La struttura è stupenda ed anche le suite. Bellissima la colazione, personale molto gentile.
Cons: Nella suite mancavano i piatti e le posate e per poter accedere alla terrazza anche se si è ospiti e’ richiesta la consumazione con prezzi alti per essere in Thailandia. Sicuramente è dovuto al fatto che siano stati il set dell iconico film ma avere dei prezzi più alti di un locale europeo non è proprio il massimo (più di 30€ per un drink e due noccioline).

La colazione a buffet è una delle più complete e variegate mai provate, con opzioni che spaziano dalla cucina locale a quella internazionale, tutte di altissima qualità. I Punti di Forza Rooftop Bar & Ristoranti: Salire al Sirocco e al Sky Bar la sera è un'emozione unica. L'atmosfera è magica e il panorama a 360 gradi su Bangkok lascia letteralmente senza fiato. Cons: To be honest the breakfast was not as expected. A saw good reviews, but I felt it was okayish, but not 5*. It was very dark, a bit messy and it smelled a bit off. Rooms (we had the 3 bedroom suite) were a bit dated. Not dirty at all, but just oldfashion. Therefore I would not book tis again. The lobby and restaurants were nice and modern/chique. But the rooms, breakfast and swimmingpool were not. Swimmingpool; size oke, but not very cosy/pleasant to sit. Diner: We booked Sirocco (food and drinks were excellent) and luckily the weather became better, but we started indoors in the dome, which was really not a nice place. Bar: Pink Bar was nice but super expansive.

Die Zimmer waren schön groß und geräumig. Durch Hangover ist dieses Gebäude kult und ich bin mir sicher, dass dieses Hotel vor 10 jahren das Maß aller Dinge war in Bangkok.
Cons: Ich fand die Lounge nicht gut. Das Essen war sehr fettig und ständig aus. Das Hotel braucht eine Modernisierung. Ebenso ist der Eingangsbereich von der Straß echt grauslig. Da kann aber das Hotel nichts dafür weil die Lobby und der hintere Eingang sind ja gut.

This hotel isn’t new. But is absolutely amazing! Everything is perfect. View is breathtaking from the rooms. We had such a great suite huge with comfortable bed and everything needed inside. Breakfast is just another level! This was so tasty experience and you can chose there so many options to eat. Spicy mango salad made fresh in front of you is delicious 😋 sky bar is simply amazing, the music, drinks and food. I will not even mention that view from sky bar is not possible to describe by words. Location is perfect, it was so easy to get to the points to visit. we will be back soon to the hotel. Service is just great!

Wij waren wat aan de vroege kant in het hotel en onze kamers waren nog niet klaar. Ongevraagd kregen we een optie voorgeschoteld voor een verblijf met twee slaapkamers in plaats van twee enkele slaapkamers. We mochten deze op voorhand bekijken en deze was perfect! Op de 53e verdieping met schitterend uitzicht. We hebben dit aanbod geaccepteerd. Hele ruime kamer dus met views aan meerdere kanten op de stad. Onze kinderen waren heel blij! Ontbijt exorbitant, personeel top, zwembad ruim opgezet. Enig puntje waar rekening mee gehouden moet worden is de locatie. Daar moet je wel goed over nadenken, waarom je in dit deel van de stad zou willen zitten. BTS is wel een stukje lopen.

L hotel è molto vecchio, ci trascorro mediamente 10/15 giorni all anno perché è comodo per lavoro ma non è una struttura a 5* La reception è lenta, impiegano molto per registrati e darti una stanza anche se continui a tornare nello stesso posto ripetutamente Quando arrivi all ingresso c’è forte puzza di fogna. Siamo rimasti coinvolti in una esercitazione anti incendio senza essere avvisati in modo corretto. C era solo un foglio in mezzo a molti altri con varie pubblicità che parlava di una non meglio specificata esercitazione anti incendio. Il risultato è stato le forti sirene non permettevano di stare in camera così abbiamo dovuto scendere a piedi 25 piani in una scala anti incendio sporchissima e caldissima. Gli ascensori sono stati disattivati per 4 ore e questo ha comportato l impossibilità di rientrare in stanza. Non posso immaginare un disabile o un anziano in questa situazione. Infine, dopo 15 giorni trascorsi qui abbiamo richiesto una ulteriore prenotazione di 2 notti a distanza di altri 15 giorni chiedendo di avere la stessa stanza o una simile. Hanno preteso un pagamento anticipato ma non ci hanno garantito nessuna stanza. Mi spiego meglio : la stanza, o una stanza simile alla nostra era disponibile, ci hanno chiesto di prepararla e poi ci hanno detto che la avremo solo se rimarrà disponibile. Come se avessimo comprato un bene di cui il venditore decide l prezzo e poi nn è detto che lo si possa avere perché magari nel frattempo lo rivende a un altro. Non ha senso. Nota molto positiva: persona delle pulizie bravissima attenta e onesta. Per il resto hotel in decadenza, se potete evitatelo.

