Visit from UK. We enjoyed our 3 night stay but I believe the hotel is not 5*. More like 3 plus. Well, the hotel itself is 5* but our room was not. Arrival: absolutely beautiful and clean entrance/reception area. Grounds are beautiful. Check in was no problem and friendly staff. I took ÂŁ500 in cash and exchanged this at reception upon check in without any issues. Please don't do what I do. I take credit card all over the world but on this occasion I did not. I preferred to use cash but the hotel placed a ÂŁ300 hold/deposit on my debit card. I only took my spare savings debit card so had to quickly transfer money across . My fault but make sure your debit card is loaded with extra cash you won't be using for this if you are only bringing cash from the UK and don't want to take Credit card. Anyway, all fine and had assistance with luggage to the room. The room was nice and spacious but a few points: No do not disturb sign to use, no bin in the room except bathroom, separate toilet was very uninviting ( tiles looked dirty and toilet/area just looked old) it's nice to have a comfortable area to do your business in a 5* so this was definitely not, no iron in room even though stated there was, switch sockets were silver and looked dirty this could have been marks from cleaning but should be polished before new customer arrives and finally the shower was large with hot lovely water but again the tiles had splash marks that looked dirty, should be cleaned before new customer. So from experience room was 3*. Tiny balcony with nice view towards pool, used common sense and moved the table in between the two large chairs otherwise you could not move . No issues at all for us but just a point. Breakfast was lovely without complaint. Service: First impressions count! Our first afternoon we sat by the pool near the back for an hour. Lovely weather and like others we fancied a beer or cocktail. Two male waiting staff walked by more than 10 times without saying anything (considering it was service only!) we decided to be our British selves and walked along the pool trying not to look irritated and approached the bar area. We were stopped in our tracks so we simply said can we get a drink we are sitting bottom of pool, husband said no issues we are at bar now and we will just get own drinks. The bartender didn't want to assist and pointed us away to 'another bar' perhaps he thought we were sitting at the pool behind but had he listened he would know that we had simply been sitting 45 minutes without being able to get a drink. Anyway, senior staff came over took order and told us politely our drinks would follow to where we were sat. They did arrive about 15 minutes later but that first impression was not great. Just let us buy our drinks at the bar and apologise offering table service next time but seemed a fuss on. That was the only issue, seems minor but not 5* service. Location: 40 minute lovely walk to the square. M avenue, LE 6 restaurant 10 minutes walk. We never used taxi and walked everywhere( Our preference when travelling) . Check out: I wanted to give a good hour and half as that's just me, this allows time for queuing and a slow check out. No queue 11:45ish and lady receptionist very friendly and asked how trip was, what we had done. Paid tourist tax in cash using left over dirhams so all good. Card hold was cancelled and we did repeat this back and a receipt followed. No issues. As we left the file festival was on so front of hotel was jam packed with Police and taped off, no issues at all and felt completely safe throughout whole trip. The presence of security and Police is nice to see for us.

I booked the deluxe suite which is supposed to be the most luxurious suite. The hotel is beautiful. But the hotel decided to give me the last building in the hotel which my balcony view is a parking lot, a construction site and a street with loud cars and motorcycles passing by. I complained with management they said that, they don't have any other suite available, and MAYBE tomorrow will check if there's any availability for them to change my room with horrible view and loud car noises, Well after this from all the electrical outlets, 1 only works, and one of the outlets messed up my girlfriends Dyson hair blower. On the closet there's no hangers, so how are we supposed to hang the clothes? We tried to order room service, we called lobby 4 times till someone answered and they gave me a number to order room service (with the attitude we really don't care) After 6 attempts finally somebody answer, very hard to order because there is NO MENU believe it or not. In the check out, the receptionist ask us how was our stay I asked him terrible, he just smirked and not said another word. I would not recommend this hotel.

The Movenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi in Marrakech was probably the best hotel on our 16 day tour. From the lavish entrance to the two swimming pools to the spacious rooms, everything was excellent. The only complaint would be the long walk to some rooms as there are 3 or 4 buildings. Breakfast was excellent and location was very good.

Upon our arrival we waited over 45 minutes to begin the checkin process. Unfortunately this process took so long our children missed out on checking out the kids club, which theyâd been excited about. This left them in tears. We asked to speak to a manager about this and spoke with Anas who apologized and offered points. The room was great and the other services we received pleasant.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, so grand, has numerous restaurants, activities, a gorgeous pool, and the most incredible service! Itâs also in a fantastic location and walking distance to the heart of the Medina! Badr and Lahcen at the reception helped us greatly with lovely restaurant recommendations and continuously checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! We also had tea and dessert at the snack bar by the pool and Hamza was so kind and brought out a sampler of free desserts for us since they didnât have the dessert we wanted. Absolutely wonderful experience and the best hotel Iâve ever stayed in, I canât wait to stay here again!

Overall the hotel is beautiful. Great location. Many reading nooks, and crannies to read, talk quietly or people watch. The rooms are well appointed. My room 4417, DID NOT have a view. It was a "view" of the roof of another building. Very minor issues, no trash can in the living area, only one in the bathroom, the shower Gel dispenser was empty, tv didn't work, but I unplugged it and it was fixed. It took about an hour for the shower gel. I had my own. So I wan't held up. No heat for chilly nights. We had an electric power outage (between 2am - 4am). We were notified. I slept through it. BUT, when I got up the internet was out, therefore the TV was out. I was checking out later in the morning, so it wasn't a big deal. HOWEVER, upon check out I was informed that my room charges must be paid in cash, because of the outage. That was a PROBLEM, more importably , not my problem. But it was. I was told by the front desk staff to "just go to the ATM". I intentionally don't take a debit card or want to take cash advances from my AMEX at an ATM. I wanted the points for the hotel stay. and spa visit. Additionally, I didn't appreciate that their problem became mine. When I went into my cash reserve for international emergencies, Each $20 bill was inspected for the condition of the bill. 3 of my $20 bills were not perfect and returned to me. That was all the cash I had! So be aware that any USD will be carefully inspected for slight tears, ink marks, and overwork. They must be in prestine condition! A friend loaned me the money, The hotel should have accepted total and full responsibility for this situation. Maybe they should have gone old school and wrote my card number down or the 'ole slide credit card machine. Hopefully that experience was a "one-off". I would return again, the whole vibe of the hotel was great. Service, location, and evenings at the bar/pool with lounge music was special. The buffet was varied and had something for vegans, pescatarians, and meat lovers. Nightly and daily morning Moroccan tea

Much as the hotel was attractive enough it certainly is not a 5* The biggest complaint that I would have is the poor running of this hotel. It is a large hotel but the reception area is far too small. There is always a queue and it is difficult to get through to them on your room phone. The reception staff, in my opinion are lacking in basic training such as greeting the guest in a pleasant manner and being able to attend to matters in a quick and efficient manner. I was meeting my daughter there and was directed to a room when I checked in. I noticed that it was a double instead of a twin ( that had been confirmed when I checked in) and so rang reception. I was told someone would be up to take me to a new room âŠ. An hour later and 4 calls with further promises of someone coming, my daughter rang to say she was in the room and where was I ! We managed to find each other with no help from the hotel and though I complained about being left for an hour, on no occasion was a follow up or proper apology offered. A glass of wine around the pool took 45 mins to come and on another occasion I rang reception 3 times in the space of an hour to ask for water ( this should have been left during servicing of the room) I was told each time someone would be âstraight upâ but no one ever was. We then had to go out for dinner and so stopped at reception to ask about the water. The receptionist was actually speechless- he was gormless and he had to go off to find someone who likewise did not really know what to say. I just said can you not just get someone to put water into our room- itâs not difficult - what is the problem Absolutely useless. There are more occasions where reception/ concierge/ guest relations were so unhelpful. No one seems to be able to make decisions and frankly there is clearly little training and too few receptionists. When I checked out I wasnât even asked the normal â did you enjoy your stay ..â etc I am writing this review with a hope that the hotel reads it. It needs seriously looked at I travel a lot but I would not stay at a Mövenpick hotel anywhere in the world after my experience here sadly.

