I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff truly made the experience exceptional—they are all incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. A special thank you to Stephanie, who was especially great and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and everything the city has to offer. They provide a snack/drink bar that is open everyday in the afternoon/evening which is especially helpful when traveling with kids that need to refuel during the day. Overall, this hotel offers great accommodations, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and outstanding service. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location and super friendly staff. Everything was either within walking distance or close enough to metro station. It was surrounded by incredibly delicious restaurants (especially if you love Asian food!) It was a 10 min walk to the Louvre and Musee D’Orsay and only 30 min walk to Notre Dame and Sistine Chapel. Room was extremely clean and spacious, but the main highlight is the complimentary snacks and drinks!

We always research before booking and we always book direct. Our research paid off again as this was a great hotel for the following reasons: 1. Staff - over the 4 days we met about 6 different members of staff all of whom nothing was too much trouble. From the reception staff suggesting restaurants to randomly finding us disposable cutlery to take with us for eating our cakes on the Eurostar to the lovely chap that greeted us for breakfast and got different yoghurts for us when the flavour we wanted wasn’t there. Housekeeping always smiled and said Bonjour!! 2. Location - we are walkers so this was perfect place everything within distance (max 40 min walk to Eiffel Tower, but most things within 10 -20 mins) on the day we were doing the Eiffel Tower it rained so we hopped on the metro which was really easy to use. 3. Afternoon snacks - in between walking and going out for the evening we sat in the lounge area and enjoyed the free soft drinks and snacks provided by the hotel. Nice touch to break up the day, chill and play some cards… 4. Option to use the facilities in the sister hotels - although we didn’t end up doing this as we always went back to our hotel it was nice to know the option was there. 5. Rooms - hotel rooms were immaculately clean, the soft drinks, robes and slippers were welcomed. Cleaned and refreshed everyday. 6. Atmosphere- the general feel and atmosphere was lovely and welcoming . Highly recommend this hotel!!!

We had a "privilege room" because our son was having a birthday while we were there that would make him too old to stay in a regular room with us. The room was a beautiful two-floor set-up with a staircase and a second bathroom. On top of the wonderful room and really great location (if you are there to see the major sights), the staff saw that it was my son's birthday and decorated the room with festive balloons and left treats for him. It was an amazing sight after our overnight flight and a great start to what ended up being a truly wonderful trip. My son now wants to live in Paris.

The rooms were quite spacious and very clean compared to typical Paris standards. Daily housekeeping was a big plus. Breakfast had a great variety and was very enjoyable. Being part of the Astotel group is a huge advantage — you can visit other affiliated hotels during the day, relax in their lobbies, enjoy snacks, and use their facilities. The location was perfect; we could walk everywhere and felt safe even in the evening. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Fabio and Hakan, thx :)

Hotel Malte - Astotel was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip! The hotel was very well decorated as well as incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and the free snack bar was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better location and would absolutely stay here again! Our room was very spacious with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The buffet style breakfast was also delicious and had a plethora of options with almost everything you could think of! I could not recommend this hotel enough!

I just finished a 3 night stay traveling solo. Everything was excellent. I really appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks all day. After doing my morning site seeing, I would swing by the hotel to get water and cappuccino after lunch, then head back out. For a solo travel, their smallest room was just fine but I advise upgrading if traveling with 2. As a guest of this Astotel property you also have access to their other properties which might be nice if you need gym access or fluids while out. Conveniently close to many attractions and restaurants.

This hotel is in an amazing location. It was close to all of the museums, food, and major attractions of Paris. My wife and I didn't have to take a single cab. The rooms were the perfect size for two people, they were clean and were stocked daily with coffee, water, and other drinks. The service team was in credible. We had a small issue on our first night with noise from fire doors slamming throughout the night, but the staff went above and beyond to make things right and everyone that we interacted with on the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this as a great value if you are visiting Paris as a tourist and want to be close to the action.

The location was great, walking distance from everything we wanted to do. The room was great and the front desk upgraded us as well as got us an early check in. Everyone was kind and spoke English which was helpful for us, we don’t speak much French. Overall such a nice stay, seemed like a fair price and we really felt so welcomed for our first trip to France.

Malte Astotel is exceptional From check in to check out their aim is to please and make their guests happy. I checked in early but the room was not ready yet. They gave me free breakfast and had the room ready after I finished eating. They welcomed me with a bottle of wine and macaroons. The receptionist were nice and efficient. Always went the extra mile. Location is very convenient. Great facilities. I would go back to this hotel.

My 11-year-old daughter and I stayed here for a week. We booked one of the two-level rooms with two beds and two baths on separate levels. It was perfect! Plenty of space, and the space was beautiful. Artwork. Chandelier. Clean. It was my daughter's birthday, and the hotel staff decorated the room with balloons! The lobby area was so nice, with so many delicious treats on hand at all times. And we used access to another Astotel in the city during the day to take a quick break and get a snack. The hotel staff were welcoming and professional. We booked this hotel based upon the great Tripadvisor reviews, so we had high expectations. Our expectations were exceeded.

The Malte Hotel surpassed my expectations. The location was perfect for easy access to the Louvre and multiple Metro stations. The local neighborhood offers great dining options both casual and more upscale. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and the all day snacks is a bonus. What an amazing hotel. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by Fabio. He explained everything we needed to know about our stay, and gave us as map to us whilst we explored the city. He gave us directions on how to head straight to The Eiffel Tower by Metro too. We even struck up a conversation about Sporting Lisbon vs Middlesbrough from 2005! My wife said that football fans always seem to find a way to sneak the topic into a conversation. We we're celebrating my wife's 50th birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond to provide us with a welcome gift. That was very much appreciated. We booked a Superior room, and it was just fantastic. Very spacious, comfortable bed, minibar, and the room was very quiet considering we were in a very busy capital city. Breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day ahead, and the afternoon/evening snacks that were provided were a nice treat after a busy day sightseeing. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Malte, and we loved Paris. When we next decided to visit we'll definitely stay here, and we'll recommend the hotel to anyone that we know is planning on visiting Paris. We'll hopefully see you soon, Fabio. Up The Boro (and Sporting too).

