Cons: Rude reception staff, blocked our room keys after one night even though our booking was for 2 nights. They claim their system only had one night registered. No apologies, according to reception staff booking.com should not be used and only book directly with hotel, if so why is IHG using booking.com services? Nice budget hotel otherwise but rude and incompetent reception

The breakfast , dinner and room sizes where all very good to provide the comfort
Cons: Structural Noise Issue I believe this is a structural issue with the hotel, specifically the lack of adequate soundproofing. I raised this concern during my stay last year. Noise from adjacent rooms and from rooms above is clearly audible, effectively making guests part of their neighbours’ environment—particularly challenging when the neighbouring room has a baby. Housekeeping and Room Servicing Concerns Unfortunately, the last six nights of our stay were not enjoyable due to housekeeping shortcomings. Bed linens were changed only after three days, which we were able to confirm by placing a simple pen mark for tracking purposes. Additionally, tissue paper was not replenished; by the sixth night, we had to borrow tissues from our children in the adjacent room. It was quite embarrassing to have to contact reception for tissue paper after dinner. I am confident that the hotel can deliver a higher standard of service than what we experienced.

A személyzet kedves, de rossz szabályokhoz kell alkalmazkodniuk! A hotel kivülről réginek tűnik, de belül jól felújított. A reggeli jó színvonalú, bár néha kellett várni 10 percet a szabad asztalra!
Cons: A booking com weboldalon foglaltuk a szállást, amiben még soha sem csalódtunk! (Sok-sok utazáson vagyok túl) Két keresési feltétel volt megadva: ingyenes parkolás és beltéri medence! Ezek nagyon fontosak voltak számunkra! Az ingyenes parkolás fontos volt, mert korábban már 5-ször voltunk Olaszországban, de mindig gondot okozott. A legfontosabb a beltéri medence volt! A Crowne Hotel ebben legjobbnak tűnt számunkra, mert a fotók alapján a legnagyobb beltéri medencével rendelkezik. De ki olvassa el az apróbetűs részt? Ez nem egy banki szerződés. Miért nem használhatja a 14 éves lányom - aki egyêbként 167 cm magas és felnőtt gondolkozású - a beltéri medencét? Talán hangos? Zavarja a felnőtteket? De ha zavarja a felnőtteket, akkor a tiltást reklámozni kéne azok között a felnőttek között, akik erre érzékenyek! (Ezt én semmilyen platformon nem láttam!)

This was my 2nd stay here, this time in late summer. I still don't see negative point for this hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful, there is a large free parking on site, so you can leave Yr car and take a cab to the centre, their shuttle or the metro. I was set on the 5th floor, in one of their renovated roo #517, pool facing, and once more, I liked it till the last minute I have left. Room was circa 30sqm, with a balcony, pool facing, enough space and storage for a long stay, a separate couch, a large deck/ board, but a weak WiFi speed despite a good connection. It had a Nespresso machine with original capsules, and they happy refilled me when asked. The indoor spa is adults only, and has a warm pool at 36c , while the hotel has a huge outdoor pool, where you can do laps or take the sun on one of the many sunbeds, and there is a pool / garden bar that makes the area super attractive all day long. Bathrobes are in a drawer and pool towels available at the pool or the spa I would come again, whether for business (it is 25mns drive to the airport, and 10mns to the main highway) or for tourism (it is 10euros in taxi from St Peter).

We stayed there two nights. It is a very comfortable hotel, particularly after we had just gotten off a long flight from the US. They have a terrific restaurant with gracious staff. The walk to the metro is a little long, about 15 mins, but the taxi to and from the metro was inexpensive. For the return trip, calling an Uber may be more reliable because there was no taxi stand at the metro.

Cons: La stanza che ci hanno dato, era al di sotto delle aspettative, in quanto avendo il cane, a chi ha il cane, danno solo determinate stanze. La porta del bagno cigolava, i tappi del lavandino e della doccia erano consumati e l Acqua non scendeva bene, il mobile scheggiato e vecchio, il phon attaccato con un chiodo in un cassetto quindi per asciugarti i capelli è meglio che ti porti un phon di proprietà. Capisco che ho il cane, ma allora mi fai pagare di meno, no che devo pagare come chi non ha il cane e gli viene data UNA STANZA NUOVA. TROPPO COSTOSA, SENZA TRA L'ALTRO LA COLAZIONE.

It was fine but there are much better options available. A bit on the expensive side considering what it is. The restaurant food was only ok and also a bit pricey. I stayed here our first night in Italy as it seemed like it was centrally located and they speak english. The rest of the trip we chose smaller independently owned hotels and bnbs which were cheaper and much more interesting. But if you want the American style this is fine.

