Hotel is in a great area, you can walk to and from the hotel at any hour of the day and it feels very safe. There are nice restaurants and bakeries just down the street. There is also a laundromat right on the corner. The windows of the room opened up completely which was nice and you could get a breeze in.

Cons: Don't change towels daily. The shower pressure was abysmal. Only the handheld shower worked properly.

Very comfortable beds, small but modern and well equipped gym. Very lovely Asian guy and Greek girl at the front desk (sorry forgot their names) were very hospitable and welcoming, it was much appreciated. Great location!

Cons: The only thing I’d maybe change is the carpets which felt a bit old and could be redone. Rooms are small but that is typical for Paris.

I stayed here with my boyfriend in a signature suite and we had a lovely experience. The staff greeted us warmly and allowed us to check in early. I was excited about the Diptyque toiletries in the rooms and was slightly disappointed they were not the more recognizable scents but it was nice nonetheless. We enjoyed robes and the sheets were comfortable. We only traveled with carry-on luggage and probably would have struggled with space had we any additional baggage. The hotel had a beautiful bar and was in a fantastic location, sweet and quiet neighborhood. HOWEVER, there was a ton of construction on the street directly outside of the hotel and we were very lucky we were there for a weekend stay and were not affected by it really at all. But this would have been a huge nuisance otherwise. I do recommend overall!

This was our second stay at Hotel des Grand Voyageurs and it was just as wonderful a stay as it was the first time. The staff is very helpful. They not only helped us with a restaurant reservation, but for two people still nervous about the Metro, they helped confirmed our train itinerary so that we would have smooth ride on the Metro. It's not just the front desk staff that are wonderful, but the housekeeping staff as well. All in all a fantastic place to stay and the location cannot be better.

I am a french-speaking american who has traveled to Paris frequently. I was a guest at the hotel for three nights in early July and was very impressed. The decor is beautiful, the room is well-appointed, and the breakfast buffet is generous with much variety. The staff is friendly and attentive. I especially want to mention the very personable barman (with beautiful hair) who gave me ice in the evenings for sore knees. I didn't get his name but this was very much appreciated! I look forward to staying here again the next time I am in Paris.

What an amazing stay we had. Fantastic location and spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful and always there if you needed anything. Our room was perfect and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job each day. It was very very hot in Paris during our stay so it was a pleasure to get back to the hotel after being out exploring, fab air con! The breakfast was superb. We were made to feel very welcome and it was so peaceful and comfortable to just sit in the bar and relax. Very good value for money and worth every penny. We had a super 4 nights here and we are already planning to go back again. A big thank you to all the staff who made our stay memorable. They were all a credit to the hotel.

Clean and modern room, walk-in shower and air conditioning. Wonderful pillows. Smoothest elevator ride in my life. Bar and breakfast area is beautiful. Staff is very welcoming and were very responsive and helpful in modifying our stay. The hotel is located in a fantastic area with hundreds of small restaurants, bistros and cafe's. This area also has tons of small shops to cater to your any shopping whim. No chains here. The subway station and a great boulangerie is just around the corner (and across the street). One of my favorite hotels.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. Great value for money. Don's ask me to write another sentence, because there is nothing more to write.

The only negative is that the restaurant is no longer serving proper meals (other than breakfast) and the little bar downstairs is only for private events. This means that there is nowhere buzzy to hang out, just a small bar where check in is. Such a shame not to invest in the bar downstairs, especially, as it is so charming and such a great little bonus for guests. But this is a really charming hotel at a reasonable price.

The hotel is adequate at best. No way is this above 2-3 stars and I was surprised at the good coverage it received from CNTraveler, which has been trustworthy in the past. The room was tiny, and poorly laid out. It was formerly a Holiday Inn and a few decorating tricks couldn’t change that fact. The real issue was no room service. I had heat stroke and stayed in my room for a whole day. Lacking room service or concierge there is no good reason to stay at an over priced hotel vs. Airbnb. Breakfast was lame also and there are not the best cafes near this location, so another knock. Go elsewhere.

De kamer is netjes en schoon maar niet te groot, zeker niet als je 2 koffers wilt neerzetten. Het bed was uitstekend. De badkamer compleet. Het ontbijtbuffet was behoorlijk compleet en gevarieerd en lekker. Het hotel ligt 50 meter van een metro station en op 100 meter afstand is nog een ander station. De Boulevard Montparnasse is op loopafstand met heel veel prima restaurants. Het personeel aan de receptie is behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Cons: Het was moeilijk om te begrijpen hoe de verlichting werkt. De drankjes in de bar waren tamelijk duur.

