Suurinta osaa vaatteista piti säilyttää matkalaukuissa. Henkareita oli vain muutama eli aivan liian vähän eikä pitkiä pukuja voinut ripustaa kaappiin, koska tila oli liian matala. Parveketta ei siivottu ollenkaan. Olisin arvostanut kampaus- ja meikkauspalvelua, koska osallistuimme hääjuhlaan.

Lovely comfortable hotel, fabulous buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner and bar food also really good value. Staff also really helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble from the housekeeping to the bar staff!

I had such a great time at the hotel bar thanks to Hassan and his team. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home. The drinks were excellent—well made, nicely presented, and reasonably priced for the setting. What really stood out was the service: friendly, attentive, and genuine without being overbearing. The music and lighting created just the right mood, perfect for winding down after a long day or meeting with friends. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town—highly recommend stopping by if you’re staying at the hotel or nearby.

I was shocked when I arrived at the hotel was greeted with strong unpleasant air freshener , the lobby can’t be of 5 star hotel then the great shock was the rooms no privacy for the bathroom it’s open to the sleeping area so be aware if your sharing a room, it so inconvenient for me and my friend, some rooms had a partial curtain to give small window of privacy our didn’t have this luxury. The breakfast was ok also not what would you expect from a 5 star hotel, it’s something between 2 to 3 stars. We were a large group some of our friends had stained sheets and others had problem with AC and one room suffered from ants.

We stayed here for 2 nights as our first stop in our travels in Morocco. We had a good experience although I wouldn’t call it a 5 star experience. The check-in was smooth once we got past the odd reception area (it looks temporary and pushed into a corner). All the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was smallish but well appointed and clean. Breakfast was good, the pool area is nice but quite shaded this time of year (might be different during different seasons) location is fine, although Casablanca itself doesn’t have a huge amount of attractions apart from the gorgeous mosque.

I stayed here with a friend and we both booked premium rooms with sea view. The reality? The “view” was nothing more than rooftops, antennas, and just a faint blue line far on the horizon. Calling this a sea view is very misleading. The rooms are fine in size and comfort, but poorly designed. The sink is placed in the middle of the room which looks stylish at first glance, but is highly impractical. Water splashes everywhere, even near the bed. Towels are not anywhere close to the shower, and there’s no convenient place to hang them, so stepping out of the shower turns the whole floor into a mess. My room also had a damp, musty smell. Check-in was extremely unprofessional. We dealt with Abir, who was shockingly rude and unhelpful. She gave us the room key with no explanation about the hotel, no details about breakfast (included in our rate), and no mention of the services available. She didn’t even bother with a polite greeting or show us where the elevators were. Instead, she argued with us, saying that since our booking was through an agency and already prepaid, we could not make any room charges and she never even asked for a credit card. Truly unacceptable service. The one bright spot was Ayoub in the restaurant. He is a true professional, multilingual, polite, attentive, and genuinely warm. People like him are what make a guest’s experience memorable. Overall, this hotel has serious issues to fix. Having stayed in other Barceló properties that were excellent, this one was a big disappointment. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

We booked a premium room with sea view, but what we actually got was a view of buildings, antennas, and just a thin blue line on the horizon. This is definitely not a sea view. The room itself was decent, but with some strange design choices: the sink is right in the middle of the room, fun idea, but not practical at all. Water splashes everywhere, even towards the bed. Towels are placed far from the shower, with no proper place to hang them, making it impossible not to leave the floor soaked. On top of that, the room smelled of humidity. Check-in was by far the worst part. There were two staff members, but we were “welcomed” by Abir, who was extremely rude and unpleasant. She simply handed over the key, said the room number, and nothing else: no information about the hotel, no breakfast times (which were included), no services explained, not even a “good afternoon” or a smile. She even argued with us, saying that since the booking was made through an agency and already paid, we couldn’t charge anything to the room and she didn’t even ask for a credit card. Zero professionalism, zero service. On the positive side, Ayoub at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic. He speaks several languages, has excellent presentation, knows how to serve properly, and above all is genuinely kind and attentive. Staff like him make a difference and create customer loyalty. Overall, this hotel has a lot to improve. It does not compare at all with other Barceló hotels I’ve stayed in, which were truly fantastic and very customer-oriented. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this one.

