De l'emplacement aux personnels si aimables, souriants et aux petits soins, en passant par le petit-déjeuner, le rooftop et le SPA. Tout était parfait. Ma chambre côté cour offrait le calme malgré un emplacement très passant. L'hôtel est bien insonorisé, la salle de bain propre et très bien agencée. Le rooftop est magnifique et le choix du petit-déjeuner était varié et très bon. Le personnels d'accueil, du spa et du petit-déjeuner étaient tous, sans exception, souriants, attentifs et vraiment agréables. J'ai rarement été aussi bien reçu dans un hôtel. L'Artemide n'a fait que rendre mon séjour à Rome encore plus parfait.

Friendly staff, the Brazilian front desk guy (sorry didn't catch the name) is the best, very funny and kind. Overall very good service, clean rooms, breakfast only $14 and it’s very good- lots of variety. Thank you guys!

Hotel staff were amazing before we even arrived answering emails promptly. They arranged airport transfers for us and provided us with restaurant recommendations. Aldo met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel - cost €80. Warmly welcomed at reception and provided with information about the hotel and given a map of the local area with explanation of where we were and major attractions We had booked a deluxe triple room. It was well appointed with mini fridge filled with juices and water, hairdryer, safe. Coffee/tea tray with snacks and kettle Comfortable beds and pillows - slept well every night after a day of walking the streets of Rome Great shower and lovely big bath towels Breakfast has everything you are looking for - cereal, fruit, yoghurts, pastries, cakes, bread, cold meat, cheese, and hot items like scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, small roast potatoes Great location - republicca metro station is a 5 min walk at the top of via Nazionale, and there is a pharmacy and supermarket close to the hotel for a forgotten essentials. Most sights are within 15/20 min walk. There is a lovely ice cream parlour just a few shops up from the hotel - you need to try it - we tried after eight, Oreo, strawberry and cheesecake, salted caramel crunch. The hotel arranged our transfer back to the airport cost €65. Gym is well appointed and stocked with towels and water fridge.

We loved our suite. Extremely comfortable. It had its own private terrace area with a jacuzzi. The hotel location was excellent, very central, a reasonable walking distance from all the sights of Rome.
Cons: The jacuzzi temperature was far too hot, however, as we had a lot of rain, it became irrelevant as we couldn't use it. Everything else was perfect.

Overall the hotel was well situated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. Bed was comfy, air con was efficient. Amenities in the room were good.
Cons: When we arrived in the room the curtains were shut as were the shutters. Sadly when opened there was no view - in fact we overlooked a derelict building.

The location of Hotel Artemide is ideal - near the Colosseum and close to the train station. Is is also within walking distance of the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived and helped us several times during our stay with restaurant recommendations, directions to sites we wanted to see, and with calling a cab for us. The breakfast is outstanding and the dinner quite impressive. Our server, Lara, went above and beyond several times to be sure we had exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for its location and service.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy and fully stocked albeit a bit small. The breakfast is the most amazing one I’ve ever had. Perfect mix of savory and sweet and genuinely high quality food. It’s an hour away from St. Peter’s Basilica by foot but you can see many sights in the way (Pantheon, Trevi Fountain). The price was great but could be due to off season.

Hotel in a prime location in Rome for sightseeing. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Rooftop bar/restaurant with excellent views. Spa with packages that can be booked in advance. I booked the Energizer package and had a relaxing experience. Hotel breakfast was delicious with numerous options on both food and drinks. Room for three people was spacious and clean with complimentary minibar. Quiet and comfortable with AC/heat and working elevators. I will return next time I am in Rome.

Das gesamte Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Eine Seltenheit, die sich das Hotel unbedingt bewahren sollte. Insbesondere morgens beim Frühstück wurde man schon fast als gute Freunde begrüßt. Toll, es ist nichts zu verbessern. Vom Hotel aus kann man die meisten touristischen Ziele sehr gut zu Fuß erkunden. Es hat uns alles ausgesprochen gut gefallen

Cons: Check in process very frustrating- they ask you to take a seat in an area out the side and then don’t come to communicate why you’re waiting. It was fine that we were too early for check in but the staff needed to communicate they were going to ignore us for 2 hours until check in time and instead provide an option to leave our bags rather than dismissing us twice when we asked when we would be able to speak to someone. We saw this happen to several other people who arrived too early (which again was not the issue - it was purely not having the staff talk to us at all or offer to keep our bags safe for us). This was not a great first impression of the hotel. Spa was expensive- an extra despite paying for rooms.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and in a great location. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The restaurant was excellent! (Be sure to make reservations for the rooftop!) Our package included the breakfast buffet which was delicious.
Cons: Honestly the only thing that might bother some was the room size was on the smaller side. (It didn’t bother us at all, just trying to be honest and helpful.)

Cons: I wish there would have been more recycling options for the trash in our room. Not everything just mixed waste but metal, carboard and plastic could also be easily recycled if there were bins for it. I also had to ask the staff not to change the hand soap every day, but they did respect my wish very well.

