Great breakfast, topped up frequently for the mid-late comers. Bathroom spacious - could swing a cat! We had an opening window and a balcony, which is quite rare in the city (however this balcony was directly overlooked by our neighbour, so no use). Hotel right by the train station and easy to find. Sound proofed well. We also received a welcome note, and a parting pack of pasta gift.
Cons: Shower cubicle was tiny, forget bending down to wash your toes. 0 place to store open suitcases. Airco was not fully aircowing, the room is very dusty, woke up in the middle of the night shocking on dust.

Great location, right across the train station and a few minutes away from all the main atractions. Room and bathrom were large enough and very clean. Yes there is noise from the outside, but when you close your window it is peaceful enough, so you can sleep well. Staff were very kind and helpful all the way. Breakfast is full and various. La posizione è perfetta, la colazione è TOP! Il personale del breakfast è molto gentile! Molto bene che si può portare animali, si può prolungare dalle 11 fino alle 15 permanenza (check out) con un extra di 30 euro. La vista dalla finestra dei piani alti è bella.
Cons: 1) l’asciugacapelli: quello fisso in bagno funzionava male e dopo circa 20 secondi si spegneva. Abbiamo quindi chiamato la reception per chiedere un asciugacapelli portatile. Dopo circa 15 minuti non era ancora arrivato e abbiamo dovuto richiamare. A quel punto ci è stato finalmente portato. 2) la pulizia del bagno - nella vasca sui bordi erano presenti capelli forse lasciati dagli ospiti precedenti 3) Abbiamo chiesto alla reception un vaso per i fiori. Dopo circa 20 minuti non era ancora arrivato e, dopo averlo richiesto nuovamente ci è stato portato. 4) Il problema più assurdo, però, riguarda il late check-out. Il check-out standard era alle 11:00 e abbiamo pagato 30 € in più per poter rimanere in camera fino alle 15:00. Mi è stato chiesto di pagare extra time subito e alle 10:00 sono sceso personalmente alla reception per effettuare il pagamento - poi però alle 11.30 ci chiamano dalla reception per dire che il check out era alle 11, che ti fa capire il coordinamento tra il personale della reception lascia desiderare che non è stato comunicato il fatto che abbiamo prolungato e pagato extra…Quindi dopo aver pagato personalmente alla reception extra time - mi aspettavo che la tessera della camera venisse automaticamente aggiornata fino alle 15:00.Invece, quando siamo rientrati in camera alle 14:45, la tessera non funzionava più. Ho dovuto quindi riscendere dal 3 piano alla reception per farla riattivare. Questo ci ha fatto perdere circa 15 minuti (perché a volte gli ascensori sono occupati), proprio a causa di un problema che sarebbe dovuto essere risolto quando avevo pagato il late check-out. Ho quindi chiesto semplicemente se fosse possibile recuperare quei 15 minuti, considerando che li avevamo persi non per colpa mia. Ci è stato risposto citazione “Sei hai prolungato fino alle 15 la devi lasciare alle 15, perché devono anche avere il tempo per pulire la camera…” Non sono una persona che fa le polemiche, il mio commento solo per migliorare i servizi.

Localização excepcional — a poucos passos do metro e da estação ferroviária, e a apenas 5 minutos a pé do centro histórico de Florença, o que torna tudo incrivelmente prático para explorar a cidade a pé ou de transportes. O staff é simpático e sempre prestável, disponível para ajudar em tudo o que precisámos. O quarto estava impecável, limpo e confortável. O pequeno-almoço é variado e de boa qualidade, uma ótima forma de começar o dia. Para quem viaja de carro, há um parque de estacionamento privado mesmo ao lado do hotel, o que facilita bastante. No geral, uma experiência excelente em todos os aspectos — recomendo vivamente!

