L'hôtel est globalement très bien, il est quasi neuf, les matériaux sont nobles et agréables, l'accueil et le services globalement et adorable au petit-déjeuner.

Cons: GROS GROS GROS point négatif... eau froide sous la douche pendant 3 jours en plein mois de décembre, l'hôtel nous disant que tout était normal... pas possible franchement !!! Prix très élevé franchement.

Don’t let the pictures fool you. Run far away! THIEVES! Do not trust the hotel front desk staff They appear friendly but thats a scam. Upon checkout they tried to charge us for things we did not use or ask for to increase the cost so please double check your final bill before paying. Also we inadvertently left an item in the room after checking out. The next day we called the hotel and the clerk said they had the item but would need over $100 to mail it back to us. Upon giving our credit card number for the shipping charge they ran up three fake charges on our credit card for different amounts totaling almost $900 dollars to a fictitious account. Thankfully the credit card company caught it and are investigating. We initially thought it was the one person who ran the charge that was dishonest but they are all in it together and cover for each other. We tried to call back to the hotel repeatedly to get further answers and they keep hanging up the phone and would not let us speak to the person or supervisor. Its a shame because we had a beautiful time in Nice prior to this event but would never stay here again.

We absolutely loved Hotel Appollinaire for our Christmas trip to Nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially with our questions about transit around the region. The room was beautiful and roomy, and the sauna was incredible after a long day of walking. It sits about halfway between the main train station and the beach, which makes everything about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Расположение классное- семь минут пешком до Рождественской ярмарки. Тихое место- транспорта не слышно. Сейф и холодильник - в номере. На третий день дежурила русскоязычная Людмила; мелочь- а приятно.

Cons: Завтрак более, чем скромный. Нет тапочек, халата и зубной щетки. Пишут, что можно было попросить... Трансфер до аэропорта (16 минут ехали)- 40 евро; могло бы быть и поскромнее. При уборке не то, чтобы шоколадку принести- воду не наливали.

In the evenings, the bar serves good drinks and, reasonably good food. While our visit to niece was too short, we would love to return and, if we do, we will stay here again.

Η καλύτερη διαμονή στη Νίκαια. Το ξενοδοχείο ειναι σε στρατηγική τοποθεσία μεταξύ τρένου και θάλασσας. Ανετα και ευρυχωρα δωμάτια και πρωινό πλούσιο, απο τα καλύτερα που ειχαμε για δεδομένα Γαλλίας. Το προσωπικό ηταν φιλικότατο, πολυ εξυπηρετικό και πάντα με χαμόγελο. Ενα ξενοδοχείο ειναι οι άνθρωποι του, και ηταν απο τους πιο φιλικούς υπαλλήλους στο ξενοδοχείο αυτο.

Cons: Самый главный недостаток, это отсутствие крючков для верхней одежды на входе в номер, в межсезонье мокрую верхнюю одежду просто некуда повесть :(( Остальное уже по мелочи, вода в номер только при заселении, тапочки и халаты нужно просить, но это не сильно напрягает.

В отеле очень чисто, расположение прекрасное, буквально 5 мин идти до центральной улицы со всевозможными магазинами, кафе-ресторанами, торговыми центрами, от площади Массена 10 мин. Персонал вежливый, предупредительный, есть сотрудники, говорящие на русском языке. Номер просторный, оснащен абсолютно всем, что нужно: чайный набор, вода, утюг с гладильной доской, фен, сейф, тапочки, халаты. Завтраки достаточно разнообразны. Удивило, что чай был не пикетированный, а настоящая заварка, причем очень хорошего качества и 6 видов на любой вкус. Вечером в отеле можно расслабиться в сауне, она небольшая, но хороший влажный пар, можно принять душ, в неограниченном количестве полотенца, чистые халаты, одноразовые тапочки. После сауны можно там же попить чай, воду, полежать в массажном кресле. Общественным транспортом не пользовались, но трамвайная линия в 5 минутах ходьбы, жд вокзал недалеко, по карте 15 мин пешком. В целом, отель рекомендую

Das Zimmer war großzügig, sehr sauber und durch die großen Fenster schön hell. Das Badezimmer ist modern und absolut sauber. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und der Frühstücksraum ausreichend groß (kein unangenehmes Gedränge) und einladend. Die Lage des Hotels ist top, nur ein paar Fußminuten zur Altstadt und Strand-Promenade, die Gegend war gepflegt. Der Concierge war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns mit hilfreichen Tipps versorgt.

