L’hôtel Ibis Fès m’a fait payer 50 € sur place alors que ma réservation était en “paiement sur place”, mais Booking m’a également débité pour le même séjour. Je demande un remboursement du montant facturé par erreur. L’hôtel a confirmé que le paiement sur place a été effectué. Merci de traiter la demande rapidement.

Accustomed to staying in luxury establishments and paying exorbitant prices just to get a place to sleep, this hotel does the job perfectly. The price is ridiculously low for just a place to sleep. The small bathroom is clean. I would like to thank the reception staff from check-in to check-out, who were very friendly and professional, as was the cleaning lady.

We stayed for three nights at this city centre location and the absolute added bonus was the pool which was situated in amazing well kept gardens which unfortunately was let down by the fact that the rest of the hotel and furnishings were very worn and dated. It is in desperate need of a full refurbish. The room we had should have been a double but was in fact a twin room. The curtain was hanging off the rail so couldn't be closed properly. There was no kettle or fridge which was inconvenient as I had brought all the necessary provisions to enjoy a coffee in the mornings without having to leave the room. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. The staff were excellent and very helpful. House keeping serviced the room daily. The hotel is right next door to the train station which was great for us to experience a train journey to Rabat.All in all a good value hotel that I would recommend but with a little investment I personally would be happy to pay more.

Opción buena cerca de la estación de tren sin complicarse en la medina y sus cuentos chinos de los "riads". Me gustó mucho el jardín , las palmeras, la piscina, la sensación de despeje frente al caos de la medina y toda la ciudad en general, tan deslavazada y cutrilla en realidad.
Cons: No me gustó el olor a alcantarilla (égouts), a mierda en general en la ciudad y zona hotel, por todos lados. Ni la ciudad medieval ni la "moderna", supuesto ensanche francés, tan fea, cumplieron mis expectativas. Fez sobrevalorado. El hotel podría ofrecer un DESAYUNO más rico y variado, hay MÁS frutas en nuestros países mediterráneos que sólo naranjas. El personal podría ser más simpático.

Cons: Le personnel du restaurant pas aimable du tout. Vous êtes assis a une table pour manger ou boire un verre. Le serveur ne vient jamais pour vous servir. Et pourtant il vous voit attendre mais rien par la suite. Sinon le gardien du parking garde barrière qui vous harcèle de lui donner a manger ou de l'argent. Il vous suit partout, vous propose ces services de lavage auto ou de cirage de chaussure. C'est bon c'est les vacances on veut etre tranquille un peu. C'est tout les jours comme ça. La direction de l'hôtel faites quelque-chose un peu.

It was specified on the site I was going to get a room with a view over the pool which is usually calm. Instead my room was on the side overlooking the train station where travellers and taxis are 24/7. Not having slept the night before for travelling overnight, it was a huge let-down as I was expecting to get the rest I needed before continuing my journey

Cons: La réservation était pour une chambre double vue piscine. Selon la réception, toutes les chambres doubles n'ont pas une vue sur piscine, d'où notre déception. Du coup on a été obligé de prendre une chambre avec deux lits jumeaux pour éviter la vue sur la rue (et bruit associé). Aussi, il y avait du bruit vers 23h côté piscine car c'est là où se trouve le café de l'hôtel. Le petit déj ne vaut pas son prix. Un effort aurait pu être fait pour proposer des protéines (autres que oeufs brouillés) et des fruits de saison.

L’hôtel Ibis est bien placé, le personnel qui fait les chambres est très gentil et à notre écoute. La piscine est très agréable. Le lit était plutôt confortable.
Cons: Le personnel de la réception était antipathique, pas avenant. Nous avions l’impression de toujours les embêter. Ils proposent de faire du change mais n’ont pas d’argent pour en faire, ils ne proposent pas d’excursions et ne vous disent même pas bonjour. Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas bon, il y a très peu de choix. Pour 7€ il vaut mieux aller le prendre à l’extérieur.

Es handelt sich um ein Hotel der französischen Accor Gruppe. Die Lage zentral am Bahnhof von Fes und unweit der Innenstadt und der Medina sowie der Pool waren für die Auswahl entscheidend. Es war alles sauber, was in Marokko ja eher selten ist. Ich mache dort desöfteren Zwischenstation.
Cons: Leider stank es dieses Mal extrem im Gartenbereich hinten am Pool nach Kanal. Ich hatte die Toilette Anlagen im Verdacht, aber ein marokkanischer Gast meinte, das käme von einer Entsorgungsstation in der Nähe, der Wind würde das Richtung Hotel bringen. Ärgerlich war auch, dass eines der reservierten Zimmer voller Zigarettengestank war, obwohl wir zwei Nichtraucher Zimmer gebucht hatten. An der Zimmertür war ein Nichtraucher-Zeichen, aber es wurde darin geraucht. Der Portier betätigte zwar den Ventilator, aber so etwas geht gar nicht. Da wir die beiden Zimmer nur für eine Nacht benötigten, haben wir es aber dabei belassen.

Ce hotel se trouve proche de la gare ce qui favorise les voyages en train qui sont assez bien. L'extérieur de l'hotel est très beau (piscine).
Cons: Ce hotel se trouve assez loin de la médina (la vieille ville), les taxis devant l'hotel demandent 50 Dirham. Attention ne rentrez pas au-dessus de 20 dirham et vous ne pouvez pas faire le trajet à pied. L'intérieur a besoin d'une modernisation. Le petit-déjeuner ne correspondait pas à nos attentes. Le prix est assez élevé comparé aux riads de la médina.

