Cons: A huge disappointment! The recommendations and high ratings this hotel has received are completely irrelevant. Our apartments are located far from the actual hotel — about 200 meters away — in a separate building with only three units, and none of the hotel’s facilities are within easy reach. The apartments themselves are like basic Airbnb apartments: simple, minimal, low-quality furniture and a cold, uninspiring design — if anyone actually designed them at all. There isn’t even a single picture on the walls. Definitely not recommended!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was fantastic, rooms nice, staff all friendly and helpful and the rooftop pool and bar area was amazing and very much needed in the summer heat.

Cons: Being incredibly picky here but we had a late flight home and as the hotel is incredibly popular we could not arrange a late check out. A shower room would have been ideal to freshen up but it wasn't the end of the world and we made use of the pool showers for a quick freshen.

Roof top pool and bar were a godsend in the August heat after a morning and early afternoon sight seeing. Sunbeds can be hard to come by but there are always people arriving and leaving so not too bad. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location was great, no more than 10min walk anywhere. Staff were friendly, obliging and helpful when called upon.

Cons: Nothing it was great. I would just mention that the pool area is quite hard to get a bed and at times we had to sit in bar area and wait but eventually people do leave so you can get a bed…. There are some beds and tables and umbrellas more importantly around the sides as well so they does help for people who don’t mind not being right beside the pool and just want to sunbathe. However this is only minor and wouldn’t put me off staying there again.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! We love this hotel. The hotel offered convenient parking – they even parked the car for me, which was a great bonus. The rooftop pool was a wonderful addition on a sunny day with temperatures reaching 41 degrees. The hotel personnel were so attentive and helpful that it could not have been better. And of course, the location was great!

Sehr schönes, sauberes Hotel mit einer guten Lage in der Altstadt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal an der Rezeption. Vorallem Raquel, die super freundlich war. Außerdem haben wir vom Hotel eine Flasche Sekt auf Eis aufs Zimmer zur Begrüßung bekommen, was wir eine sehr schöne Geste fanden.

A localização não poderia ser melhor. Todas as principais atrações há não mais que quinze minutos de caminhada. Como eu e o marido gostamos de fazer tudo a pé, era excepcional. O atendimento dos funcionários eh bastante gentil e simpático, de recepção a limpeza. Logo na chegada já entregam um mapa e ensinaramm sobre como chegar aos pontos mais procurados. E ainda ganhamos uma Cava de agradecimento pela estadia, que bebemos no rooftop. Existe aqui na avaliação geral uma pergunta especifica sobre o banheiro e por isso vou comentar o que estranhamos, mas não se trata nem de longe de uma queixa, por isso não vou colocar que "não gostei". As portas de banheiro desse e de outros hotéis não trancavam por dentro (ou não conseguimos achar como fazer). E nesse especificamente não tinha Box, então banho ( delicioso por sinal, uma ducha e tanto) era sinal de precisar dar uma secada no chão depois. O barulho era compensado com janelas antiruído muito eficientes, ar condicionado ótimo, coisa de primeira necessidade na cidade que chegou a 42 graus em setembro.

From time of arrival the staff were absolutely lovely .. They always greeted us coming and going from the hotel …The roof top bar is amazing a must see with excellent views and a great size swimming pool ..It was beautifully presented inside and out the building … it was very clean and we’d like to thank the lovely ladies who cleaned up the wine bottle in our room which popped open everywhere … They just did what they had to do without any hesitation… the location was 10/10 as it was walking distance to everything .Its definitely a hotel we’d highly recommend if your going to stay in Seville..Many many thanks to you and all your team x

Cons: They didn’t clean the room on the saturday between 9.30am and 3pm when were out or after 5pm. We had the sign on the door. Therefore we had to rely on one tiny soap and 1 small shampoo bottle for 2 of us. I also find slightly awkward to have 1 soap, and mini samples of shampoo and 1 body lotion for 2 people in the room at our arrival. No conditioner. I would expect more from a 4star hotel.

