This is a beautiful hotel to stay in when visiting Nice as Vieux Nice & the sea front etc are in easy walking distance as are some very good restaurants, cafes & bars. Checking in was easy and we were very happy with our Superior Twin Room. The room was beautifully furnished & very comfortable with the air conditioning being essential in view of the high external temperatures. We’d booked including breakfast and I have to say that the food selection & quality is one of the best we’ve experienced in our many visits to hotels in France. We also used the bar on several occasions and found the service to be excellent. The private transfer back to the airport due to a transport strike was also excellent value. This is a hotel I would be happy to return to in the future & also recommend to family & friends.

We very much appreciated the complimentary drinking water available throughout our stay. The gym was good, although it could benefit from a few additional pieces of equipment. The breakfast was excellent; however, offering a traditional espresso coffee would be a welcome addition.

Cons: We would also suggest providing a vanity kit in the room, including items such as cotton swabs and cotton pads, to further enhance guests' comfort and convenience.

I loved everything about it . The patio at the back is perfect for all times of the day and evening, the rooms are so clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable. All aspects of comfort are clear at this hotel and honestly one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are super helpful and engaging and kind. Even when there are a ton of people checking out all at once they keep their patience! The location is perfect, close to all restaurants, walk to the beach, pharmacy and supermarket. And the train station too. Very close. Beautiful well kept grounds too. We loved it.

Cons: Can’t say anything negative other than more floating shelves in the room and the bathrooms. We always have lots of stuff to put places and need more shelving . That’s it! It’s perfect .

I found the hotel most beautiful and the staff was outstanding most helpful in every way possible. My recommendation is that my bed was particularly hard to sleep on for several nights, being older that means something. I think the website should state that there is no elevators and rooms are located on several floors with stairs to climb however the staff was more than accommodating and bringing our luggage up as well as Down. I had a beautiful stay I have no complaints ! I will be back:)

The hotel is well situated, about 10 minutes by foot from the old town and about 15 minutes from the beach. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are on the smaller side, even the bigger categories, but well equipped. Good bathrooms. Rooms are quiet. The only downside is there is a slight musky smell in the rooms. The hotel also nickels and dimes a bit - for example, there is a charge to use a beach towel, and exchanging it for a clean towel incurs another charge. Overall, a decent hotel for the price.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice. We recently stayed here for 7 nights. We used the hotel as a base to visit the surrounding areas, Eze, Antibes, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Villefranche-sur-Mer, etc. Very walkable area. Train station is a 15 min. walk. We traveled by train and uber to all the surrounding towns. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our questions and requests. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. We will stay here again when visiting Nice.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Hotel Apollinaire Nice in July 2026. The location is excellent - central enough that we could walk almost everywhere, including the Old Town, shops, restaurants and the beach. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully maintained, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was wonderful too, with a great selection and plenty of delicious choices to start the day. A fantastic, stylish hotel and an ideal base for exploring Nice and the French Riveria. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

