Hotel clássico com uma arquitetura requintada. Os ambientes internos são finamente decorados, com muito bom gosto. Excelente localização, perto do centro, da estação do trem e com muitos bares e restaurantes ao redor. Atendimento de toda a equipe foi educado e cordial, destaque para o barmen. O conforto dos quartos é excelente, com ótima climatização e conforto das camas. O banheiro é um clássico, todo em mármore, com ótimo chuveiro e amenidades. A vista da sacada ao por do sol é "superb" ! O café da manhã é fantástico e delicioso, um brunch com muitas opções quentes e frias, e uma seleção incrível de pães.
Cons: Nosso "único porém" com o hotel foi a extrema demora na disponibilização do nosso carro. Esperamos "mais de 1 (uma) hora" para trazerem o carro no check-out. A recepção informou que deveríamos ter avisado com antecedência, e a demora (normal) é entre 30 a 45 minutos para a disponibilização, e o preço é de 30 Euros. Achei meio desproporcional este tempo. Portanto, atenção a este detalhe se vc está de carro e deixou no estacionamento do hotel. em frente há um estacionamento público, mais acessível e barato. De resto tudo perfeito.

Located in a superb area on the waterfront with everything you could want in walking distance. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Choice of breakfast items is unbelievable. Cater for all tastes and requirements. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Die Räume des Hotels sind imperial und großzügig, Das Ambiente ist sehr gut. Der Balkon mit Meerblick gestattet eine Rauchpause mit Prosecco. Die Zufahrt mit PKW von Süden ist einfach. Der Parkservice um € 30,00 funktioniert gut. Dasselbe gilt für die Damen und Herren der Rezeption.

Cons: Absolut unfreundliches, desinteressiertes Personal. Ein No-Go in einem sogenannten STARHOTEL. Sehr schade, daß ein an sich herrschaftlichen, traditionelles Haus so schlecht geführt wird. Verdreckter Teppichboden im Zimmer, schimmlige Fugen im Bad. Wir können das Hotel definitiv nicht empfehlen.

Great location and excellent breakfast. The staff really hustled to keep the food refreshed, the tables clean and clear for the guests. Bathroom in the room was nice and clean. Outstanding soup from room service menu! Doormen were friendly.
Cons: If I’m paying over $300 a night I don’t want stained carpet in my room. Reception was polite and efficient but that doesn’t exactly display warmth and welcome. I also requested an invoice be emailed to me but I still haven’t received one.

Cons: Main entrance door, not very convenient to go through it with luggage. Breakfast fits more 3 stars hotel. Cold starters are fine but the hot part should be improve significantly. Cut sausages, frittata aren’t good quality. Frittata was dried already at the beginning of breakfast time. Strange that there weren’t any fresh cucumbers. I understand the approach to set people to ask additional meals by money but in general breakfast is okay, not fine. And one small point, breakfast starts 7 am but you can hardly find waiters to bring a coffee.

Lokacija hotela je odlična. Osebje dobro skrbi za goste, kot tudi za staro stavbo s tradicijo, v kateri se danes hotel nahaja. Oprema hotela je dobro vzdrževana. V sobi je bil aparat za pripravo kave Illy, vendar premalo kapsul s kavo in mlekom.
Cons: V jedilnici je premalo prostora in gostje moramo čakati na prazno mizo. Predlagam, da ponudbo razširite tudi z ovsenimi kosmiči.

Gemischte Erfahrung im Savoia Excelsior Palace Die Anreise war grundsätzlich sehr einfach. Direkt beim Hotel angekommen, wurde unser Auto von einer externen Firma übernommen und ins Parkhaus gebracht, was gut organisiert wirkte. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, sodass man vieles in der Umgebung bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Allerdings merkt man dem Hotel deutlich an, dass es schon in die Jahre gekommen ist und vermutlich seine besten Zeiten hinter sich hat. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass unser Zimmer sehr ruhig war, was für eine erholsame Nacht gesorgt hat. Leider war der Eindruck bei der Abreise nicht gut: Die Dame an der Rezeption konnte uns nicht erklären, wie sich die Preise genau zusammensetzen, und wirkte dabei sehr genervt. Hier wäre ein freundlicherer Kundenkontakt definitiv wünschenswert gewesen. Mit diesem eher schlechten Gefühl sind wir schließlich abgereist und werden das Hotel vermutlich nicht noch einmal besuchen.
Cons: Es ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und meiner Meinung nach nicht das Geld wert. Bei der Abreise wurden wir sehr unfreundlich von der Rezeption abgespeist. Es war nicht möglich uns die einzelnen Kosten zu erklären. Es stimmte auch die Zimmernummer mit der Rechnung nicht überein. Unfähigkeit trifft auf Überheblichkeit.

