Cons: Charges for using the Minibar and snacks in the hotel room. The optional service charge is cheeky - when paying for a hotel room all the usual services are included in the price, I think asking for a service charge is greedy from the hotel chain.

El aire acondicionado funciona perfectamente y se puede configurar a tu gusto. Me gusta que me dejen botellas de agua como cortesía.
Cons: Me hubiera gustado que alguien de recepción hablase español. Pagué en metálico la estancia completa en metálico, además de una garantía, y no me dieron siquiera algún tipo de recibo. Entiendo que no me den factura, pero al menos un recibí o algo así.

The location is great, right across from the train station. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, which we really appreciated. It was also nice that the room was cleaned thoroughly and regularly every day. However, it would have been better to have a coffee machine instead of a kettle. Instant coffee in Italy is not really enjoyable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and were happy with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room.
Cons: Although two towels were provided for each guest, only one bathrobe and one pair of slippers were provided, even though we were staying as a couple. It would have been more appropriate to provide these amenities for both guests. The shower water also took quite a long time to heat up, and water spilled onto the bathroom floor while showering, probably due to an issue with the floor slope or drainage.

The room was comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station and the main attractions, making it easy to get around.
Cons: The first room we were given had an issue with the bedside lights, which wouldn’t turn off. We eventually realised that the light switches were broken. After contacting reception, they kindly moved us to another room. Although the rooms are clean and comfortable, it is noticeable that the hotel is quite old and would benefit from some renovation, particularly the bathrooms. One of the towels we were given also started to shred as soon as we used it to dry ourselves, which was disappointing. The appearance of the hallways could also be significantly improved. In front of our room, there was a large stain on the carpet that looked unpleasant and made the area feel poorly maintained.

Everything! The hotel is really lovely and located so close to the train station! My 16 year old daughter absolutely loved private access to the gym that was actually located next to our room!
Cons: We were not sure about breakfast, although the variety was big, (lots of choices), however the quality of food could improve. Also our view from our window was a bit poor lol however we did not come to stay there and enjoy the view from the hotel. We only wanted to have a safe and comfortable place to stay for couple of nights and the hotel exeeded our expectations. We were really really pleased with it. So big Thank You!

Låg direkt över gatan från Bolognas centralstation - perfekt för resande som behöver övernattning. Väldigt välstädad, fräscht stort rum och fint badrum med badkar. Bra luftkonditionering. Vi hade rum på baksidan av hotellet - mycket tyst och inga störningar på natten. Personalen i front desk var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam, vi fick en karta och tips på promenad och bra ställen att äta på. Frukosten var väldigt bra med ett stort urval.

Hotel muito confortável, com ótimo pequeno almoço, a localização é excelente por se situar em frente à estação de comboios que permite o acesso ao aeroporto ou a qualquer cidade que se queira visitar. Pode-se visitar o centro da cidade a pé, percorrendo cerca de 20 minutos em linha reta chega-se à Piazza Maggiore. O pequeno almoço é muito bom tal como o serviço de restaurante.

Cons: Mi è sempre piaciuto tutto ma nell'ultima prenotazione ho letto le comunicazioni dell'hotel e sono rimasta sgradevolmente sorpresa dal fatto che si cita un obbligo di lasciare la mancia del 5% allo staff e del 10% al ristorante. Questa scorretta abitudine che ho trovato in molti Paesi esteri non mi è mai piaciuta e trovo che adeguarsi a questo comportamento non sia corretto perchè sottende anche ad un minore remunerazione dei dipendenti da parte dei datori di lavoro. C'è da dire però, che ho notato che questa regola non è stata mai applicata, nemmeno nel mio ultimo pagamento. Probabilmente è un adeguamento a regole formali che valgono per la catena ma che in Italia, fortunatamente, non viene eseguita. Se in futuro la mancia dovesse risultare obbligatoria, prenoterò in altri hotel.

The location was right next to the main train station. Usually the main train station can be quite a dodgy place to be at but this is not the case. The bed was comfortable, and there were many options for pillows. best sleep i've had. The place was quiet as well, you don't hear people around (great sound proofing) especially when my room was next to the lift. The staff were lovely, great help to find food and provided us with adaptors when ours didn't work.

I had a great stay in Bologna! The hotel was extremely clean, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. It’s right in front of the train station, which made arriving, departing and getting around incredibly easy. Everything felt well maintained and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our stay. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Bologna.
Cons: The only thing that was just okay for me was the breakfast. It wasn’t particularly to my taste, but overall it didn’t take away from a really great stay.

