Only stayed 2 nights but both nights noisy. Had a room in 1st floor and was woken both mornings at 5.30 with the preparation of breakfast. Walls are thin, can hear your neighbours switching the lights on and off. There is a lack of plugs also.

Piscina: abbiamo dovuto insistere per far aprire gli ombrelloni perchè c'era un po' di vento; lettini sfondati (il telaio entra nella schiena da steso); i tavolini con i piedi rotti che non si reggevano; prese elettriche a bordo piscina guaste. Ristorante: i secondi di una delle due cene arrivati freddi; sul menù, dove ogni pietanza indicava gli allergeni presenti, non c'era la tabella allergeni; gravissimo. E' uscita a richiesta con la spiegazione che era disponibile in sala. dopo sono andato a cercarla per vedere dov'era e non l'ho trovata. E comunque, in una sala di 400 mq, non penso ci si debba alzare alla ricerca della tabella prima di ordinare. Camera: prenotata una Queen Premium con 2 Letti Queen-Size per tre persone. Cassetta sicurezza nella standard non disponibile (lo sapevo, ma non è il massimo). Luci per i letti solo tra i due letti, non per i posti esterni; nessuna presa vicino ai letti; solo un comodino centrale, senza i laterali. Bagno con: rubinetteria ossidata, un componente del miscelatore doccia si è svitato durante l'utilizzo, contenitore dei fazzoletti da viso che cadeva dal muro (peraltro vicino alla tazza), piletta del lavandino ossidata, vecchia e sporca, pessime giunzioni di silicone in zona vasca, stuccatura di una scheggiature di una mattonella nemmeno pulita, coprivater lento (l'ho dovuto stringere personalmente due volte), tazza con il fondo consumato e sporco, sostanzialmente stravecchia; infine, anche qui cosa gravissima, cordino per l'allarme in vasca alto, a poco meno di un metro da terra (da steso non ci arriva facilmente, anzi). Segnalato tutto al check out; fatto, non a richiesta, sconto del 15% sugli extra (280 euro su circa 1500 totali) e prolungamento checkout dalle 14 alle 18. Praticamente, con i prezzi del bar dell'hotel, l'equivalente di 4 birre.

Really had 2 problems, checked in and went down to the pool which was nice. When I went to get into the pool a gentleman came over and told me I could not wear my swim shoes in the pool, so im ok no biggy so take the shoes off set them by my table, climb into the pool not two mins after getting into the pool the same guy comes over and tells me I have to wear a swim cap which you get at the front desk. So I got out of the pool wasted 10-15 mins drying off to go inside to the front desk to get a swim cap when the guy could have told me that from the start with the shoes its also not posted on the rules of the pool sign right outside the swim area anywhere. Second problem after swimming and dinner which both was nice went back to my room the AC doesnt work and after about 15 mins I start hearing a drip, drip, drip sound go and look and the ceiling is leaking water not 5 inchs from a light socket so I call down tell the front desk about it and the AC. They say ok we will send a tech, I wait about 30 mins no sign of the tech so I call again they tell me the same thing I wait another 20 mins now Im about to walk down to the front desk the tech shows up. He takes a ladder and a towel opens up the panel and wipes the water down and then leaves...... 10 mins after he leaves drip drip drip. So I walk down to the front desk and ask for a new room which they gave me and the AC also doesnt work in this room, I gave up on calling the front desk and just waited for 5am to leave to catch my flight the next morning. I only stayed here one night I would not recomend it to anyone.

朝食と夕食付きでした。朝が早く朝食食べられなかった時があったのですが、その分の返金をチェックアウトの際にして下さいました。まさかの想定外に、家族も｢しっかりそういうのも対応してくれるんだなー｣と呟いていました。日本では考えられないことだったので、そういうホスピタリティーがとても素敵だと感じました。また訪れるまでのやり取りも丁寧に応じて下さり、すごく助かった。こちらに実際は4日間ステイしています。また朝食は大変美味しかった！夕食も、チーズが苦手なので、チーズなしでと伝えると確認ひてきて下さり。頼んだメニューにチーズなしで対応して下さった。そして、市内を一望できるので、大晦日の日が花火がすごくて、感動しました。
Cons: 良くないというわけではないですが、もっとこうしたら良いのにというのは、夕食のレパートリーがもう少しあればと感じました。それぞれ4パターンくらいから選ぶのですが、どうしても食べられるのが限られてしまったので。 また、立地は市内から外れた場所にはあるので、大晦日に市内へ行きカウントダウンできなかったのが残念でした。帰りの方法がなかった為(タクシーはいっぱいで予約できず)もし、できるなら、大晦日の日だけは、そういう人のために時間を設定してバスなどの送迎付きプランなどあると、もっと利用しやすくなると思います。

This hotel looked better than other Italian hotels. It was more “ American” with very nice decor
Cons: Hotel room was not well kept, shower water was all over the floor, door ( frame) was destroyed, molded, ( probably from water being on floor all the time). Dirty curtains and sheets. Towels smelled like vinegar ( which is ecological way of washing- ok but some guest might not like it). Food was very basic and always the same. But great sweets. Horrible scrambled eggs.