This is one of the loveliest hotel I have stayed in. The room was perfect. It was spacious, clean and luxurious. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in and the room was so well equipped with everything we needed during our stay in Rome. The hotel team ensure that everything is perfect for guests. The complimentary minibar that is restocked every day is a wonderful treat as were the welcome drinks on arrival and the little chocolates left in the room on our last night. A special mention must go to the fantastic breakfast team! They were absolutely amazing. So friendly and welcoming, remembering which hot drinks we wanted in the morning without us needing to ask and their wonderful manner with any babies and children at breakfast was really lovely. The breakfast itself was the best we’ve had in a hotel. The options were vast and totally delicious! The rooftop restaurant menu looked incredible and we would have gone there if we had another night. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Hotel Artemide and if in Rome again would definitely book again. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Our second stay in this wonderful hotel. In an ideal location, only minutes from the Repubblica metro station, making it easy to get anywhere in Rome. From entering the hotel the staff were excellent, very efficient, always helpful, without being over obtrusive. We had a deluxe room, very clean and comfortable with a free mini bar that was refilled each day. A lovely roomy bathroom, with a shower and toiletries that were replaced each time they were used, lovely large white fluffy towels were replaced each day. The choice of breakfast was superb, with everything you could possibly imagine, so much choice. The waiter was so cheerful and friendly, from welcoming you into the breakfast room, to bringing coffee to the table. Our last day was my birthday, and to my surprise, a beautiful fresh fruit cake with a birthday candle was delivered to our table, a lovely unexpected surprise. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop restaurant which we only used to have a drink, we didn't eat there, but it must be lovely to sit there in the summer. There's also a spa in the hotel, although we didn't use that either. All in all a fabulous choice of hotel to which we would definitely return.

So many great things about this hotel - it’s spotless, it’s got amazing art, the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, the beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious and did I mention spotless? There was a lot of compliment about the breakfast where it was a huge buffet full of food. It was a buffet and it was good, but maybe I had high expectation. A lot of options were there, but it's a bit more, not a huge difference.
Cons: The hotel offered a paid shuttle to the airport so when I checked in and asked about the service, they saw my luggage and gave me a quote where they did not need to get a bigger vehicle. During the stay they put a letter in front of the door to check in with the reception regarding the shuttle. When I went to verify the shuttle reservation, they asked about my luggage situation and stated they will need to get a bigger vehicle which was 40 euros more. Also, the receptionist at the spa counter didn't seem to be helpful, was reluctant to give us available times. And the lobby smells like spa, just unfortunate that we didn't get to use it.

We were so impressed with this hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived from LA jet lagged. Booked the spa (they have a special rate for hotel guests) and began our stay with sauna/steam/jacuzzi time. We stayed in room 502 which is a penthouse suite & has its own rooftop terrace and hot tub—-booked with my credit card points. Our room was quiet and well heated, also well-sized (by American standards) and we slept so well. Hotel breakfast was outstanding! They have everything: hearty nourishing things like eggs, meats, veggies, sweets, great coffee. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in our world travels. We were there just after Christmas and all the decorations added extra fun.

This was our second time at Hotel Artimide, and it was wonderful, just like our first stay. Our room was perfect: clean, dry quiet, well designed, and complete with a free mini bar including mineral water, snacks, prosecco and beer. But it’s the people here who make the hotel special. The front desk people are all wonderful, and Alessandro and his crew in the breakfast room are incredible! He is a true professional, and it’s clear his staff have learned well from him. Can’t say enough about his kindness and that of his entire crew. We will be back!

The Artemide Hotel is more like a home than a hotel. It is beautiful inside, but the real beauty is the wonderful, caring staff and administrators of the Artemide. From the moment you walk in the door, you are made to feel welcome as if you come into a family. At the front desk, you are greeted warmly, and when you enter your room, everything is in order and beautifully stated. When my wife and I were out at night, she never said “let’s go back to the hotel”. She said “let’s go home”. That pretty much sums up the essence of our experience. We enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast every morning, and by the second day, they knew exactly what we wanted, and it was there without even asking. And that was done with enthusiasm and a big smile by all of the staff that worked that buffet. Our hotel room attendant did an amazing job. The sheets were always clean, the room was always immaculate and it felt great just to walk in the door. The staff care more about each individual guest as a person than they do simply as a guest. I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful experience that my wife and I had at the Hotel Artemide. We look forward to going “home” to the Artemide whenever we visit Rome.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and our junior suite had enough room for my wife and I to spread out a little during our week long stay. The front desk staff was incredible and helped us tremendously in arranging transportation, recommending restaurants, etc. The free mini bar in the room was a wonderful perk, as was the free breakfast. The hotel is located on a busy commercial street a few blocks away from the train station, close enough to be convenient to the Repubblica subway station without being unduly close to some of the less pleasant areas adjacent to Termini. The historic core, Trevi Fountain, etc are walkable, but not exactly “close.” All in all a good option.

I just checked out of this hotel after staying a week from November 24, 2025 to December 1, 2025. I would like to say that I travel alot and this is on my list as a good hotel. It was a very nice, pleasant, and CLEAN hotel. The staff was amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing! Sebastian, Valentina, Adi, Marco, and the list goes on. I fell on a tour the first day and had to use a scooter for my stay. They made sure nightly that it was charged for my next day's adventure. They have amazing recommendations and are so very helpful. The hotel restaurant food is great! They are 5 minutes from the Roma Termini Train station one direction and 6 blocks and to the left of the Colosseum. The shopping was amazing as well. I fully recommend this hotel and the next time I come back, it will be with my husband and we will stay here. There sister hotel in Florence is Hotel Spadai. That is a must do as well which is down the street from the Duomo.

Our room was always perfectly cleaned and fully stocked, and the team was incredibly helpful in arranging rides and answering any questions we had throughout our stay. The whole hotel had such a warm, cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar, which is absolutely amazing. On our last night, we were served by **Mauricio**, who crafted some of the best signature espresso martinis we’ve ever had. It was an unforgettable way to end our time in Rome. We would definitely love to stay at Hotel Artemide again. It was a bit of a splurge for us since we were celebrating our honeymoon, but it was worth every moment. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Hotel Artemide in Rome. I selected it because its location is central and walkable to the rail station as well as many of the historic sites. When we arrived, we found ourselves transformed from the hectic street to a calm and classy atmosphere inside. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. When we checked in we were upgraded to a larger room which was nice (guests should be aware that the rooms tend to be smaller than those in modern American hotels). We enjoyed dinner twice the Ambrosia roof-top restaurant and found it to be charming and picturesque with its views of the city skyline. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary with its huge number of choices. The staff actually packed us a breakfast to go twice when we had to leave early for scheduled tours. We also enjoyed a couples massage for the very reasonable price of $75 per person, then made use of the saunas and pool at the Artemis Spa in the basement. We highly recommend Hotel Artemide.