The temperature is currently 62°F and is expected to drop down to 53°F tonight however, my room has no heat. Iâve called the front desk and service several times and they told me there was no heat throughout the entire hotel. I had asked for extra blankets just to be bought a half a blanket for the bed not even enough to fully cover a person. The front desk and service to the room is very slow. They seem more annoyed that Iâve called multiple times, after waiting over a 1.5 hours, because Iâm freezing in my room I will not recommend this hotel.

Cons: They have a rooster on site which woke everyone up in my block at 5am each morning and continued being noisy for a couple of hours. In another block my colleagues were kept awake by staff partying in the early hours after they finished their evening shift. Ridiculous this can be allowed. I came away from this trip completely exhausted!

Currently staying here . First impression of the hotel is very positive.. hotel is lovely and staff are very welcoming but service by the poolside is diabolical .. you have to wait more than 30/40mins to place food or drinks orders. Only one staff serving the entire pool area while 6/7 staff standing around manning the sit in area . Even when you request to place an order numerous times , no one comes . Breakfast gets chaotic at weekends and itâs evident on the staffs faces . Very abrupt and stressful vibes . No menu online on display or available for restaurants . Itâs very disappointing as I had really liked the hotel on day one .

This hotel was booked for us by our agent as a luxury 5 star hotel, superior room with balcony. We wanted it just for our last night close to the airport before our departure. When we initially arrived it was very luxurious as we entered, large and well very grand and 5 star. Then we arrived in what we can only describe as a 3 star room, carpet worn in places (as they also were in the corridors upstairs). The 'balcony' had two chairs and a table, but area too small to use comfortably. Very busy everywhere, expected in such a large hotel, however it was being woken from 4am onwards by people noisily arriving/departing in corridor outside, then the peacock on a roof top opposite started their very distinct calling every few mins for hours on end. Breakfast buffet style in the very large dining room had very good choices, however again very busy trying to get things that had to be replaced, staff were doing a very good job on that however it was such huge demand by so many people. I certainly wouldn't stay again.

My wife and i have just been to the Movenpick Marrakech for the 3rd time and once again it was a superb stay and great value for money. The Hotel and grounds are immaculate, the breakfasts are great and the staff are really helpful, attentive and cannot do enough for you. The location is only 10 mins via Taxi from the Medina so you can have the hustle and bustle then escape back to the hotel to chill. We were staying at the hotel to celebrate my wifes birthday and Anas Kasmaoui (guest relations manager) was brilliant. Not only did he upgrade our room but also arranged for a Cake in the room when we got in. I would also like to mention Ghali ( Reception ) who could not have been anymore helpful and arranged for us to get the room a little earlier. Both Anas and Ghali are a credit to the Movenpick team and examples of why this is a lovely place to stay. Definitely Recommend a Visit Justin & Theresa

to celebrate the birthday of my partner we set up a short visit to Morroc. I selected Mövenpick Hotel chain because I have been already in other hotels of the same brand and I always enjoyed my stay. I was contacted the day before my arrival (booked on booking) by the hotel administrator (Aboubakr) in order to have a faster check in. Once in hotel we had a wonderfull surprise. We were pick up as guests of the month and we had a triple upgrade heading us to lodge in the best Suite (140m2 of room or better flat). This made our vacation even better than expected. I must admit that this hotel is very big but super well maintained. clean swimming pools (3), efficient and well equipped gym, several restaurants, gougeous breakfast, daily chocolate testing, free marrocan tea and cookies testing,....and much more. The staff is always happy to help and very friendly and smiling. The hotel is located 30 min walking from the down town but in a strategic spot to enjoy all the attraction that Marrakesh offers. It was a memorable stay here in Marrakesh. Strongly recommended.

Merci aussi à Omar, qui nous a trÚs bien servis au restaurant Marcelona, à Zakariya, grùce à qui notre chambre (6008) était toujours impeccable, à Khadija, qui nous a trÚs bien accueillis au spa, au chef de salle du restaurant Dehbi et son hÎtesse d'accueil Sabira, qui nous ont permis de passer une excellente soirée.

Somewhat of a mixture. Good pool area but restaurants can be a bit chaotic. Some waiters havenât got the best grasp of English so make sure you make it very clear .. Iâm not sure Iâd call it 5 star more like 4 - the rooms are big but a bit old fashioned in places. Our one was on the main road which is very noisy â ok if you donât want to go bed till 2am but otherwise tip of the day is insist on a room not on the road - I did that but they still gave me one probably coz I was on a low room rate. That was pretty shoddy for supposed 5 star so just ignore the management responses - they donât do anything about your feedback they just say thanks coz they know you probably wonât be back anyway - this is an Arabic country so they have different outlook on being candid đ

A 5* experience it is not. Booked a superior room with view and balcony for 3 adults shown to a room set up for 2. Had to wait for an hour for an extra bed to be brought in by which time its 2230 and then had to request a third set of towels gowns cups etc. Reported broken bedside power sockets day 1 told maintenance would address the issue. Reported it again on day 2 and added in a blocked shower that wreaks of urine only to be advised i would need to be in the room when technical team arrive. Day 3 report the faults to reception who advised maintenance would meet me at the room. 30mins later still sat waiting, another call to reception, the building manager is on their way, 20mins later still no sign another call another promise. Finally, building manager has arrived although no what the issue were so had to explain again overcoming my language barriers before they called for maintenance. Finally, maintenance have arrived and are now looking at the issues. 2hrs of my time wasted but at least the next occupier of the room will benefit but it probably explains all of the missing tiles from the pool. Never experienced such shoddy customer service in the decades Iâve spent travelling the planet for both business and pleasure. Would not rush to stay in a Movenpick again.

Le personnel a été trÚs attentionné et nous a mis en surclassement comme nous ne restions qu une nuit! Nous avons pu bénéficier d une super belle chambre, avec une trÚs belle vue sur la piscine. Nous avons pu également faire le check-in à 12h alors que nous devions normalement le faire à 15h. Merci encore au personnel pour ce geste puisque nous restions qu une seule nuit! Merci également à Lahcen Abahri pour le suivi. Le spa est aussi trÚs agréable et le massage relaxant était vraiment trÚs bien. La seule chose est que je trouve que le prix de 1000 dirhams est trop élevé pour une heure de massage.