We recently stayed here for seven nights and had an excellent stay from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was clear. As soon as we stepped through the door, a member of staff greeted us, took our luggage and brought it to our room for us. It was a lovely first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Everywhere in the hotel was beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and had a modern, stylish feel. Every member of staff we encountered, from housekeeping and reception to the bar staff, was friendly, professional and approachable. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. Whenever we requested extra towels, they were readily available for us to collect from reception. We also realised we had forgotten to pack a travel adapter. When we asked reception where we could buy one, they kindly told us there was no need and loaned us one for the duration of our stay. Small gestures like these really highlighted the excellent customer service provided by the team. We stayed in a Classic Double Room, which we found to be on the smaller side. This is not a criticism, just an observation for anyone who prefers a more spacious room. Despite the size, the room was spotless and very comfortable. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The room was also exceptionally quiet, which was ideal after busy days exploring Nice. The air conditioning was excellent and was particularly appreciated given the extremely warm weather during our stay. The bathroom was modern, clean and well maintained. We found the size to be on the smaller side, but again, this was not a criticism, just something worth noting for guests who prefer more space. The water pressure was excellent, and everything was kept to a very high standard. We did not have breakfast during our stay, so unfortunately we cannot comment on the breakfast offering. The air conditioning throughout the hotel was another welcome feature, especially in the lobby. After spending the day exploring Nice and the surrounding cities, towns and villages, it was a pleasure to return to a cool and comfortable hotel. The location of the hotel is another major advantage. It is perfectly placed within the city, with many of Nice's main attractions easily accessible on foot. Place Masséna is approximately a five-minute walk away, with the Old Town only another three to five minutes beyond that. Getting to and from the hotel was also incredibly convenient. Tram Line 2 from the airport brings you to the Durandy tram stop, which is only around a two-minute walk from the hotel. Bus route 57 stops directly outside the hotel and takes approximately five to ten minutes to reach Nice-Ville train station. With such easy access to public transport, it was straightforward to explore further afield and enjoy day trips to the many beautiful cities, towns and villages along the Côte d'Azur. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice. The combination of the excellent service, cleanliness, comfort and ideal location made it a fantastic base for our trip. We also felt the hotel offered excellent value for money given the high standard of accommodation and customer service. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The Apollinaire is a lovely boutique hotel tucked into a beautiful neighborhood. It is an easy walk to the Promenade, restaurants, unique retail shops and Old Town Nice. The hotel itself is stylish, very clean and well-managed. It was too hot to make use of the inviting outdoor seating area, nor did we try the buffet breakfast. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nice.

I liked the location a lot. It was in a good area that is far enough away from the tourist noise and hustle bustle of daytime work. I also liked that they always had their AC on blast. I really appreciated how our room was available when we arrived at 1PM and we were allowed to check in early. The reception staff were very accommodating and always smiling and spoke english very well.

Cons: The housekeeping needs a bit more work. We had the room serviced when we would go out, but when we got back, the only thing we noticed they did was make the bed and replace the towels we used in the bathroom. My husband had left an empty can of coke by his bedside table, it was still there when we got back and there was some dust on the tables, so I had to wipe the surfaces down myself. The water jar was also not refilled when we got back to the room. I did not expect cleanliness or service to be topnotch or excellent, but I at least expected them to perform some sort of cleaning instead of just making the bed and changing towels.

We loved our stay at this hotel! As other reviewers have noted, the hotel is in an excellent location as it is quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre, but all the key areas such as the Promenade des Anglais, station and squares are within easy walking distance. The tram stop is just round the corner so that was handy for us travelling from the airport. We found all the staff at this hotel to be very friendly, everyone from the front desk team to the porters, breakfast staff and cleaning teams were all smiley and polite. We had help with our cases on arrival and departure and you really felt nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is lovely and air conditioned throughout, and feels nice and modern: inside it is decorated well and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms have lovely comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, plenty of wardrobe space and a very good shower. The breakfast is exceptional. Everything you could want, fresh fruit, melt in the mouth pastries and lovely cooked options. Though we chose to enjoy evening drinks out and about in Nice centre during our stay, there is a nice bar area at this hotel, which is useful for those who want to have a night cap closer to home. Overall, we had an excellent stay here and would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Easy to access from the airport, Durandy tram stop was a two minute walk away Clean, classy, sophisticated - first impressions were excellent. Checking in was perfect, concierge provided us with a map and clearly marked where we were in relation to other interested landmarks. Room was super clean and fresh and the air con was amazing (much needed as temperatures were between 35-40 degrees for our whole stay). The coffee, roomy fridge, excellent toiletries and the most amazing shower made the stay even more special We were room only but the breakfast room was busy every morning when we left the hotel, looked perfectly fine. Check out smooth, left luggage facility available made our last day super easy.

The room we had was small but as we were only staying 1 night it wasn’t an issue. We were joining a cruise ship the following day. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Great hotel with very professional, friendly staff. Located in a good area in Nice, our room was spacious compared to usual French standards, clean and well-equipped. Lots of choice at breakfast. We foolishly left an adapter in our room and the hotel had a clear and efficient procedure to get it back to us. As we had a late flight they also kept our bags and offered us space to freshen up before our departure. Would highly recommend.

Convenient to visit both the historical part of Nice as well as to the shops, quiet neighbourhood, clean room.

