⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa. Everything was excellent, from the beautiful hotel and facilities to the warm and professional service. A special mention goes to Youssra Djbari from the housekeeping team. She was incredibly kind, attentive and professional, and always made sure that everything in the room was perfectly taken care of. Her friendliness and attention to detail really made a difference during our stay. It is employees like Youssra who make a hotel stay feel truly special. She is a real asset to the Hilton team and deserves to be recognized for her excellent service. The only small point of improvement would be the breakfast service, which could sometimes be a bit more attentive and consistent. With a bit more focus from the breakfast team, the overall experience would be absolutely perfect. Thank you to the entire Hilton team for another wonderful stay. I will definitely be happy to come back! ❤️

Cons: Non si può definire un 5 stelle se non per la struttura in se ma un resort medio per famiglie Scale esterne macchiate e in generale le zone comuni esterne molto da pulire, recinzione zona buffet piena di deiezioni di uccelli con tavoli addossati alla recinzione stessa. Buffet della cena carissimo con tavoli apparecchiati come in una mensa. Nella camera ogni giorno mancava o l'asciugamano o il tappeto della doccia o le bottiglie dell'acqua ecc. Nessuna dotazione di courtesy kit, cuffia doccia ecc.

Cons: One of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had Our biggest issue was the management and the way guests are treated. The hotel advertises check-in at 4:00 PM, which is already quite late compared with the usual 3:00 PM check-in at many hotels. Yet despite this, we only managed to get into our rooms at around 6:00 PM. First, we were given rooms that had a very unpleasant smell. When we were finally offered another room at around 5:30 PM, we discovered that there was a problem with the key and the staff were still trying to repair it. So even after waiting for hours, we still could not properly access our rooms. After having to make a strong complaint at reception, they finally agreed to change our rooms. However, the children’s rooms were then located quite far away from ours, which was not ideal. In the end, we only managed to get into our rooms at around 6:00 PM. This entire check-in experience was completely unacceptable. We were travelling with children and had already waited for hours, only to be given rooms that smelled bad, followed by another room with a key problem, and then rooms that were not conveniently located together. The reception team in Tangier clearly needs a great deal of training, supervision and proper management. The way guests are received and treated is simply not what we would expect from a Hilton property. Unfortunately, things became even worse after we had already left the hotel. We were charged money in relation to cancellations made through Booking.com. We repeatedly contacted the hotel to resolve the issue, but instead of taking responsibility and properly investigating what had happened, we were passed from one person to another. We spent money on multiple phone calls trying to resolve an issue that should never have happened in the first place. What was particularly shocking was the complete lack of accountability from the management.

Overall, our stay was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had two rooms: Room 106 was fine, but Room 111 was unacceptable. It had a very strong sewage/drain smell that made it extremely uncomfortable, especially with a child staying with us. We reported the issue, and although a machine was used to temporarily remove the odor, it came back a few hours later. This issue seriously affected our stay and should be addressed.

Странная позиция отеля по отношению к своим гостям (на такси 400дирхам), воду в номер приносят только после обращения на рецепшн, очень далеко от города ( 40-60 минут), платный пилатес, платная анимация… Хилтон уже не тот(

Cons: Der Strand war sehr dreckig. Überall Plastikmüll, Kamel und Pferdekot. Der Kinderpool im Hotel war trüb und es schwimmt überall kleine fragliche Stücke herum. So dass wir die Kinder dort leider nicht mehr schwimmen lassen konnten. Hygiene wird da leider nicht groß geschrieben. Personal ist überfordert. Getränke werden vergessen. Auf eine Kinderstuhl mussten wir eine Stunde warten.

La vue sur l’océan est absolument magnifique et les espaces extérieurs sont agréables. C’est malheureusement le seul véritable point positif que nous retenons de notre séjour

Cons: Notre séjour a très mal commencé. Nous avions réservé et payé une Suite Deluxe avec vue océan et lit King Size. À notre arrivée, une chambre avec seulement une vue partielle sur l’océan et un lit de 160 cm nous a été attribuée, ce qui ne correspondait pas à notre réservation Booking. Après avoir signalé le problème, la réception a envoyé le housekeeping, qui n’a apporté aucune solution. Nous avons attendu plus d’une heure sans aucun retour avant de redescendre à la réception, où nous avons encore patienté très longtemps. Au total, il aura fallu près de 2 h 30 pour obtenir enfin la chambre réservée, alors que nous avions payé 320 € la nuit. En guise de dédommagement, un simple bon pour deux boissons nous a été remis, ce qui est très insuffisant au vu du préjudice subi. Pendant deux jours, il nous a également été impossible de faire du change à l’hôtel. Le spa est intégralement payant (environ 30 € par personne et par heure), ce qui renforce le sentiment que tout est facturé en supplément. Le plus décevant reste l’attitude du responsable que nous avons finalement rencontré. Loin de présenter des excuses, il a laissé entendre que ce type de situation était normal et que les chambres n’étaient « pas si chères » pour les prestations proposées. Nous sortions d’un Relais & Châteaux à Fès, dans une gamme de prix similaire, où le niveau de service était incomparable. Ici, nous avons eu davantage l’impression d’être dans un complexe de tourisme de masse que dans un établissement Hilton. Si vous recherchez l’hospitalité marocaine et un véritable service haut de gamme, nous vous conseillons de passer votre chemin