It’s been really great stay at the hotel. It was our second visit. Staff is always nice, smiley, attentive, happy to help at reception , bar, restaurant and house keeping . Cons: El hotel está lejos de los sitios de interés. El bus que queda cerca no trabaja los fines de semana. Esto hace que se encarezca mucho la estadía, pues hay que depender de taxis y comer en el restaurante del hotel, ya que no hay otras opciones cerca. El traslado con pullman que ofrecen es costoso y con horarios no siempre convenientes. El personal no es amable.

We stayed at Crown Plaza Rome St Peter's for 3 nights. Hotel was nice at a peaceful place in out skirts of Rome best suitable for by road travellers as their is free parking at this hotel. The distance from all attractions is €20 to €25. So it's not convinient and quick go for some sight seeing & come back and then again to continue after some rest otherwise add €100 per day additionally if using taxi. There is a shuttle bus service for Coloseum €8 and Vatican for €5 per person. The rooms was super clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a balcony of lush green garden, entrance etc. Bathroom were well appointed and overall standard is genuinely 4star. The serve continental breakfast although we didn't opted for that. At check-in counter we were greeted by Mr Karan who allowed us complimentary mini bar and guided us very well. Thanks to Karan. Our overall experience was good except it's distant location for sight seeing of old city centre

Stayed here as part of a group tour, for two nights, while visiting Rome. We used our own coach to transfer guests to/from the city center, but there is also a public transit stop conveniently located steps from the hotel gate. A very good property for visiting Rome, nice and quiet in the evening.

The Crowne Plaza Rome - St. Peter's by IHG was selected by my tour group - this proved to be an excellent choice. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is conveniently located - about a 35 or 40 minute drive to sites in Rome and about the same distance to the Airport. The service provided by the hotel staff was more than expected; they were helpful, friendly, and made extra effort to accommodate. A very pleasant stay!

This resort provides everything we needed; meals, shuttles (paid, but far cheaper than a cab or Uber) to and from the city, and they even have a shuttle to the cruise port (paid, but our research shows it was still cheaper than a cab). Everything was nearly perfect - the beds were too hard for our liking was our only issue. Would highly recommend this hotel.

A great hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. We chose this hotel because it was close to a venue we were attending. As it turned out, being in the suburbs of Rome proved to be a great place to stay. It was close enough to the metro to use every day to get to the spectacular and vibrant places within the city. On our return to Cornelia metro station, the pavement cafes provided essential sustenance to the weary sightseers! Overall, a very good hotel situated outside of the busy areas of the city. This is a hotel which we will use again when we return to this amazing city!

Nice comfortable hotel in the city of Rome and quite easily accessible be it the Vatican City or Railway station. Did not get a chance to eat at the hotel and hence unable to comment on that. A simple tip for travellers who intend to take the trains late evening after sight seeing. It will be prudent to store your luggage in the morning itself at the railway station (Roman Terminii) or storage hotels nearby. It saves the hassles of returning to the hotel collect baggage and then go to the railway station. (Traffic at times are very unpredictable). The same approach can be down for travel to the airport where there are direct trains to FCO.

This has been the best hotel I have visited across three EU countries. Everyone from the front desk staff to room cleaning was fantastic. Rooms were perfectly clean, hotel is modern and updated and breakfast was excellent. Amenities were also perfect. I will definitely be coming back here with my wife in the future as my parents did before nearly 30 years ago! Can’t wait to come back and thank you again.

A hotel on quite a scale (300+ rooms), and lots of facilities. It's beginning to feel a bit dated, but the charm of the staff makes up for a lot. Good breakfast, and dinner's not bad either. We made an active decision to be somewhat removed from the madness of central Rome; this might not suit a first-time visitor, but for us it worked very well. Special call out to the maintenance man who fixed my wife's broken wheelchair – quite a crisis! – in 10 mins flat.

Beautiful property overall in need of updating in some areas. Too far from a neighborhood. Shuttle not always convenient nor buses. Taxis can be costly depending on where you choose to go in Rome. The coffee and service in bar very good especially the slays smiling Sandra. Georgia and Alessia at check-in were wonderful. Oh, and Fabrizio at the pool bar is quite patient with the sometimes loud clientele. The lifeguard on duty Friday ( did not catch her name) was attentive and alert.

We wanted a hotel that was tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle so this was perfect! Loved, loved, loved the pool. It was quiet so able to relax and swim. Room very comfortable and modern - the housekeeping staff are truly amazing. Good choice at breakfast (only complaint is that hot food was quite cold). Big shout out to the waitress Sandra. She is amazing in the caring service she provides. It’s easy to get into Rome €20 in a taxi.