Wir hatten ein Superior-Zimmer gebucht. Wir bekamen ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick und Balkon. Das Hotel ist ein wunderschön renoviertes altes Grand-Hotel. Obwohl es direkt an der Küstenstraße liegt, hört man im Zimmer überhaupt keinen Straßenlärm. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgezeichnet und wenn man Glück hat kann man direkt am Fenster mit Blick nach Miramare frühstücken. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und kommen bei unserem nächsten Triest-Aufenthalt 100%ig wieder !

es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes, altes Hotel mit langer Geschichte. Die Lage ist herausragend. Von dort ist man mitten im Zentrum der Stadt oder auch gleich am Meer. Die noble Ausstattung gibt final ein gutes Gefühl. Verdunklung, Matratzen, Bad, Wasserdruck im obersten Stock alles sehr gut. Lautstärke im Teil zur Stadt hin völlig okay
Cons: für ein Hotel seiner Klasse fallen die Zimmer doch deutlich zu klein aus. 15 m² erlauben nicht einmal einen Sessel. Wer abends etwas chillen will, muss im Bett sitzen oder liegen. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Stadt hin das ist erfreulich ruhig. Ansonsten hat man ja die große Straße vor der Tür. Der Ausblick aufs Meer ist sicher von dort toll kostet aber ein gutes Stück extra. Enttäuschend war, dass das angekündigte Wellness nur aus einem Dampfbad besteht. Das dann auch nach 1 Stunde nicht richtig aufgeheizt werden konnte. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse okay wäre aber für ein Luxushotel außerhalb Italiens absolut unter Kategorie. Insgesamt außerhalb der Saison für den Preis okay. Für wie Hochsaison würde ich es mir wohl nicht leisten wollen

Cons: Hajgumi járt a szobához, de fogkefe és fogkrém nem. Kopasz vagyok, de a fogaim megvannak, így utóbbiakat hasznosabbnak véltem volna. Persze ettől még tök jó hely, mindenfélével felszerelt szobákkal, csak ha már kell valami negatívum akkor ez lenne az.

Pulizia eccellente. Non ho trovato un filo di polvere da nessuna parte. Camera ampia e luminosa, letto, cuscini, lenzuola e biancheria del bagno perfetti. Personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Bravi a tutti.
Cons: Migliorerei la colazione, non all'altezza a mio avviso. Proporrei crepe fatte al momento e la parte "dolce" era un pò scarsa in termini di scelta.

Without a doubt, the best hotel in the Friuli region. An impeccably maintained property, with flawless rooms offering breathtaking sea views. The staff on reception went above and beyond, to make our stay memorable. Complimentary upgrade, as we were celebrating a special occasion. The views from the balcony were spectacular! Very large and comfortable room, with a sparkling marble bathroom. Cocktail bar was plush with delicious free snacks brought out with our drinks. Gym was conveniently located on the top floor.

I loved the location. Our room had two private balconies overlooking the waterfront. The sunsets were tremendous. The breakfast was outstanding. The concierge was extremely kind and helpful. All his suggestions were worthwhile.

The hotel was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The room we were in 121 was superb with beautiful sea views. The beds were so comfortable.
Cons: The Trieste Film Festival was taking place at the hotel at the same time, which meant that parts of the lobby were extremely busy, and we were asked to move from the otherwise very comfortable library while waiting for a cocktail.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung, alles wirkt hochwertig und gepflegt. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, aufmerksam und unkompliziert. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Zimmer sind groß, ruhig und gut ausgestattet. Genau so, wie man es sich wünscht, wenn man nach einem langen Tag zurückkommt. Die Lage ist ein echtes Highlight. Direkt vor dem Hotel über die Straße und man steht praktisch schon am Hafen. Rundherum gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bars und Cafés. Essen ist also kein Thema. Und für ein Gute-Nacht-Getränk findet sich immer etwas in Gehweite. Auch das Zentrum von Triest ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders am Abend macht es richtig Spaß, rund um das Hotel durch die Stadt zu schlendern, die Atmosphäre zu genießen und einfach treiben zu lassen. Unterm Strich: sehr gute Lage, tolles Hotel, freundliche Menschen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen.
Cons: Was mir weniger gefallen hat, betrifft das Thema Parken. Wie bei vielen Hotels wird hier offenbar zunehmend über Parkgebühren Geld gemacht. 30 € pro Nacht fürs Parken sind aus meiner Sicht sehr hoch. Einer der teuersten Preise, die ich bisher erlebt habe. Kostenfreie Parkplätze in Triest zu finden, ist generell schwierig. Man braucht Geduld und oft auch etwas Glück. Eine Alternative ist, etwas außerhalb zu parken und dann mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Stadt zu fahren. Das funktioniert grundsätzlich gut. Kleiner Geheimtipp: Hinter dem Hotel gibt es eine Straße mit Bereichen, die nicht kostenpflichtig sind. Kein Garant, aber einen Versuch wert.

Cons: The bathroom was subpar for the Junior suite and the hotel exclusivity. The shower door didn’t properly close which caused the flooding we had to deal with. The water pressure was bad and the temperature was hard to control

At our arrival we have not been advised that the room was set for disable. The sink was below my hips and I found it very uncomfortable to use At the check out we were not ask " How was your stay" but if it was okay to keep the 36euro on the bill as tip.