The only clear advantage of the hotel is its location, very close to the railway station and within walking distance of the city centre.
Cons: The hotel was definitely below expectations. It is officially rated as a 4-star hotel, but in my opinion the actual standard is much lower. We had a room on the second floor facing the railway station. The windows are old and poorly sealed, so they provide almost no sound insulation. Even with the windows completely closed, we could hear people talking outside as if the windows were open. The noise at night made it very difficult to sleep. The walls between the rooms are also very thin, and we could clearly hear the guests in neighbouring rooms. The room itself needs renovation. The walls were scratched, dirty and covered with stains. In the bathroom, there was mould on the silicone sealant, and the paint on the ceiling was peeling and coming off. The bed was also not very comfortable. One of the lifts was not working. The other two were technically operating, but they seemed insufficient for the size of the hotel and the waiting times were often very long. Breakfast was typically Italian, so I cannot really complain about that. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a much higher standard. The property really needs renovation, especially the rooms and bathrooms, as well as new, properly sealed and soundproofed windows.

No nos pudimos arreglar al ser el cuarto de baño carente de ventilación exterior y funcionar con luz a oscuras es imposible. No nos dieron explicaciones perdimos el desayuno y nos tuvimos que ir sin arreglar y lo peor sin explicación ninguna, compensación una bolsita de pasta para cocinar de 250 gr por cortesía, vamos ridículos. Cons: O hotel é muito grande pelo que andamos muito até chegar ao quarto (só um elevador leva à recepção), pequeno almoço apesar da diversidade de produtos, a qualidade fica aquem. Sentimos na zona de acesso ao quarto e no quarto algum cheiro de humidade que ultrapassamos pois o quarto tinha varanda e deixamos a janela aberta umas horas...

The location is hard to beat if you are travelling into the city by train, tram or bus. Expect a warm welcome when you arrive and approach staff. My bags were taken to the room while I walked around the historic centre. The city view is good (but I'm not convinced it is worth the extra 30 euros a night).
Cons: The bathroom: My knees were almost underneath the sink when I sat on the toilet and the shower is tiny. There's limited space for toiletries and nowhere to hang clothes other than the towel rack. The gym: It was disappointing to discover that it closes between 12pm and 6pm. It is one of the reasons I select to stay at a hotel and pay a little extra. The sales pitch at check in: I regret paying the upgrade charge. I really didn't feel the hotel offered good value for money.

La posizione della struttura è eccezionale, letteralmente di fronte alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella.

В номере был современный свежий ремонт, номер соответствовал фотографиям, свежее постельное белье, очень чисто. В отеле были отличные европейские завтраки и десерты. Удобно было добираться до достопримечательностей пешком. Мы бы с удовольствием выбрали этот отель при следующем посещении города!

結構綺麗でした。タオルも毎回取り替えてくれますし、毎日部屋の掃除も頼めばしてくれます。(以前、タオルを交換せずにそのまま落としたものを新しく交換したかのように見せかけて置いていたホテルを見たことがあるので、目の前で交換して貰えたのは安心しました。) welcomeドリンクも用意してくれていて、barで18:00-20:00で1杯飲めるのと、軽食もいただけます。着いたのが夕方だったので、夕食代わりに食べましたが美味しかったです。 スタッフさんもとても親切にしてくれましたし、要望には大体応えてくださいます。特にbarの男性スタッフの方が歓迎してくださって、当方英語ができず注文を伝えるのに苦労していましたが、嫌な顔ひとつ見せずに対応してくださいました。チェックアウト担当の方も、こちらの拙いイタリア語を褒めて下さって、日本語でお礼を伝えてくれたりと優しかったです。
Cons: シャワーの排水溝が詰まっていました。ただ、掃除してもらう際にメモにて書き置きしたところ、夜には直っていたので、依頼すれば大丈夫かと思います。お詫びなのか、パスタもいただきました。 他は、皆さん書かれているように、ティッシュはありません。また、冷蔵庫の中は有料なので気をつけてください。(机の上の水は無料でしたが、取り替えとかはなかったです。) 1つ、不満な点を挙げるとすれば、冷房の温度が自動で変わってしまうことです。結構寒かったり、夜中は少し暑く寝苦しいときがありました。

Fantastic hotel in excellent location. When arriving by plane, the tram that departs the airport stops right in front of the hotel. And from the hotel it's a short walk right into the center and close to nice restaurants. Rooms and beds were very comfortable, AC as well, and breakfast is great with lots of options that change every day as well. Free welcome drink including bites at the bar was also great, and the bar is great value as well! Staff was super nice and have a lot of attention for detail. Would definitely come back.

