I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the entire team at The Oberoi, Marrakech for making our stay so special. From the moment we arrived, we were genuinely impressed by the kindness, professionalism and attention of everyone we met. Beyond the beautiful hotel itself, it is really the people who make the experience so memorable. You can feel that the team truly cares about the guests, and that makes all the difference. A very special thank you to Oussama at the Front Office, who was always incredibly helpful and welcoming, to Oussama at breakfast for his kindness and attention every morning, and to Rachid, the Supervisor, for his professionalism and genuine care. There are also several other members of the team who deserve to be mentioned, and we will make sure to thank and recognize them individually in writing. To the whole team: please keep doing what you are doing. The warmth, the smiles, the small attentions and the genuine desire to make guests happy are what make a stay truly special. After extensive travel across five continents and in most of the top-tier hotel properties & brands, you subconsciously develop an almost-unrealistic bar for future places to meet. After returning from The Oberoi, Marrakech this week, I'm placing in at the top of all my stays to date. From the welcome & check-in to departure, breakfast to private Grand Canal dinner, there's not a lot to fault here. Every element of both hard and soft product has been considered. To call out an individual above and beyond the great work all the staff do, a specific thank you to Rachid. We'll be back and have just booked our India tour for next year off the back of this stay.

This is a truly beautiful hotel, and I absolutely loved my private villa and the peaceful atmosphere throughout the grounds. One of the highlights for me was the stunning architecture, which is reminiscent of a historic Moroccan courtyard. The beautifully landscaped gardens and expansive grounds make the property feel both luxurious and tranquil. The traditional-style villas are incredibly spacious, each with a private pool, offering the perfect place to relax. The service was exceptional from start to finish. I was fortunate to stay here as part of a business trip, which gave me the opportunity to experience the hotel’s extensive catering offerings as well as several privately hosted events. Every meal and event was flawlessly executed and made for an unforgettable experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had an incredible short but sweet stay after a few days in the Atlas Mountains, and wish we spent the majority of our time here instead! This was my first impression of an Oberoi and from what I’d seen and read I had very high expectations - thankfully those expectations were exceeded. Architecturally this is most impressive hotel I’ve ever seen, I could easily spend all day walking around the grounds of the hotel and still be mesmerised by the end of it. The service was excellent, the food was even better (had the best curry of my life here), and the facilities are amazing - far better than anything you’d find in Marrakech. The spa here alone is worth a trip, with a stunning design and a breathtaking indoor pool (with an outdoor relaxation area). We had a brilliant couples massage and highly recommend it. We also made use of the Padel court onsite which was good despite the heat! The room was very nice and extremely spacious, I highly recommend a villa with pool as it gives you a great sense of privacy. We did have a couple of minor annoyances with the room - for a newish hotel, I’d have expected there to be USB ports on both sides of the bed rather than just one side. Secondly, having recently returned from a couple of One&Only resorts, a Ritz Carlton reserve, and a Mandarin Oriental in the last few months, the Dyson hairdryers provided there are far superior to the one provided here at the Oberoi, the one here felt a bit cheap and flimsy when compared with those … it’s a very small detail which by no means hinders your experience, but when you’re comparing to other ‘Ultra Luxurious’ brands it might be something for this hotel to consider. The WhatsApp service was very convenient and easy to use, with requests actioned promptly at all times. We will 100% return to this hotel in the next couple of years (for longer next time) and can’t wait for our upcoming Oberoi stay in India as a result of the high standard set here!

It is rare that a hotel can spoil you for others, but this is one of those hotels. The service is outstanding and the hotel stay came with a large amount of generosity in a number of ways which certainly turned us in to life long fans of the brand. Nothing was too much trouble for the management and staff within the hotel. The villa was outstanding and the goodwill late check out supplied to us, very much welcomed - after 6 nights we were sad to depart and return home. Outstanding.

It is difficult to put into words how beautiful and extravagant this hotel is. Every minute detail is perfection, and all hand carved. This property is a peaceful haven you will not want to leave. I was truly in awe of both the views of the Atlas mountains from the property as well as all of the incredible tilework, marble carving, water features, and on and on. It is majestic. We had two pool villas and they were elegant, large, immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable, with every amenity you would ever need or want. We ate at the pool, the Indian restaurant and the breakfast terrace and each meal was outstanding. The service is top notch at this property and I would stay here every time I visit Marrakech without question.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning place, probably the best looking hotel I’ve stayed in. It’s an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. My fourth visit to the Oberoi, Marrakech and it just gets better. Anyone who doesn't have a perfect holiday here is I believe very unlucky. Everything about the hotel says quality from the accommodation, the setting, facilities and the food, but especially the staff. They in my opinion make the Oberoi so special. At whatever level and regardless of their role they will always go the extra mile to be of assistance. Friendly and helpful from the General Manager down. Being easy to get to from the UK it's hard to find a reason for not going back if you're looking for a totally relaxing break and with a June visit this time the weather was perfect if you like guaranteed sun.

Just - Wow. Everything about The Oberoi Marrakech is top notch. Gorgeous hotel, luxurious rooms, incredible property with amazing views. Excellent service. Every detail is thought through. Loved the dining and service throughout the property. We have stayed in many luxury properties around the world and this is up there as one of the best. Note it is about 15-20 min out of the center of Marrakech (medina) but that was fine with us. We visited La Mamounia while we were there after hearing so many great things and The Oberoi was FAR superior - La Mamounia is such a storied hotel but the two cannot be compared. I would recommend The Oberoi to anyone seeking a luxurious hotel, amazing views and unparalleled service.

It is an extraordinary hotel set on twenty hectares of land, surrounded by centuries old olive trees. There is an incredible sense of space, with beautifully landscaped gardens throughout the property. The service is truly next level. Honestly an 11 out of 10 . The food is good. The lunch service by the main pool is set in a beautiful location but the quality of the food and service there was somewhat disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel experience, if I had to mention a point for improvement . What truly blew me away, was the scale of the architecture and the craftsmanship in the details. This place was built with love, care and vision over the course of ten years. It has soul- something that is increasingly rare in luxury hospitality today. For me. The Oberoi Marrakech is firmly in competition with my other favorite The Manderin Oriental Marrakesh for the number one spot there A bow to what they have created .

We were met by the hotel GM himself Rohan Ogale upon arrival, which was a welcoming touch to our stay. The team surprised us with beautiful anniversary decorations in our room, champagne , and thoughtful touches that made the celebration so memorable. The property itself is absolutely stunning — elegant, peaceful, and luxurious in every way. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the people. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. Special mention to Mamdouh Milad, Hajar Bougati, Arjun Krishnan and many others. During our visit, I experienced a medical issue, and the hotel staff were exceptional in helping me recover. They quickly arranged for a doctor, assisted with medications, and continually checked in on me with genuine kindness and concern. Their support meant more to us than words can express. The service is really fantastic, especially Rachid and Insaf the managers have been so helpful with everything. They organized everything for us, they took time to show us the hotel, they organized our room for a special event. Everything was perfect. The Oberoi Hotel in Marrakech is magnificent! The property completely surpassed our expectations in every way and easily merits its two-star Michelin rating. The Oberoi sits within 28 acres of landscaped gardens, citrus orchards, and centuries-old olive groves. Just walking through the gardens is pure bliss. The two restaurants are also outstanding with diverse menus and a solid wine list - including a few select Moroccan wines. We had a chance to taste these local wines with the Oberoi Beverage Director - quite a treat! But above all, the Oberoi staff is not only highly trained and competent, they are sincerely welcoming and hospitable. All in all, a marvelous experience we hope to repeat soon.

