) الذين تعاملوا معنا بكل صدق وخدمتهم ممتازة ،

It was a very nice and clean hotel and staff was very helpful, but had serious internet problem. Connecting internet inside my room was impossible, I had to sit at the lobby when i needed internet. Hotel is one hour by walking to the Fez medina and 15 minutes with Taxi.

On a week long trip from UK with friends visiting different cities in Morocco. Arrived here in Fes on day 4. This was the first hotel where reception were fully prepared for our arrival/check-in: we were assisted with parking, our luggage was taken from our vehicle straight to our rooms, our rooms were twin as requested, all on the same floor. Credit to Khadija & Noorudeen at reception. Access to the swimming pool was slightly extended for us as we arrived early evening before closing time. The rooms were very clean & comfortable - excellent comfy beds. Breakfast was wide ranging with delicious hot food items - our omelettes were cooked perfectly to order (I’m normally very picky about how my omelettes are made). All staff were courteous & attentive. Would stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Friendly reception. We initially had a room on floor 5, but almost immediately after we arrived in our room they called to say that there was some work going on. We did not find this a problem, but soon someone at the counter was there to guide us to a better room on the sixth floor, for which NO surcharge was charged. The hotel and rooms are immaculately maintained. Everything is there. Highly recommended!!

I’m writing this review during my stay as I can’t believe they call themselves a 5 star? Seriously? Room is dated like in the 60s filthy looking carpet the lamps were like in the 20s not all function Worst part is yet to come 1) room 522 was so cold.. that I had to ask for 2 heaters (yes they don’t have a heating system, I’ve only heard of a hotel without air con, this place is without heating) when you have 2 heaters plugged in the circuit board will trip. How amazing 2) shower pressures was super poor 3) water isn’t even hot enough to shower 4) asked for the engineering he STEPPED INTO THE BATHTUB WITH HIS SHOES ON wtf? 5) the lack of sockets is amazing 6) the hairdryer doesn’t work I don’t know what works here… I’m moving out tomorrow despite a 2 nights stay

I was so exited in the beginning as I saw the great commercial images of this hotel in the main booking page. But when I visit it actually it was a disaster they’re not providing water from the housekeeping side. They don’t even have a housekeeper at night. Plus the wifi is completely not functioning. There was only 1 man operating in this hotel as a technician and as a bagagiste and all… anyway I’m really disappointed by this kind of a service in a touristic place .

This hotel smells like cigarettes from the moment you walk in. There is NO SUCH THING AS A NON SMOKING FLOOR!!! Due to vents, you can smell the cigarettes everywhere. They have a small bar inside the hotel and people even smoke in there. It’s horrible. People were even smoking in the lobby right underneath a sign that said “no smoking”. It’s disgusting. Thank God I was only here for 2 days.

The front desk staff was helpful and professional. Key to room was a pain and usually worked after 5-6 tries. Spa was closed indefinitely so advertised spa services not available. Room was average and for most part was clean. Breakfast was not great because food was always cold and selections limited. Restaurant staff indifferent to customers. Another party in group sitting next to us on table asked for a coke after having to stand up and command the staff to come over. Do you think the guy would ask if anyone else at the table wanted something to drink with their buffet dinner? Not one peep just dumped her cola, which you purchase, and left. Not impressed and i am not coming back for another visit to this establishment.

This hotel was selected by the Julia tour company in Spain. It is old and shabby and unwelcoming. It claims 5* but isn't worth 3. There are so many negatives it's hard to know where to start. Sam's Bar is supposed to be open from 10 am to 11 pm. It wasn't open at all. Neither was the snack bar. The pool is uninspiring and there is no service there. The 8 person restaurant tables oblige persons to sit with strangers. The food is as dull as a college dining room - all buffet style. Only very indifferent Moroccan wine is available, no beer or cocktails. In our room (611) the hair drier was broken. Guests are harangued by street hawkers the moment they step outside the door. The area is drab and there is nowhere appealing to walk to. We had the distressing experience of witnessing a waitress being searched by a superior, on suspicion of mishandling money. Fortunately we were in a position to exonerate her, but the public humiliation of this poor woman was a disgrace. In summary - avoid this place. There must be better. Chris.

