The hotel is in a good location, but that's about all there is to say.

Cons: This hotel is far too expensive for the quality it offers. They couldn’t make our room keys at check-in because “a machine” was broken. The breakfast area is organized in a particularly chaotic manner. It seems as though this hotel is very poorly managed. The room we were assigned was outdated. They also asked for a €150 deposit, which was immediately charged to our account even though we used a credit card. This is very unusual practice. Three days later, the hotel still hasn’t refunded the deposit. There are much better hotels available in Paris at much lower prices

Cons: All'arrivo il bagno era fortemente maleodorante, abbiamo chiesto di pulirlo ma lo hanno fatto il giorno dopo. Eravamo in tre e ci hanno dato asciugamani per due e, anche se richiesto, il terzo ce lo hanno portato il giorno successivo. L'erogatore dell'acqua sul corridoio è rimasto fuori uso per tutta la durata del soggiorno anche se lo abbiamo segnalato all'arrivo.

Cons: Tabii. Daha akıcı, dengeli ve yorum sitesi üslubuna uygun hâle getirdim: Merhabalar, bu otelde 3 gün konakladım. Yorumları okuyarak özellikle lokasyonu için tercih etmiştim ancak maalesef beklentilerimi karşılamadı. Bir turist olarak Uber kullanmak yerine çoğu yere yürüyerek ulaşmayı tercih ediyorum fakat otelin konumu düşündüğüm kadar merkezi değildi. Eyfel Kulesi’ne yürüyerek yaklaşık 1 saat 10-15 dakika, Champs-Élysées’ye ise yaklaşık 45 dakika sürüyor. Hijyen ve oda servisi konusunda da memnun kalmadım. Çarşaflar günlük olarak değiştirilmedi. Ayrıca otelin genelinde yoğun, tarçını andıran ve benim için oldukça rahatsız edici bir koku vardı. Olumlu olarak belirtmem gerekirse resepsiyondaki çalışanlar kibardı ve iletişimleri iyiydi. Ancak genel deneyimim beklentimin altında kaldı ve bu oteli tercih ettiğim için pişman oldum. Kendi deneyimime dayanarak tavsiye etmiyorum.

The staff were very friendly, and the location was excellent. It’s right in the city center, which saved us a lot on transportation since many tourist attractions are within walking distance.

Cons: One area that could perhaps be improved is the breakfast setup. The coffee and juice machines can be a little difficult to manage during busy hours, as they may not be able to accommodate the number of guests, resulting in some waiting time. I also understand the hotel’s policy regarding taking food to the rooms. However, it would be greatly appreciated if an exception could be considered when a guest is feeling unwell and is unable to eat comfortably in the breakfast area. This small gesture would make the stay even more comfortable for guests.

Cons: Unfortunately, my experience at Novotel Paris Les Halles was very disappointing. When we arrived, we had difficulty identifying the hotel because there was no clear Novotel name or sign on the building; it only displayed the word “Hotel.” The rooms were also extremely small and did not meet our expectations. There was no shower shampoo in the room. We requested it several times, but it was only provided the following day. Communication with the hotel was also very frustrating, as the room service and reception phone lines were almost always busy or unavailable. What disappointed me most was the attitude of some members of staff. We felt that we were being treated in a condescending and unprofessional manner, almost as if we were asking for services for free rather than being paying guests. Overall, this was a very poor experience and far below what I expected from a Novotel property in such a central location in Paris. Considering the standard of service and the issues we experienced, I believe compensation or a partial refund would be appropriate. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again based on this experience.

We took a family trip to Europe and stayed at this great hotel! Immediately, we were greeted with the front desk specifically Chiderah with a professional manner and kind attitude. She helped our check in seamlessly and even recommended us amazing restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean, breakfast had a variety of options, complimentary ice cream in lobby from 4-6pm, walking distance to nearby attractions, and right by the station. Beds were comfortable and beautiful bathroom and shower. Highly recommend.

This was a three night stay, requiring a safe and central location. Despite the exterior building works taking place, locating the hotel from the metro was easy and checking in also a breeze. The room was spacious, comfortable, had the usual amenities and the bathroom was nice with a rainforest shower and complimentary molten brown soap. The local area has nice bars and coffee shops. The location of Novotel Paris Les Halles was absolutely exceptional! It was perfectly situated, with everything we needed just steps away, including restaurants, cafés, shopping, and public transportation. Many of Paris’s most iconic attractions, including the Louvre, were within easy walking distance, making it the perfect home base for exploring the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better location!