This was the last night of my two week trip to Italy. My Airbnb's hot water had gone out and I was unable to get a solution there. I found Crowne Plaza quickly and booked. What awaited me was exactly what I needed to end my trip on the right foot! Despite being several hours earlier than check in, the agent got me in a room quickly, showed me where the restaurant was so I could eat, and sensing my being so frazzled, directed me to the spa onsite. Talk about a 180 from the day i was expecting! I grabbed lunch, went to the spa, got a few final souvenirs from the shop, packed up my disheveled suitcase, grabbed dinner and settled in ahead of my early morning flight. The property was lovely and the rooms were very nice! I left 100% happier than I arrived!

Arrivato alla reception poco dopo le 8 di mattina, non essendo ancora possibile recarmi in stanza per via dell'orario, ho chiesto se fosse disponibile un locale per cambiarmi al volo e sono stato indirizzato con sufficienza ai bagni pubblici, con diniego ad altra possibilità. In tanti anni è la prima volta che non viene concesso un locale, qualsiasi ma con possibilità di un minimo movimento, per cambiarmi in un paio di minuti. Credo che anche in una struttura a 2* si sarebbero prodigati ad assecondare una richiesta di questo tipo. Capito spesso a Roma per lavoro ma in futuro non terrò certamente in considerazione questa struttura

We stayed here after a hectic week of travelling, and it was a truly lovely experience. The outdoor pool, with plenty of loungers, gave us the time and space to relax in the sun, while the indoor pool was equally peaceful and very well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide and varied selection to suit all tastes. The restaurant offered a good mix of international cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Our King Suite was fantastic for a family with older teenagers — it was made up of two adjoining rooms with a king bed, a converted sofa bed, an additional sofa with table and chairs, plus two bathrooms. This setup gave everyone space and privacy while still keeping us close together. The location was also convenient: about a 20-minute walk from Cornelia Metro Station, or a 20-minute taxi ride costing around €30. The hotel also ran a shuttle bus into the city centre, which was economical if travelling with fewer than four people. Overall, we had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Rome - St. Peter's for one night after disembarking a cruise before our flight home the next morning. Our room had been a compensation from the airline, as they had cancelled our previous flight and rescheduled us for the next day, something we had not originally planned for. However, we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We arrived at around 10:00 am, and check-in wasn't until 3 pm, so they didn't have our room ready, but they were able to store our luggage for us until then. We were also able to schedule a shuttle ride to the airport the next morning. This is not free, but it was only 45 euros for both my husband and I. We compared the price to the taxi fare, and it was 10 euros cheaper to use the shuttle. The security officer out front was able to call a taxi for us to go to the city to explore, since it is too far to walk from there. We got our room at about 2:30 pm. It was clean and a good size with a king-sized bed and a small sitting area. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small, but for one night, it did its job. The hotel has 2 restaurants: Le Jardin d'Hiver (breakfast buffet) and Aurea (lunch and dinner), as well as the Lumiere Bar. We had a couple cappuccinos in the bar, which were very good. For dinner, we went to Aurea. It is highly recommended to make a reservation, which we did not, but the manager, Fabio, was kind enough to accommodate us and seat us himself. Fabio and his wait staff were fantastic. The service was efficient and the food was excellent. Fabio explained each dish and provided a wine recommendation. It was a great way to spend our last night in Italy.

I would say that overall the hotel was fine. The hotel is a little outdated. It’s about 20 mins from the city but there were plenty of transportation options. The restaurant in the hotel was really good. The staff treated me good. Check in and check out was pretty seamless.

Well… rarely write reviews but feel compelled to with this one to help other family’s make a informed decision.. The hotel itself is ok…. Rooms basic but clean Pool good but FREEZING COLD and very deep around 5 feet shallow upto 12 feet. There is a child’s pool around 1 metre depth. Restaurant very over priced food rather average. Don’t bother with the tickets/ shuttle/ transfer with the hotel. Cabs cost 55 euro to the airport hotel charged us 90 euro. Same for getting into the city taxi costs 20-25 euro shuttle costs the same but drops you miles off. For me what stood out the most was the service. There isn’t any! Staff speak NO English atall so communication/ issues are hard to translate I just found the staff very rude/ un friendly and dis interested. The manager is very nice but again very little English so trying to explain is very difficult. It’s a shame as it could have been a good stay had there not been so many issues with rude unfriendly staff and no service. If I go to Rome again I will book a hotel that offers a friendly service and one that actually makes you feel welcome.