Loved Paris and our Stay at Hotel Malte Astotel This is a perfect hotel to be immersed in a Parisian neighborhood of today. It was a spectacular location if you are a walker with easy access to major sites as well as other neighborhoods worth visiting and spending time in. The hotel was super clean, the staff lovely and accommodating. I would most definitely stay again. We got upgraded to a duplex making the room beyond spacious and comfortable. It was lovely and delightful.

We stayed at Hotel Malte for three nights and loved it. We came to celebrate an 80th birthday and found this hotel less expensive than a VRBO. It was very clean and comfortable but most importantly the staff were so kind and supportive. They were friendly and offered ideas before being asked and when asked they went above and beyond to find the answer. We had the breakfast one day which was delicious. It was varied and included hot and cold items. My favorite was the French cheese, bread and pastries. I highly recommend this hotel.

We booked our room for 4 nights in Paris. Upon check-in we were happy to learn we were upgraded and the staff was very friendly and provided local advice and paper maps. They showed us a great view point for the Eiffel Tower with fewer crowds, and we were only a few blocks to the Louve. All the drinks in the mini bar are included and refilled each day. Breakfast was good with lots of options, the staff made sure we were aware of anything going on near the hotel as well as some sidewalk maintenance that happened during our stay. I loved that they have multiple hotels in the city and as a guest you can stop at all their locations to go to the bathroom or get a free snack/drink. We will be staying at this hotel again

I’ve stayed 6 days in Malte Astotel in Feb 2026 and had an awesome experience. Check in was fast and friendly. Daily breakfast was great with excellent variety and food quality. there’s also a coffee machine , tea , snacks and croissants available during all day. Location is great, in center of Paris but the highlight is the outstanding service level from the staff and employees; my special thanks to Gabriel and Brenda (Portuguese speaker) who were always kindness available for everything . Definitely will stay here in my next time in Paris.

Just returned from a girls trip to Paris and we stayed at the lovely Hôtel Malte in the 2nd arr. This was my 2nd time staying at this property and I will stay there again and again and again. The staff is fantastic - very attentive, kind, and helpful. The location is great with walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, shops, & metro stop. The facility is super updated and clean. Breakfast was tasty & plentiful. I can’t say enough. I will definitely be telling my friends about this gem. Merci beaucoup, Hôtel Malte! Can’t wait to return!

Our stay was simply wonderful. From the very first moment, the highly attentive and service-oriented staff welcomed us with warm, inviting smiles. They consistently created a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere that truly felt like a home away from home. The room itself was exceptionally clean and cozy. Following a horrible experience with a Vrbo rental, Hôtel Malte - Astotel was able to take us for three nights on a day's notice. It's a lovely small hotel in the beautiful le Marais area of central Paris. Our room was ideal with a comfortable queen bed, well-appointed bathroom, minibar with water, juice and pop, a Nespresso machine, two chairs and a small desk, USB ports for charging devices. My wife appreciated the good quality blow dryer provided. The only nice-to-have that was missing was an iron or steamer to deal with wrinkles from packing clothing. Literally minutes walk from the Louvre and Palais Royal. An easy stroll to the Seine, Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Musée d'Orsay, Montmartre and more, and a quick metro or Uber to the Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse and other landmarks and arrondissements. And the hotel is steps away from delicious bakeries, coffee shops, pharmacies and markets, and abundant dining options. As an added bonus, guests can pop into any of Astotel's 16 other central Paris locations for a snack, water or to use the facilities any time. Lastly, every member of the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. At a reasonable price for a great location and excellent service, we'll definitely stay with Astotel again!

It cannot be overstated just how welcoming the staff of this hotel are. From arrival to departure they simply cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. The team are clearly very proud to work here. Our room was gorgeous - an unexpected upgrade we were delighted with. The rooms are clean, attractive & very comfortable. The complimentary minibar is well stocked with soft drinks & water. The Hotel hosts a very generous free goodies afternoon on the foyer everyday which reinforces customer comfort. Fantastic, central location , what's not to like.

I loved everything about this hotel. The location was wonderful, the breakfast was big and varied, and you could get tea, cappuccino, and unlimited chocolate and cookies at any time. The room was clean and comfortable, there were two bathrooms, and the staff was very helpful. Thank you so much for creating such a cozy atmosphere.
Cons: weak water pressure on the lower level, but there is always an extra bathroom on the upper level.

Un accueil chaleureux, très aimable, comme rarement alors que je passe plusieurs nuits par semaine dans différents hôtels. La chambre était au rez de chaussée, très calme, confortable, la literie est parfaite et la salle de bain très bien équipée. Mini bar gratuit, large écran télé... Une belle expérience. J'ai noté aussi que le réceptionniste à mon départ fut amical et là encre d'une politesse rare. Un grand merci pour cette expérience apaisante.

Great location, close to the Louvre, and several metro stations. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and seemed large for city centre. You do need to be aware that only food provided (except for snacks), is breakfast- no lunch or dinner options at the hotel- but there are lots of places close by to eat.

We stayed here with my younger sister in a wheelchair. The staff at the front desk were all wonderful! In particular Fabio, who talked us through where to go for all of our plans & gave us advice on how to travel around the city with a wheelchair! The room was slightly too small for three people with a wheelchair, but was fine for us as my sister can walk short distances. I think the room would be absolutely fine for 2 people with a wheelchair! The bathroom was completely wheelchair accessible, including a shower chair that could be easily removed or placed in the shower. Overall this place was fantastic & would definitely recommend. The decor & amenities offered by the hotel are also wonderful! It is a 10 minute walk to the Louvre & has loads of cafes & restaurants nearby so the location is also fab!

