The location is very nice

Cons: Bathrooms are outdated and in old and bad condition. Old TVs in the rooms and few channels. Breakfast was average. The quality of towels at the beach and also in the room is very average. L’ambiance générale était correcte, la chambre aussi, mais uniquement si l’on oublie volontairement le rapport qualité-prix — ce qui est difficile quand on parle de 600 € pour une nuit. Si on fait abstraction du prix, on pourrait dire que c’est un hôtel 3 étoiles de niveau moyen.

Cons: Honnêtement, c’est l’un des pires rapports qualité-prix que j’aie jamais vus. J’ai payé 600 € pour une seule nuit dans un soi-disant hôtel 5 étoiles, mais ce que j’ai eu ne vaudrait même pas un 3 étoiles. Rien que la chambre était une honte : le ventilateur de plafond était mal fixé et donnait l’impression qu’il allait se détacher à chaque rotation, nous empêchant de dormir sereinement. La douche était catastrophique : l’eau ne s’écoulait pas et formait de grosses flaques d’eau sale. Il manquait des serviettes et plusieurs équipements de base. L’emplacement de la chambre semblait complètement laissé à l’abandon, sans aucun nettoyage visible. L’ascenseur, vétuste et hors d’âge, donnait l’impression de remonter au Moyen âge. Le service client est inexistant : impossible de communiquer correctement, certains employés ne parlent même pas français. À mon arrivée, malgré une chambre prête, j’ai été forcé d’attendre plus de 30 minutes après un long voyage, sans raison valable. Et je le répète : 600 € pour une nuit pour ça, c’est inacceptable. Pas d’accès privé à la plage comme on pourrait l’attendre d’un vrai hôtel de luxe : à la place, des gardiens te demandent ton identité toutes les deux minutes, alors qu’ils savent pertinemment que tu es client. La piscine est… chaude ! Pour un 5 étoiles, c’est une absurdité. Cerise sur le gâteau : 100 dirhams pour une simple bouteille de Red Bull. Le restaurant est d’une qualité médiocre, le petit déjeuner encore pire : jus d’orange industriels bas de gamme (même pas de bons jus industriels), nourriture insuffisante, œufs immangeables. En résumé, cet hôtel est une véritable arnaque pour le prix payé. 600 € pour une nuit, et aucune prestation digne d’un 5 étoiles

Cons: À 4500 dhs la nuit soit environ 450 euro nous avons une salle chambre sale, de la moisissure visible sur les fauteuils, de la poussière, des insectes (j’épargne les détails) Bien évidement nous avons attendu environ 35 min afin d’avoir nos bagages dans la chambre. Nous avons eu droit à une baie vitrée qui ne se ferme pas sachant qu’on était en rez de chaussée c’est à dire que n’importe qui de mal attentionné pouvez rentrer dans notre chambre. La nourriture est infecte pour des prix hallucinant. Même en ayant pris des produits simple ils ont réussi à les rendre très mauvais en goût. Pour bien finir le week-end il y a eu un problème au niveau des cartes pour l’ouvertures des chambres c’est à dire que personne ne pouvait rentrer dans sa chambre car le système ne fonctionner pas. Un technicien a réussi à sauter dans notre balcon pour nous ouvrir de l’intérieur.. juste après cette épisode de la musique hyper forte commence à 1h du matin..

The hotel is good in general, located at the first line with its own 'section' on the beach. Rooms are a bit aged but ok, restaurant is good, territory is green. There is a well maintained tennis court -- we played 2 or 3 times with my son. Staff is friendly and helpful, though sometimes slow. For example, the cigarette butt was laying on stairways for almost 24 hours.

Cons: The biggest problem is crazy loud music from the night clubs on the beach. This was unbearable. Even with closed windows we could hardly sleep until 3-4am when clubs are finally closed. We had to check out earlier loosing two payed nights, and move to other place. If you are looking for a night life -- it should not be a problem though.

We went to celebrate my 50th birthday and the hotel helped decorate the room. My husband ordered flowers and cake. They did a great job and charged a low price. Very happy with our stay. The pool and beach were great.

The views and the room were lovely very light airy and clean. I had a Hammam it was incredible. The service and the people were so kind and Couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable.

Cons: The gym is very dated and bad condition and they could add Jacuzzi or steam room to the spa its basic it would really benefit the hotel. Also couldn’t use the indoor pool it’s not heated. The food is quite expensive considering it’s Morocco you can eat in town for a third of the price.

