We had a fantastic stay at Centara Reserve Samui and would happily return. The resort is incredibly quiet, which made for the best and most restful sleep of our trip. The room was tasteful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling overdone. One of the real highlights is the adults-only pool area, which creates a calm, relaxing space away from children and genuinely enhances the sense of escape. The main pool is also very well managed. Q and Nonny deserve special mention for the way they help everyone get a good seat, even when it’s busy. It’s clearly not an easy task, and they handle it cheerfully and fairly. The gin bar is excellent, with a great range and a very good happy hour. Across the resort, the staff are genuinely happy and engaged, which says a lot about the quality of management and how well staff are treated. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of high-quality options, and it never felt chaotic despite the number of guests. The location is also ideal. It’s a short drive to the excellent restaurants at Fisherman’s Village, and the resort sits on a lovely white sand beach that’s perfect for swimming. All up, Centara Reserve Samui delivers a calm, well-managed, and genuinely relaxing experience. Highly recommended.

Our stay here was truly unforgettable and without a doubt the most beautiful vacation we have ever had on Koh Samui. A very special thank you to Aly, Michelle, and Best you are absolutely amazing! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome and cared for. Everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism, warmth, and genuine kindness. The service was flawless, yet always personal and heartfelt. You can truly feel that the team loves what they do. This place feels like a home away from home. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and full of positive energy, and the staff goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special and comfortable. Everyone here is incredibly friendly, attentive, and simply wonderful. We cannot recommend this place enough. Overall the hotel is nice, but not nicely maintained at all. The cleanliness is poor! Thai kind! Everything is sticky, they do not use proper cleaning tools. No vacumcleaner, only broom what they use. All towers, bedsheets, robes are off-white, spotted. After the dayly cleaning you do not feel cleaningness in the room at all. Beach towels are extremly dirty and oldish. Rooms design is not bad, but not tailored for a longer period of stay. The wardrobe is not able to accomodate 2-3 suitcases. Breakfast is ok, but not diverse at all. In a country of many tropicql fruits, here they only offer 4-5 kinds of fruits, every day the same! Only the kind of basic fruits, nothing special local fruit available. Watermelon, pineable, melon, apple and dragon fruit. Although the markets are full of exotic, uniqe fruits. Service is the Thai/Asian kind of service, do not expect the 5 star Western service. The hotel does not worth its price during the Christmas Holidays. Extremly expensive, compared what you get for your money. Locationwise, Chewang Beach is very bussy, full of shops, restaurants, cafes, party places. Beach is also very bussy, for a quiet holiday choose other location. This part of the beach is normally realy nice, one of the nices, but after big rains, storm it takes 2-3-4 days to get the water nice clean again. Hotel is not doing anythig with all of the rubish that the wawes take out to the beach.

This hotel is amazing. This is our second visit. This time is every bit as good as last year. Bow in the Terrace restaurant looked after us so well and she is such a lovely girl well nothing is too much trouble. Benz in the Salt and Society Restaurant is always smiling and helpful and Paul keeps the pool running smoothly and the towel is on the sunbed as soon as he sees you, these staff members really stand out but everyone of the staff are so welcoming. We have already booked to come back before we have even left, this says it all!! We would definitely recommend Centara Reserve Samui for a wonderful holiday. Alice in the Spa is very talented, I had the best facial I have ever had. The grounds are kept spotless and the rooms are lovely and serviced everyday with a turn down service in the evening. We stayed for 7 nights , the resort and staff are top notch . The resort vibes are really great . We took a beach view room which over looked the garden and beach , with a nice bathroom shower and tub Pool areas are really good, adjacent to the beach . Plenty of loungers easily available with attentive staff. The beach itself is clean with the softest sand , and warm water. Water activity’s easily available Breakfast was vast , and staff all very good The hotel is located to lots of small shops and eats , very convenient. They also request you download their app , which is very easy to access and any requests can be messaged on the same app, the staff reply and attend to any request quickly . 15 / 20 min from airport Would recommend