Cons: This is my fourth hilton of the year and by far the most disappointing. The room I was given at check-in was not the one I had booked. I had reserved a room with a sea view but was assigned a room overlooking the padel court instead. I was also disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding the padel court fees. The receptionist quoted us 500 MAD for a session for two people, while your website states 100 MAD per person. These issues gave the impression that some guests are not treated with the same level of consideration as others, which is not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. Finally, the breakfast staff were not very attentive, whereas the dinner staff were professional, and welcoming. Overall, the service fell short of the standards expected from a luxury hotel.

Booked a honeymoon stay at the resort and all-in-all it was an enjoyable experience. The check-in was smooth, the suite spacious and with a stunning straightforward ocean view (room 275, but keep in mind that it is in farthest corner of the hotel and it takes around 5-7 minutes to get to the main infrastructure). TBH the suite looked much better in reality that in did in the pictures. It was also great for a good nights' sleep - the mattress and the pillows comfortable, the blackout drapes and soundproofing of the entire room efficient. The bathroom featured both a walk in shower and a bathtub. There weren't any bathrobes provided, but you could ask one if needed. However the bathroom amenities were scarce - only shower gel/handwash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion with no basic toiletries such as a toothpaste, cotton pads/swabs, etc. The same goes for the tea/coffee amenities - there was tea and cream, but no coffee. Also there were ants in the room. I hope none of the other crawling insects were present. The buffet had adequate variety and always featured both Moroccan and international cuisine - not too much and not too little - just the right amount even for a picky eater. There were always unlimited fresh fruit and mint tea. The desserts not even looked good, but tasted so as well (which is rare). The cooking stations also provided a fresh variety - eggs, waffles, crepes and flatbreads for breakfast with pasta, pizza, shawarma and barbecue for dinner. Fresh watermelon and orange juice could be self-served at breakfast, for dinner guests were offered water and sodas (no extra charge needed), other drinks (including the juice) were chargeable. The waiters' team were all really welcoming, helpful and attentive even without the tip - that was a nice and very pleasant surprise. The hotel grounds are pretty vast, well-kept, groomed and clean, with plenty of walking and sitting space. There is an equipped deck outside the grounds that stretches a long way along the beach - a really nice opportunity to take a stroll, especially at sunset which is truly mesmerising. The beach is kind of private and the area with the chairs is well-groomed. Approaching the water however is not pleasant at all - with debris, rubbish and whatnot lying around. The pools look nice and big, however they are on a bit dirty side and the water is not warm at all - not a very pleasant place to swim in. So if you plan a beach vacation, this particular Hilton is hardly a place to go. The hotel offers additional free sport activities (volleyball, pilates etc) and some extras at a charge - spa with a hammam, buggy/quad/ebike rental. Golf amenities are also a pleasant extra for a fair price. However the driving range could use a bit more shade. We also got to enjoy the spa - I was lucky to be assigned a skilled masseuse who knew what they were doing and even though it was a basic relaxing massage for 60 mins, I enjoyed every minute of it. My husband however wasn't as lucky and said that it was just a basic massage, nothing special. For me pretty much the only downsides of the resort were chill water in a pool and the fact that we weren't provided any additional compliments since having chosen Hilton as our honeymoon destination. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Tangier.

Cons: The breakfast was below expectations for a 5 star hotel. Plenty of effort but not much substance. The location is about 40 minutes from the city and getting a taxi to and from the hotel is near on impossible so you are stuck with the overpriced hotel car. Do not use Uber as they do not travel to and from town. InDrive increase the prices stated once they realise where you are going.

