You simply cannot beat the location. Nestled between the Louvre and Place Vendôme, it’s walking distance to many of Paris’s major landmarks, metro stations, and high-end shopping. Perfect for first-time visitors or anyone wanting to explore central Paris on foot. ”Normal” shopping isn’t around the corner, about 20 min walk you can reach Zara, HM, galerie laffayette etc. The decor of the hotel was classic. While the room was charming, some of the furnishings felt a bit dated, and the bathroom could use a refresh. We stayed in a two room suite but the rooms didn’t have proper closets. Room service was fast and food was better than expected.

Second stay at Westin Vendome in a couple of years. My wife also stayed there during a state visit when it was the Intercontinental, which was in better shape. The staff is nice and accommodating, general ‘public’ areas are relatively well maintained, but that’s about it. This hotel definitely went downhill since our last visit a couple of years ago, and especially since my wife stayed there during her work trip a while back. What’s unfortunate is that most issues with that hotel are easy fixes (e.g. broken toilet seat, really cheap curtains and curtain rods that have no place in a hotel like this, dust and crumbs from previous guests). Not to say that it doesn’t need a bit of an overhaul, but it’s amazing how a clean room without crumbs on the couch and coffee table, dental floss on the carpet, or broken toilet seat with rotten wood in the bathroom will leave you with a lasting and positive impression. The good. Excellent location, across the street from the Louvre Museum and Place Vendôme. Depending on your room, the outside view is amazing (both times we were in a suite, so I can’t speak for other rooms). The bad. Room felt (and was) dirty. I really hate to say this because staff was nice and tried hard, but our room was consistently dirty. Hotel is run down, compounded by a lack of maintenance and cleaning service. Both full baths in our room were severely worn and degraded. This hotel has great potential. It has good bones and a strong foundation, but needs a facelift and a lot of care/maintenance. We will likely stay at Le Meurice next door during our next visit because the Westin isn't cheap, and I'm not sure it's worth the price anymore.

Loved the room. Very comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING! Eggs to order, great buffet---no complaints. Breakfast seating and service was quick and attentive. Would definitely stay here again due to its location close to the metro lines and you can walk to the other side of the river on a foot bridge in just minutes. Our taxi driver said it is closing for a 3-year renovation next week.

Wonderfully located and the front desk personnel are quite hospitable. Had we known that the hotel is being closed shortly for a major renovation though, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere. The property is quite run-down, which makes sense given the imminent project - just doesn't make for a very pleasant stay at this time.

Poorly lit lobby very old and poorly done up place. Dark and dingy feel as you enter the reception. When you zig zag and enter your room from the lift, the appearance of the room is of like a hostel bed. The only good thing is the balcony. But everything else is at just a stretch of a hand. There Aircon is from BC and takes the whole night to cool. The bar Tolliries (hopefully I have spelt the name correctly) is the good place. Overall experience was poor and unlike a Westin and a hotel with some stars.

Our room was terrible, air conditioning did not worked, the room was too hot and could not sleep, opened the windows and mosquitos came inside. No housekeeping on the first day and we asked twice for it, towels in very bad shape. Tiles in the bathroom look dirty. Definitely not what we expected for the price.

My 10 year old daughter and I spent two nights here in March and had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is wonderful- walkable to the Louvre, the luxury shopping area of Place Vendome, and Maxim's. Many other top Paris sights easy to get to from here as well. The room was clean and comfortable, if a little small. We ordered room service for breakfast one day and it was punctual and tasty.

The Westin is located in the heart of the fashion district between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde. It is a short walk from the Musee d’Orsay. The closest metro stop is less than 5 minutes to get anywhere in the city. Our room was South Southwest facing with sweeping views of the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre. The disadvantage to a street facing room is the traffic noise found in any large city. Some of the rooms face an interior courtyard and are very quiet. The staff and service are excellent. The front desk and concierge departments are as good as any hotel we have ever been to. There are certainly some deferred maintenance issue on the building but that is not surprising as it was built in 1878 as the Hotel Continental. My primary concerns about our room were the difficulty of getting in and out of the large slippery tub shower and the bed was not on par with other Marriott properties we have been to. The included breakfast was very nice.