We stayed at Centara Reserve Samui for four nights in December. It is an outstanding resort. Staff were very attentive and kind, facilities were well maintained and clean, we enjoyed the easy beach access and pool. The breakfast buffet had the largest selection we’ve ever seen. The hotel helped us arrange a private sunset boat tour which was magical. We also enjoyed the elephant sanctuary. The resort is located perfectly, far enough away from the hot spots but close enough for a walk or short car ride. We appreciated the special anniversary surprise and the surprise of the day was a bit of fun. As an LGBTQ couple, we had no issues and felt welcome. We would definitely recommend this resort for fellow travellers. Thank you Centara for a wonderful stay!

Our vacation at Centara Reserve was absolutely amazing! Everyone here is so kind and there is amazing service throughout all parts of the stay -front desk service, food service, bar service, and all! Centara Reserve Samui is a true luxury hotel. The staff was some of the best we have ever encountered. And the hotel experience was pure relaxation and we never felt rushed or frustrated. Our room was a Luxury Ocean and offered plenty of space for an 8 night stay. Our room was kept renewed daily and spotless by the staff and turndown service much appreciated. The morning breakfast was just amazing from the Menu to the large buffet offering something for everyone. The pools were enjoyable and relaxing and offered great service for food and drinks. The hotel location is very convenient to a nearby mall and great restaurants.

When my husband and I arrived at the Centara Reserve Samui in Koh Samui, we were immediately impressed. We knew from the moment we checked in that this stay was going to be incredible. Immediately after checking in, we received a moist towel, a mocktail, and a delicious piece of chocolate! The resort is stunning— modern, elegant, and perfectly located on the beach and is just 15 minutes from the airport. Every detail of the design feels luxurious, so we were super excited to stay here. The staff were phenomenal—warm, friendly, and so accommodating. We’ve never felt so welcomed and appreciated as guests. They really went above and beyond to make our stay special, and it showed. Special shoutout to the staff (Sophie, Kelvin, Auto, Wendy, just to name an few) and general manager, Neil, for making us feel so special. Our room was beautiful, with a sleek modern design. The beachfront view was a plus, and the in-room amenities were topnotch. From the well-stocked mini bar to the scented soap, lotion, and shampoos—all amazing. Honestly, we’ve never stayed at a place that offered such a unique mini bar! We especially loved the “surprise of the day” which was a fun and thoughtful touch that made us feel like VIPs. The food at Centara was a major plus. We enjoyed pool-side meals and delicious cocktails/mocktails throughout our stay. Huge Disappointment! We paid a lot of money for this hotel, which is supposed to be one of the best on the island, but we were completely wrong! When we arrived, our room had blood stains on the bed sheets. The front desk moved us to another room but refused to offer any compensation for the horrible experience we went through. Yet another excellent holiday in this amazing resort Quick shout out to White, Mam, Pooky all the pool team and the complete organisation White went out of her way to ensure every this was perfect Mam exceptional lady, cheerful and so happy to spend time every morning chatting while we were at breakfast The pool team led by Paul are an exceptional set of guys who looked after my partly disabled wife, each morning when we arrived at the pool/beach they were like a F1 team, moving in to get her to our sunbeams, ensure she was comfortable through out the day Pooky, always cheerful dispite her very quiet nature and asking for any comments on things that could make our visit better ! Centara Reserve lived up to its reputation of being one of the best hotels on Koh Samui! The room was comfortable and immaculate, added bonus of complimentary vodka, gin, whiskey, beer and soft drinks. Breakfast buffet was amazing, can’t fault the quality and choice. The pool area was so comfortable, beds nicely spaced, towels and constant refills of iced water. Lovely beach just have to be careful if sea lice are around as can cause itchy rash. Have to mention the lovely waitress Ann in the breakfast area, always cheerful and friendly, even during busy times! We highly recommend this hotel and if returning to Koh Samui it would be at this hotel!