Endroit exceptionnel : magnifique jardin, cour majestueuse, villa (présidentielle) superbe avec très grande piscine. Restauration de grande qualité au Rivayat. Personnel très aimable et efficace, du concierge à la réception en passant par le personnel de ménage et d’entretien, celui du spa et des bars et restaurants.
Cons: Le petit déjeuner est très bien mais gagnerait à être un peu plus étoffé (en variété de pains, ou en proposant quelques sushis/sashimis, par exemple)

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The setting is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable and very well maintained. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast was varied and of high quality. Everything is in place for a pleasant stay, whether as a family or as a couple. We will be happy to come back.

Location was fine ....30 minutes by shuttle bus to Marrakech . Went for a relaxing sunshine break but weather was poor for half of the time so undermined the reason we chose to go there . Not the hotels fault of course but just need to check the weather forecast . Villa room with pool excellent . Nice gym and spa centre . Nice to walk around the quiet pretty grounds . But without the sun it's a bit difficult to know what to do within the hotel really . Very good staff .
Cons: Would have liked some lower key offerings in the cafe next to the pool.......ham and cheese baguettes and some cakes etc as it's really an extension of the main restaurant with the high prices . We were waiting for our car to take us to the airport and had an hour and a bit to kill and thought a cup of coffee and cake would be nice not a £35 cheeseburger .

My wife and I spent 10 days at the Oberoi Marrakech hotel. These ten days were the best experience of our holidays. The hotel's food and service were excellent, but the best were the people working there. They were friendly, helpful and very nice. I am especially grateful to Mr Salman at the reception. He helped us many times, but when I had a health problem, he immediately organised a doctor and the medicine which I badly needed. The food was another highlight: diverse, high-quality, and consistently delicious across every meal. Whether breakfast or dinner, the standard never dipped. What truly elevated the experience, however, were the people. A special thank you to Arjun, whose attentiveness and personal touch made every interaction seamless, and to Mamdouh Milad, whose professionalism and care stood out throughout our stay. This is a hotel that understands service at a different level—effortless, refined, and memorable. We left already thinking about when we might return.

This is an outstanding property. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave nothing is too much trouble. The staff are friendly, polite and all round excellent. The Spa is amazing. The gym is well equipped with Technogym. The food is excellent and the dining experience at Rivayat has to have been one of the most special I have ever experienced.

The property is absolutely incredible but what makes this place special is the staff. We’ve been to many luxury hotels around the world but the service at this hotel is just really extraordinary. The pool area is beautiful and quiet but I still felt extremely comfortable with my three boys. Highly recommend a stay here.

Stunning property modelled on Ben youdressef mosque. Every member of staff was exceptional-service was incredible. Nothing was too much effort. Mamdouh in particular went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
Cons: Nothing. But it is a resort so don’t expect to leave. There could have been more restaurants - we ate at the same place every day because we were with small children and there was only 1 restaurant which was open at 6pm. Food took a while to come which also wasn’t ideal with the kids. There were a lot of families at the resort though and by the end of the trip our kids had made friends with the others and were entertained by playing while we waited for the food to come.

11/10. There aren't really words to describe this hotel. We travel all over the world and stay in similarly luxe properties, but this one is one of a kind. Everything is top notch - you arrive to the simply unbelievable craftsmanship of the building. One of my concerns of staying here instead of La Mamounia or the Royal Mansour was that it would not be "authentically" Moroccan enough for my kids to get an experience. I was wrong. The architecture was everywhere and it was otherworldly. The service was of an unparalleled level. It was 5-start all the way, but it was actually more than that. From the general manager to the ground screw (literally the zillions of landscapers they have everywhere constantly maintaining the amazing grounds), everyone is not only polite and service-oriented, they are friendly, curious and kind. They want to engage with you, at the right level, and show Moroccan hospitality at it's finest. We used an extensive amount of the hotel's services - restaurants, pool, fitness, tennis, padel, yoga, laundry - and found this everywhere. The concierge (and all hotel services) via WhatsApp was incredibly efficient and made for a stay with literally zero hassle in arranging anything we wanted. They went above and beyond on many things - free lunches because our rooms were ready a bit late, a private yoga class because they filled the first one, calling restaurants and asking for special Moroccan dishes for us. It was all just exceptional. Our connecting villas were super comfortable with, according to my kids, the best beds they had every slept in. The welcome amenities were enough to feed an army - we didn't make it through them all in 5 days! The size of the private pools were perfect and they kept the pools at a super temperature even when it was chilly and raining out. The natural light and nature that comes in the rooms makes you feel like you are constantly in the amazing hotel grounds. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. When we stay in places like this what often trips me up in my view is not that the place isn't nice enough or the service not good enough, it is that I paid a ton of money and don't feel like I'm getting my full value. At the Oberoi, where we were paying crazy Easter rates (which were everywhere in Morocco), I forgot very quickly what I'd paid and just enjoyed every second of it. Even at those prices, I felt like I received more than my share of value and can't wait to return.

My wife booked a four-night stay at the Oberoi to celebrate a milestone birthday for me, along with our forthcoming 30th wedding anniversary. Like many travellers, we carefully read reviews beforehand and were admittedly sceptical of the near-perfect ratings, despite the hotel’s outstanding reputation. However, we must wholeheartedly eat humble pie. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. It surpassed all our expectations and made our celebration truly unforgettable—one we will cherish for years to come. Every member of the team was attentive throughout our stay. No request, regardless of how big or small, was handled with anything less than the utmost care and urgency. The grounds are simply stunning, and knowing that the same craftsmanship and trades were employed to recreate the design inspiration lends an authentic and distinctive charm to the entire property. Dinner at Rivayet was an experience in itself—beautifully presented dishes, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that perfectly complemented the occasion.

An incredible stay. The grounds and sense of place were unreal and everyone we interacted with were warm and thoughtful. This is what we travel for - to experience authentic hospitality, unique cultures and to spend time in beautiful surroundings that captivate you. Our villa with private pool was perfectly laid out and spacious. The spa offerings were wonderful, as well. We especially loved the breakfast buffet which is a highlight for us when we travel. Service was responsive and always available either in person, by phone or via whatsapp. The kindest, most helpful team. We have been converted to fans of The Oberoi!

Truly memorable birthday trip. My wife actually had tears when we left, we realised this wasn’t because of the stunning venue but it was the staff. They genuinely wanted to make our birthday special without trying to upsell us anything. Yes it’s 20 mins outside the centre but the building is a sight to see in itself. He kindly came out to meet us, took the time to understand our preferences, and guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations tailored to our tastes. Every dish he suggested was outstanding — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly crafted with great care. At the end of the meal, Chef Sumit returned to check in on us, which really highlighted the level of attention and pride in service. Amazing food, amazing service, and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Marrakech.