**Objet : Réclamation concernant mon séjour à l’hôtel Marina Smir, chambre 412** Madame, Monsieur, Je me permets de vous écrire pour exprimer mon profond mécontentement suite à mon séjour à l’hôtel Marina Smir la nuit du 7 septembre 2024, que j’ai réservé via votre plateforme. J’avais réservé une chambre DELUXE (n° 412) dans le but de me reposer et de me détendre. Cependant, à mon grand désarroi, ce séjour a été tout sauf reposant. En effet, à mon retour dans la chambre le soir pour dormir, j’ai constaté que celle-ci était située juste à côté d’un local technique ou d’une salle extrêmement bruyante, ce qui rendait le sommeil impossible. J’ai signalé ce problème à la réception à deux reprises, entre 3h00 et 4h00 du matin, mais l’agent présent sur place s’est montré incapable de résoudre la situation, affirmant que seule l’équipe du matin pouvait s’en occuper. Il est inadmissible de rencontrer un tel désagrément lors d’un séjour à l’hôtel, surtout lorsque la raison principale de ma réservation était de me reposer et de me déconnecter du travail. Je n’ai malheureusement pas pu profiter de mon séjour comme prévu et suis extrêmement déçu par cette expérience. Je vous prie de bien vouloir examiner cette situation et de me proposer une solution adéquate. Dans l’attente de votre réponse, je vous remercie par avance de votre attention et de votre compréhension.

Cons: The indoor heated pool was "broken" and we were told by management that they wouldn't heat it anyways as it would be too expensive for them to run. The outdoor pools were too cold to the point were majority of the people staying complained and couldn't swim due to how cold it was. We picked this hotel as we had our 8 month old who loves playing in the water, unfortunately that didn't happen. The breakfast omelette and msmen were great otherwise there was limited choice. Music would be blaring during the night up until 4 in the morning. The AC had a foul stench coming from it- something we did tell management about. There was one complimentary bottle of water on arrival and nothing further. No kettle in the room, no iron. Ultimately in terms of what we paid and the quality of the services provided- extremely poor. I would recommend saving your money and spending it at a slightly nicer hotel, extremely let down and I'm glad I only booked 2 nights.

Cons: La chambre était très sale à notre arrivée. Un vrai choc. La terrasse pleine de sable et de déchets. On a dû contacter la réception pour qu’on nous nettoie la chambre. Chaque jour, il y’a quelque chose qui manque: les serviettes n’étaient pas dans la chambre, le papier toilette pas existant dans les toilettes. Il y’avait des bouchons de bouteilles dans la terrasse du premier jour jusqu’au dernier. On a passé 4 jours avec la musique du lounge qui nous empêchait de dormir. Le bruit était insupportable jusqu’à 4 heures du matin. Le seul point positif: le personnel qui est très aimable et respectueux. Ils doivent revoir leur gestion de la propreté. Pour le prix qu’on a payé, on s’attendait à des prestations meilleures.

Additionally, the hotel was in the midst of renovations, with painting happening everywhere. At one point, we were asked to leave our room so they could paint it. Great view from our room of the sea and moonrise. Lovely big comfortable clean room with high standard of decor and furniture. Great staff who made us welcome, ordered our taxi to the airport. They even set up a table and chairs on the grass so we could sit and have coffee there. Excellent food at breakfast and dinner

Cons: There was work going on in the garden. The door to the shower room in our bedroom didn't fit in the door frame so it couldn't close, and there were a few other maintenance issues. The pool was indoors and a bit shabby. It was locked on one of the three days we went. The beach outside the hotel was not very clean.

We had a very pleasant stay, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I would especially like to mention the employee, Adnan. A slight discomfort occurred when we had a coffee 20 minutes after breakfast, which a staff member charged us for. Cons: Wifi très faible Au debut de notre séjour, le personnel de la réception nous a refusé l’accès malgré que la réservation a été faite sur booking et le montant de la réservation a été réglé. L’agent de la réception nous a dit qu’il n’arrive pas à encaisser la somme via booking. Le problème ne venait pas de nous donc nous avons été choqué quand il nous a demandé de voir avec booking. Après 20 min d’échange avec lui nous avons réussi à lui montrer qu’il se trompait et que le problème et entre lui et booking et nous devions rentrer dans la chambre après 6h de route.

Une honte sachant qu’on est dans ce cas obligés de prendre sa voiture pour dîner même à proximité La plage de l hôtel loin de la plage publique et mal agencée Chambre vieille avec de l humidité et de la rouille..un bon coup de peinture et de rénovation feraient du bien

Cons: Personeel waren niet vriendelijke (zelfs de portier niet) daarnaast de kamer was opgeruimd maar niet schoongemaakt, heel groot verschil tussen opruimen en schoonmaken! De wc stinkt naar plas en de handdoeken bij de kamer, van het zwembad en strand hadden vlekken en zagen vies eruit. Hygiëne van de hotel is onder de 100 als we een cijfer moeten geven.

