Place was way beyond of my expectations (even though they were high already looking at the pictures). Very warm, inviting and communicative staff - starting with a very kind welcome and some nice conversation over the tea and cookies, to answering all the questions, ability to extend check out time and fantastic breakfast which was provided. The facility in itself is superb. Very clean, quiet, with a nice asthetic modern vibe well woven with some traditional elements. A true oasis that contrasts with the lively streets which 5 min walk aways. Bed was great, shower abundant in pressure and warmth. Breakast on the rooftop with the sun raising also memorable. I very much appreciate the communication (Khalid was always available in person or on whatsapp to answer questions) and very good youtube clip to find the place the first time. Really well done guys, keep it like this and I will surely stop by again.

Cons: I cannot think of anything, this was a really good stay.

Erhielten am Morgen ein To Go Frühstück. Das war miserabel .

Schone Riad, heerlijke goede bedden.

The location is wonderful, don't get fooled by the area outside, which is specific to Marrakech/Morroco. The room is everything you need for a couple of days stay in Marrakech, slightly close to the important areas. The staff is very helpful and kind. The same is the host, Beata, who helped us with everything we need.

Cons: the rooms are not soundproofed, but it's a specific thing to those buildings. some people may find this annoying, but you can get used to it, it's not so bothering

Terrasse sehr schön und Frühstück gut - absolute Empfehlung, top Interieur 🫶🏼

Central location to explore Marrakesh and Riad Managers Sadik and Khalid both were amazing. We enjoyed breakfast on the roof terrace, tons of information provided by host and they were prompt to respond on mobile and in Riad as well. Very clean and beautiful place.

Cons: It’s 2-3 mins walk from the main street so small walk with luggage but I guess that’s with most of Riads in central location.

The decorations, breakfast and vibe of the Riad were amazing. Rooms smells so nice, and soft jazz music plays during the day and little harmless cats sit outside the entrance of the quiet neighborhood. Very lovely staff, especially one young man who I can’t remember his name sorry! He took our bags in, we were able to check in early and he just had a calm voice. If this was located more central with strong AC - I would come back here again in a heartbeat!

Cons: The air conditioner was extremely weak in our room which was surprising. We were really hot and uncomfortable trying to stay cool to fall asleep. Also the shower curtain wasn’t stable which scared me when it fell but it was fixed!

Our stay at Riad Beata was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the incredibly hospitable staff, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. The riad itself is a charming oasis, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Our room was cozy and offered a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan decor and modern comfort. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast on the terrace each morning, where the serene ambiance and delicious food set a wonderful tone for the day. The location is perfect, nestled within easy reach of the bustling Medina and vibrant souks, yet providing a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. Special thanks to the staff , whose attentiveness and local insights made our trip even more enjoyable. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly sets Riad Beata apart. Exotic small riad with friendly staff and lovely rooftop terrace.

Cons: Our room was much small than expected, it basically just fit the bed and a suitcase. The small window opened only to the interior courtyard so it was a little dark. Location was marked correctly on google maps but the route to get there was incorrect, the alleyways are so small and complicated in this part of the medina, so we did a little trial and error to find it.

The Riad is really close to all of the points for pick up if you book the tours. It’s also within walking distance to the square but tucked away enough that you don’t hear the bustling from the streets. Garmes was amazing he was honestly so kind and always there to help. He walked me to my meeting point for my first excursion because I wasn’t too sure about the way to walk through the medina. But he stopped what he was doing to escort me there. He also met me for my drop off so that he could take me to the Riad. Kindest man he was always really quick with the service and breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The personnel are ridiculously kind. They would always help out, with anything, and always with a smile. Sifal Islam, Simo, both just amazing dudes. Oh, that, and the location. The location is sublime. I could hardly imagine a better location.

Cons: No major issues. Shower head would fall out of its holder, so the shower could use some fixing I guess. Breakfast, as sublime as it was, would have been even better with the occasional piece of fruit. That's about it.

Great breakfast and a wonderful host Simo, who very welcoming and went extra distance by leaving pancakes, banana, bottle water the evening before my marathon race. Excellent and friendly service.

Cons: Finding the Riad on first day can be a challenge, however area fully policed due to the neighbouring palace so very safe and once you know the way, very safe and easy.

Terence was sunny .