Cons: We booked two nights at Barcelo Anfa months in advanced, and upon arrival we were told they did not have a room for us to stay in the first night. They sent us to another hotel which was sub par. We made it late to our dinner reservations due to the set back of time. The manager did not comp nor discount the second nights stay. It was such a disappointment. I will not be booking there again upon my return to Casablanca.

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter as it was near the Medina. The hotel is very nice, quiet and offers great food. Several tour groups were staying at the same time. While the hotel is near the Medina; the location may have been ideal at one time, but it is not a great place anymore. We walked to a restaurant recommended by the front desk from the hotel to the Medina. It was a very stressful experience from the number of people on the street and lack of sidewalks. The Medina is old and smelly and not the Moroccan shopping experience it once was. The road is littered with trash and there are many abandoned buildings along the way. The items for sale are mostly of cheap quality. The front desk staff at the hotel was dismissive of concerns, it was difficult to secure a taxi on time for an early morning departure, even though the night manager confirmed the night before on the taxi's arrival. The next morning, they were very busy with (male) guests checking out and were not helpful in securing transportation.

Cons: The overall experience was disappointing. Guests are provided with only one bottle of water, and any additional requests are charged at 80 MAD, which feels excessive. The food quality was underwhelming; I specifically asked for honey and received a sugary, crystallized version that tasted far from authentic. Service throughout the stay was subpar. The valet parking was particularly frustrating—on several occasions, I was asked to park the car myself in awkward, poorly marked spots. There were no clear signs directing guests to the lifts, and when I finally received assistance, I was led to a service lift that was unpleasantly dirty and smelled bad.

We stayed in a Deluxe room which was an open concept, not walled off from bedroom, with a floating mirror that I have never seen before. Sink and shower are not separated from the sleep area so it was easy to be disturbed. Breakfast buffet was good and my wife enjoyed the pool. We did not enjoy the room design however we were only staying for one night.

Das Frühstück ist ausgesprochen vielfältig und gut, jedoch sehr teuer, wenn nicht Teil des Gesamtpackages. Das Personal war extrem professionell, kompetent und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, die offene Raumanordnung des Badezimmers ist ungewöhnlich und etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Tolle Lage des Hotels, da viele Punkte in der Stadt auch zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Im Großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel sehr empfehlenswert. Die Zimmerpreise sind im oberen Bereich angesiedelt.

Cons: Kamers waren schoon, echter word er niet gedweild. Hele tijd zwarte voeten van de vloer. Ook worden de Nespresso cups bewust niet bijgevuld. Rest wel. Koffie bij het zwembad 5 euro voor koud klein kopje koffie zijn geen normale prijzen. Voor de deur word je constant lastig gevallen door de taxi chauffeurs. Als ik een taxi nodig heb loop ik wel naar hun toe.

Great staff, very welcoming and helpful. Nice and decent room, clean and modern, Soukaina took great care of us. A safe neighborhood near most attractions, we walked to most places. Had dinner at the restaurant A++++ the food was amazing, especially the Harira soup and the delicious bread. We've spent time at the pool, we were very pleased with the servers Amine and his colleague Ayman at the pool's bar, and lounging. In normal rooms the toilet area is very small and the room door is so heavy that I needed assistance every time I go to my room In addition, on the last night of our stay there were ants in our beds. The hotel responsible explained later that it was a known issue for the rooms in the 3rd and 4th floor rooms

The outdoor pool was perfect for some downtime. Our kids were in the room next door and had a great time. Our room smelled a little mildewy likely due to the AC which if you have allergies, won’t be great. Our kid’s room was fine though. If we were alone, I would have requested to switch rooms. We only had one towel in our room which was odd for a “5 star” hotel but they brought more when we called housekeeping. For US standards, it was more like a 4 star hotel but still enjoyable.