Cons: Como aspecto menos positivo, a nuestra llegada nos encontramos con varios autocares y una conferencia con un gran número de personas en el alojamiento. Au petit-déjeuner, Alae nous a offert un service irréprochable, toujours souriant et aux petits soins. Un grand merci également au manager, Monsieur moujahid le manager pour sa présence, son professionnalisme et son sens du détail. J’ai aussi eu la très belle surprise de découvrir une attention particulière dans ma chambre, préparée avec soin par Hajar, la femme de chambre. Un geste qui m’a beaucoup touchée. Et que dire de Ayoub, le plagiste, qui a été adorable et particulièrement attentionné avec mon fils. C’est ce genre de détail qui rend un séjour vraiment inoubliable. The staff at this hotel in the spa and front office area/desk of the hotel is amazing. I appreciate Sanae first, the spa manager, who took such amazing care of me. The service and attention to detail were remarkable. Second Nada, the Lobby Host, was also so helpful, and her hospitality and follow-up were outstanding. La piscine avec Dj ainsi que la diversité des plats du buffet. Le golf à proximité est une plus value. Le personnel était très agréable.

Cons: L'hôtel étant excentré il y a un fort intérêt pour les activités. Toutefois, leur prix étant des prix de 5 étoiles en Europe (Suisse/France) cela décourage a la consommation. Par exemple la location d'un terrain de padel à 40 euro ou le quad à 30 euro pour 30 minutes. On nous a proposé un aller retour à 120 euro à Assilah. Nous avons finalement payé 30 euro en taxi officiel. Les prix sont 2x à 4x plus élevés qu'ailleurs au Maroc que cela soit pour les activités ou consommations. On arrive donc à des prix d'hôtels européens. En ce qui concerne le golf, nous pensions qu'il appartenait à l'hôtel. Ce n'était pas le cas ainsi il y a uniquement 20% de remise sur les green fees. Il y a 3 restaurants mais un seul est dans le forfait de la demi-pension.

Parts of the order missing. Then went to see if room was ready and were asked to check in again, which we already did. Staff couldn’t find our Check in paperwork. Sent us to a room that was made up for two people but booked for three people. When we complained, we got a voucher for three free sodas. Went back to the only lunch restaurant the next day and sat there for 20 mins before my husband had to go and ask someone to serve us. There was only one other table seated and staff standing around. Not busy at all. Bellhop made me grab and bring him my bags to load into the cart. Just not what you expect from Hilton. We were disappointed.

This hotel is literally dirtiest hotel I have stayed at ever. Mold all over the bathroom, ripped pillow cases upon checking, towels throughout the trip had hair on them. Every surface of the hotel is dirty. Lounge chairs at pool were covered in bird droppings, all upholstered surfaces are stained, pool deck area looks as if it has never been cleaned. Beach is littered with broken glass and human feces. The food is also very subpar. I asked to speak with a manager three separate times during our stay and supposedly zero management was in during the 4 days of our trip. Do not stay here!

Let me start with the only positive aspect of this hotel: the property itself is beautiful, the facilities look nice, and I enjoyed the Starbucks café in the lobby. Unfortunately, everything else was a complete disappointment. We arrived during the Eid holiday and were assigned a room located almost at the very end of the resort, far from reception. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room was a large insect crawling on the floor. Nobody seemed concerned about it. We moved it into the corridor because I did not want to kill it. Things only got worse from there. We had paid for a pool and sea-view room, yet our "view" consisted mostly of bushes. The floor was visibly dirty, the carpet had not been vacuumed, and the overall cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. I will attach photos. What shocked me the most was the complete lack of basic quality control. When we tried to call reception or order food, we discovered that the phone was not even connected because the cable was missing. How can a room be released to guests without anyone noticing something so obvious? For a hotel charging over MAD 2,000 per night, this level of negligence is astonishing. For the first time in my life, I went to reception to complain. The solution offered? Two alternative rooms with no view whatsoever. Yes, they were cleaner, but we specifically paid extra for a sea-view room. In other words, I was given a choice between cleanliness and the room category I had paid for. That should never happen in a hotel of this standard. Later that evening, after walking all the way back to our room to get ready for dinner, we discovered that our key cards had stopped working. I am pregnant and had to walk all the way back to reception again. I spoke directly with the Duty Manager and explained every issue in detail. He assured me everything would be addressed and even asked me to send him an email. Frankly, I found this ridiculous. Why should I have to send an email when I am standing right in front of management explaining the problems? When we returned after dinner, we found that housekeeping had left dental kits, vanity kits, and folded a towel into a heart shape. A nice gesture perhaps, but completely missing the point. I did not need decorative towels. I needed a clean room. Despite speaking directly to management, the floor remained dirty and the carpet was still not vacuumed. At that moment, I realized nobody was actually listening. The following morning, breakfast was the final straw. Many of the plates were dirty and had an unpleasant smell. It took me six attempts to find one that appeared reasonably clean. Hygiene was clearly a recurring problem throughout the property. As a pregnant guest, I simply did not feel comfortable eating there. On the second day, I skipped breakfast altogether because my health was more important than taking a risk. This was, without question, one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. Beautiful buildings and nice facilities mean absolutely nothing when basic cleanliness, maintenance, and guest care are missing. I rarely write negative reviews, but future guests deserve to know what they may be paying for. I would never return, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. One star is only for the beautiful property and Starbucks. Everything else was a failure.