I have to say our experiences were mixed on this hotel. We arrived at 11.30 and were told our room would not be available until 15.00. We went for lunch and then sat in the lobby watching guests turn up and be taken straight to their rooms. At 14.45 I spoke to reception who then tried to phone the cleaner. After more wasted minutes we were taken to our room. Next morning we discovered our sliding doors did not lock (we were on the ground floor) and the fridge which we needed for medication did not work. More hours of our holiday wasted while we waited.for this to be put right. We then decided to use the hotel spa for a hamman. Although this was more expensive than outside we just thought it would be more convenient. However when we turned up on Friday morning the 'hamman' was.actually just use of the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi (which was out of order). We were offered a 20% discount because 30% of the experience wasn't working! Having been left disappointed by the experience we went to use the pool only to witness more guests booking in well before 15.00. Enough! We then went to speak to guest relations who tried to assure us that all guests are treated equally regards check in and then tried to explain to us - experienced travellers who have used hammans in Turkey and Tunisia many times - what a hamman is. The result was that we were given a voucher for a hamman treatment, We also needed to call reception because our TV stopped.working. Every single morning we were woken up super early by the cocktails roaming free in the grounds of the hotel and when we mentioned this were told they were 'tradition' at the hotel. Sleep obviously isn't! During our stay the hotel hosted two conferences and they completely took over the hotel. Service fell over the edge of a cliff and they totally took over the large pool with sun beds removed so their functions could.be accommodated. On our final day checkout was supposed to be at midday but our room key cards were deactivated before 11.00 and we had to rely on housekeeping to let us back into our room. Lo and behold when we came to book out the cost of our free hamman treatment had been added to our bill. When we queried this we were told they would sort it out and email our final bill to us. Knowing that we had a pending âŹ500 payment on our credit card (which the hotel takes from everyone when they book in) we were not happy with this and waited around for another 45 minutes until this was sorted. That said the cleaning, kitchen and bar staff were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast is amazing and the choices are astounding and delicious. You really need to try amlou and pancakes at least once. The free chocolate available between 5 and 6 is fantastic as are the in house creators of these little delights!

We have just arrived home from a 2 week stay at the hotel. Whilst not 100% perfect we had very little complaints. We also never experienced any of the issues in the negative reviews they have received here on Tripadvisor. The check in was smooth and efficient but we were given a room that was facing the road, not conducive to a peaceful sit out on the balcony. A couple of phone calls and a trip to reception and we were promptly moved to an inward facing room in the same block. Room: We stayed in a Deluxe Double room which was clean and had loads of space for the two of us and our golf clubs! Water was always available in the room and hopped up daily. Storage for clothes was far more than any other hotel room we have stayed in, so we had no danger of living out of a suitcase! We did have a slight issue with the room safe but this was sorted out very quickly. Food & Drink: Breakfast was, as per most reviews, great! Plenty of choice, eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Bottled water and juices were plentiful. Evening Buffet - As were Half board we visited this a few times. The food here was very tasty and again no complaints as there was plenty of choice. You only had to pay for additional drinks over and above water here! Marcelona - we found out by default that this restaurant was included as part of the Half board package albeit with a reduced menu. We ate here a few times also and the food was great and tasty. Dhabi - This was not included in the Half Board and we only found this out when we visited the restaurant. Yes it was expensive but a real modern twist on traditional Moroccan food. We really enjoyed it and definitely worth a visit. Pool Bars & Food - A small but good choice at both pools typical burgers, pizza , sandwiches and salads. This was at both of the main pools as there is no apparent food or drink service at the adult pool. Opportunity - The hotel could make guests aware of what is included as part of full board or half board on check in as we only found out by visiting the restaurants what was and was not included. Opportunity - The hotel could have a team member from the pool bar visit the adult pool regularly to see if anyone would like food or drinks. We only spent one day at this pool as a result. Pools : 3 pools at the hotel all clean and yes there were a few tiles missing here and there and in the lower of the two main pools there was a light fitting hanging out of the pool wall that was not repaired during out stay and there was quite a long length of cable in the pool. Plenty of loungers and towels available but we were there in a quieter time. A map of the hotel for guest would be helpful as it was not clear where the toilets were at the pool areas. There was plenty signage round the hotel but none included the toilets. It did not appear there were any toilets at or near the adult pool, and by the other pools the toilets were down stairs that were not makred either. The staff at the hotel were all great and an asset to the hotel. Always smiling and very very polite. Special mention to the restaurant team at the Breakfast and Buffet so friendly and welcoming. The team in Marcelona were first class and as we ate there a few times they got to know the wine we liked and were friendly and chatty. There was a couple of conferences on at the hotel during our stay. During both there were times where at least one of the pool areas was taken over for conference delegates to get food and drinks. During the day this led to the other pool not affected being busy. And in the evenings when the conference had a function at the large pool the main outside bar area was not accessible for other hotel guests so there is nowhere outside to sit and enjoy a drink. It did not really impact us as we went out of the hotel on those evenings but something to be aware of and perhaps something the hotel should inform other hotel guests of. Check out was easy for us as we completed this the evening before to prevent any delays in the morning as we had a relatively early departure. We travelled with 2 cases, two golf bags and the usual hand luggage for 2. We called in plenty of time to get our bags picked up to allow us to get a quick breakfast before our pick up, 2 phone calls later we still had no sign of someone coming to get our bags. Eventually we had to get ourselves from our room ( ironically we were in the furthest block from the main entrance) as ou can imagine this was not ideal and we also missed breakfast as a result. We were eventually approached as we got near reception but by this time were so close to one of the exits it was not worth anyone helping us ! This was not an ideal way of departing the hotel and I mentioned this to the person at reception when I dropped the keys off. The reception was not busy and we could understand why no one came to pick up our bags in 45 minutes, definitely something for the hotel to resolve! All in all a great place to stay and the hotel is not far from being top class in all areas and they just need a few minor improvements. Itâs in a great location and was not far from the golf courses we were playing and not far from M Avenue (shopping and restaurants). Would we recommend this hotel to anyone , of course we would and when we next plan to visit Marrakech the Movenpick Mansour Edhabbi Marrakech will definitely on the list !