Stayed for 5 nights 13-18 Jan 2026. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful - really great. Room was fine - large for Paris (we were upgraded) and room cleaning was ok. Some staff noise in the morning but not a big deal. Room in general and hotel were very quiet. Very comfortable beds. Good choice at breakfast, and the complementary afternoon/evening tea laid out was good. Well located for Louvre direction. We'd happily stay again

We had a great stay! We arrived early, tired from our flight and were treated very kindly and were able to check in a bit early! We so appreciated that. All the staff at the desk were very helpful, helping us find places we were looking for and going out of their way to help! The room was comfortable and well stocked. Breakfast was good, plenty of room to sit and enjoy. Our favorite thing was their “open bar” food station all afternoon AND you could go to any of the affiliate hotel lobbies if you were walking around. So nice! We choose this area since it was a quick walk to the Louvre. Perfect spot! Highly recommended!

The location was ideal, walking distance to the Louvre, Muse'e d' Orsay, Opera house, Hop on Bus tour, metro and bus stops. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful with directions, welcoming, accommodating and clean updated rooms. Complimentary Coffee/hot chocolate/cold drinks/fruit/nut/ and snack bar available from 2pm until late at night was such a nice surprise for an energy boost between adventures!

Lovely, cozy, cute hotel located on a quiet street in an absolutely central location for tourism. We were only in town for 3 days, and the wonderful location of this hotel made it easy to accomplish our plans for the trip. The room was quiet, comfortable, cozy and clean. The staff was above and beyond friendly and accommodating! Their recommendation for a local restaurant was great, and much appreciated, and their caring and kind responses for all our questions and requests made us feel like we were staying with friends. The breakfast buffet was delicious and provided a wide variety, including gluten free options (to my great surprise and delight). The common area is welcoming and quirky-pretty, pleasant to hang out and rest and have a refreshment. I have stayed at this location 6 years ago, and can't wait to visit again!

My family and I decided to start our NEW YEAR in the city of love Paris. We saw great reviews about Hotel Malte because of its location and access to all the great sites. Our check-in was very rough because Brenda who's in training didn’t speak good English and was very aggressive with her vocabulary, we could tell from the jump that she's not a native English speaker considering she has an English flag near her name but anyway, we were able to get through our check-in with her. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Noted we booked breakfast with our reservation, but Brenda, the trainer, told us we don’t have it, and for two days we stayed without breakfast. Later on in our stay at the hotel, we were welcomed by Heidi, another person in training, whose English is amazing because she’s an actual native English speaker, which was so cool and refreshing. She was kind enough to re-explain everything to my family and me with better manners and vocabulary 🤗. Heidi’s daily welcome gestures and kind compliments really made us feel at home. Thank you Heidi for your kind and welcoming hospitality. We will definitely be revisiting this summer.

Polite, helpful, friendly, warm and incredibly personable. Fabio and the two females in training at the front desk exceed standards. 15 min taxi from Gare de l'Est. Looking out the windows every morning towards the Louvre was a delight to see the energetic streets of Paris, even when snowing. The lobby was warm and clean, spacious and ample comfortable seating arrangements. The snack spread was complimentary and always well stocked with assorted beverages, coffee options, snacks and treats. For the price of the room the hospitality, value of location and comfort was unmatched. The price I paid per night was so inexpensive for the overall experience in return. By comparison, I paid over 300 usd for 1 night at Marriott in central Budapest on the same European trip and feel so cheated.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel! All staff were very warm and kind, making sure our stay was great, including one who gave me a recommendation for a delicious local restaurant nearby (on Christmas Eve nonetheless). The included and high-quality snacks and minibar were a great touch, and I received multiple handwritten notes and snacks from housekeeping staff in my room, like tasty macarons. Rooms are a standard size for Paris and very comfortable and spotless. In the winter the room got a little warm for my (American) taste, but nothing that opening the window can't fix. Excellent location that was within walking distance to many attractions and metro stations, but still quiet with local restaurants and shops nearby. I can't recommend this hotel enough and would definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Paris!

Great location near the Louvre in a very quiet and safe area. The rooms are medium-sized and well maintained, with a spotless bathroom. The staff at both the reception and breakfast area were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The front desk women were amazing. Booking.com double booked us for two rooms in the middle of Fashion Week. They released the second booking and re-sold it when they clearly could have double charged us for it. Ethically, it’s such a great reflection on the staff and management. Your location cannot be beat and it is one block away from two different Pilates Studios. They have all day complimentary snacks and drinks for guests, which I’ve never seen in a Parisian hotel. The room was small and we could barely fit our luggage, but this is Paris.

We stayed for five days at the end of December and had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding—every staff member was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed in Paris. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are charming and clean. The hotel’s location is excellent, just steps from the Louvre Museum, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel without hesitation—110%.

Special thanks to Walid! When I first arrived in Paris, I developed a fever in the evening due to travel exhaustion. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring any medication, and most pharmacies close at 10:00 pm. Walid patiently called several pharmacies one by one to check for availability, and thanks to his help, I was able to buy the medicine I needed. This allowed me to recover and continue my trip smoothly the next day. Walid truly deserves a five-star review!

Location was extremely convenient. Close to everything. Short metro rides make it easy to hit all the important areas. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Our room was beautiful! We got the duplex for the kids. Temperatures got a little warmer upstairs, so the staff at the hotel provided us with standing rotation fans. (I found out that AC only gets used in summer). Kids slept better with some white noise going. Beds were very comfortable and sheets were changed everyday. The only issue I had was that I needed more room downstairs for clothes (like cabinets/dressers ect). There were a few shelves but not enough room for a full unpacking. All in all, hotel was beautiful and staff was exceptional! For our first time in Paris, we will definitely stay here again. Merci Beaucoup!