The Crowne Plaza Rome Hotel provided a safe, clean, comfortable and convenient base to visit Rome. The hotel offered a wonderful breakfast to start the day. A discounted price for breakfast was provided if you pre-paid for at least 2 days. Breakfast was served in a comfortable dining area with wait staff for seating and coffee service. Patrons selected from a hot bar (eggs, bacon, sausage), fruit, cereal, yogurt, meat, cheese, and a wide variety of bread and pastries. Well fueled, we took the local bus to meeting sites for tours to the Vatican and Coliseum (booked separately). Taxi service was also available but the he bus (located just outside the hotel driveway) was very inexpensive and flexible. After touring, we relaxed by the pool at a shaded table and enjoyed a local draft one night. Another evening, we dined at their restaurant (reservations needed). On our last evening, we sampled tapas and wine in their bar. Overall, we plan to book again when we visit Rome.

L’accueil est excellent, certains membres du personnel parlent français, sinon tout peut se faire en anglais bien sûr. L’hôtel est situé au calme en périphérie de Rome avec arrêt de bus juste en sortant de l’hôtel à 20m côté droit, bus 881 et 98 qui emmènent au centre ville en 20-25min). Également station de taxi dans l’hôtel. Le gift shop propose des services de navette aéroport, vente de tickets de bus .. ). Les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine extérieure surveillée. Le petit déjeuner type buffet à volonté est impressionnant! Le restaurant de l’hôtel est lui aussi excellent.
Cons: Peut-être l’isolation phonique des chambres est à améliorer mais comme partout cela dépend du comportement des voisins! En tout cas on a bien dormi.

My husband daughter and myself have recently stayed for 10 nights here at crowne plaza. If was our silver wedding anniversary whilst we were there and hotel out a bottle of processco sweets and nuts in our Rome which was a lovely gesture. Breakfast is on every morning until 11 which we liked especially on days we werent up and out early. Near enough to get into Rome either by taxi or shuttle we sometimes found taxi cheaper than shuttle. Food in restaurant on evening was delicious but if we got 1 course some evenings if was a big portion other nights smaller . Pool was freezing even in August but lovely and refreshing in the heat. Overall an enjoyable and memorable stay and would stay again

We just returned from a week in Italy the first half of which we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Rome. It may be the nicest Crowne Plaza I've ever seen! The staff was helpful and welcoming, from the front desk (each and every one of them went above and beyond it be helpful, welcoming and kind to my entire family) the shuttle (which can get pricey but was a lifesaver to and from the airport and Andrea had many helpful suggestions as well) August in Rome in no joke and the pool was one of the main draws for us and it was great! The restaurant was quite good, the bar as well as the pool bar were all great. We ended up changing our last night in Rome from a place closer to the airport to come back here and it delivered again! Its not center Rome but easy to get to and with taxis, ubers and busses its easy to get around. If we return to Rome we would definitely return!

It’s not a bad hotel, it’s an average ok hotel, rooms are basic and do need a little update. One thing i do recommend is not to use the shuttle service in the hotel - tickets brought from the gift shop. The drop off points we used were for the colosseum and the Vatican, with the points drop off about 15 minute walk away. We booked the transfers as told by the staff in the shop - taxis and Ubers are expensive and you won’t get one. Incorrect - taxis and Ubers are cheaper than the transfer, quicker, and more comfortable. If you need to get into the city, my recommendation Uber it - easy and efficient. You can also have a great conversation with driver!! Summary of hotel Rooms basic but clean Swimming pool is large - not enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel Swimming pool not heated and even in 38 degree heat - very cold!!!! (Not a bad thing) Restaurant on site is ok - although great food in the city a short drive away!! Bar - good value and great staff Not a bad hotel - not an amazing hotel

Really great hotel. Facilities are top tier, service is great and friendly. Enough activities to do. Most amazing indoor pool and outdoor though it's deep. Sauna and steam rooms, jacuzzi. It's only a bit far to get to from the centre but there is a shuttle and if you prefer, a train station nearby. Public bus is not always on time but is there. Food is expensive. The meals have to be eaten in courses if you just order the second course rice and chicken for example, you will be in shock. It was legitimately 3 TABLESPOONS of rice under strips of chicken. Breakfast was good.

It was a really nice experience, although we did have a few troubles with the shuttle bus and we were being forced to get kicked out but luckily the manager sorted that out and also the door on the balcony locked us out so we couldn’t get back in to our room, so we had to get someone to help us get out But over it was a really nice day but the pool is very very deep. The shallowest part is 1.4 m and the highest part is around 3.5 m and there is a small kids pool but it’s not very deep. It’s around one meter

It is lovely and clean. Has outdoor pool which is lovely with towels and an indoor pool for over 16s with spa area steam room sauna jacuzzi and places to relax with soothing music. Breakfast is really good too . Had all we needed to relax after a hard day sight seeing

Keep families together which is a good idea but our kids are 16 and 17 . Maybe re think putting families with teenagers with small kids if there is lots of space in other areas

We chose this hotel due to its facilities and proximity to Rome attractions. We could have chilled pool days in between the sight seeing which isn't really possible at central Rome hotels. The room was comfortable and with a modern bathroom. The hotel was veryy clean and the staff were all very friendly. The shuttle was a great option to have although a taxi is as affordable although not quite as reliable from our experience.

