Though not in the center of Catania this is still the best hotel in the area. The position facing sea is excellent. Large lobby. Restaurant limited but still very good and well priced. The rooms are really comfortable and many have been renovated. All necessary is there including coffee machine. The breakfast of this hotel us incredible and includes lots of local food like cannot. Excellent parking. Staff very friendly. Hotel full of art exhibitions that keep changing.

We had a nice room with sea view from balcony. The room was spacious with a double sink bathroom. The bed was comfy. The hotel was best situated to get out of town towards Taormina, Etna or Siracuse. Breakfast was good, with a variety of choices. Parking was plenty probably for this time of the year.

Mega colazione InterContinental, come granita di mandorle fresca, crep fatto al momento, cannoli Siciliani, e anche lo spumante era posizionato in un tavolo a parte con rispettivi bicchieri di fruit.... è al massimo.
Cons: Purtroppo allo spa c'è un pavimento molto scivoloso , e la vasca di Jacuzzi non era utilizzabile. Abbiamo pagato il biglietto x un ora, ma non potevamo nemmeno provare. Le altre coppie che erano presenti, erano idem sconcertati! Abbiamo una vasta esperienza nel benessere, acqua termale ecc.... Viaggiando nel mondo, ma l'acqua bollente così non abbiamo mai visto!🤐 Pazienza, li abbiamo regalati questa somma!

The hotel's athmosphere is so serene, with the fountains and open spaces. The service was fantastic from everyone we interacted with. . Our Suite was amazing, very spacious, with beautiful balconies to relax on, with very special photos and artifacts. Everything we asked for was arranged and prepared even before our arrival (special thanks to Mr Igor and Mrs Ilenya - you made our vacation a true vacation) The breakfast is mind blowing, with orange juice machine, fresh authentic foods from Sicily and great service ( AnaMaria, Adina and everyone at breakfast). Thanks to Simona , Elga and Analuisa at front desk and Dario for helping us once we arrived. We had such a great time at this hotel, would love to come back.

Cons: A foglalás során a képek nem adják vissza, hogy ez egy régi szálloda, csak részben felújított. Egy konferencia idejében érkeztünk és valószínűleg a legrosszabb szobát kaptuk. Szobacsere csak nagyon nehezen történt. Ott ki sem volt takarítva, semmi bekészítés, minden hiányzott. A gyönyörű medence a kilátással páratlan volt, de az is zárva volt pedig a neten még azt írták, nyitva. Ezeken felül a szauna is feláras volt.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Catania. The hotel is comfortable and well equipped, with everything you need for a relaxing few days. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant was very decent, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with a great selection and delicious Sicilian cannoli — a real treat each morning! Although the swimming pool was closed due to the time of year, the hotel still offered a peaceful atmosphere with lovely sea views. One thing to note is that the beach across the road is rocky, so it’s not really for swimming, but it’s nice for a short walk or to enjoy the sea breeze. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return — a great base for exploring Catania and Mount Etna.

Breakfast was much better (and a greater variety) than most US hotel standard fare. Bar was open for extended periods with a wide variety of drinks available. Rooms were nice. Front desk staff were very helpful.
Cons: Halls were not vacuumed. Bar "food" limited. Common area was dated. Pigeons were also patrons of the outside dining area and had to be chased from tables where customers had gone to refill their drinks, etc.

I use to visit four points in Shanghsi, China and exlected the same atmosphere etc. The hotel is nice, close to the sea. The mcommon thing that i didn't like is that most of the staff was polite but un pleasent. Looks like they don't want to be here. The breakfast was nice but not more than that. Coffee was good but no varaity of cheeses, vagtebles and fruits. It was good for the 1st 2 nights in Sicily. The bar: 10€ for campari 5€ for beer.

Das Personal sah gelangweilt aus hat auch nur die Hälfte vom Tisch abgeräumt. Kein Service am Tisch. Das Hotel ist niemals 4 Sterne wert...

Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und die Lage ist gut. Es ist sehr sauber. Allerdings alles schon recht alt.

The surroundings were very pleasant with all the greenery hanging by the reception. I enjoyed looking at all the artwork on display. It was a nice surprise to have a small balcony.