The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable as well. The place is an excellent choice for staying in Paris thanks to its prime location close to the Royal Palace, the Louvre, and the Opera, with most attractions within walking distance and several nearby metro lines. The neighborhood offers a good selection of restaurants, and even though Rue de Richelieu is under construction, there is no noticeable inconvenience. The hotel provides complete services, including a varied breakfast and drinks and snacks available throughout the day. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet, overlooking an inner courtyard, with complimentary small bottles of water always available. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and provide impeccable service, making the overall stay very pleasant, with only a minor note that the lobby feels a bit outdated, which does not detract from the excellent experience.

Good beds, pillows, etc. Watch your head if you get an upper room as the ceiling angles down and is very low by the window. Great location, near Louvre and other sites. Great breakfast. But it's the staff that really makes it. They are so very helpful and accommodating.

I would definately recommend this hotel for families. we stayed in a room with a split level and two beds. We stayed in the exact room a year ago, and loved it. the location is excellent, close to the louvre, great bakeries and delis and restaurants and the service was fantastic. We were offered an early checkin, and 2 for 1 breakfast and free macaroons as a welcome gift. the breakfast is excellent, and the free hot chocolate and pastries plus the free mini bar is all excellent value. we love this place and will return.

My family and I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in the very center of Paris. The room was a highlight—it was spotlessly clean and remarkably spacious, which is a rare find in central Paris, especially when traveling with two children. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always greeting us with a warm smile and ready to assist. The delicious breakfast offered a great start to our day, and the complimentary mini-bar in the room was a generous and appreciated touch. Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, so we were delighted to find a dedicated children's play area in the hotel lobby. This made our downtime at the hotel much more relaxing. The location is the hotel's biggest asset. It allowed us to walk to all the major tourist attractions, department stores, and fantastic restaurants effortlessly. It truly puts the best of Paris right on your doorstep. The overall experience was highly satisfying. The only minor point of inconvenience was that the street directly in front of the hotel entrance was undergoing construction during our stay, which made passing through slightly difficult at times. However, this is certainly a temporary issue and did not detract significantly from our overall positive experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris, especially families!

The staff are helpful and friendly, it is clean - thank you to the cleaning staff - and comfortable, the location is great and within walking or easy public transport links to many places we like to go to. París es conocido porque los hoteles tienen habitaciones muy pequeñas pero estas no se sentían tan así; si bien es cierto no eran enormes, eran lo suficientemente espaciosas como para sentirte cómodo para abrir tus maletas y encontrarle lugar a tus artículos personales. El desayuno estaba delicioso, París fue nuestra segunda parada del Eurotrip y pasamos recordando el huevito revuelto de aquí todo el resto del viaje jajaja la panadería igual, buenísima. El personal fue super super amable. Cuando llegamos estaban haciendo algunas reparaciones en la calle del frente y salieron a abrirnos la puerta, cargar nuestras maletas y lo mismo al irnos. Adicional de que nos avisaron con tiempo de estas reparaciones para que supieramos qué hacer al llegar. Todo estuvo super en este hotel, 100% regresaríamos.
Cons: La verdad es que todo estuvo muy bien. Entraron todos los días a hacer limpieza y nunca se nos perdió nada, nunca hubo algo lastimado, todo estuvo excelente.

The location is phenomenal - very central for the typical tourist activities but also to go to areas like Le Marais. The breakfast in the lobby and afternoon snacks are high quality. A wonderful, child-friendly hotel. The room's minibar is refilled daily. Breakfast is both sufficient and delicious. Free drinks and snacks are available in the lobby all day. The reception staff are incredibly helpful. We'd especially like to thank Mr. Fabio and Mr. Hakan.

Rooms are exactly as they are advertised, I would recommend you book the superior rooms as they are bigger than the standard rooms, pay a little more it’s worth it. All the people at the reception were very friendly and helpful. There was a marathon on 16th November and the roads were closed which meant taxis could not get close to the entrance. The team arranged for the taxi driver to come and trolley our luggage to where the taxi was parked. That made all the difference. Breakfast was nice with a lot of variety. They don’t have a restaurant for lunch or dinner but there are so many restaurants nearby. They have complimentary snacks from 2pm to 2am.

Wonderful hospitality and a delightful room. We chose a prestige room and the slightly higher rate was worth it for the extra space and appointments. The hotel is conveniently located to the Louvre, d’Orsay, and l’orangerie, and not a bad walk to Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle. The neighborhood has plenty of good restaurants. But the best part about the hotel is the staff, from the orientation for first-time visitors to Paris at check-in to the assistance at check-out, they were first rate.

The Malte Hotel is lovely. Very welcoming staff on reception. In fact all the staff, including cleaning, kitchen and maintenance staff, were really lovely. Our room was at the back of the hotel. It had a spacious bathroom and the bed was comfortable with very welcome daily fresh water in the in room fridge. Breakfasts were plentiful and full of choice. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the Opera and about 20 from the Louvre. The only downside was the fact that the road outside the hotel is being dug up and resurfaced which made it interesting for taxi drop off and pick up. However good progress was made during our stay so it should be completed very soon. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again if in Paris.

I stayed at the hotel with my friend for 3 nights and the staff were super friendly and helpful (Emelyne, Manon & Gabrielle). The room was clean and we were very grateful for the upgrade. We paid 1 morning for the breakfast and it was wonderful. The concept of being able to visit other hotels in the chain (Astotel) for a coffee / snack / toilet break was absolutely brilliant!

Highly recommend this well-located, friendly hotel in Paris! We stayed for a week in October plus 1 more night after traveling to other parts of France. The staff were consistently attentive and helpful, both rooms were very clean and thoughtfully appointed, and we appreciated the free water/soft drinks in our room as well as the always available tea/coffee/water and snacks in the lobby lounge. Our first room was on the 6th floor and while not big by American standards, there was more than enough room for everything and it was particularly quiet as it faced an inner courtyard. We were upgraded (thank you!) for our second stay and enjoyed the more spacious room. Breakfast was good - a standard self-service buffet - and had more than enough options. We really thought this was the ideal location for exploring Paris as it was an easy walk to restaurants, the Louvre, and several metro lines.