Even though the staff was super friendly and tried to help, our stay could have been much better. The air conditioning wasn’t working on the first night, and we were told nothing could be done until the next day. We had to sleep with the window open, which was very uncomfortable. The next day, they gave us new rooms and free breakfast , but this came with the inconvenience of having to move all our things and they placed us on different floors, which wasn’t ideal as we were travelling together. It’s disappointing to have these kinds of issues, especially when you’re trying to relax on holiday. The staff were kind, but the experience overall was far from smooth.

This hotel must have bought it’s reviews for sure. It is clean and good looking, but the service is terrible and who wrote that the beds are comfortable must be used to sleeping on the streets, cause these beds are more a torturing then a place to rest. Guys at the door try to get you in their taxies, feels all off and like a rip off.. He got mad at me when I did not want to pay the absurd price ‘his driver’ asked me. Overall the lobby where you check in feels like checking in to prison, all the hallways between the rooms are very dark and the rooms small and smelling moldy. Checked out after 1 night, was supposed to stay longer but booked another hotel. Staying at Hyatt now, the welcome was such a difference already. This hotel is 3 star max.. Have been to a lot of hotels and this is, in all true honesty, ok but not more then just ok…

This is my second review of the restaurant at the Barcelo Anfa Casablanca in as many days, I am not one that writes many reviews, generally only when my expectations are exceeded or not met. Last night after a busy day touring the sights of Casablanca, we decided again to eat in the hotel restaurant, we noted that the restaurant was very busy and when offered a table we noted that there were not many other tables available. We sat down and almost immediately we were welcomed by the Executive Chef, Hicham El Heddani, we felt like VIPs, and we are certainly not VIPs, though it made a great impression on both of us. The service despite the restaurant being very busy was again exceptional, the food world class, we again had a great meal, great service from great staff, As we prepared to leave, the Executive Chef again approached us and asked did we enjoy the meal, the service and then provided us a complementary desert and coffee. This again made the meal and the experience first class. When staying at the Barcelo or even visiting Casablanca, do yourself a Favour and have a meal at the Barcelo Anfa Hotel Restautant.

Our first visit to Morocco. Arrived after travelling for 25 hours, we freshened up, decided to have an early dinner, and an early night, popped into the restaurant in the hotel. We are both in our late 70’s. Having never visited Morocco previously we decided to rely 100% on our waiter and have Moroccon food. A really good decision and a fantastic meal, the food was excellent, the wine perfect, the service, world class. A great dinning experience The staff exceptional.

J’avais oublié mon téléphone sur la terrasse ; un serveur l’a retrouvé et l’a immédiatement déposé à la réception, un vrai gage de professionnalisme et d’honnêteté. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt Security vor dem Hotel, was ein gewisses Gefühl von Sicherheit vermittelt. Im gesamten Hotel riecht es angenehm nach Lemongrass, sehr einladend! Das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend – frisch, vielfältig und lecker. Der Room-Service ist zwar etwas teuerer aber Extrems lecker und großzügig portioniert.
Cons: • Wir mussten beobachten, dass am Pool die benutzten Handtücher nach dem Verlassen der Liegen einfach zusammengelegt und scheinbar wiederverwendet wurden, ohne sie auszutauschen – sehr unhygienisch. • Die Umgebung des Hotels ist leider alles andere als sicher: Bereits am ersten Nachmittag wurden wir nur 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt ausgeraubt (Handy). • Abends sind viele Banden auf Motorrädern in der Gegend unterwegs, was zusätzlich ein mulmiges Gefühl erzeugt. • Die Putzfrau hat unser selbst gekauftes Wasser täglich weggelegt und stattdessen das überteuerte Hotelwasser (5€ für 0,3 Liter!) an die Stelle gestellt – vermutlich, um uns zum Konsum dessen zu verleiten. Direkt gegenüber kostet Wasser nur 15 Cent – ein klarer Versuch der Täuschung.

