This hotel is very well positioned, just a 10-15min walk from the Sagrada Familia and 5-10min walk from Casa Batllo and bus tour stop. Taxi from the airport costs 30-40 euros. Large, comfortable bed. Clean room. Small fridge. Enough hanging space and drawers. Complimentary water and tea/coffee (only 2 milk pods per day, but if you catch the staff more are available). Shower wasn't the best, but it was ok (no plug for the bath) - gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Booked a Superior room and requested a quiet one via booking site. Was allocated a room on the 7th floor at the front of the hotel with a narrow, standing only, balcony. I queried whether this was a superior room and the hotel confirmed that it was. Be aware that if you are a light sleeper, there is a LOT of traffic noise, starting before 6am. The glazing is pretty good, but even earplugs didn't block it. This is the reason for the 3☆. Had the room been quieter, it would've scored higher, but I just didn't sleep well. Staff were friendly and professional. Barcelona is a beautiful city.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It had all the amenities I needed and wanted. It was very clean, quiet and safe. I loved the cute rooftop pool and terrace with the personable bartender. There was free coffee and water in the room. The bed was VERY comfortable. I appreciated the large shower and bathroom, which you don't always find in Europe. ;) The A/C worked great and the hotel had elevators thankfully. All of the staff members I encountered were welcoming, helpful and pleasant. Mark and Gonzalo at the front desk provided EXCELLENT customer service!! Gonzalo answered all of my questions before check-in. Mark helped me with all my tourist activities, gave great recommendations, allowed me to check-in early, flagged me down a taxi when I was leaving and made me feel like a very special, appreciated guest!! I would definitely stay there again!!

Also, in our case, appreciate that they serve you in Catalan since in Barcelona in many hotels they hardly even understand you when you speak Catalan. And an excel.lent breakfast.

This hotel is so clean and nice and in a perfect location (everything is walkable!!!). They have great customer service. The hotel feels really sleek with a nice breakfast included. They loaned us outlet converters and were very helpful in giving us directions, etc. Beds are super comfortable - a great option if you want to access all of Barcelona.

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Europark last week. After an initial confusion about rooms (note to anyone booking; the bigger balconies with chairs and tables are at the back of the hotel so make sure to request that!), we were changed to a room at the back of the hotel and the rest of our stay was incredible. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily, reception staff could not have been more helpful. While the rooftop pool is small and more of a "dip to cool down" pool, it was perfect for my 11 year old who isn't a confident swimmer. We didn't include breakfast but went to breakfast two mornings, which while a nice selection was not as extensive as it could be. Outside of that, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend it as a base, because it's super close to Casa Battlo, Sagrada Familia and the metro line.

The room was quiet and comfortable. Woke up one morning without running water, but the hotel was on it immediately. Expedia had said we would receive one free bottle of cava at our stay, but the hotel said that was not the case and instead gave us two free drink vouchers for a glass of wine, cava, or beer only. That was disappointing. The pool and rooftop terrace and bar were excellent!

This hotel is quite awesome. We had a room on the 9th floor with a balcony and a view over the city. The room was nicely appointed, modern and equipped with everything a traveler might need, including in-room coffee, a safe, bathrobes, slippers, etc. The location is great for tourists. The Basílica de la Sagrada Família (huge cathedral) is a 15 min walk in one direction, and less than 10 min in the other direction you will find the Casa Batlló, a curving dragon-roofed apartment block created by architect Antoni Gaudi. Walkability is great, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Easy to recommend!