This hotel was better than expected. Some of the reviews we read mentioned that the rooms were outdated, however, we did not find this to be a deterrent and in fact felt it was part of the historical charm for a hotel in the city. All of the staff were wonderful, the restaurant food was delicious and our view was nothing short of spectacular. We loved being within walking distance of almost everything. Would stay again!!!

The location is great - a stone’s throw away from the Louvre and other spots. The rooms are incredibly small and dingy though - the bed wasn’t made right, scuff marks everywhere, and the wood around the bathtub was peeling off and looked like it’s seen better days. The front desk is also… not great. It’s not because of the staff! They’re great. It’s just that they did not have enough people at all at the reception. None of these are deal breakers but worth keeping in mind

Worst experience ever. Very dirty hotel and very old with damaged furniture. Even the sofas had stains and holes in them which were patched. Rude staff from top to bottom starting with Jean-Marc Michel the General manager and his henchmen Titika Rapanaki-Bigot all the way down to the reception and bellmen. Very petty hotel which will nickel and dime you for the most insignificant items. They don’t even have a coffee machine in the rooms. Their bell boys don’t deliver your shopping unless you’re in the room. Most importantly, I didn’t receive the category of room which I was promised. Wish I had spit in their faces before leaving. When I voiced my concerns to the manager, he said the lack of service is because the hotel is closing soon anyway. I asked for the GM on multiple occasions but he just evades you like a weasel.

The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. On our last night we got a private tour of their grand reception halls and they were amazing! Such a hidden gem! Make sure to take the time to check them out. The rooms were roomy and clean. The location was fantastic. Close to everything we wanted to see. I will definitely book here again when I return and will recommend to all my friends.

Rims are slightly dated in the photos on the internet are much nicer than they are in person. It was a nice hotel and we were in a $800 per night suite which seemed really expensive for what we got. Constant police sirens all night long. the service was incredible Dell and they were nice enough to give us a bottle of champagne on our arrival with some suites.

Nice hotel in good location within walking distance of a lot of attractions and cafes/ shops. The hotel is a bit older so the bathroom had a some water damage on the wood panel in front of the tub and there was a small bit of mold in the corner of the shower wall near the handheld shower wand, but not an issue if you don’t mind. Room service was great (food and service). All staff were quite helpful and responded to our requests quickly. We needed another box of tissues and toilet paper and both were delivered with 10 mins. Not that the Expedia website indicates there is valet parking for $30/ day, but the hotel no longer provides this service. You can self park in a nearby garage, but the cost is $50/ day and no in and out privileges. My only con was that there wasn’t a coffee machine and kettle for tea in the room. However, complimentary small water bottles were provided each day of our stay which was nice.

Decent hotel, very large, so the rooms vary. We were in a small(er) room which seemed like it was in the attic area. Lol! (meaning we had to almost duck to get to our hallway and out of the window we could touch the roof) It was cute but I would definitely want something different if I stayed here again. Beds were just ok. The hotel is in an excellent location! This is the reason we chose it. Walking distance to many things like the Louvre. Metro station is steps away and only a few stops from Arc de Triomphe.

