The location of the hotel was great in that it was centrally located. If you want to walk around and explore Rome on your own, you can do that from this hotel. For North American travelers, the staff is generally English speaking and super helpful. The Continental breakfast was top-notch, so definitely get a room with breakfast included. The rooftop bar and complementary in-room beverages were a plus! I highly recommend.

We had a great 3 day stay in Rome and especially loved Hotel Artemide. We've been to Rome before, but this was our first time at this hotel. Everything was fantastic but the thing that stood out the most was the staff. We had our toddler and the staff loved her and went out of their way to accommodate us. From making amazing fruit plates to her favorite butter pasta dish, every day we loved interacting with them and she had a blast. Special shout out to Lacra and Salvatore, thank you so much for all your wonderful hospitality and for your patience when our toddler was being well, a toddler lol.

We had 4 rooms with our party of 12, and the hotel could not have been more accommodating. They arranged for us to all be on the same floor. This is a very nice hotel with an outstanding breakfast, great air conditioning ( it is hot in Rome ), crisp sheets, friendly and helpful staff, and of course the location cannot be beat. This was our second stay here - last time was 2011 and the hotel has refreshed and continues to be first class.

I completely enjoyed my stay at Hotel Artemide. The staff was always friendly and helpful and available to help with any questions and suggestions for excursions to see the city. The food was amazing and the atmosphere at the rooftop restaurant was relaxing. The room was comfortable and the shower was amazing, really good water pressure. I appreciated the little things, like a wet bar with free snacks and beverages. I definitely would stay here again if I get back to Rome.

We chose to stay at Hotel Artemide on our visit to Rome based on reviews, and we were very happy we did! Everything was perfect - we had no complaints. The rooms were nice, the food was good, the service was excellent, and the rooftop bar and restaurant were just fantastic. We were within walking distance from most attractions and many restaurants and shops. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Well deserving of all the positive reviews as this hotel really delivered. We did the romance package which included an incredible tasting menu dinner at their rooftop restaurant and a massage. The massage was so great we went back for a second one and we also did the spa which was great after walking all over Rome. Staff here is very friendly and communicate very well prior to arrival with anything you need help with. Thanks for making our first time in Rome memorable!

This hotel was better than expected! I chose this hotel because of the location, but I enjoyed everything more than imagined, Everyone behind the desk was friendly and helpful, The rooms were updated and more importantly clean. The breakfast was really good! I also really enjoyed the roof top bar. It was a great space to have a drink and meet friends before heading out.

My family loved this place. We stayed here a couple nights after our cruise and loved our time in the room. We had the Junior Suite, which consisted of a King bed and two day beds. Perfect. The mini bar was well stocked and FREE. That included sparkling waters, juices, wine and prosecco! Also, the AC was COLD, which was so nice to have as Rome was at the tail end of a heat wave. Breakfast was very nice. It was my birthday and they must have realized that from my passport details because they made a big deal about it and brought out this wonderful mixed fruit tart for my family to share. I didn't say a thing to them about it being my birthday. Very nice touch. They were also helpful in setting up my pick up from Civitavecchia and my airport transfer when it was time to go home. Location was good. We were able to walk to the Spanish steps and the Colosseum, but heading back from both is uphill so be prepared for that! Overall, a great visit. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Hotel Artemide three times in six weeks, and each visit reminded us why we kept coming back. The staff are incredibly friendly, with the breakfast room team standing out for their warmth and attentive service every morning. The guest service attendants were also a tremendous help, arranging regular taxis for us whenever we needed them. In truth, we rarely did — most of Rome’s famous sites were within a 20‑minute walk from the hotel. We only needed a taxi for the Vatican, and even then, we walked back to the hotel afterward. The location is perfect, and the rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We also loved the hotel’s multiple plush lounge areas, each with its own TV, offering relaxing spaces to unwind after a day out in the city. Hotel Artemide has become our go‑to place in Rome, and we look forward to returning again.

Rien à redire sur l’emplacement, idéal pour profiter pleinement de la ville. Très bon point également pour le petit déjeuner, qui est tout simplement exceptionnel. On sent que l’établissement est bien tenu et attentif au confort des clients. Hôtel que nous recommandons sans hésitation. Excellente expérience dans l’ensemble.
Cons: Unique petit bémol : la chambre était un peu petite. Cela reste toutefois secondaire, car lorsqu’on vient visiter Rome, on passe peu de temps dans la chambre.

Very happy with this hotel. The location is good as it is near by to tourist areas, 0.6 miles to Trevi and about the same to Spanish Steps, and about a mile to the Colosseum. Any thing futher is either a 1uick train ride, (Vatican City) or easy to get to via cab. By U.S. Standards the rooms are a touch small but very adequate. The Breakfast buffet is fantastic and the desk and bell staff are fantastic and can assist with nearly anything.