The room was very spacious and as a corner room had great natural light but the lighting itself was a little less that I would have liked. The hotels location is fantastic so close to everything and yet still really tranquil.

Cons: The shower is a tricky set up, I had to work hard to keep the overhead bracket secure and not spray the whole bathroom with water. It would be nice if the gym had a few more facilities as it means its hard to workout if its busy, and the opening times are quite restrictive.

Cons: Er zijn twee liften en tijdens ons gehele verblijf van 4 dagen was er 1 lift stuk. Voor een hotel met 6 of 7 etages is dat zeer onhandig, daar ook housekeeping van de lift gebruik moet maken. Bij het inchecken moest ik ook nog 150 euro borg, via mijn credit card, afgeven. Dat heb ik van te voren nergens terug kunnen lezen en vind ik zeer ongastvrij.

Świetny hotel w doskonałej lokalizacji. Samochód można zaparkować na czas rozpakowania przed samym hotelem. Parking strzeżony mieści się dosłownie 100-200m od hotelu, pod galerią handlową. Plac Massena i Promenada Anglików odległość w odległości przyjemnego spaceru. Pyszne śniadanie.

Cons: Komunikacja z parkingiem - obsługa parkingu twierdziła, że nic nie wie na temat rabatu dla gości hotelowych, o czym informowano mnie w recepcji.

Fantastic location, lovely staff and great facility The staff were so helpful as I came in early after a long flight and since my room wasn't ready at the time of my arrival they let me use the shower in the spa to refresh and go out and enjoy the city till my room is ready and they got the room ready two hours earlier than expected Very professional and lovely staff Thank you and will come again if i visit Nice🌷❤️

Our second visit to the refurbished & renamed Apollinaire. The issue we had with the Shower configuration in the Bathroom previously was not a problem this time. Really good location with the new Tram Line 2 from the Airport. The only issue left that I would flag is the over-priced Breakfast offering given the choice that is available within walking distance of the Hotel. Solution? Increase the Room Rates very slightly & incorporate Breakfast into that price.

Spotless hotel - very clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They were always on hand to ask for advice on things to do in Nice and they were very welcoming. Rooms are a decent size and comfortable. We got to check in early too which was a great bonus after an early morning flight. It's a quiet hotel so it's easy to sleep at night and beds are comfortable. Location is also very good, just a few minutes walk from everywhere and there's a tram only 3 minutes away. I'd recommend this hotel to others.

Cons: Pity the hotel doesn't have a restaurant for dinner and some of the plugs in our room didn't work. We would also have preferred to not have an accessible room when we didn't need one.

I stayed at Hôtel Apollinaire Nice for 9 nights in October 2025 with my wife during our anniversary vacation in the French Riviera. Overall, it’s a stylish and comfortable boutique hotel conveniently located within walking distance of Old Town, the tram station (Durandy), and many restaurants. The room was modern, clean, and well-decorated. The staff at the reception were friendly and professional, and check-in was smooth. The breakfast buffet (22€) offered a good selection of fresh pastries, fruits, and coffee. The location was perfect for exploring Nice on foot, and we felt safe even when walking back at night. Free water refill was nice!

Cons: The room’s soundproofing wasn’t perfect — we could occasionally hear hallway noise and music at night time from a dance studio behind the hotel.

Zeer mooi hotel, leuke binnentuin waar je gezellig kan vertoeven met een drankje uit de bar, ontbijt is perfect, alles is aanwezig (bij goed weer kan je lekker buiten ontbijten), kamers zeer proper en van alle comfort voorzien (minibar, kluis, strijkijzer, waterkoker, haardroger,...) niets te kort, personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ligging van het hotel : perfect, op 200m van tramhalte Durandy, en op 10 min te voet van het treinstation. Centrum Nice perfect te voet bereikbaar. De wellness in dit hotel is zeker een pluspunt. Een echte aanrader !!!

Cons: The breakfast could have had a bit more variety. Few days before arrival I asked the hotel by messaging them to book us a taxi to pick up and drop us to the hotel. Upon arrival there was no one waiting for us. I called the hotel and appeared that they never booked the taxi for us. We ended up waiting for 30 mins at least and getting an uber in the end. The most disappointing thing was that none of the hotel staff , neither the management approached us to apologise and offer something as a gesture of good will for the inconvenient at least. We did not expect anything but it is just those little things. An other thing we noticed it was that the room did not have any of the one use toiletries that 4 star hotels have, such us toothbrush, toothpaste or shower cup etc. Slippers as well we had to ask them to give to us. I believe for a 4 star hotel and being so expensive these things should be standard being available in the room.

