Cons: The breakfast of 800batt seems overpriced for Thailand. Please avoid doing laundry at the hotel. 14pcs of clothes (7 of which was underwear and pair of socks) cost us 2100 batt (around 60eur) which is ridiculous.

Wir können eigentich nur Gutes über das Hotel sagen. Die Angestellten sind alle durch die Bank super nett und zuvorkommend. Wenn etwas fehlt, wird es sogleich erledigt, damit der Kunde zufrieden ist. Wir haben an zwei verschiedenen Terminen dort übernachtet. Ende Juli und Mitte Juli.
Cons: Lediglich das Frühstück ist seinen Preis definitiv nicht wert. Irgendwie wird es lustlos serviert bzw. hergerichtet. Dies war in allen anderen Hotels sehr viel besser. Das wäre aber kein Grund , das Hotel nicht mehr zu buchen. Gerne buche ich dieses Hotel beim nächsten Mal wieder, nur eben ohne Frühstück.

Everything concerning the room, the hotel, the staffs, and the location!. - Great service, very nice, helpful, and friendly staffs. - We got one of the room with the best view looking over the Rama IV road. The room was spacious, well decorated, and clean. - The bed was big and comfortable. - The hotel located about 200-300m away from the blue MRT line (metro) and dark green BTS line (sky train), which will bring you to almost every sight seeing spots in Bangkok.
Cons: - The hotel's soap contains black charcoal, which makes the towel and the bathroom look dirty pretty quickly. Sometimes, you do see the residue of the black charcoal even on the fresh towels. - The pool is not exactly a rooftop pool as you wont be seeing the skyline of Bangkok from there, but it is secluded and good for someone who seeks isolation from Bangkok busy street.

30年前に宿泊して以来の利用でしたが、リノベーションもきちんと行われており、とてもきれいで、快適でした。朝ごはんもメニューが充実しており、6:00から食べることができたので、早いホテル出発の時には助かりました。地下鉄やBTSの駅までのアクセスも良く、マッサージも近くにたくさんあり、夜出歩いても明るいので、安全な感じでした。何と言っても、このコストパフォーマンスは素晴らしいと思います。時間も絶対に宿泊したいと思います。

Die Premium Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig. Haben bequeme Betten und ein grosses Fenster. Die Belüftung ist auch bei ausgeschalteter Klimaanlage sehr angenehm. Die Zimmerreinigung ist sehr gründlich.
Cons: Für ein 5* Hotel waren doch ein paar Punkte die nicht stimmten: Es gibt keine bzw. eine sehr schlechte Schallisolierung, man hört jedes Wort vom nächsten Zimmer. Fast ununterbrochen hört man Stühle die in anderen Zimmer umhergeschoben werden oder wenn jemand das Wasser anstellt. Der Safe ist nicht angeschraubt. Das Frühstück ist mit THB 800 recht hoch für dass was angeboten wird. Der Pool ist nicht sehr einladend gestaltet, bzw. auch schon sehr alt.

Struttura pulita e ottima posizione. Fermata della BTS a neanche 10 minuti a piedi e vicino a molti posti per mangiare. Camere silenziose e molto pulite. Comodo anche il ristorante all’interno dell’hotel. Piccola piscina ma molto comoda. Colazione abbondante. Lo consiglio anche con bambini.

Mooi hotel op super locatie in Silom. Vlakbij Silom center, de metro en uitgaansgelegenheden. We sliepen in een recent gerenoveerde kamer. De kamer is heel ruim. Bed, beddengoed en kussens was erg comfortabel. Grote badkamer met Japans toilet, apart bad en inloopdouche. Er is een prima zwembad. Helaas relatief weinig bedjes maar het vriendelijke personeel probeert daarvoor een oplossing te vinden.
Cons: Het is enigszins gehorig. De airconditioning maakt ook veel geluid dus die lieten we 's nachts uit. De badkamer afvoer stonk af en toe. Dit kon helaas niet worden verholpen gedurende ons verblijf.