Upon arrival, there was much confusion, and we had adjoining rooms, not a suite, and both had a single bed. A solo journey to Paris by way of London became even more special thanks to my stay at Hotel des Grands Voyageurs, which quickly became one of the most memorable highlights of my London trip. I had the junior suite which was simple yet beautifully designed and provided a comfortable retreat after long days spent wandering the Left Bank. The location was exceptional. I was able to walk to the Jardin du Luxembourg, explore Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and most importantly, visit the remarkable Leonora Carrington exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg, which was the inspiration for my overnight escape to Paris. What I appreciated most, however, was the atmosphere. Hotel des Grands Voyageurs possesses that rare quality of making a solo traveler feel both welcomed and completely at ease. Refined without being formal and stylish without trying too hard, it captures the spirit of the left bank beautifully. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Marco along with his front desk team. He was warm, cordial, professional, and exceptionally helpful throughout my stay. His gracious manner and genuine hospitality made me feel immediately welcome and added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. Both were a big draw for me when I booked the hotel but it wasn’t obvious from the website that neither were available. So initially we felt that we were in a posh ‘B&B’ but the feel of the hotel and the location, wonderful staff and overall atmosphere made up for this so that our stay overall was very enjoyable.

I was staying behind for another night alone, after my family left Paris. As a good Paris usually costs an arm and a leg, I booked something which I thought would be average. The hotel positively surprised me. It was clean, chic, and cozy. All I needed for my stay.

Cons: I generally don’t like carpet floors in hotel rooms. Having said that, it must have been kept well. It didn’t stink at all.

Cons: We had the delux room which was very small. More like a small attic room. The windows were up on the ceiling it has these remote controlled blinds from the outside of the window. We would close it completely at night because otherwise it’s bright in the morning since the windows are up on the ceilings. Felt like a coffin after you closed the window blinds. The lighting is also very dark. We had to remove the lamp shade cover to make the room brighter. For a four star hotel it’s very uncomfortable. I stayed at a 3 star hotel not far from here. Also an old building but the rooms are much bigger and actually nicer. Better priced too.

Hotel des Grands Voyageurs is a hotel straight from a Hercule Poirot novel. It is a breed of hotel that I thought had gone extinct long ago. The staff, particularly the manager Marco, makes guest comfort and experience an absolute priority, and I am at a loss for words. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and professional. They extended every possible courtesy to us, and gave us a terrific experience. The continental breakfast is fantastic. An excellent way to start the day before sightseeing, it truly gave me the vigor to get through a day of walking and museums! I wish I could thank everyone by name, but I would just like to reiterate my sincere thanks to Marco. Every time I came through the lobby, he would strike up a conversation like we were old friends. He is genuinely one of the kindest, well-humoured people I have ever met. We'll be staying here again on a return trip, I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

Rooms are quiet and relatively spacious. Location in the 6th was perfect for our visit, nearby Metro is easy to learn and gets you nearly everywhere. Walking distance to maybe 1000 cafe and restaurant, many first class dining options. Staff is friendly and efficient with a good bar with indoor and outdoor seating options. The breakfast is well attended, can't say much about it as we did not opt in. Beds are comfortable and everything is kept clean and tidy. Overall a great stay, highly recommend !!

Everything was first class, rooms, food, but most importantly, the staff, from top to bottom! We encountered Marco San Luis, the concierge, who helped us navigate an ubrupt cancellation of our Orsay Museum reservations, getting us replacements, literally, in a moment’s notice. But everyone else, from breakfast to late evening drinks went above and beyond. We hope for a repeat sooner than later. Julie Maynard

This is a small hotel within walking distance to several left bank attractions. The rooms are small and the carpet could be updated but they clean and the staff is very friendly, particularly Max Armstrong who assisted us multiple evenings relating to a business event that was hosted at the hotel. Like other french hotels we have stayed at, there was no shower door which inevitably leads to a wet bathroom floor but apparently that is how they do things here. Fortunately, they cleaned the room each day and it was tidy. I would ask for more caffeinated espresso and and extra towel or two.

I stayed at four different hotels on this trip to Paris, and out of the four, your hotel was the best. I wonder who designed it, because my room was stylishly and efficiently designed. Even the little details — for example, the corner shelf next to the mirror — gave me extra space to put my things…. It’s the little things like that that tourists and foreign visitors need the most. I should also mention that the location was very convenient, the room was extremely clean, and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely come back again.

