Cons: Le petit couloir qui mène à la chambre, peinture cloquée. Cela donne déjà le ton. La chambre, beaucoup de détails pas digne d’un établissement comme celui ci. Intérieur de l’armoire revêtement déchiré, porte de l’armoire difficile à fermer, portant des peignoirs désolidarisé du mur, pied de meuble salle de bain abîmés, fuite du robinet de la douchette au Wc, lustre avec une bougie et abat jour tordu.. des détails mais qui me semblent important dans ce genre d’établissement. Je suppose donc que les chambres attribuées sur Booking sont celles de la fourchette basse de l’établissement, première expérience décevante de ce genre dans un établissement haut de gamme(en réservant sur Booking) Dommage !

It is one of those bucket list experiences if you’re on the Côte d’Azur. A beautiful venue. Brilliant staff. A sense of old school charm and nobility about the place. A beautiful place to relax and just take an hour to unwind. Visually stunning in many areas. We really liked it. It is pricey though. Expect 30€ per drink. But it is about the experience really. I would recommend doing it, even if you only do it once. A great treat for your partner. A great ambiance. Gives you that special feeling, and a welcome break from some of the hustle of Nice. It was great for us. We went twice during our 4 days in Nice. Had one drink each per visit, and it was just great. There’s no rush in there, and no pressure to keep buying. They give you a table in the bar, and it’s yours until YOU choose to leave. The staff make it special for everyone.

I was there for my birthday and the staff spoiled me with flowers, chocolate and letters. We did not just stay at the Negresco. We stepped into history. The dome rises above the sea like a crown. Pink. Proud. Unapologetic. The Mediterranean light hits the façade and everything glows. You feel small in front of it. And at the same time, chosen. Inside, it is not a hotel. It is a museum where you are allowed to sleep. Marble floors. Heavy doors. Silence that carries stories. Each room is different. Ours felt like a private apartment from another century. High ceilings. Thick curtains. A bed that makes you rest the way kings must have rested—deep and without fear. Breakfast was simple and perfect. Fresh fruit. Strong coffee. No rush. Outside, the sea waited. The Promenade des Anglais stretched long and bright. We walked early. The air was clean. The water was calm. Nice felt alive but gentle. Service was precise. Not loud. Not fake. They move like they know they are part of something bigger than themselves. Because they are. The Negresco is not fashion. It is legacy. You do not book the Negresco for a deal. You book it for a story. And when you leave, you carry a piece of that legend with you. If you want modern and cold, go elsewhere. If you want soul, history, and the sea at your feet—this is the place. Some hotels are comfortable. The Negresco is unforgettable.

I'm really sad to write this review as my stay at Le Negresco early January 2026 was lovely and I was looking forward to repeat visits (great staff/service, big, beautiful room with comfy bed, breakfast nice with lots of options although the food wasn't amazing)....BUT, I spent several hours in the wet spa and came home with a horrendous bacterial infection (I suspect the hammam/steam room was the culprit as there is absolutely NO other possible cause (especially since I shaved my legs the day before my trip)). This infection spread across both legs and was horrible - super painful and itchy and required multiple doctor visits and intense antibiotics (with bad side effects) to treat. It's a month later and the skin on my legs is still discolored. I'm leaving such a bad review because when I raised the issue with their management, my concern was basically dismissed with an arrogant and negative tone. I will never again frequent this establishment and I highly encourage you to avoid it. They preach the importance of customer experience but completely lack the trust and goodwill required to win customer loyalty. Yet another company who's supposed values amount to just words on a website. I would never in a million years expect a 5* hotel to be so lacking in their attention to hygiene, nor would I expect to be treated or spoken to in such a crappy manner. STAY AWAY!

This is it, this is the standard for hotel service. I have been to hotels around Europe and the world. This was by far the highest level of service I have ever seen in a hotel. This hotel will set the standard. Rooms were perfect, front desk and valet great, maid staff came in twice a day. To understand the level of service they wrap your charger cables in the evening turn around. Honestly the only thing wrong with this hotel was the lack of sleep mode on the T.V. That is it. I can't think of one thing wrong in the three nights we were there. The employees were amazing, they would even apologies for the weather as it rained one day. We ate at Rotunda for dinner and breakfast, fantastic meals. While we were there in off season it did not feel like it given the level of service we experienced every single moment in the hotel. There is no way I would stay anywhere else in Nice. And the location is fantastic.