The cleaning was actually bad, they are cleaning only the surface, my table was never cleaned within 9 nights. The restaurant for dinner may say to you they can’t have a table for you

Cons: The hotel felt like it’s worn down and needs maintenance The breakfast was basic and no variations .. not even an egg station. Room cleaning was inconsistent The pool was so disgustingly dirty with dead bugs and HAIR BUNDLES! They advertise on site parking but don’t mention it costs an extra 14 euros per day and is apparently under different management Sauna is promoted as part of the hotel but again not mentioned that it also costs an extra fee of 18 euros per person and must be booked in advanced for certain time slots. These things should be clear for the guests

Wygodny hotel. Bardzo przyjemna część basenowa. Dobre śniadania. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania wschodniej części wyspy. Pokoje bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Fajny parking hotelowy (aczkolwiek dosyć drogi).
Cons: Pokoje mają już swoje lata, co widać na każdym kroku (przydałby się remont). Wieczorami potrafi być dosyć głośno w okolicy. Trochę drogi parking hotelowy.

Este hotel tiene todo lo necesario para pasar varios días en Catania. Está alejado del centro pero la zona vale mucho la pena, mucho más tranquilo y con acceso a la playa. Lo mejor la increíble zona de piscina y el buffet del desayuno. El trato del personal es impecable, nosotros tuvimos un problema con la habitación y nos lo resolvieron.

Es un hotel cómodo si te tienes que quedar en Catania, tiene piscina, la habitación que nos tocó es amplia y el desayuno - aunque cuesta 12€ - merece la pena.
Cons: No hay mucho que hacer alrededor del hotel. No hay ni un solo restaurante que merezca la pena. Y en el hotel el menú es bastante caro para la calidad que ofrece. Las fotos y el nombre Four Seasons te hacen pensar o imaginar que te vas a encontrar con la versión cataniense del White Lotus, y no es más que un hotel de congresos venido a menos. La piscina es bastante más pequeña de lo que parece, y las vistas no son al mar, sino a la carretera.

Freundlicher Empfang beim Check-in. Tiefgarage vorhanden, allerdings ist das Parken an der Straße deutlich günstiger. Strand und Poolbereich waren sehr gut gepflegt und boten eine schöne Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Frühstück war reichhaltig und qualitativ hochwertig. Snacks und Speisen an der Poolbar waren lecker und preislich fair.
Cons: Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, aber nicht mehr modern – überall alte Teppiche. In Zimmer 204 traten unangenehme Gerüche aus dem Lavabo auf, und die Armaturen im Bad waren defekt. Die Badewannen-Dusche in Zimmer 221 ist nur für sehr kleine Gäste geeignet. Das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant war eher teuer und die Portionen klein – unsere Kinder hatten danach noch Hunger.

Cons: Per vedere il mare in camera bisognava andare sulla parte più estrema del terrazzino e sporgersi, bagno fatiscente e con un bel po' di capelli dietro la porta.

Cons: À notre arrivée, ils nous ont donné deux chambres non rénovés, salle, odorante, pas du tout du standing pour lequel nous avions payé, ils ont fait de même avec un couple juste après nous puisque nous avons entendu aussi ce couple râler pour les mêmes raisons. C’est inadmissible de la part d’une chaîne qui se dit B. Sheraton. Ils ont un business avec les compagnies aériennes, ils font dormir les pilotes et les hôtesses, et ils privilégient ce business à celui du tourisme, en essayant de leur donner des vieilles chambres.

Bien placé en bord de mer, le buffet du petit déjeuner est varié et très bon, le coin piscine est agréable.
Cons: Pour un 4 étoiles nous nous attendions à une finission de chambre plus haut de gamme, la première chambre était très humide (tache sur le matelas), la climatisation coulait, porte défectueuse. Le personnel a très vite réagit et nous a changé de chambre, merci pour ça.