As I am notoriously hard to please I am very pleasantly surprised and definitely relieved after reading some negative reviews which I can only consider to be totally unfair to this lovely hotel which I feel is so worthy of its Five star status. We are only half way through our holiday here but so far we are so pleased that I wanted to review straight away. Yes there are a few niggles but very minor ones. My main one would be that the daytime cocktails menu is more varied than in the evening and I canât understand why the same ones cannot be made available at all times. The Breakfast cereals should be branded ones and not cardboard cornflakes and the duvet is too thick for warm weather but Iâd rather be too warm than too cold so not a huge problem and none of this would put me off booking here again. I had read that there needs to be more maintenance with broken tiles, chipped and scuffed paintwork and threadbare carpets, well there is always going to be wear and tear but as long as there is evidence of ongoing repairs then why should that be an issue, and there is certainly constant work being carried out to rectify such matters including gardeners and workmen tending to the beautiful gardens and surroundings, which I very much appreciate. The Hotel staff and management seem to take great pride in the place and it shows. The staff are all very friendly, polite and professional and make you feel very welcome and valued, from the pool staff through to catering and hospitality. The evening Buffett is fabulous, very reasonably priced with, really good quality food and the staff were particularly lovely here. Lunch time snack bars at both pools have a good selection and again the food is excellent. The pools are all gorgeous with the perfect temperature water, not too cold at all and the sun loungers are so comfy plus whatever time of day we arrive there are plenty available so no worries about having to get up early to secure them, we have even had a spare one at times to put our bags etc on. I had a wonderful weekend at the Movenpick Mansour Marrakech Hotel. The property itself is exquisite and beautifully decadent. The food was excellent, with a fantastic breakfast selection. I loved the traditional Moroccan lanterns throughout the grounds, as well as the peacocks strolling around. When the waiters told me to watch out for pizza-loving white rabbits, I thought they were jokingâbut they werenât! The rooms were immaculate, as were the gardens. The pools were fantastic, with a relaxed atmosphere and very comfortable sunbeds. I also enjoyed spending time in the yoga studio. I could happily have stayed much longer. Service was the only weak point. Check-in at reception was painfully slow, and the receptionist kept disappearing with guestsâ passports, which created a bit of chaos. To avoid delays at check-out, I chose not to charge anything to my room. The waiting staff were also quite slow and difficult to get the attention of, but since it was Ramadan and temperatures were around 30°C, I can completely understand why things moved at a gentler pace. The hotelâs location was excellent, and the taxi rank just outside was very convenient. Overall, I absolutely loved this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it. Iâll definitely stay here again when I return to Marrakech.

The Mövenpick was a real treat with its beautiful pool and lush garden setting. Relaxing by the water was already a joy, but Najiaâs leg massage by the pool made it unforgettable. She worked with just the right balance of pressure and care, leaving my legs completely refreshed. The sound of the water and the calm atmosphere added even more to the experience. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. I would definitely recommend booking a session with Najia to anyone staying there.

Where to start with this one! We arrived at the Movenpick to be greeted by a porter who swiftly took our luggage for us to drift through the beautiful entrance hall and to reception. This is where things took their initial turn for the worse. Reception can cater for maximum of two clients at any onetime and for such a large hotel is completely inadequate. After lots of waiting, we were eventually seen too by a quite abrupt lady that provided little to no hotel information apart to say our rooms would not be available until 3. No hint of the possibility of early check-in even though asked (ok fair enough but be polite). ÂŁ495 was reserved on our card for tourist tax (max ÂŁ25 each), extra's and breakages. Not so much of a problem for us, but it could ruin someone's holiday who only has a debit card as that cash is no longer available to spend during your stay. We were left to find our own way around and kill some 3 hours. I have to say the grounds are very pretty with mature foliage and mature palm trees, which looks even better lit up at night. On closer inspection there is definitely a need for lots of maintenance with cracked and broken paviors. On eventually checking in to the room the lift area looked dirty and had scratched graffiti on the wood with some carpets looking thread bear. The room itself was large with a large comfy bed. The shower room, again sizable but look very tired and at the very least in need of a re-grout. The balcony is tiny and filled with 2 chairs and small table but little room to actually manoeuvre and sit comfortably. No welcome drinks and again lack of any information including a lack of room service - but they purport to be 5 star! We changed and walked down to the pool... far too few sunbeds and the whole area looked quite dilapidated, including broken parasols (See Photo). The drinks are stupidly expensive, the food not so bad but of very good quality when you can eventually get some service. Too few waiters for the number of guests. At night if you sleep with the patio doors open or half a jar be prepared to hear what I can only describe as karaoke Benidorm style noise pollution coming from a nearby night club. Not the chilled experience thus far. Next day we were pleasantly surprised by our welcome by the restaurant manager along with his staff who shone out. The selection and quality of breakfast was excellent - no complaints here. That day we attempted to change some sterling to MAD but each and every time through the day (and subsequent days) - they never held local currency at reception but offer a bureau de change service ...go figure?? That evening we had an issue with the door card, and it took 3 trips to the reception to get resolved. Don't bother asking reception staff for anything as they either don't understand, provide conflicting information or are just plain rude. The hotel is also surrounded by lots of ongoing construction which presents noise and dust issues. The evening waiting staff although extremely courteous are rushed off their feet and seem very stressed at times, so expect long waits. Our final day was also ruined when we went to get a sunbed by the pool to find all beds have been removed (See photo) due to setting up a stage for a conference - there was no prior warning of this so you can imagine ours and other guest amazement, annoyance and sheer anger by some... again, reception staff didn't careless. No offer for a discount which i personally think would have been the right thing to do or even complimentary treatment at the overpriced spar! Such poor form from even a 2-star hotel, so 5-star...come On! checking out, I wasn't asked how my stay was and no offer to collect bags or offer of late check out which was asked for - all they wanted to know was if I had vacated the room. We so enjoyed Marrakechand and with the exception of this hotel can highly recommend, just don't stay at faulty towers AKA Movenpick. Hopefully this helps.

Me and my friends stayed at mövenpick for 10 days and had a great time with minimal complaints. Nice, fresh and clean hotel. Mohamed Tea guy in the lobby makes the best tea, super nice and friendly. The breakfast was decent just a bit hard to find space to sit if you come a little late. Me and my friends got a room that didnât satisfy us and we got a new one the day after we checked in. So just be patient and your problems will be solved. Otherwise the pool was pretty packed under our stay at the hotel but they make reeeeeally good pizza and shisha. The gym was nice, had everything you need and more.

The restaurants, pools, service, and facilities were all great. I highly recommend MovenPick. The choice of food for breakfast and dinner was elaborate, meeting all our needs. There is even an adult pool where no children are allowed, and this is a very thoughtful addition to the hotel. The Hotel is a short walk to Avenue M, which has lovely shops, cafes, and restaurants, and a short walk to a large Mall.

Unfortunately this is not a 5 star hotel, it has the outward appearances of one but when you have experienced the st Regis, Shangri La you realise there is a comparative difference: 5 star is about service and making your guest enjoy the service: Starting with the reception staff. I would recommend that they retrain reception. The checking service needs to be vastly improved. Nobody at the hotel disclosed the third pool, which is a lot quieter and calmer, we stumbled upon this, the hotel spa or any amenties. The best run service is at breakfast with Sami who I believe is a pastry chef, Mouchien and Hassan who served the very outer courtyard of the hotel breakfast area. The waiters there truly understand what service is, they were on the ball, attentive and ran a very organised right ship. This was the only 5 star service. At the secondary main pool, there were no towels and rather than the pool boy simply say give me 5 minutes and I will go and get it, he gave me directions to walk and get our towels: The cleaning of the room. The rooms were cleaned, however where you note the difference is the hotel maid failing to change out the shower gel, leaving the empty bottle there and putting the replacement new bottle by the window. For me this is a personal lesson, go cheap and you will get a cheaper quality of service. Unfortunately I will not be returning to the Mövenpick on my return to Marrakech. I would rather pay the additional money and stay at the Four Seaons.