This was our third visit to Le Negresco, and it could not have gone better. The hotel was beautifully done up for Christmas, as were Nice and the surrounding towns, which made for a festive atmosphere. The entire Negresco staff was friendly and welcoming. In particular, we have to thank Louis for all of his help with setting up this stay and making it a memorable one. He is a true asset to the hotel, and a very nice guy. Also Hayat, who made us very welcome at breakfast - she is a doll and a true professional at her job. And Olivier was so kind to help find medicine for my cold, among other things he assisted us with. And Kevin who always had a smile when he brought us our car. And Lorinne who checked us in and said a warm bonjour each time we crossed her path. I wish I could name all of the other staff who made this trip special. But suffice it to say, you will not regret a stay at Le Negresco. Beautiful hotel, lovely views of the Med, very good food at La Rotunde, and a cozy bar with good snacks and drinks. We've already booked our return stay.

Excellent location on the promenade des anglais. The building itself is Nice' landmark. The lobby is like a museum. It is simply amazing. One of the most beautiful places in the hotel. Each floor has its own design and atmosphere. The bar is vintage and brings you back in time with a wonderful selection of spirits and cocktails. The one-starred Michelin restaurant is a gem.
Cons: Unfortunately, the room and especially the bathroom are a bit on the lower side compared to the rest of the hotel. For example, the furniture door that does not close properly, the painting of the furniture fading or missing, the handheld shower head that can not be fixed and always slided down... For a palace it is not the standing you expect and vintage can not be an excuse for shabby.

Ich empfand diesen Bereich als ein nicht einheitliches Bild und nicht zu einem Hotel dieses Stils passend. Aber die Kunst in den einzelnen Stockwerken ist sehr nett. Geschmack ist eben unterschiedlich. Ich war die vergangenen Jahre immer vor der Renovierung im Carlton-Interconti und danach im Martinez in Cannes. Es sagt mir eher zu. Aber das Personal, der Service und auch das Zimmer waren hervorragend. Daher insgesamt sehr gut.

Cela est visiblement une force ! Je souhaite à quiconque de pouvoir passer une nuit dans ce palace qui vous laissera une expérience inoubliable dans un lieu magique . Excellent rapport qualité /prix

Wonderful few days at Hotel Negresco. Gorgeous property with rich historical attributes. Service was marvelous. Rooms were meticulous and well organized each time. Food was great downstairs and the bar had an amazing atmosphere. Location is excellent, we were able to go for a run on boardwalk, go exploring around town and safely walk to old nice for dinner. The concierge was very helpful with recommendations and he was on point. Would love to stay here again. Iconic and for good reasons.

Exceptional building on French Riviera, aristocratic, full of charm and history. Built by Romanian hotelier Henri Alexandru Negrescu in the neorenaissance style, the hotel Le Negresco is still a symbol of Nice, having seen in its existence of more than 100 years the most illustrious figures of the planet: Queen Elizabeth II, King Ibn Saoud, Shah of Iran, Salvador Dali, Grace Kelly and the list can go on and on. A part of )the hotel is under major renovation now, and, unfortunately, even the newly renovated bits are superficially finished, walls on the hallways having here and there cracks under the fresh paint. Same unfinished work on the doors architraves. Walking around you cand see a mixture of art objects, from XIXth century to recent days, so everyone could find something to like. Breakfast is not to die for, but the staff is very polite and ready to help. If you want a spectacular morning, try to get a room with sea view, you’ll get a good start of the day. But keep in mind that you need very deep pockets if you want to stay at Le Negresco.

This may well be the best hotel that I have ever stayed in. It managed to combine the amenities of a large luxury hotel with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that one tends to find only in smaller establishments. The location is spot on, right on the Promenade des Anglais. The room was large and very comfortable, and the hotel's pricing policy is that everything is included, no nasty hidden extras. Although not cheap, I considered it good value (I stayed in December). The artwork is really interesting and adds to the atmosphere.