I have stayed at Lebua several times over the past 15 years, and unfortunately this will be my last visit. The hotel has failed to keep up with the standards expected of a true 5-star property. I stayed in a Family Suite, but for the same price you can find many newer and far better hotels in Bangkok. The rooms are clearly showing their age and are long overdue for a complete renovation. It feels like the hotel is still living off its glory days rather than investing in its future. As for the rooftop bar… the views are spectacular, but the prices are even more breathtaking. Charging up to 3,000 THB (around $100) for a cocktail is simply absurd. Bangkok is full of world-class rooftop bars serving excellent drinks at reasonable prices, so unless you’ve always dreamed of paying luxury-watch prices for a cocktail, there are much better options. It almost feels like the hotel is still charging “Hangover movie” prices. The movie was filmed here many years ago—but time has moved on, while much of the hotel hasn’t. I genuinely hope Lebua invests in a full renovation and rethinks its pricing strategy, because it has incredible potential. Until then, I can’t recommend it considering what else Bangkok offers for the same money.

Ligging Mooi en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt Bij chek out hadden ze wel mijn valies kwijt. Ze hadden ze met iemand anders meegegeven omdat nummer bijna zelfde was. Wij hadden juist een domestic flight en moesten vliegtuig halen. Alles is goed gekomen. De heer die onze valiezen had stond met iemand van hotel op luchthaven met onze valiezen.
Cons: Ik kreeg mail van manager omdat we nog 1 nacht geboekt hadden 10 dagen later. Ik moest hem mailen als ik terugkwam voor compensatie maar nooit mail terug gehad.

I didn’t give it 5 stars for 2 reasons, some areas are looking a bit tired like the outside of the building, round the pool area and the bedrooms are looking a bit drab and the prices are EXTORTIONATE. However it was spotlessly clean, great choice for breakfast and as usual with the hotel the service is exceptional- you always feel like you are special.

Die Lage ist für uns wirklich einzigartig. Wir hatten uns den Balkon aufschließen lassen und die Aussicht bei Tag und Nacht genossen. Der Pool ist sicher einer der schönsten in Bangkok und wir haben viel durchprobiert. Was auch wirklich großartig ist, ist das Frühstück, so eine riesige Auswahl und alles fantastisch frisch. Beeindruckend auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Und als Tipp, weil wir auch erst später draufgekommen sind, zumindest als Bewohner einer Suite darf man ohne zu konsumieren hoch zur Kuppel.
Cons: Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, eine Renovierung täte Not.

State Towerin aulatila on tyhjä ja epämiellyttävä jos ei käytä hotellin sisäänkäyntiä. Sijainti hieman syrjässä jos tavoitteena ydinkeskustan ostoskeskukset. Sijainti tosin lähellä jokea ja Siam Iconia. Tenniskenttä olisi mahtava lisä.