- Le petit-déjeuner était exceptionnel avec des produits de qualités et beaucoup de choix. - Les horaires d’arrivée et de départ n’étaient pas les mêmes que sur booking, mais le personnel en réception a été très professionnel en prenant cela en compte et notre chambre était prête à temps. Nous avons également pu faire le check-out à l’heure indiquée sur booking. - Le personnel de l’hôtel de manière générale étaient tous très serviable et agréables.

Cons: Pas de plage privée avec accès réservé aux clients de l’hôtel. Notre chambre était en dessous du bar de l’hôtel, en arrivant on nous a prévenu qu’il y aurait de la musique jusqu’à 1:30 - 2h du matin maximum, or cela à duré jusqu’à 3h du matin donc on a eu beaucoup de mal à s’endormir. La piscine est très mal entretenue avec un sol qui se décompose littéralement sous vos pieds.

We had a lovely stay at this wonderful hotel as usual. The service at the reception and the restaurant were both perfect. The room had lovely ocean and pool views. We were greeted with a smile By Zakaria at the front desk, he was extremely nice and helpful with us throughout the whole stay Thanks a lot again to Yassine at the front office also for his assistance.

Überall Farbplatzer, Wasser in der Dusche läuft nicht ab, Duschbatterie ist in die Jahre gekommen und bietet nicht genug Druck (es sei denn man dreht das Heißwasser auf und verbrennt sich dann), der Pool benötigt dringend eine gründliche Reinigung und einen neuen Anstrich.

The staff was very friendly and prompt to rectify a mistake in the reservation. Abdul Latif who I'm assuming was a manager not only rectified the problem but ensured we were satisfied. The sea view was well worth the price paid. The sunrise is one of the best I've seen. The room was very clean and it has a very nice shower and bathtub.

Cons: The restaurant's menu could be better but there are restaurants within walking distance so it wasn't a big deal.

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel heeft een mooie tuin met tennisbaan. Mooi uitzicht vanaf de kamer. Het ontbijt is goed. De bedden zijn ook goed. In potentie een mooi hotel, helaas te veel achterstallig onderhoud voor de wens van een westerse toerist.

Cons: Het hotel wordt niet goed onderhouden. Het zwembad is groen uitgeslagen, de bar bij het zwembad niet open. De fitnessapparaten zijn stuk en het is er vies. Het binnenzwembad is niet toegankelijk. De badkamer is niet wat je verwacht van een goed hotel. Geen aanrader.

the pool area was OK. The location of the Hotel is also very good specially if you come via sea ie the Marina.

Cons: The glass doors which led to the Balcony at ground floor could not be secured. There was a lot of cockroaches and the response was that they came from the grass area. They couldn't even send a cleaner to dispose of them. Twice they forgot to place towels. Their accounting and recollection of what had been spent wasnt properly managed and tried to charge us extra.

Wij zijn niet tevreden over het hotel, bij aankomst hebben wij 3 uur moeten op onze kamer, omdat De kamer niet beschikbaar was. Wij hadden eerder aangegeven een kingsize bed te willen. Dit hebben wij niet gekregen. Wij hebben betaald voor 4 bedden en maar een 2persoonsbed gekregen. Daar hebben wij met z’n vieren op moeten slapen. Daarnaast vonden wij kakkerlakken in de kamer. Er waren te weinig handdoeken voor 4 personen, na het douche of in bad gaan was de badkamer helemaal nat, wat gevaarlijk is met die tegels. Daarnaast vonden wij de service ook slecht, omdat wij meerdere keren om bijv. Extra handdoeken etc moesten vragen. De badkamer was erg smerig (schimmel). Kortom wij hebben €1000 betaald voor 2 nachten wat het totaal niet waard was! Weggegooid geld voor ons. Zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Se paga un precio bastante alto fuera de temporada y no funciona SPA ni piscina exterior ni interior, algo razonable al ser fuera de temporada, pero se debería de avisar previamente, ya que de haberlo sabido no hubiese reservado este hotel. Las habitaciones estaban bien, pero algo sucias, había insectos tipo cucarachas y se escuchaban ruidos por la noche entre paredes, imagino que eran ratas.