This was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Centara Reserve Samui offers true five-star luxury combined with heartfelt Thai hospitality. Lovely Pool area beautiful gardens. Room was good but lacked storage, bedside table also lacking space. Staff did bring up an extra drawer unit which helped. We loved having two bathrooms in our suite. House keeping needs a little improvement also. This is a wonderful hotel. The location is great, in a quiet part of Chaweng, a nice beach, beautifully kept grounds, excellent facilities and above all fantastic staff. Every section of the hotel, housekeeping, food, reception and portering had cheerful, helpful staff that you made feel so welcomed, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet is beyond expectation and the choice of foods in the different restaurants or poolside is excellent (thank you Ann, Emm, Pui and the rest of the team too numerous to mention). My room was great, looking out over the grounds and the ocean, with great housekeeping (thank you Saby) andwonderful views of the sunset if you were awake at that time! This was my 3rd time staying here and I cannot wait to come back again.

I arranged 20 people from Australia to have a conference and from the start Pupae was amazing . She coordinated and planned everything in advance so it was effortless for me and all our staff members . Pupae made little changes and gave suggestions which made our conference and stay at Centara Reserve Samui the most pleasurable and memorable trip for all attendees. The food at all the restaurants was just 5 Star quality- we couldn’t believe how good it was . The breakfast each day was perfect and all staff really friendly and if you wanted a takeaway coffee / no problem after you consume a delicious breakfast🇹🇭😎 The rooms were just exceptional and cleaned each day with the curtains drawn at night . All staff were friendly and helpful. It made our team fall in love with Thailand - this is the experience you need when you travel here . Just returned from a 10 night stay at this beautiful resort. From the beach to the pools to the rooms to food everything was fabulous. Great position at the quieter end of Chaweng Beach but was really easy to jump on a Songthaew into central samui which is vibrant and busy and has great shopping. The pools and beach were fantastic i even went in the sea (something I never do ) We had a pool access room which was lovely but we actually didn't use it as much as I thought we would. The room itself was well laid out the bed was a little on the hard side and the pillows a little too soft but that's personal preference it didn't affect our stay at all. The breakfast was wonderful plenty of choice even for me as gluten free. The people inside the resort and outside are just the most wonderfully friendly and always with a smile. All in all absolutely loved this resort would absolutely not hesitate to come back and only 15 minutes from the airport which is a bonus.

This was our sixth visit to Centara reserve and once again we had a fabulous holiday. We travelled with our adult children and four grandchildren. Everyone had a fantastic time. The breakfast is truely amazing from the al a carte menus to the buffet there is so,etching for everone. The spa ladies are the best. The pool boys led by Paul entertained the children even teaching them Thai boxing. The cocktail in both the beach bar and Gin bar were great. The meals at Salt Society were also excellent.Our rooms cleaned daily and the min8 bar replenished daily too. The kids loved the surprise of the day. I have been to Samui n8ne times now and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else as Centara Reserve is the best.

We travelled to Centara as a family of five, children aged 16-21. Absolutely everything was as you would hope for from a 5 star hotel. Rooms were immaculate (although, our only criticism would be a distinct lack of wardrobe space) and the location was ideal for us. What sets Centara apart though is the incredible quality of service. From William picking us up from the airport and Bambi checking us in, it was clear that nothing was too much trouble and the staff would go out of their way to make your stay perfect. We had a slight problem with the neighbours to our children’s room and Bew sorted it out quickly with no fuss. We loved Beer, Peter and Fanta on the front door who welcome you back every time like old friends. The spa was a must visit and we all went twice. All of the staff there were highly skilled and super respectful. Our favourite staff member was Q who looked after us by the adult pool. He remembered how many beds we wanted and our water glasses were never empty! He is the epitome of being attentive but never intrusive. When I read the reviews of this hotel, I wondered why so many people were naming staff members but then I visited and realised why as they are clearly the beating heart of why Centara is so special. I wish I could remember the names of every person we encountered. We will return!