We stayed in this iconic Nice luxury hotel for 4 nights. It’s beautiful located on the Promenade des Anglais, over looking the sea, and a short to the old town. The hotel is simply stunning with each floor displaying amazing art work, hand picked by the hotels previous owner Madame Augier. It was like walking through a museum. Our check in and welcome by front desk was warm and personal. Our room was on the Napoleon floor and had a partial sea view which allowed us to witness the sunrise on the beautiful Riviera each morning. This deluxe room was spacious and had the old charm yet modern amenities and fixtures. The bathroom was large, with 2 showers- stand alone and in tub. The stand alone shower was on the small size, which was no issue for us, however maybe a problem for others. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent to start with. Denise in particular paid attention to every detail at turn down each night, leaving the room cosy and inviting. Eye pillows, chocolate treats were left on our bed to enjoy. Housekeeping for the latter half of our stay did not have the same care. Cups/glasses were not replaced, water not replenished. We had an issue at one of their restaurants which was resolved at check out by the front desk staff and guest relations manager. They were very professional and keen we left with good impressions. This interaction proved the hotel prioritizes guest experience and each guest is valued. Although there were a couple of hiccups during our stay, the Hotel still deserves a good review. We would certainly recommend the Hotel Negresco to other travelers.

Everything was superb! The Christmas decoration was amazing, creating a magical atmosphere throughout the hotel, which looks like an art museum. My room on the fourth floor had a superb view of the Sea and the Massena Palace, especially beautiful in the morning and at sunset. The food was very good, and the breakfast was delicious. I was happy to see that the hotel has Romanian staff who were very friendly, and Victoria at the reception, a very beautiful and kind girl, helped me with my room. I thank her very much for that. The coffee at the hotel bar was excellent,services too. I will definitely return in the future.

Our stay at the Negresco was absolutely perfect. The room was lovely, and each floor displayed unique art pieces, making the whole place feel more like an art gallery than a traditional hotel. Lots of little bumps and scratches everywhere that should be looked after to maintain the luxurious feel the hotel is seeking to achieve. Also breakfast took forever. Repeatedly asked for a coffee that came 15 mins later. Witnessed multiple tables making similar comments to the staff about not receiving orders. This happened both days. More focus on service needed during breakfast to match service level of reception staff.

Unbelievable experience at this jewel of a hotel on the French Riviera. The staff and service overall were impeccable and extremely helpful. The hotel is a museum in of itself with gorgeous rooms and a plethora of art throughout you could spend the day just walking through the hotel and admiring the pieces of art, as well as the structure of the building itself. If only we could explore all the rooms too! Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in a deluxe Seaview room, and it exceed our expectations. The concierge was very helpful in the recommendations. I don’t say this lightly, but this was truly a 10 out of 10 hotel experience, which is rare in my experience.

This hotel doesn’t just live from its history; it’s filled with warmth and positive energy that comes from both the people who work there and the beautiful, vibrant interior. In many hotels, you might think that some details don’t quite match — but here, the mix of old and new feels just right. Everything comes together perfectly. It’s a joy to walk through the corridors, surrounded by art, color, and that special atmosphere you can’t quite describe but immediately feel. I’ve rarely felt so genuinely welcome, and never has my Leaders Club membership (Aurelian Member) been appreciated so warmly. The room I received was exceptional, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was tired and a bit of shock that the hotel seems older than the pictures I saw on the website, and the Rivoli room means it’s on the mezzanine floor next to the street and behind the bar wasn’t what I had in mind. However the staff at the hotel, reception, concierge, the beach club, the spa and the breakfast(literally everywhere you go)were so friendly and helpful, the service is consistently beyond expectations. It’s not just an uniquely preserved hotel, it’s the unique experience that makes the hotel unforgettable. Thank you for your hospitality.