We booked a Pool Villa room and very much enjoyed our stay. 5-star service and soft product. The staff here are excellent and incredibly attentive. A lot of hotels fall short in this area, but The Oberoi excels. They even took a number of extra steps such as surprise treats in the room, children's sized slippers and robe for our daughter (without us requesting), etc. Landscape and facilities are fantastic. Gorgeous main building inspired by the Madrasa Ben Youssef. Excellent spa, fitness center and indoor pool. Beautiful main pool with a deeper section for adults and shallow areas for children. Walking the grounds is so peaceful with the gardens and olive trees. Our room was excellent with nice separation between the areas and a fully private pool experience. Very special place.

Having stayed at many five-star hotels in the same segment in Morocco (Mandarin Oriental, Banyan Tree, etc.), I can say that The Oberoi offers the best service by far. Throughout every department, from housekeeping to guest relations, the level of care was exceptional. I would like to personally thank Mr. Mamdouh Milad and Mr Oussama, who were extremely helpful from the very beginning, as well as the entire staff (Valet, Front Office, Houskeeping, SPA, Dinning and Kids Club Staff). Even though we didn't stay at the villas, the suites in the main building were very spacious and housekeeping did a fantastic job when refreshing the rooms. The main garden was really something, you just cannot get enough of the view! As for the amenities, we really enjoyed our time at the spa, the indoor pool, and the sauna/hammam. They also have an excellent Indian restaurant "Rivayat" led by a Michelin star chef. The food was great and the staff was super helpful!

Throughout the stay there were always making sure my kids, husband and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. I can say without a doubt that you will not find the same customer service in any other hotel-it was amazing! Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Nos hemos alojado en el Hotel Oberoi mi marido y yo junto a nuestros hijos de 7 y 8 años, y ha sido nuestra primera vez en este hotel. Sin duda, ha superado todas nuestras expectativas. El hotel es precioso, un auténtico palacio situado a tan solo 30 minutos del aeropuerto. La habitación era muy amplia y confortable; nos prepararon dos camas supletorias para los niños y todo funcionaba perfectamente. Además, nos recibieron con unos dulces y chocolates riquísimos en la habitación, un detalle que nos encantó. Tuvimos la oportunidad de probar el restaurante hindú, que fue magnífico, y también el otro restaurante donde se sirve el desayuno, igualmente muy bueno. El desayuno fue excelente, muy variado y, sobre todo, perfectamente atendido. El personal merece una mención especial: es sencillamente magnífico. Atento, gentil, siempre con una sonrisa y anticipándose a cualquier necesidad. No tenemos palabras suficientes para agradecer el trato recibido. Nuestros hijos disfrutaron muchísimo del kids club. Las personas que estuvieron con ellos fueron muy atentas y, cuando los niños ya querían estar con nosotros, los acompañaron hasta la habitación, un detalle que valoramos enormemente. También disfrutamos del spa, que es fantástico, y las terapeutas fueron muy profesionales y agradables. La única pega fue el tiempo, que no acompañó demasiado, pero aun así la experiencia ha sido maravillosa. Es un hotel totalmente recomendable y, sin duda, nos encantará volver.

This property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it became one of the best anniversary trips we’ve ever had. Communication with the concierge after booking was impeccable. Upon arrival, our transportation was already waiting for us with fresh water and snacks, and along the drive to the hotel they shared helpful details about Marrakesh, which was a thoughtful touch. At check-in, we were greeted with fresh-pressed juice and flowers for my wife. A member of the front desk personally escorted us to our suite and provided an informative tour of the property, pointing out key areas along the way. Our suite was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated for our anniversary. We did experience one minor issue with ants in the room, but a quick WhatsApp message resolved it immediately. The team handled it professionally, with sincere apologies from multiple staff members. Given the property’s lush gardens and natural landscaping, this was understandable and in no way reflected a lack of cleanliness or care. Room service, dining at all of the restaurants, and overall service were excellent. The servers were knowledgeable about the menus and attentive to food preferences, dietary needs, and allergy accommodations. A special mention to Mamdouh Milad, Director of Rooms, who was gracious and ensured our stay was peaceful, seamless, and exceptional. The gardens are immaculately maintained, and the entry staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and professional. Overall, The Oberoi Marrakech exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this property for a special occasion or luxury stay.

Stunningly beautiful property with the familiar perfectly trained and friendly Oberoi staff. The little villas are spacious and luxuriously appointed, the pool genuinely private and delightful. Whilst the property is not in the Medina, but a little outside, we found this very peaceful and the beautiful view of the atlas mountains and the free shuttle buses more than compensated.
Cons: For a longer stay some more variety on the restaurant side would be welcome.

They planned the dinner with real care, handled the timing and details smoothly, and even coordinated with the photographer and videographer in a way that felt seamless and stress-free for us. The setup was beautiful, the atmosphere was intimate and elegant, and the food was outstanding — every course felt refined, fresh, and genuinely delicious. What stood out most was how effortless they made it feel: no confusion, no awkward pauses, just a flow that let us fully live in the moment. And I have to give a special, heartfelt thank you to our butler, Younnes — he was exceptional in a way that’s honestly rare. Younnes wasn’t just professional; he was warm, respectful, and unbelievably attentive without ever being intrusive. The hotel has huge private grounds. The buildings were stunning and the gardens were well managed. The hotel reached out before our travel to arrange for the private airport shuttle service. They even prepared a booster seat for our child. The staff were professional and friendly. They always greeted us with a warm smile whenever we met. The room was clean and spacious and tidied beautifully everyday and we did not have to ask for anything. The staff at Tamimt restaurant were fantastic. They always paid attention to our child and accommodated our needs. The food portions were very generous, including those from the kids menu. The service was quick and smooth. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner there everyday. It took 30-40 minutes to get to the old town and we used the hotel minibus every time. The concierge kindly made recommendations about where to go and the driver told us precisely where and when we should wait for him for the return journey. The entire stay felt stress-free and we were well looked after. We would love to stay with them again.

The Oberoi is so beautiful and intricately designed - from the interior courtyard and restaurants to the expansive gardens with reflective pools and a large variety of trees and flowering plants. We loved our breakfasts on the terrace of the main restaurant facing gorgeous views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Our dinners at the Moroccan/international restaurant and the Indian restaurant were a treat with quiet ambiance. The spa facilities were a peaceful place to relax and we enjoyed an amazing and invigorating Hammam treatment. We booked one of the suites that had a private outdoor area with swimming pool and spent some time relaxing there. The suite itself was very spacious with a large bathroom and walk-in closet. We would definitely recommend staying at the Oberoi.