Cena: era inclusa, ogni sera si poteva scegliere tra 5 piatti che erano sempre gli stessi ogni giorno. Non posso giudicare la qualità del ristorante "alla Carta", ma i suoi prezzi sono oltre la media. Esempio: acqua 0.75l a 5€, spritz 12€.

The room was good and perfect for a family of four. Both double beds were perfect, and the size was excellent for a family room.
Cons: The location was not near the city center; you have to change trains twice, which is slightly disappointing, and there is a station within walking distance. However, if you are planning to travel to Rome every day, it's not highly suggested because of the at least 1 to 1.5 hours of travel time. It's especially difficult with kids because you have to change trains twice.

Cons: The location is too far from the places of interest. It takes about 1 hour from termini and atleast two changes by metro. if we go by a cab, the drivers charge a bomb. The station closest is about 300mts from hotel and is not part of metro network. So that trains are usually late.

The hotel is not perfect however the exceptional standard is superb customer service provided by Kristian elevates this review to five stars. In every aspect Kristian excelled at helping with queries and offering solutions to a somewhat challenging problem I had. The room was large, clean with a large comfortable bed and daily housekeeping. The walls aren’t the best as you can frequently hear other rooms and the corridor. There are also no electrical sockets anywhere near the bed. The hotel is located fairly close to the airport which is served by a regular train or shuttle or taxi direct from the hotel. The train also offers speedy trips into the centre of Rome and is less than a ten minute walk from the hotel. There is also a bus which takes far longer but drops you off right outside the hotel. There are taxis queueing outside the hotel for those who would rather travel privately. All in all, a very good experience!!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Parco de’ Medici for our last night in Rome, mainly because we had an 11:00 a.m. flight out of FCO the next morning. The location is about 15 minutes from the airport, which is convenient on paper—but there are several things to consider before booking. Hotel Stay The hotel itself needs renovation and does not feel like a true 4-star property. The rooms are dated, the double beds are quite small, and while the heating worked, it was actually too hot, forcing us to sleep with the windows open. There are no power outlets by the bed, only a single USB port, which isn’t ideal for anyone who needs to charge multiple devices. If you use a CPAP machine, definitely bring an extension cord or request one from the front desk. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport, but it runs only once per hour and comes with an extra fee. In most situations, it’s easier and faster to grab a taxi. And when you add up the transportation costs, it may actually be cheaper and more convenient to stay at the Hilton directly at FCO or even remain in central Rome for your last night, depending on your plans. La Serra Restaurant Because the hotel is isolated, La Serra is essentially the only dinner option—and thankfully, it’s good. We had fresh burrata with tomatoes, carbonara, amatriciana, and tiramisù. The food was well-prepared and tasty, though prices are a bit higher than what you’d pay in Rome. Service was friendly, and it turned out to be a solid meal after a long day. Breakfast Breakfast the next morning was excellent and actually exceeded expectations. The pastries were incredibly fresh, and the buffet even included fresh mozzarella, which was a great touch. A very enjoyable start to the day. Overall If you’re staying here for an early flight, it works—but be aware of the limitations. Between the outdated rooms, limited shuttle, and transportation costs, you might find better value by staying elsewhere. The restaurant and breakfast are definite positives, but the hotel itself could use a serious refresh.

Good hospitality and F&B is awesome and standard Italian price.They also provide shuttle services ( Free of charge from Airport and E10 to Airport). Taxi services is available and this hotel is near to Muratella station that connects to ROME city centre and can be intercharge to Metro stations. The room is spacious ,larger than Rome city centre hotels.