Where do I begin, a warm welcome as we arrived at the hotel from Mr Khwan who we got to know over the next 10 days and always welcomed us with a warm greeting and forever ready to help. Check in was very smooth we were looked after by two people including the very nice Mr Sun. We got to our room on 17th floor - room 1704 a California King Suite. The room is beautifully appointed. Large 8foot bed, a sofa and an armchair, a large desk / table with two chairs one is like an office chair. 55” wall mounted tv. Walk in wardrobes with plenty of space for keeping suitcases. Separate WC with washbasin and then a large bathroom with a tub? Large rain shower, washbasin and a dressing area. Lovely charcoal products in bathroom. Soft and fluffy white towels. The room was a hit for us as we are travelling as a family of 3. On our first night we decided to just stay at the hotel for our meal. Being strict vegetarian we don’t eat meat, fish, or eggs. We spoke to a very nice team in the restaurant, who called the head chef for us. He fully comprehended that we don’t want any fish meat or eggs in our meal including fish sauces or shrimp paste, also non of the condiments to contain any fish. He and the team prepared the most delicious Thai meal for us, pad thai, vegetable fried rice, green curry and rice. Finger licking good. We have a daughter who has a very limited diet and is unable to adapt. The team very happily offered to make for her what she is okay eating for breakfast. All with such a happy and welcoming smile. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is almost at full capacity but the staff wouldn’t let you feel that you weren’t special to them. Just knowing how much difficulty my daughter faces in an infant place we were quite anxious about our trip to Thailand. But there was no need as this hotel has the most amazing team run by an incredible management team that takes away any stresses you have. Can’t end without mentioning a few special people we have met here. Chef Pu, Chef Jok, Ms Wa, Ms K, Mr Klae, Mr Khwan, Mr Sun. And an amazing team in the restaurant and my apologies that i don’t remember all their names but they have really gone out of their way to make us feel at home. Massive congratulations to the management of the Montien Surawong for having such a happy team and an incredibly well run hotel. Thank you all very much we are indebted to you.

We had broken Glass all over our floor as our child had accidentally dropped a water bottle but it took ages for them to turn up and we had to involve the manager in the end who was very helpful and apologetic. The location is very close to the red light area - we were with kids and managed to avoid the side alleys . The hotel is just off a very busy road with lots of traffic . However the traffic noise does not permeate into the hotel and once you are inside it’s very luxurious and nice.

Came here with a cosmedi tour package for a mummy make over surgery as a solo newly single mum first time ever overseas. This hotel is amazing the staff are incredible and so helpful in navigating the area i recovered really well and was able ti do some tourist things and they helped me with organising anything i needed. I truly felt so cared for and treated like royalty. I will be back again it was such an incredible experience and the door man Tikk is the best so cheerful, always helping with bags or getting in and out of cars post hospital visits or after sightseeing and giving advice places to visit. I will be back next year this time with my kids so they can experience this hotel and amazing place and culture. The rooms are huge with lots of little extras such as usb ports a new toothbrush and toothpaste daily so you dont even need to pack yours. For such a large busy hotel the noice level at night was great no waking up from people yelling or being loud in the hallways the sound proofing is great. The staff clean the rooms so thoroughly. The food options are fantastic and varied to all neeeds. I couldnt fault it i had an incredible time.