We were repeat clients from 2019 - our memory was that the staff was kind, helpful and committed to providing a high quality, enjoyable, comfortable stay. As a result we booked the hotel for our family of 10 - us, our two children and their families of spouses and total of 4 grandsons. We celebrated my wives 80th birthday with an enjoyable dinner on the rooftop at the Ambrosia. All of the staff (from doorman, reception to housekeeping to bellman to restaurant) were extremely forthcoming and responsive to any needs including questions of where to eat and what to do. Our kids had never been to this hotel though some travel extensively and all would gladly return - quoting the perfect location, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast buffets, and most of all the warm responsive attitude and service provided by all the staff.

Hotel Artemide was an excellent choice for me and my family to stay at in Rome! It is a great location, and the staff here is top notch! From before our arrival to when we left, the staff was friendly and did their best to meet our every need. Communication is excellent! I emailed the hotel a few times before our arrival, and their response was prompt and helpful. I was so glad that I emailed them before our arrival to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel. It was more expensive, but worth it to not have to figure out transportation after a long flight. Hotel Artemide’s breakfast buffet is the best I have ever had! Even my teenagers mentioned to me how delicious it was. I highly recommend Hotel Artemide and would definitely stay here again!

The property was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and the room was exceptionally comfortable, especially the bed, which gave us some of the best sleep we’ve had while traveling. The location was another huge highlight. Being within walking distance of all the major attractions made exploring the city incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The dining experience exceeded our expectations as well. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The rooftop restaurant was equally impressive, offering fantastic food along with a stunning atmosphere and views. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional staff. At this hotel, you are made to feel like you are the only guest. The desk staff are patient and answer questions thoroughly. At breakfast, the wait staff are welcoming and remember your name. The hotel is clean and in an excellent location (near Termini) - walking distance to a wide variety of major attractions. It also has a rooftop bar that serves dinner, with a good selection of wines and cocktails and some dishes that are truly noteworthy.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May, 2026 and absolutely loved this hotel. There was a fabulous buffet breakfast each morning. There was a very nice spa which we enjoyed. The hotel was very centrally located. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with arranging taxis, providing restaurant recommendations, etc. The hotel restaurant was excellent too. The bed was very comfortable. We hope to stay here again if we are back in Rome!

The rooftop bar is a great place to sit back and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. We booked based on reviews, and couldn’t be happier with our selection. After a day of walking -a lot of walking- my knee was hurting and I called down to reception asking for a bag of ice. To my surprise, they brought up a real ice bag (the real kind, not a plastic bag). Just that little attention to detail is an example. Highly recommend!

Hotel Artemide was our home away from home for three nights. Perfectly situated amidst Rome's historic treasures, we walked everywhere. Check in was a breeze, and the staff is fluent in English. Our bags were stored until our room was ready. The room was impeccably clean, and the complimentary mini bar was replenished daily with prosecco, beer, juices, water and small snacks. Beds are comfortable, and the A/C works! The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar and offers a complimentary prosecco or coffee at checkin. It was a great location to take in the sunset over the city. Perhaps the best feature was the killer breakfast buffet. With a pastry chef on site, there were so many choices, we could not try them all. Breakfast includes hot and cold items, eggs, frittata, numerous juices, abundant fresh fruit, salad and more. No meager pump carafe of coffee; a server takes your order, and a barista makes it fresh. We were spoiled on true Americanos, and the service of the breakfast team beat anywhere we've stayed. Salvatore served us each morning, and he genuinely made our trip to Rome with his friendliness, care and willingness to practice Italian with my husband. There is no where else in Rome we would stay after Hotel Artemide!

The coffee machine in the room was nice. The bed and pillows were great! The bathroom was a nice size. The breakfast was very good. Most of the taxi drivers we had knew the hotel and the address. It was convenient and we had the time! We will be back! And the AC worked very well. If you need AC this is a good place! It has an elevator and spa on site! We loved it and will be back! Thank you for making our trip so special and perfect!

While all the staff was amazing truly, Eugene was so sweet!! We met him at the Rooftop restaurant an saw him again at breakfast. He is so nice an just made our time there so much more memorable! ❤️ The location of the hotel is good too!! We were close to the train station and coukd walk to things. 😊 I highly recommend staying here!!

We had a great stay at Hotel Artemide. The room includes a stocked mini-fridge (included) with drinks and snacks. The included breakfast is great and you can get cooked to order omelettes, fried eggs, etc. The hotel is located away from high-traffic areas but many historic sights are within walking distance. We also took cabs to some restaurants we had booked through The Fork app. Note that there is a flat rate for taxis to the airport. We also stayed at their sister hotel, Hotel Spadai, in Florence with the same amenities.