Le personnel à la réception était sympa, à l’écoute et réactif. L’emplacement est pas mal, il y’a des cafés pas loin, restaurants et surtout la gare.
Cons: Les équipements sont trop vieux, les chambres sales. À la piscine il faut demander les serviettes, et plus d’une fois où nous a répondu « qu’il n’y en avait plus » ??

Horrible experience overall, very poor quality - I spent double the price comparing of staying in a Riad as I did in Marrakech and it was the best experience ever. Only one towel in the rooms just for the body / not face .. the toilet was broken and the flush wasn’t working proper. Some staff in the reception very rude - and the cherry on the top was when I have asked for towels for the swimming pool and they were claiming they didn’t have at all !!! I went to the swimming pool and then 3 more people arrived with towels and when I asked them where they got them from they said to me from inside the reception. I went back and told them how come people arriving now they got towels and they were tolero lying in my face that they didn’t give anything. 2 women in the reception were speaking in Arabic and looking at me and laughing between them. We went there with my husband for 2 nights only because our friends were staying there. Will never stay in ibis again. The people who were cleaning the rooms and the people from the breakfast restaurant were very nice. There was an apprentice named Ounayma that she saw me very upset and stressed and tried to help Me. The best person there to be honest and very kind and friendly!

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating one-night stay at I bis Fes, and I would strongly advise against booking this hotel. Despite having a prepaid reservation online, the hotel reception insisted that no payment had been made and demanded full payment again at check-in. I showed them my payment confirmation along with the deducted amount from my bank, yet they continued to treat me like I was trying to cheat them — making me feel like a low-level tourist who couldn’t afford to pay. Completely unprofessional behavior. Unfortunately, the nightmare didn’t stop there. The air conditioner didn’t cool at all — it just blew warm air, and with Morocco’s heat at this time of year, the room was unbearable. I complained three times, went back and forth with the reception, and after over an hour, they finally sent a maintenance person who didn’t speak English. He simply checked the unit and said, “It’s working” — apparently, blowing air equals working AC in their standards. No attempt was made to fix the issue or offer a different room. To top it off, the room itself was a disaster — no towels, no tissue box, no water bottles provided. The room was so small I could barely move around. This was a pathetic and frustrating experience from start to finish. I will never book an I bis hotel again and urge others to avoid this location entirely.

Heel rustig hotel. Locatie met auto prima om alles in de stad te bezoeken. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zwembad zag er heel modern en netjes uit.
Cons: We hebben gewisseld van kamer vanwege het verkeerslawaai. Helaas had de nieuwe kamer een oudere TV waar we niet alle zenders konden kiezen.

The was no air conditioning during our stay. Only hot air comes out of it. The hotel reception said it was due to the season. Mornings and nights were cooler but during the afternoon was really hot and stuffy. In the reception area air ventilation was stale and insects were hovering around. The room given to us had a tap that just had hot water running and below the sink was the leak was bad. Obviously maintenance of the hotel facilities were lacking. After checking with the receiption they got someone to check on the issues without making sure there was a way to rectify it. We had to varify the situation again and still no solution were given to us at this point. So we headed out of the hotel to catch some fresh air while allowing time for the staff to allow the change of hotel room as requested at the first place. The other room was better but air-conditioning was still an issue here. The only solution to it was to off it totally. Dry heat in the afternoon was not the most pleasant. There was only a slight opening allowed for the window. It does not to much of air circulation but instead you might expect insect bites instead. Definitely not recommended to stay in this hotel unless train station next to it is the main concern you have. Otherwise get a better place elsewhere.

Stayed for 4 nights, located next to the railway station. If you have a room on station side you can hear the train horns during the night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, croissants, cheese, egg etc. Toaster is useless, you will never get brown toast. Room was fine with a comfy bed and a good shower.. Taxis available outside to take you to the Medina but be prepared to haggle for one, don’t pay the asking price.

La ubicacion es perfecta si llegas tarde a la estacion de tren y quieres no complicarte con llegar, la piscina no la usé pero completa la visual de un jardin para tomar el desayuno y seguramente es agradable, y la habitacion es suficiente para tener un buen descanzo.
Cons: Me parece Muy costoso para un Ibis, para la zona donde está ubicado, y sobre todo siendo una reserva de ultima hora donde le hotel caramente tenia una ocupacion evidentemente baja. esta habitacion no deberia costar mas de 45 Dolares.

Dated property but good for the price, all amenities as advertised. Well kept terrace and pool area. Breakfast buffet had sufficient choices, nothing fancy. Located next to train station with plenty of taxi availability. 5 minute taxi ride to the old medina. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Surrounding area a little gritty, but has some good low cost cafes.

Les vastes espaces d'accueil et communs du rez de chaussée, le personnel disponible et à l'écoute, le magnifique jardin autour de la piscine grand et bien entretenu où il fait bon "lézarder" bien au calme malgré la proximité de la ville et de la gare (ce qui est aussi très pratique), la belle piscine, le petit déjeuner continental, le restaurant le soir bon et bien pratique après une journée de visites, le bar donnant sur le jardin, le lit grand est confortable, le changement de serviettes tous les jours, la propreté, le grand écran télé, l'ascenseur.
Cons: Des détails : les petites finitions de la salle de bain sont à revoir (les peintures, le joint d'étanchéité de la douche, qui est assez grande par ailleurs). L'espace autour du lit est restreint. VMC de la salle de bain très efficace mais un peu bruyante. . Peut-être revoir aussi le réglage de la climatisation (nous n'en avions pas besoin mais en essayant, il a semblé qu'elle ne fonctionnait pas bien).