Our second time here. It was clean but room could use a refresh, we were in a room over one area of the roof so there were bars on the balcony - didn’t make for an aesthetic view but truthfully we weren’t in the room much so it didn’t matter. The shower head was grungy / that needed to be changed! Otherwise good hotel! Just far enough outside of the city center to be quiet but close enough for a cab ride in at around $30 euro - the hotel has shuttles but with travelling with 2 teenage girls on their own schedule the shuttle didn’t work for us. The pool area is great! But be aware if you want food by the pool bar - they are shut down for good service for a few hours in the afternoon. So don’t get caught hungry in the afternoon by the pool. Drinks are available though throughout the day. Breakfast is awesome! The best we had our entire trip.

This staff and hotel was great for our group. Andrea kept in contact with me for over a year from the beginning planning stages until we reached the property. He offered services such as roundtrip shuttle service from the airport, day tours and transportation to the cruise pier. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the restaurant on property was good for dinner. The onsite Bar had great drinks.

We had a lovely stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The location is great, with easy access to Rome city centre, airports, and the port via the hotel’s shuttle service or reasonably priced taxis. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool and bar area were very nice — perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast wasn’t included in our booking, so we tried it on the first morning. While there was a good selection, I personally didn’t feel it offered the best value for money. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel with excellent service and facilities.
Cons: I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and always enjoy my stay. There’s nothing I didn’t like — consistently a great experience.

Visited in mid-July and cannot thank the staff enough for going above and beyond. They catered to our every need and ensured our stay was extremely positive. Loved the fact that the hotel had a pool, as it was a great way to wind down after a day out sightseeing. The location is great, as all the main sights are easily accessible within 20 minutes. Hi all, stayed 7 nights in Rome at Crown Plaza in July 2025 with wife and 12 year old daughter. Positives below: - 20 mins travel in a car to tourist sites and they run a shuttle bus from the resort to Rome city for a small fee. They also run a shuttle bus to Rome airport which is handy. - outdoor pool is magnificent. I couldn't get my daughter out of the pool, it gets really popular. Outdoor banana lounges around the pool and also has a pool bar selling drinks and food. Just what you need in summer after touring sites all day. - it's like an oasis just outside Rome centre with green open grounds and spaces to escape the mad tourist rampage in the city centre but close enough to tourist sites to not be a hassle. - guest rooms are modern and clean (basic but clean and modern). - resort has a gift shop where you can book daily tours, and all the staff in the resort were really friendly and helpful. - you must book the morning breakfast. we are big breakfast fans and we loved it - opens early and has an amazing selection of food and drinks. - taxi's pull up in a carpark near the front gate so if you need a taxi there is always one available within minutes. Negatives below: - if you are going to eat at the resort restaurant for dinner I would suggest arriving at the restaurant early. We ate there for dinner 3 times, the time we arrived early was fine but twice we arrived close to finishing time and on both occasions, we waited long periods for food to come out which we were not happy about at all. I summary it was an amazing experience and we would definitely stay there again. Only negative was as mentioned the wait on dinner food after ordering late in the evening.

So maybe its because things are just different in Italy compared to the USA but i was underwhelmed. Its nice and had all the conveniences yet still felt lacking. Room was ok. Beds decent and it was clean and didnt smell. Similar to a new budget motel in the states. They do sell train tickets and do money exchange on site which was handy since a pickpocket got all our money on the metro. Rate was kind of high as to be expected. Restaraunt was nice and had great atmosphere but the food wasnt aĺl that. Breakfast buffet was pricey and not good. The cafe machine was great though. Im probably spoiled but for the price ive had so much better.

Our flight got in early and they said we could check in early, the room should be ready in an hour. Three hours later, AFTER official check-in time, our room was still being cleaned. Everyone else that was waiting for rooms were gone before our room was ready. By then, there was no space at the pool to lay out. We couldn’t order take out food at the restaurant and eat outside at the bar for some reason. When we finally went to bed after traveling all day, our air conditioning did not work in one of our rooms. By far, the worst hotel experience ever.

Staff were very helpful and in particular Georgia at reception was great to work with. The bar area was very pleasant with piano music being played very night.
Cons: The air-conditioner in the room uses outdated technology and does not really work. The maintenance manager did try and fix it but it either blows very hot or very cold, and is situated on one side of the room and not effective. Also the furniture in the room and the carpets in the hallways are looking very worn and tired and this hotel is in need of a room upgrade. Guests that form part of the IHG hospitality group should be aware that although our IHG membership number was entered into the system at check-in, we were informed that we would not be able to get points for the stay as a result of making the reservation through booking.com and therefore points on our membership was not valid - even though airlines and other hotel groups do allow for points to be awarded when booking through a travel agent, just not this hotel group.