We are a family of 3, travelling with 2 adults and one kid aged 13, and we stayed at the Lebua at State Tower for 6 nights. Our stay was a list of mostly highs; however, there were a few minor things in which the hotel could improve, which will be covered throughout this review. Location: 4.5/5 Lebua at State Tower was located right in the heart of Sukhumvit, Bangkok. The location was really convenient due to the fact that many good restaurants such as Dosa King and Ciao Pizzeria were nearby, as well as massage places and laundry services. However, one small issue was that the hotel was quite far away from some main shopping centres such as IconSiam and Platinum Fashion Mall, mostly due to traffic in the city. Overall, a very central location. Breakfast: 5/5 We were absolutely spoilt for choice when we had breakfast at Mozu. As all members of my family are vegetarian, we usually struggle finding options; however, options at Lebua at State Tower were plentiful. Breakfast selection ranged from eggs to noodles to Indian food, and to be honest, we were overwhelmed with choice. To complement the lovely food, the staff were also very friendly. Whenever we got up to get drinks, they were one step ahead and brought noodles and drinks to us. A special shoutout to the man who was making the roselle and hibiscus coolers (I am unaware of his name), as he was always very friendly and made the tastiest drinks I had ever had. Overall, a very good breakfast selection that had food for people with all types of dietary requirements. Service: 5/5 The service was yet another strong point of the hotel. Every day when we went down to the breakfast buffet, we were pleasantly greeted with questions about what we wanted to drink, whether we would like eggs, etc. Another special shoutout to Arnold for bringing a spare bed so I could sleep comfortably in the same room as the rest of my family. The hotel was also extremely accommodating when we needed to change to a room with a bigger bed on our first night, and I would like to thank the reception team for that. I would also like to thank the porters who had to bring our bags to the new room at 2 a.m. Overall, the service was exceptional and nothing to complain about. Room: 3.5/5 Our room at Lebua at State Tower was good but could have been a little bit better. To start with, the room and bathroom were very clean, spacious and comfortable and were perfect for a family of three. However, the air conditioning in the bedroom was faulty and therefore made it a little difficult to sleep at night. Due to the fact that the weather is always humid in Bangkok, coming back to a cool room is always nice; however, this wasn’t possible due to the fact that the air conditioning did not work in the bedroom. Another minor downside was that the lounge area near the entrance to the room was quite dated, with visible scratch marks on the glass table and on the sofas. The room could also do with a fresh lick of paint. Lastly, the balcony provided a lovely touch to the room, which allowed us to overlook the city around. Overall, a solid room that could be improved due to the fact that the lounge is dated and the air conditioning in the bedroom is faulty. Conclusion: In summary, the hotel was good in most aspects but could be better in some. The location was a good one, with many restaurants, massage places, laundry places, and convenience stores nearby; however, main shopping centres were quite far away, mostly due to the traffic in Bangkok. The breakfast was amazing due to the wide variety of food and friendly members of staff, such as the man serving the coolers. The service also complemented the food really well, as members of staff were always very hospitable and helpful. Lastly, the room was good, as it was comfortable, spacious and clean; however, 2 letdowns were the faulty air conditioning and a minor observation was that the lounge area was dated. Overall, a very good hotel, and I would highly recommend it to tourists looking for a hotel in Bangkok.

An introduction how to use facilities such as WiFi, breakfast room etc was not provided either as a written document or on the TV/internet. The hotel has two entries, one on a side driveway that is not obvious and one which is the main entrance to the building. The main entrance hall had a bad smell for the whole time that also penetrated into the lobby area. The entry hall to the building looked desolate with a few (2 -3) shops, not very inviting.

Breakfast was generic, and the overall smell of the hotel was mildew. Maybe 5 stars 20 years ago, but half the hotel looked like it was falling apart and smells were appalling. Staff were amazing, but when listed as a 5 star and pictures show the rooftop and initial lobby, you feel like you got duped. Side note crazy to charge people 50usd a drink at a bar. Would recommend a newer hotel.

Wir wollten nur mal in das Hotel wegen der berühmten skybar und dafür reicht eine nacht, obwohl ich negativ erwähnen muss das man da dann auch nicht einfach so kurz mal hochschauen darf um vielleicht auch die Aussicht zu genießen, nein man muss ein Getränk pro person mind. Bestellen, das günstigste Getränk dort fängt bei ca. 25€ an. Also man bezahlt erstmal extrem viel geld das man überhaupt erst da hoch darf. Abgesehen davon sind die Zimmer auch wirklich schon etwas älter, auch für den preis. Also wenn man es sehen möchte für ein/zwei Nächte reicht es vollkommen. Da gibt es preis/Leistung wirklich deutlich besser und modernere hotels in bangkok. Der pool ist leider auch überhaupt nicht mit skyline was ich bei dem Hotel ursprünglich dachte. Man sieht überhaupt nichts von der Stadt leider. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt dort Gut aber für uns lohnt es sich aufjedenfall nicht wieder.