Wir hatten ein Premier Zweibettzimmer, diese sind sehr niedrig (Altbau) und hatte eine sehr schlechte Luftquallität. Da das Fenster nicht zum öffnen ist kann frische Luft nur über die Lüftung rein. Und diese Luft ist nicht gut. Der Pool ist überhaupt nicht schön und du willst hier keine Zeit verbringen. Die Sonne kommt nur mittags für kurze Zeit hin. Davor und danach liegt er komplett im Schatten. Late-Check-out wurde trotz Bezahlung und vorheriger Mitteilung erst am Abreisetag genehmigt. (Bis 18Uhr 50%)

I chose this hotel for its location: many restaurants, massage parlors, night market.The room is large, bathroom small. Expected more toiletries for a 5 star hotel. One of the door men was radiating good mood, put the smile on my face.
Cons: Very noisy: airco runs like an old diesel generator. Walls are thin: you hear other people talking in the adjacent rooms and when they showered. Our room was second after utility room, from the lift but you still could hear it. Not thoroughly cleaned: greasy foreheads on the window, floor tiles with dirt.

Isn’t consistent and respectful service a basic, yet somehow optional here? The security guard refused to allow me to park on the ground floor, claiming the area was reserved for high-roof vehicles that cannot access the parking structure. However, after I parked upstairs, I saw the same guard directing another crossover car to park in that exact slot. When I asked for clarification, the guard’s only explanation was that the other driver “didn’t know how to drive up the ramp.” I reported the incident to the staff manager, but the response I received was simply an apologize and “We will look into it.” This experience left me feeling very disappointed. A fair treatment should be a basic for all guests, not something to expect.

We had a great experience from Australia. Tikk is the most welcoming person at the hotel and always puts a smile on your face in the morning. The staff are extremely helpful. No request was too much. The breakfast buffet has a good mix of Asian and western foods. The bed in the room was firmer than I’d like but that’s a preference thing, really and was completely overshadowed by the sheer size (king and a half in size). Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay again if I came back to Thailand.

The daily buffet breakfast deserves a special mention. The freshly made omelets every morning were my absolute favourite, and the coffee was always superb. Such a perfect way to start each day. A huge shout out to ALL the hotel staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, kind, caring, and attentive. Their warmth truly made our stay memorable. I have done alot of travelling and this would have to be the best hotel i have ever stayed in. It is very central to everything you need such as the night markets, good massage parlours and restaurants. The service here was second to none. The door man Tikk was beyond beautiful. He always greeted me with the biggest smile and took such pride in his job. He went above and beyond for me, insuring my taxi was ordered and that i got everything i needed. The staff within the hotel were also so friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast here was insane, such verity from Asian to western cuisine. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Bangkok. 100/10

Cons: There is a constant food smell in the lobby and the elevators from the restaurant. There were some insects in the lobby that bit us in the last day.

The montien is one of the nicest hotels my husband and I have ever stayed at! The decor is so opulent and the staff are so friendly and welcoming . Tikk the doorman is an absolute delight. Such a funny character. The food was great. The breakfast buffet was very impressive with a lot of variety. We spent a lot of time chilling by the pool, and made friends with Joe the bar man, who is a lovely man, and super accomodating. I would highly recommend, and I’m sure we will be back next time we find ourselves in Bangkok. Absolutely amazing experience.

We stayed for 3 nights and we were made to feel so special at this hotel. Staff were so attentive, they acknowledge you when walking past with greetings and smiles, call the lift if they see you approaching and generally just very helpful. Rooms were very comfortable, offering all the usual toiletries and amenities. Location is great too. The food is amazing too but there is also a great place a few streets behind called Mango Tree which was also a great restaurant.

Montien was fantastic. From the moment you walk into to the beautiful lobby. Room was modern, bright and spacious and had all the facilities you could need. Breakfast area is well designed and partitioned into smaller areas to give comfort and space, avoiding the the hustle and bustle normally experienced in big city hotels. Tikk on the door was always bright and cheerful and always made us feel welcome, as did all staff. Location is great with bars, restaurants and the Patong Night Market nearby. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved my stay here, the staff are so friendly and helpful - especially Tikk at the door, you’ll get to know him each day when leaving and returning, he’s the one with the big smile. The facilities provide you with everything you need and you’re only a short walk away from the Metro and Skytrain. I was warmly welcomed and exceptionally well-taken care of by Khun Toey, the Assistant Front Office Manager. Her attention and personal touch were greatly appreciated and made a fantastic first impression. Accommodation and Location The room was spotless and very clean. Despite the hotel's classic heritage, the room interior has a modern and contemporary design, offering a comfortable and stylish retreat after a day out. The location is truly excellent, making it incredibly easy to access many of Bangkok's key attractions and vibrant areas. A Special Mention: Rama 4 Bistro A definite highlight of my visit was enjoying coffee at the Rama 4 Bistro within the hotel. The service here was second to none. The barista, Khun Noi, provided outstanding care. She was attentive, genuinely engaged, and consistently checked on my satisfaction. The Iced Cappuccino was exceptionally good, but the service from Khun Noi is what made the experience particularly memorable and impressive.