A magnificent experience at the Centara reserve for our holiday The hotel structure is the best you can expect from a holiday on the island in terms of kindness, availability and above all professionalism in everything. Customer support is unique at all hours of the day for all required activities, excursions, breakfast service, and beach activities. The restaurant service has multiple points and the rooms are comfortable in many ways Honorable mention, however, goes to the staff because throughout our trip they were unique, not only in clarifying all the questions but also helping us with our needs In particular, Kelvin, Peter and Yod provided the maximum professionalism at the reception service as soon as we arrived at the hotel, helping us with the luggage service but also with all transfers and trips to the island. Kelvin, Tod and Yod booked all the transfers in advance at the perfect requested time, providing us with details in advance and where required, for the trips, they always prepared the towels in advance. While for taxis there too they were always available and kind and checked with the taxi driver especially the route and arrival time were really good. They were really the best and we absolutely where so relax thank also to their support. Special mention to the welcome and consultation service by Few, Mild, Sao, so kind and helpful in providing us with information on things to do in activities outside the hotel structure, in providing assistance in booking internal restaurants, in also giving information for the phases of arrival, welcoming us with a wonderful aperitif and welcome cocktail but also in the end-of-holiday phase, helping us with check out. Also always present in providing us with directions for trips to nearby islands. Very professional and this is the distinctive feature of the structure thanks to these people. The centara is a unique structure and I can only recommend it for your holiday

The Centara Reserve Koh Samui, provides a great place to stay with well trained staff and super location in Chaweng. With a lush garden and clear ocean views, the hotel is an ideal place to relax. The professional reception team also provided a friendly welcome on arrival. A special thanks to "Few", for her advice and suggestions during our stay. "Few" was a true ambassador for the hotel. Our Deluxe Ocean View room was very comfortable, offering a superb view of the ocean, which for the majority of time was a calm clear blue. The hotel provided a “Surprise of the Day”. We had an amazing 7 days at Centara Reserve Samui. It was our second time here as a family. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, and the attention to details made our stay truly special. Stunning sandy beach. The water was crystal clear, we spent hours swimming. We stayed at Reserve Pool suite. Our room was always cleaned and tidied up and nothing was too much trouble. Big thank you to Noowan and Kik, reserve hosts, you were amazing. As a side note, compare to our previous visit in 2023, the rooms are starting to get tired, showers and walls are starting to look worn out and could benefit from renovation. My son enjoyed Kids Club and had heaps of fun. Thank you to all the staff at the kids club, especially Pop, who my son adored. The buffet breakfast was amazing. The choice and the quality of food was top notch. Staff at the reception desk are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special thank you to Michelle and White for all your help and care. I loved staying at the Centara Reserve Samui. I used to live in Thailand and know it well. The location is excellent, right on the beach. There are gorgeous hotels in Samui, but many of them do not have this kind of beach access. Pools were lovely. The rooms were comfortable and clean and well designed. The feel of the place is immaculate and service oriented without being obsequious or over the top, feels just right. You get the best of Samui here...beach, pool, lovely rooms, views, easy access to the airport and everything else. Staff were superb. The "surprise of the day" a little snack or something, is a nice touch. Breakfast and food is divine.

Our trip here lasted two nights. Before arriving, we had email communication with the hotel, and they answered our questions very patiently, recommending that we browse the hotel's activities on the official website. When checking in, we were served by Michelle Tang, the Chinese client manager, who helped us upgrade our room. The room was decorated warmly, with a welcome cake and fruits for our honeymoon trip, which were very delicious! The hotel's private beach has beautiful scenery, with very fine white sand and few people. We had a great experience and enjoyed two days of a leisurely vacation! It's worth mentioning that the hotel has a surprise for guests every day; you can get a delicious treat by dialing the special line! If we come to Samui again, we will choose this hotel!