He was so professional we can’t thank him enough. We had a beautiful suite with a beautiful sea view. I was extremely pleased and grateful to have chosen this hotel for our anniversary. I was informed by LGW that the upgrade was not available for my booking, which was disappointing since we had a rough beginning to our anniversary as we took a day trip to Italy and our car broke down which made us missed out on planned dinner as it took 5 hours for the towing truck to show up and at midnight we taxi drove us back to the hotel in Monte Carlo at a very hefty price. In the afternoon we rented a new car and drove to Negresco hotel, in the rain, thinking how miserable this trip is becoming. The check in was super easy and the staff was friendly. As we opened the door to the room, our jaws dropped!!! The bed was decorated with a heart and rose petals. It was a beautiful welcome and unexpected and I teared up. The room with the sea view on Napoleon floor was lovely. Thank you Sabrina! You truly gave us a surprise to remember. We swiftly changed our clothes and went to the SPA...and oh boy, the loveliest Spa I have been to in a while. So chic, and stylish. I had to buy the robe to remember this stay. We indulged and enjoyed sauna, steam room, pool, and mostly the wonderful jacuzzi strong jets, and the cold ice! Later we went to tour the floors which where we saw abundance of art and antiques. We felt like we were in wonderland. We rested at the bar, had some wine and it was just perfect. Later, we joined our friends for dinner in the city to celebrate our 26th anniversary. Next time I would want to try hotel's restaurant. The staff was super attentive, and the concierge was terrific. She found me a right box to fit long items. Tre bien! The breakfast had a nice display of various items and it was fabulous to sit outside and listen to Rivera music... and we even ran into John Cena. I highly recommend this hotel.

It is a beautiful building and generally the staff were very accommodating and friendly, however, when I was able to check in it took them about 40 minutes to get my cases to my room. Also, the sunbeds and parasols at the private beach were only available at a charge of approx 50-70 euros per day.

Cons: We asked for a room with a sea view and garden view, which we had. But, we were at the end of the hallway and there wasn't much of a seaview. Not life or death. But as it was an expensive room, we would have hoped for a little better view.

Having looked at the hotel online we wasn't disappointed when we arrived. The hotel is an exceptional property. Our room was very good and a nice size with reasonable views. The sea was visible from the balcony although the garden view was across the street not within the hotel so a little odd in the room description. We did not eat breakfast so cannot comment although we did dine one evening and enjoyed our dinner. The location was not too far from most things so although a bit of a walk to old town etc. it was doable.
Cons: It is difficult to state anything we did not like as the hotel certainly met our needs. However, the bar was expensive with a local beer costing 15 euros so a bit steep. Overall, we thought the hotel in general was a little hyped up and the cost to stay was (in our opinion) more than it was worth. Our thoughts was that location, room was fabulous but not worth the asking price.

I stayed at the Hotel Negresco for two nights, as a treat to myself during my French Riviera vacation. I expected an incredible, luxury experience of the highest quality. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. The room I was assigned was lovely, but the issues became clear quickly. The construction of the room meant that the air conditioning unit (critical during a Riviera summer!) blew directly onto the pillows of the bed. This gave me a cold and cough that I am still fighting over a week later. There was no information or instruction for the taps in the shower and/or tub, nor for the towel warmer. This meant that I was unable to use the towel warmer and was sprayed by the taps several times, with uncomfortably hot or cold water. Staffing was satisfactory, except at breakfast. I did not purchase a room package that included breakfast, but chose to eat at the hotel one morning anyway. The breakfast buffet was lovely, but the staff seemed to struggle, leaving a long line of people waiting to check in and no one to provide me with a check to sign upon leaving. Check in and check out were fine, although my room was not ready until 4:30pm (90 minutes after the stated check in time) and I had to remind the staff to give me a claim ticket when storing my luggage for a few hours after checking out. All in all, these are primarily items that I would overlook in a typical hotel stay (except for the AC, which is truly unacceptable). However, given the status and expense of this hotel, I expected better. Next time I come to Nice, I will stay elsewhere.

This was the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at! The staff were all so accommodating, helpful, friendly, and attentive. We were traveling with our 2 children, ages 8 and 10 and I was worried this hotel would be too “fancy” or “quiet” for them but everyone welcomed us with open arms. The food and drinks were absolutely spectacular, I will miss that breakfast forever. Every inch of the hotel was like discovering a new incredible corner. We went to the pool and had no idea it was attached to the spa/water treatment area, highly recommend! We went to N La Plage every day, it was just the most magical stay ever. Thank you to everyone at Le Negresco. Special shoutout to Baba and Eden at La Plage who made our daily beach visits extra spectatular.

This was a once in a lifetime experience for us. The hotel is magnificent. Discovering the art on every floor was better than any museum experience. Impeccably maintained. Service was wonderful. I had a facial at Le Spa and enjoyed the pool and sauna. The detail in every aspect of this hotel from the construction to the art and the beauty of the rooms and amenities is astounding. They were very attentive with our 3 year old he had an amazing time. Very child friendly hotel. No doubt there is no other hotel like it on the French Riviera.