Our room was basic but clean we did ask for upgrade but no availability but to be honest found out the bed was so comfortable that night slept 12 hours straight through !!! But back to the review !! When arrived was given a voucher each for my wife and I for the roof terrace for a drink so we thought we would use and see what the reviews were all about and maybe book dinner for that evening !!! asked a waitress for a coffee and a water and a seat was shoved in a corner no view even though better seats available and made to feel like interrupted her day !! We got the coffee and water and I ask the waitress In my polite's voice, could we see the menu for the evening as we were looking to maybe book a reservation AGAIN made to feel like a Major interruption of her day !!! She brought the menu but at this point both decided that this was NOT the place to book our first nights meal for us !! Went else where !!!! Breakfast even though was majorly hyped on trip advisor was not the grand spread had imagined was going to meet our eyes however saying that all the food we had and there was good choice was top notch and the service and the welcomed smiles and service was second to none The spa was booked up and limited to Time slots had available so we decided my wife would have a massage and I would join her after for spa after 1 hour massage was very good the massage was done by a therapist by the name of Nicolina and the we was toured and greeted by Atefeh very nice and helpful however the spa was a let down water cold jets week just not worth the money at all I think firstly if have massage should be included and 100% not worth paying for massive let down and we visit spas regular and are happy to pay !! So not a money thing !! (Don't waste money ) I booked some excursions, etc., at reception this evening and asked for some recommendations for restaurants, etc. and yet again the reception was 10 out of 10 It was my wife's 50th today on booking I mentioned this but not really made to feel special as we have done at previous hotels in fact NOTHING !! I did ask re something in room ect... happy to pay but was informed they was going to place some prosecco in the room but I informed them that my wife does not drink did not really have any other options but the receptionist was trying her up most best help me out !! But think hands tied a little and did say would try to do something at breakfast tomorrow day after my wife's birthday but at least she has tried !!! Got some clothes laundered had to chase after they had not turned up one shirt had collar inserts missing on return both shirts had been placed on cheap coat hangers that left indentation mid shoulder of shirts better hanger or something to stop this happening would be recommended but again staff that picked up shirts and lady that dropped off were so so nice !!! So would I come back here again possibly but not definitely !! Location good majority of staff lovely but sadly few bad apples spoil the cart and left bad taste in mouth and lack of effort for wife's 50th ect,,, more leaning towards NOT !!! But I've got tonight and tomorrow night left so let's see you never know miracles do happen !!!

Decided to visit hotel in response to an ad for their Romance Couples package which consisted of a couples 50 minute massage, candlelight rooftop dinner at hotel restaurant, bottle of prosecco upon arrival and daily breakfast buffet. Package included a deluxe room or junior suite. Checked in and was advised no suites were available so we were given a “triple room” at the rear of the hotel. No view and the room was on the small side but clean and well stocked. Aside from the room being on the small side, everything else at the hotel is perfect. The staff is friendly and could not be more helpful. The massage was perfect and the breakfast buffet is out of this world. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant could not have been better. A few tips: Book your massages and dinner before you arrival to insure you get the days/times you wish. Hotel is a 10 minute wash from Trevi Fountain and a 20 minute cab ride to the Vatican. Check to make sure the location works for you. Enjoy!

Wonderful hotel in prime location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Artemide. We felt pampered from the luxurious robes to the bedding and sizable bathroom and spotlessly clean room. While in the heart of the city, it was perfectly quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was one of the two best breakfasts I have ever had. The breakfast alone was worth the stay. It was also really convenient to many sites and the train station, although you'd never know you were fairly close to the train station. The staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel! Stayed 3 nights and explored so much of Rome! Walking distance to all the main sights and I even walked back from Saint Peter’s! The breakfast was great every morning and they have a barista for coffee, espresso and so on. Hotel is spotless! Everyone at the front desk and the bell hops are very nice and helpful. You can’t go wrong with this choice and I can’t wait to come back!

The location is incredibly convenient. This hotel is in downtown Rome with cafes and shops close by. It’s very easy to get lost due to poor road name signs so be careful when venturing out. We walked to Trevi Fountain but it was up and down hills. You can take Uber or Taxi anywhere. The hotel lunch/dinner restaurant was pretty good but I wouldn’t really recommend it. The rooms were large and very quiet. The bed was great. (Firm) Employees were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Even though it is located on a busy street, our room was impressively quiet, which made it very comfortable to relax and sleep after long days exploring Rome. The rooftop bar was a lovely place to unwind in the evening, and the free minibar that was replenished every day was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection and high-quality food. A special thank you to the hotel team for the lovely surprise of a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily stay here again when visiting Rome.

Our family of four had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Artemide. We had two “connecting” rooms, which were next to each other behind an outer door. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. We all slept fabulously. Breakfast was delicious, as was the coffee. The location was great as well - close enough to walk to most of the sights but far enough away that it didn’t feel loud and overcrowded. The staff was wonderful - the ones that stood out to us were Ivan and Sebastian at the front desk and Salvatore in the breakfast room. They arranged a golf cart tour for us, which was a highlight of our trip. And their restaurant recommendations were all great. If you’re looking to avoid the overpriced chain hotels in Rome, we recommend Hotel Artemide.

What sets this hotel apart from the rest are the staff. Everyone we came in contact with were so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the breakfast staff, especially Sabine, who always made sure we had plenty to eat and drink, they even arranged a surprise cake for my friend’s birthday at breakfast which was a lovely touch. The roof top bar is a must, the bar tender and staff were always so happy and made amazing margaritas. The restaurant in the evening was wonderful, you have to book so make sure you get a booking while you are there, you won’t be disappointed. We were celebrating a big birthday and the staff made sure to make this as special as possible. We will def be back.