Was a lovely hotel, and in a great location for wandering around. Lovely furnishings and a fabulous buffet breakfast with delicious local dishes as well as western if you so desire.
Cons: As we were a group of friends travelling together, the shower situation is something to make note of. The walls of the shower were tranasparent, and even though there was a curtain to pull across, that only blocked half of the visibility, as the mirrored wall reflected the shower into the bedroom. Perhaps something that should have been mentioned. We were fine as a group of girlfriends, but if it was a work collegue it would have been very awkward. Other side note is the pool isn't heated. Ok for the locals, but at 17C, it was a little chilly for us.

A woman saw me looking at all the options for breakfast and asked what she could have made for me in the kitchen...eggs, omelets? Even though there were 8 to 9 tables of food options. The location is perfect to explore and walkable, safe. I parked my car on the premises and took the white private cabs when i wanted to got to a Hammam, etc (a must in Casablanca). The bell hop will not bargain for you so you have to be firm with your price. They will rip you off! The beds and pillows were fine. The pool was cold, so we couldnt use it. The view and bar from the pool were amazing.

The hotel lobby manager has a strong sense of superiority, and the service was average. At about 7:45 in the morning, a waiter came directly into the room while we were still sleeping, which frightened my children. Why didn't they even have the basic training of knocking on the door? There was no soup spoon at breakfast, and when I looked for the waiter, he was in the middle of a call. I had already spend nearly two weeks in Morocco, and this was the worst and most expensive hotel that I stayed in.

J’ai eu le plaisir de séjourner à l’hôtel Barceló Anfa à Casablanca et je tiens à souligner la qualité exceptionnelle de l’accueil et des services. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai eu la belle surprise d’être surclassée dans une magnifique suite de luxe. Arrivée en matinée après un long voyage, j’ai pu accéder à ma chambre sans attendre, ce qui m’a permis de me reposer rapidement. Le room service a été irréprochable tout au long de mon séjour. Un grand merci à Nabil, qui a été d’une grande attention dès l’atterrissage : il m’a contactée pour s’assurer de ma bonne arrivée et a parfaitement coordonné mon transfert vers l’hôtel. L’établissement est superbe, très bien situé, et offre un cadre agréable pour se détendre ou travailler dans d’excellentes conditions. Je recommande vivement.

Location good for short stay- not worth getting a balcony as the view is not that great. Front desk staff nice but lack knowledge and service. Sent us to 2 restaurants in the rain that were closed. Map of city so small no one could read it. No concierge service in Spain. WOW. Bed hard as rock. Room spotless and well kept and quiet. Restaurant overpriced. Bar and hotel did not honour 1/2 priced happy hour drinks as advertised on the TV in our room. It was their TV ad .

Modern and spacious rooms.
Cons: The experience I've had in this hotel did not match the expectations of a 5 star hotel 1. The shower door didn't close all the way through, so anytime I tried to take a shower, it would flood the room. I've reached out to reception and nobody came up to fix it for an entire day or the following day. When I ask again, the maintenance guy showed up, with him several times saying that the issue is resolved, which I discovered was not the case upon me checking it. Finally, he gave up and said he can't fix it, which led to me changing my room. 2. The new room was not cleaned upon my arrival. Since it was late, I didn't make a big deal and went straight to bed, hoping room service will clean it the next day 3. Despite me being gone for the entirety of the 2nd half of the day, upon my return in the evening, I have discovered that the room service still hasn't cleaned the room, despite even seeing me leaving the room while cleaning the room next door. 4. On the only day that I had a free morning and wanted to sleep in, the room service ignored the DND sign and kept banging on the door until I asked them to leave. 5. During breakfast, staff was inattentive and didn't clean up the extra plates from the table until we asked them to, walking past us on several occassions and ignoring empty plates and coffee cups. Additionally, for various other problems, my colleagues also changed the rooms on several occasions. Very dissapointed.