This hotel has got everything right. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, being situated in an old olive tree farm and having been built in the style of the Madrasa Ben Youssef. The food at breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Food is clearly labelled and there is a great variety of options both in terms of cuisines and options for people with dietary requirements (veggie, vegan etc). In addition, the kitchen was willing to make anything additional that we needed, which was much appreciated. We enjoyed eating at the Indian restaurant whilst sitting in the court yard with the most amazing views. Heaters and blankets were provided to keep guests cosy. What makes a stay at this hotel so enjoyable is undoubtedly the staff. The waiting staff were attentive and caring, with a special mention to Khalid for his service during breakfast. The ground staff keep the gardens immaculate and pass you with a smile. Housekeeping goes above and beyond. Rooms are fully serviced twice a day, with daily restocking of fruit, water/coffee/tea, and a pillow menu. A special thank you also to Mamdouh (Director of Rooms) for his care and attentiveness throughout our stay. The airport transfers ensure that you have no hassle with taxis to and from the hotel, meaning you arrive and leave relaxed. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

We were blown away by how nice the Oberoi was, the website really does not do it justice. The main building and grounds are stunning and we had a huge junior suite with a surprisingly large private swimming pool. But the most amazing part of the resort was really the staff who go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met and are so warm, genuine, and welcoming. The concierge booked two excursions for us that were superior and not things I could have easily booked myself online and also arranged for us to have premium seating at two restaurants with Moroccan entertainment/belly dancing. It is about 30 mins to get to the city center but for me, I liked having a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle and there is a free shuttle available a few times per day. We had great massages in the spa and there is a beautiful indoor pool area there. We stay at a lot of really high end hotels all over the world like the ritz, four seasons, etc and the Oberoi was really up there for overall experience, I highly recommend.

We reserved a Deluxe Villa and were thoroughly impressed. It was incredibly spacious and featured its own private, stunning garden and pool—perfect for relaxation. The only minor note we had was that the furniture, while elegant, felt as though it required a slight upgrade to match the villa's overall magnificence. The service, however, was flawless and truly stood out. Room service was fast and efficient. Being able to contact the concierge instantly through WhatsApp was a game-changer; they were consistently fast, responsive, and incredibly helpful. This was best demonstrated when they managed to secure a spot for us at a very busy, popular restaurant in the city. Beyond concierge assistance, the hotel offers excellent practical amenities, including a great private car transportation service and even an ATM on-site, ensuring we had everything needed for a seamless stay. They prioritize guest comfort, offering many amenities tailored to provide a great rest. Without a doubt, staying at The Oberoi was the best part of our trip to Marrakesh, and I wholeheartedly recommend this resort. We have stayed at several Oberoi properties and have been impressed by all of them. The attitude of all the staff to their guests is just extraordinary - nothing is too much trouble, and always with a smile. The properties themselves are generally of a very high standard with great attention to detail, even in their older, historic hotels.

I giardini e la camera, grande e spaziosa, il letto un po' scomodo. Bellissimo bagno. Ben organizzato il vestiaire. Un bel complesso con tantissimi ulivi e piante e fiori stupendi, ma ce ne sono oramai parecchi a Marrakech nei 5 stelle. Bravissima la ragazza della Spa e bella la Spa. Impegno del Direttore nell'accontentarci per le numerose mancanze (e poi non andate in novembre, vera bassa stagione, piove, clima nuvoloso e triste) offrendoci un notevole e gentile upgrade a fine vacanza che non abbiamo accettato più che altro per la scomodità del trasloco e, infine, altre cortesie ricevute a causa della nostra delusione.
Cons: Accoglienza inesistente, né un bicchiere di acqua né un the. Ma ad altri offrivano champagne...e poi con noi hanno voluto recuperare, in camera. Tutto è stato un recuperare via via alle mancanze. Faticoso se hai scelto con attenzione un Oberoi. Colazione non da 5 stelle. Ambienti grandi e freddi, addirittura si cena all'aperto con 12-13 gradi ... Pochi servizi di livello, non ci sono ad esempio lezioni di yoga o pilates giornaliere. La navetta ha orari scomodi. Troppo fuori mano per cenare altrove. La cucina è imbarazzante, a partire dal menu piscina, per finire alle cene serali ...fino alla cosiddetta cena stellata (a cibi tristemente insapori e tiepidi). Abbiamo scelto il servizio in camera...una sopravvivenza per chi non ama i sapori difficili In piscina nessun servizio, ci si mette il telo da soli e se ha piovuto i materassini restano bagnati per i giorni seguenti . Tutto senz'anima a prezzi senza senso (la boutique vende una camicia bianca a 700 euro, un Kimono da Spa 270 euro (Made in India). È stata la decima volta a Marrakech, amiamo tanto il Marocco, ma non ritorneremo. I prezzi non giustificano i servizi ed i prodotti se non a Sidi Ghanem, poi Marrakesh è tutta sottosopra per i lavori del 2030 e, dopo qualche anno di miglioramento, lo smog la fa di nuovo da padrone.

Title: Ideal for a complete rest ID#: 1035140795 Text: This is a beautiful place, like a small palace with an extensive garden, quite unlike an ordinary hotel. In fact, the administrative and concierge's desks which greet you in every five star hotel, do not announce themselves as you walk in to the hall that serves as a lobby, they are somewhat hidden away at either side. The General Manager greeted us and other new arrivals, all of us from BA flight 668, which leaves Heathrow brutally early on Thursdays. It seems the staff are well aware of this because our villas were ready and prepared for us two hours before the stated check-in time, which was great news. We had been up at 2am and I really needed a shower and a rest. If you ask for early check-in at a Marriott or Hyatt, they will sternly and routinely refuse without bothering to see what is available. The Oberoi management quite happily and courteously gave us late check-out too. The villas are large, serene and peaceful, each with an un-overlooked terrace and plunge pool. You will have a walk-in wardrobe and a powerful Hansgrohe-equipped shower in a room so big you think of it as therapeutic. The Indian restaurant is very good. I really felt as if I were eating a meal in India. The mango-based dessert was lovely. The quality of cooking was very good at all restaurants. The whole place - the service, the space you are given, the perfect meals, the serenity - is ideal if you need a rest. If you don't need a rest, the Medina is 25 minutes away. In-Drive is the cab hailing app used in Marrakech. Once you've experienced the insane Medina, you will be pleased to return to the Oberoi.

While luxury hotels naturally impress with beautiful design, refined décor, and high-quality furnishings, what sets this property apart is the people. In our many years of travel, the level of hospitality here remains among the very best we have ever experienced. This was our second visit, and once again we were welcomed like family. Mr Rohan leads with genuine enthusiasm, and his positive energy flows effortlessly through his entire team. A special mention must go to Mr Mamdouh Milad, who, in our view, embodies the essence of true hospitality. His warmth, charm, and gracious manner make every interaction memorable. He is a remarkable asset to the property and alone would justify a return. We were also exceptionally well looked after by Mr Al Shabib, who ensured our comfort around the pool and throughout the resort. Our children were always greeted with genuine kindness, and the thoughtful takeaway lunch he prepared for them before our departure was deeply appreciated. He is undoubtedly a future General Manager within The Oberoi Group. The team at Tamim, led by Mr Mahdi, provided some of the happiest and most attentive service we have experienced anywhere. Nothing was ever too much trouble—whether accommodating special requests or preparing dosas outside the day’s menu. A heartfelt thank-you must also go to the Ladies of the Kids’ Club. We had the most amazing stay at The Oberoi this past July. From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted by the warm hospitality, beautiful grounds, and elegant ambiance that surrounded us. As a family of five, we were delighted by the thoughtful touches awaiting us in our room from the sweet cupcakes and treats for our kids, a lovely bottle of wine for my husband and me, and a stunning balcony overlooking the lush gardens. It truly set the tone for a perfect stay. The restaurants were exceptional and every meal felt like a special occasion. But the breakfast was the true highlight! From fresh-pressed juices to buttery pastries and a wide variety of delicious options, it was an experience in itself. I’m not usually one for large breakfasts, but everything was so beautifully presented and flavorful that we couldn’t resist indulging. We stayed in a villa with a private pool which was beautifully decorated and the pool area in very intimate so you can really feel like you're alone in the world! The service was out of this world, with the staff making sur eyou have the best time in the hotel. We had a private BBQ dinner which was a moment we wil cherish forever. we can't recommend the place enough! Thanks to Mr. Mamdouh and all the staff that made our stay special.