We’d stayed here before and chose to again on our visit back to Seville and are really glad we did! The location is excellent, the reception staff are so polite and helpful - they booked a taxi to the airport for us and answered our questions about what else to see outside of the main sites. The room is big and spacious with good storage space and a fridge you can use. Great water pressure in the shower too. It’s an excellent location for exploring Seville and a great place to come back to during the day for a rest. The rooftop bar is a plus and there’s always seats available. Also close to some lovely restaurants for the evening too.

We didn’t get breakfast for 19,00 per person but on the street Cafe Verde for 13,00 coffee and and bread con tomate for 2 persons . Very luxury hotel with marble floors and very good airconditioning. Bath room spotless clean and very nice towels .

Cons: There was no view from the window , but to expected in the middle of the city , we looked at 2 white walls , I’m sure there are better views rooms. Very busy at the small swimming pool , people holding the seat with towels while they weren’t there . Piña colada 12,00 euro and almost no alcohol in it and way so sweet for a Piña colada.

Goed hotel met fijn personeel op een zeer goede locatie (op loopafstand van het centrum en de bezienswaardigheden). Het zwembad op het dak is heerlijk. Het eten en drinken is goed en betaalbaar. We kregen aan het einde van de dag zelfs nog een fles champagne in onze kamer cadeau. Het bed en de kamer zijn erg goed. Zeker een aanrader!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fernando III, which exceeded our expectations. Although the hotel is slightly dated, it has clearly been very well maintained and still retains a sense of luxury and elegance. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Seville. The breakfast was outstanding, with a very high standard and a great choice of food. The highlight of the hotel for us was definitely the rooftop and swimming pool. The rooftop has lovely views and is a wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We were fortunate to be given a room (405) on the 4th floor, on the same floor as the rooftop, so we had very easy access to the rooftop and pool. This made our stay much more relaxing than we had expected. I would also like to give a special thank you to Criscia (or Cricio, sorry I could not remember your name accurately) at reception, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, and her warm and friendly service really added to our experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return to Hotel Fernando III.

Friendly reception staff that always greeted us on our way in and out of the hotel. A fantastic location. A good pool that was very welcome in 38oc+. No matter what time of the day we went to the pool we were always able to get a sunbed. A couple of welcome treats during our stay, a bottle of bubbly and a free drink. It's those little things that make a difference. If we come back to Sevilla, we would definitely stay here. A mini fridge was great for keeping water cool and coffee making facilities were welcome in the morning. Toiletries throughout out stay which were lovely. A great stay!

Cons: The shower was over the bath and there wasn't any chairs on the balcony to sit out and enjoy the sun.

The hotel is situated in a great location where every attraction was easy to walk to. Rooms were very clean and the hotel staff are very attentive. On one of our last few days we received a bottle from the hotel as a thank you for staying with them, which we appreciated. Though the pool is on the smaller side, it was very clean and there were always a space to lay on the deck chairs provided. The drinks at the bar were at a reasonable price too.