Cons: Il n'y avait pas de prise électrique à côté du lit, c'est vraiment un problème. La petite savonnette qui glisse sans arrêt dans le lavabo, c'est un peu dépassé!!! il y'a d'autres solutions de nos jours (gel lavant). Tout ça pour dire qu'il faut un peu moderniser les chambres. Enfin, tout le trottoir devant l'hotel est envahi par des personnes installées quasi à même le trottoir, de jour comme de nuit, ce qui rend le lieu pas du tout accueillant.

We also received a complimentary welcome drink at the hotel’s bar, which was a nice touch. Another thing we really appreciated was being able to borrow an iron free of charge, unlike some hotels that charge extra for it. We were also upgraded to a spacious room with a huge terrace overlooking Florence and a large bathroom, which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again if we come back to Florence. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit.

Location was directly across from the train station, super easy to get to if arriving by train. As long as you are able bodied and willing to walk, this was close enough to the attractions to be well worth it. Having said that, we are 20,000 - 30,000 step a day travelers, so if you prefer to walk less than that, you may want to look elsewhere. The hotel staff I interacted with were wonderfully friendly and hospitable. Our room was adequately sized, if on the smaller end, but with a lovely balcony overlooking the square (noisy of course, considering the traffic and trains being across the road), but the windows were quadruple paned so when the doors and windows were shut, you couldn't hear a thing. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Bathroom was a nice size. Wi-fi was decent and workable. The hotel was well worn, but well taken care of, like the carpets probably should have been replaced years ago, but you could tell they were doing everything they could to keep them clean. Even with my complaints I would stay here again.
Cons: TV was ancient if that matters to you, I prefer to plug in my phone and stream a youtube video before bed and I was able to do that, but the TV was old and needs replacement. The tub/shower was very narrow width wise, so it kind of impossible to have a firm stance in it, I had to shower sideways. The toilet in our room flushed - but barely. It took a few flushes to get everything down.

Right from check-in, the staff were onto it. Evilina was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Free drink on arrival. We were allowed in the lounge to call family and use wifi while we waited for our room. A phone call to check everything was ok. The attention to detail and personalised service was excellent. Less than 100m from the station and walking distance to everything. Cheap for what we got. Highly recommended.

Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuné là bas, car il est situé proche du centre-ville avec de bonnes options. La chambre était plutôt propre et le staff a répondu à toutes nos questions.
Cons: La salle de bain pourrait bénéficier d'un rafraichissement. Le quartier n'inspire pas forcément confiance à la tombée de la nuit. Les couloirs en moquette sentent un peu la fumée ou le vieux (pas dans la chambre).

Cons: the air-conditioning is set at 24 degrees and while it can go hotter it cant go cooler which is bad when the sun is directly on you window and wall and the room gets hot. It colled things a fair bit if the curtains were closed during the day but if it didnt cool outside overnight the room was a bit hot for me to sleep - i preffer around 20 degrees celcius for sleeping.

Cons: The only area for improvement is the clarity around the city tax during booking. Booking.com stated that no further payments were required, but we had to pay a €28 city tax for our 2-night stay. While most hotels include a disclaimer like "additional payments may be required," this one didn't. It's a small technicality, but updating your Booking.com settings to clarify this would make the guest experience much smoother.

Cons: Staff was not polite when we arrived we waited at the desk where 3 workers ignored us and said nothing till another worker at another desk called us over. Which was extremely unprofessional. We got a room with no AC, we called for assistance and it took almost an hour for the maintenance man to come through to which he wasn’t even able to fix it or give a solution. Staff should be better trained on being polite and professional to all guests especially those who are at the front desk as they are the first impression !

Great breakfast, large buffet with excellent variety of choices. Prime location, just cross the street from the train station, within walking distance for most attractions. We receive a welcome drink with free buffet for nibbles, very nice.
Cons: Standard room is small, shower space is really tiny.