I visited with my two boys and, as a professional and highly regarded quality manager in my profession, Iâm very picky when it comes to service, food and standards. This hotel not only lived up to my expectations, it actually exceeded them by far. The pool was fantastic, clean and safe for kids, the food (especially breakfast) was superb, and the rooms were spotless and top-notch. The gym was also great, clean and had all the necessary equipment for a gym rat like me. Special thanks to Salah at Reception, who made us feel super welcome from start to finish, and also to the entire team for their outstanding service, keep up the amazing work! Probably the best hotel experience Iâve ever had, and I have been to many other five star hotels with significantly higher price tags.

Het Movenpick hotel is een en al top. Met name Lahcen Abahri, hij heeft ons enorm welkom geheten maar ook gedurende de reis goed geholpen. De rest van het personeel was ook erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid, voor iedereen keus. Hygiënische kamer en er is aan elk detail gedacht. Valet parking was ook heel fijn, de auto werd voor ons gehaald wanneer we die nodig hadden. Al met al was ons verblijf top en echt niks op aan te merken.

This is such a beautiful hotel with equally beautiful staff. Breakfast has a large selection to choose from and Hasan was exceptional; attentive, having our juice and water ready when we sat down, always happy and polite, ensuring we were ok. Mouhssine throughout the whole stay helped with the luggage, every time he saw me greeted me nicely. The grounds were immaculate day and night and I looked forward to chocolate hour. Marrakech comes alive after sunset. The hotel is a short walk from shops, restaurants and a mall. There is a mini mart just a 2 min walk from the hotel. Can't wait to come back!

We are family of four visiting Marrakech and feel so lucky to stay in Movenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi. Well clean rooms, delicious breakfast, polite helpful staff. Chocolate hour is amazing. Pool is clean with lots of towels, sun beds and umbrellas. Reception and concierge were helpful at night and during the day. Special special thanks to Lycern for helping us with rooms and treating us on upgrading our rooms and on complimentary fruits and chocolates in our rooms. Lycern consistently shows compassion and goes out of his way to support others. Heâs generous with his time and deeply considerate of other peopleâs feelings. Tea guy Muhammad was cheerful and served delicious tea whole day. Hospitality of this hotel is amazing. Great Team All the best guys!!!

From the very start, this was a terrible experience. Check-in was delayed by two full hours and handled with no professionalism. On top of that, a headboard for the bed that we requested on day one was never delivered, even after five days. Things only got worse. Both myself and my two children became unwell, so I asked for the included breakfast to be sent to our room, as we couldnât walk to the restaurant. Despite explaining this to at least eight different staff members across reception, guest services, housekeeping, and room service, there was zero empathy or care. The only response I got was: âIf you pay, we give you food.â Six hours later, still no food, and not even water. By far the worst Accor hotel I have ever experienced.

The entrance and gardens are beautiful and gives much needed shade. There are peacocks roosters chickens a rabbit tortoise and 2 cats in the grounds which was fun. The reception is very slow and often has long queues. The outside bar/food area is again very slow also. The food however is lovely and has a proper pizza oven. The music being played in this area too loud and doesn't suit customers. There are 3 pools. The quiet pool is for adults only. Issue with people reserving their sun beds from very early. There was a need for additional sunbeds as most booked by 10am. I also think that non residents were using pool. There was no checks on pool users and towels freely given to anyone. Our room was with a pool view. Large bathroom comfy bed. Furniture needed replaced eg stained. Breakfast was presented well with enough choice for everyone. However hotel is needing an update re decorating. Taxis available outside hotel for trips. Don't think was worth 5 star value.

Very disappointed with movenpik. This hotel has taken ÂŁ330 from me as a deposit damage waiver during check in. During check out I was informed this would be refunded within 48 hours, they have failed to do so and are not replying to any emails. They have responded once to say please contact your bank. I am having to pursue through the bank by disputing the transaction. Very poor practice and deliberate attempts to ignore paying me back as I'm back in the UK and can only contact them by email. Be careful. Not surprised as it took them more than 1 hour to check us in.

Awful service. The television remote is non existent, meaning the TV screen remains on always, even during the night. Wires hidden in the wall so I wasn't able to locate the on/off button.Despite asking many times, and even to management for the remote, they keep telling me how right I am and how they'll fix it immediately. Yet after 5nts it's still not sorted. Ridiculous service, absolutely appalled our sleep has been ruined because they cannot keep to their promises for such a simple issue. Worst management I've seen.

Iâm really torn with this hotel. When you first walk in, it is stunning. The lobby and reception area are beautiful as is the entire outdoor complex. Walking to your room at any time of the day is a delight because of the plants and trees and fountains. At night itâs even prettier because itâs lit up however, the complex overall needs a good facelift and clean. Within the rooms, the carpets are heavily stained and the edging is falling apart and rotting away. The doors are dirty and everything just feels like it needs a good upgrade. Our bedroom was an incredible size with a very comfy bed, plenty of bottled water daily and I loved the little balcony overlooking all the palm trees with peacocks roaming around. The bathroom was enormous as is the first all in shower with great water pressure. The service varies. When you are eating and drinking in any restaurant or bar, they are very attentive and will do anything for you as do the cleaning staff however, the reception area while friendly seemed a bit disorganised. Upon checking in I found dried poo all over the toilet shower head so I asked for this to be cleaned. No one came and so I had to ask one of the maids to do it a day later. At check in I wasnât really provided any information on the hotel in particular the breakfast and dinner is prepaid for. I had to find this out for myself however every day the timings seemed to change. One person would say the pool bar opened at 12 but when you got there it wouldnât open until 1. Dinner was sometimes at 7 or 7:30. I loved this hotel for so many reasons but feel itâs not quite where it should be.

We recently stayed at the Mövenpick Marrakech and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. Pros: Early check-in was kindly allowed, which I appreciated. The reception area is air-conditioned and comfortable. The location is convenient close to Menara Mall, taxi distance to the square, and near some upscale shopping areas. Cons: The staff were generally unfriendly and unhelpful, particularly at reception unless you rip them first. The hotel does not seem to regulate guest behavior. The pool area was overcrowded, towels were often left on the floor, and the atmosphere felt chaotic. The property appeared short-staffed, which affected service quality throughout. Rooms are small for the price, and definitely not up to what you would expect from a 5-star hotelâcloser to 3 or 4 stars at best. Cleanliness was lacking: lights were dusty, and bathrooms did not even have proper exhaust systems. Breakfast was disorganized and unpleasant. There werenât enough seats, food stations were chaotic, and some guests hoarded food with no regulation from staff. The much-advertised âchocolate hourâ was disappointingâmore like a âchocolate minute.â Guests were not encouraged to try different chocolates, the chef strictly limited portionsto two chocolates per person, and seemed to selectively enforce rules, which created an uncomfortable experience. Overall, while the hotel has a good location and some potential, the poor service, lack of organization, and subpar facilities made the stay disappointing. I would not consider it a true 5-star experience.

The bar was closed. Never have I been to a 5 star hotel that did not give any welcome drinks especially in the heat at Morocco. Once all checked in the staff did not tell us where our room was. There are 5 buildings at the hotel and we was left searching for ourself . Took us 15 minutes and talking with 2 other staff members to find our room (plus 45 mins to check in). When we got in the room there was a funny smell from the room. Overall not happy with the check in process.