We spent 10 nights at Centara Reserve Samui in a Luxury Ocean Room with breakfast included, and the experience was truly positive. The room was spacious and bright, with a beautiful ocean view that reminded us each morning how lucky we were to be there. Everything was meticulously maintained, with impeccable cleaning - more than once a day - which we really appreciated. The resort is set along a stunning, peaceful stretch of Chaweng Beach: wide, quiet, and never crowded. Surrounded by a lush tropical garden, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Strolling among flowers and palm trees, enjoying the scent of the greenery, swimming in the sea or the pools… it didn’t take long to slip into a slower, more peaceful rhythm that helped us truly unwind. Breakfast was varied and of good quality. While the sweet options were a bit limited, that wasn’t an issue for us - we’re not into large breakfasts, and everything was well-prepared and served with care. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Warm, discreet, genuinely kind. Never intrusive, but always there when needed. The hotel itself was excellent, and the staff were exceptional, truly a genuine reflection of Thai hospitality and kindness. However, we were disappointed with the breakfast. It was repetitive and identical to what was served during our previous stay in December 2024. The selection consisted largely of spicy dishes and items we do not usually eat. There was little variety in the fruit, no olives, no quality cheese options and no seafood!!! Most dishes included pork, which we do not eat, and there were no alternatives such as fried chicken, duck or other meats. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and intend to return, provided the breakfast offering is improved and made more suitable for guests with varied dietary preferences.

We particular want to thank Few, from the front desk for her incredibly kindness and assistance to my now fiancé when he was planning his proposal to me while staying at the resort. Had a very pleasant stay at Centara Reserve. We arrived early around 9am and was given early check in. Our flight back was at 7pm and was given late check out to 5pm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was pristine and very well maintained. The location is 15 minutes away from the airport but you don’t notice the noise from the planes at all. All in all a fantastic hotel and one I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying here.

A nice hotel in a busy area with plenty of restaurants and other businesses around. The staff were kind and attentive, although they mostly stuck to the basics and didn’t engage with the guests much beyond what was necessary. We witnessed a fight between the guests and the staff in the lobby once. Housekeepers made a couple weird choices when cleaning our room (threw away stuff that we had planned to use), but it was sorted out. The hotel grounds are clean and well maintained. The pool areas are comfortable and nice, and the beach is lovely, sandy with easy access to the sea, nice sunbeds, great staff in the pool and sea areas. Breakfasts were great — a wide variety of options at the buffet and a menu with additional dishes. We appreciated that we weren’t limited to one dish per person and could really enjoy all the great food the hotel had to offer. Although the hotel is quite big and there were a lot of guests, it didn’t feel overcrowded. Our room was a bit odd — the lighting scenarios aren’t well thought out, the bathroom didn’t feel clean, and there wasn’t enough storage space. We were offered a “discounted” room upgrade by the manager, but the price was much higher than what the same room would have cost through a booking agency back home. So don’t expect a complimentary upgrade or even a fairly priced one. Overall our experience was quite pleasant

We had an amazing holiday here and can’t wait to return. Hotel is located on the quieter end of Chaweng beach and we enjoyed walks in the beach each day and swam in the sea. We visited during a quiet time and always found plenty of sunbeds around the adult pool area. There were plenty of bars and local restaurants nearby for eating out. The hotel is immaculate, staff work round the clock including the gardeners to keep it well maintained. We found plenty of choice at breakfast and for personally I found a great selection of gluten free options. Being coeliac this is always a concern visiting somewhere new. As mentioned in previous reviews it is the staff that make this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with a comfy bed and complimentary mini bar. Air con was not too noisy either! The only small criticism i have is there was not much storage space in our room for our belongings. The hanging space needed more hangers (luckily i brought some). However there was only one small set of drawers. We ended up having leave our cases out on one side of the room. Thank you. We hope to visit again one day