Cons: One thing that was disappointing was the breakfast policy. The hotel advertises that children eat breakfast for free; however, we were told that a child can only receive the free breakfast if an adult purchases a full-priced breakfast. Even after explaining that I wasn’t planning to eat breakfast myself, we were still required to purchase an adult breakfast for the children to eat for free. Because of this policy, we chose to skip breakfast rather than pay $25 for an adult meal that no one in our family was going to eat. It would be helpful if this policy were made clearer when advertising that children eat free to avoid confusion for future guests.

Thank you to Carine on reception who went out of her way to be helpful in advising us the best transport options to watch our son at the rugby stadium and letting us know there were train disruptions. Positive points: - hotel is very well located, proximity to Metro stops and the Louvre museum. Restaurants and shops directly in front! - clean, feels like the hallways have been renovated (bright, new carpets) - welcoming staff at reception - as we arrived at a busy time and could not get early check-in, we stored our luggage and when returned later, they had been brought to our room (which was very appreciated) - despite size of the hotel and how busy they were, we didn't hear any noise from hallway or neighboring rooms - air conditioning!!! Other comments - room felt a bit tight (for 3 people) - management very receptive and ready to accommodate The front reception was very helpful in arranging taxi to take us to CDG airport. We look forward to returning, eager to see how the construction on the front enhances the hotel

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was excellent, with both the Louvre and Notre-Dame within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was good and offered a nice selection. The only minor downside was that the toaster was out of order during our stay, so toast wasn't available. Check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient, with no waiting or any issues. Would like to mention Carine whom was very helpful when booking over the phone as we booked our room last minute. One thing we really appreciated was how quiet the room was. Once the balcony door was closed, we couldn't hear any outside noise, which made for a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

Cons: Nie sprzątają pokoju, podczas 3 dni pobytu tylko raz wymieniono ręczniki, nie sprzątają pokoju, pomimo zgłoszenia uwagi na recepcji nic to nie pomogło. Brak restauracji, oczywiście w odległości kilkunastu metrów jest dziesiątki miejsc z pyszną kuchnią, ale hotel nie oferuje gościa nic ciekawego do jedzenia.

Positives - Clean room, good size, polite reception team and staff in general, (check in excellent - check out not as great), nice hotel, lots of bars / restaurants opposite Negatives - build works next door they don’t tell you about (drilling at breakfast), reception have to be asked 4 times over 2 hours for a pillow, asked for milk for coffee that never arrived, Breakfast is absolutely TERRIBLE the choice and quality is awful - and I mean BAD (I chose one of the days not to eat!), Milk run out of coffee machine, No toaster for bread (no toast), I feel apart from close to the Louvre the position isn’t that great (area not as nice as other places)

Other comments - room felt a bit tight (for 3 people) - shower area is odd, with a full-size window that can see into the bedroom (and out the main window). Cons: J’ai trouvé l’accueil assez froid et impersonnel. Le personnel est resté professionnel, mais les échanges étaient très limités. Lors de mon précédent séjour, l’ambiance m’avait semblé plus chaleureuse et les interactions plus naturelles. Pour un établissement de cette catégorie, je m’attendais à un accueil plus convivial. Un simple sourire et un peu plus de chaleur dans les échanges auraient fait une vraie différence. J’ai également eu le sentiment que les chambres ne reflétaient pas toutes le niveau de modernité des espaces communs rénovés.

Novotel Les Halle’s location is great if using the main hub metro ! It is very crowded area. I didn’t purchase breakfast thru hotel and so feel i overpaid for 3 nights there. The bakery across had good pastries/bread. I asked if we could check in early but was denied and there were alot of people waiting in lobby. I appreciated the high floor (4th floor) quiet side facing their courtyard. There is still construction on outside front entrance as of July 2026

On the positive side, the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel also offered complimentary ice cream every afternoon, which was a lovely surprise and something our kids looked forward to each day. The bed sheets were clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s location is excellent for exploring Paris.

Cons: Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of our room did not meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel. The carpet was heavily stained and looked worn, and the shower fixtures had significant limescale buildup. The bathroom also appeared to need a more thorough clean. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The fruit salad was watery and didn’t taste fresh, the cheeses and breads also seemed stale rather than freshly prepared, and there were flies around the buffet, with some landing on the food. On one occasion, we even found a dead fly on the cheese board, which was quite off-putting.

