Incredible service from the staff - they were always so helpful giving us advice and sorting out any issues very quickly. Excellent location near Jean Médecin tram stop - 2 minute walk. The hotel provides beach towels and umbrellas which was very convenient for us to not have to bring our own. We stayed in a classic double room which had lots of space for our suitcases to be open without feeling like you can’t walk around. The room was serviced daily and new towels were given when indicated.

Cons: The air conditioner intermittently dripped water - but I think this was more due to the temperature as the unit itself worked well

Cons: Camera per una formica. da verificare i mq dichiarati, vicino ad una via principale quindi molto rumore. spazi privati e comuni in generale piccoli colazione 25 euro, parcheggio 25 euro al giorno!! e non ho potuto comprare questi "servizi" direttamente in fase di prenotazione, ho potuto pagare solo all'arrivo. il parcheggio che ho visto io è minuscolo max 6 posti. Non so dove parcheggiano se sono più di 6 macchine. Tariffe e servizi secondo me poco chiari ad esempio hanno cercato di farmi dare i dati della carta di credito (nonostante avessi già la prenotazione confermata da Booking), fuori dalla piattaforma Booking, immagino sia anche contro le politiche di booking visto che le condizioni della mia prenotazione erano: cancellabile in ogni momento paga in struttura, non serve carta di credito per la prenotazione ma la realtà è che appena ho prenotato hanno cercato di chiedere i dati della carta di credito fuori da booking chiedendomi la mail privata.Mi hanno chiamato e scritto tante volte per farmi cliccare sul loro link ricevuto via mail, nonostante gli ho spiegato che avevo già la prenotazione confermata e stavo guidando ed ero in arrivo. Insomna mi hanno fatto sentire come un ladro e non come un ospite, oltre tutti I servizi di basso livello per me, educazione o poco rispetto per l'ospite mi è parso un ambiente orientato solo al soldo e non concentrato prima di tutto sul loro lavoro che sarebbe prima di tutto l'arte dell'ospitare. sconsiglio vivamente!

We hebben twee nachten met ons zoontje van twee jaar in dit hotel verbleven en kijken terug op een ontzettend fijn verblijf. De ligging is ideaal om Nice te verkennen, maar wat ons verblijf echt bijzonder maakte, was het geweldige hotelteam. Iedereen was ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en attent. Dankzij hun warme ontvangst en behulpzaamheid hebben zij ons verblijf in Nice nóg mooier gemaakt. Een ander groot pluspunt is de parkeergelegenheid direct voor het hotel. Er zijn een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar en wij hadden het geluk dat er nog een plekje vrij was. Dat maakte ons verblijf met de auto een stuk gemakkelijker. Al met al is dit een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een comfortabel hotel, uitstekende service en een toplocatie in het centrum van Nice.

Incredible staff that went out of the way to help. Natasha and pretty much everyone manning the front desk during the day and night were very polite and helpful. We thought we had forgotten something important in the lobby and in our room. Natasha, the office manager went out of her way to look for lost items MULTIPLE times and she even followed up with us on it days after we had checked out. Excellent location with accessibility to key attractions. Very clean and organized. Well appointed front lobbies.

Super central location to the train station, beach and old town. We requested a balcony and positively surprised on arrival with a balcony at no extra charge!! We loved the client of the day concept and such a fantastic surprise on arrival to be told we were the client of the day and delivered Prosecco as a gift. Patricia was an amazing help online prior to check in as well as on arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Die Lage ist schlicht das Beste am Hotel. Toll für Shopping, Essen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten oder um Ausflüge mit Zug an der ganzen Côte zu unternehmen.

Cons: Der Lift nervt und ist viel zu klein. Badezimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Renovierung?!? In Frankreich erwarte ich wirklich frische Croissants vom Bäcker auf dem Buffet. Schade. Nach mehrfachen Aufenthalten stellten wir fest, dass im allgemeinen vieles nachgelassen hat.