It was certainly more than what we would normally spend at a resort/hotel. However, Centara Reserve is worth every cent. Check-in was seamless, with great service from Michelle, who kindly allowed us to look at a Pool Access room and a Reserve Ocean King room before making our decision. The additional space in the Reserve Ocean King helped make our decision easier. The room layout, bedding and huge bathroom were outstanding. Michelle continued to take interest in our stay, providing us tips, and even delivered a thoughtful Papaya and Mango platter to our room after, in passing, telling her they were our favourite tropical fruit. A simple gesture, but something which will provide a memory. We only used the adult pool, which was long enough for lap swimming, but also wide enough for an enjoyable swim. A big tick to both "Tom Cruise" and "Best", who looked after us around the pool. They made the pool experience so much more enjoyable. The food and service at all the restaurants was excellent, and priced comparable to a hotel of this calibre. Lastly, but not least, a big thanks to the housecleaning team, particularly Bee, who beamed an infectious smile and personality.

For this trip to Koh Samui we chose this hotel purely for its location and based off its good reviews even though it was extremely expensive compared to most other hotels. Sadly when we arrived the welcome was not what we had been receiving at other hotels during our stay in Thailand. Check in was extremely slow, around 40 mins long and communication was difficult, they also never brought our bags to our room and a couple of hours later we had to call and ask for them. Peter who looks after your bags was wonderful though. I was immediately worried we had spent too much money and had chosen the wrong hotel, it just seems to be like anywhere some staff are better than others In saying that from there our stay was faultless and the hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful The room was great for our needs with fresh still and sparkling water daily, its own pool access, the breakfast was fantastic and staff member Aey was exceptional at making our morning super easy and happy, such a lovely lady. The main pool was just beautiful a great way to chill for the day Only exception was large groups of families with lots (and I mean lots) of young children making a lot of noise and taking over one of the areas of the main pool The hotel has a great children’s area just not a pool for them which would be nice to allow for other guests to relax There is a seperate adults pool but the main pool was is in a better location Paul who looks after activities and chairs around the pool was also another staff member, what a lovely, happy man who took time to say hello and chat when he saw you each day Hotel is walking distance to everything you could need in Chaweng The only two small letdowns I could say about this hotel and for the price it costs to stay is 1. The pool bar should have a happy hour 2. The gin bar where they have happy hour is located in the lobby and has no atmosphere, it is like the place you might meet before going out to dinner I would definitely highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay again I would say that low season looks like the better option as it’s is still quite busy, during peak season I can see it being possibly too busy - unless you like that!

We stayed with family at the hotel in March and just happened to be very lucky with the weather as it has been very odd on the island this year. We stayed in the hotel many years ago before it was re fitted. It is a fab hotel and had a really good time. Our room was a sea view but we did over look the villas at the hotel and I must say if I was staying in one of the villas there is not a lot of privacy. Our room however was a great size and the bathroom was fab - you could shower watching the sunrise. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Everyday you could phone down and get a surprise of the day - cake, chocolate or some other lovely treat and again around 1830 each evening we would have another lovely treat delivered - a fab touch. Breakfast we good and a nice selection - there was something for everyone. We sat by the pool most days and Paul was fab. Although all the staff were very good and always on hand to help with anything. The food at the pool was good as were the drinks. The beach area as lovely. The only real complaint I had was that the lovely bar area by the beach although great I did get bitten alive by the mozzies but the hotel has no control over that.

We have been staying at the Centara for around 10 years when it was the Grand Centara Beach Resort Prior to the renovation during covid the hotel offered the best beach and great facilities. With the total revamp rebuild and renovations the Centara Reserve is a 6 star hotel. Great location, beautiful pool area and well appointed rooms. The beach is 30 meters from the pool and is well maintained. Staff are super friendly and helpful. A great option but not cheap.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location, the chaos and charm of the busy beach road versus the serenity and beauty of the quiet end of Chaweng beach. The hotel facilities - great gym, beautiful grounds, swimming pools , restaurants - are complimented by the design palate of natural wood and stone reflected everywhere. What makes this hotel though is the service; attentive but not overbearing, and very proactive. The staff ask you what you’ve enjoyed, what you’re planning etc and gently suggest a really good way of doing it better. They take time to get to know their guests and their requirements in a “light touch” way, and are empowered to use that information to make your stay even more enjoyable. We completed a survey sent to us on arrival and mentioned it would be nice to have an ironing board/iron and more hangers. They were delivered within 10 minutes. We asked for more drawer space, and a new chest of drawers duly arrived. The staff really care about their guests, and that’s what makes this hotel stand out.

