Cons: Oha vriendelijk maar er is overal in het gebouw veel teveel licht en was overal veel te fel en overal muziek. Muziek vanaf het ontbijt tot 's avonds. Verschrikkelijk al dat licht en geluid!. Het gebouw is bezaaid met lampen en de lampen die ze gebruiken zijn veel te fel! Zonnebril op in het gebouw en vooral in de badkamer.

The staff at the hotel were incredible. From reception, to the restaurant staff and even the maids - all absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much for them. The rooms were immaculate. Clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and the location was ideal for us.
Cons: Breakfast was largely basic but did the job. I just wish the pool was heated. It wasn’t necessarily too cold but had it been warmer, my children would have enjoyed it a little more.

Ich war in den letzten 4 Jahren mehrmals jährlich im Idou Anfa. Die Infrastruktur (grosse Lobby, Pool, Fitness, Zimmer) ist sehr gut, ebenfalls die Lage. Die meisten Zimmer gehen auf die Hinterseite und sind somit ziemlich ruhig.
Cons: Für ein 4* Hotel ist das kalte Buffet recht mässig. Die Salate sind ein wenig lieblos und immer dieselben. Dasselbe gilt für die Früchte.

J'y séjour pour la troisième fois, et cette fois-ci l'hôtel a été rénové, il gagne une étoile de plus quatre au lieu de trois. TOUT est au rvd, un personnel très professionnel, une décoration très désigne (moderne et traditionnel), hygiène irréprochable, literie très confortable en plus de qualité, linge de ch. parfait, les repas/buffets délicieux/variés, emplacement idéal (tt a proximité) et SANS OUBLIÉ, la piscine 🥰 Vraiment tout est bien pensé, UN GRAND BRAVO A TOUTE L'ÉQUIPE et merci beaucoup. 👏 🥰

First time visitor to Morocco and quite honestly didn't know what to expect. As Americans we are conditioned to think of many foreign places as backwards, dirty, crime infested, etc. and many people in America would view Morocco that way. Well, if I had any doubts, our first night in this modern, well run hotel quickly dispelled them. Our room was clean and modern. I hope you like your mattress extra firm because ours was super, extra film. Still, I was so tired from the flight(s) from Seattle, that I slept like a baby. But it is the people who make the hotel special. The two front desk people, Walid and a very nice young lady were so helpful and engaging that we needed up talking to them for 20 minutes. They answered our questions and made change from the big bills we got from an ATM. Dinner was disappointing in terms of food quality. Sure, it was a buffet and you could eat as much as you wanted but at our age we came quality over quantity and the quality wasn't there. Except for the desserts which were fabulous! Be warned that while our dinner was included in the cost of the tour, beverages, even water was extra. Our server, Lalood was professional as well as friendly and was another person who made us feel welcome. Based on what we experienced on our first night in Morocco, we can't wait to see the rest of the country.

Il a été très compliqué auprès de la réception d'obtenir une nouvelle chambre satisfaisante. La piscine est plus que décevante (peu ensoleillée, petite, peu nettoyée)

Cons: The facilities were not the best. The fridge wasn’t working and therefore we asked the team to change it as we had milk which needed to be stored inside. They changed it, however it still didn’t work. The next day we asked for the fridge to be sorted again, however it still didn’t work. 3 days later, we finally had a fridge that worked but our milk had gone off 2 times! Secondly, the A/C was not working and it was very warm and uncomfortable at night. Lastly, our room door wouldn’t close properly and would become stiff.

Nous avons séjournés que 2 nuits. Petit + pour le spa qui nous a fait du bien (prix raisonnable : 30€ pour 30min, 50€ pour 1h)

Smoothest check-in I've ever seen and polite, helpful staff overall. Decent breakfast (including soups) and a clean, upgraded room with views. Room-service food was okay and not too pricey. Lounge bar upstairs has nightly shows, cozy ambience and good tea. Luggage storage was nicely streamlined.
Cons: Getting things delivered to the room is a drag - iron needs to be ordered from the front desk but it takes up to an hour to arrive and will be taken away the same day (we didn't know that). There are few lights in the room and especially in the bathroom - just one overhead bulb casting cold clinical light, no backlit mirror.

Great hotel - thought it was very clean and well attended. Staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasant. Location was excellent! The places we found interesting were between 15 - 35 minute walk from the hotel which we thought was great.
Cons: The bathroom/toilet - extremely clean and modern BUT the glass is see through into the room. The glass is misted so there is no direct visibility of the shower but you can make out quite a bit. The entrance to the room passes directly in front of the toilet and there is no misting of the glass at eyelevel meaning a glance in the wrong way and privacy will be lost. I have seen this feature in a lot of modern hotels so it's not just here (I have no idea why or how it got introduced) but it did make sharing a room that much more awkward. The breakfast options cold have been improved but it wasn't a dealbreaker.