My son and I visited the Hotel Malte Astotel for a short break in late October and were very impressed. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring central Paris, being within walking distance of key locations such as the Louvre and Notre Dame. Our room was small but clean and well equipped. There was even a complimentary minibar that was restocked each day with water and soft drinks, as well as the usual tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of choices, and the atmosphere was super relaxed. After a long day of exploring we also enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks available in the restaurant area. Finally, all the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all it was an excellent base for exploring Paris and we’d happily return.

The location is one of the best in my opinion. Surrounded by popular tourist spots, 15 minutes to the Opera. And Le Bon Marche is a 32-minute walk away. In front of the hotel, as in many places in the center of Paris now, there are renovations going on, they are repaving the paving slabs on the road. I had a room on the 3rd floor with windows facing the street in front of the hotel. I didn't have any particular inconveniences. The window insulation is good, and work started after 8:00 in the morning. By that time, we were already installing the furniture. The room was an ordinary standard, there was enough space for my daughter and me, our suitcases were small. The space is well organized, there are plenty of hangers, and sockets near the bed. There is no coffee machine, but there is a kettle. The hairdryer blows well. I would remove the bathtubs from the rooms, they are narrow and take up a lot of space. A shower stall is more appropriate, in my opinion. The breakfast is sufficient; if you are not picky, you can eat well in the morning. A great idea – you can always have tea or coffee with a pastry after 2:00 PM at any hotel in the chain, absolutely free. The room was cleaned well, every day. On the day of arrival, there was a postcard and a set of macarons on the bed, which was very nice. The onion soup at «Procope» in the Latin Quarter is very good. Carette is expensive and not very tasty.» Immersion Vendôme « has excellent breakfasts.

My partner and I were in Paris for an art/sightseeing trip for five days, and needed a hotel that could be centrally located to major arts institutions. We would be walking a lot, so location and vibrancy of the neighborhood was important. At the same time, we wanted an affordable but elegant hotel with great amenities. We found all of this at Hotel Malte, in the 2nd arrondissement, comfortable, excellent rooms, and a quaintness that belied the central Parisian bustle. Our quiet room facing the inner courtyard was a haven at the end of the day, the breakfast buffet a pleasure to wake up to in the mornings, and enjoy it in the well decorated and comfortable dining room. In particular the staff, led by Irene who we interacted with at the front desk, was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful and personable. I would happily recommend Hotel Malte to any visiting Paris for a few days to a week.

The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of great restaurants that stay open late. This hotel is truly a gem in Paris. There're plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The metro is a 5 minute walk away. Rooms are immaculate. We loved the hospitality and flexibility of the hotel staff. The first room we got was in a very quiet location, but it didn’t have carpet—which I really enjoy in hotel rooms. The next morning, I asked if there was a room available with carpet. There was one next to the elevator. Since it wasn’t as quiet, they kindly showed us the room beforehand. Carpet won, and despite a bit of morning noise, I absolutely loved my new room. We also took the opportunity to visit other Astohotel properties, and I think this is what makes them so unique: we were welcomed everywhere with such warmth, and every hotel left a really good impression. Malte Hotel’s breakfast was excellent—I enjoyed it so much!
Cons: breakfast cooking smells came into the room and woke me up. The rooms are not that soundproof, but if you have a room facing the inner court, then no noise, except from the corridors

First time to Paris, and of course I looked and hundreds of options all over the city, from 5 star Hotels to AirBnb, and many boutique hotels. Service exceeded my expectations, room was clean and large (I opted for the larger room upon hearing Paris hotel rooms were very tiny compared to US standards). I also chose the breakfast option which was well worth it compared to finding a breakfast place each morning and spending the same or more money for less options. Hotel was safe, quiet and best of all was in the best location! Few blocks from the Louve and Seine, many great restaurants within blocks (French, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, etc.), 25 minute walk east through wonderful streets to Marais, and about 50 minutes west to the Arc and another 25 min south to Eiffel from there. Never took public transit, walked about 17k steps average per day. Location, service and cleanliness - if those are important then this is a great choice.

We were staying 5 nights in the hotel and I find it to be an excellent hotel for our Paris visit. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was excellent they even went way and beyond making sure every morning we get special cheese to avoid an allergy. The hotel is located in area with a lot of Japanese restaurants and withing a walking distance from the Louver museum, Les Hales and the Tuileries gardens. 5-10 minutes walking distance to Metro stations and this was not bad taking into account that we like to explorer the city by foot

One of the coolest things about this hotel is that they have a snack bar open from 2 pm to 2 am so if you are hungry, there are snacks and drinks (non alcoholic). We loved the hotel because of the location and very friendly and helpful staff. It’s 10 min walk to the Louvre Museum and the Fayette Galleries. Rooms are small but clean. The mini fridge is always stocked up with different drinks and we loved the daily open bar they had from afternoon to the late evening. We would stay there again next time I visit Paris.

Die Snackbar kann in allen Astotel-Hotels in Paris benutzt werden! Die Minibar ist kostenlos und wird täglich aufgefüllt. Sehr sauber. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir wurden zu Beginn mit einer herzlichen Überraschung Willkommen geheissen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

The hotel was ideally located and easy to get around Paris with excellent Metro and bus routes available close by. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, fully meeting our needs. Staff are kind and courteous and offer assistance when they are approached with helpful suggestions on local restaurants. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. we were shown the secure entrance door and the area where we would have breakfast. Also, shown the 24 hour coffee machines which were very much appreciated. Staff answered all our questions regarding our travel to the airport and approximate time we needed to meet our flight.
Cons: would have liked a little more table space in the room. The location was very convenient to sightseeing, but the immediate area was under construction and the streets seemed to be unsafe.