I stay at Europark Hotel every Year, and I haven't seen another Hotel in the area that I would rather stay at. In my opinion it is the best Location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the nicest part of the main shopping Street and Restaurants. I look forward to my Visits for the lovely, kind and very polite and Helpful Staff, the Beautiful Very clean and Comfortable beds and rooms. Good value for money too. The entire Hotel and Roof Terrace Pool and Barare so well maintained and decorated. Fast check in, and check out by Marc, who was friendly and Polite and I enjoyed talking to him. Thank you all for a lovely stay. See you next Year x

The hotel is really lovely, we had a nice and comfortable stay. The room and bathroom was of good size, the bed was comfortable and the A/C (which often can feel either insufficient or too aggressive) was perfect. The balcony was definitely a plus as well. Even though the rooms have back to back balcony space and it feels like the room next door is very close, it was quiet and we were able rest and sleep very well. My partner is very tall and the bed was big enough too which is often something we struggle with. You also have the rooftop plunge pool with a bar and room service should you need it which was very handy. The location is also amazing, I’ve stayed in Barcelona many times and this felt like really good value for money. Highly recommend.

I have given it 3 stars because the hotel is perfectly located, close to the centre however not in too loud of an area. It is also round the corner to two amazing brunch places (Billy’s Brunch and Kumo). The room was big, however I cannot comment on cleaning standards as we chose not to have our room cleaned. The reason I deducted two stars is for the truly awful customer service I experienced here. I arrived at the hotel early and approached the front desk to ask if I could store my luggage before checking in at 3pm. The person behind the desk (who I believe was possibly a manager) was extremely rude, laughing down at me saying “how am I meant to know who you are? Are you going to give me your name or what?”. I gave him my name and passport and he proceeded to be rude and smug towards me, questioning me about who I was with and when the other guest would be arriving. When he gave me a tag to put on my suitcase, I attached it and he yelled at me about doing it incorrectly, yelling “it is very simple!!”. I was alone as my boyfriend was landing later in the evening, and this was the first time I felt anxious being alone in Barcelona. It was so awful that I felt too uncomfortable going to the hotel desk for the duration of my stay without my partner. The other members of staff seemed nice, it was just a shame that I was greeted by someone incredibly rude, and that was my first impression of the hotel. I hope they are able to improve this, as I would have rated 5* without hesitation if it wasn’t for this incident.

If you want drama in your hotel stay or stunning views, this place is not for you. But if you want a quiet, well designed space, outstanding bedding, great location, professional staff and excellent breakfast, this place is for you. This is now one of my favorite hotels in Europe. The rooms are completely renovated and the designers used the space very well. I am sorry I didn't take pictures, but the property picture are accurate. The built in storage is very convenient and allows you to store away several of your items. The safe fits a laptop. The bathroom has two massive heated mirrors and full length quartz shelves running the complete length. This gives you ample space for all of your health and beauty products. This is truly a rarity even in a 5 star hotel, but it's just part of the well thought out design in this hotel. The shower is excellent - great pressure and temperature - and the climate control worked very well. As mentioned, the breakfast is excellent and the breakfast staff is very friendly. It is a buffet setup, but they bring fresh items around to all the tables, as well. The location is between Segrada Familia and the Gothic Quarter. We walked to both, but there are numerous cabs passing by, so very easy to take a cab if you are tired or in a hurry. I cannot speak to public transit because we didn't have time on this trip to figure out the system, but cabs in Barcelona are reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

Besides being in a great location (walkable to Gaudi-renowned architecture and the large and convenient metro Passeig de Gracia station and beautiful Eixample area), my room had a private terrace with table and chairs, nice bathroom & comfortable bedding, gym, rooftop pool, and very quick response to my temperature thermostat questions. As I am a breakfast person that likes to eat early and start my adventures, the breakfast buffet is wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay here for four nights recently, couldn’t recommend the hotel higher. From the moment my partner and I arrived we were made to feel welcome, Gonzalo on reception was super friendly and although we arrived ahead of check in, took our bags and was very informative. We stayed in the penthouse terrace overlooking the sagrada familial, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne on arrival, our room was spacious and spotless and was situated in the heart of Barcelona within walking distance of the main tourist attractions. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety and reasonably priced. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely use this hotel again.