Room was lovely and despite the hotel being on a busy street we didn’t hear any outside noise. Breakfast was delicious and the staff in the breakfast room were excellent. The location is also great, within walking distance of most of the main tourist attractions and the reception were also happy to arrange a taxi if necessary. We were celebrating my daughter’s 40th birthday and the staff made it extra special so thank you. Would highly recommend.

We recently returned from our trip to Rome where we had the wonderful experience of staying at Hotel Artimide. We picked the hotel for its central location and previous reviews on Tripadvisor which gave it rave reviews. I want to tell you , the reviews were right! We were so blown away how lovely and friendly the hotel was on arrival. Our room was very nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely linens and soft sheets as well. The bathroom was also a good size and exceptionally clean. Great rain shower as well. The fridge had several items that are free and restocked daily. Juices, beer, water, prosecco. The hotel was very quiet at night. We never heard our neighbours through the walls day or night. Heating was no issue. The breakfast was the highlight of the hotel! It was a beautiful and bountiful spread with fruits, pastries, sliced meats, cheeses, hot dishes such as frittata, cooked veggies, various breads, and more. They made your coffee to order and it was the best espresso we had in Rome. The staff was super fun and really made sure you were happy. Many mornings they would also have a food surprise and bring to your table. The last morning they brought us fresh ricotta, it was amazing! We want to thank the great staff at the hotel and we cannot wait to return. Also easy for transport links, easy to Termini station and to the subway . Didn’t get to the spa, so cannot review that, but looked nice.

Returned to Hotel Artemidi for the second year running - together with friends who were visiting Rome for their first time. Wanted to make good impression, so Artemide was the obvious choice. As returning guests, the hotel were good enough to give us the same room as previous year, as requested - room 403 on top floor - very nice. Although the hotel is top notch, it is the staff who really make it - as is the case wherever you stay. We were warmly welcomed back and quickly checked-in, before luggage was taken up to our rooms, which had great views from the small top-floor balcony. Huge comfortable bed, ample storage, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, lovely bathroom with bath/shower over, slippers and robes - everything spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Also included fridge stocked with water, juices, beer and Prosecco - all complimentary/free of charge and replenished daily - very rare! Chocolates left in room every day - nice touch! Breakfast was the best we have had in Italy - everything you could want - all served by very upbeat staff, without exception. Coffee made fresh and served to table - no coffees machines here! Everything available was top class and delicious - could not fault anything. Hotel also had lovely spa (didn’t have time to use), and a huge roof-top restaurant, bar and terrace, which were very nice. Hotel was located on Via Nazionale, allowing easy access to Coleseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon - all 15 to 30 mins walking distance. Piazza Navona and Vatican a 15 euro Uber ride. Uber back to airport cost 45 euro. Once again, highly recommend Hotel Artemide.

Ma chambre côté cour offrait le calme malgré un emplacement très passant. L'hôtel est bien insonorisé, la salle de bain propre et très bien agencée. Le rooftop est magnifique et le choix du petit-déjeuner était varié et très bon. Le personnels d'accueil, du spa et du petit-déjeuner étaient tous, sans exception, souriants, attentifs et vraiment agréables. J'ai rarement été aussi bien reçu dans un hôtel. L'Artemide n'a fait que rendre mon séjour à Rome encore plus parfait.

Hotel staff were amazing before we even arrived answering emails promptly. They arranged airport transfers for us and provided us with restaurant recommendations. Aldo met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel - cost €80. It was well appointed with mini fridge filled with juices and water, hairdryer, safe. Coffee/tea tray with snacks and kettle Comfortable beds and pillows - slept well every night after a day of walking the streets of Rome Great shower and lovely big bath towels Breakfast has everything you are looking for - cereal, fruit, yoghurts, pastries, cakes, bread, cold meat, cheese, and hot items like scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, small roast potatoes Great location - republicca metro station is a 5 min walk at the top of via Nazionale, and there is a pharmacy and supermarket close to the hotel for a forgotten essentials. Most sights are within 15/20 min walk. There is a lovely ice cream parlour just a few shops up from the hotel - you need to try it - we tried after eight, Oreo, strawberry and cheesecake, salted caramel crunch. The hotel arranged our transfer back to the airport cost €65. Gym is well appointed and stocked with towels and water fridge.

We loved our suite. Extremely comfortable. It had its own private terrace area with a jacuzzi. The hotel location was excellent, very central, a reasonable walking distance from all the sights of Rome.
Cons: The jacuzzi temperature was far too hot, however, as we had a lot of rain, it became irrelevant as we couldn't use it. Everything else was perfect.

The location of Hotel Artemide is ideal - near the Colosseum and close to the train station. Is is also within walking distance of the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived and helped us several times during our stay with restaurant recommendations, directions to sites we wanted to see, and with calling a cab for us. The breakfast is outstanding and the dinner quite impressive. Our server, Lara, went above and beyond several times to be sure we had exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for its location and service.

Perfect mix of savory and sweet and genuinely high quality food. It’s an hour away from St. Peter’s Basilica by foot but you can see many sights in the way (Pantheon, Trevi Fountain). The price was great but could be due to off season.