First impressions were that this was a very nicely decorated and furnished hotel. The concierge was excellent. The lady on reception polite and the next day very complimentary. However the older guy on reception when I asked him to get us a taxi he was irritated and then asked concierge to get it but instead of informing me he left us sitting there like lemons. This level of belligerence by reception staff isn’t acceptable. Our room was immaculately clean and the housekeeping staff were absolutely excellent. Kind and caring did a great job. The hotel is mainly kept very clean but the swimming pool is filthy green algae growing on the wall of the pool. I had a serious accident in the swimming pool and have gone home in pain I injured my coccyx which is damaged and I could have ended up in hospital as my head banged off the ground with such force. I slipped backwards as the water runs out from the shower that is at the entrance to the pool area. Not only is the shower in a stupid place the tiled floor is extremely slippery and the tiling isn’t safe for a pool area. There are mats around the pool there should be a mat outside the shower area to prevent slipping. There’s also no changing rooms in the pool area. The only changing rooms are located inside the gym which isn’t conducive. We stayed here for a week. As brits we like a beer and wine with a meal same as the French and most international countries. This hotel does not sell alcohol and the day we wanted to eat in the restaurant we were banished to a smoky cafe area to eat a meal because frustratingly on Friday there was a huge deluge of tourists and locals who hijacked every eating area in the place. Still the food we did have was delicious. There was no way we would have eaten in the buffet it was like a cattle market. However given the way the hotel disregarded the needs of guests staying longer than a night we went elsewhere to the Barceló down the road for food and drink with a good selection of wines and very attentive friendly staff which was excellent and a far better service and ambience. The Idou Anfa hotel must lose a lot of business because of the lack of food and drink options for international travellers. We ate and drank Moroccan food and wine which is what we came for! I appreciate we were in a Muslim country and it was Ramadan too and I wouldn’t have even mentioned about wine etc what really got me was the huge private function and that awful buffet took precedence over everything and there was no where for us to have a peaceful meal room service the phone was off the hook for hours. We had been out site seeing all day and really wanted to relax with a lovely meal even if it was minus wine instead we had to sit in the cafe area to eat and have people smoking cigarettes which is disgusting. In this day and age there should be no smoking. We had a room at the back and banging and building work kept me awake at 3am. This was only on one night before Eid and wasn’t the hotels fault. The breakfast was plentiful such a huge variety most days we got food. There was also an eggs option. But many days we got there between 9.30 and 10.15 no bread for toast left no Moroccan tea and other items not replenished. So if you do stay here ensure you attend breakfast before 8.30am

Cons: La garantie ( caution via pré-autorisation bancaire ) a été débloquée 1 mois après mon séjour càd le 07.03.2025 et ce après plusieurs mails. Ils disaient que c'était notre banque alors que ma banque ( Européenne ) m'a confirmé 2 fois que c'est l'hôtel qui a mis une date de remboursement après 1 mois. Ce n'est pas correcte , il faut avertir les clients que la garantie restera bloquée plus d'un mois mais surtout il faut arrêter ce système. Il faut aussi savoir que le système de climatisation ( pour la plus part des chambres ) n'est pas individualisé , si vous voulez allumer la climatisation en février, parce que dans votre chambre il fait assez chaud , il y a des fortes chances que vous ne pourrez pas. ( Message destiné uniquement dans un but constructif et j'y retournerai si ces problèmes vécus sont réglés ). Sinon l'hôtel est très bien placé.

Room was very clean - shared the room with a friend and it was a bit tight but we managed. Location was alright - its about 30 mins walk from Hassan II Mosque and the beach. There is a convenience store next door which was great to get bottled water. Starbucks was right in front, next to Burger King. there are also a few nice restaurants around the area. Spa was good - with a small swimming pool.

J’ai séjourné une nuit à IDOU ANFA, et tout était impeccable du début à la fin. La chambre était exactement comme sur les photos du booking, propre, confortable et avec une vue magnifique sur la ville, comme je le souhaitais. Un grand merci à Walid de l’accueil, qui a été au top ! Il nous a reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse, a pris en compte toutes nos demandes et a fait en sorte que notre expérience soit parfaite. Un service client vraiment à la hauteur ! 👏

I was so happy with my stay in Idou Anfa. The staff was wonderful and hospitable Everyone greeted me with genuine kindness from the moment my taxi dropped me off. My room was perfect and had all I needed and even a great view. I will absolutely stay again! The location is excellent and you can walk to anything you want or need . It’s for me the prime locaton in the heart of Casa. Thank you all the management team and staff for being rigorous about all the details that matters .

The food was beyond excellent I recommend their restaurant it will make your stay perfect and you will enjoy proper Moroccan food.
Cons: The air-conditioning was deactivated by the hotel the explanation I had was " it's the beginning of spring and the temperature of the city doesn't require any heating and cooling" which was true at some point. However, Air-conditioning is for me something that is important especially when I have a shower early in the morning and at night when the temperature was very low in Casablanca and I felt cold.