Salah at reception has been outstanding â he kindly arranged for us to check in earlier than the usual time and has been extremely helpful in addressing any questions or requests weâve had. His professionalism and warm manner have made our stay even more enjoyable. Mariyum has also been so kind and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we feel comfortable. The staff were superb. Our liaison was Nadia, and she was excellent. She contacted us before arrival and accommodated our needs without hesitation. The gym is exceptional and better than most private gyms. The breakfast is amazing.
Cons: The sauna and steamroom come at an additional cost, which was disappointing. We did not get to avail of these facilities due to the costs involved. The television quality and channel selection are poor and not even worth switching on.

We spent a week here in july25. The hotel is excellent. I really cannot fault anything. We arrived at 12 and they arranged an early check in for us at 1pm and also gave us an extended check out due to a night flight. The hotel grounds are well kept, the pools are warm and inviting and the breakfast is very good. We used both restaurants by the pool and the food/service was top quality. Been to Marrakech multiple times and will be returning here, and have also recommended to two multiple people who have now booked

Cons: The main thing was AA in the middle of a slaughter house there was meat chopping everywhere and you canât park your car near 20 minutes. Walk from the taxi to the hotel with your luggage and it stank rats cats anything you can think of they were it is the most awful place. I would not even recommend it to an enemy. Cannot believe Booking.com has given such high rating did not expect that from Booking.com as we booked from Booking.com in the past but we were shocked that Rait is high on a property like this. We stayed at the Mövenpick in Marrakesh and couldnât fault it. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. The staff were all fantastic and really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Oumnia was always so friendly and welcoming when greeting us at breakfast. Our 1 year old utterly adored Mosaab and would love sitting next to him and watch him making tea. All the staff around the pool were brilliant too and couldnât do enough for us. Weâd highly recommend and would love to come back again soon

The movenpick was ok. Beautiful communal grounds with subpar rooms. My room was advertised as a room with a garden view and ended up with a room facing the back of the adjoining hotel. (We checked in around 11 hoping for an early check in which unfortunately they were unable to provide⊠which i realize is a request and not the hotels obligation) After almost 24 hrs traveling we honestly just wanted to shower and relax so we didnât ask for a room change). The AC could have definitely been cooler and in room fridge never went above lukewarm. The pool was closed daily at sunset which was disappointing considering the summer weather in Marrakesh. Free breakfast, tea and chocolate hour were great. No entertainment or amenities provided. had to call down to room service or stop at the bar for ice which can be a huge inconvenience. They have a free gym but yoga is an add on. Movenpick was in a good location. next to M ave. and Manera mall and just a short taxi ride from the Medina. However with so many hotels in the area to chose from I dont think Movenpick is anything special.

Cons: Dâabord, les terrasses des chambres sont vraiment minuscules : une fois les deux chaises et la table en place, il est pratiquement impossible de sây installer confortablement de prendre un verre ou de mangĂ© ce qui est frustrant dans un Ă©tablissement de ce niveau. Ensuite, comme souvent Ă Marrakech, beaucoup de clients rĂ©servent dĂšs le matin des transats autour de la piscine sans y rester, ce qui empĂȘche dâautres clients de profiter de lâespace. Malheureusement, la direction ne fait absolument rien pour encadrer cette pratique, ce qui crĂ©e une ambiance tendue et dĂ©sorganisĂ©e autour de la piscine. Mais le plus grave reste lâattitude dâune personne de la rĂ©ception de journĂ©e. Alors que nous avions calculĂ© ensemble le montant total du sĂ©jour, que jâavais dĂ©jĂ rĂ©glĂ©, il a profitĂ© de mon absence temporaire (pendant que je discutais Ă lâextĂ©rieur avec le voiturier) pour refacturer mon ami. âž» This was our 9th time visiting Marrakech, and we chose Movenpick because we were bringing our baby for the first time. We wanted the comfort of a resort over a traditional riad, thinking it would be more convenient and family-friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel didnât meet our expectations. The hotel is starting to feel a bit run down and service was often slow. For example, there was no room service menu in the room. You have to call and speak to the chef directly to find out whatâs available. We requested extra water bottles several times as we were travelling with a baby, but it took three days for them to arrive. In the end, we had to order water ourselves using a local food delivery app. The pool and grounds were the highlight. They were beautifully maintained and the staff in those areas were especially kind and welcoming. However, the check-in process felt cold and robotic. There was no welcome drink or mint tea offered, something you receive even in lower-star hotels across Marrakech. Thereâs a lot of unused indoor space throughout the hotel, which feels like a missed opportunity. The shops on-site are overpriced and empty. During our entire stay, we didnât see a single guest inside. The staff working in the shops mostly sat around on their phones. Room cleanliness was another letdown. It was clear the rooms werenât being thoroughly cleaned. At one point, we had to ask for vacuuming after several days of crumbs being left on the floor by our toddler. While we did our best to keep the room tidy, the attention to detail from housekeeping was lacking. Breakfast had a good variety and was one of the better aspects of the stay. However, the poolside snack bar was extremely overpriced and lacked flavour. We tried it once and didnât return. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I truly believe there are better hotels in Marrakech that offer better service and value for money. One place worth checking out within the hotel is the MFF CafĂ©. They serve great coffee, but do be mindful of the bread baskets as birds often peck at the uncovered bread, which can be off-putting. Special thanks to the young gentleman serving mint tea from 11.30am to 7.30pm.

All the hotel staff provided an extraordinary level of customer service that deeply enriched our experience. Sami, the talented pastry chef greeted us every morning at the fabulous breakfast buffet; Bahija, the hostess at breakfast enlightened us on the great variety of healthy Moroccan cuisine; and Moussab welcomed us warmly with Moroccan tea outside every day. We also appreciated Younes from the food sector. They all gave the most positive impression of the Moroccan people that reflects very well on the Movenpick brand.

Imane on reception was a standout Gem! She helped us with local restaurant suggestions and also booking restaurants for us! I hope she is as valued as she deserves to be! The room was clean comfortable and had everything we needed! Very nice swimming pool and great gym! The location was closer to everything than we realised which was amazing too!

The music around the pool wasnât appreciated by any of the guests that we spoke with and although I wasnât keen, it could have been played at a lower volume with more of a variety as background music rather than as loud as it was.

Service outstanding nothing too much trouble anything you need they are right on it, we were assisted by Nadia throughout our stay who is guest relations she is a wonderful host and really went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The management team in this hotel are really going above and beyond to make guests their number one priority. The food in the Marcelona is exceptional and the breakfast is top notch.

Particular mention of the staffs that were helpful were as follows: Lahcen- the guest relations officer who came to help me when I was waiting for 1 hour at the reception to check in. Checking in can be improved. I waited from 2.35 to 4pm to check in. If not for the delay in the check-in, I would rate this hotel 10/10. However thanks to Lahcen, he managed to come to our rescue. The rest of the stay was awesome. Particular mention of the team and staffâs name that I recall were as follows: Swimming pool team- Do not have the names Breakfast restaurant staff- Khatijah, Chef Sami, and team Concierge team - Fatimah and her team mate The drivers - Mohamed and team Thanks to all the above for making our stay pleasurable. The Moroccan tea expert - Mohamed. Special kudos to him. Very nice chap.