The overall experience was very pleasant. The hotel staff were very kind and very helful. They provided everything we asked for and allowed us to grab breakfast when we arrived late. One day when I asked if I could take a plate of breakfast to my room for my girfriend, they said yes and even offered me a tray to bring it there easier. The breakfast itself was really good and had everything you need (eggs, sausage, cheese, crepes, croissants, vegetables, fruit, coffee machine, juicer for oranges, many desserts, etc...). The room was new and in great shape. It had great air conditioning, which was adjustable from inside the room. We also received free water bottles which they refilled when cleaning the room. We also appreciated the fact that we got 5 towels for the 2 of us. There are no negative comments to say about our stay, everything was great.

When I arrived, I was greeted by a very welcoming receptionist which was lovely and offered me a cold drink as it was very hot outside. My luggage was taken to my room which I appreciated but I was very disappointed when I saw my very small and outdated standard room which had the fabric of the bed base falling off it. I phoned reception and very quickly was offered an alternative room which I was very satisfied with. The staff explained that they were currently undergoing renovations and were more than happy to accommodate me. Breakfast was more than satisfactory every morning. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The location is excellent as close to lovely cafes and restaurants and walking distance to shopping area, beach and tram to Old Town.

Cons: Standard room is very basic. Maybe ok for a night.

We had stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and were happy to come back with friends this time. We used it as a pre- and post-cruise hotel and it was much more reasonably priced than the one offered by the cruise line. The desk staff are friendly and helpful and efficient. The rooms are small by US standards, but very clean and we love the small balcony street view. The location is great for seeing the sights in Nice, near tram, bus and train. And I recommend getting the breakfast that's available for purchase...fresh orange juice, homemade baked goods and much more.

Одним из главных преимуществ отеля для меня стала парковка прямо перед входом. Парковочных мест немного, но за две ночи пребывания мне всегда удавалось найти свободное место. Для путешественников на автомобиле это очень важный плюс. Расположение отеля удачное, персонал в основном был дружелюбным и готовым помочь. Если вы планируете приехать в Ниццу на несколько дней и при этом совершать поездки по окрестностям и Лазурному Берегу на машине, этот отель является очень хорошим вариантом по соотношению расположения, удобства и цены.

Absolutely fantastic. Elina gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived. Our room was lovely, it was recently refurbished and was really smart. Huge and comfortable bed, good air-conditioning. The bathroom was really nice and very big! We had breakfast, very nice with lots of choice. Lyne and Zoe checked us out and watched our bags for a few hours, very helpful and friendly. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. Very nice hotel, immaculately clean.

Supergoede locatie om de hoek bij de grote winkelstraat. Je zit precies tussenin het strand en het treinstation. Beiden op ongeveer 10minuten lopen. Makkelijk om even een trip te maken met de trein langs de rest vd cote dazur. Het oude centrum van de stad op loopafstand en ook nog een leuke en veilige route om te lopen van en naar hotel. Plus het voordeel dat je niks merkt van de drukte van de stad. In alle rust kan je genieten van je verblijf.

Cons: Ik moest nog even wachten voor ik de kamer in kon bij aankomst. Niet lang, maar toch, als ik een minpuntje moet benoemen. Doet verder niet af aan de rest van het fijne verblijf.

Hotellet ligger lige midt i det hele. Fra vores lille balkon kunne vi iagttage livet på gågaden i den nye bydel. Der kører sporvogne, som larmer lidt, men for os var det en del af charmen. Når dørene var lukkede, så generede det ikke nattesøvnen. God seng, dejligt bad, flasker med vand, kaffe og elkedel. Personalet var meget imødekommende og interesseret i os som gæster. Det var alle lige fra receptionen til morgenmadsdamen. Morgenmad var eminent med friskpresset appelsinjuice ad libitum. Vi var heldige at få en af de 6 parkeringspladser foran hotellet - lidt dyrt, men trygt og godt. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

The hotel is basic in terms of services and food variety for breakfast. However the staff makes the whole experience nicer. They are very accommodating and helpful. Two ladies were so supportive, Enora and another staff member who supported me multiple times. On booking the hotel was classified as 4 stars, on site I knew it’s 3 stars which explains the basic level. It’s still nice for a short quick stay.