I had another fantastic stay at the hotel, and the service truly sets it apart. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, but two individuals deserve special recognition. Mamdouh, the Room Division Manager, is a true asset to the team. His attention to detail is remarkable. He remembered me from my previous visit and took great care to ensure every aspect of my stay was smooth and comfortable. A big thank you also goes to Anas at the front desk (I apologize if I have the spelling wrong). He was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Furthermore, I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful spa treatment. The hotel offers such a complete experience that you can easily enjoy a perfect, relaxing holiday without ever needing to leave. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

For us, a stay at the Oberoi is a homecoming. With Mamdouh greeting Natasha with gorgeous Morrocan red roses, we were off to a flying start. The property itself took our breath away with its architectural magnificence. And ode to PRS, with its classy, understated extravagance. We had the good fortune to make the Presidential Villa home, enjoying the fabulous art and the privacy, cocooned by the Oberoi ethos of quiet luxury. But for us any stay is about the people who touch us. From Mamdouh, who personifies the Oberoi way, to sweet Samira who was our guide to the property, the stylish and elegant Samir whose personal interest and recommendations were defining moments of our Marrakech visit, the F&B team lead by Arjun, caring Insaf and every other smiling face that we encountered, made our stay one for the ages. All this under the watchful and guiding hand at the wheel of the Captain, the very personable and charming Rohan Ogale. You run a great ship with pride and personality. We are lifelong brand ambassadors of the Oberoi. And the Marrakech trip simply put that in a bold and underlined font. Shukran!

The Oberoi Marrakech is simply incredible in every way. Every single detail has been considered to ensure a perfect stay. The service is out of this world - the staff is anticipatory and we never found ourselves asking for anything. From the minute we were picked up, we felt like we were personally being cared for and welcomed to a level I haven’t experienced at another hotel in my life. A special shoutout to Mamdouh and Wissal for making sure our stay was out of this world. The grounds and rooms are extremely well maintained, the pool is gorgeous, the food is delicious, the hotel is serene and we simply didn’t want our stay to end

My wife and I were treated like honoured guests during our 4 night stay. Our Riad (accommodation) was fabulous. We didn't use the hotel pool but we did use our private pool to cool off. I used the gym which is well equipped with Technogym equipment and free weights. All of the hotel staff from housekeeping, to drivers, to Concierge made us feel welcome. We ate in the Indian restaurant twice it was so good. The property is 25 minutes from the old town. We used the shuttle and car service to go to Royal Mansour for dinner, to the Market and the Yves St. Laurent Gardens and museum.. The hotel arranged an early morning hot air balloon ride which was a highlight of our visit to Marrakesh.

Our second stay here was as amazing as the first. We love the friendly yet professional staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is one of the best in the world and is enjoyed whilst gazing at incredible views including the Atlas Mountains. The villas are opulent, spacious and well equipped. We also enjoyed the extensive activities with my favourites being the huge indoor pool at the spa and the newly installed padel court

We are writing this review whilst at the hotel. We have travelled internationally extensively over the last 40 years . The Marrakech Oberoi is set in beautiful grounds. The villas are kept immaculately clean and our cleaner Fatima Zehra Settoui was excellent and very committed. The hotel staff are in every department first class. The hotel prides itself as being the no 1 resort within the Oberoi group for the Middle east. We are over very many years used to visiting Dubai and we have to say that overall the hotel is struggling to operate within its 5 star rating. We are however sure anyone coming here will thoroughly enjoy their stay by reason of the staffs efforts - however there are issues which should not be happening with this grade of hotel. In essence these are issues which reflect more at the management level. Ww have now within a weeks holiday experienced problems which have ranged over the following matters:- 1. A door bell which did not my work - causing us to have staff walking in when we did not know they were calling - the bell was repaired upon request; 2. Leaving used pots and cutlery from lunch room service without recovery until a reminder call was made - this has happened more than once - again eventually rectified; 3. Not fully replenishing tea, milk and other items without making a specific request to do so; 4. Room turn down service being delayed requiring a follow up telephone call to effect; 5. Serving the wrong room service request and then not rectifying the same without a follow up call and our refusal to sign the unrectified meal invoice provided; 6. The restaurants here serve excellent food - yet yesterday at the highly rated Indian restaurant the chicken dish served to one of us and also to our friends was barely warm - one of our friends raised this issue and the meal was redone - the other two were thought to be passable but today those who ate these chicken meals have been unwell; 7. The pool service is below par - we have to ask for water and ice and prep our own sun beds on arrival - for a 5 star rated resort in our experience this is highly unusual; 8. In addition several of the sun bed umbrellas in use are damaged - again this is not a good look for a 5 star resort 9. The breakfast choice is very good and the restaurant staff very helpful but the food has been sent back on a number of occasions as too cold or in regard to waffles and eggs over done; 10. The hotel minibus used for complimentary trips to Marrakech was extremely hot when we used it and when air conditioning was requested the windows were still left open causing the passengers to experience wind disruption unnecessarily - the bus appears a little elderly for a 5 star resort. 11. We comment that the buggy hotel drivers are required to wear traditional Moroccan clothing including heavy velvet capes in what is often 40 degree heat which we are sure becomes very uncomfortable for these employees and should be replaced with lighter clothing. Again we should emphasise the potential of future guests enjoying this hotel BUT these issues should not be happening at a 5 star resort. We hope this assists others. Ashley Murray

All the team contributed to an unforgettable experience, the reception staff were friendly, the restaurant team at RIVAYAT provided excellent service, I ate there twice, and Mrs Talia from housekeeping went above by anticipating my needs. This was our first time in Morocco and also to Marrakesh. I wanted a week of relaxation away from work. The Oberoi gave us the best introduction to a beautiful country and its lovely people. Firstly the hotel itself is exceptional, a palace with amazing decoration. The grounds are well maintained and together with the Spa meant we stayed largely in the hotel as it was so relaxing. Usually it takes me a while to wind down from work but staying here I was chilled after 24 hours. As an enhancement there are 3 places to eat. The Rivayat Restaurant offers the Degustation menu with wine paring which made our night special. The Tamimt restaurant has a brilliant menu which also specialises in Moroccan food, which we found to be superb. We ate here often and highly recommend both. The Azur is beside the pool and again offered beautiful food. As well as the hotel being exquisite , this is enhanced by the amazing team working. Our thanks to El Habib for his amazing service, Mohammed, Adil and both Oussamas at Azur who looked after us like VIPs at the pool and welcomed us with broad smiles daily poolside. Yassine and Hassan at the Vue bar looked after us with eclectic and great cocktails and made us laugh every evening. We ate most thankful to Mohamed from Tamimt whose humour and brilliant service and guidance with Moroccan food gave us an exceptional evening every time we ate. We have had our minds opened to the excellence or Moroccan food and wine. Thank you team Oberoi. There are many people who work in the back ground who we haven’t thanked but made our stay wonderful. Some recommendations from us, When you arrive have a Moroccan Hammam which we had and is great. Try the Moroccan wine tasting. The quality is very high. Relax and walk the grounds.