Nel bagno c’era odore di “cucina” (non so se per il pessimo ricircolo d’aria o cosa). La maggior parte delle prese elettriche erano rotte, la vasca da bagno segnata (inizialmente credevo fosse sporca). Il Phon non funzionava e andava in blocco dopo 2 minuti in quanto si surriscaldava (grave problema per me che ho i capelli lunghi). La tavoletta del bagno era rotta. La mattina ho fatto fatica a trovare un tavolo per fare colazione in quanto, nonostante fossero tutti liberi, erano ancora sporchi dagli ospiti che si erano seduti precedente. La qualità della colazione era pessima: caffè che sapeva di chimico (infatti ho preferito lasciarlo), mozzarelline rancide, crocchette di patate durissime, prosciutto di seconda scelta. Per fortuna mi sono fermata solo 2 notti per lavoro. Questo albergo è più da 2 stelle, che da 4. Mi dispiace moltissimo, ma spero che la recensione negativa possa essere utile per i futuri ospiti e, soprattutto, per la struttura per approntare i dovuti miglioramenti.

Check in went flawlessly. Room was great. In-hotel amenities were excellent with a wonderful breakfast included and an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner. Good service via hotel bus to the relatively close Fumicino Airport.
Cons: We didn't need an on site parking facility so can't comment on that but didn't see much evidence that it was available. The hotel was situated rather close (half a mile?) to a train station which we had hoped to use for access to both the airport and into the city center of Rome but getting to the station was really not convenient and train schedules not frequent. Another station on a different line had better connections to the airport but required a taxi ride to access.

Cons: description of location should have been more clear online - it was a little misleading. nothing walkable-no cafes/ restaurants nearby and a train or taxi was needed to get anywhere-did not indicate that it was in a industrial / office location and that the walk to and from the train station was short walk but went through a dark road and short passageway through a tree lined sidewalk- so did not feel safe as two ladies traveling alone. Also- we did have to change trains which increased the travel time to main city area.

Great location since it is close to the airport. However, airport shuttle should be complimentary, especially for Diamond members. Rooms were in poor condition, especially for 250 Euros per night. They need major upgrades and refresh. Musty, unhealthy odors everywhere, including in the rooms and hallways. Breakfast was chaotic and the last 1 hour before closing the staff did not even bother to refill the stations. Dinner was lovely. Pool and bar were great. This is NOT an IHG-standard hotel, it is an over-priced, 3-star motel with a nice pool and dinner. We will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Will not come back again until they completely renovate the property to the IHG level and standards.

Even in October where temp get as low as 5 Celsius. Rooms get really hot during the day as the sun hits the rooms and no ventilation/air circulation at night makes your breathing at night to sleeping hell if you get any from the heat. 2 fridge does not work, useless piece in the room 3 no safe box, REALLY? 4 no power socket near beds. Cant use laptop on bed, or charge phone next to you. You get only one type b usb port (so outdated) at least put type c. 5 most power sockets are broken or loose. I woke up with my phone at 3% because it didn't charge. 6 room-mades make unnecessary excessive noise from early morning with banging all over. Who takes 2 hrs to clean a hotel room? 7 outdated elevator. Scary rides up and down.

Cons: I did not like the appearance or attitude of one bar staff (tall with fizzy hair). He spoke to me as though I were someone he did not want to serve ( yeh wadya want) his clothes were filthy and shabby I ordered a seat on the 11 o’clock shuttle bus to the airport at 11 o’clock at a cost of 34 euros. The driver of the shuttle bus ignored me at 11 o’clock and left me sitting there until 1145. He clearly had a problem.

This location option was a lot further from the city center than anticipated. There was nothing around. If we chose to not have breakfast at the hotel which was a hefty price, we would have to travel at least 15-20 minutes away via car to get something to eat. While there was at least one friendly staff most, staff were rude and not welcoming. We also had to call every night of our stay to get towels. While our room would get put up daily, they never left any towels. The hotel itself was well kept and very clean. Definitely a great option for people who were looking to stay close to the airport as the airport is 10 minutes away.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helped to arrange a free shuttle from Fumicino airport. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the tiramisu west the standard against which all other tiramisu shall be judged on this trip! The staff in the morning sold us regional train tickets, helped us to get to the Muratella train station and gave us directions to Roma Termini station. Breakfast lived up to its excellent reputation and was well worth €20. Grazie Mille!

