Cons: The place is huge and once you head up away from the staffed areas, it lacks any sense of where you are. Rooms lacked any warmth, being large, immaculate, but nothing like pictures on the wall etc. we stayed for a few nights and it felt like the Hotel in The Shining. Given it's not cheap, and Bangkok is rammed full of hotels, I won't be stopping there next time.

Zimmer waren grosszügig, sauber wenn auch schon ziemlich abgenutzt. Frühstück war auf den ersten Blick sehr gross hat mich aber leider nicht sehr angesprochen. Evt sollte ich besser Thai Frühstück zelebrieren und nicht europäisch.
Cons: Preise sind irgendwie jenseits von realem Leben nicht mal in der Schweiz findet man solche Preise, aber solange das Reisende bezahlen, scheint das in Ordnung zu sein.

Great place. Great staff, always helpful, friendly and smiling to everyone. Good location, easy to get to river ferries and BTS system. Some great facilities and restaurants here as well if you're feeling a bit lazy for your meal plans.
Cons: Don't get taxi during rush hour in this area. Can get crowded and you will be stuck for a while. Not the fault of the hotel obviously.

Cons: The pool and whirlpool was cold, so even when it’s warm you don’t want to go inside. Also the hotel has aged a lot and some edges need urgent renovations. The roof top bar could not be visited with a baby in Kinderwagen, which was communicated very unfriendly and rude by staff.

Nice to have a bit of luxury at the end of a 16 day almost backpacking trip round Thailand. Breakfast was AMAZING! Food from all around the world. Room huge and nighttime views stunning.
Cons: Dated. After staying in 4 other places on our trip was expecting pure luxury. But needs attention. Small things like plug sockets all wonky, artwork wonky, no iron, no SMART TV etc. Expected USB charging points etc for the price paid and although comfy not the comfiest we had on our trip. Access to Sky bar seemed impossible with dress code so didn't bother and £500 ,deposit on arrival for 2 rooms seemed a little excessive. Also the area around the hotel is not the best. Glad we stayed but would not return

Wir haben das Hotel nachträglich auch für meine Eltern gebucht, die eine Nacht dort verbracht haben. Da wir bereits eine bestehende Buchung hatten, bekamen wir völlig überraschend ein kostenloses Upgrade auf eine Suite mit traumhaftem Ausblick, was wir als sehr großzügig empfanden. Auch nach der Abreise meiner Eltern durften wir die weiteren zwei Nächte in der Suite bleiben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das unglaublich aufmerksame, freundliche Personal sowie die gigantische Frühstücksauswahl,wirklich beeindruckend. Ein rundum großartiger Aufenthalt!
Cons: Weniger gefallen hat uns, dass Hotelgäste die Rooftop-Bar bzw. den Ausblick nur mit mindestens einem Getränk pro Person genießen durften, während die Preise dafür sehr hoch angesetzt sind. Bereits in den unteren Restaurants empfanden wir die Preise als übertrieben – zum Beispiel hätte ein 0,33 l Wasser rund 300 Baht gekostet. Das hat uns davon abgehalten, die Rooftop-Bar zu nutzen. In Bangkok gibt es zudem viele andere Orte mit tollem Ausblick, die deutlich günstiger oder sogar kostenlos sind.

I like hotel view location all the lounge and activies stay 2-3 times a year if i come to bangkok ita very convinient.
Cons: This cannabis / smoke hunt should be stopped. Cant smoke in room or balcony m floor to smoke but no cant smoke cannabis there neither. There should be some rooms or place with a nice view for cannabis smokers. If not im afraid i would change my hotel selection.

Notre séjour a été parfait, la chambre était une suite du 56eme étage avec une vue incroyable. Le petit déjeuner est extraordinaire, la qualité est exceptionnelle, et la décoration orientale magnifique. Le personnel est aux petits soins. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal (bus, port à proximité).