Avoid. So disappointing. Our room wasnt ready until 430pm after first checking in at 3pm coming off a travel day and heat. The foyer was full of people waiting. Check in is 2pm on website. Hotel is under renovations, no concierge or welcome. First morning we had breakfast at the hotel...no toaster as it was "broken" from a Hotel of this chain we would expect a working toaster. We ate out other days due to sub par breakfast choices. The A/C is terrible, we understand Europe AC is different however it was uncomfortable to even sleep at night. Our room wasnt cleaned or provided fresh towels until after 630pm on second day when we had to ring. Reception bought our towls up and acknowledged they were behind on housekeeping. Pillows were a dishevelled mess, multiple parts to them..need to be thrown out and new ones provided. Hallways smelled like toilet. Only positive would be the location.

The concierge was lovely and every afternoon served free tasty ice cream to the guests which was wonderful because it was very hot outside. Breakfast was very good. The location is great, close to the Louvre, Notre dame and the Marais qrt. Oh ..and there is a huge shopping mall behind the hotel.

Cons: The hallways are a bit dated and smelly. In the late morning there was some noise from the renovation in the hotel but it was tolerable.

Cons: Our room was really not nice, the carpet is outdated and dirty. The room had mould and when we told guest relations they said they hotel was fully booked and nothing they could do. They also never restocked the bar fridge from the previous guest as there was half drunk items on some beverages and left it in the fridge. There was renovations going on so some noise. Rooms really need an upgrade it wasn’t pleasant.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is excellent and makes it very convenient for exploring Paris. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the breakfast offered a good variety, the amenities were nice, the hot water pressure was excellent, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Although we experienced few operational issues during our stay, I believe they were isolated incidents and did not overshadow the many positive aspects of the hotel. Overall, the positives clearly outweighed the negatives, and I would happily consider staying here again on a future visit to Paris.

Cons: It felt like false advertising- this feels way more like a 2.5 star property so it was very frustrating to pay 4 star prices. The AC never worked properly in rooms or lobby which in an historic heat wave was horrible - it was never more than a few degrees cooler than outside (so like above 35C!) and the staff kept insisting it was working whenever we asked. The bathrooms in the room were newer but tiny but the bed/rooms were uncomfortable and cramped. We booked a room for a family of 4 and the room was absolutely for 3 - the second bed was tiny and we knew it was meant for 3 when there were only 3 pillows and 3 towels. There was also dried blood on our blankets and when we mentioned it to front staff they said sorry but didn’t remove it. We also checked in 2.5 hrs after check in time and our room was not ready and they made us wait in the lobby for far too long (when the lobby was easily 40C). The previous weekend we stayed in another Paris hotel for the exact same prices and it was lovely - actual room for 4, working AC, equally great location for the same price per night. Folks save your money and spend it in one of the hundreds of other hotels in Paris. I’ve traveled across Europe for 25 years and this was definitely one of the worst hotels I’ve been in, especially for the price.

Cons: Le personnel n'est pas très avenant, très peu le sont, l'impression de déranger chaque fois qu'on les aborde. Pas un regard de courtoisie ..C'est dans les détails qu'on reconnait un accueil chaleureux. La chambre attribuée avait plusieurs soucis ( bruit du bar toute la nuit, clim pas très fonctionnel, le flou de la salle de bain qui se désactive tout seul...,)pas assez d'eau - il faut se servir à la fontaine, pas de service pour aider pour les bagages à l'arrivée. Ils ont été réactif pour faire un changement de chambre le lendemain (merci Lucian), après ça c'était un peu plus supportable Experience pas digne d'un Novotel, ni d'un 4 étoiles !

My husband & I found this hotel to be par excellence. We purposefully went to Paris to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Staying at Novetel Paris le Halles was such a good choice. The rooms, the staff, the service and the breakfast were tops. They left a bottle of champagne and chocs quietly into our suite as a big surprise to us. They upgraded us with no extra cost, we can't praise them enough it was so good. The hotel is right beside the metro & train station for easy travel to the main attractions. There was lots of good restaurants near the hotel. We enjoyed the French restaurants in particular. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends for all of the above reasons. Ωραίο πρωινό στον κήπο, άμεση πρόσβαση στο μετρό, δωρεάν παγωτό το απόγευμα,, καλός κλιματισμός, προσπαθούν πραγματικά να επικοινωνήσουν καλά στα Αγγλικά, μας οργάνωσαν τούρτα και λουλούδια για τα γενέθλια της κόρης μας, έφεραν την τούρτα τραγουδώντας happy birthday ευχαριστούμε Ιρεν για την οργάνωση. Μας έκαναν καλωσόρισμα με χυμό μήλου, σαμπάνια και σοκολάτες!!!