The Staff at Le Bua state tower are the most amazing people in hospitality! They are so friendly and helpful! We asked for an upgrade from two single rooms to a 2-bedroom suite as we want to be in the same room as our teenage daughters and they allowed it with no extra charge. They always check on us and give chocolate to our rooms every day! The breakfast buffet is to die for! The setting, the views and the location are just wonderful! The only major things to improve are probably to have more equipment in the gym and snazz up the pool area a bit to give it a wow factor! We will definitely be back! Ps we also love the club acces! And we still haven’t gone to the mechelin star restaurants yet! But food everywhere here screams out gourmet and high-so for foodies! So much to do around here too at iconsiam and the river cruises! Love it! Thank you so much 🙏

Great location and views of Chaophraia River and city from the hotel located at the top of the State Tower. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Suite, comprising lounge, coffee kitchen, bedroom and spacious bathroom was very convenient with lots of storage space. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooftop bars are wonderful but expensive. The staff were attentive, professional and friendly.

Amazing hotel with multiple bars and of course iconic rooftop SkyBar & restaurant. Our 2 bedroom suite was huge with 5 balconies and incredible views. Hotel Staff ratio is massive. Staff are amazing and helpful in every way from checkin to directing you to bars/restaurants and amenities. Staff were eager to take photos of you when experiencing the rooftop. Silver service at Sirocco restaurant! Accommodation cost very reasonable but cost of drinks very expensive. Lounge access definitely worth it to save costs on drinks etc but only until 6pm

Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr gut und bietet eine ideale Ausgangsbasis für die Stadt. Insgesamt hat die besondere Atmosphäre des Hauses trotz seines Alters einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen.
Cons: Das Hotel wirkt insgesamt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und viele Bereiche sind seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr modernisiert worden. Die Aufzugssituation ist unpraktisch, da man sich diese mit externen Besuchern teilt und es dadurch oft zu langen Fahrzeiten und vielen Zwischenstopps kommt, was besonders nach dem Poolbesuch unangenehm ist. Zudem gab es kleinere Unannehmlichkeiten wie laute Nachbarn auf dem Flur und eine nicht klar ausgewiesene Minibar-Abrechnung.

We have stayed at the Lebeau State Tower for 3 weeks in 2013 and had a terrific experience, we wanted to revisit it to see how it has changed and improved. We booked to visit the rooftop bar and have a few drinks in the evening and were really excited to visit what was once our favourite hotel in Bangkok. We walked into the hotel via the pedestrian entrance and found it very dark and unwelcoming, we were met by a number of shop owners hawking their wares to us as we hurried past. Once at the Lebeau State Tower we were greeted by about 6 staff members giving us the once over to ensure that we were appropriately dressed ie, no open toed shoes, tailored shorts and no sleeveless tops, having past inspection we entered the lift that took us to the lobby where we were met by a further group of staff that conducted another inspection of our attire, once again we passed muster and was allowed to proceed to the rooftop bar, or so I thought. On arrival we were met by several members of staff that ushered us to the bar below the rooftop, we asked could we go to the rooftop bar? We were told that it was for residents only and that this bar was for the general public but we could still get the same iconic views of the Chao phrayar river and City, only if you purchased the minimum of one drink each. Reluctantly we bought a drink and went outside to sit down and take in the nighttime vistas that the hotel is renowned for. Sadly the seats they had provided were so low and uncomfortable that my four year old niece (if she was here). Could not have sat on. I took one photograph and we decided to leave, on getting up the staff offered us another view of the city from a balcony at the same level but further around, an option we declined again. I have to say that this has been one of the worse experiences of my time in Bangkok and would urge everyone to stay away.