In Fes we booked the Ramada and frankly I expected more but I guess you have to settle with what you get. Good location, it offered a very nice breakfast. The fact that we had no hot water in the shower or that the hair dryer didn’t work were minor things

We came to this hotel by our guide’s recommendation. We arrived at dinner time and must say that the food was terrible and done not as it should be!! The rooms were almost all with no hot water in the bathroom the room hotel phones weren’t functioning! No Kettle or cups to make hot beverages! The receptionist are indifferent to all the problems i told her. No service attitude. The management of this hotel must get hold of the mediocre service that almost all the people we met told about this low level hotel!!! Great disappointment Definitely not recommend!

The hotel is a decent location. Not far from the train station and close to the streets with all the restaurants and shops. For a 5 stars, the hotel seems old and not well maintained. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only really bad point was the SPA: the staff there don't speak neither English, French or Spanish. And they are not always very professional. The Wifi is also a inconvenience as it's not work always correctly

The biggest problem of this place is that security are advised not to allow guests to bring food and drink to the room. Signs claim this is due to food safety issues but I doubt Morocco or Fes is such a dirty place that this is necessary. It rather sounds like they make up for the bargain prices by getting the lost revenue in through the back door. For any average hotel I would rate the place excellent and recommendable, but if they want to be a 5 star place they need to give the 5 star treatment, and they definitely fail there. Staff are friendly and mostly helpful, but they could do better. They seemed to be pretty disinterested unless it was about making money: Everything I asked directions for was just 'right at the petrol station' and nobody tried to make sure I knew where I was going. Maybe they were too busy keeping an eye on guests, making sure nobody would bring up drinks... Before bookng I read a review from a fellow traveller about this. So I did email the Ramada inquiring if this was true. The Hotel did not have the courtesy to reply. Eventually the price dropped to silly levels (making it viable to stay there and buy all food/drinks from them) so I booked anyways. Another thing was making phonecalls. I tried to ask what they charge, I was only told that calls are charged by impulses. After making the actual call it was way more expensive than estimated by the receptionist...

Nearly a month stay at Fes- what a Great City! This Hotel is very roomy, comfortable and is located just a mile from the Train station. The room service and door staff are very friendly and when you ask for towels or an ironing board, you get it within a couple of hours. The downsides are: 1- Second hand smoke coming to the rooms all through the night. Not easy to have a Window open for too long in December. Even though I stayed on the 6th floor, which is non-smoking floor, plenty of cigarette smoke made its way. Not sure if it was coming from the 5th floor level or from 1st through the 5th floor. Blocking the door bottom opening with a towel helped a bit. The Hotel should fix their HVAC system. 2- Loud music noise throughout the night-every night. Not sure why this has not been fixed after many other guests reported the same thing. There is a club on the premises that has very loud music all night. 3- No in-house Microwave or coffee maker. This should be a simple fix, soon I hope. 4- The ladies at checkout were not as professional as the men. Don't they realize we are possible repeat clients later on?

Hotel is well located and the rooms and beds are very comfortable and clean. It is consistent with what you would expect from a Ramada. Staff was nice and helpful. The downside is that the hotel has several restaurants with live music that was extremely loud and made sleeping impossible until it finally stopped well after midnight both nights we were there. Also, made the terrible mistake of getting a pedicure at the "spa" which was terrible and very unsanitary.

We were arriving late in Fes and wanted to stay at a place where a taxi could take you to the front door - in contrast to the maze in the medina. The hotel room was large, comfortable and clean and a touch of luxury! We stayed on level 6 which is a non-smoking floor, however we were still disturbed by smoke. They have a disco in the basement, very late in the evening we rang to find out when the boom boom boom would stop.......apparently it is 4am. I find it surprising that a hotel chain of this caliber is willing to jeopardise the sleep of its guests for a night club, particularly when we are on the top floor, I can't imagine what it would have been like on the lower floors

Hotel is clean & in good location. However, they intentionally turn off the air condition after 12 midnight to apparently save power? I complained to the front desk of the situation and A/C was fixed for the next day. However, the following night, the turned of the air & it was very uncomfortable to sleep in a 85 degree room. Hotel manager offered us a free night stay & breakfast to compensate for this issue.