Ich bin mittlerweile regelmässig zu Gast in diesem Hotel und jedes mal fühle ich mich super aufgehoben. Sehr freundliches Personal, super sauber, exzellentes Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Die Position ist wirklich perfekt, von hier aus ist man gemütlich in wenigen Minuten in der Altstadt mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und top Restaurants, zeitgleich ist man über den gegenüberliegenden Bahnhof in <15 Min. am Flughafen und z.B. in 1 Stunde mit dem Zug in Mailand, Florenz oder Venedig. Trotz der Lage sind die Zimmer ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist ausserdem sehr hochwertig und alles wirkt wirklich luxuriös. Immer wieder gerne! Sogar das hauseigene Restaurant ist sehr gut und hat mich sehr positiv beeindruckt.

Cons: The juice at breakfast appeared to have been watered down. It was not up to standard. The map provided by the hotel was very vague, sketchy and not satisfactory. A new coloured and more detailed map of the city centre needs to be provided to patrons.. The reception staff must try and separate those checking out from those checking in to save time and prevent confusion at busy times.

Perfectly located in front of Bologna train station, surrounded by great restaurants and tourist attractions. The room is spacious and well equipped with a small fridge; the soundproof windows were excellent at isolating any external noise. The hotel staff were also very good. It is recommended for short to mid-length stays in Bologna.
Cons: The hotel room is quite outdated, and the corridors are covered with carpet that, due to the hotel's age, was not looking good. The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub, which is not my preference.

La zona comunes de recepción era muy bonita y cómodas. La habitación familiar era muy amplia. El desayuno estaba bastante bien.. está situado al frente de la estación de tren y cerca de la calle principal de tiendas pero un poco alejado de la plaza mayor unos 20 minutos andando

Cons: For the price the room was very small. The fuse kept having to be reset. I am not sure if we were supposed to swipe card when got in but lights kept going on and off and the ac could not be adjusted.

Camerele sunt foarte spatioase, la fel si baia. Patul foarte confortabil, prosoapele si cosmeticele de calitate. Amplasarea este perfecta, foarte aproape de gara de unde se poate lua trenul catre aeroport.
Cons: Nu am nimic de reprosat. Personalul a fost foarte amabil, hotelul este curat, sunt si mici detalii precum faptul ca iti poti comanda a perna anume si bombonelele lasate pe noptiere.

Close to Milano Centrale. Lifts were very good, quick. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Air conditioning was good since temperatures outside were very hot.
Cons: Bath tub was very slippery. We put a towel in the bath tub to prevent slipping. A rubber bath mat would help. The Sheraton Hotel at Malpensa had one.

Abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade e ci hanno assegnato una Suite. Camera grande e pulitissima con salottino con divano e cabina armadio. Super il set di cortesia con accappatoi e pantofole. Colazione internazionale ottima con tante scelte. Personale gentilissimo e professionale. Di fronte alla piazza della stazione è ottima per gli spostamenti.

Cons: Ho avuto la sfortuna di avere la camera con il bagno a misura di chi è in sedia a carrozzella (doccia senza piatto doccia, ma tutt'uno con il pavimento). Pensavo, che sarà mai, c'è la tenda, il tombino di scarico, non si allagherà mica tutto il bagno... ed invece si, almeno la metà sarà piena di acqua.. costringendoti ad entrare in bagno scalzo o con ciabatte dedicate per non bagnare poi il resto della camera

Lo Starhotels Excelsior di Bologna e' ormai il nostro punto di riferimento ogni volta che decidiamo di visitare Bologna. Posizionato di fronte alla stazione centrale, e' comodissimo se si viaggia in treno ed e' a poca distanza dal centro citta'. Staff molto professionale e gentile, stanze pulite e molto comode.
Cons: Non ho nulla da segnalare. Forse il prezzo per una singola notte non e' stato basso ma questa e' ahime' una situazione che stiamo notando un po' ovunque specie in alta stagione

Room was spacious, bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was good. Location opposite the train station. There are eateries 3 mins walk away. Very nice place.
Cons: Nothing much. Mattress was a little too soft. The carpark entrance is a little hard to spot as it's between 2 pillars only 2.5m wide so you had to do a wide turn to get in. Tightest squeeze ever. We missed the entrance and had to go round the block.

Cons: Bu standartta bir otelde daha lezzetli kahvaltı beklemek mümkün. Çırpılmış yumurtada kadar basit bir kahvaltı içeriği dahi çok lezzetsizdi.