4 of us, all adults stayed here for 3 nights. The front desk staff was so helpful checking us in and also giving us good suggestions for restaurants in the area. They also called a cab for us to take us back to the airport upon leaving, which was very easy and trustworthy. You have to be careful with some of the taxis in paris. The breakfast buffet each day had a good selection. Although you do have to pay for it. The room was comfortable and small, but that is typical for european hotel rooms. It was also a quiet hotel and walkable to many sightseeing locations. We would stay again.

Uncomplicated, central and friendly. We're Swedish and suffer some from the exchange rate, but this is not really a cheap hotel. On the other hand, you do get what you pay for in the terms of central location, friendly staff and a social style management which makes you feel less as "just" a customer and more as a guest. I appreciate this model and sympathize with it. Good on you.

Hotelul este foarte bine întreținut si cu multe facilitati (apa, suc, snackuri, etc.-permanent). Micul dejun excelenr, variat si bogat, exact de 4 stele,. Locația este grozavă. Ajungi pe jos foarte usor in câteva minute la Luvru si la tot ce este in jur. E foarte bine pozitionat. Sejurul nostru a fost excelent si cazarea a fost una din partile importante. Recomand cu placere si cu siguranță ne vom întoarce. Mulțumesc

Very helpful and welcoming front desk staff. The snacks and coffee that are out all afternoon and evening in the breakfast area were lovely, plus we enjoyed the cold beverages in our room refrigerator. Our room and bathroom were very clean and pleasant with the exception of a slight smell that I did not like on one of my pillowcases. Our hotel room was quiet and we enjoyed a good night's sleep after our early arrival in Paris that morning. We enjoyed breakfast plus the great location of the hotel. I would stay here again when I return to Paris.

Zimmer sehr ruhig, gross und sauber mit Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine. Die Betten sind bequem und man kann gut lüften. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Fast alles zu Fuss möglich.
Cons: Das Bad war etwas klein für jemanden >1,90 m - wenn man auf dem Klo sitzt, kann man Türe nicht mehr öffnen….:-) Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau!

Last summer I stayed at this amazing hotel and when returning this summer they gave me back my same room making me feel at home. The area is fantastic, super clean hotel and close to everything! Superb! Easy walk to Louvre in tranquil neighborhood that felt far more local than touristy. Jewel box of a room. No wasted space but well appointed, immaculate, pretty, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. Their restaurant recommendations were outstanding--some of the best meals we had during our stay in Paris. Will join other reviewers in high praise of the Hotel Malte breakfast option. It was a feast with an amazing array of delicious choices served in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend Hotel Malte and would happily return.

The staff were extremely polite and attentive. I especially liked the open bar available from 2 PM to 2 AM. It was also great that we could use the open bar in other hotels of the same chain. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris. Hotel is also perfect located to Louvre. Just a 5 minutes walk.

Great hotel for the price and location. Front desk attendant was very kind and helpful at 2am when we had to find a pharmacy. I really like the concept that the Astotel hotels have where you can visit any of their hotels in the city if you're staying at one. But I do have to say the Malte location is the best if you are focusing on the museums around the river.

The entire experience at the Hotel Malte-Astotel was wonderful. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, the staff was very friendly (speaking much better English than I speak French) and helpful. The room was larger than we had expected, and was very clean and well appointed. The common areas were quite nice as well, and I would HIGHLY recommend the breakfast option. Great selection of breads, pastries, hot and cold beverages, cereals, and a small selection of hot breakfast items. Also a great selection of cold meats, smoked salmon and several kinds of cheeses. Top notch! You're very close to many local points of interest -restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries, wine shops, markets... and within 5-10 minute walk of soooo much more, including bus and subway lines that will take you literally anywhere you want to go. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel, and wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay here again!

The hotel offers all the amenities you could wish for, and everything was spotless throughout our stay. The attention to cleanliness was truly remarkable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering a warm and personalized service. A special mention goes to the breakfast team, who remembered our preferences and prepared our decaf coffees each morning with a smile. Breakfast was a highlight: a complete and varied selection including different types of granola and toppings for yogurt, fresh fruit, crepes, dairy and non-dairy yogurts, charcuterie, smoked salmon, and more. Everything was carefully presented with an eye for detail, and those little thoughtful extras really made us feel at home. Highly recommended—we would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations! Great great great staff! All our needs were met...guide to the city, room amenities, and extra needs. We're at family of 4, 2 adults and 2 big teenagers. Our room was spectacular. Loft with another bedroom and bathroom so the kids loved it. They gave us the must see tourist spots, restaurants. Rain, no problem. They gave us umbrellas, no charge. FREE breakfast. It was awesome. Hot breakfast, great cold foods, yogurts, cheese, etc. Soooo good!! I definitely recommend this Hotel Malte in Paris!!!!!

У отеля идеальная локация, до лувра 5 мин пешком! Не смотря на свой микроразмер так все удобно расставлено в номере что ты не чувствуешь себя как в шкафу😹. Для одного человека идеально, вдвоем кончено совсем тесно было бы. Персонал оч услужлив во всем помогали, бронировать рестораны и меня поселили у лифта в первый день. Я жаловалась на то что слышу лифт как будто я сплю в лифте, они меня при первой возможности переселили в другой номер подальше от лифта. Внизу есть всегда еда и вода и чай и кофе и соки бесплатно. Кто был в Париже знает цены на все и это очень большой плюс.
Cons: Слышимость. Ну это бич всех отелей в Париже! Микрономера, это тоже Париж тут в общем ничего нового! Микрованна в которой довольно тяжело намываться с кайфом. Ну и цена. Она прям сильно завышена но думаю это из-за локации.