Cons: Check in process very frustrating- they ask you to take a seat in an area out the side and then don’t come to communicate why you’re waiting. It was fine that we were too early for check in but the staff needed to communicate they were going to ignore us for 2 hours until check in time and instead provide an option to leave our bags rather than dismissing us twice when we asked when we would be able to speak to someone. We saw this happen to several other people who arrived too early (which again was not the issue - it was purely not having the staff talk to us at all or offer to keep our bags safe for us). This was not a great first impression of the hotel. Spa was expensive- an extra despite paying for rooms.

Cons: I wish there would have been more recycling options for the trash in our room. Not everything just mixed waste but metal, carboard and plastic could also be easily recycled if there were bins for it. I also had to ask the staff not to change the hand soap every day, but they did respect my wish very well.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and in a great location. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The restaurant was excellent! (Be sure to make reservations for the rooftop!) Our package included the breakfast buffet which was delicious.

This is one of the loveliest hotel I have stayed in. The room was perfect. It was spacious, clean and luxurious. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in and the room was so well equipped with everything we needed during our stay in Rome. The hotel team ensure that everything is perfect for guests. The complimentary minibar that is restocked every day is a wonderful treat as were the welcome drinks on arrival and the little chocolates left in the room on our last night. A special mention must go to the fantastic breakfast team! They were absolutely amazing. So friendly and welcoming, remembering which hot drinks we wanted in the morning without us needing to ask and their wonderful manner with any babies and children at breakfast was really lovely. The breakfast itself was the best we’ve had in a hotel. The options were vast and totally delicious! The rooftop restaurant menu looked incredible and we would have gone there if we had another night. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Hotel Artemide and if in Rome again would definitely book again. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Our second stay in this wonderful hotel. In an ideal location, only minutes from the Repubblica metro station, making it easy to get anywhere in Rome. From entering the hotel the staff were excellent, very efficient, always helpful, without being over obtrusive. We had a deluxe room, very clean and comfortable with a free mini bar that was refilled each day. A lovely roomy bathroom, with a shower and toiletries that were replaced each time they were used, lovely large white fluffy towels were replaced each day. The choice of breakfast was superb, with everything you could possibly imagine, so much choice. The waiter was so cheerful and friendly, from welcoming you into the breakfast room, to bringing coffee to the table. Our last day was my birthday, and to my surprise, a beautiful fresh fruit cake with a birthday candle was delivered to our table, a lovely unexpected surprise. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop restaurant which we only used to have a drink, we didn't eat there, but it must be lovely to sit there in the summer. There's also a spa in the hotel, although we didn't use that either. All in all a fabulous choice of hotel to which we would definitely return.

Cons: The hotel offered a paid shuttle to the airport so when I checked in and asked about the service, they saw my luggage and gave me a quote where they did not need to get a bigger vehicle. During the stay they put a letter in front of the door to check in with the reception regarding the shuttle. When I went to verify the shuttle reservation, they asked about my luggage situation and stated they will need to get a bigger vehicle which was 40 euros more. Also, the receptionist at the spa counter didn't seem to be helpful, was reluctant to give us available times. And the lobby smells like spa, just unfortunate that we didn't get to use it.

We were so impressed with this hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived from LA jet lagged. Booked the spa (they have a special rate for hotel guests) and began our stay with sauna/steam/jacuzzi time. We stayed in room 502 which is a penthouse suite & has its own rooftop terrace and hot tub—-booked with my credit card points. Our room was quiet and well heated, also well-sized (by American standards) and we slept so well. Hotel breakfast was outstanding! They have everything: hearty nourishing things like eggs, meats, veggies, sweets, great coffee. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in our world travels. We were there just after Christmas and all the decorations added extra fun.

This was our second time at Hotel Artimide, and it was wonderful, just like our first stay. Our room was perfect: clean, dry quiet, well designed, and complete with a free mini bar including mineral water, snacks, prosecco and beer. But it’s the people here who make the hotel special. The front desk people are all wonderful, and Alessandro and his crew in the breakfast room are incredible! He is a true professional, and it’s clear his staff have learned well from him. Can’t say enough about his kindness and that of his entire crew. We will be back!

The Artemide Hotel is more like a home than a hotel. It is beautiful inside, but the real beauty is the wonderful, caring staff and administrators of the Artemide. From the moment you walk in the door, you are made to feel welcome as if you come into a family. At the front desk, you are greeted warmly, and when you enter your room, everything is in order and beautifully stated. When my wife and I were out at night, she never said “let’s go back to the hotel”. She said “let’s go home”. That pretty much sums up the essence of our experience. We enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast every morning, and by the second day, they knew exactly what we wanted, and it was there without even asking. And that was done with enthusiasm and a big smile by all of the staff that worked that buffet. Our hotel room attendant did an amazing job. The sheets were always clean, the room was always immaculate and it felt great just to walk in the door. The staff care more about each individual guest as a person than they do simply as a guest. I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful experience that my wife and I had at the Hotel Artemide. We look forward to going “home” to the Artemide whenever we visit Rome.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and our junior suite had enough room for my wife and I to spread out a little during our week long stay. The front desk staff was incredible and helped us tremendously in arranging transportation, recommending restaurants, etc. The free mini bar in the room was a wonderful perk, as was the free breakfast. The hotel is located on a busy commercial street a few blocks away from the train station, close enough to be convenient to the Repubblica subway station without being unduly close to some of the less pleasant areas adjacent to Termini. The historic core, Trevi Fountain, etc are walkable, but not exactly “close.” All in all a good option.