Staff super disponibile, hanno fatto tutto il necessario per farci vivere un'esperienza indimenticabile. I servizi disponibili per gli ospiti sono moltissimi, e la premura da parte dello staff è da premiare! Se qualcosa non va o manca, basta contattare la reception. Possibilità di luggage storage. Cons: Before my arrival, I explicitly inquired whether there were rooms with a view of the Iconsiam fireworks and which category I should book to ensure this. The response was a clear 'yes'. Based on this information, I booked the recommended category and followed up with an email requesting that a balcony facing Iconsiam be noted in my reservation. From that point on, I was suddenly told that this view could no longer be guaranteed. Upon arrival, we were – as feared – not given a room with a view of Iconsiam. This was extremely disappointing. Furthermore, the service at check-out was unacceptable. The staff offered to call a taxi for us. Although I knew this would be more expensive than booking one myself via Grab (where the wait time was only 2 minutes), we agreed. We ended up waiting 20 minutes, and when I asked for an update, no one could tell me when the taxi would arrive, only that it would be 'sometime within the next hour'. We had a flight to catch and were under time pressure. When I explained this to the staff, I was simply told 'Happy New Year' and told not to be so stressed in the new year. This response was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional given the situation. Regarding the facilities: the hotel pool is permanently in the shade and not recommended. The rooms are dated and in urgent need of renovation. Overall, this is not a 5-star standard and certainly does not reflect the image you market to your guests. This stay was far below expectations.

Ich war zwei Nächte in der Tower Club Suite, die Lounge in der es kostenlose Getränke gibt ist sehr nett allerdings ist es meiner Meinung nach das zusätzliche Geld nicht wert. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ist natürlich atemberaubend und der Gedanke in "dem" Hangover 2 Hotel zu übernachten ist schon cool. Wenn man das Geld über hat kann man es machen es gibt allerdings günstigere Hotels mit ähnlicher oder besserer Ausstattung.
Cons: Die Zimmer sind schon abgewohnt. Kratzer auf dem Boden und ein etwas veraltetes aussehen prägen die Zimmer. Die Lage ist je nach dem was man vor hat auch nicht so Ideal gerade wenn man richtung "Party" will. Was sehr merkwürdig war das man an der berühmten Stelle selbst als Hotelgast keine Fotos machen durfte...

Amazing view from the 56th floor! The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had, both in terms of quality and selection. Clean and spacious room. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaning was excellent during my stay.
Cons: The room itself could use an update. It was very spacious but the furniture and interior felt old and tired. Nothing was broken or dirty, but I expected a bit more at this price point. I didn't really enjoy the area around the hotel at night. I stayed in hotels around Nana and Asok earlier on my trip and preferred that vibe.

Cons: Das Hotel hat seine guten Tage hinter sich. Alles, außen und innen, ist stark renovierungsbedürftig. Holzfußboden in unserem Zimmer war stark "benutzt". In die berühmte Rooftop-Bar durften wir nicht, unsere kleine neunjährige Tochhter hatte nur Sandalen (Crocs) dabei und die sind oben nicht erlaubt. Ich hatte dieses Hotel extra wegen der Bar gebucht.

Wir hatten eine Suite mit Flussblick. Die Aussicht im 51. Stock war atemberaubend. Die Suite selber war gemischt aus altem Möbel und modernem Bad, modernem TV. und einem großen Bett auf dem wir wunderbar geschlafen haben. Das Frühstück muss ich hervorheben, dass war das beste, vielfältigste und leckerste Frühstück das ich in einem Hotel erhalten habe. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gefühlt konnte jeder englisch. Kommunikation war von daher gegeben.

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. In den Betten liegt es sich bequem. Das Bad ist toll! Der Ausblick vom Rooftop ist in der Tat sensationell. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit aber es fehlt an Professionalität.
Cons: Das Hotel ist äusserst ringhörig. Die Fenster isolieren nicht und unter der Türe gibt es einen grossen Spalt der den Lärm im Hotelgang rein lässt. Auch sollte mal kräftig renoviert werden in den Zimmern. Sie sind abgewohnt.Es ist zwar alles vorhanden aber ohne jeglichen "Glanz" Der Hoteleingang über die grosse Aussentreppe ist eine Baustelle und wirkt gar nicht einladend. Auch scheint es bauliche Schäden zu geben...wahrscheinlich vom Erdbeben letztes Jahr.