For the available price, it was a good deal and location. This property is located on several bus lines that serve the city and Vatican, plus can connect to the Metro A. Note a good transit apps is critical, since Italian buses can be, well, irregular, so an app that offers multiple routings and updates for your actual bus is necessary. This hotel is older, and the style shows that. The public areas are dark and cool (quite welcome in the Italian summer), but somewhat older looking. The rooms are perfect adequate in most ways, but anyone with mobility or balance issues needs to review DANGER note at the bottom. Pros: -A/C is strong, effective and easily controlled. -Comfortable beds. -Staff are helpful and attentive. -Excellent breakfast buffet available, currently €12 for an “Italian Breakfast” (a croissant, yogurt and “of course, coffee”) or full buffet €20 (discounted to €15 if ordered for multiple mornings at the front desk) per person. Neutrals: -Sliding patio door key lock is non-functional and pointless, but handle lock does fine. -One outlet only, hidden low behind a table, by the beds. -Switches are convoluted and difficult to decipher. -Parking is signed at own risk/unmonitored, It’s potentially questionable, and no secure parking was available. Cons: -Carpet is tired and needs replacement. -Pump supplies for sink are too far away and shower and sink pumps pinch hands and fingers pumping them due to poorly designed mountings. Likewise, the shaver mirror and outlet are wedged into the corner and blocked by the toilet. - The shower head looks shockingly dirty/nasty until you realize it’s just mineral deposits. -POSSIBLE DANGER: a poorly designed redo resulted in glass sheet sealing 60-70%of the tub, rather than using a shower curtain or door. This forces some contortions to enter the tub, over an ~18” or ~45cm step over that also results in stepping in at the sloping end of the tub. This is quite poor for those with balance or mobility issues, especially as the tub bottom seems to lack non-slip surfacing. There is a grab handle once you are IN the tub, but absolutely no handle for entering/exiting the tub. It is possible, if you are tall enough, to grasp the metal brace from the glass to the wall, but this is surely not designed for that sort of use. If you cannot reach this brace, trying to grasp the edge of the glass seems the only solution. I regretfully suggest anyone with any balance or mobility issues avoid this property unless they can provide an accessible shower/tub. The tub/shower has been equipped with a pull cord alarm for assistance, suggesting management is aware of this risk and chose to address it in a rather inexpensive manner.

Breakfast had a good choice and the staff were helpful. There was a chargeable shuttle bus into town provided by the hotel but it was easier for a family of 4 to catch a cab to all the main sites (about 20 euros each way). Bar was a bit pricey but to be expected. Would stay again.

We love Crown Plaza St. Peter's. It's our go to hotel in Rome! Our family loves dining at the patio of restaurant. They have the menu written in Italian and in English! Our adult kids love the European breakfast. We all love the Turkish bath. The kids wish the outdoor pool was open later than it is. The staff is great. The transporation people are excellent and helpful. The restaurant staff is awesome. What more can I say? We enjoy coming here!

Fin beliggenhet, rett utenfor sentrum. Lett å komme til hotellet med bil og stort pluss med parkering rett utenfor. Fint å kunne kombinere storby med basseng på hotellet, når man reiser med barn. Alle som jobbet på hotellet var svært hyggelige og behjelpelige. Lett å komme inn til sentrum ved hjelp av hotellets transporttjeneste. Barna likte frokosten spesielt veldig godt og de hadde et ok utvalg av glutenfrie varianter.

5 nights at this great hotel with nice and warm staff, good and clean rooms, a great breakfast, and a large and deep pool. And even better, close to no noice where we had our room. The beds are maybe to hard for my back, the outside of the hotel may need a brush-up, and there should have been more beds at the pool. But all in all - fantastic!

This hotel is the best kept secrets in Rome. It's on the outskirts away from the hustle bustle of the city, but close enough to be in city center via their safe, clean and comfortable shuttle very quickly. Restaurants nearby are excellent and the hotel restaurant is excellent also, especially the breakfast. The staff is friendly and some have been there since I first stayed there in 1998. Highest recommendation from me!!!

It was the perfect hotel, well located and very relaxing after a busy day exploring. Amazing pool. Great room, brilliant service, good food and very helpful gift shop. Also great that a shuttle is available to go to the various sites as well as the airport. Definitely recommend.