I just checked out of this hotel after staying a week from November 24, 2025 to December 1, 2025. I would like to say that I travel alot and this is on my list as a good hotel. It was a very nice, pleasant, and CLEAN hotel. The staff was amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing! Sebastian, Valentina, Adi, Marco, and the list goes on. I fell on a tour the first day and had to use a scooter for my stay. They made sure nightly that it was charged for my next day's adventure. They have amazing recommendations and are so very helpful. The hotel restaurant food is great! They are 5 minutes from the Roma Termini Train station one direction and 6 blocks and to the left of the Colosseum. The shopping was amazing as well. I fully recommend this hotel and the next time I come back, it will be with my husband and we will stay here. There sister hotel in Florence is Hotel Spadai. That is a must do as well which is down the street from the Duomo.

The whole hotel had such a warm, cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar, which is absolutely amazing. On our last night, we were served by **Mauricio**, who crafted some of the best signature espresso martinis we’ve ever had. It was an unforgettable way to end our time in Rome. We would definitely love to stay at Hotel Artemide again. It was a bit of a splurge for us since we were celebrating our honeymoon, but it was worth every moment. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Hotel Artemide in Rome. I selected it because its location is central and walkable to the rail station as well as many of the historic sites. When we arrived, we found ourselves transformed from the hectic street to a calm and classy atmosphere inside. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. When we checked in we were upgraded to a larger room which was nice (guests should be aware that the rooms tend to be smaller than those in modern American hotels). We enjoyed dinner twice the Ambrosia roof-top restaurant and found it to be charming and picturesque with its views of the city skyline. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary with its huge number of choices. The staff actually packed us a breakfast to go twice when we had to leave early for scheduled tours. We also enjoyed a couples massage for the very reasonable price of $75 per person, then made use of the saunas and pool at the Artemis Spa in the basement. We highly recommend Hotel Artemide.

My stay at Hotel Artemide was okay overall. The service and staff were truly exceptional — everyone was polite, attentive, and tried to help. However, the room was extremely small for nearly $400 per night, and it did not include breakfast (which was an additional $14 per person). The morning buffet was good, but at that price, it should really be included. The biggest issue was the shower leakage — every time we took a shower, water would leak all over the bathroom floor. We had to use four or five towels each day just to soak it up. It was very inconvenient. We didn’t contact maintenance during our stay because we didn’t want people coming in to repair it, but it’s definitely something the hotel should fix. There was no bathtub, which was disappointing considering the price. The spa required swimsuits, which we didn’t bring since it was October — it would have been nice if that had been clearly mentioned in advance. The location was decent, but the surrounding area felt a bit sketchy, with some questionable shops and people around. Overall, excellent staff and service, but the room size, shower issue, and value for the price left me disappointed.

First time in Rome and our stay here was fantastic. The morning breakfast was absolutely the best we have ever had, off the charts. The staff was very friendly, nice and helpful with our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the food on the roof was delicious.

After reading so many glowing reviews about Hotel Artemide, I had high expectations — and it still managed to exceed every single one! From check-in to check-out, everything was top-notch. Our room was elegant, immaculate, and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was outstanding — truly one of the best we’ve ever had — and the hotel’s happy hour was a great bonus. But the highlight of our stay was dinner at the on-site restaurant, Ambrosia. It was hands down the best meal of our entire trip — delicious food, beautiful presentation, great view of the City and exceptional service. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, helping us book outings and offering great tips for exploring the city. The location was perfect — close to everything but quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep. We’ll absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Rome. Hotel Artemide is a gem!

素晴らしいロケーションとお部屋はリビングとキングサイズのベッドルームでした。インテリアがクラシックで素敵、ゆったりしたリビングにエキストラベッドで家族三人での滞在で三泊しました。ウェルカムのワインやお菓子が用意されていて、冷蔵庫の飲み物やお菓子類はオールインクルーシブ、スパークリングワインやイタリアのビール、ジュース類も充実していて快適に過ごせました。国鉄駅まで徒歩10分ほど、コロッセオまで徒歩２０分で、朝お散歩がてら遺跡を見て歩けたのは大変良かったです。ルーフトップにステキなレストランやバーが有り、レストランやバーも滞在中に楽しめました。朝食が素晴らしく、イタリア人の朝食は甘いものとエスプレッソと聞いていましたが、デザートバイキング？と思うほどケーキ類やペストリーの種類も多かったです。スモークサーモン、ハム類も質が良く大変充実した朝食バイキングでした。
Cons: コーヒーカップがエスプレッソ用の小さなカップしか無くて、エスプレッソマシーンには２種類の量が選べるので、ふつうの大きさのカップも有れば良かったと思いました。ルーフトップレストランはコースで予約していましたが、最初のディナーでかなり期待していましたが、ワインは充実していましたが、アラカルトでオーダーした方が良かったと思いました。イノベーティブなお料理で、ローマで食事しているという気があまりしなかったからです。