Cons: I have been travelling abroad everyyear and booking hotel through booking.com. When it is mentioned that no prepayment required and free calcellation we expect no payment before arrival. Here first night (279.3 euro) was charged during booking, even before my visa. Then 792.9 euro for stay charged two days before arrival although i send sms that i will pay in cash during arrival, because within a month i will go to australia and wanted to keep money in card. Then just 1 litre water supplied during check in, for everyday water we had to buy from outside. No wifi available in my room, when complained staff suggested to use own data which cost 25 euro. So if booking.com dont follow what they mention i should not book next time for australia through booking.com

Every day we only got one small towel and one large towel for two people, so we constantly had to ask for more. The same with water – only one bottle for two people. If your room faces the street, it can also be quite noisy. Overall, the staff and location are good, but the value for money is poor considering the size of the rooms and the recurring issues with basic amenities.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, easy tram ride from the airport & a few minutes walk. Train station is also a few minutes walk, was easy to get to Monaco for a visit. We were given a room which was lovely, but asked if there was a larger room, Enora was so helpful & we moved onto the 5th floor, room was amazing & bed was very comfortable & immaculate. Breakfast was included in our trip, it was wonderful, lots of choice & plenty of drinks choice too. Travelling around was easy, trams right outside or not far to walk to the beach, around a 10 minute walk. The staff here are wonderful, so friendly & helpful & always a smile. Special thanks to Enora, Patricia & Lucie. We had a fabulous stay & if we ever come back, you'll be our first choice to stay with, thank you 🥰

For the second year in a row we stayed at the Best Western Lakmi Nice hotel and let me start by stating that the name should be The BEST Hotel in Nice instead. This is simply one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in with a service level that is a 5-star hotel worthy. All staff we encountered during our stay excelled in their service mindedness whatever issue we had. Had a minor mishap that was resolved immediately - with a pleasurable gesture from the hotel to accommodate for our trouble (and it was no trouble at alll). The breakfast is really really nice (pun intended) and the staff working here, never let one down when making sure everyone’s OK and the food are continuously fresh - manifique. I’ve said it before (check my other review of the hotel) and I know that it’ll be difficult to get rooms here after this review, but the Best Western Lakmi Hotel Nice is the place to stay when in Nice - and we will be back !! Again. Thanks for having us- it was a great pleasure.

Sehr schön restauriertes, grosses Badezimmer. Was uns gefreut hat, dass das Personal uns jedem Abend frisches Wasser bereitgestellt hat. Das kontinentale Frühstück ist reichhaltig, frisch und schmackhaft.

Cons: Der Lift fährt nur bis zur vierten Etage. Die Dachzimmer dürfen zu Fuss erreicht werden, was aber der Fitness nicht unbedingt abträglich erscheint.

The Lakmi is located right in the middle of excellent shopping, restaurants and close to all attractions. The front desk staff are super polite, helpful and friendly. They also went out of their way to make me feel special on my birthday. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom though a bit tight was adequa-te for our needs. We did not include the breakfast in our stay so can’t coment. All this made for a memorable stay in Nice. Thank you

I was traveling with my sister; we really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Hotel Lakmi Nice. Our room was compact but cosy and tidy, beds were super comfy. The breakfast choices were splendid for us! I really enjoyed local cheese and saucisse sèche at the breakfast buffet, these locally sourced and premium products added a highlight to the breakfast. I loved a small balcony where you can eat your breakfast. I wanted to mention that the staff here is exceptional: warm greetings and many thanks to Pauline, Patricia, Ana, Lyna and Zoë who were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to assist us. Everyone was so helpful with our requests! (we got an umbrellas when it started to raining outside; we got iron and ironing board in our room when requested etc.). A nice touch was the welcome tea offered upon arrival at reception. For my next stay in Best Western Hotel Lakmi Nice I’d love a room on a top floor with a different street view. Great hotel to stay when you are exploring French Riviera all day long till the late evenign.

This hotel is situated on Avenue Jean Médecin, you are quite literally in the heart of Nice and you are able to get in walking distance to the beach promenade, parks, historical center etc. The staff is exceptional (thanks, Pauline, Patricia, Ana, Lyna, Zoe!) The breakfast buffet is various and rich (I loved a touch of local products). Plus, the free hot drinks machine in the lobby is a small but much-loved touch. We stayed in standard room which kind a feels "compact" but was comfy, cosy, tidy. (If you value space, it is highly recommended to book a Junior Suite or a Room with a Balcony). If your priority is convenience and connectivity, this is one of the best value-for-money options in Nice. It’s perfect for active tourists who plan to spend their days exploring the Côte d'Azur and want a friendly, central "home base" to return to.