20 euro ride into the city but worth it to be at the beach surrounded by trendy beach clubs. Hotel itself is clean but perhaps a bit dated. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Salvo who seemed to work all day and all night in the beach bar/ bar was great and happy to talk to us about Sicily, Italy and football - including the Scottish players in Serie A. Food was of a high standard. Restaurant lacked atmosphere but the food made up for that. Air conditioning in bedrooms was excellent which was needed as it was 38 degrees. Pool was never crowded so no sunbed wars.

La gentilezza del personale
Cons: La struttura è un pò datata e avrebbe bisogno di un po’ di lavori di ammodernamento. La stanza è pulita ma molto vissuta, ad esempio al bagno c’era un forte odore di scarico, è stato segnalato alla reception ma hanno potuto fare poco. In uno dei due bagni era presente una vasca ad idromassaggio molto datata, forse è meglio mettere una doccia?

Carparking underground was great. We had two large rooms, but they did vary quite a bit in what was provided and the view out of the windows. My room was lacking in furniture and depressing due to the decoration. Bed very large and comfortable and large bathroom. Pool quite small and lounge chairs did not give a nice view.
Cons: Could not get any food for a late lunch, just crisps and olives! Not really any nice views from pool deck or restaurant.

I stayed for 2 weeks in the king bed deluxe guest room. The room could have been cleaner as there was dust everywhere, it was more noticeable on the floor as it gathered on your feet. The view of the sea was beautiful and the room itself was spacious. The pool had algae all around the waterline that had gotten onto my white swimsuit and there was also a lot of debris in the pool. The food had it's lows and highs, I had ordered the beef cooked medium numerous times and most of the time it was rare or medium rare. The fish was delicious. However, the last time I had the cheeseburger, it gave me food poisoning which I am still recovering from over 1 week later. The service from the staff was wonderful and they were all very friendly.

Everything is perfect! The location is very good!!! 15-20’ max by car to the city center. Exactly on the beach road with many bars, restaurants etc… quiet at nights which is very good! One minor thing is that the parking is €16 per night where you need to leave your keys at the parking manager/employee and he keeps all the cats unlocked and windows down so whenever leaving the car you need to collect everything you have inside. Just this! Outside road parking you MUST get a ticket which is around €4-€5 daily. Rest is absolutely perfect!!! Highly recommended!

El acceso al mar y la piscina con el pool bar fueron lo más. El gimnasio estaba bien equipado y el spa tenía buenos precios para los huéspedes. La cama era comodísima y la habitación súper espaciosa. La ubicación es excelente para conocer la Riviera dei Ciclopi y sus pueblos. Está a 15 minutos en coche de Catania (también hay bus en la puerta del hotel que te lleva al centro de la ciudad). Personal muy amable y siempre atento con una sonrisa.
Cons: Solo como comentario para mejorar, deberían aumentar la variedad de fruta en el desayuno. Solo había sandía, piña y pera. En una tierra tan rica como Sicilia esperaba más fruta!

The staff is perfectly trained: from the reception desk to the pool to the restaurant The pool guard gave us a swimming vest for the baby, so we had lots of fun The reception desk was attentive and responded immediately to any requests (wifi, bath robes, in-room dining) On a separate note, we want to thank the restaurant personnel who made our gastronomic experience exceptional The hotel serves prosecco breakfast, which was a very pleasant surprise when we started to celebrate my husband's birthday :) Their beds are the largest and most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel

Cons: The location of the hotel is not much good as long you plan to stay in the hotel. The beach in front of the hotel is by somehow private and one need to pay. The hotel doesn't offer free parking for customers. The fee is $16 daily. If you park the car in the street you need to pay 7 euros daily. Catania is a very dirty city, rubbish everywhere. If you plan to visit Catania think it twice before you choose as you end up regretting it.

Mi hija de 15 años tuvo un accidente en la habitación y se hizo una herida en la cara la 1a noche. Estuvimos 4h en Urgencias de un hospital cercano para que la atebdieran. Tras notificar al personal del hotel y a su director lo sucedido, se mostraron muy empàticos y para que no tuviésemos ese mal recuerdo de la estancia, el director nos obsequió con 2 invitaciones. Queremos destacar del hotel su amable personal y la calidez en el trato. A pesar de no empezar con buen pié, tenemos buen recuerdo de la estancia.