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Artemide earlier this month! We agreed that the level of service was the best of any hotel to which we have ever traveled. Our suite was clean and well-maintained throughout the trip and front desk staff were consistently helpful. Even the slightest issue/question we raised (e.g. replacing coffee pods with preferred type, providing service at a specified time, shower leak affecting our fresh towels, initial staff confusion about wine included with a candlelit dinner package etc) was met with immediate assistance with a positive attitude--the few tiny issues raised were all resolved immediately by front desk, housekeeping, and food service staff. The breakfast provided was the best of any complimentary breakfast I have ever received at a hotel (though I wish eggs were cooked to order), with delicious espresso, abundant fresh fruits and vegetables, smoked salmon and other meats, croissants, pancakes, and other baked goods, as well as bacon, sausage, and other favorites. We had a restful couples massage in Artemis with kind and capable staff; the prices for the spa facility are very reasonable. The desk provided us with helpful recommendations in getting around Rome on foot and by subway, and coordinated our transportation to the airport for our return. We look forward to returning again and cannot say enough positive things about Artemide! Thank you to your staff!

We stayed at the Hotel Artemide in Rome for our 50th anniversary in September. The hotel is absolutely amazing and the service unbelievable! They gave us a bottle of wine and a card upon arrival and even let us get in the room early, which was nice after traveling from the US. Our room was lovely… Yes, not huge but absolutely beautiful with a small balcony that we were not expecting! and the fact that the mini bar is free and replaced daily is such a big convenience. It is centrally located and very walkable to most things that you want to see while in Rome… We did take a cab ride to the Vatican for our tour though because we weren’t sure how long it would take walking …just be careful of the cab drivers and always make sure to ask if their meter and credit card meter are working before you get in… We learned that the hard way with one cab driver, but most were just fine. The hotel arranged for a tour for us to Pompei and Sorrento, which was absolutely phenomenal and a must do! And that breakfast! Absolutely fantastic and the staff that works the breakfast room should be given raises for their kindness and dedication to serving their customers! All in all we had a great experience and we also highly recommend to take advantage of the hop on hop off bus in Rome… You can go all over the city as many times as you want . Rome is big so you do get tired easily… We are avid walkers, and we still appreciated riding on the bus! All in all the hotel Artemide is the perfect hotel to be in while staying in Rome !!!!

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with plenty of fresh options to start the day right & cheerful service with great coffees. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rome.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was perfectly located for many of the main tourist sites and for getting to and from the Termini station. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful especially those serving breakfast.

This is my second stay at Hotel Artemide and it has now become my Roman home. I stumbled upon it initially through a positive online review which did not disappoint. It is located within walking distance of Old Rome such as the Colosseum, Palatine Hill as well as important religious sites like Santa Maria Maggiore where Pope Francis is buried and St Paul Episcopal Church where there seems to be nightly concerts. I've stayed in the basic as well as the next level up and prefer the comfort room because it is more spacious. The breakfast is exceptional and a great value with superb staff and hosts. The hotel is clean and beautiful throughout with marble floors in the lobby and a nice pleasant sitting area where I often planned my day. The spa is great but don't forget your bathing suit as it can be tricky to find one. Rome is noisy so you can't get away completely from the noise but the insulated windows help. No need to look further, you have stumbled upon a gem in Rome!

Our daughter stayed here 8 years ago and told us we had to do the same if we ever went to Rome. She was 100% right! While checking in, we were given a free and unexpected upgrade to a larger, corner room which got our 3-night stay off to a great start. The room was very nice with a comfy king bed, spacious shower (with an odd 6-inch step up into it), strong air conditioner, and a small sitting area. Other mentioned lots of street noise and sirens but we didn’t hear any of that. Oh, and did I mention the room’s minibar is FREE! Snacks, water, beer, wine…FREE! Not sure if I’ve ever seen that but it was appreciated after a long day of sightseeing and touring. For North American travelers, note that the outlets don’t accept our plugs but the bathroom does have one. Make sure you bring a voltage and outlet adapter. The location is great and all the major sites are within a 40-minute walk. That may sound like a lot to some people, but sometimes it is faster (and way cheaper) than a taxi or Uber that sits in endless Rome traffic. Plus while walking you can soak in the neighborhood vibes and maybe discover a cool restaurant or gelato place. The rooftop restaurant was also really good and they happened to have a tequila Negroni event going on all week where their master mixologist crafted some creative and tasty drinks. Last but not least…the breakfast buffet. Yowza! The variety, selection, quality, and service were top-notch. I wish I had taken a picture but you won’t find many hotel breakfast buffets like this one. A great way to start your day assuming you don’t overeat and have to waddle out of there. Five stars…two thumbs up… round of applause… this place deserves it all!