Found this boutique hotel through a YouTube travel video and so glad I did! Also stumbled on a Goop article recommending it later. That’s a plus. Great location in the Saint German neighborhood. Easy walk to Jardin du Luxembourg and all the excellent eateries around. Sulaiman and Marco, two of the hotel staff, went above and beyond for us. That’s golden, especially when you’re not that familiar with Paris. Central to the hotel, in the lobby, there is a bar / restaurant / breakfast space where Max the bartender (with the beautiful hair) is the absolute best. Fun conversation, great information and perfect drinks. We had a junior suite that was the perfect size and came with a vintage looking record player and an album of a 1960s(?) French singer named Dalida that sounded great! Our room also had a big comfy king sized bed, a bathtub/shower combo and nice closet. We felt comfortable and, frankly, a little spoiled, and loved it as a home base for our short stay.

Beautiful hotel. We liked everything about it. The location is central and conveniently located in the Montparnesse area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even contacted me to let me know I left something behind. We had the junior suite which was spacious, very comfortable and really nicely decorated. We enjoyed the turntable and you can request albums according to taste. Breakfast was delicious with a wide assortment of food.

I have stayed at this hotel two times. I find that it is a good value. The location is a bit removed from the most "aesthetic" part of St. Germaine (6th arrondissement) but is a close walk to most Left Bank attractions. Service is quite good, breakfast is reasonably good, rooms are typically small for Paris, but a so-called Junior Suite (simply a larger room) is very comfortable. The building is relatively new construction so heating/cooling, water pressure, etc. function properly (something that cannot always be said of cheaper, older properties). I like to try a variety of hotels when I go to Paris, which is often, but I will always consider this hotel as a good, reliable option.

Rooms are very small, even by Paris standards. Many face the rear of the hotel and don't get much sunlight. The room pictured is not illustrative of a standard room. Front desk (most not all) and bartenders were not very friendly. On our last night, we tried to get a drink at the bar. Other patrons were still there yet we were told that the bar was closed and we should try to UberEats a glass of wine. We were there for four nights in two rooms, so this felt particularly rude. Toiletries were not refilled and our rooms were not serviced until very late in the day (5pm). We'll make a different choice next time.

You can’t beat the location—right in the center of town and easy to get to all the major sights. The nearest subway station was a few steps away. Lots of restaurants nearby and walkable to the river (30 min). The neighborhood was quiet and calm, and we felt very safe at night. Service was amazing—the staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, lots of cold and hot options, so many kinds of fresh bread.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind! The rooms aren’t particularly large but that is normal for european standards.

The apartment is absolutely wonderful — very spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The view is simply amazing: opening the window to see the Seine is truly special. Arriving by the lift to the top floor - the lift opens directly into the appart -with such a great view is special. The location couldn’t be better. It’s in a great neighborhood, and you can reach Notre-Dame in just a few minutes on foot. The host is also very kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely love to come back.

We enjoyed our recent stay at HDGV. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient. We were able to walk to key attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Notre Dame as well as many nice restaurants, cafes and shops. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of offerings. There is a nice bar at the hotel with friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. We had adjoining rooms - a junior suite and a signature king. The suite was excellent - roomy, quiet and comfortable with a nice mini bar and snacks and a full bathroom. The signature king was nice as well but on the small side. Fortunately it was just our daughter staying in this room as I think it would have been a bit cramped for my wife and me.

Truthfully this was a random pick on Booking.com and I was so please. Max was a ton of fun and gave helpful suggestions on where we should explore. I will be back.

The staff were all fantastic, the art deco aesthetic was spot on and we just generally loved the hotel. Lots of small touches made our anniversary trip brilliant and we’d highly recommend! The breakfast is a little pricey for what it is, but that might be because it felt a bit hectic at the busiest time on a Saturday morning, although worth mentioning everything was delicious, all perfectly cooked. Overall we’d definitely come back again.

The hotel pays a lot of attention to small details, like adding gluten free buns for breakfast, having steel water bottles that can be refilled at the reception, having cosmetics from Diptyque, along with tableware from Villeroy and Boch. Also, offered breakfast is very extensive, and suits for people who eat healthy (there are enough vegetables, diverse protein options, fruits, berries and so on.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel from beginning to end. The welcome was exceptionally warm and friendly, and the staff were professional, kind, and very hospitable throughout our visit. The rooms were spacious by Paris standards and very comfortable. We had two connecting rooms, which made our stay especially pleasant and personal. One small point for improvement: only one of the rooms had coffee and tea facilities, which would have been nice to have in both. The breakfast was good, and the bar was cozy and enjoyable. My birthday was even wonderfully organized during our stay, which made the experience extra special—thanks in part to the effort of my husband and my friend as well. We would certainly love to come back again.