The hotel is convenient to the railway station and an easy 30 min stroll to the medina (take the left fork at McDonald's). Restaurants near the hotel are sparse apart from expensive hotel restaurants, pizza and hamburger joints. Chicken Mac, as mentioned in Lonely Planet, was the best we could find. The thumping bass from the disco music downstairs until 3.30 am reaching our 5th floor room was annoying but I am a light sleeper. My wife had no such problems. The room was very clean and the bathroom modern. The king size bed was superb. 4 euros city tax per person per night is fine if it reaches those who most need it. 24 euros for three nights was a surprise 'hit'.

I payed a little more than usual to stay at Ramada Fes because I was a solo female traveler and wanted a place where I felt safe in a city I was unsure about. Ramada Fes made me feel safe and helped me get taxis to and from the airport at reasonable prices and they can help set up tours for you (I didn't use this service but it is available). The accommodations where very pleasant and comfortable. Again, it was a bit pricy for my taste, but definitely worth the peace of mind knowing I would be safe.

this modern hotel is a nice reprieve from the medina. you can walk to the palace in about 15 minutes and medina 20min if you are quick. along the way coffee houses line the street and are pack full of real local ppl, unlike the medina which is surreal and partly made up for the tourist. here you see the real life of the average resident. only complain was that the AC did not work and it was quite hot in the room. had to keep the windows open and every room was the same.

the hotel was good and i would go back if i was on a budget -- clean, large rooms and friendly staff. but, this is not a five star hotel. the water in the shower was lukewarm (at best) and the toiletries were just ok (combined shampoo + conditioner).

The hotel is nice and the price is good. The staff was not very friendly and didn't want to help me out (until I coaxed them for a while) when I was looking for tours. Finally, the unfriendly staff got me a fantastic private tour with a retired university Arabic professor. That made my day. He was great.

Loved the room, big, comfortable, clean and decorated nicely. The shower was hopeless and really let the room down. We could not get hot water and asked twice for osmeone to look at it. One maintnaence man came up and had a look and said he would be back in 5 minutes and we never saw him again. the next morning we told reception and they said maintanence would look at it, i said that they did last night & told her the story and she just said she would ahve someone look at it. The next shower was still luke warm and was for the entire 4 days. The shower tap is absolutely hopeless and so difficult to use. For a 5 star hotel this is really unacceptable. Also for a 5 star hotel the TV is ancient and not all the channels work properly. Our major concern was on check out the staff surprise you with a large bill for local taxes which is not mentioned at all on the website (hotels.com) Our receipt shows "PAID IN FULL "(including all taxes and fees)there is no mention of price per day anywhere on the site & we had a large disagreement with the staff on this issue. The hotel should have on the site the amount of money they charge for a local tax. The staff were quite rude and unresponsive on this matter and we were very disappointed with the outcome of this and it left a bad feeling with us about this hotel. I would only recommend this hotel if you can getl a really good price as it is not truly a 5 star and if you want good service think again.

Besides all the good things of the hotel,I was not happy with the food, especially the buffet breakfast was very limited for a the money charged. The rating for food overall is poor. The swiming pool presented on the website is misleading,it appears large in size whilst it is a almost the size of a baby pool. Thanks

Even though the price we paid on the Hotel.com website stated it is inclusive of rate and taxes, we were still charged a local tourism rate by the hotel in FES. we were charged 258 Dirhams per room extra (£20).

Inside the hotel is as advertised. However, as of this review, construction was going on to a building next door which starts around 7AM and included sledgehammers and loud saws. We could not sleep in.... Internet not free in the lobby, but it isn't expensive. Room service food was great, and not too expensive. Reception spoke great english. Cigarette smoking in the restaurants was rampant.

With the ramada you get what you pay for, obviously nice rooms, good location, very clean and suited me and my father for one night. What we did not get however was friendly staff. Especially when we checked in, the woman behind the desk was nothing but rude. Was fine but wouldn't say again

Lets put it straight. 5 stars in Morocco is no more than 3 stars in US. It is a fact. So if you go in with that expectation you'll be fine. I stayed at a few hotels and riads while in Morocco and this one was more or less OK. Yet, property is worn, stains in many places on carpets, walls and bed headboard. Bar on the lower level is for locals - lots of smoke (looks like everyone smokes Morocco), loud and there are quite a few ugly working girls. Bar upstairs is better, more for tourists. Restaurant food is bland and expensive (when you compare it to other restaurants outside of hotel). But again, by no means it's a not a 5 star hotel by American standards.