Kwam laat aan moest nog wachten zeker een uur voordat het gemaakt was door monteur.De airco werkte niet goed. De kamer stonk en was echt smerig. Er liep ongedierte overal.beddengoed was vies. En nog voor die prijs per nacht. Ontbijt en zwembad was wel oké. Jammer van zo een toplocatie.

When we arrived we had room 19 but a strong and heavy sewer smell made us change room (room 129). The receptionist informed us that there would be loud music until 1 am, maximum 2 am. The music went on until 4-5 am and it was impossible to sleep in the room or other rooms in the hall. We called the reception several times during the night, nothing was done and no compensation offered. On the positive side: - comfortable beds - clean rooms - nice area - tennis facilities

Ruined my honey moon. Condition of the room was terrible, couldn't sleep because of the huge draft and the whistling noise that came with it. The hot water would go after 1 shower then was told had to wait and hour and half before it came back. Finaly convinced them to change my room because it was unfit and had to pay for the pleasure. The new room we moved too had a broken heater and it's freezing in winter. Also the balcony flooded so I ended up slipping and twisting my ankle. Staff didn't care, worst hotel experience ever and this was my honeymoon !!!! This hotel should be removed from this site for the sake of customers I might of been a 5 star hotel 5 years ago but it's barely a 1 star now. Distraught

We booked the 1st week of September 2017 and it has to be the worst hotel I have ever been too. Having three children with me I really needed the hotel to be easy for me but it was the complete opposite. The toilets by the pool you couldn’t use because they were never cleaned So I therefore had to keep running upstairs to my room, the children’s pool had cigarette butts, polyfiller along the sides which was very wet and the smell of urine by the pool chairs was horrific! the service was terrible, the staff by the pool bar acted as if they were on holiday- I asked for towels for the children and they had ran out (it was 10 am in the morning) and rubbish bin were over flowing. The one thing I can say was the lady who cleaned our room was lovely so I didn’t mind tipping her on a daily basis and the breakfast staff were amazing.

Hotel is a little tired and could do with some work although they were painting during our visit. The port is Smir was disappointing with many shops closed. Certainly gone downhill since our last visit four years ago. We received a room upgrade and rooms were very good with small balcony and lovely views. Newer hotels have opened in the area.

Disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Room needs an upgrade. Very noisy. Hotel has a beach night club with loud music until 3 am. Food and drinks are over priced and low quality. Restaurant very disorganized. The area is beautiful and people includîng hotel staff are extremely nice and welcoming. .

The hotel is nice and we had a very pleasant stay but you can tell it hasn't had investment in a while. It feels a little tired in places e.g. furniture just a little worn. The spa area was very run down - although we were told it wasn't fully open until May for the season. We didn't book any treatments because no-one was around and it didn't look inviting. However, the room and beds were very comfortable - no working aircon though which didn't matter in April but could be hot in summer. The ceiling fan worked fine and there was a mini fridge. Great terrace on our room overlooking the tennis courts and beach. Excellent food - breakfast, lunch and dinner (once we had this as room service which was good) and a bar which serves alcohol (not always the case in Morocco). Beautiful pool with sun umbrellas and loungers. It is right next to the beach if you prefer sand and sea. There is a row of restaurants next to the beach (out of the back of the hotel) if you prefer to eat out. The staff were very helpful, all very friendly and polite. We were two women travelling alone and felt very comfortable at the hotel.

5 years ago I visited during the summer and it was different. The facilities that make a difference between a 2 stars and 5 stars were all closed (indoor pool, sauna,...). I had to complain 3 times before the wifi was fixed. Breakfast was ok but not a buffet. All in all, 5 stars price but 2 stars service

Hotel was fine for a weekend at the beach. The pool bar was not open during our weekend stay. I was traveling with my sister (both of us are young females in our 20s) and the hotel staff gave our room number to a man at the bar!!! Extremely unsafe. The hotel allowed him to phone us and when we received the call at 11pmy while sleeping we were very angry and nervous for our safety. The man then proceeded to come to our door and knock after we had told him over the phone to stop bothering us so late at night. Definitely would not stay at this hotel again. Rooms were a bit on the dirty sode. There was hair in the tub when we got there and ants crawling all over the floor. Service was decent and the view from the room was beautiful.

The facilities were nice. The checkout was unpleasant. The clerk tried to charge us for the candy bar we had bought along the way. He did not believe that we had not eaten/drunk anything out of the mini bar and had to send his staff to inspect our room. When he got a call back reporting an empty candy bar package was in the room, he could not seem to comprehend that someone could buy a candy bar from a store and would not believe our word.