Unusal, quirky decor but a great hotel! Staff friendly and helpful, very clean, beds incredibly comfortable and a brilliant pool area. Breakfast quite basic (extra charge for fried eggs or omelette) and restaurant pricey as often is the case in hotels. Not central to Catania but lovely to be away from the craziness so you can relax. Good bus options to the town, or further up the coast.

The breakfast was amazing, and as a true lover of hotel breakfasts, this was the one! The staff was very friendly, ready to help and also good english speakers, which was rare in the Sicily.
Cons: The only thing it wasn't okay was the Pets Allowed policy! When I search for a Pets Allowed Hotel I expect to find places where the pets are allowed to enter everywhere, even if I have to pay an extra for that. However this was not one of those places, since the pets can't enter in the common areas. The good thing was that the staff do an effort to let us bring our little dog in his transportation bag to the breakfast so he could not be alone in the bedroom. I would consider to explicit that the pets aren't allowed everywhere in the Booking.com

Cons: Verouderd hotel, niet echt aantrekkelijk. Moeilijk parkeerplaats te vinden in de buurt( betalend, wel voordeliger dan de betalende parking aan t hotel) Te weinig ruimte voor ligbedden aan t zwembad en dus niet voldoende plaats. Ontbijt niet inbegrepen.

The hotel itself facilities wise is good, great pool and private access to the beach. However the rooms are terrible! We paid extra for a deluxe room but it was incredibly old and dirty. We arrived to find an empty can of drunk Pepsi in the bathroom and vape wrappers by the safe. The room wasn't cleaned deeply. We did get an apology from both the cleaners and reception but feel this shouldn't have been missed had the room been cleaned properly in the first place. The ceiling is also rotting away in the room, see photos attached. I also would strongly NOT recommend the breakfast, it's incredibly average and not worth paying for. The waiters rush you out of breakfast rudely if you're still eating past 10am. Overall better to save your money and not get. Overall this hotel is a 3 star hotel at best, definitely not a 4 star hotel as advertised. Plus the hotel is incredibly far from Catania and anything decent to visit and you will have to keep on getting expensive Ubers to the city centre. There are better hotels towards Catania central which you must consider for the price as this place isn't cheap either!

Staff were so friendly and helpful. The car attendants were trustworthy and helpful. We felt at ease handing over our keys to them and the carpark is spacious. We knew we would have no issues with our car. Room is spacious. The pool is big. Pool bar is great. We really couldnt fault the stay. It is outside Catania but we had a car!
Cons: The only fault I have is that car parking is an additional payment, however seems like this is standard in Sicily! We ate in the restaurant on site one night and the food was average. Lack of choice and expensive for what it was.

Cons: Piscine et accès à la mer fermés à 18h. Avec cette chaleur, c’est scandaleux…Le responsable retire déjà les parasols à 17h30 pour être certain d’avoir terminé son travail à 18h. En résumé après une journée de visite à l’extérieur…impossible des notre retour de se rafraîchir en profitant de la piscine et de l’accès à mer.

The hotel is a little dated but this did not take away from what a lovely stay we had. Staff were so friendly and catered to all our needs. Very helpful. We asked to see the "Horta" garden's. Which is well worth a look. This is where some of the produce for the restaurant is grown. Cute little shops on site and the pool / seaside was very relaxing. A good 30min walk to Aci castello centre and a bus ride from the centre of Catania. A good little find

Hotel was just a bit too far from centre. Requires expensive taxi rides. Not much choice of eateries near hotel. No hotel shuttle service. Replenishing of room amenities not consistent, always missing items however housekeeping is very friendly and will respond with providing when asked. Facilities in hotel limited. SPA not always avaliable, pool opens late in morning. Room layout not good. Not enough electrical power points. But has nice balcony and every room has view of sea. Staff at front desk do try to be helpful but are limited in what they can help.

Cons: The only disadvantage during stay - the pool's working hours are not convenient at all. I.e. 10:00-18:00 is the time when you go out for a tour of the area, and it would be convenient to go to the pool in the morning 8:00-9:00 or in the evening after 18:00. Public transport - no timetable, difficult to plan trips. Taxi fares - huge :(