This hotel is a gem outside of the chaotic city, it is so peaceful and quite. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The food is good and the bar staff is very nice, inside and at the pool. They have a shuttle to downtown close to one of the Big Bus stops and to the airport, very easy to schedule. There is always a taxi outside coming and going. The pool area is very clean and enjoyable and much appreciated at the end of a busy day. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a fine place to stay for the night. Our room was 2 double beds in room 379. The only issue was the Air Conditioner blows directly on to the bed closest to it ... there was no way to readjust the vents to direct the air. As such, I had to use the pillows to block the air from blowing directly on me. That was very annoying. I didn't sleep well as a result. The other bed was fine.

Oasis of calm in a bustling city, but not the standard you would expect of an IHG, Crowne Plaza. Positives: Beautiful grounds, lovely swimming pool and quiet. Reception and pool/ bar staff helpful. Shuttle bus on time and reasonably priced. Restaurant next door is fantastic for lunch and dinner. Negatives: Rooms tired and housekeeping awful. Had to chase twice to have the room serviced. When it was, to be honest it was poor. Shower was not clean. Shower gel left empty for our whole stay. Incorrect numbers of towels. Some days we got bottled water, some days we did not. This may sound a little petty, but just not the standard I’m used to from IHG. Finally we knew the hotel was out of town, but for flexibility needed to take cabs on numerous occasions. These are €25+ each way. Not a complaint or anything to do with the hotel, but please be aware it adds up quickly if you are popping in and out

The hotel itself is a little tired looking and in need of real refurbishment but our stay there was very comfortable and aided by the outdoor swimming pool in 30* temperatures. The staff were generally excellent from top to bottom including the reception, dining staff and cleaning staff with a notable mention to Simone at the pool bar.

Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht: Der Empfang war unkompliziert, sehr freundlich und informativ – viele hilfreiche Hinweise gleich zu Beginn. Unser Zimmer war hervorragend ausgestattet, blitzsauber und technisch in einwandfreiem Zustand – alles funktionierte tadellos. Auch das Frühstück entsprach voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen: frisch, reichhaltig und von einem sehr aufmerksamen, professionellen Team serviert. Insgesamt ein durchweg angenehmer Aufenthalt – schön zu sehen, dass Kontinuität und Qualität hier wirklich gelebt werden.
Cons: Alles war wirklich perfekt! Nur ein Hinweis für zukünftige Gäste (aus eigener Erfahrung 😅): Ich war etwas zu eifrig und habe sofort den Knopf für meine Etage gedrückt – schwupps, ging die Tür direkt zu, bevor die letzte Person richtig drin war… und es hat leicht geknallt. Also: Erst alle Mitfahrer in den Aufzug lassen – dann den Knopf drücken. Spart böse Blicke und blaue Flecken 😉

Úžasný personál, veľmi ochotný, vynikajúca strava. Veľkou výhodou je shuttle bus a tiež možnosť zabezpečenia lístkov na pamiatky. Lokalita je výborná, dostanete sa do centra aj pešo. Iste prídeme zase. V cene pobytu sme mali raňajky, odporúčam ochutnať menu v reštaurácii, varia famózne. 100% všetko.

The location is 30-60 min from the heart of the Rome but it was already known to us and expected. Nice staff and great facility and the shuttle was very convenient. The only problem was the A/C was not working on the last night and couldn't be fixed. I told the front desk about it at checkout.

The accommodations were great, but the food wasn't. Had what we thought were filet mignon labeled as a beef filet, and it was awful. The sauce was good, but the meat was as tough as you get. Three of us were celebrating my daughter's birthday and it was disappointing. They forgot the bread too. We're from the USA.

We stayed in the newly renovated rooms, which were lovely! We stayed there in 2022, and after three years, there has been an amazing improvement. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well!
Cons: I will say that the price of the continental breakfast was the most unsatisfactory part. Especially since you are paying around €20 to get items that should be included in a standard breakfast, like eggs. Another issue is the distance, it would be useful for guests to know how the bus system works to get around for cheaper.

Thank you Fabio and his wonderful crew for being so friendly, attentive and fun! Our check-in was v smooth, and as we arrived at 11 am, I was quite sure we wouldn't be able to get a room. But the receptionist Mr Nicholas was such a dear !! He managed to get one ready !! God sent as we just arrived from Singapore and drove straight here. Again, its location is very good cos it's 25 min to the airport and 20 mins to the center of Rome .. if not traffic! Ample taxis are waiting, and they provide shuttle services for a fee to both the airport and city too. Come and experience something not so often found in and around Rome at very reasonable prices. Free huge carparks. Nice rooms. Especially we like the bathroom and shower. The hotel facade is a little dated but again .. the other factors overwhelm the rest.. Will come back and recommend!! First time in Europe. Booked this hotel because it was cheaper than others and I knew the reputation. The CP did not disappoint. The registration guy was kind, welcoming and informative. The room was king bed room, wonderful. Comfy bed, nice shower. Italian TV but when in Rome.. Went on a cruise and returned 10 days later to the CP. The registration person remembered me! We had a double room this time. It was not as nice as the king room. No rain head shower, but it was welcoming and quiet. We had a nice view of the pool. The stays at the Crown Plaza were very good.