We booked a meal for two people at Sirocco at Lebua and it was just unreal. Out of this world views perfectly complimented by the most incredible service delivered by the entire team. A special mention for Jake and Aum who were so attentive, friendly, professional and went out of their way to make this such an exceptional and memorable experience for us. The offer to take photographs, pulling out and pushing our chairs on, explaining the menu and striking that perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. Thank you, you both truly made this a fantastic experience. Also a word of thanks to the lovely staff member on the steps who took a few photographs for us and imitated the hangover. This was so Incredibly kind and enhanced our experience so much. The food is expensive but absolutely worth it for a meal that you won’t forget. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Sowohl die BTS-Station als auch der Bootsanleger sind in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Weg dorthin führt über eine interessante und abwechslungsreiche Straße mit zahlreichen Massagesalons, Streetfood-Ständen und einer Mall, sodass es unterwegs immer etwas zu entdecken gibt. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Aussicht – je nach Zimmer entweder auf den Fluss oder die Skyline der Stadt. Der Ausblick ist ein Highlight des Aufenthalts. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, sauber und bieten ausreichend Platz. Das Frühstück lässt kaum Wünsche offen: Die Auswahl ist groß und vielfältig, sodass für nahezu jeden Geschmack und jede Ernährungsweise etwas Passendes dabei ist. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, professionell und gut organisiert. Gelegentlich wirkten sie etwas distanziert.
Cons: Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war selbst auf der niedrigsten Stufe sehr laut und ließ sich nicht weiter herunterregeln. Noch störender waren die beiden Außengeräte auf dem Balkon. Diese verursachten ein dauerhaftes Brummen und spürbare Vibrationen, die selbst bei geschlossener Balkontür im gesamten Zimmer wahrnehmbar waren. Beim Frühstück kam es nahezu jeden Morgen zu Wartezeiten von einigen Minuten, bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Offensichtlich stehen zu Stoßzeiten zu wenige Sitzplätze für die Anzahl der Gäste zur Verfügung. Weniger angenehm empfanden wir die Atmosphäre beim Betreten des Hotels am Abend. Nach einem langen Tag in der Stadt – nach Shopping, Märkten oder Fahrten mit öffentlichen, sehr heißen Verkehrsmitteln – hatten wir mehrfach das Gefühl, von einigen Mitarbeitern kritisch gemustert zu werden. Da sich in den oberen Etagen gehobene Restaurants und Bars mit Dresscode befinden, achten die Mitarbeiter streng darauf, wer diese Bereiche aufsucht. Als müder Hotelgast, der lediglich auf sein Zimmer möchte und entsprechend leger gekleidet ist, fühlt man sich dadurch beurteilt. Wir wurden auch gefragt, ob wir wirklich nur auf unser Zimmer wollen. Das hinterlässt keinen besonders willkommenen Eindruck.

Rooms with some of the best views of the Bangkok skyline and Chao Phraya river. The views at night are even more mesmerising. Room was immaculately made and feels like a dream after long travelling hours. The bathroom is spacious and spotless with intense water pressure in the shower. However, it was the staff that were so amazing with their welcoming behaviour and friendly attitudes that makes the stay special.

They have an entrance and exit point for cars doing pick up/ drop off, but there’s is no designated walking area to leave the hotel compound, you just have to walk along the cars/road. In order to visit the rooftop bar (with the famous steps), they take you to a lower bar first until you purchase some drinks, we spent £80 on two cocktails which were not even nice.

We just had an absolutely phenomenal stay at lebua at State Tower! Right from the start, we received a superb welcome with incredibly prompt arrangements. It genuinely felt like everyone was expecting our arrival, which made us feel so valued. A very special shoutout to Cartoon, who personally showed us to our room. She was so warm and ensured all the supportive arrangements for our room were perfectly tailored to our needs. The room itself was fantastic—the bed was super comfortable, and it offered the absolute best views of the river and the city skyline. Stepping out onto the balcony to take in the amazing breeze was a highlight of our trip. The overall hospitality was excellent throughout our stay. We were especially thrilled to find good quality Indian food available at the breakfast buffet, which was a huge plus for us. This stay was worth every penny. Our kids liked it a lot, making it a perfect family getaway. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok!

As soon as we arrived in a Taxi we was approached by a very well spoken English gent. Who kindly assisted me with my suitcase and took our passports. We were then approached with welcome drinks and cold towels. Alisan was amazing she checked us in and was so kind and helpful. She even gave us a late check out 😊. As soon as we put our suitcases in the room we went to the lounge were we was approached by Manny and Jaew who made sure our glasses we not left empty so smily and helpful. We ended the night by going to the rooftop bar where we did the Hangover scene 😆. Room was amazing and the breakfast was unreal too. If I could give more stars to this place I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will definitely stay here again! I actually cannot wait to come back Xx

I booked a 2-bedroom premium suite for 3 nights to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday in 5-star luxury. Our suite was on the 53rd floor with panoramic views over Bangkok which were mesmerising. The hotel and more importantly the hotel staff are fantastic, entirely worthy of its 5-star rating. An issue with our room was immediately rectified and more than compensated for. The Lebua is clearly focused on the guest experience and cares deeply of its reputation for doing so. Highly recommended.