Cons: We stayed for only 1 night but the body lotion bottle was empty which we discovered only very late at night. It was clear that their housekeeping staff had not checked if it needed refilling. The person on duty was unable to refill it but provided a small tube which I had to go down to Reception myself to collect.

Das Hotel liegt zentral, alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, aber nicht im Zentrum des trubeligen Lebens. Die Zimmer erfreuen durch Geräumigkeit und zweckmäßige Ausstattung. An der Reception wird freundlich und kompetent mit guten Empfehlungen weitergeholfen. Elegantes nicht überladenes Ambiente.

Cons: Wir waren mit dem Mietauto unterwegs. Die vom Hotel vermittelte öffentliche Garage ist gut zu erreichen, aber extrem eng auch für einen kleinen Mittelklassemietwagen. Der Lift war nicht funktionstüchtig, sodass wir jedesmal über die Abfahrt, auch mit Koffer bei der Abreise, zum Wagen gehen mussten, was uns angesichts vorbeirasender Autos einigermaßen gefährlich vorkam.

The Hotel Apollinaire is a beautiful hotel. It seems to have been recently renovated or is a new hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were on the 6th floor with a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Cons: The only thing that could have been better was the shower. We had a huge bathtub with shower and the only shower head was handheld. It would have been nice to have a regular showerhead also.

(but they gave us other WI-FI network , but still NETFLIX didnt worked. We had 2 birthdays - 28.05 and 31.05 - Hotel didnt even send their greetings to us. Every year we go on vacation at the same time and every other Hotel in other countries send to us a birthday card or a piece of cake. But they didnt done nothing, and its 4 STAR HOTEL. They've asked for 150 EUR as a DEPOSIT, but there was no MINIBAR or anything else, so I dont see a logic in this.

This hotel is centrally located. It is a 10 min walk from the train station and 10 min walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The room is small but that’s not uncommon in Europe. Bed was a little firm for my taste but my husband found it comfortable. Overall I would recommend the hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again if ever visiting Nice in the future.

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen. Man ist schnell in der Altstadt, am Bahnhof und an der Promenade. Die mitarbeitenden sind unfassbar toll - sie haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und bei allen Anfragen geholfen. Wir konnten früher ins Zimmer, bestellte Blumen wurden geliefert und auch der Wunsch nach einer zweiten Bettdecke wurde bedient. Im Hotel gibt es die Möglichkeit kostenfrei Wasser nachzufüllen.

Spent five nights at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The location is excellent being about half way between the old town/sea and the railway station. The rooms were well equipped and super clean with great attention to cleaning detail. The hotel was quiet with no street noise or corridor noise. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful, hotel its self very clean and bright. As we spend very little time in our room we had the basic Comfort room. It's a bit cramped but OK for us, the mini bar is empty, and should have been removed and clothing shelves installed. As the only wardrobe has only one shelf the others can't be reached unless 7ft tall plus,and no other space for storing clothes. Your water bottle is full on arrival, but after that you have to fetch water from the outside lobby daily. Breakfast is good and quality is there but €44 for 2 its all its money. The hotel is very well situated and you can reach the beach, the old town, flower market and the shopping boulevard within 10/15min walk . Nice hotel but probably not enough for us to return.

This was paradise in Nice. This was one of the nicest hotel experiences we had in France. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is extremely ample and diverse. The location is very nice because you are still close enough to the old town, but also close to many great restaurants available in this part of Nice. I felt like I was surrounded by luxury. The staff provides excellent customer service and is there for your every need.

Завтраки так же приятно удивили, так как это очень влажно для меня, я путешествовала с семьей ( ребенок 11 лет): фрукты, вкусные сыры, хамон и ветчина, яичница, йогурты, вкусная выпечка , кофе, чай был именно заварной - это было большим удовольствием.Персонал всегда с улыбкой утром встречал что завтрак делало еще более приятным. Наша семья осталась максимально довольна выбором этого отеля.

The entire staff was wonderful! Their breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had in a hotel anywhere!! The selection and quality was excellent. They provide a refillable water bottle with a filtered water station. Such a nice option if you drink a lot of water. I would recommend to anyone staying in Nice. Great waterfall shower head and lots of hot water.