Our stay at The Oberoi was nothing less than exceptional. This is our second time visiting and definitely not the last. From the warm welcome upon our arrival, the festively decorated room for my mother's birthday and incredibly kind, hardworking and thoughtful staff to the breath taking property and view from our room. This is absolutely our favorite place to stay in Marrakech. The hotel is very calm, with exceptional architecture and lots of nature surrounding it. The facilities at the hotel and services provided by the hotel/the concierge were more than one could think of. The breakfast every morning was very good and fresh, bikes to cycle through the premises, the wonderful spa and much more. Also the bottle of olive oil (from the resort's own olive trees) that is provided upon departure is such a lovely detail. All in all, when leaving The Oberoi it is like we were leaving our home and our family.

The Oberoi Marrakech is a wonderfully peaceful hotel situated about half an hour from the centre of Marrakech and set in 25 acres. The exceptional staff were most welcoming and the service was impeccable. We felt we were very special. They seemed to know what we wanted even before we asked for it. For example, we were asked on the first evening what juice we would like at breakfast. We asked for watermelon and there it was in the morning. Our villa had its own 30ft swimming pool with a spacious patio. The curtains were drawn with the press of a button. The hotel and grounds are far more beautiful than pictures indicate. Perfect for a relaxing, luxurious escape.

Stayed there 1 night for our wedding anniversary. The hotel management and staff pulled all the stops to make our stay truly magical and unforgettable. The lobby is just stunning and makes you feel like you’re entering a palace from another time. Food four our special diner was amazing but service even more. Spa experience was excellent. And the breakfast was one of best we’ve had from any luxury hotels we’ve stayed at. We’ll come back here if in Marrakech.

Besonderes empfehlenswert das indische Restaurant - nicht nur wegen der authentischen Küche, sondern auch wegen der traumhaften Atmosphäre beim Abendessen unter freiem Himmel. Die Kombination aus aromatischen Gerichten und herrlicher Kulisse macht den Besuch zu einem echten Highlight.
Cons: Das Resort befindet sich außerhalb von Marrakesch, in einer eher abgeschiedenen Umgebung. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es keine Möglichkeit eigenständig Ausflüge zu unternehmen oder spontan außerhalb Essen zu gehen. Ein kostenloser Shuttlebus fährt täglich zur Mittagszeit ins Stadtzentrum von Marrakesch und kehrt um 17:00 Uhr zurück. Diese Zeiten sind nicht ideal wenn man ausgedehnte Unternehmungen oder ein Abendessen plant.

The architecture of the courtyard is stunning. You see a lot of great Moroccan architecture in the old city and the courtyard just brings you back there - but uber luxury style. One of the best hotels we have stayed at -beautiful setting , incredible design , very spacious . Not only that but the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff was incredibly good. Our room - Deluxe Villa with pool was one of the best we have stayed in - pool was excellent - big enough for swimming and a beautiful garden setting for relaxing. Grounds were beautifully kept and enjoyable for walking around- especially to see the rescue donkeys! Even managed a game of Petangue ! Spa was very spacious with a sizeable indoor pool and the treatments were excellent. Reception were always freindly and helpful and the WhatsApp messaging system worked well. Concierge desk organised some trips for us which were most enjoyable. We used all three restaurants and all were excellent .We lunched most days at Azure enjoying beautiful salads .Dinners at Rivayat were excellent and we enjoyed the " tasting " menu with paired wine flights which were all well chosen .We loved the outdoor setting at Tamint - the views were mesmerising and the food was excellent but just the slightest criticism of the choices available- staying eight days , we had no menu changes although we were able to pre-order some dishes which were specially made. Thoroughly enjoyed the suggested Moroccan wines which were a very high standard. Staff in all three restaurants were so friendly and efficient and clearly gave the impression that they wanted you to enjoy yourselves. We will certainly return, wanting to explore the Atlas Mountains and more of Marrakech and might come at a slightly cooler time of the year as the temperatures did rise up to the mid forties.

The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious. The staff were not only helpful (they insisted to take my plate to my table for me while I continued to browse the selection) they informed us of and offered us local specialities including a local nut spread, tea, coffee and local breakfast breads. We were celebrating my birthday and they upgraded us to a villa with a private pool decorated with rose petals, balloons and gifts. So many gifts! The set menu at the indian restuarant was a culinary experience with lovely staff and beautiful (and tasty) food offerings. Additionally we booked a hammam experience at the spa. I’ve been fortunate to have stayed at many premium hotels, and the Oberoi Marrakech truly stands out among the best for its genuine hospitality. Oberoi have created a beautiful, spacious & modern resort with lovely historic touches - the attention to detail in architecture of the main building a highlight. The grounds are sprawling with several enjoyable shaded pathways to explore. Aside from indoor and outdoor pools, there’s also a spa, a gym and a tennis court. The service was excellent. From the warm welcome, the orientation of the hotel, and the countless staff who remembered my name after just one interaction. Managers were very hands on, always present and showed genuine warmth. Even the gardener discreetly moved aside when he noticed I was taking a photo of the grand canal - so thoughtful. The Deluxe Villa with private pool was spacious, beautifully appointed and modern whilst retaining charming Moroccoan features. Housekeeping was excellent, but I did find one habit detracted a little from allowing me to feel more at home: each day, the villa was reset as though for new guests - informational signs placed back into prominent positions, rearranged toiletries, repositioned chairs. Relaxing at the pool was very enjoyable, with loungers, day beds, and hammocks to choose from. One minor suggestion would be for the staff to check in more frequently - at best only two visits in six hours. Breakfast offered both buffet and à la carte options. I’d highly recommend the shakshouka. Lunch at Azur was enjoyable, and I appreciated how allergy-friendly all the menus were throughout the property, as well as many common dietary requirements catered for by default. Dinner at Rivayat was exceptional. The tasting menu with wine pairings, the beautiful setting, and the fantastic DJ (Fri night) made for a memorable evening. Dinner at the other restaurant, Tamimt, was great - lighter fare but full of flavour. The vegetable tagine and pannacotta were tasty, and the live music (Sat night) and outdoor setting making for a very enjoyable evening. My massage at the spa was very good. A minor suggestion would be for the kettle to be moved away from the relaxation area - its slow boil distracts from an otherwise serene space after the treatment. On a final note, I visited in July and the resort was very quiet. If you’re after a buzzier atmosphere, you might prefer a livelier season. The resort’s peaceful location is part of its charm and I found a 4-night stay the perfect duration, followed by a 3-night stay in the centre of Marrakech to take in the main sights and atmosphere of the city.