We stayed at the Fernando in July, and I can honestly say its amazing we stayed 6 nights in a superior room balcony at the back of the hotel fab immaculate clean room with a separate lounge area, huge flat screen tv air con, we had the breakfast package and the breakfasts was incredible. the staff, reception, too cleaners are just amazing - a credit The rooftop pool was a godsend in the July heat, but you need to get up there around 2/3pm as the beds quickly fill up, the rooftop bar was also fantastic, and they have huge fans to help you cool down whilst sipping on a nice beer-Sangria. The hotel is in the best location, 5/10 min walk to the cathedral, plaza espana, maria Louisa , and numerous great tapas bars, restaurants, and of course the Alcázar To the right as you come out of reception, in the other location further up you have Alfalfa area, the town and Setas, which was amazing, A fantastic walkable city you really don't need to get any transport. Airport transfer was 28£ with booking.com from Seville airport to the hotel, , and going back too the airport, the hotel kindly booked me a taxi for our return flight was £30 The heat was of course very hot, but its so doable, as there is air con everywhere, and the restaurant's/tapas bars spray cool mist on you dining on the terrace, and too be honest the heat was so much more bearable than the UK heatwave we are currently having, the rooftop pool also helped . I'm planning a return trip next July, and will definitely be booking the Fernando again Also a huge thank you for the bottle of Cava in my room as a thanks for staying.. lovely touch and much appreciated x This is our 2nd visit too Seville, and like I said, not our last. Location was perfect. 10 mins walk to all major sites. Rooms were larger than we expected with a huge bed and tv screen. There was also a little balcony. We arrived at 1.30pm and were able to check in early which was great. The pool was nice to go back to after a day in the Seville heat. We did not have the breakfast but went over the road to a cafe which was good value.

Posizione perfetta, centralissima. Struttura con fascino di altri tempi, camera confortevole e piscina con vista spettacolare su Siviglia e un ottimo bar con prezzi moderati, che ci siamo goduti ampiamente. Una sera, al nostro rientro, abbiamo trovato un inaspettato e graditissimo regalo: un secchiello con spumante brut offerto dalla direzione! Camera minimal ma gradevole.

Cons: In bagno mancavano tanti punti di appoggio, per cui pure ci sarebbe stato lo spazio: per esempio un ripiano sotto il lavandino, per evitare di poggiare i beauty case a terra! Bagnoschiuma etc sono offerti sotto forma di mini size, anziché di dispenser grandi, cosa che risulta molto scomoda da utilizzare e poco ecologica. La gestione dei teli da bagno in piscina è inutilmente complicata: ho dovuto a lungo giustificarmi per aver dimenticato il vecchio telo in camera, cosa che non mi sembrava così grave. Per questi motivi, non possiamo attribuire un 10 come valutazione, che pure meriterebbe per altri aspetti.

Our beds were extra sized and good for relaxing after long walks, shower and body cosmetics were 10+. As a hotel gesture, we got a bottle of wine. Thank you very much, it was special. Staff were so pleasant but also very professional. I would like to come again for sure.

Just back from four nights at the Hotel Fernando III and have loved every minute of it. The hotel is beautifully presented and the staff are very welcoming. The highlights given the very high temperatures were the aircon in the room, and the rooftop pool and terrace bar. The aircon worked a treat and made for a comfortable nights sleep. The hotel pool and terrace bar exceeded expectation, and although the pool was busy at times there was a steady rotation of guests throughout the day that meant sunbeds were available more often than not. The terrace bar had great staff, well priced and good variety. The breakfast was good, lots of choice and a great setup for a stroll round the beautiful city. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and only wish we’d stayed a couple of nights longer.

The hotel is well located and we loved the clean room, the large comfortable bed and that there were both a kettle and a (real) coffee machine. The fridge is small but kept our drinks cold (colder than many fridges we know in other hotels). The A/C is very strong but can be turned down in the room, which is a good thing since not everyone likes strong A/C. The rooftop pool with great views was certainly a plus and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was not included for us, but we paid for the first two mornings, and it was quite good, with lots of choice and fresh fruits.

Cons: For a 4 stars hotel, there should be bathrobes and slippers, especially since the floors are quite cold. It would also be more environmental friendly if there were large refillable bottles of shampoo and shower gel, instead of giving the guests small bottles. The windows are soundproof but not the walls which are rather thin: we were woken up several times by the couple next door who were clearly very much in love with each other… :)

The pool area. The staff were lovely. The staff at breakfast were also lovely and the choice was great. Especially because we had 2 teenage girls with us! The bar and pool area was busy but the staff helped us to look out for available loungers. They were so helpful.