We have stayed at The Westin in Vendome multiple times since 2015, with the most recent stay in 2024. Over the years, my family and I have appreciated the convenient central location in the 1st arrondissement of Paris and the professional team at the Westin. The GM, Mr. Michel, and the Deputy GM, Mr. Trancher, had dedicated the time to greet us and perfect our stay in Paris. After a long flight, a bottle of champagne, some French macaroons, and a personally written card were magnificent and greatly appreciated. This hotel featured over 400 rooms, and we have had the opportunity to experience various room types throughout our many stays. During our most recent stay in 2024, we were allocated one of the Royal Suites with balconies on Rue de Rivoli and Rue de Castiglione. The well-maintained suite offered unobstructed views of the Tuileries Garden, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower. Despite the high occupancy during our recent stay, we were impressed with the courteous front desk associates and greatly appreciated the professional service and follow-through. In conclusion, we are grateful for all the memorable stays and wish the team at The Westin Vendome all the best as they embark on a new journey in 2025.

Staying at the Westin was a massive mistake. The location is fantastic and the lobby was very nice. That’s about it. It’s falling apart slowly and run so poorly. I wish I never booked here. We paid $2,500. more for this hotel than the Melia around the corner because of past experiences w the St Regis but this experience wasn’t even close. We just spent 5 nights in London at a Melia property, the M E and it’s such a stark comparison. Getting off the elevator to our floor I was hit with a bad odor like smelly feet that seemed to float in the hallway. I couldn’t sleep and smelled that smell in our room along w other issues in our room from a leaky faucet, stained sheets and a shower that wouldn’t drain. We complained the next day and Donila (spelling-super sweet manager)changed rooms for us. It didn’t smell so I was happier but it was equally as tired. Besides Donila, It seemed like everyone was going through the motions. Like I said it seems like small items aren’t being handled and we heard the hotel is about to be redone this quarter. The hotel just needs things fixed not a total overhaul. Paint peeling, smelly hallway chairs (1st floor chairs by the elevator are gross and smell. Our kids were separated from us so I sat there waiting for them, so gross) They must’ve sprayed the hallway after we complained because the feet smell went away. Just so disappointed in the Westin and will never stay there again.

I wanted to give five stars but the coffee situation was not acceptable. I see no reason for no coffee in the room. With that said, the coffee in the reception area was broken half the time and no coffee service before 7:00. No reason for that. The rooms and staff however are great. This is an older hotel but the bathrooms were modern and well stocked. Housekeeping was 5 stars and the bar was fantastic!

This is my third stay at the Westin Vendome. It has gone down hill - so much so, it tarnishes the Westin brand. I stayed there last year and it was “fine” (meaning, passable for the price), but this year, my stay was so bad that I checked out early and stayed elsewhere for the remainder of my trip. The noise level makes it absolutely impossible to sleep. You can hear every conversation in the halls, the housekeeping carts, and the UNDERGROUND METRO every 5 minutes even though I was on the second floor. The hotel needs to be gutted. The hallways smell moldy, the carpet is filthy, the rooms are old and not functional. For example, there are no outlets on one side of the bed; our chandelier also had a huge burn in the lamp shade. No matter how much the room is cleaned, the room still looks dirty. Pros - The rooms vary in terms of sizes, but the bigger sized one has a spacious bathroom and bedroom. The location is A+ right on the park. Cons - the noise is unacceptable (a lack of insulation perhaps?). the shower is not ADA friendly, and requires a step up from the floor and slippery. The rooms are not well maintained. The concierge is plain rude and doesn’t respond to emails or give good recommendations.

The hotel is old but charming and location is incredible (though busy) We arrived (female and one child) with lots of luggage - nobody came to assist so had to leave child to go find a luggage cart and try stack the luggage myself. This is in a very busy area in the rain with a lot of theft .Asked several male security for assistance who said "he was coming", but didnt offer to help - eventually saw the luggage attendant helping some men who arrived after me into a taxi. (if you know its going to be busy, extra luggage attendants should be out front at check in) Woke up next day to heavy construction outside my room on street and in the hallway directly oustide room, (seemed to be fixing something in the ceiling) so sleeping in was impossible. Heat never worked and it was cold, room covered in dust (but old building), but even if I lay down my phone it would be covered in dust after an hour. Didnt stay very long (two nights)