Mooi hotel met vriendelijk personeel op een goede locatie, vlakbij Jardin du Luxembourg en bij metrolijn 4. Kamer was verzorgd, met een groot bed en een moderne badkamer.

Cons: We hadden de "Signature Kamer met Queensize Bed" (die werd geupgrade naar King) wel groter verwacht, zeker omdat we toch 600 EUR betaalden voor 2 nachten. Bovendien werd het zeer warm in de kamer 's nachts, maar konden we de airco niet echt gebruiken omdat deze heel veel lawaai maakte.

Великолепный отель! Он просто невероятно стильный в каждой мелочи и детали, просто эстетическая услада. При заезде написали письмо, подарки подарок - носочки и шоколад, при выезде тоже написали благодарственное письмо. В номере тепло, хотя во время поездки было очень холодно на улице. Несколько раз ходили на завтрак, выбор не супер большой, но все есть, продукты высокого качества. А какой красивый бар на первом этаже! Было приятным удивлением, что у отеля есть сауна и спорт зал, к сожалению, сходить не успели, поэтому не могу ничего написать. В общем, я очень советую этот отель, плюс, еще и находится в самом лучшем районе.

We were very well taken care of. My dog even had a bed and bowls waiting for him in the room. We loved the little details of the room. It is located in a fantastic place. Everything was pretty walkable for us. Very quiet, as we were hoping for. It was very handy to have parking in the building as well. We loved the reusable water bottles that we could bring. They were very accommodating.

The bed is very comfortable thats my favorite part. The location is also great; 1. very good access to public transportations 2. very safe neighborhood 3. There are plenty of food, shops, and mall in walking distance. Also the shampoo, soap, lotion etc are all from diptique and smells amazing.

Cons: We stayed in the kings signature room (mid sized one of the hotel) and the room still felt crowded for two very skinny girls. The poppy bar was only opened for privatization which was actually something we really looked forward in visiting but didn't get to go.

Cons: Il n'a aucun room service ce qui est vraiment décevant pour cette gamme de prix et dans ce cas l'hotel devrait au moins proposer des mini bar remplis, ils sont à ce jour - comme dans beaucoup d'hotel vide avec juste 2 bouteilles d'eau. C'est dommage car cela fait partie de l'expérience d'un hotel haut de gamme. C'est mon troisième séjour et je trouve que le chauffage- climatiseur fonctionne mal et fait beaucoup de bruit. Le rapport qualité prix de l'hotel est assez mauvais.

De inrichting van het hotel door Fabrizio Casiraghi is magnifiek. Op het hotel an sich valt niks op te merken: het is prachtig, charmant en fantastisch goed gelegen.

Cons: Het barpersoneel daarentegen hoorde er niet thuis, was antipathiek, had gewoon geen zin om drankjes te serveren en dat was aan alles te merken. Om 22u mochten we nog één drankje bestellen, verschillende gasten die na ons kwamen kregen zelfs geen drankje meer geserveerd: jammer voor de hotelbar. Dan baat je beter geen hotelbar uit. very charming and comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The room isn’t large, but it’s perfectly fine for two people. The location is a bit away from the city center, but the nearby metro makes getting around very convenient.

Le confort de la chambre et des parties communes, la très grande gentillesse de l’ensemble du personnel.

Cons: L’équipement de la douche n’est pas très actuel : robinetterie, éclairage. L’éclairage général de la chambre un peu faible à mon goût.

While the hotel is very nice and is located in a wonderful neighborhood, some of the staff are not up to the professional level I would expect of this tier of a hotel. I booked it specifically, because a Conde Nast article mentioned how great it was for families. Unfortunately, there was not much effort by the front desk staff to expedite an early check-in for us despite us having traveled for 18 hours and arrived very tired or prioritize our room since we were traveling with a child. There was no effort to make our wait more comfortable in the small lobby or to give us updates. A bit disappointing given how nice the hotel is.

Awesome hotel, great junior suite very comfortable and well equipped. There is no need for ac adapters because all the walls have USB-A and USB-C direct plugins. Excellent location near restaurants, bus stops, Metro stations, grocery stores, pharmacy, Piere herme coffee shop and so on. The staff is very hospitable, friendly and helpful.

Cons: One thing and one minor thing only, the water pressure in the tub is kinda low and it is difficult to take a quick shower because of it