The location was good but the room was quite small. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony although there was no view. We did not receive the bottle of wine as a VIP perk, but the hotel offered Cava each evening in the lobby, which was fine. We were not happy that on our last day at the hotel, we got stuck in the elevator with no emergency button or phone. We called and called for more than 30 minutes before one of the cleaning staff heard us and sent someone to pry open the door so we could jump down to the floor. None of the staff ever checked to make sure we were okay or offered any kind of compensation.

The hotel is as expected from a three star hotel, but the room was not as clean as expected from a hotel. We experienced a lot of dust in the room. The daily cleening was just changing the towel and make the bed. We missed better cleaning in the bathroom during the stay (one week) The breakfast was simple, but good enough. There are a lot of good options for breakfast in the area nearby. The check in procedure was very slow and could have been improved, but the personnel was very nice and did their best.

Very clean and well-located. What I appreciated the most was that the room had hardwood floors instead of carpet. The highlight of my stay was the incredible kindness and warmth of the staff working during breakfast—they were truly impressive. The housekeeping staff also did an absolutely perfect job. This is an ideally located property in the heart of E’ixample. The front desk staff and the ladies at the breakfast buffet were extremely friendly and attentive. And there’s multiple metro stations within easy walking distance that you can use to get to any point of the city. And you can walk up to the Sagrada Família in under 10 minutes. Although it’s a small hotel, I really like how spacious the rooms were and how friendly the staff was. A lot of Gaudí’s work is at walking distance so felt like it, it was a nice, walkable, and safe location to stay at. The specific reason we stayed at this hotel was because how they advertised their pool, but it had been out of order throughout our stay so that was the only little disappointment we had, and also it wasn’t heated. Overall, the experience was good!

I booked Hotel Europark after extensive research through various blogs on the best area of Barcelona for our 4-night stay in mid-March on the first leg of our honeymoon. L'Eixample (once we learned to pronounce it) was a perfect area for metro and food access. The hotel was exactly as pictured online, check-in was easy and came with complimentary champagne (for everyone, we hadn't mentioned honeymoon yet). The whole hotel has a lovely floral scent and we never heard any street noise, other residents, or the elevator. The elevator is small but not unusual for Europe. Our American-king size bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of outlets, though one side of the bed had USB ports only. The bathroom was very spacious, especially for Europe, and we got the loose shower head to work fine. The water got hot quickly and had good pressure. The towels were big, if a little rough. We would definitely stay here again if we visited Barcelona. It was easy to get to our morning activities, come back for a siesta, and then go out again.

The Hotel Europark is located in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample neighbourhood. It’s located within walking distance of such landmarks as Casa Battló, Casa Milà and Passieg de Gràcia. Despite being on the busy street Carerr d’Aragó, our street-facing room was very quiet when the windows and doors were closed. Climate controls worked well, and the room was clean, comfortable and in excellent condition. The room and common areas were stylishly decorated. There is a breakfast option with the room rates, or you can pay for it separately. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth it. My husband and I did it one morning and it was rather average. There are loads of food options nearby that I would recommend instead. Overall, this hotel is well-located, quiet and comfortable - an excellent home base for a trip to Barcelona. The value for money is also what makes this place stand out amongst its competitors.

You're about a 3 minute walk to the nearest metro, a 14 minute walk to the sagrada familia, and if you want to take the metro to la rambla street or the gothic quarter it's about 15 minutes via metro walking. There's a huge variety of restaurants/cafes nearby and there's a convenience/grocery store right around the corner of the hotel. The hotel provided a lot of amenities such as an in-room safe and safe in lobby for expensive items you don't want to keep in your room, a mini-fridge, TV, towels, body soap/shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, phone, towels, tissue, etc. The hotel and neighborhood was quiet and safe and it's a great escape after a busy night in the downtown city. We were able to get an early check-in but the hotel does also offer the option for you to leave your luggage in the lobby until your room is ready if you have an early arrival. We didn't get the breakfast buffet, but I heard good reviews about it. To get to the hotel from the airport using the metro you're gonna wanna take the L9 to Collblanc, then take the L5 to Verdaguer then walk about 4 min to the hotel. Overall, this is a great hotel if you're looking for something safe but budget friendly and in a great location!