Cons: Η μπανιέρα γλιστράει πολύ, βέβαια μείναμε σε δωμάτιο που δεν είχε ανακαινιστει. Ελπίζω στην ανακαίνιση αυτό να αλλάξει αλλιώς προσοχή, εύκολη πτώση ( η κόρη μου γλίστρησε και έπεσε ευτυχώς χωρίς κάτι σοβαρό να συμβεί)

Le problème est qu'il n'est précisé nulle part que l'établissement est en travaux au départ on m'a mise dans une chambre non réformée d'après moi , le sol était dégoutant la moquette toute tachée on m'a déplacée dans une autre chambre, mais les travaux étaient insupportables pendant la journée, marteaux, perceuses .... ce n'est pas mon concept d'un séjour à l'hotel

An hidden gems in the center of Paris, on St Honoré side. I attended a family gathering in the yard and the magic happened Team was fully dedicated, food perfect and the garden side is a must seen. And above all, the hotel is 100% kids friendly. Kids had the time of their life and for the first time in months, I didn't feel judged my the team. Everyone has been friendly and supportive. Cons: The check in was horrible. We arrived at 1:30 pm (check-in clearly noted 2 PM) and told the rooms not ready. They said 20-30 min and took our luggage and it was all good. We went for lunch and came back over an hour later and still our rooms were not ready! We had two rooms with five people so we all waited another 30 minutes in the lobby before being given one small room for the two people and told the other room would maybe be an hour or so!? We had arrived on an international flight and been up for over 24 hours at that point and finally around 4 pm - 2 hours after check-in time before we finally got the room! The bed was super uncomfortable, incredibly lumpy. The pillows had no support. Stayed four nights - it’s important to note that the hotel is under major construction (not sure how long this will take) but If you plan to sleep in past 9 AM the jackhammer will start and shakes the whole building. For some reason on the third night, the water started running. Water was running constantly in the wall. No water was leaking into the room that could be seen but It sounded like someone was showering constantly all night long. The water ran like you were sleeping in a waterfall and kept us up. I spoke to the concierge who said they would check on it as it sounded like a pipe or toilet was broken or something. By the next night, I called down again after not having any sleep and was told there was an issue with the hotel and nothing could be done. The water wasn’t causing damage - It was just running through the pipes like a waterfall was raging all night long in the room - needless to say we couldn’t wait to check out after four very sleepless, tired nights at this hotel

A truly memorable stay. Cristina and the guest relations team were exceptionally kind, attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. Joakim from the restaurant team was also great. Cristina particularly made my son’s 25th birthday very special. We especially appreciated the warmth and encouragement when he spoke French and Spanish with her and the staff. L’emplacement est excellent : tout est accessible à pied – le Louvre, Notre-Dame, la Seine. De nombreux restaurants se trouvent à proximité, dont un restaurant chinois juste à côté, et la nourriture y est vraiment délicieuse. Pour des raisons de sécurité, l’ascenseur fonctionne avec un badge d’accès, ce qui est rassurant. Il y a un coffre-fort dans la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner est bon, les produits sont de qualité, mais un peu cher (25 € par personne, les enfants sont gratuits). Le personnel est aimable et poli. Le bar propose un large choix de boissons, mais malheureusement rien n’est gratuit : la liste des prix se trouve dans le bar. Dans l’ensemble, un très bon séjour à Paris.

Cons: At det ikke var inkludert frokost til en såpass høy pris.

Чисто, гарно, великий простір

Cons: Номер на час заїзду (14.00 не був готовий). Залишили речі і пішли гуляти. На 18.00 прийшла в готель. Переді мною в готель прийшла велика група людей. Я підійшла до дівчини латиноамериканки, яка була вільна і спитала чи можу отримати ключі від номеру. На що вона грубо відповіла «Чекайте. Люди перед вами». Але я кажу «Вони ж тільки будуть реєструватися. Я це зробила ще в 14.00». Мене вона відправила, а сама почала реєструвати людей. Знову чекати 🤦‍♀️ також беруть депозит 150 євро. Повертають при виселенні.

Location was great. Staff were accommodating. Room was clean and large for family of 4

Cons: Only odd thing about our King suite was the location of toilet. It was in its own room right at the entrance of the suite, while the sink and shower/tub were at the back of suite in a separate bathroom. Therefore after using toilet you had to walk back to the bathroom to wash hands.

Very well located, clean, friendly staff

Cons: Just the location for our particular room. While there was a great view, we were right above the metro station and the loud noises early in the morning woke my children up.