The stay at The Oberoi, Marrakech was amazing, lived up to and beyond to our expectations. From the moment we entered the property to the moment we checked out, we were treated like family. Personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. They were always attentive, checking in discreetly to ensure that every aspect of our stay was as comfortable as possible. We visited Marrakech to celebrate my wife's birthday and it had been flawless. Our rooms were decorated, cakes and champagnes gifted. She was very happy. And therefore, a special shout out to the housekeeping team, who went above and beyond to take care of our needs. The only -ve point I have is that the price of the drinks - they are overly priced. Our stay was an experience, one that sets the benchmark for luxury and hospitality. We will be returning soon.

The staff were not only helpful (they insisted to take my plate to my table for me while I continued to browse the selection) they informed us of and offered us local specialities including a local nut spread, tea, coffee and local breakfast breads. We were celebrating my birthday and they upgraded us to a villa with a private pool decorated with rose petals, balloons and gifts. So many gifts! The set menu at the indian restuarant was a culinary experience with lovely staff and beautiful (and tasty) food offerings. Additionally we booked a hammam experience at the spa. We have been traveling for the last month and our 3 night stay at the Oberoi has definitely been the highlight of our trip… It is low season at the moment in Marrakesh because of the heat, we booked a normal room for our stay but got automatically upgraded to a Villa with a private pool and were offered a complimentary airport pickup and drop-off to and from the hotel to the airport. Staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly, we will definitely be back.

This is the most beautiful hotel -- in a quiet and elegant way -- in which I have ever stayed. The grounds are truly worthy of a palace. The food, staff, spa, and accommodations are all of world-class quality. Perhaps our most enjoyable hotel stay anywhere in the world. Ideal romantic escape for couples, but also friendly for families. We would recommend it for anything from a honeymoon to travel with children (there are separate play areas to keep them busy!). If you come to Marrakech, and can afford it, make this your headquarters -- this is as good as it gets.

Certainly one of the best hotels in which I've ever had the privilege to stay. The architecture is a breathtaking pastiche of the 16th C Ben Youssef Madrasa, and it's a true pleasure to be in a building of such exceptional craftsmanship. Every single member of staff I met - from the moment I stepped out the cab upon arrival to the moment I got back in the cab to leave - were utterly charming; they were friendly, able to inform me of the history of the building and also of Morocco, and generally expressed a sincere desire to make me feel welcome, regularly checking in with me to ensure I wasn't needing anything. The villa was gorgeous and stylish, with a private pool and lots of vegetation / privacy which was very pleasant to catch quiet afternoon sun. In general, the landscaping is stunning; very well-maintained, clean - and the home to a variety of medical and edible plants and vegetation! The room was tended to a few times a day to ensure the mini bar, fresh fruit etc were available. I was even able to call concierge who brought some carrots to my room - so that I could walk to the fields with donkey's to feed them which is cute ! I didn't use the gym, but the main pool is a good size (30m) to swim lengths, and also a nice place to cool down in the July heat. I enjoyed drinks in the bar, with which they serve the most delicious drinks biscuits (!) and olives from their orchard. (the olives are also extra tasty) I also did have beer - Casablanca - at the pool, but couldn't believe the price (only realised after about 5 - oops) Dinner was delicious in both restaurants. My main course was delayed in the Indian restaurant by perhaps 5 mins, (which didn't bother me at all - and the butter chicken was certainly worth the wait) however as a result, I wasn't charged for my wine which was a kind gesture. Overall, an incredible place. I have been to Marrakech before and stayed in Hivernage and also the Medina, however I really like the location of The Oberoi, knowing that you can dip into the hustle and bustle of Guiliz / Medina etc, but then return to the serenity of The Oberoi. 10/10. Thank you !!

From the moment you arrive at this quite stunningly beautiful hotel, about 25 minutes taxi ride (the hotel has a limo service) from the airport, you can not be anything but blown away by the stunning attention to detail in every respect-backed up by the most caring attentive members of staff who never appear to stop telling you what a pleasure it is to attend to any and every request.

Honestly such a lovely and pure luxury experience. All the staff were top notch and exceptionally friendly. We stayed for only 2 days but wish we could’ve stayed longer. I gave the hotel a 5 star because I genuinely enjoyed my stay. However they could improve in one thing, which is the lighting outside in the evening can be a little brighter, I felt it got dark outside in the evenings. Apart from that awesome hotel!

It would be impossible to pick out all the amazing people who looked after us but Adnane on the front desk was the most helpful person ever and the concierge desk could not do more for us. As a long term client of the Oberoi group I knew to expect the very best but this visit exceeded our very high expectations. Would not even consider staying anywhere else in Marrakech.

The Manager is also very welcoming ensuring you are happy during your stay and interacting with guests on a regular basis . The setting is beautiful the decor and attention to detail embraces the true Moroccan aesthetic style . We ate in both restaurants the food choice and standards were both excellent.We would definitely return to the hotel all the staff were so warm and friendly particular mention to Adil who looked after us very well in the restaurant and also organised a birthday surprise for my partner, Zachariah at breakfast time and Mohammed who was skilled in his cocktail mixing . Incredible architecture, design and facilities. But most crucially it is the hotel staffs’ meticulous attention to details that really made the difference. The team went above and beyond on taking care of guests with a personal touch, at all times. We have stayed in many nice hotels around the world but not a single one comes close to the Oberoi. Special mention to staff members: Managers: Rohan, Shobhit, Adnane. They made sure every aspect of our stay ran smoothly and always checked in if we were well looked after. Restaurant staff: Ayoub, Adam, Karima, Oumaima and Adil. Always greeted us with a huge smile and offered a lot of cultural/historical background of the Moroccan dishes we ordered. This in addition to the already impeccable service hugely enhanced our dining experience. I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all the hotel staff and I hope this review will result in the recognition they fully deserve.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Marrakech must visit! Everything was perfect: spacious rooms with attention to every detail, even for kids. They had child-sized bathrobes, slippers, a kids club, and a fun donkey ride with the famous Sugar and Brownie. The welcome was exceptional, with all staff greeting us warmly and gifting the kids small donkeys. The hotel manager, Mr. Raghun, personally checked in daily to ensure everything was perfect. Special thanks to Rizk at breakfast for his kindness, and to Essam and Mohsen, the friendly golf car drivers who made getting around so easy. The staff overall were incredibly warm and helpful. The Michelin-starred Indian restaurant was amazing, and the room A/C was so good we forgot how hot it was outside. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely return!