The hotel was stylish, attractive and well located. The breakfast was fairly expensive but well worth it. There was good variety and everything was very tasty. The staff was the most outstanding feature of the hotel. They were not only pleasant but genuinely helpful in many ways.

Cons: Our room was way too small. There was no place to open the suitcase ex pet on the floor right by the bed which required me to crawl to the end of the bed to get out of bed, which was exhausting. While this is my only criticism of the hotel. It significantly impacted our stay.

The breakfast was excellent. The room had a balcony which looked out over the park. It was the perfect place to share a bottle of wine and some food we picked up at the market. Would definitely stay there again.

Cons: When we got to the hotel we knew we were a couple hours early and had planned to store our bags to explore a bit. The staff at the front desk were excellent and stated that the room was ready and we could check in then. We were very happy after a long trip. When we got the room, the door was open and was being checked over by housekeeping. When i showed her the key, she become agitated and allowed us in but said something in very rapid French that my limited French could not understand, Obviously she was not happy that we were given a key to the room. Was a bit awkward.

Utterly expensive, probably because of the Ironman competition that weekend. € 400 for a simple twin room, with quite an outdated style. Tho it was clean, which is much appreciated. No shutters. If you open the window at night, which I like (to have some fresh air), you will hear people yelling and maybe witness accidents. So please close your window for sound insulation. Breakfast was rather average, no fresh juice. Overall, okay, but not worth €400, honestly.

The hotel was superbly located within easy walking distance of the commercial centre, the old town, local restaurants, bars and cafes and easily accessible for the seafront. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. As a seasoned traveller, l was very impressed with every aspect of the hotel staff from front of house to cleaners and chambermaids. Nothing was too much trouble and all enquiries were dealt with in a polite and friendly manner. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Nice.

The beds and pillows we were comfortable and we were able to chrome cast onto the TV. The staff overall were lovely apart from one of the front desk ladies, who was a little abrupt and had an attitude. The men that work at the front desk were absolutely lovely, nothing was too hard for them and they always greeted us. Location was good, a nice little work into the main areas.

Cons: Our only negative was that we had to pay for beach towels, something we haven’t experienced in any other hotel.

This was a pleasant stay near the heart of Nice in the wonderful French Rivera. The room on the third floor offered a "nice" view of the neighborhood, the shower was good and the space was not cramped. An espresso machine came in handy. The room was kept clean and neat. Service was friendly and staff was efficient but this is a place where you are left to your own devices. The hotel is your gateway to the heart of this special city as well as the beach and legendary Promenade des Anglais, all a short enjoyable walk away. There is a morning breakfast offered (which we did not try) and there is a small bar well managed by the attendant. Insider tip: On a side street across from the hotel, a small store operates where you can buy water, fruit and necessities at reasonable prices. All in all, special memories follow us from our stay at the Hôtel Apollinaire Nice.

We were delighted with this hotel. Location is good, it's just a 10 min walk into the Old Town and a straight road down Rue Alberti. The staff on front desk were all very friendly and helpful with things like restaurants . We didn't use the hotel breakfasts as we'd usually had a good meal the night before but you can choose to have the breakfast whenever you want for 22 Euros per person. Our comfort room was not large but perfectly reasonable for a 3 night break, the bathroom had a large shower and it had all been refurbished beautifully. The bar area was lovely but my only gripe was that it shut at 11pm, just as I was wanting a nightcap.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing location just one block from the main strip. Breakfast was great. Staff excellent and very helpful with suggestions on where to go. I wish they had parking on site but it is just up the road and not too expensive. Also parking on the street is decent just have to move your car early. No complaints otherwise.

Very clean and beautiful rooms. As a dog friendly hotel, I wished they would give us a bowl for the dog to be kept in the room or a kennel/dog bed but still they were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was actually very good with a lot of choice.

stayed at Hôtel Apollinaire for 4 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The Comfort Room was well-finished with a spacious bathroom and full-sized bathtub. The hotel was spotless throughout thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. A highlight was the wellness room—spacious, private, with a massage chair, sauna, and refreshments. I only wish a hairdryer had been provided there. Reception service was mixed. Laura, the manager, was welcoming and assisted with early check-in, and Michael was also helpful. However, one receptionist, Lusine, was rude when I asked about using the landline, leading to an unpleasant exchange over a simple misunderstanding. Overall, a comfortable stay with great facilities and mostly friendly staff, though guest service could be more consistent.