I have such mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand it’s gorgeous and unquestionably a must stay at least once. Gorgeous. Magnificent. Beautiful. Some Staff (in particular when we checked in on July 29th) is phenomenal and very professional as well as in the Chantecler Restaurant as well as hotel bar on the premises with all around staff completely superb… Want to single out Ricardo for creating nothing short of a special experience for anyone who walks into the restaurant! But front desk and valet service is spotty, for hotel at this price point people could be more accommodating, professional and kinder! Please please be careful using the elevator it has two doors and not one and the glass door is very clean and if you are mildly distracted you can get really hurt. My kids found it found but I walked straight into the glass door and broke my nose. It hurt a lot. Thankfully it’s not disclosed. In the U.S. they would certainly put stickers on glass this clear. I am fine but someone could get really hurt. An older person or a child! Just beware. Oh the papillon suite we were in was gorgeous.absolutely indescribable. Overall we highly recommend this hotel just be careful in elevator and enjoy the history and the magic!

Cons: Unfortunately, I’ve had a disappointing arrival experience. First, while waiting for my room, we had breakfast at the restaurant where our food was forgotten, and we had to wait significantly. The staff apologized and said they would try to arrange early access to the room—but I still ended up waiting about an hour past check-in time before I could get in. There was not enough towels in the room. The bathtub had a leak and dripped water all of the floor. We had a maintenance person try to fix it but it was not possible, so for the rest of our stay we had to lay towels of the floor to catch the spilled water. The air conditioning could not be controlled from the room, so we had to phone down to the reception every time we wanted to adjust the temperature. The light sensor in the walk in closet turned on and off every few seconds 24 hours a day. The door for the refrigerator broke on day day leaving us unable to access the beverages we had stored. All in all, very poor experience for the price of a luxury hotel.

I don’t know where to start. First the hotel and it amenities were more then I expected. It was my honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The house keeping team works around the clock to keep that place tip top. The spa is amazing it has multiple saunas all types of shower with different styles and settings it was incredible. They even have an ice maker making snow like ice to cool you down. The jacuzzi pool and tub is top notch. All the staff works so hard to make you stay the best. The art work though out the hotel is like a museum with elegant style. My favorite the best place I’ve stayed in. 5 stars

Perhaps the most beautiful hotel that I have ever stayed at. The whole hotel is filled with art and the atrium on the first floor with an incredible crystal chandelier is stunning. However, Le Negresco is not about being beautiful it offered wonderful rooms, first class beach experience and exceptional service. Special Kudos to Juliet who answered all of our questions, got restaurants and even connected us to some folks in Monaco. The staff's smiles are contagious and we smiled through our whole stay.

The only criticisms are: not enough shelf or dresser space in rooms; silly headboards that replicate ladies' handbags (tacky); and an enormous number of pieces of very modern art that we found extremely unnattractive (but there may be some who like that loud, vulgar style - it didn't seem to be in keeping with the elegance of the hotel). Beach set-up is great and works very smoothly, as does the hotel bar and the beach restaurant.

I liked everything about the Hotel Le Negresco, and there were only a couple of exceptions.
Cons: The biggest issue we had was at the Oceanside restaurant, some waiters/waitresses, but not all, and also, some of the staff setting up beach chairs & umbrellas were aggressive about asking for tips. It seemed that they focused on USA citizens as they know that tipping is a custom in the USA. However, in the USA, waiters & waitresses get paid a low minimum wage, and so tipping is necessary. However, throughout most of the World, including Europe & Asia, service charges & consumption taxes are included in the bill, instead of tipping. I believe that if one receives exceptional service, then at the guest’s discretion, they can choose to leave a tip.

The room has outside automatic shutters that keep the room nice and dark! Good sound proofing! Loved the unique elevator! The Spa was amazing and modern! The snow machine by the saunas was a surprise as was the amazing pool!

Cons: We had requested an early check in for one of our rooms if possible, we arrived at 8 am from the U.S., they said the room would be ready at 3 (the check in time) or earlier, we returned at 3 and they told us as well as others waiting for their rooms that the rooms would not be ready until 4. Not acceptable when check in is at 3. There also wasn’t a convenient place for us to even change or shower so we could go about our day. Then when we got to the room, the AC wasn’t working (which they did fix after). Lastly, the hotel is incredibly expensive but the beach chairs cost 60 euros, even when we went down at 4:20 bc we couldn’t get into our room until 4. And to top it off, they won’t give you more than 2 towels. Overpriced and awful service.