Precisava de um hotel com chegada fácil de carro pra Roma e saída fácil para o aeroporto. É uma excelente opção para quem chega ou sai de Roma dirigindo, ou que não quer ficar no centro da cidade. O estacionamento é muito grande, e pertence à própria estrutura do hotel. Acho difícil que ele fique lotado. Com certeza me hospedarei novamente no hotel caso eu chegue ou saia de Roma dirigindo. O estacionamento é gratuito. Vale também mencionar que existe um serviço de transporte para o centro da cidade por cinco euros por pessoa.

The restaurants were fabulous. The staff was amazing. Whenever I wanted something, the staff would take care of it right away. Most all of the staff spoke English. The only drawback would be the massage because the therapist only spoke Italian, communication problem between the two of us.

Cons: The hotel charged me for 2 reservations and will not return my money. I made one reservation through IHG in November. Never received any confirmation that the reservation went through. Made a second reservation through Booking.com. When I got to the hotel I was told that there are 2 reservations and that they will use my Booking.com one. To get a refund they told me to contact corporate. I did contact corporate after my return to the US. The corporate is saying that I will not get a refund because I was a 'no show'. This is absurd. My familiy did show up in the hotel and was lied about the refund. Lack of integrity and dishonest practice.

Colazione e cena molto buoni, personale gentile e disponibile. Hotel molto grande con mini negozio all'interno dove è possibile acquistare anche i biglietti per i mezzi (la fermata del bus è proprio fuori dall'hotel). Hanno anche un serivzio navetta (a pagamento) che porta verso il centro.
Cons: Non abbiamo potuto utilizzare la piscina (c'è sia interna che esterna) in quanto non sono ammessi minori sotto i 16 anni, sinceramente non l'ho trovato corretto, forse sarebbe meglio applicare questa regola solo per minori non accomagnati da un adulto.

I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Rome – St. Peter’s Hotel & Spa by IHG. We arrived early, and they were kind enough to hold our luggage, which made exploring the city hassle-free. The hotel is modern and well-maintained, with a nice lobby and convenient elevators. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was a comfortable and smooth experience. I definitely recommend this place if you're visiting Rome and looking for quality and convenience.

Nice spa and huge outdoor swimming pool. It wasn't open yet for the summer, but was very inviting.
Cons: The airport shuttle is not worth it, I had to wait outside in the cold for a long time. Breakfast food was mediocre.

We booked a quadruple family room, which was two rooms with an adjoining door. This worked well for us as it gave us two bathrooms and a bit of privacy. The rooms were practical and clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was nice.
Cons: We couldn't adjust the temperature in the room, but it wasn't too uncomfortable. The restaurant attempted to be too posh, but the food was very average, and the service was slow. If you want a quick bite before exploring the city, this is not the place to go. The reception desk staff are too slow when dealing with customers. On two occasions, I had to wait in line for a long time before being spoken with as the staff were dealing with other customers. There should have been one staff member that handles quick enquiries and one that deals with more complicated issues. My biggest issue was the hotel gift shop. They tried to convince me that tickets to the attractions were likely to be unavailable if I tried to purchase them at the gate and that I should purchase them from the gift shop. I thankfully declined and brought my tickets at the attraction and saved a fortune. The hotel gift shop was trying to sell me an adult ticket to the collesium and its associated attractions at €39 for each adult and a €29 for each child ticket. The total would have come to €136 if I had fallen for this scam. I paid only €36 total for the same tickets at the attraction. Avoid this gift shop scam.

Cons: On se sens épié, surveillé. La télécommande de la télévision a disparu. Il a fallu appeler plusieurs fois pour en avoir une autre. Nous étions 3 dans la chambre et il a fallu que j’insiste pour avoir une couette le premier soir pour le canapé lit. On ne m’a pas apporter de draps le premier soir. Le personnel peut parfois être difficile. Même si le spa est sympa, on vous surveille tout le temps

We liked that the rooms were large and had 2 double beds instead of single beds. The hair dryer was even in the bathroom. They provide shuttle service to/from airport, Vatican, Coliseum, Trastevere for a reasonable price. We used taxi service for other areas. Had nice bar and restaurant and great breakfast buffet. Best of all, they had a nice area for smoking which we appreciated greatly. They have a beautiful spa area but the one downfall for me was the low temperature on the jacuzzi. 30c they said but it felt like pool water to me. I only used once in the 5 days we were there. The steam room was awesome and just right temp. I highly recommend this property.