The front-of-house staff were exceptional! As soon as we exited the Uber outside the hotel, they were on hand to assist with the off loading & carrying our luggage. Further information/insights provided for the area I.e bars, restaurants etc. Pity we didn’t use the rooftop poll and terrace, it looked great.

The hotel is situated very close to most of the main sites in Seville, easily walkable. The hotel was clean and modern. The reception staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The beds were really comfortable and the air con was a godsend. The shower was large and water pressure excellent. Fresh water bottles were placed in the fridge daily.

Cons: The rooftop bar staff were far from friendly actually bordering on being rude. Everything seemed to be an effort and you were easily ignored. On the first night we were told that food was available until midnight and we went to order at 11.15 and were told we were too late. Another occasion I was severely reprimanded for taking a glass to the pool rather than a plastic glass. The pool and sunloungers were extremely busy and people left towels on them - so you need to arrive early to grab a lounger.

Not: otelden havaalanına giderken taksi çağırmalarını istemiştik. Taksicinin bizden normalden fazla ücret aldığını düşünüyorum. Eğer hep aynı yerden çağırıyorlarsa buna dikkat etmelerini öneririm ! It was in the old Jewish quarter of Seville and 15-20 min from many things. The rooftop pool and restaurant were nice as was the buffet breakfast.

Cons: I had to ask for slippers as the floors were cold as was the room. It was normal hotel room with no frills and I got locked in the elevator. They had to open it with a key to get me out. The property wanted me to pay everything right away. I think it was expensive for the price.

Everything, the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were amazing. The rooftop pool and bar was magical. We were even gifted a bottle of sparkling wine.

Cons: The elevators in the main lobby were slightly temperamental, however it's a nit pick in the grand scheme of things. I would still rate the hotel a perfect 10

La amabilidad del personal de recepción, super atentos. La ubicación es excelente, a un paso de la Giralda, y la habitación enorme, muy nueva y cómoda. Tuvimos hasta un regalo de bienvenida, un detallazo! Lo recomiendo 100%.

Best staff I have ever met at a hotel. They were so hospitable and helpful for all my needs. The breakfast spread is fantastic-- also the best I've experienced at a hotel. I truly felt at home and will definitely return at some point.

위치 좋고 조식 좋고 직원분들도 친절한 편이에요^^~ 렌트카 발레주차 서비스까지 최고입니다 2층이어서 속상한것도 잠시 나중에는 테라스가 젤 넓고 심지어 일광욕도 가능해서 좋았습니다. 어차피 루프탑 있으니 넓은 테라스가 있는 2층 좋은 것 같아요^^

In the old town…walking distance to all the sights. Wonderful pool on the 100 degree day. Great bar upstairs. Wonderful breakfast

We stayed 2 nights for our 30 Wedding Anniversary and our kids Joined us and It was out of this world Manuel and his Team treated us like VIP guests and we had complimentary Champagne when we arrived they payed attention to every little detail to make our stay memorable everyone was polite, friendly ,Professional and courteous We will be back for sure the rooms ,washrooms and hallways were spotless . Excellent location - walking distance to major sights. Outstanding range of options for breakfast, valet parking, very friendly staff.

Cons: Some confusion re address for GPS services - without the assistance of staff we would still be driving around! Staff member said it’s common so perhaps a note to car drivers suggesting options might be helpful.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring all the best parts of Seville- everything is within easy walking distance and it’s the nicest part of Seville being near the cathedral. And the bars and cafes outside the hotel were really nice and relaxing with seating outside. The pool area was a real highlight- it’s much larger than it looks in the photos, so there was never any problem finding a sunbed. The pool itself is lovely with beautiful views, and it was a great place to relax. We were also pleasantly surprised when the staff left us a bottle of sparkling wine with a really thoughtful note- such a nice personal touch! The cocktails at the hotel bar are excellent, well-made, and very reasonably priced- Pina coladas were excellent As someone who enjoys nice hotels, this one far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it!”