Die Suite in der 53.Etage hatte einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Traumhafter Blick auf Bangkok. Sie ist sehr groß, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen und altbacken eingerichtet. Der Service der Mitarbeiter im Suitebereich war einfach sehr bezaubernd und liebevoll.
Cons: Das Ambiente im Frühstücksraum ist sehr unpersönlich, die Kellner unmotiviert bis unfreundlich. Bei der Größe des Frühstücksbuffets sollte eher auf Qualität, statt auf Quantität geachtet werden. Der Poolbereich ist recht uninspiriert und weniger einladend. Die vielbesagte Bar haben wir aufgrund der Preise und des Dresscodes erst gar nicht besucht. Der vordere Haupteingang ist eine Zumutung.

L’arrivée à l’hôtel manque de professionnalisme en effet, le personnel ne monte pas en chambre, attente pour la récupération de la chambre même après l’heure officielle de Check in. Mettre un petit panier de fruits avec un mot en chambre ne mangerait pas de pain non plus. Attention également aux tarifs de toutes les prestations de l’hôtel (restaurant, Sky bar ou encore pressing) qui restent très élevées.

Gute location! Die U-Bahn ist 10 min Fußmarsch weg, genauso wie der Pier mit dem man am Fluss entlang fährt mit den öffentlichen Mitteln. Wir haben auch ein gratis Update bekommen von unseren Zimmer und waren dann in einer Riesen großen Suite, das war der Wahnsinn. Wir haben den Ausgang fast nicht mehr gefunden im Zimmer. Rooftop avec une vue fabuleuse. Tout était parfait.
Cons: Rien d'important, étant donné que c'était une offre et que le prix était plus que raisonnable pour ce type d'hôtel, nous avons, je pense, eu une chambre qui doit faire partie des chambres plus anciennes, il y avait donc quelques petits détails qui n'étaient pas au top : grésillement du haut parleur au plafond durant toute la nuit, lumière automatique du placard qui s'allumait et s’éteignait en alternance (j'ai calé une valise devant la porte du placard afin que la lumière arrête de clignoter ;-), télévision impossible a éteindre. la grosse déception pour mes enfants étaient de ne pas avoir pu faire LA photo référence (du film )sur les marches, car l'accès y est visiblement interdit pour raison de sécurité. Ils ont également été plutôt mal reçu par certains employés, mais lorsqu'ils ont dit que nous avions un chambre dans l'hôtel l'attitude à changé... c'est un peu dommage, il y a un monde fou sur ce rooftop très prisé, il faut faire la queue pour y accéder.

Cons: Selbst als Gast muss man Getränke konsumieren für auf dem Rooftop Fotos machen zu dürfen. Das wäre ja als aussenstehender Gast noch in Ordnung, aber sicher nicht als Gast des Hotels. Und man hat uns noch zuerst in eine andere bar gebracht und dort probiert uns überteuerte getränke anzubieten um zu warten bis wir auf den rooftop könnten, weil es so voll wäre... fühlte sich richtig wie ein scam an. Dies war vor ein paar Jahren noch komplett anders. Ich weiss nicht was sich in der organisation geändert hat, aber es ist wirklich wie auf einem Bazar wo überall probiert wird dir Geld aus der tasche zu leiern. Sehr schade, zum glück gibt es in Bangkok viele andere Rooftops

Le petit déjeuner est tout simplement fantastique avec des produits variés, frais et de toutes sortes. Tout le personnel est très professionnel et avenant. Rien à redire. Grâce à mon statut genius 3 , l'hotel nous a upgradé. La suite était grande et confortable avec une superbe vue et un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle .

Ich war nun zum 2ten mal im Lebua. Dieses Mal mit Baby und wurde noch mehr überrascht als beim ersten Mal. Das ganze Hotel ist von Ankunft bis Check Out eine pure Luxus-Oase. Das Frühstück, die Restaurants, die Zimmer, Rooftopbar, Service, Personal - alles empfehlenswert und hat 11/10 Sternen verdient. Das Upgrade war auch sehr vielversprechend, leider hatten wir gar keine Zeit die Lounge zu nutzen. Wir kommen aber wieder!
Cons: Die Preise für Cocktails und Essen sind mehr als abgehoben. Wir durften mit Baby nicht in die Rooftopbar, dafür wurde uns ein Tisch im Restaurant für einen Cocktail angeboten. Das wäre ja ok gewesen, wenn sie nicht extra Gedeck verrechnet hätten. 80 Euro für 2 Cocktails in Bangkok ist absurd. Der Pool ist sehr kalt - aber wir hatten sowieso keine Zeit zum schwimmen

This is genuinely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. From the moment I arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were exceptional – warm, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well maintained, with a real sense of calm despite being in the heart of Bangkok. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a fantastic bed and all the amenities you could ask for. Every area of the hotel felt luxurious without being pretentious. Facilities were outstanding, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made it very hard to leave. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything just works, but this one truly does. If you’re staying in Bangkok, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. I would absolutely return without hesitation.

The hotel, and especially the Sky Bar, strongly implies the possibility of taking iconic photos inspired by The Hangover. This is clearly used as a marketing hook. However, once you arrive, this possibility is arbitrarily denied, with no prior warning. The most serious issue is that you are required to purchase drinks first (at very high prices, especially by Bangkok standards), with the expectation that these photos would be allowed, only to be told afterward that they are not permitted. There are no signs on site and no information on the website stating this limitation. The result is a very clear feeling of being misled: the experience is designed to attract customers and then deny them the very reason they came, after they have already spent money. I genuinely felt tricked. Visually impressive venue, but poor transparency and a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend it.

We loved our stay here. The tower club access lounge was amazing. I have booked this room access again for my parents who will be visiting us in bangkok in March. We stayed for our anniversary and the staff left a lovely card and red velvet cake in the room. Room facilities were lovely with amazing city views. Breakfast was lovely as was the food and drinks in the tower club lounge.
Cons: We had a drink of water, coffee and one coca cola at the pool bar and the prices were very expensive.

Cons: When you book a hotel in a new country, the first impression matters a lot because it represents the image of that country. Unfortunately, our experience with this hotel was the complete opposite. We booked through Booking.com, but when my friend went to check in before me, the hotel staff said that Booking.com had not shared any details about our booking and they did not give us a clear answer. Later, when I spoke to the hotel manager, he claimed that there are scams happening, and he insisted that Booking.com should call them directly to confirm the booking. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager created unnecessary disturbance. He refused to cooperate properly, and we ended up having a serious argument because he kept repeating that he couldn’t do anything, rather than offering a solution. The worst part was that the hotel did not respond to Booking.com’s calls or emails for confirmation. Because of their lack of response, Booking.com cancelled our reservation. Only after receiving the cancellation message did the hotel realize that the confirmation request had actually come from Booking.com. This whole situation could have been avoided if the manager had acted responsibly and communicated properly. Overall, the manager provided the worst service and attitude. In fact, his behavior made it feel like he personally ensured that we would leave a negative review. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel due to their unprofessional management and poor handling of bookings.

The rooms are incredibly big, but dated, as is most of the hotel. They are refurbishing it tho. It is a good hotel, nice pool, very good breakfast buffet and the views are really great. Location is close to the river and easy to reach places walking. Lots of small restaurants in the area and the silver sellers are close.
Cons: The hotel is unfortunately featured in a famous movie and the lines to go up to the terraze to have a drink are extreme. The prices for a drink are also ridiculously high. You should not be punished for that when staying at a hotel.