Never in my life have I stayed somewhere so lovely that I genuinely struggled to find faults with it. The Lebua State Tower was absolutely amazing and, aside from one very small thing I’ll mention in the “didn’t like” section below, I would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone considering spending time in Bangkok. We originally booked a room on the 23rd floor, but for around 1,000 baht each (roughly £50 total) we upgraded to the 53rd floor and our room was honestly stunning. The views alone were worth it. The staff were amazing from start to finish, the food was incredible, and the whole experience just felt special. Breakfast in particular was on another level. The amount of choice was unlike anything I’ve experienced at a hotel before, and the pastries made in house were genuinely to die for. Everything about the stay felt relaxed, luxurious and memorable without ever feeling uncomfortable or pretentious. Honestly, I won’t even bother looking at other hotels next time I visit Bangkok because my loyalty to Lebua State Tower starts here.
Cons: The only thing we didn’t particularly like was how pushy the staff felt around the rooftop bars and Sky Bar areas. As paying guests staying at the Lebua State Tower, it strangely felt at times as though the staff assumed we were just members of the public visiting for the view. Multiple times we were immediately directed to tables, handed menus and told that the policy was to purchase drinks which, I must add, were incredibly expensive. We completely understand that the rooftop bars are premium venues and that many tourists visit purely for the view, but we genuinely just wanted to calmly look around, take in the incredible skyline, and see the famous Hangover movie steps and Sky Bar in person. I explained several times that we simply wanted to have a wander and enjoy the atmosphere, but the interactions unfortunately made us feel awkward and slightly unwelcome. In fact, my partner ended up deciding not to revisit the rooftop view during our stay because the experience made her uncomfortable. I make videos for a living, so naturally I was filming parts of our stay and trying to capture the incredible views. Unfortunately, you can actually see some of these interactions happening on camera while we were simply trying to look around and appreciate the rooftop experience. Out of respect for the hotel, I’ll be editing those moments out because aside from this issue, the hotel genuinely exceeded expectations in almost every other way. I also completely understand that managing large numbers of tourists visiting the Sky Bar must be difficult, so I do see feedback like this as constructive rather than simply a complaint. A warmer approach such as “welcome, enjoy the view, and let us know if you’d like a drink or a table” would have completely changed the experience for us. This honestly was our only complaint during the entire stay. Perhaps some sort of wristband, room card indicator or lanyard for hotel guests could help staff easily distinguish between hotel residen

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lebua at State Tower gave us exactly the kind of Bangkok experience you hope for when booking somewhere special — luxury, incredible views and those little touches that make a hotel genuinely memorable. The room was HUGE, beautifully clean and honestly felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. The bed was massive, the views from the 56th floor were unreal, and everything was constantly stocked up perfectly. Even the toiletries were Balmain, which immediately made the whole stay feel extra boujee ✨ What really stood out though were the thoughtful little extras — chocolates left after housekeeping, a weather card for the next day, endless bottled water and the kind of attention to detail that makes you feel really looked after without it feeling forced. The staff throughout the hotel were amazing too: friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The location was perfect for exploring Bangkok, and the pool became our daily reset spot whenever the heat got a bit too intense (which in Bangkok is basically every day 😂). The balcony was one of our favourite parts of the room because the skyline views were absolutely incredible, especially at night. The only tiny thing we initially wished for was seating outside — although after visiting the hotel’s stunning sky bars, we completely understood why the focus is on enjoying the views there instead. Honestly such a special stay and somewhere we’d absolutely return to next time we’re in Bangkok.