Struttura impeccabile sia fuori il palazzo che dentro, avuto l’accesso alla camera abbiamo notato un difetto nel bagno ma comunicandolo lo staff é stato davvero molto disponibile e ha immediatamente provveduto quindi molto apprezzato. Per il resto davvero un soggiorno stupendo.

Bellissimo palazzo d epoca, raffinato e signorile.. con ampi spazi comuni come la sala bar e biblioteca.. ho usato anche la saletta con i computer per lavorare un paio d ore.. ottima l accoglienza alla reception.. bellissima la camera superior vista mare con terrazzino.. ottima e rilassante vista.. doppi vetri che garantiscono silenzio e non dispersione del calore.. letto Queen grande e comodissimo, riposo assoluto.. pulizia ottima.. la posizione dell albergo è eccezionale in pieno centro.. buon rapporto qualità prezzo.. cura dei dettagli.. grazie torneremo
Cons: Migliorabile la colazione.. il primo giorno c era la fila con qualcuno anche che la saltava e passava avanti.. gli altri due giorni senza fila.. prodotti dolci buoni ma non artigianali e di poca varietà.. la spremuta non era espressa e non buonissima.. frutta secca mancavano noci.. mancavano varietà di semi.. comunque complessivamente colazione discreta..

Overall a very comfortable place, in a fantastic location, with beautiful sea views from the Deluxe rooms. Service was somewhat patchy (e.g. nothing happened when we reported a broken toilet in our room), sometimes friendly and at other times less so, and the restaurant staff were a bit confused about gluten-free. These are minor issues but I mention them as they shouldn’t really happen in a 5-star hotel.

Exzellente Lage. Gutes Frühstück, aber zu wenig Platz - teilweise muss man Schlange stehen, bevor man einen Tisch bekommt.
Cons: Das Zimmer war völlig unangemessen für den Preis (350€ pro Nacht für die Einzelnutzung mit Frühstück). Abgenutzte Möbel, schmutziger Teppichboden. Dazu Kleinigkeiten, die stören: kein Garderobehaken für den Mantel, keine Steckdose beim Nachttisch für das Handy.

Cons: Das Personal beim Frühstück ist sehr unkoordiniert, und beherrscht es, immer dann weg zu schauen, wenn man es brauchen würde ich habe 2mal Spiegelei bestellt, das erst nach Reklamation gekommen ist, in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie muss man für jedes weitere Eigericht extra bezahlen, auf den Kaffee haben wir immer sehr lange gewartet, das Geschirr wurde beim letzten Bissen schon abserviert. Das Essen beim Gala Diner zu Silvester wurde leider immer kalt serviert.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione fantastica. E' accanto a piazza Italia e in pieno centro. Si arriva facilmente dalla stazione. A piedi ci vuole un quarto d'ora, oppure ci sono gli autobus urbani che fermano davanti all'hotel. I servizi sono ottimi e lo staff è gentilissimo.

Cons: Eines vorweg: Das Hotel ist echt schön, die Lage top. Ich bewerte das Hotel nur aufgrund eines Kriteriums schlecht und, wie mit meiner Rückmeldung darauf von der Dame an der Réception umgangen worden ist. Meine Kritik betrifft also nicht das gesamte Personal, sondern nur dieses eine Kriterium und diese Dame. Und darum geht es mir: Der Teppich in unserem Zimmer war eine absolute Katastrophe. Vom Eingang bis zur Balkontüre, schlicht jede begehbare Teppichfläche, war irgendwo und irgendwie beschmutzt. Es war richtig eklig. Barfuss herumzugehen kam nicht in Frage. Das geht meiner Meinung nach bei so einem Hotel einfach nicht. Ebenso enttäuschend war die Reaktion beim Check-out. Erst als alles abgewickelt war, frage mich die Réceptionistin ohne vom Computer aufzusehen, wie es gewesen sei. Als ich meine Rückmeldung zum Teppich gab, kam keine Reaktion. Auf meine Nachfrage erklärte mir die Dame recht säuerlich, dass das Hotel Bescheid wisse. Als ich nochmals nachfragte, wieso die Gäste dann in so ein Zimmer geschickt würden, antwortete sie mir, es sei schon sauber ... Da merkte ich, dass es keinen Zweck hatte, dieser Dame etwas erklären zu wollen. Von einem Hotel dieser Klasse erwarte ich einfach mehr. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden, das hier so zu bemängeln und meiner Enttäuschung über den Zimmerteppich und die Reaktion der Angestellten Ausdruck zu verleihen. Falls die Hotelleitung an meinem Originalfilm über den Teppich interessiert sein sollte, freue ich mich über eine Kontaktaufnahme.

Zelo prostorna soba s pogledom na morje, kot stanovanje. Udobna ogromna postelja. Zajtrk odličen, v zelo lepi veliki dvorani. Izjemno lep bar.
Cons: Vsi najmanjši dodatki so za doplačilo. Vodo, ki jo dobiš zastonj bi lahko dali vsaj neke boljše znamke in v večji embalaži, da bo vredna hotelskega imena.