The Negresco is an elegant hotel with a few service issues. First off, its location is perfect. Close to everything and right on the water. We were able to walk everywhere and it was central to absolutely everything. The lobby and, for that matter, the entire hotel is magnificently decorated with amazing art…even the elevator is like a piece of art. Our room was beautiful and huge. Very comfortable bed and maid service many times per day. The bathroom was also quite large with a tiny, and I mean tiny shower (not even 36” by 36” inside the shower stall which was prefab with a plastic floor). The shower seemed like some afterthought considering the beautiful and enormous bathtub. This was my only complaint about the room. It had a huge closet, two sofas, truly beautiful in an old world way. When we checked in, and it was at 10am (we did not expect our room to be ready that early and it was not) we wanted to go to the beach. This was a problem according to the staff, who in the not the most friendly way informed us that no chairs were available that day…they were all booked. I found this strange as I was paying over $1000 per night and chose the hotel partly for its beach access and quite annoying. I was informed I could book for the next day. The charge would be $75 per chair for the first row and $55 per chair for any other row; $200 for a sun bed. I did book for the next day. The second concierge was much more accommodating about access but I wish I had known this ahead of time. Just be forewarned of the cost and pre-booking for the beach…both surprises.footnote to this; Nice’s beaches are all rock and require beach shoes.either bring a pair or your can get them at any store along the street for 10 euros. We did not use the spa nor did we use the indoor pool but we did take a tour and they are both magnificent…truly amazing facilities. I would stay at the Negresco again but wish I had known about the beach ahead of time.

Definitiv das schönste Haus am Platz- gepaart mit jeder Menge Kunstwerke. Wirklich außergewöhnlich. Das Zimmer mit Blick zum Museum war sehr geräumig und im afrikanischen Stil gehalten. Schönes Badezimmer mit separater Toilette und Dusche plus Wanne, gut beleuchtet. Unser Aufenthalt fiel einer großen Meereskonferenz zusammen, und jede Menge Staatsgäste gingen ein und aus- was mit erheblichen Einschränkungen und jeder Menge Security verbunden war. Das Personal im Hotel, insbesondere das Concierge Team und der Guest Relation Manager, taten wirklich alles, um unseren Aufenthalt trotzdem so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Dafür ein großes Dankeschön! Auch beim Frühstück wurden wir außerordentlich nett bedient und mit vielen Extras verwöhnt. Das Strandrestaurant war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Lediglich die Leistung der Bar entsprach nicht ganz dem Preisniveau- das mag ein Einzelfall gewesen sein und der Drink wurde auch ausgetauscht.
Cons: Dass man auch als Hotelgast für die Nutzung der Strandliegen kräftig zur Kasse gebeten wird, scheint an der Côte d’Azur üblich zu sein, kann man angesichts der stolzen Zimmerpreise aber auch als unangemessen ansehen….leider gibt es auch keinen Outdoor Pool, wo man liegen könnte.

I was staying near this hotel, and wanted to see if it lived up to its reputation and all the hype. It certainly does! I booked for dinner and first went to the 1901 bar for a classic cocktail – delicious. And then I went for dinner in La Rotonde restaurant. This felt really special and the full waiting team are delightful. My waiter took great care to talk me through the vegan food options, the wine options and seated me really comfortably. My dinner really was something else. The flavours, the presentation were just spot on. It felt like a very special night and I really enjoyed talking to another solo female diner. We shared desert and coffee and a good hour chatting. The hotel itself is something to be seen! The art collection is astounding, a really eclectic mix. The next day I decide to go to the hotel’s beach club. This costs €70 a day for a lounger on the front row, and I think €50 a day for other lounges. Once again, fantastic service, delicious food and another special time. Le Negresco really does live up to its reputation and I can’t wait to come back to Nice to try it out again and hopefully this time to stay there.

The hotel even though undergoing a renovation was still a 4-5 star place given location , and opulent lobby and amazing staff. The room was very beautifully decorated and fairly spacious. When we return to Nice we certainly will stay here again.