We recently stayed at Hotel Malte in Paris with our two teenagers and tween, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating, immediately putting us at ease. We felt safe and comfortable at all times—both within the hotel and around the neighborhood. The staff were warm, professional, and always happy to help. While we did our best to speak French, the team spoke excellent English and were gracious and encouraging, never making us feel awkward. Their kindness made every interaction easy and pleasant. They even helped us book a car to the train station and prepared boxed breakfasts for our early departure—just one example of how they went above and beyond. Our family room was perfect for traveling with older kids. It featured two spacious rooms joined by a private hallway, with two modern, spotless bathrooms. This setup gave everyone space and privacy while keeping us connected. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with thoughtful extras like robes, slippers, and high-end bath products that added comfort and a touch of luxury. The hotel’s food offerings were a standout. The complimentary in-room minibar was restocked daily with drinks and snacks, which our kids especially appreciated. In the lobby, the daily refreshment station was excellent—offering not just drinks and snacks, but truly exceptional pastries and a wide variety of high-quality treats. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also plentiful and delicious, with enough variety to please everyone in the family. It made mornings relaxed and enjoyable. Hotel Malte’s location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the Louvre and many other historic landmarks, as well as numerous cafés and restaurants. It was the perfect home base for exploring Paris on foot. Another charming aspect of our stay was the abundance of thoughtful, complimentary gifts—stylish tote bags, candies, vanity kits, and more. These extra touches made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. One benefit of staying at an Astotel brand hot is that you can use the restroom or enjoy the happy hour at any other Astotel nearby simply by showing your room key. A map of other hotels in the area is provided with your key card. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, and every detail seemed designed with care and intention. We especially loved the small interior courtyard, a peaceful spot to relax after a busy day in the city. If you’re visiting Paris with kids or teens, Hotel Malte is an absolute must-stay. We arrived in Paris later than expected but check in was so smooth and the hotel was quite accommodating. There is a snack bar with pastries and drinks from 2 pm to 2 am and it was absolutely amazing for an evening snack after a long day of walking. We had an early appointment at the Louvre so we dropped our bags in the luggage storage and enjoyed Paris for the day before our evening train out. We will definitely be back!

From the first greeting upon entering the hotel to the last goodbye upon leaving, the staff was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. The location is hard to beat - it’s very central and close to lots of public transportation options. The standard double room was small but very clean and stylish, with a bathroom that looked brand new. Towels and robes were soft and fluffy. We requested extra pillows (they had already provided 4 for 2 people) and they were brought to our room within 5 minutes. There is unlimited free water, juice, coffee, snacks and ice in the lobby, and the mini bar beverages in the rooms are included (and restocked daily). We were in Paris during a heat wave (multiple 100 degree days) and — unlike the restaurants, stores and subways — our room was always cool and pleasant with an individually controlled A/C. We didn’t try the hotel breakfast but it looked good. The hotel doesn’t have a gym, but there is a sister hotel nearby whose gym you can use (we didn’t try that out). We are already looking forward to returning to this wonderful hotel! (PS If you haven’t been to France recently, you may not know that in an effort to be more environmentally friendly, hotels now provide a combo shower gel/shampoo, so if you are picky about shampoo you may want to bring or buy your own (they provide conditioner).)

A wonderful warm welcome upon arrival from Fabio and Walid, the hotel receptionists. One is not a number but an individual and a guest. The security measures to ensure that only guests access the hotel is very reassuring and one receives a detailed explanation on how one enters and departs the hotel, not to mention the tour of the Breakfast / Dining room with its abundant Buffet which is at the disposal of the guests all day long. The location is also very good. I was within walking distance to the main Tourist attractions and along the way could stop when I felt like it at the local bar for a refreshing drink or a small restaurant for something to eat. My room was quiet, very clean and a super comfortable bed. There was also a mini-bar with soft drinks which were included in the price. The bathroom was equipped with cosmetic articles which is no longer to be taken for granted in the hotels today. Additionally, I had a bathrobe and slippers and enough large fluffy towels. As I stayed over the weekend when temperatures in Paris reached 40 degrees, the receptionists were generously distributing bottles of water to their guests. Another big plus, is the fact that the Astotel Group extend their services to guests at all their other hotels in the area. The guests are welcome to use the facilities, for example go into their dining area and take from the daily buffet and have soft drinks. This service I find particularly generous. The Hotel Malte was recommended to me by a friend who also stayed here during her last business trip and I was glad she did. I will definitely come again.

My son booked us a room for the night as our AirBnB didn’t have air conditioning. The temperatures reached 100f. I didn’t know what to expect but was very delighted with the cozy but classy lounge, beautiful room and bath. Loved the mini fridge, stocked with a variety of cold drinks that come with the room and a very satisfying coffee and tea set up. We had the best night sleep with excellent AC. I finally had to wake my granddaughter up at 11:30 am the next morning as she slept so well. I would love to stay here again, hopefully on my next visit. Maria

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Malte Astotel for six nights for the second time in two years at the end of June this year. Our stay was once again excellent! The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, and attentive. Our room was very clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was also quite clean and in excellent condition. The morning breakfast buffet has many delicious options including bakery items, cereals, yogurts, eggs etc. Our stay could not have been more pleasant. The hotel is in an excellent location near the Louvre with several nearby Metro stops. There are also several nearby restaurants of excellent quality. We highly recommend this hotel!

And morning buffet was better than I’ve seen in 5 star hotels. Coffee machine in lobby. It was appreciated. After Paris I stayed a week in a 5 star hotel in Rome. Breakfast better in Paris, and having that coffee available was essential. The little things.