My stay at Hotel Artemide was okay overall. The service and staff were truly exceptional — everyone was polite, attentive, and tried to help. However, the room was extremely small for nearly $400 per night, and it did not include breakfast (which was an additional $14 per person). The morning buffet was good, but at that price, it should really be included. The biggest issue was the shower leakage — every time we took a shower, water would leak all over the bathroom floor. We had to use four or five towels each day just to soak it up. It was very inconvenient. We didn’t contact maintenance during our stay because we didn’t want people coming in to repair it, but it’s definitely something the hotel should fix. There was no bathtub, which was disappointing considering the price. The spa required swimsuits, which we didn’t bring since it was October — it would have been nice if that had been clearly mentioned in advance. The location was decent, but the surrounding area felt a bit sketchy, with some questionable shops and people around. Overall, excellent staff and service, but the room size, shower issue, and value for the price left me disappointed.

This is a luxurious and yet warm and welcoming hotel. All of the staff were kind and helpful and professional. The room was very comfortable and stocked with many amenities. We didn't have dinner at the rooftop restaurant but the breakfast buffet was excellent and the servers were great. The hotel offers spa treatments and other services, but we just wanted a relaxing and comfortable stay. I would love to go back someday.

After reading so many glowing reviews about Hotel Artemide, I had high expectations — and it still managed to exceed every single one! From check-in to check-out, everything was top-notch. Our room was elegant, immaculate, and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was outstanding — truly one of the best we’ve ever had — and the hotel’s happy hour was a great bonus. But the highlight of our stay was dinner at the on-site restaurant, Ambrosia. It was hands down the best meal of our entire trip — delicious food, beautiful presentation, great view of the City and exceptional service. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, helping us book outings and offering great tips for exploring the city. The location was perfect — close to everything but quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep. We’ll absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Rome. Hotel Artemide is a gem!

素晴らしいロケーションとお部屋はリビングとキングサイズのベッドルームでした。インテリアがクラシックで素敵、ゆったりしたリビングにエキストラベッドで家族三人での滞在で三泊しました。ウェルカムのワインやお菓子が用意されていて、冷蔵庫の飲み物やお菓子類はオールインクルーシブ、スパークリングワインやイタリアのビール、ジュース類も充実していて快適に過ごせました。国鉄駅まで徒歩10分ほど、コロッセオまで徒歩２０分で、朝お散歩がてら遺跡を見て歩けたのは大変良かったです。ルーフトップにステキなレストランやバーが有り、レストランやバーも滞在中に楽しめました。朝食が素晴らしく、イタリア人の朝食は甘いものとエスプレッソと聞いていましたが、デザートバイキング？と思うほどケーキ類やペストリーの種類も多かったです。スモークサーモン、ハム類も質が良く大変充実した朝食バイキングでした。
Cons: コーヒーカップがエスプレッソ用の小さなカップしか無くて、エスプレッソマシーンには２種類の量が選べるので、ふつうの大きさのカップも有れば良かったと思いました。ルーフトップレストランはコースで予約していましたが、最初のディナーでかなり期待していましたが、ワインは充実していましたが、アラカルトでオーダーした方が良かったと思いました。イノベーティブなお料理で、ローマで食事しているという気があまりしなかったからです。

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Artemide earlier this month! We agreed that the level of service was the best of any hotel to which we have ever traveled. Our suite was clean and well-maintained throughout the trip and front desk staff were consistently helpful. Even the slightest issue/question we raised (e.g. replacing coffee pods with preferred type, providing service at a specified time, shower leak affecting our fresh towels, initial staff confusion about wine included with a candlelit dinner package etc) was met with immediate assistance with a positive attitude--the few tiny issues raised were all resolved immediately by front desk, housekeeping, and food service staff. The breakfast provided was the best of any complimentary breakfast I have ever received at a hotel (though I wish eggs were cooked to order), with delicious espresso, abundant fresh fruits and vegetables, smoked salmon and other meats, croissants, pancakes, and other baked goods, as well as bacon, sausage, and other favorites. We had a restful couples massage in Artemis with kind and capable staff; the prices for the spa facility are very reasonable. The desk provided us with helpful recommendations in getting around Rome on foot and by subway, and coordinated our transportation to the airport for our return. We look forward to returning again and cannot say enough positive things about Artemide! Thank you to your staff!

We stayed at the Hotel Artemide in Rome for our 50th anniversary in September. The hotel is absolutely amazing and the service unbelievable! They gave us a bottle of wine and a card upon arrival and even let us get in the room early, which was nice after traveling from the US. Our room was lovely… Yes, not huge but absolutely beautiful with a small balcony that we were not expecting! and the fact that the mini bar is free and replaced daily is such a big convenience. It is centrally located and very walkable to most things that you want to see while in Rome… We did take a cab ride to the Vatican for our tour though because we weren’t sure how long it would take walking …just be careful of the cab drivers and always make sure to ask if their meter and credit card meter are working before you get in… We learned that the hard way with one cab driver, but most were just fine. The hotel arranged for a tour for us to Pompei and Sorrento, which was absolutely phenomenal and a must do! And that breakfast! Absolutely fantastic and the staff that works the breakfast room should be given raises for their kindness and dedication to serving their customers! All in all we had a great experience and we also highly recommend to take advantage of the hop on hop off bus in Rome… You can go all over the city as many times as you want . Rome is big so you do get tired easily… We are avid walkers, and we still appreciated riding on the bus! All in all the hotel Artemide is the perfect hotel to be in while staying in Rome !!!!