I would first like to say that this was not our first time at the Westin Paris. On previous trips, they have been fine however because of the treatment and the state of the room, this will be our last. Because of our status with Marriott, we were given an upgrade from the category of which we originally booked, which was a Eiffel Tower view room. The upgrade was for an ambassador suite Received confirmation of the upgrade along with confirmation that your room is ready. About an hour and a half later when we checked in, sometime between 12 noon and 2 PM. we found that they had given our room away and the room that they did put us in did have an Eiffel Tower view if you were a contortionist There were multiple spots throughout the entire bathroom that had rust, including around the toilet hinge along and around the tub area. The carpet had not been properly vacuumed. There was a pile of trash from the previous guest that remained in the hall in front of our door for over six hours. Since our stay, I have had numerous conversations with the general manager of the property. The result of these conversations did not end up to my satisfaction The property does not care. The property is a major need of a renovation and they do not put the guest first. They were given the choice to either adhere to the upgrade given by corporate or to sell the room out right at full freight . What the Westin Paris did to us was a complete slap in the face. I would not recommend this property to anyone. There are plenty of beautiful hotels in the city to choose from. It is also worth noting that if you read the reviews of the Westin Paris for the entire month of November 20 24 They are not good. Not good at all.

I was here for a meeting and while the room was spacious and a beautiful view, I was on Floor 1 right about the Metro and across from the Jardin de Tuileries x-mas market with loud amusement rides. You could literally feel the vibrations from the Metro every 5 min, even while sleeping. The amusement rides went on late into the night and this is on a very busy (think honking) traffic area. If you want to be in a great location for Place Vendome, this hotel wins, but it is also in the more expensive district and very loud. Stay in Relais Hotel du Louvre instead. Your rooms and bath will be smaller there, than the Westin but it will be silent and you will be in a more artsy district when you cross the Pont Neuf. The meeting food was also not good. I left a scarf behind and the cost to return it was 120 euros. That was also not appreciated. However, the cleaning staff were terrific and the room was spotless.

I love this hotel -- have stayed here three times! The location and friendly staff are my favorite things. I would however make two recommendations that would make the experience PERFECT: 1 - coffee/tea in the room, most hotels have that now and it is great for early morning 2 - separate bathtubs/showers. The bathtub/shower combo makes it hard for older people to get out of the shower

I had another fantastic stay, and the breathtaking view, especially with Christmas approaching, made it even more magical. The hotel itself is a beautiful and elegant place, with warm and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. This wasn’t my first visit, and I certainly don’t regret coming back. The hotel's reception areas, ballrooms and other shared areas are very nice. However, the bedrooms themselves are not as good - they are in desperate need of an update. Property is in Vendome, need I say more! Convenient to walk to Champs and so much more. Nice property, we had a little bit of an issue where our AC did not work, we had a mechanic come check the situation at night and he said he'll have to look into it during the day. As nothing happened in the early morning, I asked the front desk if they know of when this can be fixed or I can have a room changes and instead of looking into all that, the front desk asked me if I know how to operate an AC and if I was doing it right. Hmmmm...the maintenance guy confirmed that there is a problem so why should it matter? I did get a partial refund so that was nice of them. Nevertheless, I'd recommend this place due to the cleanliness and location.

My room was a “privilege room”, supposed to be as the name suggests, with privileges. Very poor in amenities, didn’t have a coffee machine or tea in the room, furniture a bit old and needed some maintainance;

It’s overpriced it was easily double the cost of another hotel we booked and had a mouldy shower. Check in staff was amazing !

Disappointed with our room—definitely in need of updating and wildly overpriced. We expected a much nicer room based on the pictures and reviews.