Cons: LâĂ©tat gĂ©nĂ©ral de lâĂ©tablissement qui nâest pas bien entretenu mais revendique et facture 5 Ă©toiles. Le fait que des travaux soient entrepris sans offre de rĂ©duction pour compenser la gĂȘne occasionnĂ©e par le bruit. Au lieu de construire un nouveau rooftop, lâĂ©tablissement devrait plutĂŽt rĂ©parer les ascenseurs qui ne fonctionnent pas, les moquettes tachĂ©es, dĂ©chirĂ©es et gondolĂ©es, changer les carrelages de salle de bain qui sâeffritent, etc.

My room (when I eventually got it) was a really nice size, very quiet. Pools were decent, I preferred the quiet ones, and a good range of food. The staff were great.
Cons: I was initially given a different room than I'd booked, view onto concrete, and right above the restaurant so when there was music it reverberates around the whole room. Reception staff moved me to the room I'd actually booked with no problem when I went back.

Cons: There was no vacuum cleaning in the rooms even though there was a carpet. The bed sheets were not changed in 6 days. The reception staff were rude and not helpful. Almost all members of staff especially in the restaurants were extremely slow and rude.

The check-in took over an hour and we were dragged from one check-in place to another. As I prepaid the hotel, I was lucky with quick check-out, my colleagues were waiting for ages. The room was ok, even though the patio was probably the smallest I have seen. In the bathroom I had sewage smells and once I flushed the toilet, the flush itself would get stuck and water then going with terrible sounds. Breakfast was great, the only thing that I truly rate as excellent. Other than that, for sure too high price for what it is. I stayed for two nights in Riyad in Medina some days before and it was a fantastic experience and much cheaper.

The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming, which really set the tone for a relaxing visit. The breakfast was tasty with a nice variety, and the pool area was absolutely excellent â perfect for unwinding. The greenery in the resort is beautifully maintained, with palm trees that create such a peaceful atmosphere. I especially loved the touch of nature woven into the surroundings. There are also some lovely clothing shops on-site, and the staff there were just as polite and helpful as everywhere else. A sweet surprise was the charming tea party upon arrival â such a thoughtful and delightful welcome. And of course, I have to mention the taxi ride in a Maserati â yes, itâs definitely showing its age, but hey, itâs still a Maserati, so no complaints from me! đ
Cons: While my stay had a few enjoyable moments, overall I felt the hotel didnât quite offer good value for the money. There are definitely better options out there in a similar price range. The property itself is quite old and could really use some renovations to freshen things up. One major issue was the housekeeping â they entered my room without knocking and, unfortunately for both of us, caught me sitting on the toilet. Iâm easygoing, so I took it with humor, but I imagine it was far more awkward for the staff. Still, basic privacy standards should really be respected. Check-in was another low point. There were only five of us in line, yet the process dragged on for a full hour. I understand that hotel check-ins in Morocco involve paperwork, but here it was really excessive and inefficient compared to most places Iâve been.

We stayed at the Mövenpick for our anniversary, hoping for a memorable experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. The positive side first: The kids club was excellent â our child loved it, and the staff there were fantastic. The pool area and general facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable. However, the front desk and reception staff were neither respectful nor helpful. The customer service was poor throughout our stay. Despite mentioning that it was our anniversary, not even a small gesture like a flower or a sweet treat was offered, which was very disappointing for a supposed 5-star hotel. We had also requested and paid for an upgraded room, but we were given a standard room with a view of the parking lot. This felt unfair and poorly handled. As for the gym, it was located in the basement, very humid, and uncomfortable to use â far from the standards youâd expect from a luxury hotel. Overall, while some amenities were nice, the lack of proper service and attention to guests makes this hotel feel more like a 3- or 4-star property at best â definitely not worthy of the 5-star label

Cons: The service in general was extremely slow from reception onwards, which for a 5 star was surprising. If you were not the first people at your table during the whole meal sitting, the tables were not cleaned so you had to make room to sit down by cleaning them yourself and go on a hunt for cutlery which was disappointing.

Property was very nice, good location not too far from airport and not far into the main town. Negatives were balcony was very small, could fit a table and two chairs but could t fit a rizzla paper between them and certainly could t walk around the back. Raw sewage smell from drains in bathroom which would only disappear when you ran taps for a few minster. Reception staff were very rude and unwelcoming, although other staff were very friendly, especially the pool staff they couldnât do enough for you. Reception staff should shadow them and take a leave out of their book. Power cut out in room and when called up to tell them they sent towels up instead! Room key didnât work so had to walk back down and upgrade we paid for before arrival wasnât able to be given Overall Iâd say 6.5 out of 10, some really nice points but let down by some simple things

These sockets are outdated and need renovation, including the addition of new sockets and possibly USB options. I had an absolutely excellent stay at the hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless and well taken care of. The atmosphere was welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and all the amenities were top-notch. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay as pleasant as possible. However this hotel seriously needs a seamless check-in and check-out procedure. Unbeleivably both processes takes more than 30mins for sure. Strongly suggest people to run this process well before their appointments or flight. I m travelling so much around the world; and never seen such a slow reception service. Many people so called running here and there but the queus never move forward. Be careful with this! Otherwise really a great hotel to stay.

Room was given with no towels. Requested 2x yet no face towels were made avail. Had to walk up to the reception to ask. 3. The elevator was squeaking and definitely needs servicing 4. Certified as Global Green yet the doors to each building were wide open with a/c blasting 5. Inconsistency with brand experience. Team connected via whatsapp prior to arrival promising a wondeful welcome yet once answered/replied all went quiet. Replied received only after I boarded my flight ex Marrakesh

Cons: The front desk staff were incompetent. Over two days, guests had to queue for an average of 45 mins to check in. The staff offered no apologies and neither did they attempt to make the experience less painful until one guest asked to speak to a higher level staff and suggested they at least offer tea to people waiting. Room key card stops working daily. Rooms are very old looking. Balcony has space for furniture but not for people.

We enjoyed everything, the food was delicious and varied and drinks were refreshing. The spa was excellent and relaxing. The staff was friendly and cooperative and special thanks to (Lahcen), guest relations, for his warm hospitality and welcoming. Plus the hotel close to Manara Mall and The Avenue M.

Good breakfast with wide variety of food to choose from. Even pork was served. Gym well equipped with instructor. Heated swimming pool - you can swim in it even if outside is not that warm. Very elegant rooms with gorgeous bathroom cladded with marble. Pillows very extremely soft. Room service was very attentive, they make your bed in the evening and they exchange towels after each shower. Beautiful reception hall. Garden and pool area are very nice. The restaurant Marcelona was not good, food was not prepared well. I would expect much more from the restaurant in five star hotel. Receptionists are lazy and not enough of them it should be fixed.