We love Hotel Artemide. We've stayed there twice, for our wedding anniversary, the first time two years ago, and the second time in September 2025. We stay in the honeymoon suite which is a beautiful room with a rooftop patio and hot tub! The hotel showers you with gifts if you stay in this room, a welcome bottle of sparkling wine, the most amazing orchid flower bouquet, and an amazing dinner experience at their rooftop restaurant (not to mention the stocked minifridge with beer, wine, and soft drinks in every room!). This year, we went with another couple and the hotel pulled out all the stops. Our Ambrosia dinner experience was amazing, it included more food than we could eat, a cocktail, and a bottle of wine, and the service was excellent. The location is amazing, central to many of Rome's treasures.

The hotel was perfectly located — everything was within walking distance. The breakfast each morning had absolutely everything you could possibly want, such an impressive array of offerings. The rooms were beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully provided, including a sewing kit. We had dinner there one evening on the rooftop deck, which was a beautiful setting, and enjoyed a lovely evening drink there another night. The staff were all so helpful and kind. It truly was a unique and special find — highly recommended!

This was probably my favorite hotel experience of my life. The service was amazing. Breakfast was astounding! Room was immaculate and they restocked our minibar and snacks everyday. Our room had a Nespresso machine and it was a great pick me up treat when we took midday breaks. I hope we stay there again!

E mesmo não tendo encontrado nenhum funcionário que falasse português neste serviço, fomos bem entendidos e tmb entendemos, rsrs. Variedade de frutas no café; frutas deliciosas. Doces, frios, opções salgadas, etc. Quarto confortável (512), limpo, perfumado, silencioso e bem decorado. O rooftop é lindo, boa música ambiente e bom serviço. A foto postada pelo hotel não mostra toda a beleza do lugar e da vista, especialmente no horário do por do sol.

One of the main criteria I use in selecting a hotel is cleanliness. Every common spot and our room was immaculate. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in creating a list of local restaurants that were not "tourist traps." We had excellent meals at both of the recommended ones. I sustained a leg injury on my trip, making it difficult to walk. The desk staff offerred ice for my injury, and supplied a wheelchair to make it easier to get to the lobby for checking out. I have diabetes, so eating sweet treats in the morning is not an option. It can often be challenging to find healthy food choices on buffets. Their buffet had plenty of protein choices from which to choose. The smoked salmon, turkey and unsugared yogurt helped me stay on track. I highly recommend Hotel Artemide. They take so many extra steps to be certain that each guest is happy and feels welcome!

We can honestly say that the breakfast at the Hotel Artemide was the best of our entire 18-day trip. You can tell that the chefs and bakers great pride in their beautiful display and exquisite dishes. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Artemide the next time we are in Rome.

If you were ever contemplating staying at any hotel in the heart of Rome (Roma), Hotel Artemide is the perfect place for you! I took my wife to Rome for her birthday and picked the honeymoon package at this hotel; it was phenomenal! They kept in touch from the moment I made my reservation, and on the day of our arrival, not having being to Rome before, I asked for an airport pickup and they made it happen in a stressless manner. Then from the moment we arrived at the hotel, both Ivan “The Terrible” (as he’s jokingly called because he looks like the historical figure but he’s the sweetest guy ever) and Valentina received us very warmly. Our stay there was memorable, the entire staff were very friendly and helpful, and the kitchen staff made a special fruit tart for my wife on her birthday at a very short notice (with a lit candle and all). The Artemis Spa was also very relaxing and the masseuses were excellent. Finally, the rooftop Ambrosia restaurant truly lived up to its reputation. The host was awesome and the waters very knowledgeable and professional. All in all, it was a magical experience, thanks to Hotel Artemide and their staff. I know I scored some major Brownie Points on this one.

Great location - within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. And the staff is friendly and helpful. Just the price of the spa seemed a bit high, but overall a very good stay experience.

The staff working in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. I didn't really find other members of staff that friendly, especially the reception staff. I was staying on the fifth floor and there was a lot of noise like glass bottles being loaded into a skip, this happened each morning between 4am -5am. On check out i mentioned it and was told it may of came from another room? Odd, the noise was definitely coming from outside my room. Wouldn't stay in this hotel again. Plenty others to chose from. Wasn't overly impressed.

Hotel Artemide exceeded our expectations for our 30th Anniversary. Ivan made our 4 days so memorable. Prior to our arrival, Ivan helped us plan/book transportation, tours and he was spot on with every restaurant recommendation. When we arrived we received a room upgrade and a surprise bottle of wine for our special occasion. Every member of staff was just lovely! The breakfast buffet was an incredible feast and the rooftop bar was a great way to end the day. The location is a short walk or Uber to any hot spot you want to see in Rome. Thank you for making this once in a lifetime trip so amazing!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday in Rome a few days ago and stayed at this wonderful hotel. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are fab and breakfast was spectacular. We usually like to wander around and find different places for breakfast, but we had one look at what was on offer and knew we'd be coming back throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, making our stay even more special. We would (and already have) recommend Hotel Artemides to anyone planning to visit Rome.

Hotel Artemide is located a short walk from Roma Termini. The hotel is immaculate and our room was nicely appointed and quite comfortable. Among the various hotels at which my family has stayed in Rome over the years, this is by far the best, particularly the breakfast and its friendly and accommodating staff. I look forward to my next stay.