Responses to emails and requests were always very quick and efficient, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I also really appreciated the eco-friendly option to opt out of housekeeping in exchange for additional Best Western points – a great initiative. Our experience at the hotel was nothing short of amazing. The rooms and décor were beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. The staff was incredibly warm, hospitable, and always accommodating of any request. One night, I fell sick, and my parents asked Pape, the night manager, for directions to a pharmacy. He guided them very well and even stood outside waiting until they returned, ensuring they came back safely. It was a truly thoughtful gesture, and Pape went above and beyond to help us. Location was amazing very convenient to get around. Everything you need in walking distance. Tram is just around the corner and Nice Ville Train Station at five minutes walking distance. The balcony is so nice to sit outside in the privacy of your room with a beautiful overview of the Avenue Jean Médecin. Breakfast was very good. The cleanness of the room and the bath was very good. Tea and coffee corner in the room with the kettle is very useful. Mini fridge was working very good and surprisingly quiet for a general hotel fridge. But the best part was The Staff. They were amazing and very attentive. Especially Senior Receptionist Ms. Natasha. This kind lady was literally in every spot in the hotel. She was always smiling and was very helpful when we were in need of anything. She tried doing everything in her power to made our stay memorable. The hotel’s welcome and farewell gestures are such a well thought beautiful touch.

Cons: The standard rooms with the balcony are very small. When you open the suitcase (Samsonite 75x51x31) there was actually no place to move freely in the room with two people. We spent most of the day outside or on the balcony, so we decided not to dwell on it too much. The elevator is very small and sometimes you have to wait a lot to get on it. Furniture in the room could be never. A second set of outer balcony doors would be very useful for better noise isolation in a crowded and popular area such as this.

It took a while to choose a hotel as there are a lot in Nice city centre. We chose very well! The BWH Lakmi is in a great location. Five minutes walk from the tram (that goes to the airport), ten minutes from the main train station and ten minutes in the opposite direction to the beach. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was great. Lovely choice including homemade cakes. We didn't need lunch! The staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. Thanks 😊

Having just returned from a 4 night stay at Hotel Lakmi I can honestly say this is a gem of a hotel!! It was our first stay in Nice & we had a fabulous time. The hotel is situated very centrally in the fantastic shopping district of the city, just a 10-15 minute walk to the train station Nice-Ville, making it ideally situated for exploring the French Riviera. Everyone at Hotel Lakmi was very welcoming & the lovely touch of a card & complimentary macarons on the bed when we checked in was great!! The rooms were spotless & quiet with double-glazed windows that retained the beautiful original shutters. Breakfast was plentiful running from 7am-10.30am & was a wonderful mix of continental pastries, breads, scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, fresh coffee, teas & juices. I am dairy free & when enquiring about dairy free options, the lovely staff got me some soya yoghurt & milk. As someone who is mobility impaired, the hotel was ideally situated for me to return to during the day for taking a rest. There is a tram stop just a short walk from the hotel which takes you straight to Nice promenade with fabulous restaurants. My only concern would be that the hotel lift is probably too narrow for wheelchair users, which is the only downside. However, we cannot wait to return to explore more of what Nice has to offer & hope the hotel continues to retain its wonderful charm. An excellent hotel in a central position. Well appointed comfortable and modern rooms. Busy bustling streets nearby but certainly not noisy. Reception staff are all first rate, particularly Ana, to whom nothing appears to be a problem. Only real issue was with very poor housekeeping, with such things as dirty towels not be replaced with fresh ones, despite leaving them in the internationally recognised place of the shower or bath. no replenishment of the two bottles of water left when we arrived. Which was odd given the crates of the stuff left in the corridor outside our room. This corridor was also a challenge given the obstacles of vacuum cleaner hoses, mops, broken light fittings, and bags of dirty laundry regularly left to late afternoon or evening. In the room there were no glasses, only two small paper cups, which were not replaced, but washed out by housekeeping and left by our kettle. Not exactly best practice. The final straw was a dirty cleaning rag left under our internal room door to jam it open. An oversight maybe, but is it really acceptable?