Cons: Very deceiving based on the picture’s portrayed online. The room was like a shoebox .Room wasn’t cleaned , filthy shower curtain . Bed was so uncomfortable I complained after the first night . Completely disregarded despite explaining I needed a comfortable bed due to having a kidney removed last year . Manager told me to contact booking.com and the owner which I did . She completely ignored me . When I went back to the manager he told me ‘she is not interested’.Hot water was off for 2 days after I reported it was cold . No apology or explanation then banging for 2 days including at night time . WiFi and lights were off and on due to electrics being turned off . The engineer didn’t seem to know what he was doing . Asked twice for our room to be cleaned . Wasn’t mopped or barely touched. Had to constantly ask for toilet roll and clean towels . We stayed for 10 days our stay was ruined .

Good Location to visit Bahia Palace or the Square and the Souks, but very far from taxi stand so always a 5 min walk needed. Good Security all around so always safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent.

Cons: Room was a bit cold and a bit small. No table or cupboard for stuff. No additional blankets available in the room.

Very warm welcome when arriving at this Riad. It is small, but clean and comfortable, with a nice terrace. Also nice breakfast.

Cons: Be aware that at least some of the rooms do not have windows to the outside. Also that it can be a little bit tricky to find in the Medina.

The riad is beautifully decorated. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is ok. The staff was friendly and the communication was excellent.

Cons: Wider blackout curtains should be placed in the room because even with curtains closed, the room is partially visible. Moreover, it was quite noisy (plumbing from other rooms, people entering the riad late at night etc). I think these problems occur only in the room I was in (on the ground floor).

Really lovely guesthouse, relaxing vibe, comfortable furnishings. Very well thought out and managed. Discreet but attentive assistance from the lovely Saif. Very peaceful and safe location but only a quick 15 minute walk to the middle of Jaa'ma Fna square.

Cons: All was good. The breakfast could have had a few fruits but that's a minor thing.

Riad Beata is the perfect place to stay during your visit to Marrakesh and a good base to explore the surroundings, such as mountains, coast or dessert. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable, and on many occasions I turned to them for advice, from organising the tours, advices for restaurants to practicalities such as arranging the Morocco SIM card. Riad is like a jewel in itself with perfect eye for details which makes it a luxury modern Riad with authentic Moroccan atmosphere. The owner likes to support local artist and decorates the place with local art and products. I especially loved the roof top terrace and enjoyed their tasty breakfast every morning there . I cant wait to go back!

The riad is lovely, with a calm atmosphere and the rooms are very clean and decorated with taste. The breakfasts and dinners (cooked there by the staff!) on the rooftop are a must. Its location is pretty good, only 10 minutes away from Jemaa El-Fna and from beautiful landmarks such as Palais Bahia, Palais el Badii, Saadian Tombs… But still in a quiet neighbourhood therefore you'll sleep like a baby at night. Staff is very professional, helpful and kind. Special mention to Garmes who manages to be everywhere at the same time somehow, always quick to respond and to help you with your requests.

Great location, staff was exceptional, Sifalislam is a great guy that will make your stay comfortable and will provide suggestions for things to visit inside the city as well as trips in Sahara!! Trust him, he cares about having the best experience possible. They have some great tours, the best is Merzouga, he will contact you immediately after your reservation to inform you about them. We gained some money having booked the trip through him and not online. All in all a great experience!

Nicely decorated place, great ambiance, attention to details, and most of all the super staff and host Mr Seif, who is the most friendly and welcoming manager ever. Clean rooms, breakfast was nice, reception too with welcome tea and sweets.

Cons: Everything was good, only thing i would miss in the room is a small table and chair (if you happen to be on a working trip, that could be handy).

Really nice Riad in the Medina. Little bit tricky to find but once you’re in it’s a small paradise. Well organized, nice breakfast and roof terrace. Options to book tours for a fair amount as well, didn’t do them due to short stay but I would book it there. And if you have any problem it’s going to be fixed asap. Garmes the guy who runs the place is really helpful with everything.

Great stay thanks to Saifalislam! The Riad is really nicely decorated and clean. Really nice air con for the hot weather. The breakfast was amazing each morning. The location is great it’s close to the palace so very safe lots of palace guards on the street all day and night so always felt really safe. A quick walk to the main square and all the sights are walking distance. Saifalislam was extremely helpful, he organised the airport transfers and met me on the street to help finding the Riad and with luggage. He have lots of great advice and tips on where to visit and was always happy to help. He couldn’t have done more and made it a great stay.