Cons: My recent stay at the Barceló Anfa Casablanca was disappointing and fell far short of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my experience. Firstly, I was informed that transport to the hotel would be either free or available at a flat rate via taxi. However, this turned out to be completely untrue. The next morning, the hotel offered me an expensive transfer service costing $80to90, which felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. This lack of transparency was frustrating and set a negative tone for my stay. The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is situated far from the city center and major attractions, making it inconvenient for exploring Casablanca. If you’re looking to be close to the action, this is not the place for you. The dining experience was equally underwhelming. The food at the hotel restaurant was of low quality, and I couldn’t even finish my meal. The overall rating for the restaurant is poor, and I would not recommend dining there. Additionally, the hotel is in need of updates. The decor and facilities feel outdated, and my room was not cleaned properly during my stay. This lack of attention to detail was unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, I regret choosing Barceló Anfa Casablanca for my stay. The misleading information about transport, poor location, subpar food, and lack of maintenance make it difficult to recommend. If I return to Casablanca, I will definitely stay elsewhere.

Cons: La prima sera arrivati mancava l'acqua, e non è ammissibile che non abbiano delle vasche di riserva, la stanza era fredda e l'aria condizionata quasi inesistente, eravamo 3 in camera ma tovaglie bagno solo per due persone e alla mia richiesta di avere un'altra tovaglie ho dovuto aspettare oltre 30 minuti. Dovevo cambiare gli euro in diram e alla reception mi hanno detto che potevo farlo loro e ho accettato ma giusto l'indomani ho scoperto che non hanno applicato il giusto tasso di cambio e mi hanno dato circa 10 euro in meno. Preferisco non continuare con ulteriori disagi.

Bon séjour dans cet hôtel aux standards Les prestations de restauration sont très bonnes mais à un prix assez élevés. Le personnel est agréable et professionnel. Les chambres sont propres et la literie confortables. L'hôtel est situé dans un endroit stratégique proche de la sublime mosquée hassen 2 qui est vrai plaisir que l'on peut contempler depuis sa chambre.

Cons: Hay acabados que no corresponden a un hotel de cinco estrellas: papel de empapelar hinchado, rodapies en mal estado en la ducha… Hubo un detalle en el pago que noe gustó: reservé el mismo día en que llegamos por un importe en euros y al hacer el checkin, me cobraron unos 7€ más de lo que había reservado. La cantidad no va a ninguna parte pero no es serio en un hotel así que se excusen en el cambio de la divisa si la reserva se hizo en el mismo día por un importe en euros y se abonó también en euros.

We were very happy with our stay. Despite arriving early we had to wait only a short time before our room was ready. The room was large, bright and comfortable with a view of the Hassan II Mosque. There are a number of inexpensive places to eat lunch and dinner only a few minutes walk from the hotel and the Mosque is an easy flat walk away. Breakfast was fabulous with a wide variety of choices and excellent coffee.

We asked them for the best way to get to Rick’s Café for dinner, and they recommended taking a private taxi for "security reasons." They arranged for a taxi parked near the hotel, and we were charged 200 dirhams for a round trip. Later, we learned that a petite taxi would have cost only 6-10 dirhams for the same journey. It was disheartening to feel misled by the hotel staff, especially when we trusted them to provide honest advice. Due to this experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Transparency and trust in the staff are essential, and unfortunately, this was not our experience.

Cons: Es ist schade , dass die hochwertigen Materialien nicht besser gepflegt werden. Wenn es in der Dusche Schimmelspuren gibt , muss das beseitigt werden.