What an amazing trip we had! The hotel staff could not do enough to make our stay a special one. We had a lovely big room overlooking the sea. Every night we had dinner in the L’Olivier restaurant and enjoyed trying the different foods. Aya at reception was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive—she warmly welcomed us and showed us to our ocean-facing room, which was lovely (Number 077). The breakfast and dinner offered a great variety, and everything was fresh and delicious. Our favourites were the beef with almonds, msemen flatbread, the strong espresso in the morning, and freshly squeezed juice—just to name a few of the many options we enjoyed. Mention spéciale à Mlle Nouhaila qui a su nous aider à organiser une surprise pour les 60 ans de mon père. À notre arrivée dans la chambre, un gâteau d’anniversaire, des pétales de roses et une belle carte d’anniversaire y ont été déposés. Nous disposions d’un appartement avec 2 chambres. La surface ainsi que la vue étaient exceptionnels. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Cons: Le service du restaurant l’Olivier n’est pas la hauteur du standing de l’hôtel. Les plats dégustés étaient très bons, mais malheureusement un groupe était présent ce jour là et nous avons été délaissé. Nous étions trois à table, deux plats débarrassés , puis des assiettes vides restent sur la table pendant 30 minutes. Les serveurs défilent mais aucun ne propose de nous donner la carte des desserts… Dans ce contexte, nous avons choisi de pas prolonger notre expérience dans ce restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est parfait, si ce n’est le buffet chaud qui ne l’est pas !! Ayant pris une suite avec vue sur l’océan, je le déconseille si l’on vous loge au niveau plage, la vue océan donne une vue sur la clôture de l’établissement, je trouve cela quelque peu anormal, privilégiez une chambre en étage.

Cons: I knew that is was a bit out of reach from the hustle and bustle of Tangier, but the resort offered a daily shuttle bus (leaves at 10 am and offers a return at 4 pm) or a private chauffeur for 400DH one way. Because it was so far away we made use of the chauffeur once, which was really comfortable as well as of the shuttle bus option. So if you one really want to explore Tangier, just be considered of the location of the resort.

I stayed for three nights whilst in northern Morocco on business. The Hilton is a large resort style hotel on the coast surrounded by a golf course, the area is very quiet, about a 20-minute drive from the airport and a 45+ minute drive from central Tangier. It’s isolated location makes a car very handy unless you are planning to only visit the resort itself. Check-in was quick and friendly with the receptionist making time to describe the hotels amenities. The room was fantastic, one of the best I’ve seen in Morocco, large, clean and nicely decorated in a modern style but still maintaining Moroccan touches. In addition to the large bed, seating area, large balcony and dressing table the room also had a desk, perfect for catching up with work. Plenty of power sockets by both the bed and desk, good fast Wi-Fi and powerful aircon. The room had an iron and board in the wardrobe which I always appreciate when away on business. The bathroom was also large and well equipped with a good shower, and nice bath. The hotel grounds are very well kept, with several large swimming pools, and landscaped gardens leading down to the quiet beach, excellent for a good stroll before dinner. The choice at the evening buffet was a little limited but as was staying in the off-season and the hotel was quite this is understandable; and the quality of the food was very good. Breakfast had a large selection and was very good, my only complaint was that a family of small birds were busy stealing bread from the breakfast buffet, which whilst amusing to watch is not very hygienic. On the whole I was very happy with my stay and will book again if in the area.

Also the communication between staff was pretty bad, we found ourselves repeating the same thing to multiple staff. Also, a lot of the restaurants and amenities did not let you use card, you could old charge to the room. This is great for a one or two night stay, but nothing more.

le petit déjeuner était très varié et riche, rien à reprocher côté personnel aussi donc parfait. L'hotel est très grand et attenant à un terrain de golf, l'orientation de la chambre jusqu'au petit déjeuner...galère. L'emplacement de l'hotel est très chouette, sortie de l'autoroute et on y est...mais le soucis c'est qu'on est isolé de la ville et pour aller visiter Tanger c'est plus tôt compliqué, en moyenne 40 min de trajet. Cet hotel aurait pu être un très chouette hotel all IN comme en espagne ou en Turquie, on ne devrait pas mettre un pied dehors...

Cons: L'hotel est vraiment très grand, pas en hauteur mais en longueur et il est très facile de se planter surtout qu'il n'y a pas un flechage pour vous orienter...Absence de piscine intérieur :(

The staff, the facility, the overall vibe, loved that its a family friendly hotel. Large range of activities to choose from. Prices were reasonable, but it would be good if a pricelist of all the activities is also made available at the reception.