We had the excellent EXPRESS breakfast on two mornings - served in a quiet area in the lobby, ideal as we were 6 adults so we got to sit together. It came on individual trays. A very comfortable and popular hotel located about half way between the Nice railway station and the old town. (15 minutes easy walk either way) The streets surrounding the hotel are quiet, very flat and easily walkable. Lovely bathrooms with Nuxe toiletries, nice size room and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and definitely recommended to have at the hotel as there are not many cafes in the near vicinity. Interesting that there was a nice bar area and good room service menu for evening meals but no on site restaurant. This would have been most helpful as there was very little open nearby on Saturday night/ Sunday and the public holiday. Fabulous, friendly and helpful reception staff. Laverie (self serve laundry) on the corner which was great for catching up on all the travel washing.

Bijoux subtilisés ou mis à la poubelle à l’hôtel - aucun dédommagement reçu. Faites attention à vos affaires ! Comme discuté avec le personnel et le responsable. Ie déplore la qualité de cet hôtel 4 étoiles. L’emplacement est ok mais le prix ne vaut pas la prestation que nous avons reçu. Nous avions acheté des bijoux fantaisie pour ma fille pour l’équivalent de 30 euros video a l appui merci les ados ! On en les retrouve plus dans la chambre . On se rend à la réception, on nous dit qu’on va regarder mais rien. Je ne pensais pas qu’en prenant un 4 étoiles il fallait mettre ses bijoux fantaisie dans le coffre ! 35 euros c est 10 pct du prix d’une nuit. Même si avec une moindre probabilité (le sac était sur la table de nuit…) le sac à été jeté je pense que la moindre des choses était un remboursement. Nous sommes des personnes honnêtes qui avons passé une heure à retourner la chambre pour ne pas accuser qq un qui n’a rien fait. Entre le temps passé à chercher et la discussion avec la direction qq heures de perdu sur un sejour déjà court. Aucun geste de la direction décevant. Je mets très peu d’avis mais cette fois ci je suis furieuse.

I liked the location. It's very convenient to a lot of the scenic areas and restaurants. Breakfast was good but not great. We really missed "brewed coffee" in the morning but that's not a show stopper since you have many great coffee shops nearby.

Cons: Traffic and partying noise can be very loud. Request a room on the backside of the hotel.

The hotel and room were very clean, comfortable, modern, and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return on our next visit. The location is amazing - just a couple minutes walk from the tram station, with the old town and main street close by and easy to reach on foot. Also, the staff were among the best we’ve encounter. They were all so friendly, warm, and always happy to help, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. Overall, it was a really pleasant and fantastic experience, and we’d highly recommend it!

We stayed for 9 nights - the room was good with lots of storage space, safe, fridge; the bed and pillow were excellent, VERY comfortable. Large bathroom with nice toiletries and tissues. Quite noisy if you left the window open at night, as close to road. Staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Close to shopping area and tram stop (5 mins walk) into town / railway station and also close to tram stop for port area and Airport (direct line). Easy walk into centre (10-12 mins). Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel delivered well beyond our expectations. We stayed 20/3 for 3 night, Absolutely immaculate , class hotel. Superb breakfast and the staff are the most professional and helpful we’ve met on our various travels . We had a medical emergency on arrival at the airport and the assistance and concern shown to us on arrival at the hotel was superb. In addition. Our return transfer booked via Holiday Extras in the UK didn’t arrive so they quickly sorted us another taxi to get us to the airport . Highly highly recommended.

In una posizione comoda e centrale, ma con la tranquillità di una via residenziale, l'hotel Apollinaire è stata un'ottima base da cui partire per esplorare Nizza e i suoi dintorni. Eravamo un gruppetto, avevamo prenotato tre camere singole, e tutte e tre erano molto pulite, confortevoli e silenziose. La struttura è perfettamente integrata nel contesto urbano, chic e raffinata con uno stile curato e minimalista. Il personale è preparato e cortese. La colazione a buffet ci è parsa di qualità più che buona, con anche una certa attenzione a offrire prodotti locali. Credo che non esiterei a consigliare questo hotel se qualcuno mi domandasse un suggerimento su dove soggiornare a Nizza. Peraltro, a breve distanza ci sono due o tre ottimi ristoranti per una cena gourmet.