The hotel facilities were great. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Some of the staff were so helpful and went out of their way to find a birthday candle for our daughter who turned one during our stay. The peacocks, rabbits and tortoises just roaming around the garden were such a great sight. Sami the pastry chef was so lovely at breakfast. Khadija at breakfast was so friendly and helpful. I wish I remembered more names especially the lovely guy who found us the candle for our daughter's birthday and the lady who checked us in and out.
Cons: We only have minor negative comments. It takes too long to check in or out at reception. The whole font desk is complete shambles. I got talking to one of the staff - they are all so friendly but their IT systems let them down. Printers, key coding machines and computers not working properly. Despite this they tried their best to be quick and kept apologising. If you arrive before the 3pm check in, I'd say plan ahead and drop off your luggage and go sightseeing or enjoy the pool facilities while you wait for 3pm check in. Not sure if this is a cultural thing but staff will not hesitate to quarrel with each other in their langauge in front of guests. I have seen it at reception, at the concierge desk, the towel guys at the pool and the main dining hall during breakfast. At first I thought they were just enthusiastic discussions but the angry expressions didn't need translating. Some staff are quite forceful asking to leave feedback when it was just our first morning at breakfast. The guy at the omelette station just took my phone and wrote his own google review praising himself and his colleague working the omelette/egg breakfast station...feedback which I didn't hesitate to delete instantly.

Convenient hotel with great location close to the old city, very, clean, spacious and private rooms, comfortable bed. Good breakfast and nice spanish restaurant Staff are very friendly and helpful ! They make you feel at home and they spoil you with taking extra care of you. I would like to specially thank LAHSAN and ABU-BAKR the guest relation supervisors. Their professional hospitalities are unique. They went above and beyond to help us enjoying our stay. The concierge girl "LAMIA" guided us every day with charming smile to have the best experience. We highly recommend this place.

The staff were the stand out positive experience to our stay and made us feel like an extension of their family! Particularly when traveling with a young child, we felt comfortavle and confidently say that this was an exceptional experience. The management team who initially greeted us, including Nadia and Lahcen were very professional, personable and attentive. This was consistently excellent throughout our stay. We knew the culture from here would be great. Both Mohamed (entrance) and Houssam (breakfast) who make the iconic Morroccan tea were kind and welcoming. They were wonderful to talk to and we enjoyed many visits to their respective tea stations during our stay, enjoying the hospitality and speaking about Morrocan culture. The quality of food and variety of the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Nouhalia looked after us very well and her hospitality was excellent. The team, including herself, head chef and Houssam surprised us with a birthday cake for our son, which was truly memorable for us all. Last but not least, the kids club was also a memorable experience for our son. A special thanks to Touria, Iqbal and the team for their professionalism and kindness. Our son enjoyed his time with them so much that he never wanted to leave. He has left with fond memories of the pizza, drawings and bracelet he got to make. Overall the facilities, rooms and dining experience (Marcelona) were all of high quality and allowed for an excellent stay.
Cons: We enjoyed most aspects of our stay, however to improve it further I would recommend the following for future guests (as consistent with other 5 star hotels): 1. Inclusive yoga and pilates free of charge to guests 2. Shuttle service to the medina a few times a day 3. Marketing and photos of the hotel on Booking.com and personal website did not do justice to the high quality of facilities that we experienced in person

Quite difficult to get in contact with anyone prior to arrival. The staff was cold but tried to help as much as possible (English isnât a main language in Morocco) . Facilities were fantastic (3 restaurants and 3 outdoor pools) well maintained although the spa was under refurbishment with no prior notice so most services were unavailable. Plenty of options for breakfast, impossible not to find something youâd like to have. Overpriced menus, highly recommend looking around for places to eat which will provide more authenticity and value for quality. 10/10 for location and atmosphere.

Service letâs this hotel down massively. There seems to be a huge lack of training for the front desk staff and it impacted our stay massively. We had a great flight from London, got through the airport quickly and got a cab to the hotel in about 15 mins. When we arrived however it took nearly an hour to get checked in, our passports were taken by a member of staff and she disappearedâŠ! We then had to queue up for ages to check they still had sight of our passports and were in fact checking us inâŠ! Once sorted we were given our key cards, no porters seemed to be around so we struggled with our bags to the over end of the hotel. Once we found our room the key card didnât work. I then had to run back to reception to get it activated again and after returning to the room it yet again did not work. We then had to take our bags and ourselves all the way back to reception to get this sorted and were finally told that the lock on our room had been upgraded and we were given the wrong key. No apology as such was given, more of a comment about the fact I could have called the reception?! It put a massive amount of stress on us when we just wanted to get into our room and relax. It is basic customer service to apologise when the hotel has made an error and this lack of acknowledgment really frustrated us. The room was clean and a great size. Missing one dressing gown and an iron despite there being an ironing board. The balcony was lovely but the furniture took up the entire space so it was a struggle to enjoy it! Location wise it is away from the medina which was fine for us but a flag if you want to be able to access the square etc easily. We walked most places which took time but saved the hassle with cabs. 5 minutes from the hotel is M avenue which has some shops and restaurants and is worth exploring in the evening. The breakfast was good, great selection of food to cover all tastes. I think the only critique would be the coffee but I think catering for the volume of guests I imagine the hotel gets in the warmer months it would be impossible to offer anything better than a machine. Facilities were good, lunch by the lower pool was great. Gym was well equipped and clean. Spa was being refurbished so canât comment, we didnât hear much noise from these works. Check out was again chaotic - we had luckily left ample time but I would have been very stressed if we hadnât! There again was no real customer service - just taking payment without even really walking me through the charges. So much so that we were then contacted by WhatsApp when we landed to say our lunch hadnât been billed and they needed to take payment. Not really an issue but just shows the lack of organisation. The silver lining to the service was the guest relations employee who helped with a slightly later check out which meant we could enjoy the pool on our last day and shower in our rooms before heading off. Overall the hotel has so much to offer but is let down by the check in and check out processes!

Absolutely wonderful experience with Abdoulaye and Rashid, our personal trainers for our family session at the hotel fitness centre. He inspired the whole family to start learning the machines and equipment. For me he was able to guide me on my strength training program I already had in place. The gym is well equipped to not only do machines and cardio but also deadlifts, squats and compound movements which is an absolute plus. We will be coming here daily while on our vacation.

The manager Mr Aboubakr El Badaoui was very accommodating and understanding when unfortunately the room we were allocated was not what we expected having booked a superior room. We were very disappointed and brought it to his attention, seeking a room change. Although he could not do anything about it the day we arrived the following day he arranged a room swap. My friend and I were very happy with the outcome and that it was done without any fuss or bother.

excellent property with attractive reception, lounge and grounds, a good breakfast with a wide choice, pleasant staff all round. Mohammed at the reception, who did his best to accommodate our two rooms close to each other (we had requested at the time of booking and had a confirmation by email, but unfortunately this was not the case on the system when we arrived).
Cons: Dysfunctional reception, almost always had grumbling guests waiting to have their complaints sorted, check in was a long process. It appeared that the desk was always short staffed (though there were staff in the office inside). The restaurants too had staff thin on the ground and almost always stretched while carrying out their duties, this resulted in long waits most times. For a 5 star, the rooms were very poorly stocked. Instant coffee, tea, sugar and water. No milk! Empty minibar and no munchies.