Fantastic hotel in every way. The room was overlooking the ocean, the staff and the service was amazing and the hotel had every amenity you could wish for. Adults only pool was great and the pool bar service was spot on. Direct beach access and everything you needed was a short stroll away but far enough away from the crowded town. Stayed the second week in another resort and it was nowhere near as good as this one. Even had complimentary vodka, gin and whisky in the room and everything in the min bar was included, including the beer. Five star all the way, we will definitely be back. Only negative point was that the room was on the small side, but still did not distract from a great hotel in a great location.

Amazing hotel. Luxurious and indulging. Breakfast is incredible, pool is very nice and the beach infront of the hotel is beautiful. Staff was vet helpful and they allowed me late checkout which was meaningful. Room was very well designed, modern and clean with nice pampering touches like the free minibar a daily , yet a bit small. App is easy. Food for lunch and dinner could improve. Come here you will not regret!

Every aspect of the facility and our experiences there were outstanding. The only suggestion I would make is regarding dairy housekeeping. The staff are wonderful but they are provided with a broom rather than a vacuum cleaner for cleaning. The result is some accumulation of dust etc in the corners and remote areas of the room. Understanding that speed of turnover is important, but in light of the low cost and high availability of labor, hiring additional workers and purchasing vacuum cleaners might be a good option for management to consider.

Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel, we were a family group travelling with a 2year old in the group & every small detail to accommodate the whole group were met. Every staff member without exception always greeted us with a smile & were always very helpful. The hotel is very clean in all areas. There is a great choice of restaurants & poolside drinks/food. Located directly on the beach is also a huge plus. The hotel grodbs & garden are kept to a pristine standard. All in all there is nothing not to like about this hotel & it is definitely a hotel we would all love to return to. Thank you everyone at Centara Reserve for an amazing holiday.

First, upon arrival to the room, we were greeted to a basket of used feminine pads. The resort apologized with a cheap bottle of wine. We also encountered dirty glasses in our room on multiple days and also at breakfast. And the air conditioning worked sometimes and at other times not. The only positive thing was the staff were very nice and tried hard. I expect the hotel to apologize for the inconvenience so that others potential guests will ignore this review and stay at the resort. But the same old tired apologies I’ve read by theses resorts are just that. More to the point, they’re b.s. And I’m sorry to have to post such a bad review. However, I spent $2500 for four nights at what was supposed to be a 5 star luxury resort. It is not luxurious and they should be ashamed of themselves. If you’re reading this and don’t want to be disappointed, please stay at the Conrad or Six Senses or some other resort.

Firstly the Property is Beautiful. The Staff is AMAZING, Friendly, accommodating etc. We checked in and later discovered that our AC wasn't keeping cool. The hotel had an engineer in the room in 5 Minutes. In the end he never got it working properly, SO they upgraded us to a Beautiful Suite. The first room was great, The Suite, Amazing. Ive never had a better Staff anywhere. "M" checked us in and was just great to work with and then, "Beaut" upgraded us and also was a pleasure to work with. There was nothing that we asked for that wasn't immediately attended too. This place is Paradise with Angels for Staff Members. Thank You For making the final week of our trip the most enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to coming back.

It’s always so hard to leave this hotel. Wonderful white sand beach, you can swim out 50 meters and still touch the bottom, modern rooms and facilities. Lovely staff and spa. I look forward to the next visit.