Stayed here for one night as a solo traveller and overall had a mixed experience. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to shops, attractions and tram stop. There are also plenty of food options nearby, which was a big plus. The staff were great throughout my stay, very welcoming on arrival and helpful with any questions I had. I stayed in a small solo room, which unfortunately was quite disappointing. It felt very dated, with a carpet that had visible stains, chipped paint on the walls, and noticeable marks beside the bed. The bed frame was also frayed and looked quite worn. While the price point was very reasonable and it wasn’t a major issue for a short stay, the overall condition of the room didn’t feel particularly fresh. I’ve rated this 4 stars based on the location, value and staff, but the rooms could definitely do with some updating and attention.

El desayuno muy bien y variado incluido en precio habitación. La ubicación perfecta pleno centro, con playa, estación, tram y comercio en la zona. La cama era muy amplia y cómoda. La ducha era fantástica. El personal muy amable y me sentí muy bien atendida.

Cons: Quizá el tamaño habitación un poco justo, sin ser. Excesivamente pequeño. Que hay solo un ascensor y a veces había que esperar.

Stayed at the Best Western Lakmi Nice and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff truly went above and beyond to help make my husband’s trip perfect, which made our stay feel really special. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal—right in the heart of Nice with excellent public transport links just steps away, making it super easy to explore. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, so you’re never short of options. The hotel itself was very clean throughout, and the rooms were a decent size, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only thing to note is that the hotel offers a continental breakfast rather than a full hot breakfast, but it was still fresh and convenient to start the day. Overall, a fantastic stay in a perfect location with outstanding service—we’d definitely return!

Best Western is Best here , great location, central to shops and old town Staff are ALL worth a mention from front desk to breakfast room ( which is very nice .. kinda divided into 2 sections) Breakfast lovely, plenty choice, can’t fault anything

Quand on demande au celle car nous avions un concert vendredi et samedi soir et si après on a plus d 1h30 de route ça aurait été sympa de nous mettre comme on l a demander au calme et non devant Monoprix avec le monde qui se bagarrent à 5 h du mat et avant et après le tram sympa la nuit

Perfect location. Walking distance from the hotel to the promenade, train station and text to the tram lines. Number of shops, restaurants around the area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel is small, but clean and comfortable and stylish. Lovely breakfast. We did not expect much but hotel exceeded our expectations.

The location was absolutely perfect. The staff was very helpful and polite. They offered me a small bottle of wine for a welcome. It was a very gentle gesture.The breakfast was home made with pure ingredients and fresh orange juice.

Cons: The room was small and was missing basic bathroom amenities. The soundproofing was poor, so even the slightest noise from outside or inside the hotel could wake you up.

Merkezi konumuyla her yere yürüyerek ulaşabileceğiniz harika bir otel. Gar ve sahile oldukça yakın olması büyük bir avantaj. Biz suit odada konakladık; oda oldukça ferah, havadar ve tertemizdi. Personel son derece güler yüzlü ve her konuda yardımcı olmaya çok istekliydi. Kahvaltısı da oldukça zengin ve lezzetliydi. Genel olarak konaklamamızdan çok memnun kaldık. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Tekrar bu şehre gelirsem hiç düşünmeden yine burada kalırım.

Cons: Caddeye bakan odadaydık. Camınızı açık tutarsanız biraz gürültülü. Bunun dışında bir sorun yok :)

The location of the property was perfect. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station and in a safe area. I will stay here again for sure!!! Upon arrival there was a personal note and macrons waiting for me in my room. It was such a nice touch and my room was so charming. Every one of the hotel staff was so kind and helpful. I love this hotel!!

Cons: The parking is quite small so it is better to call and check availability before arrival. We were in a balcony room but it was quite noisy with the tramway. A real shame.

Don't look at the stars I have stayed in many 5 stars hotels that can't measure with this great spot, actually it is 5 stars service at cozy, home-like hotel with super helpful staff. My wife had a birthday then and they made everything to make her feel special. They even made a wellcome gift in the room for our kid. We loved the town and definitely this hotel is the best to stay for that price. The location is at the top center and you have no worries for the parking.