Cons: Dovendo trovare un paio di difetti, segnalerei il meccanismo di sblocco dell'erogazione dell'acqua della doccia tramite "telefono" che era difettoso in una delle nostre camere e il fatto che non ci fosse una vera e propria scrivania, per quanto piccola, per appoggiare un pc. Inoltre, avevamo chiesto al concierge di chiamarci un taxi (servizio pubblico) e loro invece, senza parere, hanno convocato un loro autista. Complessivamente non abbiamo speso molto di più per raggiungere la nostra destinazione (forse 10 euro) però non è stata limpidissima come iniziativa.

We booked as a surprise for my mum’s birthday and the whole stay was absolutely amazing. She had the best time! The rooms were lovely and clean, a brilliant breakfast spread (even for vegetarians), a lovely little bar, but by far the best thing about this hotel is the staff! Everyone we met was friendly and personable, it genuinely felt like they were happy to meet us. No request felt too big or small. We paid to have some champagne and chocolate cake in one of the rooms, and they timed it perfectly for our arrival so the champagne was cold. The chocolate cake was the best we’ve ever had! The location also worked great for us, my dad has a walking stick and we still found travel manageable, walking mostly everywhere. For the moments it was too much, they have a tram stop very close by and it’s really easy to get a taxi.

Room - Good size, cozy room except the bathroom is a little compact. - Very very clean. - Fresh towels n Comfortable bed n pillows - Has all the toilet amenities incl a kettle - Bright n well lit room with good block out for a good night rest . Reception - Enjoyed a warm n cheerful welcome by reception staff .. always cheerful n helpful. - They also recommended very good restaurants nearby. OVERALL :: Highly recommend staying at hotel apolinaire nice for all the above reasons.

Hotel staff were all friendly and accommodating. We arrived at the hotel before the 3pm check-in time and staff offered to check if there was a room available as early as 9am. Since there was none (which we understand), they kept our bags and delivered them to our room as soon as it was ready. Really appreciate these small gestures. Everything is also walking distance from the hotel. Saves you transportation cost while earning your steps!

A most comfortable and centrally located hotel, only 5 mins from the airport tram stop. The Apollinaire has the highest standards of housekeeping and the reception is attentive to its customers' needs. We stayed in a superior room and found the size of the room most impressive and the bathroom was spacious too. A most enjoyable stay, we'll be back soon!

This is a wonderful hotel. It is as beautiful in the inside as the outside. The location feels like it is in a residential area, yet within a block or two you have all the shopping and restaurants that you need. Old town and La Promenade des Anglais are within walking distance. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked very good. Staff were very kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

L'hôtel est globalement très bien, il est quasi neuf, les matériaux sont nobles et agréables, l'accueil et le services globalement et adorable au petit-déjeuner.

Cons: GROS GROS GROS point négatif... eau froide sous la douche pendant 3 jours en plein mois de décembre, l'hôtel nous disant que tout était normal... pas possible franchement !!! Prix très élevé franchement.

We stayed at the hotel with our family and had a wonderful experience. Everything was excellent – clean rooms, comfortable environment, and great service. The staff were especially friendly and very kind to children, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other families.

Don’t let the pictures fool you. Run far away! THIEVES! Do not trust the hotel front desk staff They appear friendly but thats a scam. Upon checkout they tried to charge us for things we did not use or ask for to increase the cost so please double check your final bill before paying. Also we inadvertently left an item in the room after checking out. The next day we called the hotel and the clerk said they had the item but would need over $100 to mail it back to us. Upon giving our credit card number for the shipping charge they ran up three fake charges on our credit card for different amounts totaling almost $900 dollars to a fictitious account. Thankfully the credit card company caught it and are investigating. We initially thought it was the one person who ran the charge that was dishonest but they are all in it together and cover for each other. We tried to call back to the hotel repeatedly to get further answers and they keep hanging up the phone and would not let us speak to the person or supervisor. Its a shame because we had a beautiful time in Nice prior to this event but would never stay here again.