The property and amenities were not 4 stars as advertised. The initial room was too small for 2 adults, bed size not appropriate for adults, the beds were for children. Fortunately, was able to get a different room. Only had metal garden chair(s) in the room, so no comfortable place to sit. The amenities, lobby, dining area, etc were 2 star amenities, not the 4 star as advertised. Location as too touristy

Завтрак уровня 5-звездочного отеля, выше всяких похвал - свежие соки, разнообразие сыров и колбас, большой выбор йогуртов. Расположен недалеко от Лувра, район в целом спокойный, мы часто возвращались поздно вечером, никаких сомнительных личностей не встречали. Тем не менее вход в отель только по карте, это добавляет безопасности. Приятный бонус - бесплатный буфет с закусками до 02:00 ночи. При этом там не просто орешки-чипсы, а сдоба, фрукты, напитки. Вайфай быстрый. Номера чистые, аккуратные и очень компактные - вот прям только прийти поспать. Санузел в прекрасном состоянии, сантехника хорошая, всё новое. Окна выходят на тихую улицу, мы спали с открытым окном, шума не было слышно. Кровати тоже, как достаточно компактные. Почитайте более внимательно, если для вас это принципиальный момент. А еще у это сети отелей есть приятный бонус: можно зайти в любой отель их сети по Парижу , а их 5 или 6 , показать карточку гостя, и можно также воспользоваться буфетом, вайфаем, таулетом. Мелочь, а приятно, ибо кофемашины у них хорошие.

I have been to Paris 4x now and have never stayed in this area before. It's the best one to date! Walkable to the best places, so close to the Louvre. The staff was phenomenal. Their amenities and what they provide to guests was top notch. Highly recommend this hotel!!

All of the staff, from the front reception to dining area to housekeeping was kind, helpful and courteous. Hotel room was recently remodeled, clean, comfortable, quiet and had a great view. Location is wonderful. Walid and Fabio were wonderful and super helpful! Full of suggestions for neighborhood dining and entertainment.

I booked this hotel for a last minute 4 night solo stay based on the 5* reviews online. I am a frequent traveler and typically stay at larger chains. Due to the great reviews and price point, I tried this out. The hotel is in a great and quiet location, room was very clean and modern, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a short walk to the Louvre and many restaurants and bars. I would rate this a 5* out of the 3/4 * hotels. A true 5* hotel is at another level. That said, for this price, it can't be beat.

The hotel was very charming. We were able to walk to several museums and restaurants. Staff was nice and very helpful. Breakfast was good and afternoon snacks really came in handy. My wife’s first trip to Europe and she wasn’t particularly pleased with the no air conditioning aspect but the hotel was nice enough to fix us up with a nice oscillating fan which solved the problem. Overall very pleasant experience.

For starters, the staff were amazing regarding every aspect even when complaining about something trivial they made sure your complain reaches the managers and I saw a very quick response from them. The hotel itself is amazing, I didn’t have the morning breakfast since I preferably like to start my day on empty stomach but their afternoon bar was amazing the drinks and the snacks. The location of the hotel regarding the city of Paris was excellent, no other words can actually describe that.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the reception staff who assisted my wife and me during our check-in at the hotel. The directions to the Eiffel Tower were explained exceptionally well—especially to a couple unfamiliar with the city. We are also grateful to Mr. Hakan, who was on duty at night, for his kind help with navigating the city. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast offered a sufficient and satisfying variety.

Un séjour parfait ! L’hôtel est idéalement situé en plein cœur de Paris, ce qui rend les déplacements extrêmement faciles. L’accueil a été tout simplement exceptionnel : je n’avais encore jamais été aussi bien reçu dans un hôtel, avec une équipe chaleureuse, attentionnée et toujours disponible. All was good. The door to the hallway could be more sound isolated (even the light was shining through around the door), and I was lucky there wasn't much traffic on the floor, otherwise you could hear everything. But I suppose it's a thing in most similar hotels

Poloha hotela je výborná, 10 min. peši od Louvru aj na metro. Do hotela sme prišli krátko pred 12.00 a o 12.00 sme mali lístky do Louvru. Hneď nás ubytovali, dokonca sme dostali väčšiu izbu ako sme mali rezervovanú. Personál hotela veľmi milý, priateľský a profesionálny. Izba výborná, čistá, každý deň upratovanie, výmena uterákov, doplnenie nápojov do chladničky. Raňajky chutné, veľký výber jedál, dostatok jedla počas celej doby raňajok. Veľmi oceňujem aj popoludňajší snack v rámci služieb hotela.

This is a beautiful, clean hotel with incredible service. The staff could not do enough for hotel guests. One thing in particular that I appreciated immensely was the offer of an umbrella during rainy periods. We had to make use of those during our stay. Soft drink mini-bar is included in the room rates with daily replenishment of a varied assortment of still water, sparkling water, Apple Juice and Pepsi (Diet and Original). A ‘snack bar’ is available at all the Astotel hotels in Paris (of which there are many) and as a guest of this hotel, you have access to them all so if you are out and about and find yourself some distance from here, you can make use of the facility in another Astotel. The bar comprises an array of sweet treats, all kinds of coffee and tea and other refreshments. This includes mixers if you decide to make your own cocktails. Breakfast at the hotel is a MUST. A wide selection of pastries, pancakes/waffles, cheese, yoghurts, salmon, salad etc was provided alongside hot options including bacon, eggs, sausages and potatoes. Additional sweet treats, fruit and biscuits are available too. The amount of options was truly impressive and we took full advantage of it. Therefore, I would highly recommend adding breakfast to your booking! Thank you Hôtel Malte- Astotel for our incredible weekend staying with you in Paris. Those small touches make the biggest difference to people. Keep up the great work. Truly exceptional!

La comodidad de la cama, el desayuno variado y muy rico, la habitación era amplia en comparación con otros hoteles de la zona, no era nada ruidoso y estaba muy limpio. Una relación calidad precio excelente y era un detalle el bar abierto por las tardes y el minibar gratuito, a parte de que podias entrar a cualquier hotel de la cadena para disfrutar de las instalaciones.
Cons: Lo único que me disgusto, por decir algo, es que la cortina opaca que no permite que la luz te despierte por la mañana no se ajustaba bien y no cumplia del todo su función, ya que entraba la luz por la ventana

Everything about this hotel is 5 stars! From the time we walked through the doors (so tired from a long journey!) to the time we left, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Every detail of this hotel was well thought out and executed to perfection. The view into the courtyard from our room was beautiful and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean and gorgeously designed. Top of the line hotel. I will be back, Hotel Malte! Thank you!