Cons: Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht mit Balkon. Erstmals war der Balkon nicht mit Stühlen ausgestattet und 2. darf man keine Zigaretten rauchen auf dem Balkon. Es gibt einen Raucherbereich in den unteren Etagen, der aber auch schon um 22 zu macht. Das heißt, für eine Zigarette muss man 50 Etagen runter fahren um vor dem Gebäude zu rauchen so ein Schwachsinn. Beim Check-in wurde dann noch eine Kaution von 10000 TBH angefordert, was vorher nicht erwähnt worden war. Als ich zurück zum Hotelzimmer wollte, standen Mitarbeiter vor der Eingangstür und fragen mich, ob ich zur Rooftop Bar gehen möchte und da hat die eine Mitarbeiterin sehr herabschauend auf mich geschaut weil ich Flip-Flops an hatte und nicht etwas ganz schickes, obwohl ich sowieso nicht zur Bar wollte!!

The hotel staff corrected everything by changing our suite to one with two queen beds, providing us with a river-view room, and apologizing for the misunderstanding regarding our wheelchair guest. However, I was personally very upset with the way Miss Grammy handled the situation. It felt as though she was not honest about the room availability and was trying to complete the check-in process quickly without showing enough patience or consideration toward the guests.

We had a 3 night stay to end our 3 week break travelling Thailand and boy did we end it in style! The hotel is beautiful, the staff were exceptionally attentive and plenty of them. The food was of very high standard and quality. We had the lounge pass which enabled you to use the Breeze Bar located on the 52 floor from 6am till 6pm Food of high quality. Good choice of drinks Staff were all attentive. The only downside is you have to remain inside, unable to use the outside terrace to have food or drinks so it felt slightly claustrophobic at times. The views were amazing. Our room was on the 58th floor with outstanding river views. The only downside is no furniture on the balcony and the floor gets wet from the air conditioning unit making it a slip hazard - not good 58 floors up! The room itself was great. Slightly dated and in need of some modernisation. Very clean and lovely toiletries replenished daily. Lovely thick large towels Free soft drinks in the minibar and water.. Turndown service every evening with 2 lovely handmade chocolates which was a nice touch. The downside of this hotel- The drinks are far too expensive in the bars. No discounted price for guests staying at the hotel. Average of £30 for a simple Gin & Tonic. Then the prices continue to rise. The infamous Hangovertini created for the cast costs around £200! The sky bar is as expected and great views from the 64th floor.Can get very overcrowded with non staying guests (free of charge to visit the skybar) and also made notoriously famous from The Hangover 2 film. Many a person on the said famous steps trying to re create that scene. Overall we had an amazing stay here and will definitely come back - if you like a touch of Lucy and pampering this is the place for you. Location is fantastic, BTS short walk away likewise is the blue flag hop on hop off sightseeing river boats.

Lebua ist eines von sehr wenigen Hotel, die in Bangkok über einen Balkon verfügen. Wir genossen die Aussicht bei tag, aber insbesondere nachts. Das Einchecken in der Lobby mit persönlicher Betreuung ist außergewöhnlich. Das Frühstück im offenen, aber überdachten Bereich ist hervorragend. Ein Highlight ist, dass die Toastscheiben in einem Holzoffen gegrillt werden.
Cons: Das Lebua ist in die Jahre gekommen und noch nicht wesentlich erneuert. Leider haben wir kein kostenloses Late Check out bekommen, obwohl wir erst um 21 Uhr angekommen sind und nach 2 Tagen um 20 Uhr abreisten. jedenfalls konnten wir die Koffer im Lebua aufbewahren. Lebua bietet auch kostenlos einen Duschraum an für späte Abreisende - ich erfuhr allerdings erst spät davon. Leider sind die Preise selbst im Mezura sehr sehr hoch; 6 kleine Bier vor der Abreise kosteten etwa 90 EUR. Der Rooftop Dome ist beeindruckend schön; leider entsprechen die Preise der Höhenlage. 2 Glas Rotwein und 2 Drinks kosteten 150 EUR. Dennoch ist es das wert.

Cons: From a hotel with this reputation you require some things and when they're not there, you get really disappointed. When I called to get some tea bags in my room, I was redirected to room service that told me it's not possible and they can only make a tea and bring it for a charge. They added that I should've asked housekeeping for tea bags in the morning, because it's not their job. That was just rude. Moreover, the swimming pool is quite cold. Good for cool down, but not for relax and recreation. Other guests were also only cooling down their feet, it was too cold for swimming. On top of that, the service is very overwhelming. You can't make a step without staff following you and directing your next move. It really makes you feel controlled and discourages from exploring the hotel on your own. The air conditioning is very loud, while the overall soundproofing is quite poor. You could hear the room on the opposite side of the corridor through the door. The prices are very high compared to the quality of the food/drink you're getting. I'm disappointed with this stay.