A great place to stay in Barcelona, most attractions are a walking distance from the hotel… don’t bother taking an Uber or taxi, the traffic is crazy. The receptionist were excellent, offered us a glass of Champagne as soon as we checked in. Would come back to this place if I ever go back to Barcelona!

Nice hotel, spacious rooms and clean. The only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower seemed low. The staff are efficient and get the job done and are friendly enough. The included buffet is pretty good, and a nice way to start your day. The staff in the buffet restaurant are amazing and will start your day with a smile. The location is great, 15 minute walk to Sagrata Familia. Close to a number of metro stations, supermarkets, pharmacies...we ended up walking everywhere, as the city is so beautiful and the November weather was unseasonably warm. Pretty sure you will not regret staying here...would stay again.

The Europark Hotel in Barcelona is centrally located and within walking distance of many attractions. We stayed here after arriving a day early for our cruise and were able to store our luggage at the hotel and sightsee until our room was ready, later in the afternoon. The staff was very accommodating and check in was fast and easy. Our room was modern and very quiet. We had breakfast at the hotel and were very satisfied with the food and service. The hotel gave us great recommendations for dining and we enjoyed our stay. On leaving, we left an item behind and were immediately contacted by the hotel by email. They were more than helpful and went out of their way to see that the situation was solved (we couldn't have asked for more). We would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again on our next visit!

Stayed at Europark two different times while we were on vacation around Spain for a week. Both times, checking in & out was very quick & proficient. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff was very courteous and helpful whenever we needed recommendations or to answer any questions we may of had. Mark at the front desk went above and beyond and was nothing less than a rock star the entire time we were staying on the property. Pool was a nice touch to go and have a drink and relax before or after exploring the city. Our bartender Juan was also amazing at paying close attention to anything we needed while we were there. Needless to say, when we return to Spain, we will be staying at Hotel Europark in the El Exiample neighborhood, it was far enough away from all the tourist areas, but also close enough to walk or a short taxi ride to anywhere you would like to go.”

Overall this is a good place to stay, it is a bit out of the way for all the tourist attractions but if you don’t mind walking then it’s fine. The staff were kind and helpful. The pool area needs a bit of a face lift, it’s acceptable but nothing outstanding. The rooms are clean and are quite a good size for Europe. Overall would recommend but probably will stay elsewhere next time just because of the location.

The hotel is lovely. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The shower was good, although would have preferred it a bit stronger. The pool area was great to relax at with pool and beds. Towels were provided and a bar service on a few days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our bags were looking after when we checked out and we could store documentation in a safe. We also still got to use the the rooftop services. It was in a great area for the main attractions and restaurants.

The location is great! Walkable to the Gaudi houses which is how we started our day. Also close to the Sagrada Familia and walkable to public transportation. The staff was very kind when our flight was delayed and our state changed and spent over 10 minutes reviewing the area with us on a map when we first arrived. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious to get ready in. I would recommend this hotel to all of their friends and family due to the location. It was a great value for its price. It partners with other hotels around the city and we were able to enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace of one of the nicest hotels in Barcelona, which was a great experience. They do not have a lobby bar but this was not a dealbreaker since a block away our multiple coffee, shops, restaurants, and bars. Very close to another Open air market, which was closed during our stay, but we heard can be great.

It's pretty good, but we paid for the balcony room and got a room facing the back of all of the buildings so there wasn't a point to go out on the balcony. They only provided two bottles of water and things in mini fridge are not free. Room is slightly outdated but it isn't too bad. We never had our room cleaned because we received a paper that said things that are not in our safe are not hotel's responsibility, which didn't make sense to me, so even though we stayed there for five days we didn't have the room cleaned once.