Beautiful beachfront property, two spectacular pools (adult only and family), perfect location on Chaweng Beach (close to the action if you want it, but not too close if you want peace and quiet). Rooms are very nice, modern and clean. Service and staff was top notch. Excellent breakfast buffet, tons of variety and all was very good quality. Highly recommend Centara Reserve, I will stay again if I return to Samui.

Our second stay. Last time we stayed one week, and loved it so much we stayed 2 weeks this time. Really comfortable rooms, lovely big comfy beds. We stayed in the basic garden view room and it was perfectly sufficient for a couple. The gardens are gorgeous, and you can still see the ocean from the balcony. The pools are fantastic, that the food everywhere at the hotel is excellent! and the staff - are all amazing! We will be back again for sure.

I just moved to Kimpton hotel from Centra Reserve. I wanted to have 2 different experience. Centra staffs are over beyond nicer than Kimpton. It is different level. The Kimpton is very dark. They do not offer 5 star service in terms of staff. So if anyone try to compare smile of this country choose Centara vs Kimpton Katalay. I think you will enjoy their hospitality, also the ppl in the front desk - Big (the guy name) he is so nice and all other ladies and pool staffs, restaurant staffs are doing their best. I felt so good and appreciate even I was not happy with noise from the next beach club and had to move to the different room. They are amazing do not hesitate ❤️❤️

Lovely resort. Well kept. Labourers work hard in sunlight. No fans or water. Despicable treatment of humans. Bad lighting outside. Dead snails everywhere as no one can see where to step. ‘5*’ hotel can’t keep pools open longer than 7pm. Great breakfast. Make sure u get there & finish by 8:30am. After that staff can’t keep up. Mix up orders, forget things. Breakfast timing only until 10:30am. So much for a ‘5*’ hotel. Free minibar. Low quality juices given. Genius who came up with design should be administered to asylum. Stone floors in bedroom but WOOD in bathroom. It’s a walk in shower room. Water has rotted walls & floors. Damp marks everywhere. Strange, disgusting permanent smell even after leaving windows open all day. This isn’t something cleaner can do. Bathrooms need to be completely renovated. Fixtures never clean. In room dining is expensive & mediocre. I ordered kids menu set. Supposed to be 1 main & 1 side. Ordered chicken strips & fries. Got a call from reception saying fries are a main. I wanted to call her stupid. On checkout female staff asked for slippers back! I told her they r used. She said they wash them & give to next guest. Made me open up suitcase. I tried to hide dirty clothes so public & male staff can’t see! ‘5*’ hotel is too poor to allow guests who have paid 1000s to take slippers. Scum. Room also has flip flops. DIRTY. Don’t use unless you want fungus. No guest used theirs.

The property, staff and beach are all amazing. The staff is insanely attentive and looked after our every need. They have an app that allows you to chat with a virtually concierge who replies instantly and addresses any and every need. The pool staff are all first rate and really make you feel looked after. The resort is super modern and beautiful. The gym is one of the best I’ve seen at a resort and the daily “surprise of the day” delivered to your room, is a super nice touch. All the restaurants looked really nice, but we didn’t eat at any and chose to eat off resort during our stay. Would definitely stay again if back on the island. Highly recommended, can’t go wrong

We arrived to Centara Reserve Samui because of a recommendation from friends who stayed at the hotel. Our experience was different from what they described, it was still good overall. But could be better. 1. The room was not clean. We had flip flops of someone else in the room when we arrived. 2. The communication with the person who welcomed us was not very easy and he just decided to skip most of the main welcome rituals which we have been looking for. 3. We were promised to get a room upgrade as part of our Hotels.com VIP benefits and this was not applied, when I asked about it they just did not care.

They have thought of every single detail you could possibly think of and have every type of amenity you would need on vacation right at your fingertips! From fresh organic mandarin ice towels served to you while tanning at the pool to homemade mango ice pops given to you after a meal - they truly have it all.