We liked the historical nature of the hotel as well location on the promenade as well the dressed doorman, it feels like you go back in time
Cons: For such expensive space I expected better service to start. The breakfast has no table service or cooked offered dishes, the beach club is not complimentary and you need to pay another 75 euro / bed. Finally at checkout they could not send someone to assist with the luggage. For that price, it’s definitely not worth it

The hotel is like staying in a museum. Each floor has a different theme and coordinated works of art. Each room is different. The main hall is stunning with a huge chandelier containing a dazzling amount of Baccarat crystals. The staff are extremely gracious and accommodating. The location can't be beat, as you're directly across the promenade and the sparkling blue Mediterranean. Exceptionally special stay🌞

Property itself is fantastic.
Cons: Wait time to check in was unacceptable!! They told us it was because they were fixing the jacuzzi tub and then told us that they upgraded us when in fact it was the same suite we purchased and the jacuzzi tub still wasn’t working. They fixed it the next day but management could have handled it better considering how pricey it was to stay there. Better communication by staff is needed.

Cons: しいて上げるならば、ナイトセットが夜の10時にお部屋に来たり（既にくつろいでいたので断りましたが）、こちらの手違いで割ってしまったグラスを片付けてくれていなかったり（もちろん割ったことへのお詫びのお手紙をおいていたのですが、そのまま放置されていたのでその後フロントにも伝えました）と、意思疎通が難しい場面がありました。

Cons: Завтрак у нас был выключен , к большому удивлению для такой категории отеля и цены- завтрак был беднейший ! Из горячего скрамбл, Английские гарниры в виде бекона и бабов и все, яичница, пашот за доп. Плату . Холодный стол:пару видов колбасы, моцарелла с помидором, салат: огурец с Фетой. Пару видов булочных изделий и все))Обычно в 5 звездах шампанское наливают , а тут еще и яичница за доп. Плату)))) Утюг надо отдельно заказывать тоже странно ! Пляж -жезлонги тоже платные . Вообщем планируйте что цена проживания- это только нахождение в отеле , остальное за доп. Плату .

Cons: Нет площадки для временной парковки машины для выгрузки багажа, хотя работники гостиница тут же помогают и имеет место валет- служба.

The staff and service were consistently amazing from the moment we checked in until we left. We were truly impressed by how friendly and helpful everyone was. Excellent breakfast with a great selection and all items were high quality and delicious. The bathroom in our room was beautiful with a lovely big bath and a separate shower.

I’ve stayed at some incredible five-star hotels in the past, but nothing compares to Hotel El Negresco. The experience was, by far, the most amazing I've ever had. I can't stop raving about the staff! Juliette and Philippe, the concierges, truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was impeccable; they are the stars of the show. They arranged a car rental for us and recommended the most incredible places to see. This trip was very important for my family, and Jerome was incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived. He had our keys ready, an umbrella on hand, and ensured that we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff, including Tom and Eric at the front door, were also extremely attentive and welcoming. I can't forget to mention the wonderful ladies and gentlemen at breakfast. The service was top-tier! I’m sure I’m missing a few names, but every single staff member was amazing. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Hotel El Negresco!

Cons: An unserem Abreisetag haben wir morgens um 7.00 Uhr einen Anruf erhalten, ob wir Hilfe brauchen bei dem Gepäck. Unsere Buchung für den Transfer war aber um 7.00 Uhr ABENDS. Also an die Rezeption, dies geklärt, Fehler lag beim Concierge. Aussage von der Dame, ich soll jetzt frühstücken gehen. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel sehr merkwürdig, keine Entschuldigung und kein Entgegenkommen. Das fand ich sehr, sehr enttäuschend und nicht angebracht.

Hôtel was under renovation so mostly part of the day from early morning there was much noise! Even the exterior of the hotel was covered as a construction site so definitely not a great experience on arrival as a first impression. Staff were polite and helpful especially Ezno from room service. Chef needs to understand what is a traditional Italian pizza as he presented a Turkish version of pide Turca instead of pizza. Art inside the hotel and its history is impressive.

Cons: Прекрасно, что начали ремонт фасада, надеюсь, этим не ограничатся. Номера просто плачут за ремонтом. Звукоизоляции нет, ковролин на полу в номерах как на лестницах в старых лондонских домах… для завтрака совсем маленький зальчик, выпечка на порядок ниже, чем в итальянских отелях. В общем, отель настойчиво просит внимания хозяев 😂