Très belle chambre et petit déjeuner copieux. La salle de sport est de grande qualité. L’hôtel est situé à proximité du parc Lumpini et facilement accessible en métro.
Cons: Le dépôt de garantie ne nous a toujours pas été restitué malgré la fin du séjour et une relance par e-mail restée sans réponse.

מתקני המלון מרשימים ומספקים. בענינו המיקום מעולה. יש הכל בקרבת המלוןויצר הדברים במרחק נסיעה מאוד קצר או אפילו הליכה.
Cons: במעמד ההזמנה, ניסינו לכתוב למלון על מנת לבקש חדרים עם דלת מקשרת. לצערנו הם לא ענו כלל. כשהגענו, הסבירו כי זה ידוע לכל שאין להם דלת מקשרת, אך הדבר לא מצוין באתר. להבנתי כן יש חדרים משפחה, אך לא היו פנויים. יש לציין כי הם כן עשו מאמץ ושאלו אם נעדיף אחד ליד הדני, או מול השני. בסוף גם שמו אותנו בקצה המסדרון, מה שהיה נהדר עבורינו.

Cons: Breakfast is a bit disappointing. My wife is lactose intolerant and she had almost nothing to eat and no oat milk either. Needs some improvement.

Everyone at the Montien hotel is amazing, we spoke a lot with Tikk who always greeted us with such kindness and really made our day. Thank you to Tassy and Orn for letting us do a late checkout also, we will definitely be back :)

Tikk, kwankaw & Max were the most hospitable staff at the hotel and really made our experience. Tikk’s positivity and genuine care really put smiles on our faces every day! Few frustrations with hotel like not able to Chromecast and our keys kept needing rewiring so many times and miscommunication with laundry money.

Amazing welcome from everyone, especially Orn, Tassy & Noey, feel like home from home, highly recommend ❤️ The lobby loud is very beautiful with Little library and elegant piano. Nice welcome from CosMediTour lady - Mutsee. Another 14 character. Mr Tikk is a delight.

Beautiful hotel, exceptional customer service and staff. Highly satisfied with our 3 night stay here. Great location for sight seeing, plenty of other transport options nearby, hotel breakfast and lounge areas have wonderful food and selections, pool and bar clean and gardens well maintained. This hotel has been renovated. Our trip was booked for a junior suite. Very spacious for 4 adults. We will remember our stay here at the Montien Hotel Surawong forever more. Special mention to Tikk who has a very endearing manner. You made us smile a lot. Thank you, from Australia.

The bed is massive. Biggest bed ever. Service is fantastic and all the staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has wonderful food, especially the chicken rice. The CosMediTour has been wonderful and very organised, and big thanks to Sun for being wonderful. Highly recommended hotel!!!

Very smooth service from the Front Desk staff. Noey and Bank are very so much nice. I have a wonderful time here. The location is so great and very close to all attraction sites. The transportation was very comfortable as well. Will be back for sure.

Excellent reception with a nice drink and the room was available right away even though we were early. Kontiennhotel in Bangkok is a hidden gem! The location is fantastic, putting you right in the heart of everything. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer a great night's sleep. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommend for a fantastic Bangkok experience!