While others in our group stayed at a hotel on the promenade that was 4 stars, they complained of rooms that were small, musty, and dated. We were so happy we chose this truly 4 star hotel instead! I am mobility limited which involves a lot of research and emailing back and forth and they were just wonderful answering all my questions so I could make an informed choice about the hotel. Firstly, it is very elegant and up to date. Beautiful lobby, furnishings, a bar and comfortable seating areas including the room where breakfast is served. There is a lift to get to the lobby from outside and then elevators in the building bringing us up to our accessible second floor deluxe room which had a roll in shower. There is a coffee maker and frig in the room as well as a safe. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable especially with the automatic black out shade which Ledion from the hotel was great in going over when he brought our bags up after storing them when we first arrived before our room was ready since it was early morning. They provide you with a large bottle of mineral water which is reusable in helping with their eco efforts. There is a refill station outside of the lobby with a ramp and also restrooms and a spa as well as outdoor seat for drinks or breakfast. The staff could not have been more efficient, friendly, professional or knowledgeable. They were always available to answer questions, offer tips, restaurant recommendations and really indulged me in trying to use my rusty French! Breakfast was fantastic and was included in our booking. Scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, croissants, breads, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, bacon…..you name it. Thank you to Ledion and the entire staff whose names I wish I remembered for a truly exceptional 3 day stay!

Rooms were nice and large enough, bathroom with balcony and daylight in it. Location was good inbetween the beach and main city shopping street. Breakfast was good quality French breakfast with some choice, not wide though. There was a nice courtyard. There was also coffee machine in the room with very good coffee capsules.

Cons: There was a gym, but very limitted equipment, including dumpbells, for resistance training. Ther was also welness room with tea, but no place to sit and relax. Both issues could be easily fixed. Little bit expensive for this type of hotel, although it was high season I should admit.

The AC was modern and worked perfectly during a heat wave. The location was perfect, away from the busiest streets of Nice yet close enough to walk everywhere.

We had a suite for 1 night as we were 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The suite was very spacious, bigger than most of the suites we have had. The master bedroom was very spacious, and the living room/children's room was good size. The sofa bed was comfortable (which is not always the case at other hotels). And the suite had 2 showers and toilettes which made life much more comfortable, especially when we were 4 people sharing the room. Breakfast was decent. It had everything one would expect for a hotel breakfast, scumbled egg, bacon, cold cuts, and even some french delicacies for french breakfast/desert. Service was good. We will definitely stay at the hotel again when we visit Nice.

The hotel is ideal for seeing all the sights in Nice - you can walk everywhere. It's also around the corner from a tram stop, which is convenient for getting to and from the airport. My room was clean, although I didn't like the toilet setup being separate from the bathroom. While the hotel was in a good location, it felt a bit sterile, and the staff did not have a warm, welcoming vibe. I didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't comment. However, many places to eat, including breakfast, are within a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

Very nice location, in a clean area, close to many restaurants and shopping places. We liked the small balcony in our room and I appreciated good quality cosmetics in the bathroom. It’s a 10-15 minutes walk from the beach (which is no sand, only rocks, so be prepared with proper shoes ;))

Cons: Personally, I would have appreciated more fruits selection at the breakfast and some more variation from a day to another - like alternate the omelette with fried eggs), but overall it was a nice breakfast and the staff was very helpful and nice - we felt much welcomed each time!

Our experience in the Apollinaire was very good. The hotel is on a very nice street in the city. Check in was simple. Our room was very good. It was bright and airy overlooking the street. We were very happy with it. The hotel lobby is bright. The people working there are very efficient and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent again served in a bright room with an outside area. There was a good choice. Some people might think the hotel is a bit far from the seafront but that did not affect us. We were close to a good choice of restaurants and activities. All in all we had a good stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Nice.

Hotel requires a depositio of 150€ in cash or via credite card when you arrived. I had to go out and find cash machine since I didn't have both at that moment. 3. Hotel lifts are so slow. This is a great hotel. The location is the best as you can walk within 15 min to the beach, old town and so on. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. But there were two issues, which I didn't like. First, during "lunch / dinner" hours they serve food and drinks outside. But when I asked to use one of the table to do a small "picnic" I was told immediately "NO". There was nobody out there and nobody would have cared and on top of it I would have ordered drinks from the bar. So be a bit more customer oriented. And the second, a pair of shoes from my wife disappeared. We didn't realize it right away but just at the end when we packed up again. I want to be carful as I don't want to get somebody in trouble but the fact is that the shoes were gone. I don't like it.