The stay was 10 out of 10 all in all. We were very well received during the 6 days we were there. We were very well assisted by Hassan (a big thank you my friend). We went with a group of friends, however a friend was very sick and and we were very well assisted by both Hassan and the lady who prepared the meals for us (I don't remember the name now). Food note 10, cleanliness note 10, hospitality note 10, everything was 👌🏽super recommend.

Hassan was incredible! He really made our experience amazing and helped with planning anything or any questions we had. Really recommend staying here just because of him but the place itself was lovely also!

Cons: the room we stayed in the curtains needed to be a little longer as from the outside you can see inside the room a bit so for privacy reasons they need to be lengthened and it’s also a little noisy and the lights come on during the night which can wake you up so if you have ear plugs and an eye mask you’ll be fine!

Riad Beata is in the perfect location - it’s a short walk from most sites in Marrakech - but in a very quiet spot that is a good respite from the liveliness of the city. The streets to get to the riad feel safe as well - as a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable walking around the area. The riad itself is nice, with decor that makes it feel airier and brighter than riads can often feel by design. Clean house, comfortable bed, comfortably warm (was cold outside at night when I was there). What really made the stay five stars though was the hospitality of the host Abdul. He’s so pleasant and friendly, and was always available to help. He recommended sites to see and restaurants to visit. He told me what my taxi to the riad should cost (since drivers will quote you much higher at the airport). He also warned me of common scams and how to handle them, which was very helpful in a city with a constant barrage of scams (and sure enough, people tried to run those scams on me while I was out and about but I was prepared!). Riad Beata is the perfect spot in Marrakech for first time travelers to Morocco and for solo female travelers. I would absolutely return. Thank you for everything Abdul!

Had a lovely stay at this cosy riad! - it’s walking distance to all attractions you’d think to go to and if you don’t feel like walking then it’s a short taxi journey. - The staff were lovely, attentive and were quick to help with any query - The breakfast was absolutely delicious and changed for us daily, If you can, I’d recommend having the breakfast daily

Cons: - Wasn’t a big deal but our shower had one part that would spray water out of the shower so we’d have a slightly wet floor and surface once you left the shower

Abdul and Beata were exceptional hosts, they genuinely could not do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable, from a very good list of recommended local attractions, restaurants and bars as well as booking excursions and making restaurant and hammam reservations for us should we ask. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious, our hosts were also very flexible with what time we would like it served. The room we stayed in was well decorated, tasteful and was very clean with comfy beds. The Riad itself was stunning, with the roof terrace being especially beautiful. The location is very good for exploring the Medina and old town. I will 100% be recommending anyone I know who is visiting Marrakech to stay here and will be staying myself should I return to the city.

Cons: Only nitpick was that the room was slightly smaller than I expected however it was perfectly comfortable for 2 friends with the twin bed setup.

it was nicely decorated and clean the owner was accommodating if it weren’t for a few things below I think it could rate higher. we had higher expectations sadly we were let down.

Cons: the alleyway to the Riad was not pleasant. each morning and evening we had to step over fresh and old cat poop and urine. there is rubbish bags squashed and smeared over the path just before the door entrance. I get the feeling that the Riad do not care to much for the guests opinion on entering the accommodation as this was really really unpleasant for us. Our towels were not changed during our three day stay so be aware if that’s what you usually expect. also the breakfast on our second day was not good at all. I think it’s better to not get the breakfast and do your own thing.

I recently stayed 4 weeks at Riad Beata in connection with a business trip to Marrakech - and after only a few days, I soon realised that this was truly a "home away from home". Riad Beata is a small riad that is very well situated in the Sidi Mimoun area of Marrakech, which is a very cosy and secure part of the city. The interior of the riad is nice and eclectic - but the real gem is the two people working there. The manager can literally fix everything you need. He is always in reach and you can call him night and day. Always smiling, laughing and ready for a conversation over a cup of coffee. Great service. And the real big treat is the young woman, Noura. She is the epitome of helpfulness and service. She cooks what you want. She can do your laundry - and you get your clothes back clean, ironed and ready to wear. She is always laughing, in a good mood and super flexible. Everything is possible. So five stars to Riad Beata for being able to provide the elusive homely feeling - I had a super stay.