This is my second stay at Hotel Artemide and it has now become my Roman home. I stumbled upon it initially through a positive online review which did not disappoint. It is located within walking distance of Old Rome such as the Colosseum, Palatine Hill as well as important religious sites like Santa Maria Maggiore where Pope Francis is buried and St Paul Episcopal Church where there seems to be nightly concerts. I've stayed in the basic as well as the next level up and prefer the comfort room because it is more spacious. The breakfast is exceptional and a great value with superb staff and hosts. The hotel is clean and beautiful throughout with marble floors in the lobby and a nice pleasant sitting area where I often planned my day. The spa is great but don't forget your bathing suit as it can be tricky to find one. Rome is noisy so you can't get away completely from the noise but the insulated windows help. No need to look further, you have stumbled upon a gem in Rome!

Our daughter stayed here 8 years ago and told us we had to do the same if we ever went to Rome. She was 100% right! While checking in, we were given a free and unexpected upgrade to a larger, corner room which got our 3-night stay off to a great start. The room was very nice with a comfy king bed, spacious shower (with an odd 6-inch step up into it), strong air conditioner, and a small sitting area. Other mentioned lots of street noise and sirens but we didn’t hear any of that. Oh, and did I mention the room’s minibar is FREE! Snacks, water, beer, wine…FREE! Not sure if I’ve ever seen that but it was appreciated after a long day of sightseeing and touring. For North American travelers, note that the outlets don’t accept our plugs but the bathroom does have one. Make sure you bring a voltage and outlet adapter. The location is great and all the major sites are within a 40-minute walk. That may sound like a lot to some people, but sometimes it is faster (and way cheaper) than a taxi or Uber that sits in endless Rome traffic. Plus while walking you can soak in the neighborhood vibes and maybe discover a cool restaurant or gelato place. The rooftop restaurant was also really good and they happened to have a tequila Negroni event going on all week where their master mixologist crafted some creative and tasty drinks. Last but not least…the breakfast buffet. Yowza! The variety, selection, quality, and service were top-notch. I wish I had taken a picture but you won’t find many hotel breakfast buffets like this one. A great way to start your day assuming you don’t overeat and have to waddle out of there. Five stars…two thumbs up… round of applause… this place deserves it all!

We love Hotel Artemide. We've stayed there twice, for our wedding anniversary, the first time two years ago, and the second time in September 2025. We stay in the honeymoon suite which is a beautiful room with a rooftop patio and hot tub! The hotel showers you with gifts if you stay in this room, a welcome bottle of sparkling wine, the most amazing orchid flower bouquet, and an amazing dinner experience at their rooftop restaurant (not to mention the stocked minifridge with beer, wine, and soft drinks in every room!). This year, we went with another couple and the hotel pulled out all the stops. Our Ambrosia dinner experience was amazing, it included more food than we could eat, a cocktail, and a bottle of wine, and the service was excellent. The location is amazing, central to many of Rome's treasures.

The hotel was perfectly located — everything was within walking distance. The breakfast each morning had absolutely everything you could possibly want, such an impressive array of offerings. The rooms were beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully provided, including a sewing kit. We had dinner there one evening on the rooftop deck, which was a beautiful setting, and enjoyed a lovely evening drink there another night. The staff were all so helpful and kind. It truly was a unique and special find — highly recommended!

One of the main criteria I use in selecting a hotel is cleanliness. Every common spot and our room was immaculate. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in creating a list of local restaurants that were not "tourist traps." We had excellent meals at both of the recommended ones. I sustained a leg injury on my trip, making it difficult to walk. The desk staff offerred ice for my injury, and supplied a wheelchair to make it easier to get to the lobby for checking out. I have diabetes, so eating sweet treats in the morning is not an option. It can often be challenging to find healthy food choices on buffets. Their buffet had plenty of protein choices from which to choose. The smoked salmon, turkey and unsugared yogurt helped me stay on track. I highly recommend Hotel Artemide. They take so many extra steps to be certain that each guest is happy and feels welcome!

If you were ever contemplating staying at any hotel in the heart of Rome (Roma), Hotel Artemide is the perfect place for you! I took my wife to Rome for her birthday and picked the honeymoon package at this hotel; it was phenomenal! They kept in touch from the moment I made my reservation, and on the day of our arrival, not having being to Rome before, I asked for an airport pickup and they made it happen in a stressless manner. Then from the moment we arrived at the hotel, both Ivan “The Terrible” (as he’s jokingly called because he looks like the historical figure but he’s the sweetest guy ever) and Valentina received us very warmly. Our stay there was memorable, the entire staff were very friendly and helpful, and the kitchen staff made a special fruit tart for my wife on her birthday at a very short notice (with a lit candle and all). The Artemis Spa was also very relaxing and the masseuses were excellent. Finally, the rooftop Ambrosia restaurant truly lived up to its reputation. The host was awesome and the waters very knowledgeable and professional. All in all, it was a magical experience, thanks to Hotel Artemide and their staff. I know I scored some major Brownie Points on this one.

The staff working in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. I didn't really find other members of staff that friendly, especially the reception staff. I was staying on the fifth floor and there was a lot of noise like glass bottles being loaded into a skip, this happened each morning between 4am -5am. On check out i mentioned it and was told it may of came from another room? Odd, the noise was definitely coming from outside my room. Wouldn't stay in this hotel again. Plenty others to chose from. Wasn't overly impressed.