This is a really beautiful property. The central courtyard, inspired by the Madrasah Ben Youssef, is stunning, and the gardens are vast and peaceful. The villas are spacious and private, with their own pools—everything feels well thought out. What stood out most was the service. The staff genuinely go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. They often anticipate what you need before you even ask, and it never feels forced or scripted. I’ve stayed at a number of luxury hotels, but this level of service was on a different level. If I had to give any feedback, it would be about the food. Most of it was very good, but there were a couple of times when it was just okay. I also noticed some inconsistency—ordering the same dish on two different days didn’t always taste the same. That said, the Indian restaurant Rivayat was excellent every time. The manager and staff there really made the experience special. All in all, a fantastic stay. I’d absolutely return and would love to explore more Oberoi properties after this.

They checked frequently throughout the day to see if we needed anything. Booking the villa with the private pool is worth it. The food at the hotel was very good. The spa was amazing. It is outside the main city area which was nice as it provided some privacy and relaxation.

From the moment we arrived until the day we sadly had to leave the service and attentiveness of all the staff was fabulous. This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed at the Oberoi as a result of seeing the beautiful social media posts and reading the amazing reviews. Did it live up to expectation? It was actually better! From being picked up at the airport by a really polite driver, through to the really genuine welcome to the hotel, it was a taste of what was to come. Our room was luxurious and cleaned perfectly every day. The views were unreal and the little details and extras from the staff made the stay brilliant. Staying 30 minutes outside the city gave us time to relax and recharge after chaotic days within Marrakech. Our food was always superb and the waiters were knowledgable, friendly and always happy to help. When asked if there was anything that they could improve, we honestly couldn't think of anything. AMAZING!

Sans oublier la balade en calèche à l’intérieur de l’établissement, une belle surprise ! - La chambre était spacieuse, très propre, avec une magnifique piscine privée sans vis-à-vis. Le service d’étage a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour des plus reposants. Un immense merci au manager, toujours aux petits soins, ainsi qu’à tout le personnel pour leur accueil. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Nous avons vécu un moment hors du temps qui nous a permis de nous ressourcer comme jamais auparavant. I experienced much more than my expectations and true hospitality with heart. For their very special arrangements I could start my living with 3 cats in Marrakech from an extraordinary property and people working there. I felt me with my cats were protected by them.

What a luxurious way to spend our first few days in Morocco! Our room was beautiful and spacious, and the staff were quick to help with everything we needed. We appreciated the seamless airport pickup, and that they helped arrange a tour of the Medina for us. They were especially accommodating to the kids too - the kids felt like royalty! We would love to stay at The Oberoi again.

The stunning and immaculate building and grounds. The sumptuous and spacious room. The staff were amazing & very attentive. The food was delicious. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. It’s the full luxury experience from beginning to end.
Cons: Nothing. I guess if I was hyper critical it was the inability to book the Michelin star restaurant due to Ramadan for a different location / experience within the hotel. We need to come back and try this one next time 😉

It is quite overwhelming to try to explain why The Oberoi Marrakech is perfection, and is quite possibly the best in the world. My wife and I have been lucky enough to stay in some of the world’s best hotels, but this was our first Oberoi experience. It will not be our last. I should explain that our requirements were quite precise. My wife has had a year of illness and is recovering from quite major surgery. We wanted somewhere warm, but not a long haul flight from the UK. We wanted somewhere luxurious, with enough excellent restaurants that we did not have to leave the hotel. We wanted somewhere that did not require climbing stairs. We wanted excellent service. Oh, and we wanted a private pool. It took quite a lot of research to find The Oberoi, but the research was worth it. Let me start with the building and the architecture. It is absolutely spectacular, and the quality of the building is incredible, with stunning marble. You could take photographs all day. Our villa was astonishing. It was huge, but not intimidating. The ceilings must have been 25 feet high, so the sense of space is truly majestic. The bathroom and dressing room are perfect. The bed and bedding were perfection, and we both slept wonderfully well. Our terrace must be 20 metres long. The beautiful pool is 15 metres, and you can genuinely swim. Breakfast on the terrace, looking at the Atlas Mountains is unforgettable. Lunch in Azur, beside the pool, is delicious, with a sufficiently varied menu, so you can try something new every day, even though we lunched there every day. Dinner is either Moroccan in Tamimt, or Indian in Rivayat. Again, the variety in the menu is generous, and cooking is superb in both. We both thought that Rivayat produced the best Indian food we had ever tasted. What really sets Oberoi apart from any other hotel experience is the staff. Service throughout the hotel is personal and totally charming. It is never obsequious, but the attention to detail is astonishing. They knew our favourite dishes, knew which wines we liked, my wife’s favourite nos-nos coffee, and the restaurant manager knew that my wife had been slightly disappointed by her massage the previous evening. Incredible focus on the guest experience. It is probably invidious to single out individuals in such a wonderful team, but we thought El Habib was the most perfect manager that we have met in the last thirty years, and has a stellar future in hotel management. We were also hugely impressed by Taha and the divine Karima in Rivayat. The Spa is absolutely fantastic. My wife had one massage , which she declared to be the best she has ever had, and I had the best manicure I have ever had. In short, The Oberoi was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, and I cannot think of any way in which it could be improved. I know it has already won many accolades, but I am pretty certain that The Oberoi Marrakech must be in the top ten hotels of the world, and may even be the best if you have specific requirements like ours.

The hotel is magical and the attention to detail spectacular. The building is stunning and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It really was perfect! We had a deluxe villa with private pool which was big enough to swim in - not just a plunge pool. The grounds were extensive and it was lovely to walk around it every day. The spa was excellent and the massage was spot on.

We have just returned from a 6 day trip to Marrakesh and we were lucky enough to have booked the Oberoi for our stay. As a travelling family of 5 we were taking the trip to celebrate an anniversary and my mother’s 75th birthday. In summary, Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Many other reviews have mentioned the quality of the property, being in a picturesque Olive garden, and the outstanding, understated luxury of the rooms and beautiful architecture of the main buildings. They were not wrong on this. Other reviews mention the outstanding quality of food. We ate in all of trestaurants, some a number of times and the Chef and his team does an amazing job. I could not fault any dish that was served. They were all excellent, with a special mention of the incredible Indian cuisine. Having travelled India extensively we can attest that it is second to none. The hotel is peaceful and tranquil (you would never tell that it was 90% capacity when we were there!), very conveniently located only a short shuttle or taxi from the medina, has an excellent kids club, huge main pool and other activities such as paddle and tennis. However, above all the excellence and grandeur by far the greatest achievement and memory you come away with is the amazing quality of the people who work there. Oberoi is generally outstanding but this resort is like Oberoi ++ when it comes to service and guest attentiveness. Always greeted with a smile and ‘hello’ from gardeners to waiters to room service. Nothing is too much trouble whether is arranging excursions, providing baby items we had run out of or making sure we celebrated properly with things like welcome flowers for my mother’s birthday. Absolutely out of this world and way above and beyond a ‘5 star’ experience. My mother felt she had not experienced such friendliness and thoughtful service in a long time.

This was our second time at The Oberoi Marrakech and we fell in love with it even more. The grounds are wonderful, the views of the Atlas mountains stunning and the food is amazing - the breakfast is on another level. The staff are incredibly kind and patient and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Particular mention must be made of Mahmoud Milad, (Director of Rooms) and his team. His service and attentiveness was unparalleled and we are currently finalising our reservation for next year, making it 3 years in a row.