Cons: Ich komme seit über 20 Jahre und die Zimmer werden immer schlechter und das Angebot auch. Das Fitnesscenter ist auf 1/4 reduziert worden und lächerlich für dieses Hotel. Die Preise von Essen sind extrem teuer für durchschnittliche Qualität. Schade, dass das Hotel nicht aktualisiert wird und nur teurer und schlechter wird. Es gibt viele bessere Alternativen in Bangkok.

Cons: Da wir 2013 wir zum ersten Mal in diesem Hotel. Da war noch die Werbung für "Hangover 2" als Plakat in den Aufzüge 😄 Damals waren die Matratzen ein Traum 👍🏼👍🏼 bzgl. Komfort im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in Thailand. Wir hatten diesmal ein identisches Zimmer. Aber der Liegekomfort war nicht der selbe wie damals, die Matratzen wirkten härter für mich als 102kg Mann ohne Bierbauch. Und auch für den Teppich im Schlafzimmer ist die Zeit gekommen, erneuert zu werden.

Location. Clean rooms. Could easily stay there for a week.
Cons: Asked for a deposit for the room which is okay however, they did not state this pre check-in. Also only accepted a credit card for this payment. As we were backpacking none of us had our credit cards on us only debits. So were unable to pay this. They did wave the fee for us.

Ich habe den Aufenthalt im Lebuja gebucht, um ein spezielles Lebensereignis zu feiern. Das Hotel war sehr aufmerksam und hat meine Feier zu einem unvergesslichen Ereignis werden lassen. Ich bin sehr dankbar für die wunderbare und spezielle Zeit in Ihrem Haus. Unvergesslich!

Hotel de lujo, instalaciones muy buenas. Trato maravillosol al cliente y servicios de calidad. Desayuno muy variado para todos los gustos.
Cons: A tener en cuenta el depósito de garantía, es muy alto.

Ausstattung des Hotels. Vielfältiges Frühstück. Große schöne Zimmer. Tür zum Balkon zu öffen ! 2x 2* Michelin Restaurants und die berühmte Sky Bar im Haus. Fluß-Linienboot und Metro Station in Fußentfernung. Das Mandarin Oriental um die Ecke.
Cons: Fenster sind nicht besonders dicht. Obwohl das Hotel ab dem 52 Stockwerk aufwärts gelegen ist, ist - mit Außnahme der Zimmer auf der Nordwestseite - deutlicher und donnernder Straßenlärm zu hören.

Die Zimmer sind großzügig, das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Cons: Der Eingangsbereich liegt an der Seite , die große Halle steht größtenteils leer. Der Entree wird der übrigen Klasse des Hotels nicht gerecht.

Scirocco restaurant OMG—what an incredible place! The view, the service, the atmosphere… all amazing. But it was the food that completely blew us away. We did the tasting menu and believe me, you won’t be disappointed. We had seven or eight perfect courses ranging from a taco to tagliarini, Wagyu beef, scallops, and then the most perfect Grand Marnier soufflé and chocolate tart. Every course was delicate, cooked perfectly with masses of flavour and textures in each course. It was our anniversary, and the chef sent out an extra chicken dish that was just as delicious, plus extra desserts—and even came out to talk with us. Such a memorable touch. This food is so good you would be crazy to miss it if you are in Bangkok. Chef Brian Rodriguez is incredibly talented. I can’t wait to return!

La posizione, la vista, le camere perfette. Il personale molto gentile, la bellissima piscina, anche se un po' in ombra. Buonissima la colazione Molto gentile il consierge di stamattina (non ricordo il nome...) che ci ha dato ottime informazioni per muoverci in città.
Cons: Una cosa importante: in un 5 stella non c'è uno spogliatoio, ne in piscina ne in hotel, dove ci si possa cambiare in caso si lasci la camera la mattina e che l'hotel tenga i bagagli. I voli per l'Europa partono tutti la notte, noi dovevamo metterci degli abiti più pesanti per il viaggio, abbiamo dovuto arrangiarci in bagno con poco spazio e dando fastidio agli altri. Non era necessario un late check out non necessitavano di doccia ma solo di un posto per cambiarci.