Hotel Artemide exceeded our expectations for our 30th Anniversary. Ivan made our 4 days so memorable. Prior to our arrival, Ivan helped us plan/book transportation, tours and he was spot on with every restaurant recommendation. When we arrived we received a room upgrade and a surprise bottle of wine for our special occasion. Every member of staff was just lovely! The breakfast buffet was an incredible feast and the rooftop bar was a great way to end the day. The location is a short walk or Uber to any hot spot you want to see in Rome. Thank you for making this once in a lifetime trip so amazing!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday in Rome a few days ago and stayed at this wonderful hotel. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are fab and breakfast was spectacular. We usually like to wander around and find different places for breakfast, but we had one look at what was on offer and knew we'd be coming back throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, making our stay even more special. We would (and already have) recommend Hotel Artemides to anyone planning to visit Rome.

Hotel Artemide is located a short walk from Roma Termini. The hotel is immaculate and our room was nicely appointed and quite comfortable. Among the various hotels at which my family has stayed in Rome over the years, this is by far the best, particularly the breakfast and its friendly and accommodating staff. Cons: So many things…they updates the decor and it’s too modern. This is Roma and should be Italian IMO. Room was so small! No soap/shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms. Not enough towels. Just a big disappointment from when I stayed before. This was my favorite hotel in Roma but now I will find another. Prior to this night, I stayed in a 5 star hotel for almost the same price. But they were booked for the final night of our trip. Not worth the money.

Cons: Minor quibble - there were a couple of noise events (alarms and tapping in the walls) that we never got answers about what happened from the staff.

Cleanliness, customer service as well as modern amenities, is what I look for in a hotel.The customer service provided, was wonderful. When booking, I recommend selecting the option for breakfast included. The breakfast buffet had sweet and savory options as well as made to order omelettes. The fresh fruit, cheese and pastry platters were fantastic! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The rooftop restaurant was also fantastic. The food and drinks were top-notch and the view was pretty. The head bartender was great and the presentation of food and drinks made you feel special. The location is “OK”, but the front desk can get you a cab if you don’t feel like walking to the popular attractions. The concierge desk can providegreat restaurant recommendations that were in walking distance.

We arrived midday and yes our room was ready upon arrival so we checked in and dropped our things at the room before heading out to explore. We had stayed at two of Hotel Artemide’s sister hotels in other parts of Italy so we received an extra 10% off at each of the three hotels, nice benefit there for sure. Each of the sister hotels also have the same vibe and we loved the customer service. Breakfast was included with our rate at Hotel Artemide and the breakfast was as close to an Israeli breakfast as we have ever experienced. Smoked Salmon, salads, breads, pastries, and much much more! Also included was a free glass of prosecco and we enjoyed our prosecco at the rooftop bar with a nice complimentary aperitivo. And there’s more! In room snack and soft drinks are refilled daily gratis and we even had a beer and single serving of prosecco included in the room as well. The electrical sockets in the room are Type L, please make sure if you are traveling internationally you do bring converters. Hotel Artemide was a great choice in Rome and we’d gladly stay again!

As this was our first time in Rome we wanted a hotel that was located in the heart of it all so that we could easily walk to many of the main attractions such as the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Roman Forum/Colosseum. Hotel Artemide was definitely the best pick. From the moment we got off of our overnight flight and was met by the hotel driver, we knew we had made a great choice. Once at the hotel the staff was attentive to our every need; they were incredible. We had a Junior Suite with a balcony; the room was spacious and spotless. The complimentary breakfast was brilliant with so many choices available. And the mini bar was also complimentary which is something you do not typically see and was re-stocked daily. The rooftop bar was a great spot for cocktails! The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants every where you turn, on one cute cobblestone street after another. We always felt safe no matter what time of the day. If you are looking for a hotel in a great location to be able to walk everywhere and for attentive service, this is the place for you. I liked almost everything but then I am picky. It was a fabulous place to stay and I plan to return when I take my Sicily trip. The hotel was top notch and the staff was very attentive, polite, and responsive. I usually scrutinize but there really wasn't anything to scrutinize about. It was a pleasant stay and would go back in a heartbeat. With that said, the room was well decorated and we took right to it. Everything was fixed for comfort and they even had complimentary drinks in the refrigerator and not just water. The bathroom? Oh, the bathroom was awesome with clean towels, clean marble floors, and the shower was so awesome that I didn't want to get out of it. Shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, and hand soap were all supplied. I love a clean bathroom and this didn't disappoint. The staff - they were second to none by being very polite, attentive, and entertaining at times. Brought me a bucket of ice every night. Carried the luggage upstairs, hailed a cab when we needed it, and gave us a complimentary drink for the roof top restaurant. You will feel right at home and sometimes pampered.
Cons: It's not that I didn't like it but a couple of things that were unusual and while I understand the reasoning, I thought it was a little overkill. You had to place your hotel card in a slot by the door for the lights to work in the bathroom. I get why they want you to do that, because you'll always know where your card is, right in the reader. However, if the person who owns the card in the slot is leaving and takes their card with them, then a second person would have to get theirs out to replace the card that was currently in there. Kind of annoying but I do understand the reasoning behind it. The beds? Single beds are small and when I looked at them I said to myself "you got to be kidding?" I sleep on a queen size however, going to a single wasn't really a big challenge and the bed was comfortable and made up everyday. The room service maid. New fresh towels everyday, all soaps replaced everyday. Bathroom cleaned and beds made up. It's hard to find anything wrong because they were such pleasant people and a pleasant atmosphere that complaining wouldn't do them justice. Love the place, will go back.