Cons: It’s a classic dated hotel - the rooms are so outdated and need desperate updating. Plug sockets way down behind very heavy bedside tables. No plug sockets anywhere near a mirror. Full of old, clunky old fashioned features that nobody uses anymore - a big wooden coat hanging stand, a shoe horn and clothes brush, all hangovers from a different time. They must spend thousands on fresh flowers for the lobby - spend some of that modernising the rooms, get some USB points, more lighting options - I felt like I was attending a conference in the 80s On the flip the staff were excellent - very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was visually impressive but the quality was quite poor.

This hotel is outstanding and drop dead gorgeous. It was our second stay and we as a family with grown kids loved the beautiful premium suites with river view. The staff and service is first class as well as the food and drinks. You have to experience it yourself. The location is great to explore Bangkok as the BTS train as well as ferries and free shuttle boats to the Iconsiam Mall or River City are only a few walking minutes away.

The included breakfast was top notch with the buffet that included fresh cooked eggs, and breakfast meats cooked on the grill to order. We sat right next to the pool while we enjoyed our breakfast. The rooms were amazing and spacious. The view from our balcony looked upon the river and watching the sunset from our balcony was magical.
Cons: The bed was a little too firm for my taste (my opinion) and the showers were not quite up to the experience level delivered compared to the rest of the hotel.

The staff was amazing - helpful and friendly, especially considering how late I arrived (well after midnight). The room was huge with a peek-a-boo view of the river. The Welcome macarons were a very nice touch. The complimentary breakfast went above and beyond. Definitely better than any breakfast at a US hotel. The location was within walking distance of the Sky Train, which we used daily, and the pier where the water taxis and IconSiam shuttle departed from.
Cons: Not a fan of the in-room coffee maker. Even at the highest level, only got a few ounces of coffee. Really need more first thing in the morning.

Cons: Cleanliness must be improved - at least 3 mini roaches during our stay. 2 in the room (and even after the hotel said they will deep clean the room) and 1 in the pistachio pie at the Tower Club lounge. They did say they immediately swapped out the pie but it’s hard to ascertain. Smokers in adjacent room - our neighbours were smoking cigarettes and weed in a supposedly non-smoking hotel; the fumes entered our room from the AC unit in our balcony. Told the duty manager but they said nothing can be done as their room was on Do Not Disturb. They offered to spray our room with fragrance. I had to confront my neighbours on my own after i had caught them smoking on their balcony but even then nothing was done to change out the bad neighbours nor enforcement as I had the weed fumes enter our room for 3 consecutive days. Do not expect your feedback to the hotel to achieve anything as they are powerless to do anything (as mentioned by the duty manager). If you want to smoke, feel free to do so in the balcony as the hotel will not be able to do anything to you as long as the Do Not Disturb sign is on. General appliances/design/experience: 1. Room - Bathroom power outlet doesnt cater for the hair-dryer. TV is worse than most 2-star hotels. AC unit in balcony that brings in fumes into your room. 2. Lifts - waiting period can be long at times. Can be up to 5 minutes from pressing the call lift button. 3. Be mindful when ordering Bolt/Grab, indicate that the pick up is at hotel lobby or they might not drive in. 4. Service recovery - attempted but lacking. “Let us give you some chocolates, late check out, and airport transfer service for 3 roaches and 3 days of cigarettes and marijuana fumes disturbing your rest.”.

Very expensive for food and drink. And the sky bar told us when we went up that our son couldn’t go in as he was wearing crocs (he’s 9!) we argued and they eventually let us but it felt too pretentious and the price of drinks up there was ridiculous! The tables around the pool where they served food they were funny about the kids sitting in their bathing suits to have a drink even though it’s next to the pool. A nice hotel for one night but a bit style over substance and pretentious.

The view from the balcony was incredible.
Cons: Everything is outdated and room service is overpriced. Within my booking , I requested a special anniversary surprise which was forgotten. I had to call to remind them which ruined the surprise.