Walls are very thin so we could hear guest next door talking and coughing. Food at breakfast, lunch & dinner although yummy was like warm and not hot

The hotel itself is somewhat dated but has a nice swimming pool. Beds could be updated. However, this is more than compensated by the superb service of the staff throughout the hotel. There apparently are no restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel; no matter. Front desk staff Chiara made our trip to Rome so easy with helpful tips about local transport suggestions. so We had various meals at the hotel’s restaurant and were treated to very courteous and attentive service. During breakfast, Massimo, Lela and Lucia were wonderful and at dinners, we really appreciated the courteous and most friendly service most especially of Martina and Ciro; and also Miriam, Loris, Jessica and Maria. The front desk conveniently sells metro tickets and the local connecting train station is within easy walking distance. The Coliseum is just 6 metro stops away. Hotel is very close to the international airport and there is a hotel shuttle for for a nominal fee. This is a hotel we would visit again. Thank you very much to all the staff mentioned above.

We enjoyed the pool (everyone has to where caps over their head and hair covered)! Front desk provides these complimentary if you don’t have them! The outdoor bar is great and the restaurant was fabulous! Great gluten free options, wine selection and wonderful service!

Great hotel just needed for the night before leaving on a flight the next day. Use the airport shuttle, which was so nice inconvenient to have. Absolutely loved having the pool because it was so hot during our stay. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, which was delicious.

We booked for a place which was near Rome and the airport and wanted a pool. Getting the train into Rome was a change of a train and two tubes, about 30 minutes so I would advice if looking for somewhere close to Rome, this hotel is a bit for for travelling both in and out of Rome. The pool area was really nice and the hotel is good but breakfast in the morning was cold and not a good standard or variety.
Cons: The new tax added £45 to our bill for 6 of us. Breakfast was poor. There are no restaurant or anything else close by.

Good hotel, we stayed here at the start and end of our holiday, as ideally placed for the airport. However, the centre of Rome is an hour by public transport or 30 mins by car. Staff were super helpful and make this hotel. Food and drink is very over priced but there isn't really any restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Room was big for a family of 4, beds comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was also ready when we arrived at 10am which was a welcome surprise. The pool was a welcome pleasure after a day of sight seeing in Rome. It does take 2 trains to get into Rome centre but they were cheap (in price) & frequent so once we’d got the hang of the route it was easy. If it helps we did Muratella (8-10 mins walk from the hotel) - Ostiense & transferred to a train going into Rome Termini. From there you can get the metro to the main sightseeing places, however I’d recommend walking where possible, we got to see some lovely side streets and found some beautiful restaurants off the main path in Rome.
Cons: Our only groan was the number of mosquitoes by the pool late afternoon / early evening, we all got bit more than once in the 45 mins we were using it.

The pool is great and a lovely thing to look forward to at the end of a hot day of sight seeing. Staff friendly. Housekeeping good, cleanliness great. Good seating in side and outside, towels for the pool are plentiful. Always a sun bed available. Nice bar menu. Large and quiet rooms, ice machines in corridors...that was great!
Cons: Drinks pricey, breakfast was plentiful but I didn't like most of it and breakfast was very expensive if not included in the room price. Varying standards of professionalism of bar staff. We didn't like the restaurant. Although bus, train and taxi links to city are good, it's quite a long way out, so not brilliant if you want to spend a lot of time in Rome.

Everything about the hotel was as I’ve come to expect from a Holiday Inn, clean, well presented and the pool was brilliant. Only 10 mins from the airport and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere close to both the airport and city centre. The staff could not do enough for you!

We stayed here for a few days with my two daughters and had a lovely time overall. The pool area was wonderful – clean and well maintained, with towels provided. It could have opened earlier as i enjoy an early swim before breakfast but it only opened at 10am Breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of choice. Dinner, however, was a bit limited. The hotel is quite isolated, so options nearby are few, and the on-site restaurant was just okay – particularly if you don’t eat meat, as we don’t. The rooms are a little dated but perfectly fine and very clean. The reception, bar, and restaurant areas, on the other hand, have clearly been updated and were lovely. The hotel is well located for exploring Rome – the train is a short 10-minute walk away and quick and regular into the city. The airport shuttle was excellent and much appreciated. Above all, the staff were fantastic – friendly, helpful, and with the pool really made the stay enjoyable

We had a room in the 7rh floor, the AC was not working properly and the room was warm. When we called to have someone take a look, we were advised that since it on the 7th floor and its hot outside all the rooms are the same.. Which makes absolutely no sence. It is a very busy hotel. 21mins from Muratella train station to airport. Train tickets can be purchased from the airport. There are taxis in front of the hotel. The facility had all the commodities.. nice pool, bar..and close vicinity to public transport
Cons: The price inside the bar for cappuccino a little expensive..4 euros is like 200% higher than a normale bar outside of hotel..