We stayed in this great hotel for three nights and were upgraded to a junior suite. The very comfortable room was large with a seating area. The ensuite bathroom was spacious and had a large shower and plenty of hot water. The breakfast buffet served in the basement was generous and the service was great and very friendly. Located on the Via Nazionale, it was surrounded by some good shops and a few good restaurants that were recommended by Reception. On our final night, we dined on the hotel rooftop in the Ambrosia Restaurant, which was excellent. On each of our previous visits to Rome, we have usually chosen to stay near the Termini Station away from the ever-growing crowds that surround the main tourist sites and fortunately, this hotel was situated close to the Piazza della Republica and in our preferred location. However, it was well within walking distance to all the attractions and main shopping streets that we wanted to visit. Most notably, Reception arranged a golf cart experience for us that was without doubt some of the best money that we've ever spent. We'll definitely come back here on our 17th visit to Rome!

This hotel was Excellent!! We stayed here in a deluxe double for three days. The hotel was beautiful and the room was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was spectacular. The best part was the location! We could walk to all the main attractions in 10 - 20 minutes. . Since the Vatican was a 40 minute walk we took a cab instead. There is a cab stand down the block - turn right as you exit the hotel, go to end of block and on the left is the taxi stand. Highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Rome! If you want to eat dinner at the hotel's restaurant - book in advance. We did not and found that it was filled for weeks!

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The mattress was extremely comfortable and we slept very well there. The hotel was always clean, and we appreciated the amenities. Staff greeted us and welcomed any questions we had. We loved having our first honeymoon stop at Hotel Artemide and would highly recommend! They treated us to honeymoon wine and drinks at the restaurant. They re-stocked our mini fridge daily (which was included with the stay) and gave us drink tickets for the beautiful rooftop restaurant. We appreciated all they did!

First, this is a beautiful hotel, centrally located. We had trouble with connecting flights and had to reach out several times to the hotel, as the flights were changed more than once. However, the hotel staff were great at helping me and arranging for a driver to pick us up from the airport, despite the numerous changes made throughout the weekend. What a relief they were. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the food was excellent with room service, and the breakfast buffet was a feast! We had a short stay because of flight delays, but we will be back next year and will stay at this excellent hotel again!

My husband and I had a very nice stay at Hotel Artemide during our anniversary trip in early August. The staff was very friendly, the location was ideal for walking to and from the main attractions, and the room was a nice size for Europe. We had one issue with the tub and it was handled promptly by management. As shared by many other guests, the rooftop welcome drink, refilled water/snacks, and the elaborate breakfast were truly the highlight of our time there. If we go back, we will probably upgrade to a room with a view. Overall, definitely a well kept hotel.

We stayed in a suite on the fourth floor with balcony and views over the main road. We were thrilled with our room. Our grandchildren slept in one part of the room in single made up beds and my husband and I slept on the other side which was partitioned off in a huge double bed. The air conditioning was very effective and enabled us to sleep really well. The noise from the street below did not bother us - in fact I enjoyed looking out and seeing what was going on. The inclusive mini bar and snacks were great and we all enjoyed the biscuits, nuts, soft drinks and water and beer. We also received a bottle of wine which we did not drink. A lovely touch. The consumed items were replenished daily. We did not use the gym, but you just request the key from reception and use it when you want. The hotel called us a taxi which was very helpful. The breakfast, as everyone on here mentions was absolutely gorgeous. There was salmon, cakes galore lots of cheeses and hot items. It was probably one of the nicest breakfast I have ever had the pleasure of eating my grandchildren had hot chocolate in little jugs which they thoroughly enjoyed. We did not try the restaurant upstairs, we did go for a drink but we’re not able to sit so we had a view, so decided not to stay. I think these may be reserved for people who have a meal. The hotel is in a great location, on the main street, very close to the shops and within easy walking distance of the Colosseum, the bus station and we felt completely safe. We did not try the spa, which would’ve been nice but our grandchildren were too young. This is not a cheap hotel and feel that perhaps access to the spa should have been included with maybe the suite on a limited basis as we have experienced our other hotels. Would we return to this hotel,, I think we would the inclusive mini bar and the wonderful breakfast, the great location is a great draw.

My stay at Hotel Artemide was lovely. We arrived ahead of the check in times but was able to check in earlier as our rooms were ready. On arrival, we were greeted but some warm smiles of the concierge team - they were great! The receptionist, Valentina (hope I got the name right), was fantastic (!!!!), I dealt with her mostly throughout my stay. She's definitely an asset to the Artemide. The hotel location is great (and right next to a gelato shop which I frequented every day!) We had light lunch in the restaurant and the tomato spaghetti was the best I've ever had, simply tasty. Breakfast was outstanding, probably one of the best hotel breakfast spread I have seen. The room quality of the room was good and the complimentary mini bar was very well received. I had a couple issues with my room, however, as the Hotel tried to resolve during my stay, I do not have any negative feedback to address. As such, I do recommend this Hotel to anyone and I will certainly consider staying when I visit Rome again.

This hotel is a breath of fresh air in Rome! The check-in was seamless then to my surprise Valentina let us know we had a complimentary upgrade. It was such a nice surprise showing up exhausted after flying all night. The interaction with the bar tender at the rooftop bar (2 free welcome cocktails) and then the maintenance man (to fix a small problem) were just as exceptional! The area is perfected located. You’re away from the noise but still centralized to all of the sites. My only regret is that we literally had less than 24 hours here and in Rome! This city is BEAUTIFUL 🤩! I’ve never seen anything like it.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would gladly return. The breakfast was outstanding. Definitely worth including in your booking. The hotel is located in a convenient area with many dinner options nearby, and there’s even a laundry service shop just behind the building, which was extremely useful. The staff provided friendly and helpful service throughout my stay. I also appreciated the guest lounge, where complimentary tea was available, and printing and copying services were free of charge. The shower had great water pressure, and another thoughtful touch was the free selection of drinks in the room’s minibar, including beer, wine, and juice. That said, there were a few downsides. The room did not have a coffee machine, which would have been appreciated. The elevators were limited in number and quite slow, so I often resorted to using the stairs. The triple room felt a bit tight in terms of space. Lastly, I asked the staff to help make a dinner reservation. They promised to follow up with a call, but unfortunately, I never received one. Even with these minor drawbacks, I was very satisfied with my stay. The positives clearly outweighed the negatives, and I would recommend this hotel to others.