I am extremely sorry to write this however it is unacceptable to receive such low level of service from a five star hotel. The cleanliness of the room, the quality of the sheets, the state of the bathroom, everything was NOT five star. I stayed at the Presige suite (3101 and 3103) today only the bedroom was cleaned and not the living room. The toiletries were dumped at the front of the door and my son tripped when we entered the room. Then we had a house keeper (man) knock on the door. I (lady) was in bed in my night clothes asking repeated to not enter. He barged in and insisted on leaving something in the bathroom. I almost had to scream to ask him to please leave as it’s a private space. This is absolutely unacceptable. It has been nothing short of a horrible stay here and we couldn’t wait to leave. That should not be the feeling from staying at a Westin brand and five star hotel.

This hotel is in need of serious renovations. The room was dirty, small, dark, and unkept, outdated equipment, old bathroom and facilities. It should be offered for €100/night not 600/night for an entry level room. I would never come back and surely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money, not even your precious Marriott points are worth it.

This hotel needs some major upgrades! For the cost you are not getting what you are paying. It’s a large room and nice bed, but overall very very dated and not that nice for the price. Good location to public transportation. I would not pay $500 a night to stay here again!

This hotel is overpriced and looking a bit shabby. A shadow of its former days. Given the location you would think it would be top class. By way of proof, on our last morning our room was flooded by a burst water main in the ceiling somewhere. The bed and bathroom were comfortable. What was the beautiful restaurant at the center courtyard is filled mostly with unused tables and chairs.

The hotel is in a perfect location, the rooms are clean, and the resturant is great. The free water bottles are a good touch also. But what stood out is the staff. They were all very attentive but special attention should be paid to Laurence who made the impossible happen. She was able to secure me a Royal Suite for my mom. It was mom’s first time in Paris and it made the difference waking up in that room with the view of the Eiffel Tower every morning. Laurence thank you for making the experience unforgettable.

The Westin is gross. From the carpet when you walk in, to the hallways, to the check-in area, to the carpet in the rooms, to the shower curtains, chipped furniture. We have stayed in other Westins that were amazing - this place is a dump. The only thing good about it was the nice staff. We checked in then checked out ten minutes later when we saw the room. The manager was amazing. So polite, understanding, didn't argue, made it all easy, offered to help with another hotel. WESTIN - do better. This place is gross.

I had a very nice room with Eiffel Tower views. The staff was great. If only the breakfast room was more bright to start the day off right, and a lot more on the buffet to choose from. Overall nice hotel.

If you stay here don’t plan on hospitality being a part of your stay. It was a beautiful place in a good location. The shower had a whole strip along the wall covered in mold like a hole. Then I ordered the taxi in advance the day before for 6:30am when they called us at 6:09 and we came right down. We got downstairs by 6:20 on the dot (our room was far and they didn’t come get our luggage like I asked) when we got down the bell guy was on his phone, annoyed and wouldn’t help me carry the suitcases down the stairs. When we got to the door the taxi was gone. He never held the car for us.

This is a perfect position when you stay in Paris. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. Particular, thanks to Philippe Bonnet one of the concierge who assisted us. We were particularly touched by the hotel’s acknowledgement of my wife’s birthday. Will stay again without doubt.

A very American hotel in Paris. They have all the conveniences of the US and the perfection of the French. Staff, reception, security-one night some kids decided to park outside the hotel at 2 am and blast loud music and have a small party-security was on top of that and ended it quickly without incident, everything was lovely. Bigger rooms than most in Paris is a huge plus. King sized bed and a lovely bathroom larger than a port o potty that many luxury hotels in Europe offer. Excellent hotel

We enjoyed our stay, but the location is noisy, and the communication with the hotel was not easy. We waited for a text to alert us we were ready for check in which never came. It was difficult to get room service to answer the phone... But the rooms were cleaned every day and we had a balcony to overlook the Tuileries garden.

I have been staying here for years and remains a “return to”! The rooms are larger than most and everything is so clean and comfortable. The staff is most helpful, nice and go out of their way to be helpful. It’s close to the best shopping in Paris!!!! Love, love, love the Paris Westin!!!!!!