Awesome birthday visit to Hotel Artemide. The management provided a comp bottle of prosecco with glasses and a kind note. It is centrally located and the rooftop has a view of the Vatican. Although on a busy street, the rooms was sound proof. Walk to Trevi Fountain is 15 minutes or less and the Termini (train station) is 10 min. The rooms are cozy, but completely functional. Great visit - can’t wait to return next year.

Everything was perfectly arranged in advance: the private transfer, the room, the perfect relaxation in the wellness center with a couple's treatment, and the romantic dinner at the rooftop bar, followed by a delicious and extensive breakfast every morning. A wonderful evening in the rooftop restaurant with a stunning view, romantic setting, and delicious food will be a memory we will always cherish. We were able to enjoy all of this thanks to the impeccable service and friendliness of every single staff member. We started our trip to Italy at Hotel Artemide and had a wonderful 3 night stay. The hotel is close to the train station, we walked to the hotel with our carry on luggage in under 10 minutes. We arrived a bit before check in time and they had our room ready shortly after we arrived. Our room was big, we loved the complimentary mini bar. The bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet. The only downside to our room was that the window was small and I found the room to be dark, but not a big deal at all. The spa was great after a long day of walking and I highly recommend a visit. We had the BEST breakfast buffet at Hotel Artemide! The food was amazing and the staff were so courteous and friendly. We loved starting our day at the breakfast buffet and enjoyed chatting with other travelers. Overall fantastic stay and will definitely return on my next visit to Rome.

Hotel Artemide is excellent. This is my second time staying here. It’s not a very large hotel, but it’s very well located — within walking distance of Termini Station. The rooms are small, but clean, well-organized, and comfortable. The bathrooms are also very good. Breakfast is outstanding. They also have a lovely rooftop bar with a great view. One great feature of the room is the electric kettle for making tea, and the minibar — which includes beer, soft drinks, juice, water, and some snacks — is completely free and restocked daily. That makes a big difference and is one of the things I really appreciate about this hotel. The only minor downside — and it doesn’t affect my overall impression at all — is that the pillows are quite firm. But that wouldn’t stop me from returning, because I truly enjoy this hotel. We loved our stay in this hotel. The room was very clean and quiet. We were on the first floor with a nice view of the street. Breakfast was phenomenal. I wish I had taken pictures. The staff is nice and helpful. The only complaint is the restroom. When we flushed the toilet, water overflowed on the toilet seat, but this hotel is not the only place in Italy I saw this happen. Also, there were no seat covers, so we had to sanitize the seat everytime we had to use the toilet. Again, there were no seat covers anywhere we visited in Italy. The location is good. There are at least two good-sized supermarkets across the street. Also, it is walking distance from the train station, but to see other attractions, you have to either take a taxi or a bus. White taxis are not expensive. Overall, prices in Rome were much more moderate than the other cities we visited and the people were nicer.

Had an incredible stay here from the moment we arrived, we were pampered and taken cared of in every possible way — thoughtful touches, stunning and comfortable room interiors, and the kindest hospitality, plus welcome drinks, sumptous breakfast buffet, and including a minibar stocked with just about everything we needed - bottles of Prosecco, juices, sparkling drinks, water, coffee, tea, and snacks! What a treat! We also registered for the cooking class at one of their sister Hotels and we absolutely enjoyed it!

Lovely hotel, almost faultless. Super location, easy walking to all the sights. Complimentary water and wine in room. Friendly and helpful staff speaking all languages. Breakfast is a real treat! We had a wonderful stay. My only (really easy fix) criticism. As a woman staying in a room alone - NO INTERNAL DOOR LOCK and no chain or even peephole. Made me very uneasy. When I questioned reception staff, they told me there was a blue light on the outside of the door. So when you are in the room (with your keycard) the light is a warning hotel staff not to enter. Sure enough there is a blue light - which is just an advert that you are in the room - alone! Unfortunately, on day 5 I found a 'universal pink staff door card' had accidentally been left in my room by housekeeping. Could have given me access to any room I liked at night or day (obviously I returned it to reception) In order to feel safe at night, I had to buy a door wedge. Artemide Hotel: I did make this request at checkout. Please pop to your local hardware store and buy bolts for your doors to make your rooms safe at night.

We recently stayed at Hotel Artemide following a cruise. This was a great way to spend our last night in Rome. The hotel is beautiful, clean and welcoming. All of the staff were very accommodating. We arrived early, so they offered to hold our bags while we explored the city. There is a spa on property, but book ahead if you want to enjoy a treatment. The rooftop bar was a great place to unwind after our adventures and then we enjoyed dinner overlooking the city. The morning highlight was definitely the amazing breakfast spread, I wish I could have stayed longer!

The Artemede hotel is an experience beyond any hotel. This made our Rome experience so much sweet during this hot time of the year. The all inclusive mini bar restocked daily, amazing bteakfast gave us the energy for a great start of the day. The best cappucinno made by Luana can not be beat. We started our Italy trip from here and we could never find a place that made the cappacinno any better than Luana. Location was great, front desk staff was wondetful. Ordered taxis that were there in no time. Close to all attractions. We chose taxi to go there fresh withour perspiring and chose to walk back easily. Family all agree, this place made our Rome experience wonderful and cant think of any other place to stay in Rome.

Stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon. A great welcome, and the staff in general is amazing! We had room 115, which had a terrace. The room itself was nice, with a comfortable bed, but it was really dark. Due to the size of the room, one single window/door doesn’t let enough light in. In addition when someone in the floors above us were showering or using the toilet we heard it through the ventilation. Not a huge issue, but shouldn’t be like it. Great with free minibar. Cleaning could’ve be improved, especially on the bathroom.

It offers a swimming pool, patio, spa, an elegant rooftop restaurant, bar/lounge, fitness center with a gymnasium, sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath, business center, dry cleaning, laundry service, concierge, 24-hour front desk, multi-lingual staff, free high speed internet and wi-fi and room service. We booked a basic double room with a Queen-sized bed, desk, private bathroom with shower, mini-bar, flat screen TV, telephone, coffee/tea maker and air conditioning. Did I mention a breakfast buffet? As in Paris, breakfast in Rome isn't much more than a cup of cappuccino and a cornetto or Italian croissant. This hotel is a very lovely place to stay. It is very well located near most of the main attractions . It is beautifully fitted out with lots of marble , chrome and lovely furnishings . Cool chic. Rooms a bit small but attractive and comfortable , and bathrooms are very lovely . The breakfast was superb, with a huge selection of foods in a very attractive dining room. Staff in the breakfast area (and also cleaning staff ) are most friendly and welcoming , something that didn’t quite filter out to the otherwise efficient and competent reception area. They are very busy, to be fair . Beautiful waiting area for those waiting to check in or leaving might be better air conditioned and cold water should be supplied there as well as coffee. Just a suggestion. I was surprised when settling my bill that the POS machine offered me the option of paying a gratuity . Hard to say no with staff watching . But I’ve been tipping people all the way already guys ! Otherwise , very impressive hotel, I would definitely return should I re-visit Rome.

Easily one of the best hotels to stay if you find yourself in Rome. It’s not too far from the sights, and it sits on a Main Street. The staff is very attentive and caring and puts forth a conscious effort to ensure your stay is what you intend. The shower is amazing, the beds are incredible, and the breakfast is worth every penny. I requested a late checkout, and they were able to squeeze in what they could for me on a very busy day, so I’m grateful.

The hotel is amazing! All of the staff, especially the concierge, go above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable! Great amenities, great food and an outstanding rooftop bar - Ambrosia!! The rooftop bartender, Maurizio Zuddio, is the absolute best! Tons of fun, so excited about his concoctions, and always eager to impress with his out of this world cocktails! I'm a whisky fanatic and this was the first time I've had a Godfather - traditionally, Scotch and Amaretto. Maurizio makes it with Bourbon - it was one of the best drinks I've had in my life! The second time I got it (couldn't resist) Maurizio gave us his "special" version and smoked it for us - in a box. It made this perfect drink EVEN BETTER! The next night - no reason to go to any other bar - we tried two of his specials - Ambrosia and Efesto: I've had nothing like them before! I loved every sip! Both were delicious and unique. Maurizio is an outstanding host and an exceptional bartender! If you are ever in Rome, check out the Hotel Artemide, go to the Ambrosia rooftop bar, and try any of Maurizio's special concoctions. You can't go wrong! Molto Bene!

We visited with our teenager in June. The hotel is nicely located with nice facilities. It has a nice rooftop with a bar and restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding. The food and beverage staff are great and the gentleman that managed the upstairs facility and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The spa was nice with a good staff. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the housekeeping did a great job. The front desk can be hit or miss, but overall the staff were excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, except in the morning. There was construction noise every morning that woke us up. When I inquired about what was being constructed at the front desk, the person said there was no construction. So I guess I imagined the noise and scaffolding outside the window and the workers on the roof. Besides that one issue which would hopefully be temporary, I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

The rooftop bar and restaurant were a great bonus, offering fresh air and nice views—perfect for unwinding in the evening. The rooms were a comfortable size for Rome, and the beds were great for getting good rest after full days of exploring. The location couldn’t have been better—many top sights were within walking distance, and it was easy to grab an Uber for anything further out. But the real highlight of our stay? The breakfast! It was absolutely immaculate—an impressive spread of fresh, high-quality options that made every morning feel like a treat. We looked forward to it every day. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay prior to our cruise. With Rome at 100 degrees every day, the rooms had powerful AC and were the perfect place to rest and get out of the heat. The rooms were very clean with robes and slippers provided. We had 2 rooms for our family of 5 - a triple and double. The hotel accommodated our request to have them near one another and we were right across the hall from our teenagers. The staff were so pleasant and helpful especially the team at breakfast. They work so hard and always laughing and smiling. The buffet was delicious and more than anyone could ask for. We loved the welcome drink gesture but did not enjoy the 7th floor rooftop bar and restaurant due to the overwhelming heat. My only negative comment would be the construction from 8-5 outside of our room. With jet lag from California, the clanging of metal came quite early. It would’ve been nice for the hotel to notify us in advance. It even went on during Saturday after we thought we would get a break during the weekend. At least, it wasn’t heavy construction. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back!

They are always happy to give you a recommendation on a restaurant or tour. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is amazing!! The location is great on Via Nazionale, pretty much within walking distance to most all attractions. We will stay here again in 2027 for sure.

Our room was spotless and well-appointed, and the hotel felt welcoming and well cared for throughout. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant and bar—great food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere after a day exploring Rome. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to try the spa, but it looked beautiful and will definitely be on our list for next time. A special thank you to Ivan at the front desk, whose warm, attentive service made our stay even better.
